(I have a galaxy zflip4) I was outside Walmart and finished using my phone. I didn't put it in my purse. (It was a snall purse. I don't think i had enough room and i don't believe my pants had pockets.) I thought I had a good grip on it, but when I got out of my car, I ended up dropping it. (I tripped a bit getting out of the car). And it landed screen first on the ground😐. There's an indent in the screen with like a mini Crack but unfortunately a black spot with a purple line. Unfortunately, I'm a repeated offender. This is unfortunately around my 4th or 5th time messing up the digital screen of this phone. I just tried to peel of the screen protector and when I do so, the screen that's affected is a light green, but I can kinda 'wipe it off' by adding pressure to it. I plan on filing a claim (again. Thank the lord for accidental drop protection but dang to my clumsiness) I plan on also looking some up, but is there anyone who's like me and mastered how to protect their phone?😭

Hello! Wilbur has slowly been leash and harness training, and now he has started to enjoy mini hikes behind our complex in his backpack.
We always go early morning or late evening to avoid people/dogs and high temperatures, but even so I've been reading that pale cats can get sunburned, and was wondering if any of you have had experience with this.
As you can see, Wilbur has particularly large ears that have always been naturally quite pink (it's how he got his name!), but I'm worried they will burn easily because they have such a light coating of fur on them. But the research on sunblock for cats seems complicated, and I don't want to put anything on him that could make him sick.
I'm thinking of maybe just smoothing a little bit of coconut oil on them before we go out on sunny days, just as a natural barrier?
Basically, just wondering if any cream/flame owners have had issues with sunburns, or if you have tried a cat sunscreen/other solutions!

I’ve needed to replace most of my wardrobe this year after illness totally changed my body. I’m trying to buy fewer things and wear them more often—more like a one-bag approach to life. I really want to find merino tops but don’t want to invest in the price or even one when I don’t see anything on the market to fit my body.
I’m 5’2” and tees that fall to the hip on regular models will come down to my bum. I dislike having to tuck in shirts, especially when they’re so long, because too much fabric bunches around my waist and hips and makes me look bigger than I am. I’ve been quite pleased with all of the “cropped,” “mini,” and “baby” tees that I can just size up/down and look normal in (but I’m not at an age for midriff-baring and don’t love showing my upper arms where I’ve lost all muscle tone).
I’ve searched all the regular merino places I know of, and none seems to make a shorter or boxier tee. Icebreaker and Smartwool stocked limited crops last year that seem to all be sold out. Does anyone know of merino tees that come in petite cuts, cropped tees, or shorter, boxier styles?
(I’ve thought about something like Wool& dresses, but my legs rarely see the light of day and I usually get swallowed up by longer dresses. Buying dresses would require leggings for under the dresses, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of keeping a smaller wardrobe.). I’m in the U.S. but will buy anywhere that will ship to me. Thank you!

Hello all, this is a post inspired by u/Missile_Sandwich and their post: https://www.reddit.com/PrimarchGFs/comments/1d65l73/he_wont_last_long/ which gave me the idea of asking you all these questions in regards to the female Primarchs getting pregnant. So please feel free to pick one or multiple Primarchs and think of:

How would the Primarchs react to learning they are pregnant?
How would everyone else (Their Legion, The Emperor, Etc.) react to learning they are pregnant?
How bad would their mood swings/cravings be?
How long would it take the Apothecaries to heal their SOs hips?
How would they handle learning they are having more than one child, such as twins or triplets?
What kind of parent would they end up being to the child?

To start us off, I will give my own take on these in regards to Kassandra Kurze being the one pregnant.

Shock. Complete and utter dumbfounded shock as they wonder if their Vox devices are malfunctioning, or if something is wrong with their ears as they process the fact that Kassandra, The Night Haunter, is the first of their number to be with child.

