Note: - quite easy fight, they could have added the new puddles gimmick or included Zcorpion to make it a bit tougher on Extra-hot - very interesting and fun look-alike fight given the huge number of special zombies with great abilities, but the lack of Jams referenced in the lvl file make most of them useless - Very long range attackers are viable: TG or Pyre Vine (if lvl 5 at least). Other melee plants such as Pokra, hbl, Ice-shroom, Bamboo Spartan, Wasabi Whip... aren't useful because they can't reach Zomboss on Extra-hot due to the extra Mold colonies lane (C6).

Note: - quite easy fight, they could have added the new puddles gimmick or included Zcorpion to make it a bit tougher on Extra-hot - very interesting and fun look-alike fight given the huge number of special zombies with great abilities, but the lack of Jams referenced in the lvl file make most of them useless - Very long range attackers are viable: TG or Pyre Vine (if lvl 5 at least). Other melee plants such as Pokra, hbl, Ice-shroom, Bamboo Spartan, Wasabi Whip... aren't useful because they can't reach Zomboss on Extra-hot due to the extra Mold colonies lane (C6).

Hey new here but have decent experience in emulation, but recently getting back into things with a budget pc I got through school and just have a couple hardware questions. I no longer need to the PC for school so my plan is to set it up to my living room tv just to run emulation and stream sports/movies.

- I’m under the influence that Xbox 360 games require more extensive hardware then say ps3, wii and below? If so what kind of cpu/gpu would you say I need to run 360 games at least as good as the 360 could? (Currently has a 1660 super with some sort of i5 processor(pc is a repurposed hp elitedesk)
- My pc came with a cheap little Bluetooth usb dongle. I can connect my Xbox one remote to it but the inputs are so slow it’s completely unusable. Does anyone have a Bluetooth/wifi pcie card that the Xbox controller works fine with? Im aware Microsoft makes an adapter but it’s twice the price of some of the expansion cards I’m seeing, plus I want to upgrade to a dual band wifi receiver as my current is a usb one that only connects to 2.4hz.
- My pc also has a small SSD and a 3TB HDD. It’s been a while so this might be a dumb question but I won’t have a problem storing ROMs on the disk drive while windows and the emulator are stored to the ssd? Or do the emulator and rom have to be stored on the same drive?

I downloaded a mod for Half-Life 2 from the website ModDB and used BitTorrent to torrent it. This was my first ever time using a torrenter. I move the mod to the directory it needs to go into, go into the files and attempt to open the installer. Upon doing so I get two popups: one of them looks like an actual Windows popup, warning me that “Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software.” The other was from RAV Endpoint Protection, an antivirus which I don’t remember installing, saying that a suspicious process had been detected and blocked. I was worried by both of these for different reasons, so I went to my settings and used Windows Defender to do a quick scan of all my files. It told me that there were no threats detected. I’m now worried about using my PC because I can’t tell if I have a virus or not. For all I know, RAV could be the virus it claims to have blocked. What do I do?

As title says, while playing PS2 Classics, instaled through .PKG files, they crash my console after about five minutes, and then after reboot the fans go berserk and sound like a jet engine for about a minute

The relationship has been a rollercoaster of abuse both physical and emotional directed towards me.
But I still love her. She is the best partner I’ve ever had and I don’t think I’ll be able to find another person like her.
Life doesn’t look very happy in the future for me, I’m not sure what else to do besides suicide. I don’t want to be around for a life without her or my career. I’m lost

