So while I was looking around Torn, I somehow came across the Community page with links, etc. One was Marriage. It took me a few moments to realize that those were players who met, fell in love and got married in real life.
Touched because of this, and because I'm a total sap who is in love with love, I decided to peep two of the married person's pages.
They were both in a faction called The Drunk Tank. Both listed as 'fallen' and 'resting in peace'. The one married player is called Meow1 [1381836] and their spouse is called peteo66 [382485]
This is what was written on the 'how we met' part of the marriage area:
"Meow1 & peteo662011 - I met Meow1 [1381836] about a year and a half ago on Torn when she was just a little kitten. She came to visit the US in July 2010. We got along great. I moved to the UK in Dec 2010 and we were married on May 10th, 2011."
Y'all, when I looked up what 'fallen' and 'resting in peace' meant, I admit I got teary eyed. Both dead irl? From what I understand, those are verified passings, so it's not an in-game thing. I don't really have any thing else to say. Just wanted to .... I dunno. It just hit me hard. I wasn't expecting to see that. I was expecting to see two people, still active in the game. But last on 2000 some days ago. 7 years give or take. Guess I'm just curious if anyone knew them or knew of them. Fucking heartbreaking. yeah, I'm sad about 2 people I'll never know and never knew. The fact they met here and fell in love across the Ocean and got married was so fairy tale and I was all ready for a great story still going on. This is awful :(

Well that's it, another 38 league games down and we finish in 11th place. Even with the European football I don't think this is gonna be a season to look back on fondly.
Our league position flatters us, the truth is we've been absolutely dire since late last year and we've never really found form again because of it, injuries haven't helped at all but I think a good portion of the blame at this point should fall onto now former manager De Zerbi. The tactical stubbornness cost us a lot this season and his lack of defensive management really shone through with Caicedo to use as a crutch.
On the positives at least we made a decent account of ourselves in Europe, finishing top of what many people considered the group of death and defeated Roma although it meant nothing unfortunately after the first leg against them.
Transfers wise João Pedro had a great first season, although lacking composure in front of goal a lot of the time getting 20 goals is a big feat and something he can hopefully build on. Bart Verbruggen also showed his potential when given the opportunity to play but needs to be our #1 from next season. Unfortunately I don't think any of the other transfers particular impressed whatsoever, Baleba is raw but the potential is definitely there, Igor was a blunder in my eyes; never really saw the potential in him at Fiorentina and I think he's nothing more than an okay rotation option and when it comes to Fati, the less said the better.
Van Hecke impressed a lot even with the poor defense throughout the season, and should hopefully show that even more next season. Let's just hope we can keep hold of Groß
Overall a season to forget, but one to build upon with a new manager and hopefully a few new players so we can have a much better next season.