They then feel something akin to respect to Kassandra's Beacon for the sheer balls it takes to do what they have done, though it is also mixed no small amount of pity as they realize just what form of hell said Beacon is going to endure not only over the course of her pregnancy, but also afterwards.
That is the moment they also realize that they will be Aunts, which makes them feel rather complicated feelings, namely a mixture of happiness at having a natural born niece or nephew along with the dread of just what form of hell a child born to Kassandra Kurze will raise over the course of their life.
A more detailed answer is:
Aurelia prays for the sake of the universe, she then decides that she will not let her sister be the only one pregnant as she sets off to make Slaanesh take notes on what she does to her Little Light.
Magna tries to scry into the future to see how fucked everyone is, she gives up eventually and decides that she will fortify the hell out of Prospero and then try and one up her sister.
Fulgrim...Fulgrim...Yeah she is not going to take that lying down. Her Muse is likely not going to be leaving her chambers for several weeks...or months as she also makes Slaanesh wonder how the hell she is not one of her Daemonettes.
She also paints a series of apocalyptic portraits inspired by the mental images that run through her mind when she wonders what her nieces/nephews will do, during the moments where she needs to let her Muse take a breather.
Freya, after she is done drinking herself into a stupor to try and forget the news along with her legion, the entire planet they are on joining in as they all try and wake up from what must surely be a nightmare, only to realize it is not a nightmare and that they are in fact in a timeline where the Night Haunter will have children.
She also decides that fuck it, she is not letting her sister be the only one to bring new additions to their family, something her Slayer is stuck helping her with as Freya shows just how feral she can be when it comes to intercourse in pursuit of breeding.
Atlanta...it is one of the few times the Nails seem to malfunction as she is able to feel genuine shock, unease, and a looming sense of horror at what may happen to the universe as she holds her Rose like a teddy bear to try and keep the nightmares away when she is not breaking both their hips and the bed.
The Twins are running around trying to make sure that their lover and them will be safe, failsafe after failsafe being prepared in case they need to vanish, all while taking turns with their own lover, not quite certain why they want a child, but knowing that they do.
Lion is busy making sure her Legion and their base are as prepared and fortified as possible, the training of both her Squire and her Legion is taken to a new level as they try to make ready for the approaching storm that a Mini Kassandra could bring.
Does she want a child of her own? Maybe, but that can take a back seat till she is certain that they will survive the coming storm.
Petra and her Assistant are currently building a planet sized fortress with the Iron Warriors, their shared horror uniting them in making the most fortified position in the galaxy as they layer trap after trap and wall after wall in the hopes of creating something to serve as their hiding place.
The Lady of Iron may feel jealous of her sister and have her own desire for a child now, but she wants a safe place to hide within first.
Sanguinia is happy for her sister, she is also stockpiling every singly slate and scroll she can find on psychology to make sure the child does not become like their mother, even as she tries to help Kassandra cope with the news.
She is torn between wanting a child of her own, and not doing so out of fear of them inheriting her curse and being condemned due to it, though said fear has not stopped her from taking her lover as much as she can.
Ferra has begun to build up a stockpile of power armor and weapons as she tries to make certain they can weather the storm, her Iron Heart having to reign her in and keep her from working herself to death as she designs dreadnought sized suits of armor to hide away with her lover within, any desire for a child pushed aside till she feels they are safe.
Cora has begun trying to find any form of stealth technology that can remove her and her Nightingale from the physical world, or at the very least the most well hidden planet that she can, so that they will have a safe place to hide away on.
Once she finds such a place, then she can try and have a child of her own, but that can wait for when they find a means of cloaking the entire planet.
Hestia has not left her forge since she heard the news, at first it was to make some gifts for her coming nieces/nephews, then, once they were done, it became a matter of creating the most powerful armor and arms that she can, her legion having joined in to make certain they will not be caught unprepared.
She has also been putting the Apothecaries through their paces due to how many times her Wyrmheart has had their spine and pelvis shattered.
Hathor has spent her time after learning the news dealing with the sheer influx of diplomats from various segmentums that have come to beg asylum and peace with the Imperium, her and Juno, along with their Consort and Centurion, having been so swamped with their work of ordering these seemingly unending additions they have had no time to even think of children of their own.
Morrigan and her Lily have begun contemplating ways of vanishing from the Imperium even as the Death Guard try and create some form of chemical that will repel miniature Kurze's, the intimacy between Morrigan and her Lily being more to deal with the stress than a desire for children, though she would not complain.
Alakhai has begun building the fastest ships she can conceive of, her legion pitching in to insure that if it comes to it they can hotfoot it from one end of the galaxy to another without the need for going through the warp.
Her Whirlwind has also been dealing with stress relief duty, along with the Primarch's growing desire for children of her own.
Regalia has begun making sure that the fortress of her Legions world will be genuinely impregnable, not even an ant shall be able to enter the walls of it without setting off enough alarms to wake half the galaxy, her lover having guided the legion to trap every single inch of it that they can as the labyrinthian fortress rises.
She can deal with any thought of children once she has made certain her home cannot be breached...and when she learns where they come from.

