2024.04.29 17:14 penalowp Help me figure out what’s causing my stomach ache episodes?

For most of my life, I’ve gotten a very particular sort of stomach ache that seems to come in clusters or flare ups, but I’ve never heard of others getting something similar. The doctors I have seen have shrugged and deemed it IBS, but everything I’ve seen about IBS doesn’t seem to line up, and I’d love to know if anyone has any pointers for me as to what it could possibly be. (I’ve hit another episode of it and am going insane.)
Basically, my entire digestive tract feels like it’s on fire, with stabbing/sharp pains intermittently, and the pain is so bad I can’t do anything but lay there and oftentimes wind up crying. The pain in my chest from this is definitely heartburn, but my actual stomach organ and uppelower intestines also get a similar burning and sharp pains, and my entire abdomen will be tender to the touch. It’s often accompanied by retching (though I’ve never actually thrown up) and sometimes diarrhea (but not always).
All the medication I’ve tried to relieve it doesn’t have an effect (pepto, tums, Zantac, gas x, etc), and I’ve found reclining with my torso elevated slightly and gritting my teeth until I manage to sleep it off is the only thing that works. But like I said, it comes in episodes, and it’ll happen over and over again, sometimes brought on by eating but other times it’ll happen even if I don’t eat anything, over the course of a few weeks. I often loose a lot of weight during these flare ups because I’m scared to eat and accidentally aggravate it. But once it randomly disappears, I often won’t get it again for a month (or sometimes a year or more) until it happens again.
The only trigger I can think of is stress. Beyond that, I’ve had it with all sorts of different eating patterns from pure junk to super “clean” veganism. I’ve had it living different places, too, so there’s no locality.
Does anyone have any ideas or has heard of something similar?

2024.03.09 21:56 NYC_reader Lawyer to consult for drug injury case (NYC)?

I have taken a drug that was recalled for carcinogens, I still have the bottle of it, and one law firm said there's no case there, but within months of consumption I did get cancer. I'm wondering if I should ask another NYC firm, if maybe I do have a case? As a generic drug maker I doubt any damages won would be significant and maybe that's what the lawyers thought. I've had declining health through adulthood, the most distressing condition of several being cancer, and I got complications from treatment which has made me nervous about potential future relapses, working and finances. I have an Aflac plan that does help with expenses incurred from treatment, for me primarily lost wages as a freelancer. I've had some other toxic exposures from living or working environments, plus took Zantac which I fear had an adverse health effect, but doubt any legal action could be taken for negligence.

2024.03.07 17:20 seanpbnj COVID / Long COVID Updates (2024)

**Welcome to 2024! It is unfortunate, but our leaders have decided we will be "living" with COVID / LC. It did not have to be this way, better leaders could have prevented this. If you want better leaders, consider Barnett 2024*\*
  1. Saltwater Gargles (SWG), N Acetyl Cysteine (NAC), Choline Bitartrate (Chol), Magnesium (Mg), Potassium (K), Allegra/Claritin/Zyrtec or Pepcid/Zantac (Antihistamines), Ashwaganda, Dandelion Root Extract (DRE), Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), Elderberry, Nattokinase **Are all considered reasonable, they have either been studied in COVID or they have evidence of benefit in the RAAS pathway or Blood Pressure Pathway**
  2. COVID is real and it is the most destructive disease I have ever seen. Long COVID is real, it is the extension of the most destructive disease I have ever seen. (I am Heart/Lung/Kidney specialist and I have seen many diseases, none of which compare)
  3. COVID is a VASCULAR Disease. A "Vasculitis", it is NOT just a respiratory virus. It can invade ANY tissue, and it can damage ANY blood vessel. The damage from COVID is caused by the Renin Angiotensin Aldosterone System (RAAS), this will be mentioned a lot.
  4. C/LC symptoms are often connected to Stress, Anxiety, Blood Pressure, Depression, ADHD, and Diet. NOT because it is "just anxiety" or "just stress", C/LC causes these issues because of RAAS. The "Fight or Flight" hormones are RAAS + Cortisol. So, anything that affects RAAS, like C/LC, will affect our Fight or Flight.
  5. I do not have all the answers but I do have some. Ask any questions you have, I will try and respond. I will immediately debunk and propaganda or misinformation that is posted, if you continue to post harmful misinformation I will block you.
  6. Not a brag, but, I know more about this than whomever your source is. I will supply sources, articles, and LOTS more data than Joe Rogan, Peter McCullough, and the CDC. I do not ever intend to belittle people, but this is a public forum and misinformation is killing my brothers, sisters, and patients.

**Current Leading Symptoms / Variant*\* - JN.1 is scary. It is better than our entire immune system and persists in your Vocal Cords or Epiglottis. We need to convince the Public, the Politicians, and the Healthcare Industry to take this seriously. We are being destroyed. **Any combination of 3+ symptoms below should be ASSUMED COVID, regardless of negative or positive test, regardless of vaccination status, and regardless of what the doc says**
  1. Insomnia (especially w/ Night Sweats, Temp Changes, 3am wake-up and Heart Rate/BP changes) - \*Home Therapies = Saltwater Gargles, Magnesium Supplements, Choline Bitartrate, N Acetyl Cysteine (NAC), Antihistamines +/- Decongestant, Kava Kava, Ashwaganda, Meditation, Calming Breathing***
  2. Long Cough (especially w/ swallowing issues, voice changes, HBP changes, Upset Stomach) - \*Home Therapies = Saltwater Gargles, Choline Bitartrate, Sore Throat Spray, Magnesium/Potassium/Vitamin D, Dandelion Root Extract (DRE) / Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), Ashwaganda, NAC, singing, vagal maneuvers, Antihistamines +/- Decongestant)***
  3. GI Issues (especially severe Nausea/Vomiting, Loss of Appetite, Swallowing issues, Burping/Heartburn/Gastroparesis) - \*This is likely a variant of MCAS - Home therapies = Saltwater Gargles, NAC, Antihistamines (Allegra/Claritin/Zyrtec or Pepcid/Zantac), Pepto Bismol, Small frequent meals, Breathing Exercises***
  4. Dysautonomias (POTS is a form of Dysautnomia however there are MANY versions) - \*BLOOD PRESSURE is more important than Heart Rate... Your "HR tracker" is useless without checking your BPs. Separate post coming soon about these and various options, this requires a lot of questions to determine what is going on***
  5. Depression/Anxiety/Panic Attacks/ADHD (And/or exacerbations of these conditions) - \*COVID is a Neuropsychiatric Ticking Time Bomb.... It DOES affect all our brains. It CAN cause these issues in anyone and especially those who had them before. Please do NOT fault yourself if you are having a more difficult time from a Mental Health standpoint, it is not just you.... Reach out if needed. see the DOSE method below***
  6. Swelling, rashes, skin colotemp changes (Yes, I am aware many things can cause this, use your insight to determine whether or not this is "normal" or abnormal for you)
  7. Urine/Penis/Prostate/Uterine/Vaginal issues (Various forms, most common currently appears to be Excess Urination, Interstitial Cystitis, UTIs, and high BP issues related to kidneys/bladdeprostate/urethral inflammation)
  8. This is NOT an extensive list. COVID can damage any blood vessel and therefore any organ.
  9. For individual questions, comments, concerns, or if you would like more extensive COVID info (I wrote a book and made multiple handouts) and if you would like help with your healthcare, email me - **[info.yourhealthyourway@gmail.com](mailto:info.yourhealthyourway@gmail.com)**

