2024.05.20 06:07 Overall-Bill7193 Vcug flashbacks and I have bad coping mechanisms.

TLDR: vcug flashbacks, my only coping skill is alcohol, I can’t run anymore because of my weight (gained so much weight, but used to run when I had flashbacks), I need help either coping with flashbacks or stopping them.
Hi, I had multiple vcug’s as a toddler. Also have faint memories of csa but I can’t even begin to process that, right now I’m dealing with the vcug’s. I’m in my early 20s and I’m living alone and fully isolated from people for the summer (don’t tell me to find friends). So that makes flashbacks much more frequent especially at night.
I keep having vivid memories of this event. I’m so angry and disgusted with the people who allowed this to happen. It’s like nobody has souls. How come growing up the adults around me intended and loved inflicting as much pain as possible onto me instead of the opposite, like they’re supposed to do????
Anyways when the evening comes I start getting such vivid body flashbacks that I feel the sensations I felt when getting the test done. (TW FOR DESCRIPTION OF VCUG) I feel my limbs restrained by doctors on all four sides, and the touching and prodding, and the helplessness. I remember my earliest memories wishing I would die. I remember being fully in shock until I was able to move out for college. I developed skin pigment problems and more autoimmune problems. My skin on my arm is almost fully scar tissue from sh . I was spending every moment trying to end my life from 6 to around 18.
Here’s where I get more graphic, more medical/anatomical stuff. I am desperate to stop all feeling in that area because it brings flashbacks. I bought lidocaine spray and idc if it’s safe or not it actually brought me so much relief because there was no sensation. But it can be harmful in large doses so I can’t use it daily.
I’ve been drinking nightly and at this point it doesn’t even help, I still get flashbacks just as bad, though inebriated. Thc gives me panic attacks so I can’t use that. I refuse to even verbalize this to even a psychiatrist, so I can’t get pills.
I’ve gained 100 pounds so I can’t run it off. I don’t want alcohol to be my only lifeline.
How can I deal with this situation with literally zero social interaction? I feel like I’m in hell.

This is a page from the All About Street Fighter Zero 3 guide, released in Japan, all about, as far as I can guess, the character select screen. I’m interested in what it says. Any awesome bilingual legend cool enough to give a summary, as I’m intrigued.

2024.05.20 06:03 Aforeffort9113 Help/Advice: Unofficial Foster Rehoming

I'm going to try to keep this short, but it's not my strong suit, so bear with me.
We took in a dog as a sort of emergency foster. He has some special needs; nothing super crazy but not right for everyone (anxiety, he was abused, needs boundaries/ structure, and he's a PyBorder Collie...). He will be a fantastic dog for the right home, has come a long way, and is ready for a forever home. But we stepped in to fill an emergency need, and we don't have a relationship or affiliation with any shelters or rescues, and now I'm not sure how to go about getting him rehomed. It would NOT be good for his progress to go to a shelter now, and we don't mind fostering him until a good fit comes along, but how do we connect him with options?
I did actually keep it pretty short, so more than happy to answer follow-up questions.
P.S. Not sure if it's relevant, but we are very interested in fostering again in the future, after we give our resident dog a bit of a break.

Trigger Warnings: sexual abuse of a child, trauma, miscarriage
Original Post (AutoMod): March 30, 2024
I preface this by saying I think I screwed up massively.
Hubbie and I have been married for six years now. He's always been the "fun guy", always laughing and making me laugh, always seeing the bright side of things. However, one thing that bothered me was that I never knew much of his family. His father died when he was little and he has little relationship with his mom.
I'll keep this short: four months ago I looked up his mom on social media and found her. I sent a message, and she replied. We chatted and met up, she doesn't live far from us. She knew all about me and her son because she kept an eye on him on social. We became friends and I filled her in with details about our lives. I asked her why hubbie went no contact with her. She refused to tell me why if hubbie didn't tell me, just said it was all her fault and she's ashamed of it. I proposed to try what I could to help them reconcile and she agreed even if she was reluctant at first.
In the following weeks I tried talking to hubbie about his mother and what happened between them. He always changed topic or shut me down. When MIL asked me how it was going, I told her things were progressing and I was working on it.
Last week I decided to try and have them meet up so maybe we could spend Easter together. I invited MIL over before my husband would be back from work so we could surprise. She was a bit unsure about this, she said she wasn't comfortable surprising him like that, but I ressured her. I thought that any emotion hubbie could have would be better cooled by a hug.
Spoiler alert, MIL was right. Hubbie came home, and after the initial shock started yelling like I never heard him to her to get out immediately. She just grabbed her coat and stormed out. Afterwards, hubbie told me to get out too when I explained what I had done. He didn't yell at me, but his voice was cold and almost emotionless.
I've been staying at my sister's since. Hubbie won't take my calls. MIL cried on the phone and asked why I lied like that and never talked to my hubbie and "prepared" him for that. Now she stopped taking my calls as well.
I know I have screwed up big time, and I see now what a massive dork I've been. How can I fix this? I want to apologize to hubbie for what I did and maybe find out why his mom is dead to him.

Commenter: You’re a manipulative liar with no concept of boundaries. You’re staring divorce in the face and STILL want details on a situation that has absolutely fuck all to do with you. You know you’re a despicable person when even the estranged mother wants nothing to do with you. Grow up.
MollyRolls:You transgressed on such a massive and personal level and you still think you might be entitled to “find out why”? OP, this is not your trauma. Your husband is an autonomous adult who is allowed to set his own boundaries, and if you couldn’t trust his ability to make good decisions in that regard you should not have married him. Instead you meddled and undermined and completely violated his trust—he trusted that you would act like a partner, not an overbearing matchmaker who didn’t believe him about his own lived experience.
You don’t have to know what happened. It is not your place to judge whether it was “bad enough.” It does not matter if you ever understand. All you ever had to do was trust him, and you demonstrated you have no interest in being that sort of spouse, and so it serves you right if you lost him.
sk1999sk ask your husband to go to marriage counseling. You betrayed him big time. He may never be able to forgive you. You also need individual therapy to find out why you would do something like this to someone you supposedly love. if your husband refuses marriage counseling and ends your marriage, please see a therapist on you your own.

Editor’s Note: removed the bottom part of the update as it had the rehash of the original post
Update 1: April 20, 2024
Hey guys My original post and account got nuked, and I can't find them anymore. If someone can find my original post I'll add It in an edit.
The last weeks have been rough, but we might be okay.
Hubbie opened up about the reason he cut off his mother and many of you were right, it was s3xual abuse. Not from his mother, but his stepfather. They were engaged and his mom was pregnant with his child when the guy started giving my husband "attentions".
Husband went to his mom but she shut him down accusing him of being jealous and wanting to spoil her happiness. This went on until his mother came home from work unexpectedly and walked in on the guy "giving attention" to my husband. She kicked him out, pressed charges and annulled their engagement, but the damage was done and my husband no longer trusted her. She also lost the baby due to stress and although she never blamed my husband for it, he felt it was his fault.
All this felt like a gut punch for me, first for what he went through, and then because now I am the person who shattered his trust. He said he did consider divorce over this, but pretty bluntly said that he thinks my actions were out of stupidity rather than malice, and he wants to work things out.
I am committed to do my best to become a better and safe partner for him, I know I have this stupid and selfish tendency to think that I often know better than him, but I have to get over it because it hurt him massively and almost imploded our relationship. I don't want to be another person he trusted and ended up hurting him.
He also decided to reach out to his mom and start talking to her again. He's not sure they can repair the relationship, but he wants for both of them to find some closure.
Comments
laurcarol: There is zero reason for him to repair the relationship with his mom . I hope he gets the closure he deserves. I happen to remember your original post, and I still don’t know if you fully grasp what you did wrong.
Kebar8: Just so you know this is not something that will be fixed in the next few weeks or months.
This is going to take years for you to regain his full trust and love again
I hope you've put yourself in therapy to work out why you put yourself first here and not his wishes
Dry-Hearing5266: You need to put yourself in therapy.
Your level of boundary stomping and dismissing your husband's feelings along with your admission that you often "think that I often know better than him" shows you have issues that you need to address in individual therapy
You need to understand that you don't deserve his consideration no matter the reason for his estrangement with his mother. Whether you think it's justified or not.
You seem to have some narcissistic tendencies, and you need to get that addressed. A mentally healthy person would never do this.

Update 2: May 13, 2024
Hello everyone.
You can find the rest of the story on my previous post.
My husband is doing better and our relationship is slowly getting back to what it was. I know it will take a lot of time to repair the damage I caused, but I am willing to give him all the time he wants and do anything he asks out of me.
The bitter irony of this whole story is that he told me he had been thinking about reaching out to his mother, but on his terms and time. By going behind his back I almost destroyed that chance of reconciliation and imploded our marriage.
I am working on myself and will start seeing a therapist next month so I never do something like that ever again and more importantly, never betray his trust ever again.
Also, with my husband's knowledge and consent, I apologized to MIL for leading her on with false promises and she has forgiven me.
As for him and MIL, they started talking to each other, have met a couple of times in public and yesterday my husband invited her over for dinner so that in his words we all can try to start over properly.
She's a very sweet woman and she's eager to reconcile with him and get to know me. My husband said that for now he wants for all of us to get a bit used to each other, then he and MIL will get to work on their traumas (his words).
He says she's not the "villain" in what happened, but he needs to come to terms with her poor decisions and his own feelings of guilt for her losing her baby. MIL on the other hand is very apologetic and extremely sorry about what happened (in my husband's opinion, sincerely so) and doesn't blame him at all for the miscarriage.
As for me, I just sit aside and do my best to rebuild the trust with my husband and become a better and safe partner.
He started being affectionate with me again and we are no longer on thin ice, but I can't stop thinking I almost lost him because I thought I knew better than him.
Comment
Veronika9216: I remember your story, and I hope you appreciate how lucky you are to be given a second chance.
You know you screwed up when both your husband and the estranged parent are upset at you for what you have done. It seems you all are on the road of reconciling, but never forget that your short-sighted actions could have nuked any possibility of them reconciling and your own marriage.
Be thankful you are given this chance, don't screw it up and although your husband and MIL have forgiven you for breaking both their trusts, it will take time to rebuild their trust for you.