Heres my theory on the Stormveil corpse.
Its fully-grown Deathroot.
We get Deathroot as an item in-game but its also all over the world, especially where you find Tibia Mariners or in catacombs. All the mounds covered in eyes are Deathroot as well, some even mimic the inventory icon art, but larger.
Now these mounds are combining corpses with roots and rise to the surface to start raising the corpses and skeletons, and almost always form Godwyn's eyes and sometimes even his hair and face(crabs and pustules). You can see the start of this process in most catacombs, with bodies being combined and lifted in the boss rooms by roots.
If you look at the corpse under Stormveil it is surrounded in open graves, bone piles, and rat corpses while looking like it was once hidden by a tarp. I believe it didnt do this on its own, it was fed enough to spawn its own Ulcerated Tree Spirit (ulcerated from the bodies fed to it) and become fully-grown.
Who fed it and why? Godefroy and to create Grafting.
Godefroy is a part of The Golden Lineage (He is in the Golden Lineage evergaol and holds the Godfrey icon, the game is screaming this at us.) so what on earth could he have done to be locked up and erased from history?
Invent Grafting.
I think Godefroy is similar to Godrick in more way than one, i believe he was weak and sickly just like Godrick and he is supposed to be Godrick's dad and Godwyn's son.
This is what i think happened.
Godefroy was Godwyn's sickly son with little to no power, very similar to Godrick. He was given a castle far away from Leyndell where he could go, as a weak sickly demigod was likely a embarrassment to The Golden Lineage, Godefroy was likely mocked openly by most, again just like Godrick, for his weakness.
Then, suddenly, Godwyn the Golden was horrifically half-murdered on the Night of Black Knives, leaving Godefroy fatherless, weak, sickly, and a public laughing stock. Godwyn was then just thrown in the roots and became a Taboo subject, showing Godefroy that even the strongest and most beloved of demigods are disposable.
After some time, Godefroy would eventually visit Godwyn, seeing a horrifically twisted corpse (that likely much more resembled Godwyn back then) that still showed signs of life. It grew, it spread, and, probably most creepy of all to Godefroy, it stared. Seeing his dad in this state, after everything else, likely cemented his idea to rebel.
How could they let something like this happen to Godwyn the fucking Golden?
Godefroy would then take back a piece of Godwyn, maybe just to give him a grave or shrine in Stormveil he could visit easier. Unknown to him pieces of Godwyn spread Deathroot now.
This piece would keep growing though, eventually foricing Godefroy to hide it with a tarp and sparking his curiosity. Eventually the piece would start to resemble more of a body, growing a face, nose, and eyes, and Marika's Tits did this thing just keep staring. I think if u were constantly getting stared at by ur dads zombified corpse, youd likely remove the eyes.
He would then begin to experiment on the piece of Deathroot, feeding it bodies and watching how it would fuse them to continue its own growth. This gave Godefroy an idea. He would likely start small, maybe with a finger or simply a patch of skin, but eventually he would try to stick a piece of this dead flesh to himself, and saw it worked.
Grafting was born.
In secret, after Godefroy felt he had control, he would teach Godrick about grafting, but told him not to do it yet. Shortly after teaching Godrick, Godefroy's grafting became noticable and began turning heads.
Maybe someone asked a naive Godrick who told them, maybe someone scouted stormveil, but someone caught wind that Graftng was born of an ancient taboo, something the Golden Order now considered the root of all evil, Grafting was born of Godwyn, Prince of Death.
The second this was discovered Godefroy was locked away in a evergaol and erased from history, and Godrick, who was also considered guilty (maybe sins of the father, maybe he talked about grafting) was marked and fled Leyndel in disguise with Mimic Veil. The Leyndel Knight that caught Godefroy was sainted and likely given a gag order or maybe straight up killed, and was venerated in their own Hero Grave.
Godrick would then just hide in Stormveil and fully dive into Grafting, maybe even intentionally mimicing the way his father was Grafted to mock The Golden Order. I think his "BEAR WITNESS" line is more of a taunt to the Golden Order than asking for recognition. He did just tell his forefathers to watch him graft a dragon head.
The rest is in-game.
Theres still some questions, like whether Godrick or Godefroy participated in The Shattering, but i think this explains extremely well whats going on with Stormveil.
Also just throwin this in, the Thorns in Stormveil is Deathroot without dead bodies to cover it with flesh, look at normal deathroot tendrils and theres spikes coming out of what look like octopus suckers. The the thorns are basically the 'skeleton' of deathroot and dead bodies are its flesh.
The thorns are boring holes (mottling) in the castle trying to get at all the corpses Godrick stores for Grafting, and the thorns are removed from Stormveil regularly. You can see the lower part of the castle where the commoners stay is infested with thorns, but the higher parts where the Knights and Godrick stay, and the corpses are stored, are absolutely thorn-free. You can also find several gashes on the ground that look stitched or stapled up. The exiles are most likely the ones assigned to clear the thorns, so they all get infected by them. Everywhere there is mottling in the walls, there was once thorns that were burned or chopped away.
You can however find a single thorn branch in Godrick's boss room along the top of the eastern wall, somewhere unreachable, proving the thorns do reach this high in the castle, they just get removed.

