So I waited in line for tpain like many others having him play at Heineken house was a major loss. It was a ridiculous line and a lot of us were told we were not going to be able to go in. It got so bad security started coming and escorting demanding us to disperse. Major loss for the day, an artist like him should be on a bigger stage and if there is a set limit on people for an artist maybe think ahead instead of having fans wait and then be told to leave when they paid good money to attend the fest.

Hey. I'm using Logic Pro live as a "backing track player" and for MIDI switching on my Kemper, etc.
I also run my vocal mic through Logic Pro for some pitch correction. But the latency is really bothersome :-D
I've set my interface to a latency of 36 samples in the preferences.
The latency isn't noticeable normally, but when I turn on the pitch correction plugin, it causes a significant and noticeable delay. However, when I used StudioOne with the free GSnap Plugin, I didn't experience any latency.
Do you have any suggestions for reducing the latency?

So I'm trying to fine-tune my vocal track using GSnap. I have it set to MIDI input in the plugin GUI, enabled MIDI input, and I even went into the plugin properties and enabled "Configure as Synth". However it is still not showing up on the list of outputs. I am using the latest version of Cakewalk. Any suggestions?

i grew up on suicideboys thanks to my sister but i’m a massive haunted mound fan now. seeing the videos from recently where people are being so disrespectful to them is really fucking sad. you cunts look like mannequins at least bob your head around. also whoever is doing the audio mixing, fuck you for making them sound like 2007 tpain. this whole debarcle reminds me of when lil tyler flower boy fans were playing duck duck goose during teezo touchdowns set on the CMIYGL tour.

I do not like how I sound when recording with my current set up. I used to record music on my phone, where I used this app called Take and I loved how I sounded. I had issues with my songs being quiet because I could not apply a noise gate, so I decided to upgrade my set-up for a more professional sound. Currently, I have the Audient Evo-4 for my interface, AKAI MPK Mini for my midi, Shure SM58 for my mic, and my DAW is cakewalk and bandlab’s website based software. I wanted to test my sound by recording a couple fun songs from samples, but my voice sounds so bad. Maybe I’m not used to my own voice, maybe I should convert to indie music, maybe I should figure out how to use my setup with my iPhone but most importantly, maybe I don’t know what I’m doing. Any advice?
Note: I use the vocal effect chains and presets that come with the software, along with gsnap

I've been trying to get the same sort of GLaDOS/Turret voice effect with Gsnap and the free version of Graillon 2 for DarkAudacity, but it just doesn't seem to come out right?
Can anyone either recommend some good settings for one of the programs I mentioned, or maybe suggest another free software that I could use?

Thanks to tutorials and other posts here, I've managed to get GSnap set up and merrily pitch-correcting my content. However, a feature mentioned in the manual that isn't working for me. I'm struggling to find guides that show how to troubleshoot it (or show it in action at all, for that matter).

To the left of the controls is a visual representation of the pitch of the source and "tuned" material. The source material appears as a red line graph, and the tuned material a green one.

For me, the window and the controls show up perfectly, but the visualizer area remains grey no matter what. Even when the section is selected and I can hear GSnap successfully adjusting pitches, no colored lines or anything else show up.
If anyone has it working on their computer or knows of a guide specifically about this feature, that would be hugely appreciated!

Potentially Helpful Details:

• As of this post, I have the latest version of GSnap (last modified 24 Jan 2021) for a 64-bit Windows device
• The plug-in's file location reads C: \ Program Files \ Audacity \ plug-ins \ GSnap.dll;0
• In my Manage Plug-ins window, the state is already marked "Enabled"
• I have tried selecting the intended section of a track both before and after opening the GSnap window. Whether the section is highlighted pale blue or not does not seem to affect whether the visualizer works for me

Currently using 11 Suite on Mac
I upgraded to 11 last month, and then upgraded to 11 Suite a couple weeks ago. I haven't been doing any vocal stuff until today, I'm trying to edit a song I made in 10 standard. Now when I try to change the settings for GSnap, it looks like this when I open it, and I can't click on anything, or zoom out, or really just do anything at all with it.
I restarted ableton, rescanned my plug ins, and made sure it was looking in the right folder for my VST plug ins.
However, I am looking to start using a different pitch correction program anyway, so if this is just a plug in that won't work with 11 (on Mac) I won't be heartbroken.
So two questions:

