Plans for airplane peddle cars

Mr.k and i knew each other for 10 years. We’ve been friends for that long. He lost his dad in 2015 and his mum in 2016 and life became really difficult for him and his siblings. But he worked hard and was successful and was taking care of his siblings. I was always proud of him. Around 2 years back i noticed he was starting to like me but i was seeing someone and he had situationships with others, so we never pursued it. But throughout these two years we got even closer. We talked almost everyday and met as much as we can. Around december last year i told him i planned on getting married next december and apparently he told his family he was getting married december (after we ended the call). But soon after i started seeing someone, things didnt work out it that guy and everything ended quickly but mr K knew. By 1st of may he moved back to thesame city as me and we started seeing each other more. We’re muslims so we dont court for years before getting married but we both agreed by end of the year we’d get married. We met each other every day. On thursday the 9th of may he was at my place. Before he came he told me he was only staying for 30 minutes because he had a metting by 10 pm. He came around 8:50 bUt stayed till 11:30. I had to practically beg him to leave because his friends were waiting for him for the meeting. We planned to have brunch on saturday. Friday evening he message as asked to come to my place but i wanted to finish watching finale of the circle so i told him no we’ll meet tomorrow and he said okay he’d go and get food to eat. After the call i finished watching my show, showered, and steam ironed the dress i was going to wear for our brunch. I picked up my phone and saw the worst thing ever. Mr. k had been shot. 3 bullets to the forehead and he died on spot. The shooters didnt touch anyone or ask for anything, they stopped their car, told his friends to get out, and shot and killed him. I was in shock. I kept texting him waiting for a response from him so i’d tell them he isnt dead. But he is. I’m completely crushed. His siblings have been calling me. And his friends men and women. People i didnt even know. They tell me all the things he said about me. Im completely shattered. I wish we had more time together. But i believe he’s in a better place. As muslims we believe any muslim that dies on a friday is going straight to heaven. So i take solace in knowing that.

AITA Cutting off my Brother after he blows Grandmother's Life Insurance Money on Camgirl.
Hi, so kind of a sticky fun situation to work through and I'm trying to figure out the best way to navigate things for my own mental health and for my brother to understand exactly what he has done.
For the past handful of years, my brother, 32M, has lived at home with my mom. This was before and after my step-dad, his dad, passed away very suddenly. I'm not sure exactly when it started before then or after, but he got basically addicted to a Camgirl from Columbia on one of those sites. He was already not doing well financially and genuinely couldn't have moved out if he wanted to but then whatever money he did have was being funneled directly to her via either site or direct payments. They talk in the phone, FaceTime, the whole 9 yards. He's never really been good with women but is still anti-social either, he's got an amazing group of friends. I can't imagine they know the full extent of everything going on. I'd imagine it's just immediate family.
This addiction, we fully accept that is what it is, has taken over to such a level that he can't afford a car, pay bills, racked up debt and he doesn't have the health insurance he DESPERATELY needs with pre-exisiting conditions and weight management. My mother has been trying intervention, sought after family counseling for her and him with someone specialized in this type of addiction but none of it has slowed things down. The alternative is basically throwing him out on the street, which no one wants either because we worry and have consistently worried about his mental health.
Recently, my grandmother passed away and disbursements started. I'm not personally recieving anything (step-kid and so not legitimately considered part of the family I grew up entirely in apparently) but my brothers will be. Not here to let money divide my family, it's not my call so whatever.
The problem arose because, due to the nature of a lot of his issues, his banking is monitored by me. So when it was brought up that hey, they got a life insurance pay out, I talked to a few people I knew about getting him a car for a good price and was going to pitch him this and setting up better ways for him to managed and eventually a place of his own. It's not a giant chunk of money but enough to really let him Kickstart his life. When I went to pull things to show him, it was gone. In 6 weeks about 20k was gone. Nearly 10k of it was to this camgirl. 6 weeks. I was beyond crushed and actually...really insulted. I really am trying to make sure this inherentence isn't a sticking point of being cut out of but finding out that basically SHE got more of my grandmother's legacy than I did? That was hard to swallow.
I had a long talk with him, showed him all the paperwork that I detailed and laid out and very plainly told him that I'm hurt for multiple reasons. That he's disregarded everyone around him, expects everyone else to pick up his fallen pieces; financially or otherwise, and destroyed whatever trust and faith I had that he could manage his own life. Therapy hasn't helped, poverty hasn't helped, pleading hasn't helped so I was very blunt that if this continues then I was done. We wouldn't have a relationship anymore, not that I wouldn't be around for family events or expect him to be around but 1 on 1 or time with my own household was over. It breaks my heart because he adores my kids and they do too. I just can't do it though, my wife fully agrees with me. We can't trust him.
He was so performative during this conversation, thanking me and acting dumbfounded that he could've spent every penny. That this was JUST the wake up call he needed.
I didn't buy it though and for good reason, addicts lie. It was literally the same day when more money was sent to her. Over and over.
Now we come to my AITA question. We have some very big family moments coming up. Weddings, funerals, milestone birthdays. My mom seems to want me to just put everything aside and make good. I reassured her that this isn't some grandstanding announcement, that I won't stand with him in pictures or make a scene but I won't be dealing with or seeing him during the other times. I have some things I'm planning for myself that I've invited others on and I'm being told to just go with my brother. This isn't a family function, it's something I want to do for me and don't feel like tainting it by shoving my current animosity down and playing nice.
I am worried and have always been worried that he stands on a razor's edge and don't want to...lose him, if you know what I mean. Lately though, he seems so dillusional that I genuinely don't think he understands what is even wrong. I think he's gotten really good at putting on a mask of shame or apology but then trots happily back to sabotaging his life with the full knowledge that if something really goes wrong, someone else will bail him out.
I'm just lost on what to do and resentful that I feel like I'm doing all the emotional hand wringing while he just blows past any boundary or line in the sand without a care for consequence. There's another much larger payout coming due here toward the end of the year and I fully expect it to just inadvertently destroy his life and there's nothing to be done about it when he just gives it all up for some fantasy that isn't real.