Welcome to the Weekly Employment Question Thread!
This thread is where you can ask questions about joining, training to become, testing, disqualifications/qualifications, and other questions that would be removed as individual posts per Rule 1.
The answer to almost every question you can ask will be "It depends on the department". Your first step is to look up the requirements for your department, state/province, and country.
As always, please attempt to resource information on your own first, before asking questions. We see many repeat questions on this sub that have been answered multiple times.
Frequently Asked Questions:
  1. Dress appropriately. Business casual at a minimum (Button down, tucked in long sleeve shirt with slacks and a belt, and dress shoes). Get a decent haircut and shave.
  2. Practice interview questions with a friend. You can't accurately predict the off-the-wall questions they will ask, but you can practice the ones you know they probably will, like why do you want to be a Firefighter, or why should we hire you?
  3. Scrub your social media. Gone are the days when people in charge weren't tech-savvy. Don't have a perfect interview only for your chances of being hired gone to zero because your Facebook or Instagram has pictures of you getting blitzed. Set that stuff to private and leave it that way.
Please upvote this post if you have a question. Upvoting this post will ensure it sticks around for a bit after it is removed as a Sticky, and will allow for greater visibility of your question.
And lastly, If you're not 100% sure of what you're talking about, leave it for someone who does

I have multiple character above 9,000,000 gsp and I googled that you need 8,000,000 gsp to get into elite smash. What else can I do?

Trigger Warnings: entitlement
Original Post: April 21, 2024
I 24M teach boxing in my spare time, and one day a week, I teach it to kids.
There's a mom who i'm starting to feel like is taking advantage of these classes.
She's increasingly late with picking up her kid after the session.
To give some context, this is a rich woman. It's not that she's out working a job. She is a stay at home parent. No other kids. She told me all this because another thing she loves to do is have really long conversations with me on top of already being late.
She's been late most of March (3 classes). I talked to her about it at the end of the month and she apologized and said it won't happen again. It did. x2 now. So I started timing her.
The second week of April (no class the first week), she arrived 45 minutes late. Then spent maybe 20 minutes talking to me. The other day, I timed her again. She got there around the 1 hour mark. I made a point to show her my timer and I gave her a warning that I will remove her kid from my class. She tried to derail the conversation so I raised the timer and turned it on again. She said I was being 'unjustifiably rude' (exact words).
I explained (politely) that I have other obligations and her consistent lateness throws my schedule off.
She didn't want to have this conversation, stomped to the driver's side of her car. Her kid lowered his window to say thank you and 'bye' to me. I told him bye and added 'tell your mom to stop being late'.
She reported our conversation to my boss but twisted it. She said that I threatened her kid with getting kicked out of the program. I didn't say it like that. And I didn't say it to her kid. There are other instructors, I was just implying (to her) that I won't have him in my group. My boss still gave me a lecture about how I don't have that power and can't make the statements I did. He went over professionalism and how i'm being too hard on this mom who could have other circumstances going on.
But i'm not getting paid for the hour after this class that I spend hanging out with her kid.
The kid's great.. but I have things to do.
For people who work with kids, what's the etiquette here? do I give parents grace?
I told my boss i'm going to start adding up all the hours and one of them is going to have to pay me.

OOP on wanting to set in the boundaries and fine system for late pickups and to have the boss set the firm approach for it.
OOP: See. That's how it should be. Unfortunately, I don't think my boss has any policy around it judging from the way our conversation went. If this continues to be an issue, I'm going to push for compensation since his approach currently has me taking responsibility for it. I'll send an email to him about clarifying so I have some kind of a written response.
OOP on the policy and the front desk staff to deal with the phone calls to parents for pickups
OOP: There is no front desk. I didn't want to immediately escalate to CPS and cops before making some attempts with the mom. The (lack of?) policy is definitely an issue.. that I am now going to push to address/seek further info about.
OOP on getting paid for his time of the hours he did outside his duties
OOP: I added them up, sent it to him and everything— he told me he will only pay me moving forward. I should let it go, and then made a point to remind me that I volunteered for this job knowing it was new and there would be hiccups.

Update: May 1, 2024
Previous post.
I appreciate the advice I got on the post I made. I learned a lot from you.
Here's the update:
I took various notes from the people who gave me tips here. I wrote a detailed email to my boss and cc'd other people who run this program, including co-instructors. I did this for transparency, accountability, and to put pressure on my boss to provide a policy around the issue instead of him dealing with us all individually / case by case.
My boss didn't respond to the email, instead he called me in to see him. I kind of had a feeling he’d do that.
He asked me why I sent the email cc'ing everyone and was clearly not happy about my approach. He kept trying to minimize the situation, and make me feel that I am in the wrong. He told me that I'm being greedy. That my attitude about one parent being late is exaggerated and I'm looking for problems. I should essentially just wait around after-hours if I need to sometimes (unpaid) because it's a program for kids. I should do this with some heart and "Do it for the kids". I had to turn my face to hide the fact that I wanted to laugh in that moment. But mostly I was frustrated.
Having proper policies in place not only protects the staff, it protects the kids, not to mention his fucking business. After I made my perspective clear (in a mostly professional manner).. he came around a little.
Unfortunately, he flat out told me he will not back-pay me for the time that I've logged waiting for this mom, but he will implement a late policy moving forward. He's followed through on that. He tried to throw in other useless incentives for me. I didn't accept them.
That mom wasn't late this week. She did try to catch my eye when she picked her son up and I ignored her. She ended up getting out of her car and asked me if I saw her waving. I kept ignoring her. She wore me down because she kept following me around while I locked up. I informed her why she's getting the silent treatment. She apologized and also tried to write me a check on the spot. I didn't take the money. I told her... honestly, I might quit instead. I am sharing this because the woman clearly lives in her own world. Here, just take my money and stop being mad at me. I was so furious. It took everything in me to keep the words that I said to her to a minimum.
I am on the fence about just letting this go. Maybe the program will get smoother with time. It's not a lot of money worth fighting over... I am so disappointed in my boss. I’ve known him for a long time as a mentofriend. Being his employee has been something else. The program itself is very new and disorganized. Due to differences of opinion about how its run, I doubt I will stay with it.
This is my first time working a job that involves kids. My actual profession is unrelated to boxing. This was mostly something I picked up spontaneously, because I saw the merit in it and I wanted to do my part to help. I admit I could use the extra money too. I don’t mean to be greedy or stingy, but I live in an insanely expensive city and I take care of someone with expensive medical bills.
I haven't proof-read this, but it looks longer than I wanted it to be. I’m sorry. I’m tired.
Relevant Comments
OOP on being frustrated with his boss and the situation
OOP: I wouldn’t say I’m angry about the situation.. I think I am mostly frustrated with my boss’s approach in dealing with issues. It’s hard to convey all of it in writing but he’s extremely stubborn and hard headed. He takes unnecessary offence to constructive feedback and then holds grudges. Getting him to do anything is always more difficult than it needs to be. He will try to bulldoze you, there’s always friction no matter what you suggest. It shouldn’t have to be like that.
I think I’m coming to terms with the realization that he’s a great friend and mentor but a terrible person to collaborate or do business with. I wish he would have taken what I said more seriously instead of focusing so much on this being an isolated issue when it could easily happen again with another parent. Even though he’s implemented the new policies, he’s acting as if he did me a favor.
The person I was angry at, is the mom.. because of the way she talked to me and threw money at me. There was no understanding.
She was so quick to report me to my boss and twist my words last week, and this week shes at pickup trying to flag me to chat like it never happened. The entitlement of this woman. She can’t stand being ignored. And when I reminded her what she did she acted as if it was just a money problem. Who cares about the appointments I got late for and the trouble she caused me— she can write me a check right now and order me to stop being mad at her. It definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
I absolutely hear you though. Thank you.
WaitUntilIDie: You'd make the right call to cut your loses, see this as a learning opportunity for what is not only intolerable but most likely illegal. I can't think of any state where you can be expected to continue working without pay. Id go as far as to suggest reporting the hours you were unpaid to the labor board in your state if you are from the states.
You are being taken advantage of here, but you know that. Do what's best for you. I'm not only suggesting making the report so you get paid, but also to put this business on notice because you probably aren't the only person they will try to exploit this way especially after you've left and having that record is important to show a pattern of behavior on the business owners part.
ERVetSurgeon: Report him to the Dept of Labor at the federal level. You cannot force someone to stay on the job "off the clock." If they did that, you will get back pay.
Hellokitty55: I'm so sorry this is happening to you. You're NTA. You tried to level with your boss and get him to understand. I'm guessing he doesn't want any backlash bc of business. I wish there weren't people out there that takes advantage of kindness.

I got other instructors to get on my boss’s case with me. I also informed him I have to quit the kids class and I will quit the training I do with adults too / leave the gym and our friendship if he doesn’t hear me out respectfully.
The reason I wanted to avoid reporting my boss is because I have a relationship with him and nearly everyone at this gym going back almost 10 years. I didn’t want to resort to making a report without exploring every other option first.
My boss caved. I’ll get paid for the extra hours I logged on the next paycheck.
Moving forward, I will no longer teach the kids, because although we have a policy and late pickup fee in place, as it stands right now, instructors are still responsible to stay back until the last kid leaves and my boss doesn’t want to negotiate on that. I can’t stay behind after classes. I have other obligations the same day as the class I teach. It’s unfortunate because this one parent is the only one currently abusing the system because she can afford to.
That kid’s mom was late this week again by 30 minutes. Showed her my timer. I also told her I’ve quit. She asked me if the late warnings “reset” when a new instructor takes over (they don’t). She then tried to hire me out from under my boss as her kid’s private instructor. I said no, but I might reconsider if she ever wants lessons. I would love to give that woman hell.
Alright, that’s the end of that. I feel bad I couldn’t stick it out with this kids program but it’s too disorganized for me right now.