Hello. The items: White Sign Soapstone, Cracked Red eye Orb, and Book of the Guilty.
I’ve equipped them but the item shows up as grey in the box, and if I try to use it then my character just makes this sort of “I don’t know” gesture and it doesn’t work.
I’m not hollow, by the way, and i’m fairly new to the game (I haven’t played any souls games before either) so maybe it’s something I need to find out about as I progress? I don’t know, but if anyone could help me that’d be appreciated (:

The party tries its best to ignore his antics, he rolled quite bad charisma (4) so demanded he learn sign language to nullify the penalty, i tell him he can get an interpetor but it would cost alot. he says okay, so i give him one, 16 charisma old man. He says NO he wants a hot women who can fight, i say your not gunna find a hot women with high charisma whos also combat trained and willing to join. He eventually wears me and the party down so we just go along with it and give him one for a pultry 500g. That session he was quite quiet which was unusual, and after i find out why. He spent his whole session drawing his OC Tugs, blatantly traceing the 1999 game sword of the berzerk, guts rage. and demands he be given a reward for it. i roll my eyes and says sure, if you get 1k upvotes you can have a free feat. mother fucker actually does it by spamming berzerk and dnd related subs, 5 different posts with the same art and slightly different title. what do i do? do i give him the feat and hope he shuts the fuck up? now he also wants xp for comments, upvotes and views? idk any advice would be appreciated-Woad (below is his"oc" art) |

I am currently only wearing for my left eye, moved from the smaller one to the scleral lenses and i can say it is a hugeeeeee game changer.
The only issue is when i am removing it - at the hospital when i was practicing removing it i barely had any problems but to be fair i was putting on my lens for a minute maximum but now i feel a slight twinge(??) and its a little sore and my eyes turn slightly red
it never felt this painful? its not a severe pain either i probably will close my eye and squeeze it i’ve been using the little plunger to remove it and im thinking maybe im doing something wrong? is it possible maybe i dont have enough hydration?