Go issues for awhile now
Does this sound like an issue with the pancreas or colon?
Hi everyone I just wanted to see what you may think this could be.
Flashback 2022, I got covid but never had any gastro issues due to it. I ended up going to the Dominican Republic in June of 22, about a week after covid. While there I did notice an uneasy feeling in my stomach and once we got home I had diarrhea (as well as my family) but mine lasted a month. After that month I noticed my stools stayed pretty soft and I would have diarrhea at least 2 times a week.
Fast forward to March of 2023 I noticed my stools were never really firm, they always just seemed soft and is still get diarrhea about once a week.
May of 2023 I started getting random sharp pains on the right side of my abdomen, lower to middle I should say and then they would occur on my left side as well. I also noticed gurgling in my stomach weather I ate or didn't eat, very much so on the right side of my body. These pains were never painful, but you definitely felt them. My stools also seemed to never just be smooth, there were always ridges and cracks along with undigested food (mainly veggies or nuts)
The rest of 2023 was pretty similar, there would be times where I had zero random pains, but my stools stayed the same.
It's 2024 now and my stools are still the same, I still get diarrhea a couple times a week, I've noticed I get heartburn much more easily now days to where I need to take zantac a couple times a week or some tums. I also think (not positive) that I've developed some sort of intolerance to milk (which I never had as I am someone who drinks a gallon of milk every few days). It seems I'll have diarrhea a few hours after drinking it (not whey protein though or even cheese). I also sometimes develop a type of pressure in the middle, I guess sternum sometimes that can be relieved with lots of burps.
The past few days I've noticed dull to sharp pains lower right side of stomach area that will also be around my very first rib in the upper region. This can also go to the lower left side area of the stomach.
I scheduled a doctor's appointment back in October and they kept moving it back and back and even now they can't see me for another month.
I've not lost any weight or anything and for the most part I feel ok. I can still lift weights and do cardio.
Online searches only show grim stuff like pancreatic cancer or colon cancer. I am 33 but I know that's not out of the realm of possibility. Just wanted to know if this sounds like anything in particular

2024.01.20 20:34 Silver_Grapefruit_93 Feeling better.

I’m convinced most people only post / view when things are at their worst, so I’m here to say I’m feeling better. Suffered on and off for years for what I believe to be chronic gastritis (endoscope shows inflammation), convinced 2 years ago that it was pancreatitis (ruled out). The time to feel better gets longer every time but it does get better. I lose 20 lbs in a major flare for fear of food. I’ve abstained from booze for months now, convinced that’s a major contributor for me. Also convinced stress is a major contributor for me (high stress job). Sucralfate may be helping. On PPIs and Zantac too. No real guidance on how long to do with all these meds. Best of luck to all. Take the good with bad if you can.

When the medical industry and government team up under a cloud of bribes, it is cause for concern and, yet, everyone ignores it. Many people have forgotten the many compulsory sterilization campaigns and weird vaccine campaigns their governments have already participated in. Why trust them, now?

A Great Wilderness of Mirrors: The Intelligence Community

In the 15th Century, the term “intelligence” began to be used in reference to secret knowledge from spies. The processes of collection, interpretation and implementation of military and political knowledge has grown in scope, throughout human history, but many of the principles have been the same for thousands of years.
https://i.imgur.com/gAuReG9.png
While many people often think of “spies” as James Bond like figures, the truth is usually a lot more boring and slow. The most prolific spies, in this day and age, are millions of computer scripts working in the background to serve up the most important information to their masters. While military and political bodies engage in this behavior on a technologically advanced scale, the truth is that anyone can tap into this infrastructure to perform their own “intelligence” activities to stay informed, make money, keep secrets, uncover secrets, etc.
In ancient history, leaders even considered “spiritual intelligence” from oracles, astrology and prophecy to be legitimate. It is curious to note the symbols from these groups still persist in the intelligence community, today. After a failure of this type of intelligence, the Romans admit, “trust in the gods, but verify.”
https://i.imgur.com/IKDOFdm.png
Good intelligence is a force multiplier and it is important to know the history to better understand how and why. The history of intelligence starts with battlefield intelligence through the use of scouts; where men were sent out ahead of the bulk of their forces to uncover useful information about enemy troop locations, numbers and supporting logistics. Think of “scouting” as primitive “spying.”
I recommend The Second Oldest Profession: A World History of Espionage:
https://www.academia.edu/12566575/The_Second_Oldest_Profession_A_World_History_of_Espionage_Prince_Frederick_MD_Recorded_Books_Inc_2011_2012_
https://i.imgur.com/eCWdvnq.png
The Bible and The Art of War both discuss the use of spies. In Chapter 13 of the Art of War even discusses using double agents, doomed spies and other variations of spy craft. I feel this is important to point out because the news, today, is not willing to report on spying in such a way that treats these concepts as common place. Double agents have been commonplace for thousands of years. Doomed spies have been commonplace for thousands of years.
“The Art of War”: https://suntzusaid.com/
https://i.imgur.com/vNyNSuj.png
For thousands of years, while mankind’s intelligence infrastructure has grown, so has their innovation regarding spies’ ability to improve their subterfuge. From dead drops, to modified limited hang outs, to bad jacketing operations; there is a lot that the average person knows from movies and TV shows, but a lot that most people aren’t looking for, even though it is happening right in front of their faces.
“Spy Terms and Phrases” includes some of these: http://archive.fo/46h5o

An extension of the ideas behind scouting was the first signals intelligence, where several torches, next to each other, could be used to communicate information across long distances. Prior using signal torches in a variety of combinations, flags, pigeons, or a series of fast runners and horses were the fastest way to communicate. Another primitive signaling technology was “heliographic” in that a shield or a mirror could be used to reflect the sun at allies.
https://i.imgur.com/xnaskxB.png
I recommend “Early History of Data Networks”: https://archive.org/details/earlyhistoryofda0000holz/page/n5/mode/2up
4 minutes into “Visual Telegraphs” can give you an idea of how a series of torches can be used to communicate a great deal of information.

Compartmentalization is a primary consideration in all intelligence operations. There is no reason to have the group collecting the raw data interact with the group analyzing the data or either of those groups to act upon the data. It is wise to even isolate groups within these groups so that no one party has the full picture. The secret of Greek Repeating Fire was kept this way and lost this way towards the end of the Byzantine Empire. Each group made a component like “lamp oil” not having any idea that they were making one of the five necessary pieces to Greek Fire that would be mixed and heated on the ship to use against enemies.