The Night Lords reaction is a mixture of awe, shock, and horror as they realize that by some form of Warp Fuckery there is a very real chance of there being multiple miniature versions of their mother running around the ship at one point in the near future.

They also have taken to saluting the Beacon every time they see them, along with having severely stepped up security around them in fear of what would happen should anything happen to them.
The Emperor and Malcador share the same reaction, they both pause in what they are doing and share a single look of genuine horror as they begin to make their own plans to try and mitigate the damage that is likely to occur.
The Four have ceased their squabbling and begun to fortify their domains, Nurgle has risen walls of miasma and plague that could melt flesh around his Garden even as he works to make more to act as a shield against the nightmare to come.
Slaanesh, between her notetaking, has begun to make certain that her rings cannot be breached, her daemons having been put to work erecting traps and fortifications wherever they can, along with seducing more and more to act as meat shields or offerings to keep the storm at bay.
Tzeentch has begun to make plan after plan to survive, his Impossible Fortress having grown more and more labyrinthian as he tries to see a future where he will survive the the potential nightmare to come, though such a thing seems dimmer and dimmer with each day.
Khorne has begun to ready his armies, his worlds are becoming more and more fortified as his daemons sharpen their fangs and claws and swords upon one another such that they will be able to meet the threat head on in what will likely be the most blood-soaked clash in history.
And in the dark, Malice has begun to plan and scheme...its laughter making the Four hurry in their efforts of fortifications.

Yes...Just yes. Kassandra switches from depressed sobbing and wailing over the slightest of things, to tearing apart her own Legion with her bare hands over that same matter, the Night Lords having since began to pray day and night that their legion survives the pregnancy.

As for her cravings...I will not elaborate, just know that it is going to be...interesting.

They nearly gave up. The Apothecaries of the Night Lords nearly gave up on trying to heal the Beacon before they realized that without them to help take the edge off of her stress and reign her in, their mother would likely slaughter most of the galaxy before the child arrives.

And so after several days, they manage to heal them and send them off as a sacrificial lamb with salutes and pats on their shoulder.

That is the moment that the Galaxy froze, as from the Ruinous Powers of the Four, to the Emperor, to the Aeldari seers, feel nothing but sheer terror as they all switch gears to panic mode, an unofficial truce forming as all try and fortify themselves.

The Night Lords have gone from being the most feared legion, to being the most pitied in the galaxy as all learn just how fucked they are, something that they genuinely agree with.

Helicopter parent on steroids. She will not let her child walk the same path as her, there will not be another Night Haunter, not so long as she draws breath, she will make certain that they never endure what she did on Nostromo, no matter the cost.

She will flay entire star systems to scare all others into horrified compliance, even as she spends her nights rubbing her stomach with tears in her eyes, whispering how she will always protect her child, and how they will never need to know fear so long as she lives.
That is what I have, how about all of you?

Upgraded my Ender 3 from an SKR mini E3 V1.2 to a V3.0
I installed the V3 board, powered it up and it "worked" with the default firmware. (Turned on, could move each axis) Didnt test homing
The old board was setup to use the BL Touch for Z Homing and bed leveling.
I tried the BTT example firmware (for this new board) and the LCD screen is blank (no text on screen) and the BL Touch isnt lighting up.
I changed out the cable so the BL Touch is using the built in BLTouch port, still nothing. (no bltouch lights, no text on screen)
Any ideas/help?