Foreword: First of all thanks for having a positive community here. I am from the far east so apologies for my poor use of English in advance. I hold about 14.8k shares myself and believe this is gonna be a long war. So I guess it’s wise for us to understand a bit on what (or who) we are actually investing in. Treat it as a casual read if you wish. This post might be an unpopular opinion. Also most of contents below are researched on Chinese websites. I am merely a translator and this is not an investment advice at all. Also please point it out if any of the contents are inaccurate.
TLDR: YT Jia doesn’t have a good reputation here with his previous business (LeTV) in China. FFIE’s main selling point now is that they are the only Chinese EV manufacturer based in the US. Few days ago Biden imposed a 100% tariff (up from 25%) on EVs from China, and it might be possible that Chinese EV manufacturers will seek collaboration with FFIE to bypass the tariff.
Yueting Jia (YT Jia) is a businessman from China. He was the founder of LeTV in China in the 2000s.
LeTV first started as an online video sharing platform in 2005 and later on streams movies, TV programs and even livestreams sports events (Just imagine it was the Youtube and Netflix of China, but not as successful). LeTV was listed in China in 2010 and declared that they already achieved breakeven back in 2008.
In mid 2010s LeTV stated their intentions of building EVs in China and the US. Faraday Future was founded in 2014 by YT Jia and he left LeTV (but still the business owner I believe) and physically left China (and never returned) in July 2017 to focus on the EV business (he claimed). LeTV was in deep financial troubles and media start reporting in Oct 2017 that the IPO in 2010 was a financial fraud (No way that the company was breaking even back then).
He was on the national debtor blacklist in Dec 2017 as he ‘escaped’ China and left all his debts behind. All assets were froze by the CCP government. He received a CNY 241M fine in 2021 for financial fraud from 2007-2016 at LeTV.
Meanwhile in the US, FFIE and Jia himself weren’t doing any better. FFIE was originally backed by Chinese real estate conglomerate Evergrande in 2018 (for around USD $700M). The first payment of USD $500M was spent (or disappeared) without any explanation or justification to Evergrande, and they brought Jia to court for the lack of financial transparency in FFIE. After the court case, the court froze Jia’s assets and stakes in FFIE and he personally filed bankruptcy in 2019.
Fast forward to 2024, Jia filed a court case against his former employee Lei Ding. Ding joined the EV segment of LeTV back in 2014 and followed Jia to FFIE in 2015. He left in 2017 and set up his own EV company (HiPhi) in China. HiPhi targets the high end Chinese EV market with car models selling at CNY 600k-800k price points. They were actually sensational in China and sold around 10,000 cars in a few years time, but eventually stopped production in 2024 due to lack of funding.
Jia sues Ding in 2024 for stealing FFIE’s intellectual property and business confidential information to use on HiPhi EV products. What I wanted to point out here, is that if FFIE really takes off with our support and Jia isn’t a scam at all, their products may actually look like HiPhi. Search The Faraday Future FF91 on Youtube channel ’Vehicle Virgins’ and Hiphi X on ‘carwow’.
Recently Jia starts livestreaming on his social media platforms, mainly on commenting his competitors (e.g. the highly successful Xiaomi SU7 EV as well as the HiPhi cases). Rumours believed that he wants to leverage on his personal reputation to generate extra income from livestreaming, as well as media exposure for FFIE to collaborate with Chinese EV manufacturers in future.

TLDR: YT Jia doesn’t have a good reputation here with his previous business (LeTV) in China. FFIE’s main selling point now is that they are the only Chinese EV manufacturer based in the US. Few days ago Biden imposed a 100% tariff (up from 25%) on EVs from China, and it might be possible that Chinese EV manufacturers will seek collaboration with FFIE to bypass the tariff.
Yueting Jia (YT Jia) is a businessman from China. He was the founder of LeTV in China in the 2000s.
LeTV first started as an online video sharing platform in 2005 and later on streams movies, TV programs and even livestreams sports events (Just imagine it was the Youtube and Netflix of China, but not as successful). LeTV was listed in China in 2010 and declared that they already achieved breakeven back in 2008.
In mid 2010s LeTV stated their intentions of building EVs in China and the US. Faraday Future was founded in 2014 by YT Jia and he left LeTV (but still the business owner I believe) and physically left China (and never returned) in July 2017 to focus on the EV business (he claimed). LeTV was in deep financial troubles and media start reporting in Oct 2017 that the IPO in 2010 was a financial fraud (No way that the company was breaking even back then).
He was on the national debtor blacklist in Dec 2017 as he ‘escaped’ China and left all his debts behind. All assets were froze by the CCP government. He received a CNY 241M fine in 2021 for financial fraud from 2007-2016 at LeTV.
Meanwhile in the US, FFIE and Jia himself weren’t doing any better. FFIE was originally backed by Chinese real estate conglomerate Evergrande in 2018 (for around USD $700M). The first payment of USD $500M was spent (or disappeared) without any explanation or justification to Evergrande, and they brought Jia to court for the lack of financial transparency in FFIE. After the court case, the court froze Jia’s assets and stakes in FFIE and he personally filed bankruptcy in 2019.
Fast forward to 2024, Jia filed a court case against his former employee Lei Ding. Ding joined the EV segment of LeTV back in 2014 and followed Jia to FFIE in 2015. He left in 2017 and set up his own EV company (HiPhi) in China. HiPhi targets the high end Chinese EV market with car models selling at CNY 600k-800k price points. They were actually sensational in China and sold around 10,000 cars in a few years time, but eventually stopped production in 2024 due to lack of funding.
Jia sues Ding in 2024 for stealing FFIE’s intellectual property and business confidential information to use on HiPhi EV products. What I wanted to point out here, is that if FFIE really takes off with our support and Jia isn’t a scam at all, their products may actually look like HiPhi. Search The Faraday Future FF91 on Youtube channel ’Vehicle Virgins’ and Hiphi X on ‘carwow’.
Recently Jia starts livestreaming on his social media platforms, mainly on commenting his competitors (e.g. the highly successful Xiaomi SU7 EV as well as the HiPhi cases). Rumours believed that he wants to leverage on his personal reputation to generate extra income from livestreaming, as well as media exposure for FFIE to collaborate with Chinese EV manufacturers in future.