Rome was forced to adapt their spy networks after the invasion of Hannibal, where large covert groups were funneling information over long distances to the politicians within Rome. The major failure of this was the fact that the politicians were so easily manipulated. Caesar began using ciphers that gave him a great advantage in counterintelligence, the type of which would have prevented Hannibal’s success and others who would operate like him.
https://i.imgur.com/c6rrKFh.png
Cipher Code Wheel
https://i.imgur.com/PYjnoFv.png
Between cyphers and compartmentalization, it became impossible to use torture to get the truth from captives; they simply didn’t know. For this reason, it also is also a tactical advantage to target your own intelligence network with a constant stream of disinformation. Given that 75% of Rome’s emperors were assassinated, the question one should ask is, “Was Rome’s intelligence apparatus successful? Or not?”
https://i.imgur.com/tQ073IU.png
Intelligence failures are usually the only real opportunity to study what goes on in secret. The frumentarii being infiltrated by the Christians they originally set out to vanquish is an interesting example; which turned to hunting the heretics within a single generation. The False Dmitry presented by the Jesuits, as they played kingmaker, was exposed. But these failures are never publicized as failures. Caesar was not the first to package defeats as victories.
Jesuit intelligence, known as “The Holy Alliance” had been operating for hundreds of years and well into World War II, where they managed to acquire the plans for the Nazi invasion of Russia. There is no reason to think that they are not in operation, today.

“The Unholy Alliance” was an expansion of the Holy Alliance to include Zionist and Wahhabist leadership. The average person does not want to believe the institutions they are loyal to are acting against their interests, but modernization has allowed for greater clandestine cooperation between covert groups. Many people are willing to accept that China and Russian military intelligence work together, but few Americans are willing to accept the US Intelligence, Five Eyes and Russia are also collaborating.
The Unholy Alliance is now global and, as James Angleton once said, “There are many rooms in the mansion.”

Behind all of these “on the ground” operations, is a great deal of data and communication and the implementation of propaganda goes hand in hand with anything that an operative does on the ground; exaggerating victories, covering for defeats, misdirecting enemies, misdirecting friends who could be spied on by enemies, and none of the compartmentalized groups have to be aware of what the other is doing.

A modern example of disinformation within compartments is the use of MARSOC in taking out Zeta Cartel assets.
https://i.imgur.com/RTYIBsn.png

While everyone can get on board with taking on the cartels and good soldiers are ready to do their part (Go, Team!), the Sinaloa Cartel was benefitting from the Fast and Furious gunwalking scandal. Our Marines were being used to take out Sinaloa competition. In a compartmentalized fashion, the overall picture is missed. In tandem with media spotlights and disinformation, the pattern of CIA dealing in drugs and guns is successfully ignored despite decades of proof.

Recently, the intelligence community was exposed as having compartments operating as out of control political action groups as a result of the FISA abuse. Their methods have become apparent to the average consumer of media despite great efforts to suppress information on the part of “proprietaries” cooperating with these covert groups.
“Under Surveillance” revealed a key piece of information, last year, where overly broad spying caught the WRONG Michael Cohen in Prague. Intelligence failures are the only chance the average person gets to see behind the curtain. In this instance, we see an agency with the capability of warrantlessly tracking cell phones, exposed as having cooperated in an effort to use false information to push a political narrative.
“Under Surveillance”:
bitchute.com/video/dykYtgYoAGMF/
Given the cooperation between the media and the FBI, as well as other agencies and a slew of seemingly private entities, it is clear a covert, compartmentalized methodology is at work; a modern intelligence operation of a vast scale. The vastness and openness in which it works is no longer even covert.

The extent of modern intelligence continues to accelerate.
https://i.imgur.com/CLU656t.png

Everywhere

While the public is repeatedly made aware of a small handful of intelligence bodies, the truth is that hundreds of them exist, with thousands of cut outs operating in plain sight. From Google to Stratfor to China’s MSS to Rosatom, there are trillions of dollars in resources mobilized against invading your privacy and everyone else’s for military, political and economical advantage. It is the logical conclusion of thousands of years of human motivation and innovation.
Long List of Intelligence Agencies:
https://i.imgur.com/erCCwCm.jpg
Don’t you feel safer, already?
On a scale of 1 - 10, how much safer has the world become with the rise of huge intelligence apparatuses?
The logical conclusion of the amount of data collection will be complete intelligence on nearly every person in the world. Automated analytical tools will continue to improve, as well. This intelligence is being implemented in a way that is obviously biased towards and aids in the expansion of authoritarianism. Non-sponsored influencers that don’t align with a predetermined agenda are “deboosted,” “shadow banned”, outright banned and media consumers are “hyper targeted” to massage their confirmation bias; where each article is written to cause outrage to one side of the political spectrum and schadenfreude to the other.

Hyper Targeting
https://i.imgur.com/lFsXev0.png
The ability to automate intelligence processes additionally allows fewer and fewer people to be involved at the highest levels, where your information is for sale to anyone with the money or political leverage.
Ad agencies are all aligned under a single master, where every ad is correlated to include multiple layers of propaganda.
Emotional triggers are programmed using “basic assumption theory”, where people’s basic assumptions are targeted to be able to program an emotional reaction in order to control how everyone votes.
https://i.imgur.com/avAh9u4.png
Bion specifically identified three basic assumptions: dependency, fight-flight, and pairing. When a group adopts any one of these basic assumptions, it interferes with the task the group is attempting to accomplish.
This makes Bion's job easy; convince everyone they are dependent on government, should be fighting each other, should be scared of each other and should not pair with each other.
While the idea of a large intelligence apparatus used to apply force multipliers to military operations is a good one and very effective; we will never see its full potential fulfilled until corrupt influences are removed from the equation. As the Romans learned, politicians with the reigns of intelligence are easily influenced and are a national security threat, when manipulated by enemies of its countryy's citizens.
It is in the interests of national security for the intelligence apparatus to root out and destroy corrupting influences; but that is not what is happening. Instead, we have a veritable web of slime that has exposed itself as it becoming drunken-mad with new, vast powers at their fingertips. The corrupted influences within the US government have turned the intelligence apparatus and the good, hard-working people on themselves; when it should be the other way around.
The only way to reverse this trend is to implement transparency and the only way to achieve that is to apply persistent and continuous pressure to the powers that be.

Regime Change

The culmination of all of these skills allow the pinnacle of projects for the intelligence community; regime change. The public is occasionally let in on the secret of covert regime changes, like the False Dmitry from “The Holy Alliance,” or some of the US covert regime changes around the world.

By funneling “intelligence” to increasingly smaller compartments, it becomes possible for the top compartment to control all others. Manipulating votes, then becomes a basic matter of group psychology.
In ELI5 terms, maybe it would look like:
”Two children's soccer teams compete. In the weeks before the competition, the coaches each convince that the other team is inhuman, evil, going to steal from them along with every other lie they can think of. When the game finally comes, the kids have more of a fight than a soccer game.”
Now, imagine if you were a peaceful team and only the other team was being manipulated. Political operatives call this strategy, "othering."
Self-fulfilling prophecy, is a primary facet of "Systems Psychodynamics;" telling people something over and over again until they believe it and act on it. People act the way they think they are supposed to act, so working on the basic assumptions of how they are supposed to act can change behavior.
One example is every horror movie where everyone splits up and acts hysterical. Only idiots act this way. Normal people work together in a rational manner.
If you tell a small child they are worthless every single day, they will have low self-esteem. If you build them up, instead, every single day, they have better self-esteem and are more likely to succeed.
Faking a consensus through saturation and repetition is also a type of self-fulfilling prophecy. A child sees all the other kids on TV playing with a toy and they want that toy. A child hears everyone at school talking about something they saw on TV and they want to see it, too.
The media machine wants everyone to think they are worthless; a state of mind and perception that is more marketable and easier to emotionally manipulate.
The news, TV shows, movies, video games, etc., are all using social dreaming to bring about a view or reality that is a faked consensus, but since one group can control the narrative on all these platforms, the fake consensus is very easy to create.
Tension centered strategies (creating anxiety/angeetc.) are used to create "organizational paradoxes," which is the "splitting" of groups. These groups are then kept in a "vicious cycle" of arguing and insulting so that no progress can be made without the manipulation of those overseeing the tension.
I think the monkey and the grape experiment shows exactly how easy it is to manipulate people using their sense of injustice as a trigger.