You ma'am were my everything, from the moment I first saw you walking to my tow truck. I was in aww of you in that moment I was so hooked I can't explain it in any other way. I just needed to get to know the real you. Looking back I wish I could have slowed everything down a lot because we moved so fast. Opened the door for you and got you up into the truck. At first she was impressed I even would do that for her. She said it made her feel special and no one had ever done that for her. As I walked back to my door to get in time for me started to slow as I thought about a million things at once I was so drawn to her wanted everything for her and me to be amazing and guys, it really was great from my seat. She's absolutely gorgeous, sweet yet she's a pretty bad ass chick though. She's into heavy metal and rock over anything. She's my only ginger I've ever dated in my life. So before her and I met I was always working and keeping to myself just trying to focus on myself but I lived in a hotel. So since her and I got hooked up together, we lived in my hotel which was not bad at all it was a fairly big hotel that offered reduced rates for long extended stays and they offered me a corporate discount. So it was fairly inexpensive as far as paying for the place but it was still extremely expensive compared to renting someplace. Don't know if it was all lie from delusional or what but everything I've read on here it all speaks to me so much that I honestly I really feel like I was lied to the entire time I was made to believe something that was never true This girl told me she loved me like 3 months in and I honestly felt it before that but I really think it was all just a facade now for her We found each other and we were broken pieces everywhere we started putting our lives together picking everything up putting ourselves back together and we felt more complete than anything is the way I saw our lives up until a year and a half into it though it was for me even with the little small breakups and stuff it was amazing It wouldn't trade it for the world soon as I found out I had cancer though guys It broke me I wasn't working I wasn't doing anything for myself and yeah that I regret I regret not just telling her right away because looking back now it may have helped but I doubt she would even cared She probably would have broke up with me then is how I feel now. But I never told her until almost 3 weeks after we broke up. The 17th of this month was my birthday my 38th birthday The day after is her 3-year-olds 3-year birthday. Which I didn't get to go to even though that little girl calls me dada loves me like there's no tomorrow and I love that little girl so so much she was like she was my daughter shortly after I found out I had cancer I was taking care of that little girl not working but taking care of her all day everyday for months in my house with her living here and my girlfriend living here while she worked. Then she's sitting here telling me griping at me that I need to get back working by about she can't be the only one working but then if I did that we wouldn't had a babysitter We would have nowhere for "Our daughter" She always insisted when I would say her daughter because she has a lot of hateful feelings towards her baby daddy. The other thing I forgot to mention is the fact that about 2 years into our relationship she went through a pretty major surgery for herself No one was there for her except for me I sat with her through the whole thing waited for her at the hospital I waited on her hand and foot at my place of living She laid in my bed took care of her gave her everything she needed and would do it again in a heartbeat The point is that I was there stood by her side took care of her in every way I needed to every way I could. In the first part of our relationship all the way through I'd say the first half She was always constantly wondering if I had eaten today or if I needed food or if I wanted her to cook me anything or I mean would she selflessly would do every single time she was happy to do it She loved doing it She loved being at the hotel and me coming home to a cooked meal how she would do it in her bra and underwear because just for shits and giggles you know She was the most sexually appetizing person I've been in with in my entire life number one and from day one of our relationship I never saw any other female on this planet My eyes never strayed not once they only saw her She was my everything. Fellas tell me when you fell in love If you ever felt the same because I know for me there was another woman on this planet that could ever even have compared to my woman she was so sexy so incredibly just mesmerizing for me and having her in my arms I felt complete I felt like a man I felt like I would move to heaven and earth for this woman and I was trying doing everything I could and it always just seemed like our little stupid spats and our bickering was so much more to her than it was to me because she would always end up leaving and going to her sisters. Her sister was and is so incredibly damaging for her mental state that I'm surprised that this woman has not killed herself yet She has no movement in her own life she's a stay-at-home girlfriend for her boyfriend of 16 15 16 years something like that and she is about a cow about 300 lb heifer that has always been jealous of anything the little sister gets that makes her happy that makes her have a better life than what big sister has then big sister has to sit there and destroy little sisters mental state just to bring her back down so she can feel good about her own self So anytime she ever went back there that's exactly what happened Big sister would just tear her down and break her down and it's just sick and that's where I think first mistake for us ever went was allowing her to move in there because as soon as she did seem like everything started going downhill and that's when I started finding things out about how much she was actually lying to me about stupid silly little things because her brother in-law and sister would talk to her about our relationship at night when they're all home together or whenever and they'd be giving her advice when these two are alcoholics they will not ever get married even though they've been together forever but this is just to not lose social security crap it's ridiculous there's a real fear of commitment between the two and a lot of damage between the two and it just fed right into my woman's head and I'm really truly believe it loud it her to be severely poisoned cuz she started turning into a completely different person but yet I still loved her like the day I first met her I still looked at her exactly the same I still do to this day even though she won't have anything to do with me for whatever reason I don't know I never got a reason but after everything we've been through I honestly felt like every time she made me promise never to leave her every time she made me the promise that she would never leave me no matter what blah blah blah I feel like it was all just a game to her now and a game to her family because my woman was the child that was traded off when things got too stressful for Mom she was the kid that was sent to the hospital to you know being the mental ward because it was just too tough for Mom to cope with having two kids and being as destroyed of a person as she is So of course that's led to a lot of emotional damages for my woman and for that entire family It's led to alcoholism and the other side of the family with her sister and her mom being best friends they hang out all day long and it's about the worst family situation you could think of but sadly she will still choose her family over anybody at the end of the day even though they don't choose her like that It breaks my heart to watch honestly the best thing she could do is cut them off from her life but there is a lot of times that she needed them there because she had no other option is what she felt instead of when we fought going there honestly alsoever wanted her to do is just calm down and instead of leaving stay here choose me over that bullshit fight choose me over the fucking nonsense of everything because at the end of the day none of it mattered to me I always forgave her for everything not because I wanted to be the doormat or because I allowed myself to be the doormat but because when I grew up I grew up in a Christian family That's what we do if we fight we work shit through I may not be the best Christian in the world but I know the values that I have in my family were not the same as hers they traded her off when times got tough they never showed her unconditional love so she doesn't even know how to unconditionally love her own children and it's really sad cuz honestly to this day I feel like that little girl would choose me over her own mother and that breaks my heart for her. I realize I've been rambling on for a while now but this one really doesn't sit right with me guys I've never had any issues with any breakup since this one and I know the mental state she was in when she made it and made this choice but the way she did it just recently after having promised her yet again and her promising me that we would never leave each other and to always fight for the relationship. She comes over about a 3 weeks ago we have sex been seen each other in a few days few days prior to that we went and took "our daughter" to her dentist appointment she had to be knocked out at and did great through who'd she want afterwards after she woke up me Not her mom just me to comfort her. My girl's been in such a bad spot mentally but she refused to talk to me about it I could never get her to open up and yes I did a lot of things wrong because I was always trying to fix her or trying to help her through it is how I see it She saw it as me trying to fix her and she said I don't need to be fixed. But I know I didn't see it that way and that may have been my mistake because she wasn't looking for advice or whatever on how to try to help her through it but she just wanted somebody to listen to her which I did I can repeat everything she's ever told me about an issue word for word I can almost predict in my head I can sit there and say okay what's she going to say. And then I can literally as she's saying it out loud I can pretty well determine already know what she's going to say while listening though just to make sure I don't miss anything It ends up being the same thing every time and it's always all about her family's issues and things going on between them. It's been this way for the last year and a half probably since she moved in there now just before this breakup she had been for a couple months looking for place for us to go cuz I want out of where I'm at now and she obviously wanted out of there and so she was supposedly looking for it for a place to go That was ours because I got a new job I sat here and prayed for a new job that I had applied for and they just weren't moving fast enough or something I guess because like 4 days before she broke up with me they called and I started working I was so happy I got back in that truck I was doing it for her for us for me for those girls everything was going the way I had invisioned it going. Then like I said two days go by she came over spend some time together We had a little quickie and then we went to her appointment with the psych doctor couple days later she breaks up with me This is how I wake up the next morning after being at work all night long in my tow truck to a text message and I'm blocked on everything every single social media outlet every everything that we had together online I'm just blocked. Knowing the mental state she was in I was like what the hell is going on now I got a short text message that said something like I can't do this anymore This is after going through her girl parts being taken out being with her the entire time waiting on her hand and foot this is after saving her daughter because her drunk ass sister drove home from their mothers house while watching the like 5-month-old baby at the time and ran the car into the fucking house in the middle of the night and we were both working shoot while she was watching her That's why she was watching her So of course I get a phone call she can't leave work and she's freaking out because her daughter was just in the car that just slammed into the house and did thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damage So what happens This guy goes and rescues the child and keeps the child with him the entire rest of my work night until mom gets off work there's lots of reasons that this woman has loved me completely and tried so hard and there's lots of reasons why I've loved her as