Good call not working for her who knows what kind of hell she would put you through.
People with money know that money talks and most will take it. When you don’t out of principle they just can’t understand it.

2024.05.20 05:59 options_2019 Leverage (provided by Broker) vs Prop Firm/s Trading Account Size

Why would I go with a prop firm (such as FTMO (for clarity: FTMO is just one example, there are many other prop firms and I'm not saying anything good or bad about FTMO by mentioning them) versus just trading with (excessive) leverage provided by my Broker?
I guess part of my question/s is what is the difference between leverage (provided by my Broker) and trading another person's money - who can add some zeroes to my gains (and losses) in exchange for them taking some of the profits (and taking risk as it's their money minus the trading challenge's fees etc.).

With some prop firms you can get trading accounts as large as 100,000 (often a lot larger) but 100k (USD) is a nice round number to work with. If you have 100 leverage then you'd only need to put 1k of your own capital in order to control 100k and you'd also keep all of the profits vs. the disadvantage of a profit split with the prop. firm route.
I do understand or realise that as far as i know that prop firms also give leverage with the trading account (100k in this example) but I mean you could put in 10k of your own capital with your broker and then u'd control 1M (1,000,000 USD) of capital or you could also get 500x leverage although usually/always higher leverage brokers (such as 500x) aren't regulated and therefore possibly more likely to mix client funds with their broker money and defraud you etc. etc. / and/or trade against you or eff you in some or many ways.... But I mean trading capital aside what's the advantages and disadvantages and things to consider when choosing between prop firms or just going with broker's leverage?
I'm probably missing something really obvious - WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE some help here - think maybe my brain isn't working properly or too tired or plain stupid or something...? Help me please...
I must be missing something unless maybe the rise of prop firms (over the last few years) is in response to the crackdown by 'the man' / the regulators who have limited leverage and made lots of other restrictions and limitations, protections...?

2024.05.20 05:58 getoffmylawn0014 What unique things will you use the new expressive voice for?

Since the new voice mode (once released) will allow it to be much more expressive/realistic, what kind of things will you utilize it for?
One thing I currently use 4o for is a continuous DnD style adventure game completely generated by ChatGPT (after giving it a general theme). I'd imagine that the upcoming voice would do well as a narrator / Dungeon Master since it could be very expressive to suit whatever specific scenario is happening or which characters are talking.
What other cases can you imagine using it for to really take advantage of the "realism" of the voice?

2024.05.20 05:57 Entire_Preference_69 Post-finale thoughts on S2: With a much needed cast shakeup coming for season 3, who should stay and who should go? And why?

Summer should be fun! The heavy energy’s gotta go. They say their group is very cliquey (we can tell), so let’s start by breaking up the cliques. Add in a bunch of fun, attractive singles and get rid of the tears and bad vibes. Also, I know they’re casting, but I’d love for the newbies to be real friends with at least someone on the cast. It’s exhausting to watch a group of people who clearly don’t like each other and are only there for the cameras. I'll keep supporting and tellin a friend to tell a friend, but I do hope it reaches its full potential.
Are my opinions controversial or do you agree?
STAY
GO

GO, FOR ME, BUT I COULD SEE THEM COMING BACK AND ADDING SOMETHING TO THE SHOW
PS - These opinions are based on the characters we see on an edited show. I’m not passing judgment on them as human beings.

2024.05.20 05:57 Academic-Pay7200 So I was suspended but they actually fired me.

So Domino's Pizza was actually my first job, I mainly worked landscaping so I was always getting paid in cash. When I first started working as a manager towards the middle/end of my GM's time working at the store, there were rumors of her stealing money. But not knowing better I was putting my own money into the store and she wasn’t even stopping me from doing so (encouraging me to continue). Around $2k-3k. Didn’t get reimbursed or a thank you lmao.
A couple years later I did put my two weeks in and work somewhere else but had schedule complications so I went back to Domino’s Pizza. The GMIT+3 was very shitty and lazy at her job but was happy that I was back because she doesn’t want to close anymore. She later walked out because she found out she was being transferred to another store that is slower. So now I would close Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
Our DM is kinda tricky, I couldn’t figure out I was his least favorite because anything I do that was minor got treated like a big deal. I would do literally what he wanted me to do but no one else would have to comply with it. I had to do zenputs with the lights on but another manager would always do them off. Another manager would not wear a belt or tuck in his shirt but would sometimes not do the opening checklist. Another manager came in 30 minutes after open when I had a couple deliveries (I was asked to open this one week, so 10:30am) but used the GM’s numbers to edit his time to 9:30am. Our GM would literally wait till I fucked up somewhere to start putting me on the spot in the manager chat. Like tots needed to be prep in 8 ounces bags (28 tots). I’m actually the one that preps them and a few others sometimes because the openers usually will not prep them. I decided not to do them this time but instead of putting them in a clean container with a new in use tag just to get put on the spot. Stuff like that.
Now to the actual two reasons why I was suspended. First I was caught on camera working without being clocked in. There are times where I will clock out if I just have to mop and take trash out. And times where we will get truck mid day or two or so hours before close. So I figured I don’t need to be clocked in to put truck away because sometimes openers when they get it on their shift they won't put it away, so I do it. But apparently it’s illegal and against policy to be clocked out while working. I never knew that. Again, Domino’s Pizza is my first job no one till my DM told me that. If I knew it was illegal and against policy I wouldn’t have done that. I thought I was being nice and efficient.
Second, I will probably just list the next reason: By the period they believe I was stealing money. I was not. All money will always be in the store.
*orders that aren't bad ordered/zenputed immediately and not picked up by customers. Now coworkers will throw them away or will eat them during opening hours and managers as well as me will forget about them. So at the end of the night the orders will be in the non-paid sections but we will assume the money is in the store.
*orders that are too old and customers will still pick them up. Meaning I will just make a duplicate order of it and cancel the original without zenputing them (originals). And use whatever coupons reach the price they were "promised" by the app.
*non-recorded credits; I get customers calling the store claiming to have credits that other managers agreed to give. I'll check in-store comment/order history under the number called with or with another number it could've been. But I didn't want to argue with the customer or be a broken record in the mgr chat so I zeroed them out.
*orders being edited; I mentioned before about the complexity for the elderly and some others who don't know how to navigate the app/website. So I usually use 20% off. For my regulars that usually use the online $7.99 but forget about it, I just toss them a 20% off as well. Sometimes.
Examples: May 16, 2024 there was an order for I believe Joe Gomez or something, the ticket said 2 specialty pizzas (meatzzas) and a sandwich but it was never picked up so I gave it to this homeless guy outside around close. It was one of the last orders. There were two tickets pinned on the board in the office that were kept to remind me to submit them through zenput but I forgot. Unless the managers threw them out.
To clarify, I don't care about getting my job back but I'm no thief, I was hurt that was being branded as one after all the money I put in. And people I would help. Granted what I did was wrong but damn. Sorry for bothering everyone I guess.

2024.05.20 05:56 Squirrelflight148931 ASC "Wind," Character reviews!

Clearly massive Spoilers for not only Wind, yet all of ASC, as this is more of a review of the current events.
Well! Upon finishing Wind and realizing in horror I'm waiting till NOVEMBER to finish this, and hoping to Starclan I still remember what happened by then, it feels right to just review the Arc as of now anyways.
I'm likely just going character by character, not literal event timelines. I'll review Nightheart, Sunbeam, Frostpaw, Splashtail, and Squirrelstar! Enjoy.

Nightheart.

Oh boy, this Man was the "Rootspring," of ASC. Really got on my nerves with his hypocrisy and shortsightedness at the beginning when he was still Flamepaw. He was always justified in his desire for his own legacy, but he also seemed to have a sense of self importance and expectations he had not earned. However, as he became Nightheart, things began to change.
I'll discuss the NightBeam/SunHeart ship as one right here, I absolutely support it. A healthy, no bullshit relationship of two cats who genuinely just respect and support each other. The amount of sheer willingness and support between these two cats all the way from book one to five is astonishing. Sun and Night both wholeheartedly comfort and aid the other in times of hardship, and both cats straight up made their mind with Clan swapping with no issue or regret. (Within reason, of course.) They are fully dedicated to each other and loyal to their family. They love and believe in each other, even when some parts of their lives go against each other, like Sun's reluctant attachment to Berryheart, who despises Nightheart. Night never brings her down or attacks her for still caring about her mother. That shows true understanding for who she is as a cat. This relationship I believe also played a tremendous role in Nightheart as a character.
Back to him alone, his connection and journey between Frostpaw and Sunbeam molded him into a loyal, courageous, and downright brave motherfucker and I like the Man. He is upfront, generally sensible in his thinking, compassionate, understanding, and humble, even taking responsibility for his younger issues at times. He has quickly turned himself around as a remarkable cat! As such I said, basically like Rootspring for me!

Sunbeam.

The perfect choice for Nightheart for sure. She's a cat caught in the dilemma of old and new family, new hearts and old, struggling to keep both intact, praying that both don't break. She holds herself together amazingly well, and she had the respect for not only Nightheart, but Thunderclan itself, that beyond even standing up to everyone she knew for Nightheart, she also dedicated her loyalty to Thunderclan beyond Nightheart, proving her change of heart was true. She stood firm in adversity such as Cherryfall with more maturity than I'd have shown that sabotaging cat, and most cherishingly, she held out for weeks and more with half the cats in the Clan and herself dreading if Nightheart had abandoned her, yet not for a moment did her trust in him falter, and their bond seemed even stronger when he returned. She quickly made great and honest bonds with Thunderclan cats including Squirrelstar and Nightheart's immediate family that consistently have hung on.
Sunbeam has shown herself brave, cunning, and sensible beyond average reason. She'll selflessly help cats of other Clans, and is the first to volunteer for dangerous quests and keep Nightheart out of mischief, ha! Sunbeam was asked to prove her qualities, and she has done so with great honor. She is one of the few who's loyalty to Thunderclan couldn't be questioned even after sneaking through Windclan territory to help her family, exiled from Shadowclan. She cares for both ends, yet weighs her priorities with care. I look forward to her development and closing arc!