Robber's Cave Experiment
https://archive.ph/Haf72
The twenty-two boys in the study were unknown to each other and all from white middle-class backgrounds. They all shared a Protestant, two-parent background. None of the boys knew each other prior to the study. The boys were randomly assigned to one of two groups, although neither was aware of the other’s existence. They were then, as individual groups, picked up by bus on successive days in the summer of 1954 and transported to a 200-acre Boy Scouts of America camp in the Robbers Cave State Park in Oklahoma.
At the camp the groups were kept separate from each other and were encouraged to bond as two individual groups through the pursuit of common goals that required co-operative discussion, planning and execution. During this first phase, the groups did not know of the other group's existence. The boys developed an attachment to their groups throughout the first week of the camp, quickly establishing their own cultures and group norms, by doing various activities together like hiking, swimming, etc. The boys chose names for their groups, The Eagles and The Rattlers, and stenciled them onto shirts and flags.
Sherif now arranged the 'competition stage' where friction between the groups was to occur over the next 4-6 days. In this phase it was intended to bring the two groups into competition with each other in conditions that would create frustration between them. A series of competitive activities (e.g. baseball, tug-of-war etc.) were arranged with a trophy being awarded on the basis of accumulated team score. There were also individual prizes for the winning group such as a medal and a multi-bladed pocket knife with no consolation prizes being given to the "losers."
What this study found, though, was that both teams would work together to get food and water, as opposed to the original premise.
Unless someone was there to keep feeding the vicious cycle, people would, eventually, work together. What we learn from this, is that the news is primarily organized around creating tension to perpetuate a vicious cycle.

The Great Shill Machine: Mockingbird Global

https://i.imgur.com/bSBjSkw.png
Imagine if there was one desk that all stories could cross so that, at 4am, a media plan could be decided upon and disseminated where all news outlets coordinated to set the goalposts of debate and hyper focused on specific issues to drive a narrative to control how you vote and how you spend money; where Internet shills were given marching orders in tandem to what was shown on television, printed in newspapers and spread throughout articles on the World Wide Web.
The Allegory of the Cave is as relevant as it ever was, since it was conceived 2,000 years ago. Presented by the Greek philosopher Plato in his work Republic (514a–520a) to compare "the effect of education (παιδεία) and the lack of it on our nature".

CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY
Directorate of Operations
October 16, 1964
MEMORANDUM FOR THE DIRECTOR OF THE CIA
Subject: After action report of
Operation CUCKOO (TS)
INTRODUCTION
1) Operation CUCKOO was part of the overall operation CLEANSWEEP, aimed at eliminating domestic opposition to activities undertaken by the Central Intelligence Agency's special activities division, in main regard to operation GUILLOTINE.
2) Operation CUCKOO was approved by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Department of Defense and the office of The President of the United States as a covert domestic action to be under taken within the limits of Washington D.C as outlined by Secret Executive Order 37.
3) Following the publishing of the Warren Commission, former special agent Mary Pinchot Meyer (Operation MOCKINGBIRD, Operation SIREN) also was married to Cord Meyer (Operation MOCKINGBIRD, Operation GUILLOTINE) threatened to disclose the details of several Special Activities Divisions' operations, including but not limited to, Operation SIREN and GUILLOTENE.
4) It was deemed necessary by senior Directorate of Operations members to initiate Operation CUCKOO as an extension of Operation CLEANSWEEP on November 30th. After Mary Pinchot Meyer threatened to report her knowledge of Operation GUILLOTENE and the details of her work in Operation SIREN from her affair with the former President.
5) Special Activities Division was given the green light after briefing president Johnson on the situation. The situation report was forwarded to the Department of Defense and the Joint Chiefs of staff, who both approved of the parameters of the operation, as outlined under article C of secret executive order 37 (see attached copy of article).
PLANNING STAGES
6) 8 members of the special activities division handpicked by operation lead William King Harvey began planning for the operation on October 3rd, with planned execution before October 16th.
7) The (?) of the operation was set as the neighborhood of Georgetown along the Potomac river, where the operators would observe, take note on routines, and eventually carry the operation.
8) After nothing Meyer's routines, Edward "Eddy" Reid was picked as the operation point man who would intersect Meyer on her walk on October 12th, with lead William King Harvey providing long range support if necessary from across the Chesapeake and Ohio canal (see illustration A for detailed map).
9) Edward Reid was planned to be dressed in the manner of a homeless black man, due to his resemblances to local trash collector (later found out to be Raymond Crump) who inhabits the AO and the path that Reid was planned to intersect Meyer.
Operation Mockingbird has expanded to countless compartments; governmental, political, corporate. Internet astroturfing has approached the level such that no opinion that goes against the grain goes unchallenged by low wage shills.

There is a more recent example of a situation similar to the Yeti. When Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch met on the TARMAC to spike the Hillary email investigation, the FBI was so confident it wasn’t them, that their entire focus was finding the leaker, starting with searching within the local PD. We have documentation that demonstrates the state of mind of the confidence the upper levels of the FBI have when dealing with the media.

The Podesta Group, where John Podesta and Tony Podesta as registered foreign agents, work with the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and Russia’s similarly named, Troika Dialog (Troika = Trilateral). The Panama Papers exposed that the Podestas failed to disclose foreign financial relationships, which Manafort (who was working with the Podesta Group) was scapegoated for. When the Podesta Group finally started to cough up the legally required information, we were given a glimpse of how they operate, where they merely have to call up any news agency and tell them what to report.
https://i.imgur.com/W4qMiA1.png
It is interesting to note that Manafort was participating in a blackmail ring where he was forced to allow his wife to have sex with other men on video. The fact that this was virtually never reported on goes to show how well the mainstream media and even Internet astroturfing efforts can come together to protect John Podesta.

But, this problem extends far beyond politics; the private sector, the scientific community, even advice forums are shilled heavily. People are paid to cause anxiety, recommend people break up and otherwise sow depression and nervousness. This is due to a correlating force that employs “systems psychodynamics”, focusing on “tension centered” strategies to create “organizational paradoxes” by targeting people’s basic assumptions about the world around them to create division and provide distraction. Pharmaceutical companies benefit from sowing psychological problems and instability in people’s lives and there are now GPT3 bots that do nothing but try to get people to be unhappy.

