First time watercooling: am I missing something on my setup ?

2022.12.28 00:36 -Leelith- First time watercooling: am I missing something on my setup ?

I have in the plans to build the following gaming pc:
In a Corsair 7000D white case.For cooling, I have the following parts in mind:Rads, I got 2:
Vents: I wanted to get some Arctic 120mm vents, but it's almost impossible to found them (or you have to pay a ridiculous price), so instead I went for Cooler Master Sickleflow 120mm PWM RGB white edition.
Pomp: HEATKILLER Tube 150 D5 MPLiquid: Mayhems X1 UV Blue 1For CPU, I choose the Thermaltake Pacific MX2 Ultra CPU Waterblock.
For GPU, I'm only aware of Bykski (which is the one I'm planing to go with - I will paint it in white) and EK having watercooling for the MSI Suprim X 4080 (any other recommendations are welcome). If I go with the Bykski waterblock, I'm planning to get the block thermometer too (just because I found it cool).
And most important: I got a EK-Loop leak tester to ensure everything is properly sealed.
For tubbing: I went for satin titanium tubes from EK, they are absolutely stunning (but since this is my first time doing watercooling, I will do the first cuts into some standard plastique tubes so I don't mess up with the expensive ones).
For fittings, I ordered a bunch of those (all in white):
I picked a Bykski temperature and pressure gauge for the look and feel (I'm not sure this can provide information to control fan speed).
I initially wanted to get a Bykski temperature sensor to control the fans, but I have no clue if it's good enough for that.

Questions:

  1. Do you see anything wrong, or missing in my setup?
  2. Did I pick bad elements? (I want to avoid bad stuff - I got the budget so unless a radiator is costing 500 bucks, it should not be a problem).
  3. Should I get slightly more fittings, just to be sure to not run out in the middle of the building process?
  4. Is the Bykski temperature sensor good?
  5. Currently I don't have any fan controls (I'm going to have 16 fans). I was planning to get a Corsair controler (I don't know which one is the best). Is it good, or should I got a different one? Since I got plenty of fans, I don't think there's one controler that will allow me to control 16 fans. Can fan controlers be “daisy chaining"? From this thread, it looks like Aquacomputer makes very good temp sensor + controler combo. Are they really that good?
  6. Is there some monitor device that shutdown the system in case the liquid pressures drops, or some kind of emergency action to avoid damage (even if it would be hard).
  7. Any feedback on Bykski and EK waterblocks for the MSI Suprim X RTX 4080 ? Or any other advice?
It's a long time I haven't build a gaming PC, but now that my kid is getting bigger I can finally get some time to play, and I really want to do a cool looking setup.
Thanks!

Need Help! v2.0 lid does not sit flush like v1.1
I've been trying everything outside of shaving down the fan to get the top lid to sit flush. No screws were introduced yet as shown in the photos.
Off by a millimeter. It would be offset more if I placed the second A12x25 fan in.
Equipped with XSPC TX240 and Noctua A12x25
XSPC TX240 Radiator measured at 19.5mm, got extremely lucky!
Total height of the stack is 43mm, where the fan is 23.5mm with no anti-vibrational pads.
I tried reversing the order (rad on fan) which did not work. Closing the lid is remarkably unfeasible.
The rad does not fit into the rails of the lid, only fans could.
I double checked the short brackets to make sure they're not bent beyond 90 degrees. They're not.
I was told v2.0 improved the clearance at 46mm for full 25mm fans with the TX240 rad. I believe this is might be a misconception. I measured the height from the strut to the very top of the case; this is indeed 46mm. This does not however account for the 1mm thickness at the lid's grill, cutting down to 45mm in clearance. The short bracket itself takes off another millimeter. Even without the brackets, the motherboard will not spare any space. It's really a clearance of 44mm.
So, it should work... right? Despite the total height of the rad and fan at 43mm, it simply does not want to close completely!
I have seen many posts here where they have the TX240 and full 25mm fans, like u/China_NZ's post. But this is not an elegant solution by forcing the rad into the lid. I don't want to leave scratch marks on my rad. u/vaulics's build is amazing as well. How is he doing this?!!?
I don't know what I'm missing or doing wrong.
For anybody who's wondering, I'm running my eVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra outside the case. It does not fit inside because of the massive Optimus passive backplate, conflicting with the bottom strut that supports the motherboard. Had to take off the Optimus water block because it was too damn BIG. My mistake since now I can't even put in the Alphacool Eisstation DC-LT Reservoir.