Frostpaw.

Ah, the traumatized Apprentice No. 99938-something. Well, thanks to her good writing, she's proved to be far more than that. Frostpaw embodies a favorite quote of mine, "You wear your convictions well, they suit you."
Frostpaw is steadfast and bloody well resolute in her quest, and that is so astonishing because of how she began. Frostpaw was an innocent, fragile and scared cat at the start. She wanted Peace, yet knew nothing of conflict. By the end, she kept her goal for Peace, even after experiencing the horrors of conflict.
From the day she lay bleeding on the moor, I saw a fire light in her heart that drove her in spite of her many wounds, mental and physical to distant lands. She befriended lost cats, rival Clans, and through it all, her trauma and experiences did not further weaken or shake her resolve, yet seemingly hardened it in bloody iron. That passive, gullible innocent Apprentice matured in a shockingly believable heartbeat. Through meditation, reflection, and accepting of truths most Warriors cannot tolerate, she earned a self respect and wisdom greater than many cats. Yet, through all the strength and firm nature of her new guarded, and stricter soul, she only gained determination and respect for what she lost, aiming to restore Riverclan against any odds.
From a cat with a foolish blind crush, to wisely sparring in a bloody game with the false Leader, she holds her own with terrifyingly skill. I hardly know if she can fight a single Warrior, yet somehow she seems to be more suited to this conflict than any cat yet. Nothing has wavered her for long, and whatever has, seems to further invigorate her resolve.
Frostpaw has dealt with the betrayal of cats she trusted as family. She has had cats die for her, lie for her, and cats be hurt and broken for her. And she took none for granted. Whenever something shakes her confidence and beliefs, she comes right back to shake it twice as hard. My admiration for such a strong cat is immeasurably high! Frostpaw has suffered more pain and loss than any cat to the Arc yet. But, for all she has gained, partnerships and family now from nearly ever Clan, Tiger, Whistle, Night, she is ready to forge herself into a cat unbreakable. A legendary contrast to her origins, and I am stoked to see how it plays out.

Splashtail.

Ah, this bastard. This cat is basically a real Clan Darktail, but he pulls it off well.
The last chapter of Wind seriously put the last few pieces of his personality together for me. And I actually have a sort of hotter take on his behavior than many might have.
I do not believe Splashtail is outright ruthless and cruel "just because." Partially, I believe he suffers from a form of trauma suppression that is making him this way. We see that Curlfeather was the instigator for this, that Splashtail genuinely just wanted Riverclan secure, and swore he could do it better than it had. He respected Reedwhisker, and he seemed initially disturbed by the idea of so much... ill means to secure his own position, yet also a slight insecurity or distain for Curlfeather's own degrading outlook of him. Splashtail is ambitious, yet in his own beliefs, also highly loyal. I honestly got the feeling by the end of Wind, Splashtail basically had crossed the blood red line. He went arguably insane, as the last chapter of Wind actually hints at, likely due to a form of regret, a suppression of trauma of what he did. Basically he keeps doing more chaotic and cruel things similar to an addiction, because the withdrawal would mean facing the truth of what you've done. It's possible a form of guilt or conscious bore away at his sanity until he snapped it himself.
Splashtail seems to have a warped personal truth that he genuinely wants Riverclan to be... Gods. So powerful, it feels he may want that specifically because he has to give himself a valid reason that all this bloodshed and madness must earn Riverclan SOMETHING, or else he's truly mad. It's a form of self hatred that is twisting his morality, and I can see it in every word he makes. After all, in his own words about the blood red line, "If I'm already staining my paws with blood, why stop at one?" With Frostpaw... Harelight... I don't think his mind is his own anymore. His terror and anguish has controlled who he is now. Whatever sense of justice or loyalty he wanted to bring to Riverclan, is now a demented passenger to his new self destruction. I wonder indeed what it will do to him before the end.

Squirrelstar.

I believe... I was damn well right. People told me her actions in ASC were ridiculous and wrong, hypocritical even. And I thought, "Well, what's the context?" And I was RIGHT.
Squirrelstar has quickly become of the best Leaders I have witnessed.
I seriously think the Writing team created a whole new personality type that finally gives Squirrelstar some serious personality, because she operates as Leader in a way I've hardly ever seen.
She is incredibly thorough and devoted.
Squirrelstar has shown a perfect mix of extreme unrelenting authority that commands obedience, and absolute respect and love for her Clan and family that balances it beautifully. In the same sentence, she'll formally scold a cat for doing something logically stupid, yet also reason and level so kindly with them on an unofficially level. With Night, Sun, Tiger, Wasp, Waffle, so many! Her compassion and control are expertly blended and I couldn't be more proud.
Squirrelstar is beyond correct regarding the Riverclan situation. People said it was hypocrisy, because she replaced Bramblestar when he was too "lenient." But that was a different time, and when she became Leader, she understood.
Bramblestar was traumatized. He would've advocated for unconditional peace, whereas Squirrelstar is advocating for absolute peace through resolution, on the condition that Riverclan is willing to make the leap.
Tigerstar is absolutely justified and partially correct about his desire to just fix Riverclan by force, yet Squirrelstar also has great wisdom.
She cautions that forcibly ripping Riverclan's Leader away who they've scratched and clawed after for Moons without them actually consenting to it, would lead to a useless war with most of Riverclan that would cause immense unnecessary bloodshed thay no degree of power could stop. It doesn't matter how many Clans join, if Riverclan chooses to fight for Splashtail, innocent and misguided or not, Riverclan will likely bleed itself dry like a cornered animal, and Squirrelstar understands that remarkably well. Riverclan needs to ensure it has a proper rebellion in wait, so that Splashtail will be alone in his War; to minimize conflict and waste of life.
Yet, for any who still perceive that Squirrelstar is too reserved, she has wisely shown her claws furiously when threatened. She did everything short of literally skinning that Riverclan party who stormed into Thunderclan camp. She did not give a single solitary fuck what they felt or didn't. She outright made it explicitly clear that Splashtail does not scare her, she's only concerned about needless bloodshed. Not a cat afraid of War... but one who knows how to fight one.
Squirrelstar is beyond ready to cut Splashtail into little pieces for the fish. She waits for Riverclan... and as of Wind... I should assume her final decision will be swift.
Her words, her mannerisms, they're so unique to her. I've seen Squirrelstar use words that Warriors has literally never bloody used. I still swear the Writing team is shockingly determined to do her justice, and I eagerly await her future!
That is all for now!

2024.05.20 05:54 jewseybrucey [Online][DnD][5e] Looking for a serious player to join in our [Saturday] night (7-10pm) [EST] home-brew campaign.

Started a campaign about a three years ago and a player dropped out. Looking for someone to take his place. We play every week, characters are level 12. First come first serve basis. Discord is towel#3307 if you are interested.
Heads up: I have a zero tolerance policy for no shows without communicating with group in advance. Please be respectful of each other’s time and efforts. If you are on the fence about being able to make every week, please pass on this one.
Campaign background: Ash is a post dragon war apocalyptic setting with kingdoms run by various races. The leaders of each race hold the five wyrmstones which give them the power to rule their people. But the evil necromancer Ghargut Zhol is making moves, and it is up to a certain group of noble adventurers to thwart his plans.
At the start of the campaign, the party adventured to the city of Al Khamra, the Djinni city, and recreated the red wyrmstone (red = fire, used by the King to drain heat from the desert) that was stolen by Ghargut Zhol with the help of the spirit of Nova, a seemingly demented old lady, who was really just hard of hearing and needed her glasses (these glasses were super cool, by the way).
They later traveled to Ash, the human capital, to discover a different city of “less desirable races” lying beneath the city. With the power of the black wrymstone (earth and crop fertility), the King of Ash was able to mold the land and maintain the peace between the two cities. But the stone seemed to have been weakening and frequent cave-ins have occurred, which could risk outright war if this secret were discovered.
After accidentally releasing a coven of hags on the world with a star map that was used by a wizard to confine them to a section of feywild, the party set out to explore the Temple of the Moon, collected various vinyls in a star shaped dungeon, and reforged the black wyrmstone, with the help of the spirit of Miguel Jackson, the moonwalking wizard.
Having finally secured peace in Ash, the party caught wind of Ghargut Zhol’s next target, the light blue stone (air, used for ventilating the mines), belonging to the dwarven King Grock in the capital of Durheim, a mining metropolis beneath the mountain peaks.
Along their harsh winter journey across the mountains, the party met the dwarf Kragga, riding atop a light blue dragon (Skye). Kragga turned out to be the bastard son of the dwarven king, and invited the party for dinner, where the entire royal family (aside from Kragga and princess peach) and many of the city’s nobles were murdered via poisoned famous roasted duck chili.
Showing up to claim the light blue wyrmstone from his newest accomplice, Wario, was none other than Ghargut Zhol, who mocked the party before unleashing a beam of purple energy toward them. Leaping up to protect the party, Skye hurled himself forward, unfurling his massive wings to shelter the heroes, but sacrificing his life in the act.
After the chaos settled down, the party sought the resting place of Dwayne Johnson, the third mage, within the depths of the mountain. However, they were deceived all along by a mindflayer who pretended to be Dwayne, and stole the heart of the mountain (a stone imbued with ancestral Dwarven memories) for himself. During the showdown, two of the party member sacrificed their brains for the greater good, and the mindflayer escaped with the heart of the mountain.
After a rather bittersweet victory, the heroes reforged the light blue stone and restored air flow to the city. With barely a moment to catch their breath, the party was tasked with tracking a missing weapons shipment sent to Aerheim, Durhiem’s sister city above the mountain.
They delivered the shipment to Thrain, a burly hill dwarf/inventor, who was hosting an opening festival for the sky network, a hot air balloon shuttle system designed to carry goods and passengers across the continent. As testament to the design’s infallibility, 20 lucky winners (including all 5 party members) were chosen from a raffle to embark on the sky network’s virgin journey to Reyodel, the elven kingdom.
As luck would have it, the balloon was attacked by Ghargut Zhol’s forces, and the ship had to emergency land in the midst of the Fey Wilds. Fortunately, the party discovered the roaming city of Mycopolis, located atop Larry, the giant snail. Unfortunately, many of its citizens were notably catatonic, under the effects of a foul batch of mystic mushroom, after Larry had ventured deep within the fey wilds, where he grazed on some tainted purple moss.
The party set out into the fey wilds to identify the source of the contamination, only to hear the familiar cackle of Clover, one of the night hags the party encountered earlier. Through much grit, sweat, and blood, the party defeated the old hag and cleansed the forest of her blight.
They then flew back to Reyodel, the elven capital, known for the electricity lighting its streets at night. Upon arrival, however, the city was shadowed in darkness during a five-day power outage. After some investigation, the party learned that the queen had recently gone missing. They also discovered that the elves could store their attributes in gem-encrusted bracers on their arms, and tap into these reserves when needed.
They eventually ventured into Newton’s Nexus, and discovered a withered old lady and a pair of bracers cast beneath a battery tank. After providing the old wretch with her bracers, the party suddenly found themselves standing before Queen Viglor, who had been using her bracers to store her youth. She explained that she was accosted while on her way to charge the city with the yellow wyrmstone, but her staff was now stolen.
Tasked with restoring the flow of electricity to the city, the party explored the tomb of Professor Fig Newton, seeking to recreate the yellow dragon shard. To do this, they would need the skull of a topaz dragon, and rumor has it, one was just seen off the coast of a nearby city.
What lies ahead remains shrouded in mystery that only time can unravel. Do you have what it takes to challenge the dark forces and prevent the world we know from falling into chaos?