1. What is going on with GSnap? Can I still use it?
2. Any suggestions for either a pitch correction plugin that is available with Suite? Or a good plugin that I can buy for around $50 or less? (it's okay if it's a bit over 50 I just can't go spending $300)

Noble Gaming is an Esports organization that signs professional teams/players who compete in games such as Fortnite, Apex, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. They also sign streamers & content creators as well as host tournaments themselves.
Last year, Noble also launched a cryptocurrency called NobilityToken. This is, of course, followed by an NFT offering and the creation of a sports betting site, launching in a few weeks, where you can use NobilityToken to place bets.
Today, Noble's Partnerships Manager tweeted his resignation letter, calling out Noble's owner, Kyle, for shifting all of his resources into crypto/NFTs and not paying his staff members and talent on the esports side. One of those who did not get paid is no other than T-Pain, who participated in one of their esports tournaments and even shilled their shitcoin on his twitter. This resignation letter is immediately followed by a tweet from the official Noble twitter account, @NobleGG, saying that the social media team refuses to work until they get paid. The tweet was quickly deleted along with the entire @NobleGG twitter account.
This set off a twitter shitstorm, with multiple content creators and staff members calling out Kyle directly in their tweets and announcing departure from the org:

He is apparently blocking all of his staff/creators who have messaged him about payment. Of course, since Kyle is infected with the crypto brain worm, you can see from his twitter profile that he continues to shill for NobilityToken. I even caught this quickly deleted tweet where he's pumping up a crypto social media platform mere hours after being called out publicly on twitter.
More official reporting is sure to be forthcoming on this, but the moral of the story is that this man blew up his entire esports organization and is almost assuredly about to get sued into the ground... all for some jpegs and a shitcoin.
UPDATE: The @NobleGG account is back with a statement from the owner. tl;dr: he is blaming the bank and saying the payments "didn't go through" for some reason. For obvious reasons, this sounds like a bunch of bull. He also mentions their original bank stopped doing business with them because they started dealing in crypto from the company bank account.

I was browsing through twitch, and noticed that the Legend of Zelda, Skyward Sword HD game was unexpectedly high in viewership. So I checked in the category and came upon a channel called "Crown," with 30k+ viewers, 22k followers, and basically no one in chat other than a moderator.
The stream production was insane, playing Skyward Sword on a 30ft XR Display, a huge set, high budget cameras and multi-camera angle operators. So I asked the moderator in the chat for more information on the channel (their team, producers ect.). All I was given was: "All we know is that we love games and Twitch and chat and positive vibes." I didn’t expect to get much, but I thought I’d give it a chance since I was the only one in the chat.
So I did some of my own digging. Crown has some social media that they link to from Twitch, but all platforms are small and contain minimal information. So I looked at their cast, Trisha Herberger, MissClick, Swiftor, but eventually came across another cast member named Blessiousplays, who had posted an excited screenshot of the fact that he was on the front page of IMDB with Crown. Crown payed for top-of-the-page ad space, on IMDB; that explains all the viewers. But that doesn't explain the money. So I dug more.
I looked to the celebrities Crown has featured in their channel trailer, big names such as Trevor Noah, Tpain, but I finally found another lead when I looked into an old youtuber I used to watch, iijerichoii, who was also featured. Searching for Jericho and Crown, pulled up a social media page called "Hit Command" that displayed Jericho, and even more importantly crown. Looking up Hit Command, brought me to the landing page of Red Light Management, a record label that manages Dave Matthews Band, Chris Stapleton, Lionel Richie ect. and their mission statement about getting into the gaming space with Hit Command. THAT then explains the money (or at least most of what I'm willing to look into at this point).
I don't think its all that bad to feature large production content on twitch. It pushes the platform forward. But what is unbearable is seeing attempts like Crown, where even if they are talking about something interesting like Skyward Sword Lore on a big screen, they are so blatantly on twitch to cash in and cash out. As noted on the same Red Light Management page, "We created a vehicle to drive a new audience and showcase new music - William Norris, CEO of Red Light Management.
Big companies certainly seem to be finding BIGGER and BIGGER ways to try to capitalize on the twitch revenue model, but what is even worse, in my opinion, is when they skip their way to the top; when they try to establish themselves as a channel that is 'all about , "Twitch and chat and positive vibes" when in reality it started with millions, and front-page ads.