In 1973, Allen & Company bought a stake in Columbia Pictures. When the business was sold in 1982 to Coca-Cola, it netted a significant profit. Since then, Herbert Allen, Jr. has had a place on Coca-Cola's board of directors.
Since its founding in 1982, the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference has regularly drawn high-profile attendees such as Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Rupert Murdoch, Barry Diller, Michael Eisner, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Johnson, Andy Grove, Richard Parsons, and Donald Keough.
Allen & Co. was one of ten underwriters for the Google initial public offering in 2004. In 2007, Allen was sole advisor to Activision in its $18 billion merger with Vivendi Games. In 2011, the New York Mets hired Allen & Co. to sell a minority stake of the team. That deal later fell apart. In November 2013, Allen & Co. was one of seven underwriters on the initial public offering of Twitter. Allen & Co. was the adviser of Facebook in its $19 billion acquisition of WhatsApp in February 2014.
In 2015, Allen & Co. was the advisor to Time Warner in its $80 billion 2015 merger with Charter Communications, AOL in its acquisition by Verizon, Centene Corporation in its $6.8 billion acquisition of Health Net, and eBay in its separation from PayPal.
In 2016, Allen & Co was the lead advisor to Time Warner in its $108 billion acquisition by AT&T, LinkedIn for its merger talks with Microsoft, Walmart in its $3.3 billion purchase of Jet.com, and Verizon in its $4.8 billion acquisition of Yahoo!. In 2017, Allen & Co. was the advisor to Chewy.com in PetSmart’s $3.35 billion purchase of the online retailer.
Allen & Co throws the Sun Valley Conference every year where you get a glimpse of who shows up. Harvey Weinstein, though a past visitor, was not invited last year.

Previous conference guests have included Bill and Melinda Gates, Warren and Susan Buffett, Tony Blair, Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Allen alumnus and former Philippine Senator Mar Roxas, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, Quicken Loans Founder & Chairman Dan Gilbert, Yahoo! co-founder Jerry Yang, financier George Soros, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch, eBay CEO Meg Whitman, BET founder Robert Johnson, Time Warner Chairman Richard Parsons, Nike founder and chairman Phil Knight, Dell founder and CEO Michael Dell, NBA player LeBron James, Professor and Entrepreneur Sebastian Thrun, Governor Chris Christie, entertainer Dan Chandler, Katharine Graham of The Washington Post, Diane Sawyer, InterActiveCorp Chairman Barry Diller, Linkedin co-founder Reid Hoffman, entrepreneur Wences Casares, EXOR and FCA Chairman John Elkann, Sandro Salsano from Salsano Group, and Washington Post CEO Donald E. George Tenet, with the reigns of Allen & Co in his hands, is able to single-handedly steer the entire Mockingbird apparatus from cable television to video games to Internet shills from a singular location determining the spectrum of allowable debate. Not only are they able to target people’s conscious psychology, they can target people’s endocrine systems with food and pornography; where people are unaware, on a conscious level, of how their moods and behavior are being manipulated.

2023.11.19 20:59 PartOfYourWorld3 Similac 360 & Silent Reflux

My daughter is 5 weeks old now. Since early in it was evident she had some kind of silent reflux, and I knew it to be silent reflux. She's had 3 doctors appointments where I have brought this up. I'm told formula won't make a difference and they don't like to treat with medication anymore. My first daughter developed bad silent reflux after she was born 7 years ago. We tried soy formula but constipation wasn't management so we ended up on Similac Sensitive and then used Zantac (it wasn't recalled until she was older). My 5 week old's symptoms are getting worse (she now cries after she eats, hiccups all the time, and worst of all she will not sleep flat anymore. It used to be just the bassinet she wouldn't sleep long in, but we could lay her on the couch (we would be right next to her) and she'd sleep for hours. Now we have to hold her upright or she cries and fusses in her sleep. Even doing that she seems restless and exhausted.
Has anyone had any success in getting doctors to treat silent reflux recently? Did a formula change help or was medicine what really solved the problem? I would like to call her doctor tomorrow and go back in. Looking for advice to help in that discussion.
Update: the doctor does not want to use medication yet. She suggested Alimentum formula and probiotics.

Why You Need a Personal Injury Lawyer in Deltona, Florida

Experiencing a personal injury can be a stressful and challenging time. The process of recovery, coupled with the burden of medical bills and loss of income, can be overwhelming. This is why you need a personal injury lawyer in Deltona, Florida. This comprehensive guide will explain why having a personal injury attorney by your side is crucial.

Understanding Personal Injury Law

Before we discuss the importance of hiring a personal injury lawyer, let's understand what personal injury law entails.

What is Personal Injury Law?

Personal injury law, also known as tort law, allows an injured person to go to civil court and get legal remedies for all losses resulting from an accident or other incident. The purpose of the personal injury system is to allow the injured person to be compensated financially after he or she has suffered harm due to someone else's carelessness or intentional conduct.
📷

Common Types of Personal Injuries

Personal injuries can occur in many ways, including car accidents, slip and fall accidents, medical malpractice, defective products, and workplace accidents. Regardless of how the injury occurred, if another party caused or contributed to your injuries, they might be held legally responsible.

The Role of a Personal Injury Lawyer

A personal injury lawyer is a legal professional who provides services to those who claim to have been injured, either physically or psychologically, as a result of the negligence of another person or entity.

What Does a Personal Injury Lawyer Do?

A personal injury lawyer performs many important duties. These include explaining your rights, providing advice, representing you in court, and conducting professional investigations. They also review medical records, work with insurance companies, and fight for the compensation you deserve.

Why You Need a Personal Injury Lawyer in Deltona, Florida

Hiring a personal injury lawyer in Deltona, Florida, can provide significant advantages.

They Understand the Legal Process

Personal injury attorneys have extensive knowledge of the legal process surrounding personal injury claims. They know how to interpret and apply the laws that pertain to your case, file legal documents, and handle other legal procedures.

They Can Negotiate With Insurance Companies

Insurance companies often attempt to offer the lowest possible amount to settle claims. A personal injury lawyer understands how to negotiate with insurance companies to ensure you receive the compensation you deserve.

They Can Increase Your Chances of Receiving Maximum Compensation

By building a strong case and representing your interests, a personal injury lawyer maximizes your chances of obtaining a high settlement or winning your case at trial.

Selecting the Right Personal Injury Lawyer in Deltona

Choosing the right personal injury lawyer is crucial for your case. Here are some factors to consider.

Experience and Track Record

Look for a lawyer who specializes in personal injury law and has a proven track record of success.

Reputation

A lawyer's reputation can give you an idea of their honesty, integrity, and competence. Check online reviews and ask for client testimonials.

Communication Skills

Your lawyer should be able to communicate clearly and effectively, keeping you informed about your case's progress.

Final Thoughts on The Importance of Hiring a Personal Injury Lawyer

Experiencing a personal injury can result in physical, emotional, and financial distress. However, you don't have to navigate the legal maze alone. Hiring a personal injury lawyer in Deltona, Florida, can significantly improve your chances of receiving the maximum compensation possible.
Remember, choosing the right attorney is crucial. By considering factors such as experience, reputation, and communication skills, you can ensure you have the best legal representation. 2023.05.15 20:34 themildones Tell me about how your GP started?

I've been dealing with stomach issues for about 2 years now and I'm wondering if I might be in the beginning stages of GP. I can't find much info on how it effects people in the beginning, though. How did your symptoms start? How quickly did it advance, and what tests did your doctor do before reaching the GP diagnosis?
Whatever my issue is started with nausea and vomiting in the morning, and was gone by around noon. It's progressed since then to almost 24/7 nausea and vomiting multiple times a week. The list of foods that don't make me sick is shortening weekly. I also have a near-constant gnawing pain that comes in waves right below my ribs, in the center.
I've taken a breath-test for H. pylori, which came back negative. I've been on Prilosec for several months (before that it was pepcid for years, and before that, zantac) and it does seem to help my acid reflux, but not the vomiting or nausea.
Also, a lot of the time when I vomit in the morning, it's undigested food. I also can't eat after 4-5pm and can't go to bed until about 10 pm, unless I want to start vomiting in the early hours of the morning.
I just left my family doctor, who ordered a stool test (I'm alsp having daily severe diarrhea) and a stomach ultrasound. She said she's likely going to schedule an upper endoscopy.