2024.05.20 05:51 Jester1525 Armor and Cover

Hey all-
I wanted to get some feedback on this cover and armor mechanic if anyone has a chance to look. I'll give a bit of information about the mechanics of the game just so this, hopefully, makes a little sense.
All tests, including attacks, are made with between 1-5 d10s depending on circumstances:
Always die - Characters always roll one die Boon die - Character has a boon or skill in that activity Advantage die - Character is at an advantage for any number of reasons On a Roll die - characters occasionally earn an extra die they can use on a future test. Bane die - Character is at a disadvantage for any number of reasons. They roll the bane die but must remove one success from their total.
Usually a character rolls 1 or 2 dice.
If any die rolls below their stat (between 3 and 8) it's counted as a success. The number of successes equals how well they did from -1 success to 4+ successes.
For combat the damage is based of successes, usually with a modifier of some sort
Max1 - 1 Physical Damage, or PD, regardless of number of successes Max 2 - max of 2 PD regardless of successes Successes (S) - Damage is equal to the number of successes S1 - PD equal to number of successes plus 1 S2 - PD equal to number of successes plus 2
For reference, characters have 9PD points
ARMOR
I'm torn on how to do armor.. Super simple or more complicated.
Super Simple: Armor is either Rank 1 or rank 2. One rank of armor reduces all PD by 1.Rank 2 reduces PD by 2. Easy enough.
More Complicated: Rank 1 - reduced all damage from Cut, Stab, Crush, and Ballistic damage by 1 Rank 2 - reduced all damage from Cut, Stab, Crush, and Ballistic damage by 1 and one specific type of damage by 2PD. Rank 3 - reduced all damage from Cut, Stab, Crush, and Ballistic damage by 1 and either one specific type by 3PD or 2 different types by 2PD. (for example - all damage by 1, ballistic by 3 or All damage by 1 and ballistic and stab by 2)
There are other damage types - that aren't affected by Rank 1 (Concussive, cold, heat, poison, acid, smoke, electric) but they can be the additional protection on Rank 2 for specific armor types (hazmat suit or demolition suit)
But I'm worried that it's TOO complicated? Or I should say that I've gotten some feedback that it's too complicated..
Cover
For cover, originally I had cover allowed the target to roll a contested roll (both roll, subtract defender successes from attackers for total successes - this is how melee combat works) but I think that would slow things down too much. So now I'm thinking of having 3 levels of cover:
Obscuring cover - it's not going to provide real protection, but does hide the exact location of the hider (a curtain, a table flipped into its side, or just a bunch of bushes. Attacking a character through light cover is more difficult to hit so it gives the attacker a BANE die (they roll an extra die, but must remove one total success).
Semi-solid cover - This cover is actually protective so it reduces damage by 1 and gives the attacker a BANE die
Solid Cover - Gives Attacker Bane Die and provides a 2PD reduction in damage. Can also be used to 'hunker down' where a character uses no actions that could expose them to incoming fire, such as moving or shooting, but they cannot take damage from a direct attack (such as shooting). They can talk, reload, grab something, or any action that doesn't expose them to attack. Indirect attacks, such as grenades thrown past the cover, would still potentially do damage)

2024.05.20 05:50 InternationalRow3133 Getting my first credit card want to build credit

I'm a young guy, and I'm entering my junior year of college at 19 years old. I have received a scholarship that pays for my tuition and gives me an annual stipend of $29,000 a year that will be mine entirely. I have no debt as the GI Bill paid for my first two years of college, and I have about $1000 in a savings account from other means. The scholarship requirements are that I have a two-year obligation to work at a cybersecurity company after that has been selected for me. I have zero credit and want to build credit for these last two years of college for the possibility of buying a house after graduation. I just wanted to know if y'all had any recommendations for credit cards.

🔗Elegant Handmade Mink Fake Eyelashes Set for Enhanced Confidence

I recently tried the DYSILK Cat Eye Lashes, and I was impressed by both their quality and how natural they look. These lashes are a perfect blend of drama and subtlety, providing the ideal touch of glamour.
One of the standout features is the handmade quality of these false eyelashes. Each individual eyelash feels soft and delicate, making them extremely comfortable to wear. They have the right thickness and curl, ensuring they look and feel like your natural lashes. The best part is that they are reusable, offering great value for money, especially with proper care.
Applying these lashes is a breeze - they're plump, fluffy, and easy to work with. You can gently curve them to fit the shape of your eyes, and the soft base makes them effortless to remove. The absence of glue in the packaging is a bonus, but a small amount is necessary for fixing the eyelashes in place. Just make sure not to apply too much, or you'll need to wipe it off before using them.
Apart from the practicality, these lashes come in a unique and cute design, making them an excellent gift option for special occasions like birthdays, Mother's Day, or Valentine's Day. I highly recommend DYSILK's Cat Eye Lashes to anyone looking for a natural-looking, high-quality, and reusable false eyelash experience.

These Thuy Double Layer Natural False Eyelashes are a game-changer, offering the perfect balance of drama and naturalness. I've used them on various occasions, and they've never failed to impress.
The lashes are so well-made that they look like they're part of your own eyelashes—a natural-looking cat eye without any fuss. They're also incredibly lightweight, making them comfortable to wear all day long.
The application process is a breeze too—they glide on smoothly without any discomfort. My only regret is that I wish they came in more shades, as I'd love to try out their entire range.
Overall, I highly recommend Thuy Double Layer Natural False Eyelashes to anyone who wants to enhance their look without compromising on comfort or style.

🔗Premium Wispy Eyelash Extensions - Curl and PBT Material for Long-Lasting Curls

https://preview.redd.it/5xw7jruc7i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14b3a711d5d4e6505652a0ec0603e884a90d6d3c
I recently had the chance to try out LANKIZ's eyelash extensions, specifically their "C curl" version. As someone who enjoys experimenting with different eyelash styles, I was excited to give these a try.
First and foremost, the design of the lashes stood out to me right away. The "C curl" style gives off a stylish appearance, making my eyes pop in a subtle yet noticeable way. I also appreciated that they were hypoallergenic, as I sometimes experience irritation from other extensions I've tried in the past.
When it came to the application process, these extensions were easy to work with, even for someone like me who isn't quite an expert in applying eyelash extensions. They were also incredibly lightweight, which made them comfortable to wear throughout the day.
One of the highlights for me was the fact that these lashes are made with PBT material, which helped to enhance their durability. They held their curl for a impressive three months, even after the natural lashes fell out. However, I did notice that there was a slight glue residue left on the lashes after removing them, which wasn't a major inconvenience but something to be mindful of.
Overall, my experience with LANKIZ's eyelash extensions was a positive one. They offered a comfortable and stylish look that was perfect for those who want to enhance their natural lashes.

🔗Charming Wispy Flutter Eyelashes Extensions for Stunning Eyes

I've had the pleasure of trying these fluffy false lashes, and I must say, they truly make my eyes look charming and bright. The lightweight design, coupled with their easy application, makes them a go-to choice for my daily makeup routine.
One of the standout features is their durability. With proper use and storage, these wispy lashes can be reused multiple times, which is a great bonus for someone like me who wants to save a few bucks while still looking fabulous. The lashes themselves have a natural-looking flair, almost as if they're extensions rather than false lashes.
However, I did notice that they're a bit finicky to apply at first, especially if you're not used to false lashes. But once you get the hang of it, they become a breeze to work with. Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase, and I think these fluffy false eyelashes will indeed make my life more beautiful, all while being cruelty-free and environmentally friendly.

🔗Cat Eye Lashes - Fluffy, Lightweight, Wispy, Perfect for Glam Up

These Mebver False Eyelashes have been a game changer in my daily makeup routine. The wispy lashes provide a natural, fluffy look that makes my eyes pop and look more attractive.
I love the lightweight feel and ease of application. It's refreshing to know that these lashes are cruelty-free and environmentally-friendly.
The perfect length also adds a touch of sexiness to my look, and I appreciate that they can be reused multiple times, saving me both time and money. Overall, the Mebver False Eyelashes have greatly improved my beauty routine.