I am currently traveling in Europe and left the renters of my duplex with all the resources they would need in my absence. One day in and I get a text from one of them saying there is an emergency and the police are involved. I call to see what’s going on and here is the situation:
Renter #2 gets drunk and is pacing around the property. He breaks into renter number one’s car and then proceeds to pound on his door only to threaten him with a knife for some reason. Thankfully the confrontation didn’t go any further and he backed off. Cops were then called and he was arrested. Renter #1 is to appear in front of a judge soon and renter #2 is filing a protection order.
This is my last day for the week where I will have consistent service. In your opinion, what would be my best actions moving forward and what rights do I have in these circumstances if I need to pursue eviction?

Two policemen supposedly deployed to Zamboanga who were instead serving as bodyguards to a Chinese national were arrested after an altercation inside an exclusive subdivision in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
According to police, the two suspects were members of the Philippine National Police - Special Action Force ( PNP-SAF) who admitted they were working as personal bodyguards of a Chinese national residing in a subdivision in the Ayala Alabang area.
The two cops reportedly got into a heated argument that led to blows, with one of them sustaining wounds on his forehead.
The two men — a police corporal and a patrolman — were detained after being reported to authorities by residents that included Muntinlupa City Mayor Rozzano Rufino “Ruffy” Biazon. The incident was circulated in an online group chat of residents where the mayor is a part of.
“Nagkaroon yata sila ng altercation amongst themselves. Pareho silang empleyado ng naninirahan sa bahay, and then noong nagkatakbuhan, ‘yung isa yata pumasok sa ibang bahay so kaya natakot siyempre ‘yung residente roon,” Biazon said in an exclusive report on GMA’s 24 Oras Weekend on Sunday.

The two men are now detained at the Muntinlupa City Police Station.
Biazon also said the local government will seek assistance to verify if the employer of the two policemen is connected to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGOs).
"Baka related din sa purely illegal activities. 'Yun din ang gusto naming malaman," the mayor said.

“Sa ngayon po ay under investigation sa aming opisina itong dalawang PNP member, so as of now iyon ang aming mako-confirm, and sila ay members ng support unit, support unit po ng PNP,” said Muntinlupa Police Investigation and Detective Management Section chief Police Captain Riza Soledad.

For his part, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) head P/Major General Jose Melencio Nartatez said police members serving for private individuals should first secure the approval of the Chief PNP.
“We have a unit in the Philippine National Police, that is the PNP Security Group, PSPG. In this PSPG, sila ‘yung nagbibigay ng protective custody sa ating mga whether civilian or VIP security wherein itong binibigyan nila ng security, of course, ay mayroong threat in their lives,” he said.

In her filing, Breaud admits to taking a picture of Cantrell but says the allegations of stalking and harassing the mayor over a two-year period are libelous and, at worst, a “miscalculated and misplaced effort” to prevent her from practicing free speech.
In court documents, Breaud states that she took a picture of Cantrell from her French Quarter balcony while the mayor was dining across the street with her now-former security officer, Jeffery Vappie.
Breaud argues that Cantrell’s attempts to “paint herself as a victim” to obtain the restraining order are egregious and an attempt to garner sympathy.
Breaud claims this sympathy led to an Orleans Civil Court judge granting Cantrell’s request for a restraining order last week, which she says should never have happened. In Cantrell’s filing, the mayor accuses Breaud of providing her photos to Fox 8 News for two years.
Fox 8 has stated that it has never received a photo directly from Breaud.
Breaud’s filing asserts that Cantrell or an appointed representative must appear in court on Monday to back up the mayor’s allegations against her. Breaud describes Cantrell’s claims as “inaccurate, baseless, and in some cases outright falsehoods.”