completely as I could and tried so hard and tried getting back on track now I used her in those kids and myself to get me back to a point where I could even start to function again after finding out I had cancer and not knowing how to tell her or anybody and what hurts the most is the fact that she just gave up and just blindsided me with all of this if I feel like and it kills me but this is what I had to do because of her putting all her walls up and just stonewalling me with everything and knowing the fact that even on her Facebook she chose to not put family photos of us for up there but to put every other photo of that entire time together on there even ones that she had taken separately with just her and her girls making it look like nobody else was there the entire time She just failed to include the you know few pictures she took all of us. Which are now deleted off her phone obviously cuz she deleted everything of us together She always does that She always does it just deletes them because she never had any good memories as a child so she has an inability to just keep that stuff because it's painful to her now for some reason even if it was a happy memory She doesn't like those happy memories cuz those are painful that they're not going to happen anymore so she just erases everything and gets rid of it because it's easier for her while I'm not that type of person I'm a sentimental person I keep everything So of course when she goes gets her mind off track whatever I start to be sweet and send her you know our pictures together and things because I know she's already done deleted them which gets her nine times out of 10 and gets her right back to where she needs to be and realizing that I'm there for her that I I want her I choose her and I choose to do this together well not this time She completely stonewalled me wouldn't even respond to me for days and it was literally out of the blue So I'm freaking out because I'm thinking she's going to go hurt herself which she's tried to do a few times and she just reapped on all her medication the last time she tried to hurt herself that's what had happened She took all of her medication and thank God nothing happened but now she had you know six new bottles of pills which would have done it so I was scared for her life honestly. So I was literally just freaking out day after day night after night and all while having to work at night now with this new job in the truck that I was freaking out because I couldn't see her in my passenger seat anymore and then I was seeing her and then I was worrying about her and I was concentrating more on her than I was even able to do my job like I said I had to give it up even though I sat there and prayed for her prayed for myself to pray to get the job and it was literally a blessing because they created the position for me they didn't need to fill a position they created it for me I've been doing this job for well over 10 years of my career and I'm damn good at it Just not right now and so for the last month after everything that I found out everything that it's been said This is what I had to do guys and I I can't regret it I can't feel any type of way about it but I've been pushing and pushing and pushing on purpose because I know she's not coming back no matter what That's the way she feels but once I stop trying to fight for the relationship to fight for her and fight for those kids I know she's going to start to feel the feelings of losing me and it's going to start getting into her head so I knew if I stopped talking to her that's what would happen and she would try to slide right back into my life a month later whenever however it would happen she would come back eventually and I'm not going to be in a new place in my life where I would allow her to do that I can't So what I did was I pushed on purpose not only because she made me promise to do it but because I knew it's what needed to happen because I needed my mental state to be better and it's not right now I'm a wreck right now because of this woman because of losing this woman cuz I honestly felt like she's the one person on this planet that I would never let go. So my life is just turned into a fucking wreck on a wreck on a wreck because of her vindictive nature her mean-spirited bullshit when she gets mad She doesn't not have a filter so she uses her daughter against me how's it feel no that you'll never see "her daughter" ever again trying to dig into my heart and just cause more pain This is the type of stuff she would say to me That would just break me down to nothing. I've literally been in tears since the breakup and before that because I I think I kind of knew it was coming but I was just so depressed that I couldn't do anything I would cry every night even a month before we were broken up I would cry every night just cuz I missed her I missed her being next to me but that was her own fault that was her own doing She lied put words in my roommate's mouth that were never there and she couldn't apologize She could not be an adult and apologize to him and then it would have been fine She would have been a loud back at the house She would been able to come see me but she just is not the adult that I thought she was or that she used to be before when we first got together and and I don't understand what happened I can't see where it all just went so terribly wrong except for her moving in with her family. It has been the greatest experience of my life loving this woman but at the same time in the end it has been so destructive so I had to make sure that she would never come back So for the last month I've been pestering her coming at her yelling at her calling her all these names in the book and just destroying anything she ever had for me because I won't let her back into my life I can't cuz I know if I do it will be the death of me so I'm choosing me over the love of my life. The woman that I have lived for for this past three fucking years of my life given everything to worked my ass off so I could fucking just keep going the next day to provide what I could for us as a family mind you have paid for everything every waking moment for the first year and a half of our lives because she didn't have a job She didn't work so I paid for everything and that's everything we needed for the baby as well. Salam everyone I hope you’re all doing well. This will be a bit of a read so thank you in advance if you choose to stay. I’m currently going through a lot. I recently found out I’ve been in an emotionally abusive and religiously manipulative marriage since March last year and have since asked my husband for divorce. My husband was forcing me to not keep contact with my Ahmadi family and we had a few other problems. He initially agreed, then said he doesn’t want one so I started filling out the Khula application, but now recently has agreed to give me a divorce.
For context, I’m a final year university student, living in uni accommodation and my husband has been living with me due to it being closer to commute to work than from his mum’s house. It has been a bit awkward but we kept conversation civil and surface level. Things got worse after I had a car accident on the motorway 2 weeks ago. Alhamdulillah i’m fine but my car needs repairing and got even more damaged by the recovery company so have been having back and forths with insurance and this company for a while and my car is yet to be repaired. It will cost quite a bit and it will only be a year since I got my license in August. After this accident, the next day my husband trespassed onto my family’s property (he is not welcome due to him calling the police on my family multiple times in the past) and the police had to once again be involved. Since then i’ve been staying at my parent’s (who I’m still re-building my relationship with after things went sour for almost a year) and my husband has been staying in my accommodation. I did tell him to leave but due to his circumstances I’ve agreed to him staying in exchange of him paying for the whole year’s rent which is around 6k (i know it’s his responsibility anyway). It’s been really tiring commuting everyday with my mum driving me to and from, I wish i could’ve stayed on campus or driven myself. He keeps asking me to stay and that he will sleep on the floor but i don’t feel comfortable around him after he trespassed.
I’ve only got until the end of this month before I finish my degree so preparing for my exams has been stressful with everything else going on.
i also haven’t worked out/been to the gym properly since February so that also makes me upset with myself but i’m hoping to start again next month after my exams.
There’s also a part of me that feels like I have no actual social support, to me it seems like my friends at uni are closer to each other than they are to me, some have planned holidays with each other after they finish and it feels like they have things so much easier.
Due to my husband constantly calling the police on my family and forcing me to as well, my sister and mum got interrogated by them and I feel like my relationship with my sister has changed forever. Her husband is extremely cold to me, and it makes me uncomfortable being around him and I understand my sister needs to consider his feelings too so I feel like my sister isn’t truly my sister anymore as I can’t visit as freely especially when he’s home.
I’ve also been having issues with my childhood friends. two of them are Ahmadi, initially they were extremely understanding and supportive of me reverting and my marriage but once I told them about the emotional abuse in my marriage they’ve both turned extremely cold towards me too. One of them randomly bombarded me with a long, extremely rude message of her being upset at me for not defending Ahmadiyya on reddit in my comments of a post I made months before despite her knowing i’m no longer part of that community and do not support it even if my family believe in it. i found this ironic as we have sunni friends that they have no issues with as they were born into it but are offended with me leaving their community unapologetically. the other one decided she can decide what’s best for me and kept giving her unwanted advice on my situation shortly after reconnecting following her mum telling her to cut contact with me for reverting. i felt extremely betrayed of my trust with the way they acted and the way they spoke to me. i initially didn’t respond to their messages as they had sent them in the last 10 days of ramadan and i was prioritising my spirituality and fasting. i apologised for the delayed response (2 weeks) and explained my reasoning hoping they’d be understanding but they used that as fuel for the fire and kept insulting me. they pulled up random information that was wrong (my sister had been in contact with one of them and told her i was coming home to visit) and they took that as me coming to the city to see friends. they refused to be understanding and denied being rude nor understood how they stepped out of line (even my mum and sister agreed with me and they’re the victims in the eyes of those two girls). my sister suggested we talk it out in person after my exams but i’m not sure if i even want to fix things with those girls. but another part of me thinks it would be easier to be civil to make things less awkward and separated with our friend group.
I feel extremely hopeless, I’ve noticed my iman has dropped a lot since Ramadan and I feel really isolated. i’ve been trying to have a positive outlook, i’ve been wanting cats for several years so want to hopefully buy two kittens as emotional support animals and my parents gave me their bedroom so have been planning to renovate it to my taste but i’m still struggling to cope with all my problems and don’t know how to cope with it. i do try to pray my sunnah prayers where i can and remember Allah but i don’t feel like my heart is in it like it used to be and i’m upset that all these tribulations are affecting my iman negatively instead of making it stronger.
Understandably no one around me can relate to me and i don’t have any specific friends i can rely on who i feel like would give me their 100% support who aren’t already busy with their own exams and personal issues. I really wish i could make some more muslimah friends around me especially as i won’t be at uni anymore and who i can rely on for islamic advice and knowledge, who i can have regular conversations with as i don’t necessarily have the religious neutrality with my family. even the thought of re-marrying in the future makes me anxious and hopeful/excited at the same time, there’s no emotional stability within me at all. i feel like a complete failure and idiot for the way things have gone this past year.