🔗High-Quality False Eyelashes for Charming and Glam Look

I recently gave Eliace Lashes Luxury False Eyelashes - Wispies Natural 3D Mink Eyelashes a spin, and I must say, I'm quite impressed. These lashes are the perfect combination of natural and glamorous, thanks to their full, fluffy volume that gives you a stunning, dramatic look without appearing too over-the-top.
One of the key highlights for me was the comfort level - these lashes fit seamlessly and are super lightweight. They're effortless to apply and remove, making them ideal for a quick, on-the-go touch-up. The natural look of these lashes also means they blend in perfectly with my own eyelashes, creating a more authentic, everyday look.
However, there are a couple of cons to consider. These lashes might be a bit too long for some users, particularly those who wear glasses, as they could potentially interfere with your vision. Additionally, the lash line might be a bit thicker than expected for some - a minor issue, but it's worth mentioning. Overall, I'd highly recommend these lashes for anyone seeking a natural, chic look.

🔗Fluffy Volume 18mm Cat Eye Faux Mink False Eyelashes Pack (10 Pairs)

https://preview.redd.it/2ympvqbe7i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=edfb2ac0b25e2343c83a5ac07dcbec1aa4b513ef
I recently had the pleasure of using this set of 10 pairs false eyelashes for a special occasion, and I must say I was quite impressed. The plush 3D mink lashes gave my eyes a natural and attractive lift, making me feel confident and stylish. The cat-eye design of the eyelashes enhanced my eyes' shape and made them look wider and longer.
One of the best features of these eyelashes was their lightweight and non-irritant soft strips. Wearing them all day long was absolutely comfortable, causing no strain on my eyes or skin. Another advantage was the ease of applying and removing these fake eyelashes, thanks to the flexible and elastic lash bands.
The eyelashes were easy to trim to adjust their length according to the shape and length of my eyes. I appreciated the versatility of this set, which allowed me to enjoy the eyelashes for up to 10 times before needing a replacement. With these eyelashes, I had everything I needed to enhance my look for several months.
Overall, I highly recommend these 10 pairs of false eyelashes to anyone who wants to add a touch of elegance and allure to their eyes, while ensuring the utmost comfort and durability.

🔗Elegant Fluffy Curly Cat Eye False Eyelashes Set

I had the chance to use VEEJION's 7 pairs of curly false eyelashes recently, and I was quite impressed. What stood out to me was the ease of use and the variety in styles offered - they even caters to those who prefer a fuller look or a dramatic effect. The soft, cotton thread band not only feels comfortable on the eyes, but it also helps prevent any burden.
One thing that could use some improvement is the glue situation. The eyelashes do not come with any glue included, and it's up to the user to find their own. However, these are perfect for a beginner looking to enhance their look for a special night out or event. In the end, I believe that the unique and fluffy nature of these false eyelashes make them worth the extra effort.

🔗Mademoiselle Lash 3D False Lashes - Cat Eye Strip Lashes for a Flattering Look

Recently, I discovered the Tina Lashes, a 3D false lash that promises to create the perfect cat's eye look. I was hesitant to try them at first, but decided to go for it, and I'm so glad I did. What struck me the most was their subtlety. They perfectly mimic the shape of your natural lashes, creating a seamless and well-balanced winged effect. The blend of long and short lashes feels incredibly natural, yet still gives the illusion of a full, feathery lash.
One of the standout features of these lashes is their cruelty-free construction. Made from 100% silk, they are not only light on the eyes but also gentle on them. The lashes also last for up to 20 wears, proving to be a great value for the price.
However, I did find them slightly tricky to apply at first due to their intricate shape. Though, once I got the hang of it, it was a breeze. Overall, these Tina Lashes were a game changer for me, and I can't wait to try out more styles from the brand. Definitely worth the investment!

Buyer's Guide

If you're looking to make a bold statement with your makeup, cat eye lashes may be the perfect addition to your beauty routine. These lashes are designed to create a dramatically elongated, swooping effect on the eyes, giving you a sultry, alluring look. In this buyer's guide, we'll discuss the important features and considerations to keep in mind when selecting cat eye lashes.

https://preview.redd.it/x1yq4hif7i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5818c9524eb5d04a4267967a7700943ea0f885da

Materials

When shopping for cat eye lashes, it's essential to consider the materials used in their construction. Most cat eye lashes are made from synthetic fibers, such as synthetic mink or silk, which offer a natural, fluttery look. However, some cat eye lashes may be made from real animal fur, such as mink or sable, providing an even more luxurious and authentic appearance. Ensure that you choose a material that's cruelty-free and aligns with your personal beliefs and values.

Application

Applying cat eye lashes can be a bit tricky, but with the right techniques, you can achieve a flawless look. Look for lashes with built-in applicators or a sturdy lash glue, which will help you apply the lashes evenly and securely. It's also crucial to apply the lashes carefully, focusing on the natural shape and curve of your eyes to avoid an unnatural or messy appearance. Take your time and practice until you feel confident in your application technique.

https://preview.redd.it/1lv9vnyf7i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=65c53c00dfa630f270c9e4239f272c494f76e0e1

Style and Length

Cat eye lashes come in various styles and lengths, so it's essential to choose the ones that best suit your eye shape and desired effect. For example, if you have a more almond-shaped eye, you may prefer a lash with a more curved and dramatic shape. If you have an eye with a more hooded or monolid shape, a flatter and less curved lash may work better. Additionally, consider the length of the lashes, as longer lashes can create a more dramatic and bold look, while shorter lashes can be more subtle and natural-looking.

Maintenance and Care

To ensure your cat eye lashes last as long as possible, it's essential to follow proper maintenance and care techniques. Remove the lashes gently after use, avoiding any rough or abrasive materials that could damage the fibers. Store the lashes in a dry, clean environment away from direct sunlight and heat, which can cause the fibers to deteriorate and lose their shape. Additionally, consider using a lash serum or conditioner to maintain the health and integrity of your lashes over time.
Selecting the perfect cat eye lashes can be an exciting and transformative experience, allowing you to express your unique style and beauty. When shopping for cat eye lashes, keep the materials, application, style, length, and maintenance in mind. By doing so, you'll be well-equipped to choose the right lashes for your needs and achieve a stunning, dramatic look that you'll love.

FAQ

What are Cat Eye Lashes?

Cat Eye Lashes, also known as faux cat eyes, are a type of cosmetic eyelash that is designed to mimic the appearance of a cat's or a feline's eye shape. These lashes are typically made from synthetic materials such as silk, mink, or fiber and are available in various styles, lengths, and naturalness levels. They are used to enhance the eyes and provide a unique and sophisticated look to the wearer.

https://preview.redd.it/ao9ggqog7i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6fd9e608982ad1a98e9a0f44fdafa248d06be1fc

How do I apply Cat Eye Lashes?

Applying Cat Eye Lashes requires some skill and attention to detail, but with practice and the right products, it can be accomplished easily. First, clean your eyelids and remove any makeup or debris. Next, apply a thin layer of lash glue onto the upper eyelid. Wait for the glue to become tacky, and then gently place the Cat Eye Lashes onto the eyelid. Adjust the lashes as needed and hold in place until the glue dries. For a more natural look, you can trim the excess length of the lashes using a pair of scissors or a nail file.

Are Cat Eye Lashes suitable for all occasions?

  • Yes, Cat Eye Lashes can be worn for various occasions, including casual events, parties, and even special occasions like weddings or formal gatherings.
  • However, it's essential to consider the type of Cat Eye Lashes you are using and the occasion's dress code. For example, if you are attending a more formal event, it's better to opt for a more natural look with minimal glitter or sparkle.
  • Additionally, if you have sensitive eyes or allergies, it's crucial to choose hypoallergenic lashes and avoid using any products that may cause irritation or discomfort.

How long do Cat Eye Lashes last?

The longevity of Cat Eye Lashes depends on various factors such as the type of lashes, the quality of the lash glue used, and the wearer's eye health. Generally, Cat Eye Lashes can last anywhere from 2 to 7 days, with some high-quality lashes lasting longer. It's essential to take proper care of your lashes by following a gentle skincare routine around the eyes and avoiding any harsh chemicals or makeup removers that may damage the lashes.

What are some tips for maintaining my Cat Eye Lashes?

  • Gently clean your eyelids and lashes with warm water and a mild cleanser to remove any makeup or debris.
  • Avoid using harsh makeup removers or chemicals that may damage the lashes.
  • If your lashes are still intact after their recommended lifespan, you can reapply a new pair of lashes to extend their usage.
  • To store your Cat Eye Lashes, place them in a clean container or a lash holder that will protect them from any damage.

As a pet owner, I was ecstatic to try this waterproof couch cover for my furry friends. I was pleasantly surprised by its high-quality French Terry fabric, which is not only waterproof and leak-proof but also non-sticky for pet hair. The thick, durable fabric is resistant to my pets' grasping, making it last longer than other couch covers I've tried.
One feature that truly stood out was the non-slip design on the back, which makes it suitable for leather sofas as well. Plus, it's machine washable and wrinkle-proof, so keeping it clean and presentable is a breeze. The universal fit and easy installation process are added bonuses that save me the inconvenience of dealing with stretch covers.
However, it's crucial to note that choosing the right size can be tricky, so I would recommend carefully measuring your sofa or consulting the provided size suggestions to ensure the best fit. Overall, this couch cover has enhanced the comfort and cleanliness of my living space, making it perfect for pet owners like me.

As a homebody who loves to chill on my couch, I've recently tried out the Deep Dream Couch Cover for my 3-cushion sectional. First off, it's made by Warm Star, a US registered brand, which gave me some peace of mind before making the purchase.
The cover is handmade, and while there might be some minor errors of up to 2 inches, that's no deal-breaker for me. Plus, the cover is perfect for our furry friends! . It's designed to protect our couch from claw marks and other pet-related damage.
The cover is designed to be easily adjustable and fitted to any adjustable sectional sofa. While it's made up of a bunch of separate pieces, it's perfect for protecting every part of your couch - cushions, armrests, and backrests.
It's a bit of a fiddle to put on, but the anti-slip feature ensures that the cover stays put. Overall, it's a great solution for those who want to keep their couch in tip-top shape while also allowing their pets to enjoy lounging on it.