Recently looking into lighting software (not using them professionally - just as a hobby):
- Eos Software (requirements here): for ultra settings, it recommends Dual Core CPU 2.5GHz/Geekbench CPU rating 900+, 4GB RAM, GPU Geekbench OpenCL rating 6000+
- grandMA3 onPC (requirements here): it recommends 16GB RAM, 4096MB VRAM (4GB..?) *the recommendations for grandMA2 onPC is much lower so I guess I'll just use MA3 as the standard...
Davinci Resolve...? (I used it heavily for one semester previously, and while I can see myself very occasionally editing a video, I don't think I would use it often, nor as intensely as before.)

Purchase country? Near Micro Center? - Hong Kong. (not near Micro Center) I can get things from Amazon (and Taobao if needed), and there are offline locations where I can get hardware.
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) - No need
Budget range? (Include tax considerations) - Actual budget around 1500USD, but if it's justified, I'm willing to spend up to ~1900USD.
WiFi or wired connection? - Will need WiFi and maybe Bluetooth, but I should probably buy an adapter for Bluetooth.
Size/noise constraints? - Size: Preferably smaller and compact, but I understand that Mini-ITX stuff is more expensive and limited, so I've been trying to look for smaller MATX cases in hopes that parts for it would be cheaper. (Actually looking at the Lian Li & Dan Cases A3 because it came up on my YouTube home page) If there's a decent Mini-ITX build within the price range though, I wouldn't mind.
-Noise: Preferably quieter, but there isn't a really hard requirement for that because I'm most likely going to put it under my desk.
Cololighting preferences? - I want to go for a clean/inconspicuous look, so I don't need the RGB nor the glass side panels. Matte black is nice. But if the price for the RGB counterpart is really similar or even cheaper, I don't mind having some RGB parts.
Any other specific needs? - It's my first time building a PC, so I'd like it if the parts (mostly the case I guess?) are beginner-friendly.

I'm leaning towards air cooling, but at the same time I'm not quite sure if air coolers would fit in smaller form factor cases as a lot of the small builds I've seen around the internet use AIOs.
Currently considering an Intel i5-14600KF, but I see that AutoCAD's website recommends i7 or higher... but I'm not sure if an i7 would work within my budget. Could I get away with the i5, or should I switch to the 14th gen i7? Or maybe an older gen i7 would work? I believe that Fusion 360 depends on single core performance and not multi-core/GPU, so I guess that needs to be taken into consideration..
For the GPU, I'm considering the RTX 4070 Super. I'm not sure if going for the 4070 Ti (not Ti Super) would be worth my money. To be fair, I don't think I need ray tracing, so I am not sure if Nvidia is worth it.
I am not familiar with AMD, but I'm open to AMD recommendations if you think it's the better choice over Intel/Nvidia, since AMD is usually the more budget-friendly choice from what I've gathered.

2024.06.02 17:04 OrigamiLoveLetter New growth suddenly stunted

Posted in beginner questions too but seeing if this gets more visibility. I got this phalaenopsis from the grocery store ~3 weeks ago. It had a lot of flowers already, and four buds that were going to come to bloom. Two of the buds did open up over time, but I've noticed now that the remaining two have turned yellow, dry, and wilty. The little care card on it said to water 1-2 ounces every week, so I've done two mini-icecubes each week since they're roughly an ounce each. I also got the miracle-gro orchid feed mister and have been spraying the leaves and roots (not flowers) with that when I add the ice cubes. I know since this is brand new from the store there's likely a ball of moss in there so I don't want to oversaturate and start off with root rot.
I'm also thinking it looks like one of the leaves here has a tinge of yellow to it? Could be a trick of the light. It's the leaf directly above the broken one (already bent when I bought it).
Thoughts on what caused these two buds to stop growing? Am I watering enough/too much? I definitely have a black thumb but I really want this one to stay alive.
(I haven't assessed the roots inside the pot at all, was going to remix/repot after the blooms all fall. I'll get orchid-specific mix/bark and I already have an orchid pot with a bunch of holes in it.) I tried to see if there's a clear container inside the pot but idk if it's just heavy, or stuck to each other, or if there isn't one at all, but I couldn't seem to get it to lift out)
Some of these roots are wild but I know they like to stretch out in general so I figured that was okay? The one by the broken leaf definitely looks thirsty though; moreso than the other sprawling ones, anyway.