2023.04.07 15:25 cinnamonandcrime The Body in the Barn: In 2017 skeletal remains were located in a disused barn in rural Hampshire, UK. They lay unnoticed and untouched for 5 years. Who was this travelling Frenchman?

In 2017, the skeletal remains of a male were located in a disused barn near Micheldever, Hampshire, UK. In 2019 witnesses came forward stating the male was a French traveller, whom they met in 2012. It is believed he died shortly after this meeting. Despite various tests, including fingerprint and DNA testing, he is yet to be identified.
The body in the barn
On 1st December 2017, units from Hampshire Constabulary were searching the Micheldever area as part of an unrelated investigation when officers came across an old and disused barn. Officers entered and searched the barn when they located the skeletal remains of an unknown male.
The barn itself was a disused cattle shed, which formed part of the abandoned Borough Down Farm. The site was heavily overgrown and had not been used for over 50 years. Due to the remote location of the barn, it is unlikely any persons would be passing by other than the occasional dog walker.
Here you can find a photo of the barn in its proximity to Micheldever, a small village 6 miles north of Winchester. As you can see it’s a fairly rural location, adjacent to the train line which runs south to Winchester and north to Basingstoke. Here is a bird’s eye view of the area itself. The area is largely overgrown with trees and bushes; several buildings can be seen in this overgrown area and it is not clear which building is the barn in question. There is no photo available of the front of the barn itself.
Clothing found with the remains were a pair of Wellington Boots (size 10), a blue zip-up fleece jacket, a blue jumper, and jogging trousers. Although not stated, the reconstruction shows the male also wearing a grey beanie hat.
The blue jumper found on the remains contained a label with the words ‘casual sportif’ and the image of a fleur-de-lis. I’ve been unable to find whether ‘Casual Sportif’ is the brand or simply a line of clothing (meaning ‘sporty-casual’). The French words and image of the fleur-de-lis however implies the clothing is of French origin.
Several further items were found alongside the skeletal remains, including:
· A sleeping bag
· A black Karrimor rucksack
· An umbrella
· An A-Z map of Great Britain. Written on the front of the book is “Waterloo – Winchester. £27.20/2”.
· The novel ‘The Close’ by Marina Cole, released in 2006
· Reading glasses
· White t-shirt
· 4/5 white flannels
· 2 packets of polos
· A pack of Germolene (anti-septic cream)
· Garden trowel
· A pair of yellow gardening/outdoor gloves and a pair of black cotton gloves.
· Flask
· Torch
· A Sony Walkman-style radio
· Tobacco and rizla papers
· Various food wrappers
· A pack of Zantac (to relieve heartburn and indigestion. In 2020 the FDA removed Zantac globally due to its link to cancer seen in animals).
No form of identification was found with the remains
Whilst not all items have had photos released to the public, all available photos of these items can be found here.
Investigation and identity
A post mortem examination was conducted on the remains which showed no signs of assault or restraint. Although no cause of death could be identified, due to the lack of apparent suspicious circumstances, the corner ruled that it was likely the male died from natural causes. The coroner stated he would have died at least a year prior to discovery.
The male was determined to be middle aged, although possibly older, 5’6-5’7 in height, medium build, with short brown hair and a narrow face. He was also believed to possibly have an overbite. It was also stated the male had good dental care in his younger life, however poorer dental health in his later life – there is no further information regarding this statement.
Various lines of enquiries were conducted in an attempt to identify the male, including reviewing all known missing persons, dental examinations, fingerprint analysis and DNA testing – both within UK and European databases. Sadly all enquiries were fruitless and the male remains unidentified.
After 2 years of no leads, the Anthropology Department at the University of Dundee created a facial reconstruction of the skull. This image, along with some of the photos of the belongings, were released to the public in 2019.
Appeals and witnesses – The French traveller
Following the public appeal in 2019, 3 witnesses came forward who said they interacted with the male in the late summer of 2012. This information regarding the witnesses were not released to the public until 2022. The witnesses, who lived in the small village of Itchen Stoke approximately 8 miles away from the barn stated the male had asked to camp overnight in their garden. The witnesses described the male as white skinned, clean shaven, with brown hair, and aged in his late 30’s to early 40’s. They explained that he was French and appeared to have a military background, and may have been suffering from mental health issues at the time. The male stated he was hard of hearing in one ear due to his time in the military, that his parents were deceased, and that he was possibly heading to Ireland or Canada. Prior to him leaving, the witnesses gave the male some items, including camping equipment, food, and a £20 note, some of which were later found with the remains.
The walk from Itchen Stoke to the barn would have taken approximately 2.5 hours.
Prior to the release of the witness information in 2022, I had found a women (who I now believe to be one of the witnesses) on a Facebook appeal. Obviously I will not include her identity but going forward I will refer to her as Mary. Her comments can be found here, and a transcript is below:
2019: “We have just provided some information to the Police that we sincerely hope will help in the process of identifying this poor man RIP with dignity”
2021: (in response to another user asking it there was any update): “Thank you for caring.. no very sadly, he hasn’t been, even after we provided the police with information. He was given the items pictured by my husband when he appeared wandering (by choice, according to him) without barely anything. He was a Frenchman. We think he may have been terminally ill and chose to die alone. He was a very interesting and polite man. I still very much hope it concludes with identifying him and eventually telling his story”.
The images included in this appeal were the map book, the rucksack, and the yellow gloves. It’s not clear if Mary is suggesting all of these items were given to the male, or merely one or some of them. This comment does however tie up with the witness information released by the Police and so for this reason I believe Mary was one of the witnesses the male camped with.
I did some digging around Mary and her address (which for obvious reasons, I won’t include here), and researched other persons living in that area – due to how rural the area is I wondered if the unidentified male may have come from or went to other persons in the area. During my search I located a women who I now believe to also be one of the 3 witnesses mentioned by Police. This woman, who I will name Linda, was/is a writer for Country Life magazine and happened to write an article about a French male who camped at her property. I have excluded her name in the article, however the article can be easily found with a bit of digging. An image of the article can be found here.
In this article Linda states a male came to her property with a small rucksack. She states he was a French man and asked for somewhere to pitch his tent whilst he was on a walking holiday, which she agreed to. She describes him as having little belongings; a small tent, a plastic bag with a razor, some tobacco and a sleeping bag. He did not appear to have any food or camping equipment. The male told her he was an only child with an elderly mother, and that his father had shot himself in front of him when he was a boy. He said he was deaf in one ear from an explosion he’d witnessed whilst in the French Foreign Legion. The male stated he had come from Dover, around 126 miles away (Dover is the main port from Calais in France over to the UK). Although the article stated the male walked, this is physically impossible to do in a day so I can only assume he hitchhiked or jumped on the back of one of the lorries entering the port.
The male told Linda he was heading to Salisbury (29 miles away) and ultimately onto Canada. He stated he was a musician who played at jazz festivals and was following a girl to Canada. Linda appears to have taken the male to her neighbours to spend the night, who, in the morning cooked him breakfast, gave him £20 and a map, and drove him into town.
Given the information provided by Linda and Mary, I believe that the two of them, plus Mary’s husband, are the 3 witnesses mentioned by the Police. It appears the male had first approached Linda, before staying the night with Mary and her husband. Mary and her husband have fed the male, given him items that were later found with the remains, and taken him on his way. Some point after this the male has died, and 5 years later his remains were located.
So who was the French traveller, where was he going, and how did he die?
From all the information gained by the Police and from witnesses, this is what we do know (assuming that what the male said to the witnesses was the truth):
· French white male, aged in his late 30s to early 40s. He was clean shaven, with short brown hair, and was 5’6-5’7 in height.
· Was travelling in 2012 and likely died the same time
· Spent time in the military, most likely the French Foreign Legion
· Possibly has an elderly mother, with his father committing suicide. No siblings.
· Musician, known to play jazz festivals
· Hard of hearing or deaf in one ear
· Heading to Salisbury, Ireland or Canada to find a girl
Some questions I still have around this male:
· When exactly did he die? He was found not far from where he interacted with the witnesses, so I can only assume he died the same day if not shortly after. As someone who had travelled over 100 miles already, with the intension of travelling 100s more, for him to be found only 8 miles away from his last known sighting indicates to me he died shortly after being with the witnesses.
· If he did die at this time, what did he die off? There were no marks to the body to indicate anything other than a natural death. Late summer in the UK means that hypothermia isn’t an issue for rough sleepers, and none of the witnesses appear to have reported him in any pain. What would cause someone to die 8 miles later after apparently being fine all night and evening?
· Did the male suddenly start feeling unwell after leaving the witnesses, and found some shelter to lay down, dying shortly after this? If so, what would come on so suddenly and prove fatal so quickly?
· Or did the male spend weeks or months here, ultimately dying of starvation or exposure? If so, why did he travel so far, lie to the witnesses about his ongoing travel, and then only travel a further 8 miles where he stayed until his death?
Regardless of the circumstances of his death, we still don’t have a name for this man. I have tried searching French websites but have been unable to find any sort of missing persons website – I’m unsure if this information is publicly available.
Whilst there are conflicting statements around whether both his parents were deceased or whether his mother was still alive, someone out there must be missing him. There is so much information available to us about this male that we don’t usually get with unidentified remains, and it frustrates me that we can’t put a name to him.
I would love to hear everyone else’s thoughts on this male, and particularly any French residents that may be able to assist with searching French websites/missing reports.