🔗Transparent, Removable Cat Scratching Guard for Couch, Sofa, and Furniture

I have been using these cat couch protectors from Caileni for a few weeks now and they truly have saved my furniture from the relentless claws of my feline friends. The transparent vinyl sheets are durable and thick enough to deter cats from scratching, yet flexible enough to bend around the contours of my couch, ensuring smooth sailing.
The twist pins are about 1.3cm long and their design prevents them from damaging my fabric sofa. I also tried it on a leather furniture and was impressed with how the self-adhesive sheet protected the material without leaving any visible marks.
When I felt it was time to move the protectors, they were easy to remove and didn't leave any marks behind. The twist pins can be easily disconnected and reconnected, making the protectors reusable. This is not only economical but also environmentally friendly.
The best part about the Caileni cat couch protectors is that they are 100% transparent, blending seamlessly with my interior decoration. They are virtually invisible when installed correctly and my couch continues to look as good as new.
The installation process is a breeze. All you need is a self-adhesive pad, a few twist pins, and some adhesive power to stick it to its location on your furniture. It took less than a minute to cover the entire couch, and my cats have been deterred from scratching ever since.
All in all, these cat couch protectors from Caileni have been a game-changer in protecting my furniture from my playful cats. They are durable, easy to install, and virtually invisible, making them the perfect solution for all cat owners seeking to preserve their furniture. However, they might not be suitable for all couch sizes, so make sure to measure your couch before buying.

🔗Durable and Non-Sticky Cat Couch Protectors

https://preview.redd.it/x39lspey6i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef7ab6204c062519eb68a803d38b7cce8ab926ea
As a cat owner, I know firsthand how important it is to keep my furniture safe from feline claws. That's why I tried out the Catway Furniture Protectors. These bad boys are not only effective but also humane, ensuring that both your furniture and your feline friend stay happy.
A standout feature of these protectors is their precision fit sheets. Each package comes with 10 durable adhesive sheets measuring 16 x 12 inches, perfect for covering chairs, sofas, cat trees, and more. What's more, they stick onto any surface seamlessly, blending in with your home's decor rather than drawing attention to themselves.
Applying them is a breeze thanks to their easy-to-remove backing. And when it's time for a replacement, rest assured that they leave no residue behind on your furniture. Their subtle transparent appearance is just icing on the cake.
But what truly sets these protectors apart is how they deter cats from scratching. They're designed with a non-sticky surface that feels unpleasant to cats' paws, discouraging them from scratching without causing any harm. This approach, while gentle, has been successful for many pet owners who've found an alternative to harsh methods.
In terms of performance, these protectors can withstand regular wear and tear, lasting several months before needing replacement. And despite their durability, they remain gentle on surfaces, ensuring they don't damage your beloved belongings.
All in all, the Catway Furniture Protectors are a game-changer for cat owners seeking a humane solution to feline scratching. They offer effective protection, easy application, and a design that respects both cats and their humans. Highly recommended!

I recently got my hands on the U-LIAN Furniture Protector, a practical solution to keep my cat's claws off my beautiful couch. The package came with 12 sheets, making it easy to cover my couch decor in just a few steps. I particularly appreciated the durability of these protectors - they stood up against my cat's scratching attempts.
One feature I especially liked was the option to cut the protector to size if needed, allowing for a perfect fit. However, a downside was the chemicals in the product, which could potentially cause harm; California has identified some of these chemicals as cancer-causing substances. Nevertheless, these Furniture Protectors have been a game-changer in maintaining the integrity of my couch while keeping my cat entertained.

🔗Transparent, Strong, and Feline-Proof Couch Protector (5.9in x 20 Yards)

I recently tried out the FTSTC 5.9in Furniture Protectors designed to deter my cats from scratching up our couch. As a proud cat owner, I've always been wary of products that could potentially harm their delicate paws. However, this transparent, double-sided cat couch guard proved to be an excellent solution! It's incredibly durable, and unlike some other options on the market, it bends just enough to follow the contours of your furniture.
The highlight for me was the "no damage" feature. Not only is it easy to apply with no residue left behind once removed, but its twist pins are super easy to disconnect, making it reusable. Plus, it's so unobtrusive - you'd hardly notice it was there unless you were looking closely.
One downside is that over time, our pets have discovered how to scratch around it. So while it wasn't 100% foolproof, it did give us a good start in protecting our couch from their love for scratching. Overall, I give this product a solid four out of five stars.

🔗Stop The Scratch Furniture Protector Sheets for Cats & Dogs

Emmy's Best Pet Products Stop The Scratch Furniture Protector Sheets are like magic for any cat owner with their easy-to-use, sticky sheets that discourage your feline friend from scratching away at your couch, doors, or other hard surfaces. I personally used these on my own couch and, I must say, the way they deter my cat from coming perilously close to my precious couch is quite impressive.
The sheets are available in multiple sizes, so you can provide ample cover for all your scratch prone areas. If you need a custom fit, you can easily trim the sheets using scissors. What I love most about these sheets is how sticky they are without leaving any residue. It's perfect for those of us who frequently rearrange our living spaces.
One downside, though, is that my cat sometimes succeeds in tearing off the sheets. But hey, no foolproof solution exists when it comes to cats, right? Overall, I'd say Emmy's Best Pet Products are a pawsome solution for cat lovers wanting to protect their furniture.

What are cat couch protectors?

Cat couch protectors are designed to provide a protective layer over your furniture, preventing scratches, hair, and dander from accumulating. These covers help maintain the integrity and appearance of your couch while keeping it clean and free from damage.

Why should I use a cat couch protector?

A cat couch protector can help keep your couch looking new by protecting it from scratches, claw marks, and other damage caused by your cat. Additionally, it helps to minimize the transfer of pet hair, dander, and odors onto your couch, making it more comfortable for both you and your feline companion.

How to properly install a cat couch protector?

To install a cat couch protector, first, lay the cover flat on the ground with the smooth side facing up. Next, place your couch on top of the cover and align it properly. Pull the cover around the couch, ensuring that the fabric is tight and free of wrinkles. Finally, secure the cover with any hooks, ties, or Velcro closures provided. Consult the instructions included with your specific product for more detailed information.

What materials are cat couch protectors made from?

Cat couch protectors can be made from various materials such as polyester, microfiber, and micro-velvet. These materials are easy to clean, durable, and provide a comfortable surface for your pet to relax on. Some couch protectors also have water-resistant or odor-resistant properties, making them ideal for messy or smelly situations.

How do I wash a cat couch protector?

The washing instructions for cat couch protectors can vary depending on the specific material and product. Generally, you can wash these protectors using a mild detergent in cold or lukewarm water. Some protectors can be safely machine-washed, while others may require hand washing. Check the manufacturer's care instructions included with your product for proper washing methods.

How can I prevent my cat from scratching the couch protector?

To discourage your cat from scratching the couch protector, provide them with alternative surfaces such as scratching posts or pads. Additionally, you can use double-sided tape or deterrent sprays on the couch protector, making it less appealing for your cat to scratch. Can I use a couch protector for furniture other than sofas?

Yes, cat couch protectors may be designed to fit various pieces of furniture such as loveseats, recliners, sectionals, and even armchairs. Be sure to check the product compatibility and dimensions before making a purchase. Some companies offer custom measurements as well, to ensure a tailored fit for your specific furniture piece.

How can I know if a couch protector is suitable for my cat's weight and size?

When selecting a couch protector, pay close attention to the product's weight and dimensions specifications. These details will give you an accurate idea of whether the protector is suitable for your cat's size and weight. If your cat has special needs or is particularly larger or heavier than most, consider choosing a couch protector made from a heavy-duty, durable material designed to withstand wear and tear.

How can I determine if a couch protector fits my sofa?

To ensure a proper fit for your couch protector, take accurate measurements of your sofa, including the length, width, and depth. Additionally, note the dimensions and shape of any armrests, cushions, or pillows that the couch protector must accommodate. Compare these measurements with the specifications provided by the couch protector manufacturer, ensuring that the dimensions are compatible. Some manufacturers also offer templates or photos that can help you visualize how the protector will look on your sofa.

How long does a couch protector last?

The lifespan of a couch protector is dependent on factors such as material quality, usage frequency, and proper care and maintenance. On average, a well-cared-for couch protector can last for several years. To prolong the life of your couch protector, follow the manufacturer's care instructions, use gentle cleaning techniques, and avoid exposing it to excessive sunlight or heat, which can cause fading and material degradation over time.

Are cat couch protectors safe for cats with allergies or sensitive skin?

Some cat couch protectors are designed to be hypoallergenic, breathable, and free from harsh chemicals, which may benefit cats with allergies or sensitive skin. To ensure your cat's safety and comfort, choose a couch protector made from a hypoallergenic material and consult with your veterinarian for advice on selecting products that suit your cat's specific needs.

Can I use more than one couch protector on my sofa?

Yes, it is possible to use multiple couch protectors on your sofa, especially if the couch is particularly large or if you wish to provide extra protection to specific areas such as the arms or back. When using multiple protectors, ensure that they are securely fastened and do not interfere with your cat's comfort while using the couch.

How can I store my couch protector when not in use?

To store your couch protector when it is not in use, first, fold it neatly and lay it flat on a clean surface. Try to prevent creases by smoothing the fabric and gently folding it along seam lines, if applicable. Store the protector in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, damp or humid environments, and sources of heat, which can cause material fading or degradation over time. For easy access and re-installation, consider using a storage bag or container with a secure lid or closure.

How do I choose the right color and pattern for my couch protector?

When selecting the color and pattern of your couch protector, consider the style and decor of your room, as well as your personal preferences. Some protectors come in neutral colors such as beige, gray, or black, which can easily blend with most interior design schemes. Others feature bold prints or vibrant colors, adding a fun, playful touch to your couch. You may also want to choose a pattern that coordinates with your existing couch upholstery or throw pillows to create a cohesive, stylish look in your living space.