2024.06.02 16:44 Demoiselle_D-Ys Random Harvest (1942) - double whammy!

So after watching "The Ghost and Mrs Muir" (thanks to everyone who followed up on my mini review of that excellent movie with great comments and additional information) I made a slight error of judgement perhaps in following it up with another movie on my watchlist earlier today - "Random Harvest" with Greer Garson and Ronald Colman.
It was another very interesting watch with similar themes. Unfortunately"Random Harvest" was just as harrowing emotionally, but lacked the lashings of light humour and wry wit that balanced out the darker aspects of "The Ghost and Mrs Muir". Again, I was a bit of a mess - to say the least - as the last segment of the film unfolded, especially as it looked increasingly unlikely that a happy ending was on the cards. The actual ending was a curious mixture that I won't delve into too deeply here but I certainly found the ambiguity troubling to say the least, even if there was some satisfaction involved.
I was surprised to find such deep and dark psychological machinations at the heart of these two classic movies. They evoked very powerful emotional reactions from me and I wonder now how much more of this kind of thing I am likely to find if I continue to explore. I'm not saying I'm a glutton for punishment, but I do appreciate the potential benefits of a good dose of catharsis...although I might have had enough for the time being, and perhaps ought to take a break from this kind of thing at least for a bit. Neverthless, recommendations for anything in a similar vein are warmly welcome.
To get back to "Random Harvest", it was a polished production that combined a smooth narrative in parts with quite shocking and sudden twists at key points, quite an effective way to keep the story moving along without too much exposition. I thought Greer Garson rather adorable in her role, even if her character was perhaps a little too stoic under the circumstances. Still, stiff upper lip and all that, maybe people really just were built of sterner stuff in those days after all. Ronald Colman also plays a good part and employed a mean "thousand yard stare" to good effect in a number of scenes.
While I thought the resolution to "The Ghost and Mrs Muir" was just about perfect, the ending to "Random Harvest" was far more unsettling. Would love to hear any other thoughts and views on this one too!

2024.06.02 16:26 AnarchistSock Where To Find Film Parts?

Hey all, I recently had this part fall off of my Fujifilm cardia mini tiara (circled in black) and was unable to find it. I cannot for the life of me find a replacement part. I took a roll atter the part fell off and it was filled with light leaks. I flew internationally with the film and it went through the big harsh scanners around 4 times because they wouldn't hand check it. Wasn't sure if the scanners ruined the film and it isn't the camera itself? But i'm sure it is the camera and not the scanners since it was under 800. I believe it was Kodak 400. If I can't find the part, could I just duct tape it? Or what else can I do to prevent the light leaks? Everything else works and I absolutely love this camera so I need to fix it, I won't get rid of it. I attached a photo of the part that I am needing/fell of and an example photo of the light leaks I had. Thanks all.

2024.06.02 16:10 proudy202 Blowing turn signal fuses.

TLDR: Swapped to a mini speedo and removed check engine and fuel pump lights and now turn signal fuse keeps blowing.
I had a busy day yesterday tearing the front end of my 2010 Bonneville T100 apart, the previous owner had a badly sprayed none original head lamp in matte black and I wanted to swap in a chrome one, some thruxton ears fitted upside down to lower the headlamp and a mini speedo, whilst I was in there I relocated the horn to under the tank and relocated the rectifier to the original horn spot. I also replaced the fuel filter.
Checked everything and all seemed fine, today the bike keeps blowing the turn signal fuse.
For info I have LED turn signals and an LED tail light, I have had these on since last October including diodes wired into the cluster and an led relay to prevent hyper blink, I’ve had no issues until now.
I did the wiring for the new Speedo and wondered if that was causing it, to test I disconnected the plug and tried again still blew the fuse, it does it either with left or right signals.
The only other electrical thing I have changed is the check engine and fuel pump lights are currently not wired in whilst I decided on what route I want to take.
Any ideas?