2023.04.03 05:43 Few-Entertainment612 Heartburn

Oh man, does anyone get the worst heartburn of their lives on sertraline? Every now and then if I take it and don’t drink a full cup of water or sit up for long enough when I take it, I end up with the most excruciating, unrelenting heartburn. Has anyone figured out a good home remedy for when you’re already suffering, I know all the things I can do beforehand but I messed up tonight 🫠.
Side note, I know you’re not supposed to take Pepcid but what about Zantac? I’ve heard mixed things.

2023.03.23 03:35 ann_life Anxiety, hormones or gastrointestinal problems?

My question is: Does this sound more like gastritis, an anxiety disorder, or fluctuating/imbalanced hormones? Possibly a combo of these things?
Here’s what I’ve been experiencing:
Almost 7 years ago after giving birth to my first child I had a ton of gastro/anxiety issues. I’d feel a constant turning or nervousness in my stomach with flares of intense anxiety. I felt like it was worse when I didn’t eat but also worse when I did eat. At some point I went to the emergency room because I couldn’t deal anymore. And they gave me some sort of “numbing” concoction that immediately made it all go away. And then they said I had gastritis. So I did my best to treat it at home…No more fried food, acidic or spicy food etc etc and most importantly no more coffee. I also took Zantac when I slipped up on diet or felt it flaring up. It was ok but it didn’t go away and I had a hard time enjoying life because of the constant state of anxiety. I lost weight as well and felt somewhat frail.
Fast forward 1.5ish years later I get pregnant with my second and just like that, ALL of those symptoms just disappear. Almost never feel anxiety or nervousness in my stomach etc. Postpartum was also great and I just felt ALIVE with out the constant “fear” I had felt daily prior. And I enjoyed that for about 4 years. In that time frame I got pregnant with baby number 3. Pregnancy & postpartum were great. I had just the tiniest few moments of anxiety/gastro issues but nothing intense or even bothersome. I ate anything I wanted, started drinking coffee daily again (mostly decaf or half decaf) and chocolates/desserts.
Now about 4 months ago, just about the time I got my period back (9 months postpartum) I suddenly start having this anxiety/gastrointestinal distress again that includes: -Feeling of impending doom -Nervous stomach -Cold sweat -Sometimes trembling/shaking with teeth chattering like I’m cold but I’m not cold -Sometimes urgent need to defecate or pass gas -Belching
Things that help: -Having a bowel movement or passing gas (almost all the symptoms immediately go away after this) -Eating an apple -Calming myself down with deep breaths and affirming words/thoughts
These “episodes” don’t usually last long.. most of them are 1-10 minutes long and I feel much better immediately but the thought of it happening again has me feeling anxious for the rest of the day.
This has started happening more and more frequently and is the worst about a week before my period is due. At first that was my indication that I’m about to have the monthly visitor but now it’s happening regardless of my cycle.
I’m partly suspicious it’s due to gut problems, but when I was told I had gastritis there were no actual tests done, it was just based off my symptoms. I’ll be scheduling an appt to get blood work and hormone levels checked as well as talk to a doctor about all of this and see what other tests we can do, but I wanted to share my story and see if anyone else has had anything similar or has any ideas of what I should be focusing on when I ask for tests.

2023.02.06 13:55 helpmeplstyty Could really use some help or advice

I am almost certain what I’m experiencing is LPR /silent reflux + asthma but I can’t seem to prove it let alone treat it. My symptoms have been puzzling doctors for some time—they’ve gotten progressively worse, going from jaw pain to ear pain to throat pain to difficulty speaking and now having throat tightness and respiratory issues pretty much any time I eat a meal, regardless of what I eat. My ENT did a nasolaryngoscopy and said everything looked normal, said this would have detected LPR. Multiple doctors have diagnosed me with everything from TMJ to ear infection to anxiety. I had an allergy scratch test done and it turned up no common allergies. As much as it feels horrifyingly how I’d imagine anaphylaxis would feel, I don’t get hives or any puffiness or anything, just throat and respiratory symptoms, occasionally heartburn. I’m taking Prilosec and Zantac daily as well as tums as needed. I’m sleeping upright and not eating before bed. I’m avoiding caffeine, chocolate, tomatoes, etc but even when I’ve eaten these foods there seems to be no consistent pattern. I suffered a pretty severe asthma attack the other day about an hour after having a latte and some honey butter toast (totally standard snack for me) and couldn’t get to my inhaler for awhile, it completely wrecked me, I was quickly put on short course prednisone by the ER docs and sent home. This has continued happening even on the prednisone and I’ve needed my rescue inhaler several times since then. Something really scary is happening to my body, I’m scared to eat anything, I feel like my organs are not working how they should and like I’m in danger because of this. When I try to express my concern to doctors they write me off as an anxious hypochondriac. Does this experience/symptomology sound familiar to anyone? Is that true about the nasolaryngoscopy? What tests should I ask for? What can I do in the meantime? I hate posting on Reddit because I know it’s not a solution but I don’t feel like my doctors are appreciating the urgency of this.