Hi everyone,
I’m seeking advice regarding my two-year relationship. My girlfriend and I have been living together for about a year now, and I’m facing some recurring issues that are starting to affect our relationship.
Since the beginning, she’s been somewhat of a messy person. I’ve been fine with this and have been working with her to build better habits around keeping our place tidy. However, every time I ask her to pick something up, clean, or go through her things, she says she was already planning to do it, or she will do it later, but she never actually follows through. Whenever I bring it up again, she either says she forgets, mentions having a bad day, or just doesn’t acknowledge it.
Additionally, there are situations where she asks me to do things, like get her ice cream from downstairs while we’re both already upstairs. I always do it for her, but if I ever ask her, she says she’ll do it in a minute and then never does or just says “but I’m so comfy” or something along those lines. If I don’t want to get something for her, she gets in a mood, and it’s clear she’s upset with me.
One specific instance that really frustrated me was when she offered to clean but then completely forgot about it. She ended up going to Target, spending $150 on Legos, and spent the entire day playing with the Legos without cleaning at all.
She also makes commitments about cutting back on getting coffee or shopping, but whenever she has the opportunity, she immediately does it without any second thoughts, often spending way too much money. This is especially frustrating because we’re planning on moving out, looking at getting new cars, and managing our finances is crucial.
I understand she has mental health issues that contribute to this behavior, but it’s getting to the point where it’s just like, come on, dude. I am having issues with feeling loved, appreciated, or respected because of these issues. The mess really messes with my mental health, and I’ve expressed that to her. I do so much for her, but I get little in return, and it’s really starting to mess with me. Her not keeping up with commitments like cutting back on coffee and shopping is also starting to affect my trust. If she can so easily go back on something she promises to do, what else might she break her promises on?
If she were to show that she’s working on her cleaning and tidiness, I would feel more loved, appreciated, and respected. Her bad habits are rubbing off on me because I’m trying really hard to keep up with her, but it’s so mentally draining that I just can’t do it anymore. I just want to make sure I’m not overreacting before I say or do anything about it.
I’m feeling frustrated and stuck. How do I address these issues without causing more tension? Have any of you been in a similar situation? How did you handle it?