Hi! So last week i have finished watching the first season of Nocturne after long time of delaying so, but I must say it left a bitter taste in my mouth to say the least. I wanted to make a review since, so... here goes nothing I guess. Two disclaimers are that english isnt my mother language, so apologies for any hiccups and mistakes. Second is that I haven't played any of the Castlevania games. I go own a few, but havent played them yet.
FOR THOSE WHO DONT WANT TO WASTE THE TIME TO READ THE ENTIRE THING: It's not as good as the OGs for me, not that much of a fan. Major rant on Elizabeth
To not be so negative, I have to say that the animation is still pretty good, especially in the fights and its entertaining to watch, the voice acting was good imo as well (maybe except Elizabeth, who sounded like she has fucked up mic compared to others) and I overall liked the characters. Despite being more bratty and snarky, I liked Richter. Him and Trevor remind me so much of Dante and Nero in DMC5 with their dynamic and levels of sarcasm and cool. Anette was interesting character and I was happy to see more forms of magic in this season, counting Maries own as well. Highlight of the season for me is definitely Olrox, who i didn't like at first and loved him at the end of the season. I like his story, motivations, design, and the graduating relationship with Mizrak as much as some people bitch about the gay stuff. It's not like being gay is only 21st century thing, but that's not important atm. I just wanted to say I love Olrox and I am curious how is his (and inevitably Mizrak's) story gonna continue.
Well, this might be where the praise ends. I don't want to say that the show was unwatchable, it was still entertaining and the fights are still as good as ever, so I did have a good time when it comes to that. I have seen some posts here regarding the writing that i cannot but agree with, like the laziness of making Richter become a magic god with no effort or training (pretty much re-learning it), forced start of romance between him and Anette who hated his guts few episodes prior mind you, and few more things that people mentioned and my goldfish brain doesn't remember.
While I agree with all that, there is one thing I feel like I am alone in disliking so far, and that's Elizabeth Bathory herself. While I was excited to see her and heard of her from games (just mention of her), and she was teased as this terrifying threatening menace to mankind, I was so so so so disappointed with her. Her design is fine i guess, the way she arrived on the golden carriage was very regal, her wide skirt truly fit one of a duchess or other nobles and her narrow eyes looked menacing. An absurd moment that left me baffled like "bitch what" was when Terra offered herself as a sacrifice instead of Marie, and she stood there like "b-but shouldn't I want a virgin tho?"... excuse me? You're a ruler who caused a literal eclipse to start an eternal night and you are questioning your own servant as if she's your parent? Another nitpick is her second form, the goddess of death if i recall? While she looked amazing, rocking similar creepy ass vibes as Sphinxes in Dragon's Dogma 2, I am not a fan of these overpowered plot armored enemies. There is difference between being strong and what seems like cheating. Overall Elizabeth was a huge letdown for me. She isnt menacing, her power doesnt seem as threatening and she seems sometimes pretty dumb in my book.
Which leads me just to the last point. It felt like nothing happened during the 8 episodes, and while yes, I am aware second season is already announced iirc, some things just feels like they were for nothing. Half of the season was pointless fighting with no results. All fights are like that i think, because more night creatures and vampires will come, so even in OGs you could argue it was pointless, but it felt like there was progress made, even if not by hands of Belmont. Lennore and Camilla are gone, Dracula was killed, the forgemasters were not forced to make army for vampires anymore, Trevor killed Death. In Nocturne, the only thing that feels like it holds some sort of significance was the eclipse of the sun, which didn't hit for me as hard as it