🔗Green Tiered A-line Dress for Women by INC International Concepts

https://preview.redd.it/3xbavi1y5i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c979ca91dd89a99ea8cec7839ae9a0d11306858a

I recently had the pleasure of trying on the Inc Women's Tiered V Neck A Line Dress in a lovely green shade. I must say, this dress has become a staple in my wardrobe for those days when I want to effortlessly transition from day to night. The self-tie belt at the waistline not only adds a chic touch but also highlights my figure, making me feel confident all day long. The tiered ruffle skirt falls gracefully to a mid-calf length, adding a fun and flirty touch to the overall look.
One of the standout features of this dress is its ability to seamlessly take me from my office desk to dinner with friends. The V-neckline provides just the right amount of sophistication for the office, while the ruffles and self-tie belt add an extra edge for a night out. I also appreciate the green color, as it's versatile enough to pair with various accessories and shoes.
While there isn't a whole lot to dislike about this dress, I will say that it may not be the most ideal option for those who prefer a looser fit. The self-tie belt helps to define the waistline, but those with broader hips may find the fit slightly less comfortable. Additionally, the sizing may run a bit small, so be sure to consult the size chart before making a purchase.
All in all, I absolutely adore the Inc Women's Tiered V Neck A Line Dress in green. It's the perfect piece for those looking to add a touch of femininity to their wardrobe while remaining both stylish and versatile.

I recently got my hands on this fabulous Emerald Green High-Low Maxi Dress from Maniju, and it has quickly become my go-to piece for events and gatherings. The moment I tried it on, I fell in love with the apron neckline - it's a trendy twist on a classic maxi dress style.
The high-low hem adds a touch of flair to this already stunning ensemble, making it a show-stealer at any event. The hidden back zipper ensures a seamless finish, while the adjustable spaghetti straps provide flexibility in fitting.
Overall, I feel confident and stylish when I slip into this emerald green beauty, and it's definitely a dress I'll be wearing time and time again. The only downside, if I must pick one, is that it might be a little too showy for some low-key occasions, but that's easily forgiven considering how fabulous I feel when wearing it.

🔗Casual Green Front Twist Dress

https://preview.redd.it/65kd84vy5i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95bd297453b6d30e6cfca7348cf91bf74631789e

I was thrilled when I came across the Cupshe Army Twist Sleeveless Mini Dress in my favorite color, Dark Green. As a fashion enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for unique pieces that stand out in a crowd. This dress does exactly that with its intricate front twist detail, smocked waist, and X-shape silhouette, making it a perfect blend of edgy and chic.
The first thing I noticed about this dress was its high-quality fabric. Made from 100% rayon, it's not only comfortable to wear but also drapes beautifully on my body. The scoop neckline adds a feminine touch to this otherwise bold design.
One minor issue I encountered was the sizing. I usually wear an M, but I found it to be slightly tight around the waist. I suggest ordering a size up if you're unsure about your sizing.
Overall, the Cupshe Army Twist Sleeveless Mini Dress is a great addition to my wardrobe. Its unique design and comfortable material make it perfect for both casual outings and more formal events. I highly recommend giving this fashion-forward piece a try!

🔗Summer Empire Waist Dress with Pockets

I can't say enough about this versatile army green dress. The moment I pulled it out of the package, I could tell it was made from high-quality fabric. It's 95% Rayon and 5% Spandex, giving the exact right blend of comfort and flexibility. I just love the way it hugs my figure without being too tight. The empire waist is really flattering and helps define my waistline. Plus, the dress has pockets - a feature that's always a winner in my book!
One of the things I appreciate most about this dress is how versatile it is. I've worn it casually with a pair of flats and I've dressed it up with some high heels and statement jewelry for a more formal occasion. It washes really well and doesn't lose its shape or color. I've even worn it to the beach and it worked perfectly with a pair of flip-flops and sunglasses.
One minor negative is that the model's photos are a tad misleading, as the dress feels a bit longer on me than what's shown in the pictures. However, it's not a deal-breaker for me.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase of this army green dress. It's comfortable, versatile, and fits me perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish addition to their wardrobe.

The scoop neckline adds an extra touch of flirtiness, making this dress super versatile.
Pair it with flats for a laid-back vibe, sneakers for a casual look, or even wedges for a dressier feel - the possibilities are endless! . Plus, the green hue adds a pop of color to any outfit. It's a wardrobe staple that's perfect for any low-key gathering.

🔗Lulus Sleeveless Twirl Wrap Dress in Emerald Green

I recently purchased the Lulus My Whole Heart Emerald Green Long Sleeve Wrap Dress in size medium, and I have to say, it's my new go-to dress for special occasions. The moment I put it on, I felt a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The emerald green color adds a vibrant touch to any event, while the long sleeves provide a modest yet stylish look.
One of my favorite features is the self-tie cinch, which adds a distinctive touch to the overall design. It's perfect for those moments when you want to feel a little extra glamour. Plus, the front slit creates a sassy appearance that is sure to turn heads.
However, there are a few things that could be improved. The polyester fabric has great movement but can be a bit warm during summer events. Additionally, although the wrap bodice is stunning, it does require some adjustment to ensure the perfect fit.
Overall, I absolutely love the Lulus My Whole Heart Emerald Green Long Sleeve Wrap Dress and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and stylish evening dress. The twirly skirt and self-tie feature make it a standout piece that is sure to be a hit at any event. Just remember to keep an eye on the fabric's breathability and the wrap's fit for the best experience.

I recently had the pleasure of sporting the DB Moon Women's Casual Long Sleeve Dress, and let me tell you, it's quickly become one of my go-to outfits! This lovely green dress is not only stylish but super comfortable too, making it perfect for any casual occasion. The fabric is a wonderful blend of polyester and spandex that feels incredibly soft against my skin. Additionally, it's lightweight, breathable, and has just the right amount of stretch to allow for freedom of movement throughout the day.
One of my favorite features of this dress is definitely the hidden pockets - so practical and convenient! The round neck and elastic waist add an extra touch of comfort, ensuring that I never have to worry about fighting with an uncomfortably tight waistband. Plus, the elastic waist seam helps keep the skirt from dragging down the bodice, strike a perfect balance of fit and looseness.
Machine washable and hand washable, this dress is not only easy to care for but also boasts numerous care instructions to maintain its pristine condition. With low temperature water and a gentle wash cycle, you can keep this dress looking like new for many wears to come.
While there aren't any immediate drawbacks to this dress, I would love to see a slightly wider range of sizes available. However, that hasn't stopped me from wearing it regularly and receiving numerous compliments on its lovely green hue and casual, easy-going style.

🔗Green Belted Maxi Dress by Cupshe

https://preview.redd.it/xe81ryu06i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3eefd8b33f3bb731abada88bac6d933634cd3dd2
I recently decided to go for a night out with friends and I was in a desperate need of a dress that would make a statement. As I was browsing through the Cupshe collection online, I came across this In the Groove Emerald Belted Maxi Dress. The color was lovely and the belted waist looked so flattering! I ordered my XS size and it arrived just in time for the occasion.
As soon as I tried it on, I couldn't believe how comfortable and stylish it looked. The ribbed velvet gave it a luxurious feel and the surplice neckline added a touch of elegance to it. What I loved the most was the self-tie sash belt, which allowed me to cinch in my waist for that perfect hourglass figure. Plus, with short sleeves and a flowy silhouette, it was the perfect blend of casual yet sophisticated.
Another great thing about this dress is that it's super easy to care for. It requires regular washing, making it convenient for daily wear or special occasions. The only downside I noticed was that it's made of 95% polyester and 5% spandex, which may not be the most breathable fabric for very hot weather.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this dress to anyone looking to elevate their style and make a statement at their next event.

🔗Versatile Women's Long Sleeve Boat Neck Pocket Dress

Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase of the Themogan Women's Casual Long Sleeve Boat Neck Knee Length Pocket A-Line Swing T-Shirt Dress in Forest Green. Its incredible comfort, versatility, and stylish design make it a must-have for any busy woman's wardrobe.

Buyer's Guide

Casual green dresses are versatile pieces of clothing that can easily be dressed up or down for various occasions. Whether you're attending a backyard barbecue, running errands, or simply lounging around the house, there's a green dress out there that will suit your needs. However, finding the perfect casual green dress can be challenging with so many options available. To make your shopping experience easier, we've compiled a buyer's guide detailing important features, considerations, and general advice about casual green dresses.

Choose the Right Fabric

https://preview.redd.it/cf5cj0s16i1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef938d41eb973e75f69ea4ffd1631fa5b7be93eb
The fabric plays a significant role in determining the comfort, breathability, and durability of your casual green dress. Opt for natural fibers like cotton, linen, or rayon for comfort and breathability. These fabrics are lightweight and perfect for warmer climates. On the other hand, polyester blends offer more structure and can withstand frequent washing without losing their shape. Consider each fabric's pros and cons before making your final decision.

Consider the Silhouette

Casual green dresses come in various silhouettes, from flowing maxi dresses to tailored midi dresses and shorter minis. The right silhouette depends on your personal style and body type. A-line dresses are universally flattering as they cinch at the waist and flare out towards the hem, creating an hourglass shape. Wrap dresses are another option that accentuates the waistline and offers ample coverage. Shirt dresses provide a more relaxed fit, making them ideal for laid-back days.

Pick the Right Length

Casual green dresses are available in different lengths, ranging from mini to maxi. Minis can be suitable for warmer weather or more casual events, while midi and maxi dresses are great for adding elegance and keeping cool in hotter climates. Ensure the length of your dress suits your personal style and comfort level. Additionally, check local dress codes if attending an event to ensure your dress meets any requirements.

Accessorize Appropriately

Casual green dresses can be accessorized in numerous ways to create various looks. Pair your dress with neutral-colored sandals or sneakers for a laid-back vibe. Dress it up with heeled pumps or wedges for a more polished appearance. Add statement jewelry like bold earrings or a chunky necklace to elevate your outfit further. A stylish clutch or crossbody bag helps carry essentials while maintaining the overall aesthetic of your ensemble.

Take Care of Your Dress

To prolong the life of your casual green dress, follow proper care instructions. Hand-washing is ideal to prevent color fading and fabric stretching. If machine-washing is necessary, use a gentle cycle and cold water to maintain garment quality. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can damage clothing materials. Lastly, always hang your dress to dry to preserve its shape and prevent wrinkles.