Ive heard quite a few times that heists on payday 3 don't have the same impact as previous games. I believe it's a problem of the "get out ASAP" game design and just some boring objectives. While I can't suggest anything for the former, the latter goes like this from me!
NRFTW
This heist being the first one excuses the more simplistic design and I agree with it. Only gripes I got are these

• The dye pack timer should scale with player count.

I find it a bit stupid that solo players are the only ones that can't defuse all packs without an ECM. I think that making non 4 player teams (1-3) either risk it or have a dedicated ECM carrier is more interesting. Maybe a voice line from Shade hinting that it's a feature too. It's completely hidden as it is now.

• Script cop spawns near the electrical boxes

The push past everyone to the escape zone has more cops than the "locked down perimeter" a bit beyond it. Nuff said
Road Rage
This heist mostly suffers from being boring on repeat play thrus. The fix is complex to execute but simple as an idea.

• Make the roadblocks dynamic instead of preset.

Add a swat van driving into the path of the van, cops breaking a scaffold etc. The only time players gets caught out is in the very first playthrough, really boring.
Dirty Ice
This is one of the best heists in the game in terms of player choice and freedom. The only problem of the diamond cleaning being useless is also being fixed in the next update too. I honestly don't have any gripes. You stay for as long as you want and do it your own way.
Rock The Cradle
Honestly, this heist needs some sort of restructure. Or item placement changes.

• Remove the blue keycard of the VIP door guard.

Since the game launched people have been exploiting this to skip 50+% of the heist. It's a stupid oversight to stick to.

• Do something about the flip boxes.

Yea real smart. But I'm not sure what to suggest with the locked RNG being in the game. New objective, diffrent way of them working, not sure ngl.
Under The Suprhaze
This heist overall is pretty cool but it can be a bit fatiguing on failed attempts. It's really long in some aspects (both stealth and loud) and if I need to replay it I just groan, seeing how much progress I lost.

• Make the QR codes faster to grab.

Please there's 7 and each takes a small eternity to grab. I'm not wasting a skill to do that.