should be. I didn't care, i wasnt worried for the characters, it didn't really... idk, hit the spot? Of course it cannot compare to Dracula's furious face forming from the flames and declaring war on humankind for killing Lisa, as this was pretty much catalyst to everything, all the night creatures, usage of forgemasters and conflicts and alliances amongst vampires, but come on! Solar eclipse means that vampires lost their largest weakness and it fell so flat. I genuinly hope the second season gets better, because by far we got mary sue protag magic king, BDSM looking vampire who felt like she came from Hellraiser, not castlevania, we got introduced third Belmont, Juste, only for him to get immidiately captured and shown as pretty much useless.
Again, i hope season 2 gets better. At this point I want Alucard to find his dad and send him to france so Dracula and Bathory can have vampire 1v1. Feel free to call me a dumbass for my opinions or for the way i worded this, i suck at reviews and putting my words into comprehensible text. FOR THOSE WHO DONT WANT TO WASTE THE TIME TO READ THE ENTIRE THING: It's not as good as the OGs for me, not that much of a fan. Major rant on Elizabeth
To not be so negative, I have to say that the animation is still pretty good, especially in the fights and its entertaining to watch, the voice acting was good imo as well (maybe except Elizabeth, who sounded like she has fucked up mic compared to others) and I overall liked the characters. Despite being more bratty and snarky, I liked Richter. Him and Trevor remind me so much of Dante and Nero in DMC5 with their dynamic and levels of sarcasm and cool. Anette was interesting character and I was happy to see more forms of magic in this season, counting Maries own as well. Highlight of the season for me is definitely Olrox, who i didn't like at first and loved him at the end of the season. I like his story, motivations, design, and the graduating relationship with Mizrak as much as some people bitch about the gay stuff. It's not like being gay is only 21st century thing, but that's not important atm. I just wanted to say I love Olrox and I am curious how is his (and inevitably Mizrak's) story gonna continue.
Well, this might be where the praise ends. I don't want to say that the show was unwatchable, it was still entertaining and the fights are still as good as ever, so I did have a good time when it comes to that. I have seen some posts here regarding the writing that i cannot but agree with, like the laziness of making Richter become a magic god with no effort or training (pretty much re-learning it), forced start of romance between him and Anette who hated his guts few episodes prior mind you, and few more things that people mentioned and my goldfish brain doesn't remember.
While I agree with all that, there is one thing I feel like I am alone in disliking so far, and that's Elizabeth Bathory herself. While I was excited to see her and heard of her from games (just mention of her), and she was teased as this terrifying threatening menace to mankind, I was so so so so disappointed with her. 2024.05.19 18:37 FurkiBaby game reloads everything when I load a save and is completely bugged out
Hi everyone.
So I have this very weird problem that my game reloads every mod whenever I load a safe on my new character. I did create completely new characters aswell, tested them out multiple times and dont know what the problem could be. It happens in interior, in exterior, early game, mid game, and once it happens, there is no way back. My ENB starts flickering aswell and my character has no eyes (Its a mod too and therefore reloading). Weirdly, I have multiple saves to test what the reason might be, but in Riverwood everything was fine (I can even load back no problem). However, when I went to the first cave to get the ancient dragon stone it happened again. I have around 700+ Mods and never had this issue before. I deactivated some of them too to deal with this, but it keeps happening again and again.
When I entered the cave the first time there were no problems btw, but when I died and reloaded, the same problem occured
Did anyone have the same issue? Possible Solutions or reasons for this happening?