• Either improve or remove the floor-is-lava rooms

This is a first person shooter, parkour is not the games strongsuit. Mantling or jumping is a gamble, bouncing off of walls on jumps is common, it's not really fun to sweat over it. Maybe it's a skill isue :shrug:

• Rethink the stealth secure point

I honestly cannot play this stealth without a zipline asset. The secure point is a block away from the building, across a very populated park. Is this me being punished for "not planning it out"?

• Make the final assault trigger on last mission critical painting being picked up, not the usb one

Just...why. You can litterally just not pick up the usb painting or pick it up last and circumvent the huge obstacle. Not a fan

• Wi-Fi circles. Nuf said

Gold And Sharke
This heist for the most part is fine, just not as epic as I would have wanted it to be but that's subjective. Anywho-

• The QR requirement for the manager rooms is not needed.

The starting objective needs QR codes to get into manager rooms but it just feels like padding. Scavenging thru the intire bank for random phones to guess what's behind door number 3...or just use tricks/glitches/oversights to basically skip it. Just leave it as locked doors, no need for QRs.

• Wi-Fi circles. Nuff said
  
• The drill should beep when low on oxygen and the marker for where the oxygen is doesn't need to spawn AFTER the drill breaks.
  

I've had countless runs where I just get distracted for a minute and the drill breaks due to no oxygen. It's a simple QOL feature. Also Shade says the drill needs oxygen but waits for it to break before saying WHERE it is. Just spawn it when it's red at least.

Hoo boy. The more I play this the less I want to do it again. This intire heist is just a really long holdout and kinda just needs a full remake imo, let's see if I can think of something. Where to begin...

• Make the parkour paths harder to miss

Again, the game is not made for parkour. I lose more health breaking my legs than the cops. I'm not even sure I'm getting to some containers the way the devs intended lol.

• Wi-Fi circles. aaaaAAAA

Change them into a minigame or perhaps rerouting the signal of a recently arrived FBI van to get a location signal to spoof instead of damn circles. Maybe have players rotate the dish manually until a signal is caught and then grab the chip before the FBI interupts the hi-jack.

• The spike strip objective is a bit...pointless?

The whole objective is just nothing, grab a consistant spawn object, place it, NOW you can leave. It takes 10s at most. You could change it into players having to move cop cars Brooklyn 10-10 style into a blockade, dissable the cars (shoot tires, break engines etc) and THEN leave. That's way more interactive.
Touch The Sky
This heist is a cool premise but it felt like devs really ran out of steam on the objectives on here ngl. Even Shade knows with the safe in a vault comment.

• Wi-Fi circles...jeez

This is getting tiresome. This could be maybe a rewire objective, follow wires from the console to trick it's current status (door locked or not). Heck, blow it open in loud or something, it's a wooden door with metal lining.

• The red keycard for the main office is a bit boring but mostly fine.

We're breaking into an office of a gun runner and its key is just in a random paper room? Cmon. It could be hidden in the bedroom, maybe even booby trapped so snoopers wouldn't get away with such a steal.

• As Shade mentions, the safe is not necessary.

It's padding. Remove it

• Increase the difficulty of removing the encryption off of the ssd.

Add timed checks to like flick an accept Hoxton breakout style when the ssd asks for one, find a required hash in Masons notes for it etc. Its the last mission of this first chapter but the end goal is a simple hack. Spice it up
Turbid station
This heist is mostly good. Only real problem is the damn security room cart.

• Make the "If the blue shirt guy is dead" objective the main way to get into the cart.

If you didn't know, if you kill the executive guy you get a secondary way to open the train cart. It's way safer and it opens the cart PWLERMENANTLY. Why is the """punishment"""" for not following the plan is an easier route???

• Make hacking SSD make a noise again

This one I'm honestly not sure is the case but I THINK it's completely silent. It wasn't so in 2.
Cook off
This heist is another perfecto, no real problems other than some bugs that may or may not be patched. So only problem from me is this

• Fix the houses proportions.

The doors feel commically wide. Staircase feels commically wide. It's silly.
Syntax error
This one's a doozy. Some things done well, some not so.

• Shorten the main door hack in loud.

In all loud lobbies I've done, everyone knows to stealth the first bit to get the code for the door due to it being faster. A bit silly ngl.

• The red keycard spawns are commically bad for new players.

There are dozens of clips of players running for an hour, not finding the red keycard. The red shelves are not that obvious and are low on the floor. Hang em on the wall atleast!!

• Techie sucks with the current armor system.

The techie so far has had two states. So stupidly OP that leaving her alive or running out to kill her is virtually the same in terms of resource drain. And how she is now, a mosquito with no real threat. Going out to kill her takes more resources than tanking it. The design is stupid with her hiding out. It's never worth hunting her during an assault. More so if you got drone hack skills.

• The park objective is...silly

If you kill cops in the park (as the objevtive says) you won't progress. You need to be in the field and kill park enemies. Bruh-

• The escape should have been further away or in a sewer.

It's silly planning wise to buy thousands of dollars worth of explosive equipment to...cross the street. It's anti climatic imo

I humbly request a tidbit of the sage wisdom of daddit. I have a problem I'm trying to solve and we are stronger together, help me out Brothers.
So I have a classic 1968 Chevrolet Camaro that I have had for a long time, since long before I was married and had kids. I've been able to keep it, and just recently I've been able to actually get a bit of restoration done which was entirely to increase the safety and reliability of the car. I got new brakes, new suspension, new steering, it's a beauty and I want to put car seats in it and take at least one of my kids out from time to time.
My kids are four, six, and eight. I'm thinking I get a seat for the older one only, and the other ones can join in as they get a little bit bigger.
Thing is, my wife is the type that takes safety to 11 on every possible thing. And I haven't gotten a full-on "absolutely not", so I'm thinking there is a chance here. If I'm looking for the best in safety for a car seat for an 8-year-old for a muscle car, what should I be looking for? What other things should I be thinking or introducing to the situation to alleviate my wife's fear of something bad happening? I don't plan to take them to the track, street race, probably rarely if ever even go on the freeway...
Would love to know thoughts if anyone is willing to share.

So, I'm 29 and got out of my long term, long distance relationship in Feb. I've dabbled in the app dating since and have met four guys for first dates.
Now, guy 2 and guy 3 were mutual no interest, no problem, we move on. The others, guy one and guy four, I was more attracted to and kissed on the first date.
After kissing guy 1 on the date, he started suggesting a number of things we could do together while waiting for the uber. He referred to us as 'seeing each other' in a text back and forth in the evening. I felt a lot of pressure to text him between the dates. We made plans for Friday but he was also mentioning doing things on Saturday. (Reader, I don't even want to hang out with the same friend two days in a row).
Now, I haven't dated since I was 25, so maybe it's normal to be texting back and forth after the first date? Personally, I think we are still near strangers and would like to just text logistically with a mid week update on what we are up to maybe? I don't really have a bar on these things on whether this is full on or in the normal range!?
It could also be a social skill/conditioning thing though (they are both of different cultures to me, I'm british). The guy from Friday is a surgeon so has spent a lot of life studying and is an introverted/ordered human, the other worked in AI/software. I want to be open minded, and honestly I would also love to have sex soon with someone I'm genuinely attracted to honestly because I've been physically celibate for a year now 😭 But maybe this is a gut feeling I should follow to keep looking for an unquestionable connection.

Might not be the best place to write but we're kinda shocked. Anybody knows why the Stance Adria date was changed so suddenly? We planned a whole trip to Croatia. Everything booked and planned. Accomodation, things to do, etc. But our main character of the trip would have been Stance Adria. 10 ppl, 2 cars entered. About a distance of 1000 kilometres. Then out of the blue the date changed from July 9th and August 9th to September 7th. Can somebody provide any information about what happened? Thanks in advance for everybody.

Say I have a main house in prefecture A with my Jyuminhyo and all of my primary stuff registered there, but also own a besso in prefecture B, a great distance away. I take a car and motorcycle to prefecture B besso to leave them there, so I can fly in and out and have my vehicles there for the time I spend there. I'm planning to spend 30-50% of my time based from prefecture B, so not change my main address in A-ken. Will I be able to get my shaken done on my vehicles and update everything without the vehicles returning to prefecture A? Would it be better to register the vehicles in prefecture B? If so, how would I register them to my address in prefecture B if it's not my main address?
I'm moving forward with a land purchase and trying to wrap my head around some things pertaining to having two properties very far apart.

We are thinking about Folgefonna glacier, National Tourist Route Hardanger.

Day 5 self directed Norway in a Nutshell day. Drive to either Gudvangen or Flam, depending on the booking availability. After NIN, Drive Stalheimskleiva, Stegastein viewpoint → snow road or Laerdal Tunnel. Stay in Flam, Aurland, Undredal, Dyrdal, or Balestrand
Question for Day 5, we noticed some reviews say Flam railway is overrated, so is there a way to drop NIN route and still see the equally beautiful fjords and mountains. If it's the best to follow NIN, Is it a bit late to book trains and cruises?
Day 6 Drive to Geiranger - full day driving.
Please advise on the most scenic routes. Noticed there are many options.
Day 7 Geirangrfjords.
Please advise the activities. How many night/s to stay? We like to do a moderate hike to get close to Briksdalsbreen glacier or its branches, hike to the viewpoints, and see water falls and a stave church, or a cruise?

Was in polaris on the flight last night that got diverted to HNL because 3 crew members were sick (i am guessing food poisoning since they took a couple of toilets offline with them), with 5-6hrs left to SFO (before the clock changed to 2hrs to HNL instead). At first it looked optimistic when we landed because they started restocking water bottles and such on the plane, ground crew came to clean the toilets, and a doctor wearing a hawaiian shirt + stethoscope (very on-brand for hawaii) came to check on the afflicted flight crew.
Then after 20-30mins they told us we wouldn't be continuing tonight and kicked us off the plane, though thought it was a bit strange since I saw what seemed like replacement crew with contractor lanyards saying goodbye to us when we got off. Official note in the email for cancellation said that it was due to the crew running out their clock of allowed flight time (so i guess there wasn't enough replacements ready?).
Airport was totally asleep since it was 1.30am when we got kicked off the plane, immigration & customs seemed like they had just been called up in the middle of the night to handle us, dragged bags all the way across to the other end of the airport to be given 2-day hotel vouchers (for HHV- surprising it wasn't a marriott given united's usual partnership) and taxi vouchers. However, since it was the middle of the night (~2.15am), there were no taxis available so they were coming 1-2 cars every 5-10min and slowly moving people across. Some smart people took ubers, i stayed behind at first to finish attempting to rebook using the chat function in the united app.
Wasn't lucky enough to get on the 7am flight out (saw a lot of my fellow biz class cabin was fast enough to rebook to it), but i still really needed to make a connection to Toronto 14hrs later from SF for a work trip so I got them to rebook me to one from Maui to SF (which would leave me with just enough time to drop off my bags at home in SF- tight but i figured i had about 10min of buffer in the plan 😅). Also booked myself a Hawaiian air flight from HNL-OGG to reposition for the OGG-SFO leg on UA. The OGG-SFO leg is in economy sadly.
After I finished like 45min later the taxi line was still super long so i gave in and took an uber out of pocket as well, but when I got to the hotel it turned out that long taxi line had just converted to a long (and unavoidable) check-in line at the hotel, since (again) it was the middle of the night and only 1-2 staff were working. A 3rd checkin person opened up a couple hours later, but it literally took 2.5hrs standing in that line to get through. 6am I finally got to my room, slept for 2hrs and then headed back out to the airport (finally using a united voucher this time).
I just landed in Maui, and im hoping everything else goes smoothly but I am curious if anyone knows if I'll be able to claim what i paid for this HA flight from United as compensation? It was only like $130 but would be nice if possible. Or if there is anything else I might be able to claim, either from UA or from my amex platinum travel insurance? Technically the app says its a cancellation (also have diversion screenshots if needed). Or if theres anything i can claim for the downgrade from Business to Economy- though im guessing not on the latter.
I did check the DOT website and their chart has united marked as giving hotels+meals+transport vouchers instead of cash compensation for cancels&delays, and technically they did that (although nearly unusable..) so I am guessing not eligible for much. I am guessing maybe can claim the HA flight from amex travel insurance but not super sure on that either.
Also in retrospect, I wish they had just decided to continue to SF, we weren't on the ground that long for the crew clocks to be off by much and im sure people would have not minded having a few bathrooms out of order vs the massive 1-2 day ordeal most are getting instead.