Would describe myself as an old soul , with youth. I enjoy doing many things, Don't often sit still too much as a single parent usually doing something if not working. I love anything paranormal, dancing, love music , its been my get away lately . listen to all genre , Enjoy being outdoors, hope to do some camping this year. I'm new here so haven't ventured out much after recently relocating.
I enjoy documentaries, video games, live bands, but I don't drink , prefer you don't , if you do at a small amount. 420 friendly, swim, wouldn't mind doing some hiking around here to see the wildlife, parks, caves, etc. as I'm from the south so pretty flat . lol Hoping to find someone who serious desires to put in the time to make a deep connection and get to know each other at a deep core level. I'm not one for playing games, would say a straight shooter as they say back home, I live a pretty private and quite life looking to find someone who desires to share it with me. as time is the most valuable thing you have to offer someone. Not seeking future children , so would have to be someone who desires that mother role possibly yet can't have children, or doesn't want any of their own.

We are all probably familiar with the YouTube video “I feel Fantastic”. When I was a freshman in Highschool I was super into all of the spooky unexplainable internet videos. I wasn’t one to get very scared from them, but I loved scaring my friends. While in class I showed my friend the video “I feel fantastic” and since we were in a loud class room he was not as disturbed by it as everyone else who has seen it. I convinced him to watch it again when he got home and he was alone. In order to convince him, I told him I would do the same and he could call me afterwards. Both of my parents worked and so when I got home I was alone. But I kept my promise and watched the video “i feel fantastic” by myself. Half way through the video I decided I had enough, so I decided to watch a suggested video that was shown on the side, to quickly get me out of the video. The video I clicked on was a black eyed peas music video. While I was watching this music video about 30 seconds in my screen started to glitch out. Eventually the video was separated into 6 or so different squares (in a similar way to splitscreen in video games). Some parts of the video were glitched, some were showing the video “I feel fantastic “. The others showed this Asian man who was staring into the webcam and moving really close to the camera. I freaked out and turned off the video. After thinking for a second, I thought that maybe it was a prank rickroll type video that was suggested on purpose, so I rewatched the music video. Is my 17 yo son a lost cause? My husband and I have 3 kids, 17M/17F, and 9F. My son has always been the type that has lied and steals. Even when he was little. We tried bribing, timeouts, quality time, you name it. He has a really bad tendency of gaslighting people, while looking at them in their eyes, stealing his sisters money. 4 years ago, he stole the keys to my husband's gun safe and my husband had to get physical with him in order for the keys to magically reappear.
He is very respectful when home but acts a complete fool when out and about. He gets into trouble and blames other people. I have suggested therapy but my husband believes that there's no use and he'll just lie to the therapist, Ido agree with him but I feel like this is our last resort. He goes off on girls and won't say anything to boys because he's afraid that they will beat him up. My husband had told him that he's a coward and is very disappointed in him.
He recently broke into a school and recorded himself with 2 other kids and they got caught. He has been trying to meet people off of snapchat to have sex withamd has been speaking to this "lady in her 40s" and was going to have this lady get him from the police.... she's a completely different race!!! When asked about him making the video in the school, he vehemently denied it until it showed his face. He said the other kids talking him into breaking into the school but the burner phone he had showed messages of him asking when they were going to do it and prompting them to do so.
He is my stepson and I have been raising him since he was 1.5 years old. His maternal biological side is into drugs and do the same thing that he does. Is this a situation of nature vs nurture?
My husband has full custody and he doesn't know his maternal side but idk. My husband is asking what went wrong. My husband tried to play video games, movies, anime, quality time, you name it and he never seemed to care. He's on the wrestling team and he would never want us to come to his meets but then he spins it and says that we don't come, even though he doesn't want us to. He has been trespassed from his previous job for an altercation with a girl and being disrespectful and he still went back like nothing could happen to him we are always coming to smooth things out for him.
We have always done family night and have open communication to where they express their feelings but he says everything is fine. They have all been given the same opportunities and experiences and love. For example, I told both him and his sister that if they saved their money and said that they wanted to purchase a car, they could. My daughter is has her permit asks to drive everyday with their dad, and has the money for a car. My son no longer has a job but still has money. Instead of trying to purchase a car, he has spent $1000s on TV, video game consoles, and food. He has his permit but doesn't ask to drive. When I brought up purchasing a car again, he said if his sister get a car before him, it would show favoritism and it wouldn't be fair. They have both been told this since they were around 10.
This is all over the place and I apoligize but hes done so many things that its hard to put them all in here. He get cuddles, hugs, and kisses just like the girls but goes againist everything we say. What should we do?
He's super smart and could have been in advanced classes but decided not to. I'm just sadded to see him choose this path. Suggestions?

You remember little of your death, perhaps fleeting memories, sensations, and flashing images. You might even remember the events or days leading up to your death clearly. However, the details of your untimely demise are shrouded in mystery.
As you list aimlessly in whatever afterlife you have found yourself in a voice echoes around you. A tether wraps around your neck as your spirit begins to burn. “...come forth lost souls and join me….Aslendus I call upon you...come forth and become Arisen!” Bits and pieces of a chant fill your ears as you can feel the weight of mortal flesh settle upon you once more and, finally, your eyes open once more!
Even with the cloud of your death filling your mind, what matters most is Estelle’s motives. War is brewing at her borders. Her people are restless, and some of her subjects plot against her. Political intrigue can be found everywhere as the Divine Land of Astrana musters forces and intel on the Lichdom, all while the Avexin Empire, land ruled by devils and The Blood, sit quietly behind the scenes plotting their machinations.
You now find yourself bound to this ancient Queen, rumored to be one of the most powerful liches, second only to The Ruler of Death himself. She who sacrificed her entire country to ascend, turning them into Undead and Demons to save them from the end of an era, from The Black Month.
How will you navigate the political landscape of this odd country ruled by the dead, for the dead? Will you seek to free yourself from the Queen, or help your newfound

First, you will write something original and creative then I will provide ideas and supplements until the backstory truly comes alive. each player will also write 4 rumors about their character that may be true, false, or partially true. These rumors will be distributed to the other players.
Once the seats are filled, we will run Session 0 and schedule Session 1. Session 0 is a group activity to learn Foundry VTT and to get to know each other. Session 0 is free!

It is heavily inspired by gothic horror genre's, as well as taking influence from sources such as darkest dungeon, dark souls, and bloodborne. - We will be starting the game once we get 3 players with the hopes of eventually having 5 players.
- 3 to 4 hour sessions.