Hello! Myself and my boyfriend are looking to plan a holiday late August/early September for about a week-10 days. I really want Greece to be the destination, but I’m finding it overwhelming with all of the options to narrow it down on where specifically to go!
What we are looking for is maybe 2 main islands to stay at, with maybe an odd day trip to neighbouring islands if they’re worth seeing!
In terms of what we’re looking to do, relaxing by the beach, exploring towns, maybe a hike or two, lots of good food and drinks, we’re in our early/mid 20s but we don’t plan on staying out past 1am or anything too wild!!
Budget wise I’m not looking to spend a small fortune, but don’t mind splashing out for a couple of the nights (if we ended up wanting to visit Santorini, for example).
I was originally thinking Naxos but I read it’s more family oriented and that you’d need to rent a car so I’m not sure.. open to all options though!! Thank you

I was Involved in a 3 car collision last night. (check my post history to see the video on dashcam if interested.) I've filed a claim with my insurance, and plan to file a claim with the insurance of the car that hit me tomorrow, but I'm curious if I should get a lawyer due to the following:

1. The driver of the car that hit me jumped over my car to check on the driver of the other rav4 that hit them, and scratched the paint on my hood. I'm not sure if this is something their insurance would cover since it occurred while his car was stopped.
   
2. I am an Uber driver and you are not supposed to drive vehicles with cosmetic damage. My dad has told me I should just drive anyway and not worry about it since it's essentially just a large scuff. I haven't decided if I'm gonna or not. If I don't drive I will be seeking compensation for lost wages.
   

Curious if yall think I should seek out a consultation, or if I should see if their insurance will make me whole first. (Note: no one was injured) Thank you for the input!

I recently took my 2020 Hyundai Kona Electric to the dealer for routine service. I'm not naming the dealer because I am still not sure if my bad experience was a deliberate attempt at a scam or an honest mistake. There isn't much maintenance to do on an EV other than an inspection and a tire rotation, and the service is free. When the technician was finished I was shown a digital photo attached to my work order, displayed on a service rep's computer screen. The photo showed a tire with a large nail in it. I was advised to leave my car at the dealer so they could order a replacement tire and change it the following day. The price quoted for one tire was $324. Since I hadn't suspected any tire problem before being shown the photo, I said I'd rather drive home and come back the next day. After some discussion, and after being advised to drive slowly for safety, my Kona was released to me. In the parking lot I closely inspected all 4 tires and didn't see any damage. I summoned a technician to look at the tires. He couldn't find any damage either. The vehicle was then driven back into the shop and put up on a lift. Still no damage could be found. Eventually the young guy who allegedly attached the tire photo to my work order claimed that he had simply attached the photo to the the wrong work order, He said that the damaged tire was on another customer's vehicle. I don't know whether to believe this story or not. Maybe some of these jokers thought they could fool a 75-year-old man with a bit of digital deception. Regardless, I'm certainly glad that I checked the tires myself, saving $324 plus labor to replace a tire that had no damage at all. Maybe the plan was to steal my "damaged" tire and sell it on eBay. Who knows? Buyer beware!

How do you go about dating if your over 21+ but you rely on parents for transportation
Hi. I am an individual with multiple disabilities/health conditions (including anxiety adhd and possible autism) and I’m 25. I was wondering how you go about dating if you rely on your parents for transportation. Unfortunately I have a condition that causes limited depth perception so I am not sure driving is the best option for me and I’m also afraid to learn even though my doctors say it wouldn’t hurt to learn. I also have t1 diabetes. Unfortunately I live in a rural area with limited transportation options too. Given that I am My mother’s only child she is very overprotective of me (and the few friends I have always comment this). However, she does talk about me moving out but I’m almost certain she wouldn’t let that happen because she’s over protective even though we fight all the time. I should also clarify that I love my mother and she can be my friend but she’s also very overprotective (I think?)
Case in point: I needed to get somewhere the other night and neither my parents (my father seems to think my mom is the only one who needs to drive me around sometimes) could take me, and I put it out on fb (just my friends list) that I needed a ride but my mom saw it and said I’m not letting you get in car with someone I don’t know. I mean I wouldn’t have gotten a ride from a murderer…but she yelled at me and made me take it down. Thankfully I did get a text from a family member that they could take me where I needed to go. But that incident made me think what if I met a guy on a dating site and we clicked but I needed a ride to get there and my mom said no. I mean dating is part of how I would move out, but I’m not sure my mother understands that online dating is how the majority of people meet these days. I don’t feel like my mom is abusing me or necessarily being mean but she’s just way over protective. I do plan to bring this up with my therapist as well. Does anyone have any ideas?