2023.01.27 14:20 tuoloado How I healed my stomach

Recently after 2 years of struggle I have finally resolved my stomach issues. I am sharing this information so that it may help others.
First some backstory. I am a middle aged male and my problems started when I starting eating more especially more spicy and greasy foods. I used to eat pretty healthy in the past in part because I also had (minor) stomach issues. This unhealthy dieet combined with massive amounts of stress and borderline depression seem to have caused my stomach issues. I also gained about 14kg.
They say that stress doesn't cause stomach ulcers but I tested for H. Pylori and I don't have it and I don't remember taking any NSAIDs. All I had was lots of stomach acid (in my throat) because of bad eating habits and not listening to my body. Maybe I am just unfortunate to have a thin stomach wall.
I remember on day, after several months of having acid reflux in my throat, that was very stressed and my stomach just starting melting. It felt like there was something stuck and at the same time an empty hurting feeling right below my sternum where my ribcage end.
The pain went away when I ate and returned when my stomach was empty, maybe this is why I started eating so much in the first place. When the pain was there it was constant, a constant nagging empty feeling. It feels a bit like being hungry but not really because it never went away and it is very constant unlike hunger pangs which sort of wave up and down and then disappear after a while.
On bad days I would be sweating and getting dizzy because of the pain. I also felt like I had to move and my legs felt very restless.
My stomach now feels way better. That is not to say I have an iron stomach, it does still sometimes hurt but I would say the pain/annoyance level went from a 8/10 to a 2/10.
Anyway, this is what I did to manage my stomach issues:
Cabbage juice - I drink cabbage juice (almost) every day. I make a liter of cabbage juice using red cabbage and water, the ratio is about 50/50. I usually also put some celery and carrots in there. It also contains a tea spoon of slippery elm. I am fairly certain it is mostly the cabbage that does the work.
I drink it in the morning right after I wake up and brush my teeth. A liter is a lot so there is usually plenty left over that I drink over the rest of the day. I think the juice fills my stomach and helps against the pain - again I felt stomach pain when my stomach was empty.
Exercise - I exercise everyday in the morning for an hour as well as walk 8000 steps. Somehow this helps reduce the pain in my stomach fairly immediately. It helps a lot.
Diet - I follow the advice from the book "The acid watcher diet". I don't eat sour, spicy or greasy foods and eat only healthy foods with a high ph value. I highly recommend this book.
Medicine - At first I did want to use PPI's but after a year of trying to resolve it without I gave up. The above mentioned methods (cabbage juice, diet, exercise) reduced my pain from about 8/10 to a 5/10. It was manageable but still very annoying and I would actually still make me cranky.
It seems that PPI's take a couple of days to really kick in and at first they also seem to cause more stomach pain, or the pain would just move from middle of my stomach to somewhere to the left (which was still a relive). It also causes a mild headache, and at one point it did cause a migraine. When it does finally kick in the pain would be like a 1/10. I toke the PPI's for 6 months or so while still following a strict diet and exercise regime.
I used 20mg of omeprazol daily. I first used a generic brand and it made the pain so much worse so I switched to a brand called losecosan. They have the same active ingredient so I don't know why it would matter. The generic brand did come as capsule and losecosan as a tablet so maybe this does something with the absorption time or something.
After 6 months or so I started taking 10mg of omeprazol and after another month only 5mg.
I then switched to H2 blockers. I toke 200mg of cimetidine daily (brand Tagamet). I also tried 20mg of famotidine (Zantac) but that really messed me up. Made my stomach pain way worse and gave me headaches. I now don't use any PPI's or H2 blockers, I do take tums when I feel acid in my throat.
Stomach massage - I have not really seen this mentioned anywhere but stomach massage helped me a lot especially when my stomach issue flares up.
When my stomach starts hurting I gently massage my stomach with a small massage gun. I very gently press it around the area where it hurst and move it around slowly in the general area of my stomach. I use the lowest setting and I am very careful. I do this for about 15 minutes. I also try to be very mindful of where the pain is and how it feels when I massage the area of my stomach. At the same time I try to relax into the pain and genuinely see it as a positive signal of my body that something is wrong instead of the enemy.
This stomach massage calms me down a lot and also removes the rough edges of the pain. It does seem to somehow shake things loose and pain start moving around instead of just sitting in one place as a nagging feeling. It is then no longer constant and start to resemble hunger pangs more.
Again, I have not find any information about this on the internet. Which baffles me because it really makes a difference.
Protein intake - In addition to following the advice given in 'The acid watcher diet' I also increased my protein intake from about 50 grams daily to 150 grams daily, which is about 2g x my weight in kg. I do this mainly by eating lots of lean low-fat chicken, as long as I eat very slowly (because it is a lot of chicken) my stomach really seems to like it. I think this is because lean chicken has a high ph value as it is just bland protein without any carbs or fats. I am guessing fish would also be good.
--
Things that did not work: - Long duration intermittent fasting (feeding window of less than 8 hours) - Apple vinegar or any other sour food - Ignoring the pain - Taking rest and not exercising - Eating big meals
Things that may work: - Short duration intermittent fasting (feeding window of more than 8 hours) - Cold showers, to combat inflammation - Socialising - Liquorice
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor just a some who did a lot of experimenting to try to fix his stomach problems.
Hope this helps someone. Don't give up hope and keep looking for solutions!

2023.01.10 22:01 Ruktiet Do I have MCAS (long post, but I'd really appreciate any help, because I can't find a doctor willing to actually help me)?

I recently posted the following in several subreddits, but they didn't lead to new lines of thinking about possible diagnosis. In the meanwhile, my situation has changed slightly:
"Dear Reddit,
I humbly beg you to help me by providing some useful information regarding my problems as I'm terribly suffering. If I wasn't as philosophically inclined and appreciative of life as I am, I might resort to suicidal thoughts in this situation, as I have suffered so much debilitating pain and have seen only deterioration in my state of health, despite trying everything in my power, following conventional medicine to trying out all different kinds of diets and supplements. Because it's very difficult to paint the full picture of my anamnesis without writing a book, I'll summarise the key points below chronologically. The bullet in bold is where this post is mostly about. What comes before it, is relevant information regarding my state of health before this onset:
Before the onset of my current symptoms:
Current Symptoms:
Given that I tested positive for SIBO, and given that my symptoms didn't improve upon treatment, I was wondering whether SIFO/Small intestinal Candida albicans overgrowth could cause such symptoms; duodenal ulcers and villous atrophy, such as seen in e.g. Celiac's disease. Could SIFO be the missing piece to explain my chronic duodenal inflammation and ulceration, extreme pain, histamine intolerance, mucus in stool, anal discomfort, cholinergic urticaria, brain fog, flu-like muscle ache, foul smelling body odor, acne, and other mentioned symptoms? I am not inclined to undergo treatment for something I don't know I have, thus I would like to be quite sure before I start taking antifungals if it indeed turns out to be Candida albicans.
I am suffering terribly, and am very afraid of what is going to happen to me. Every day is worse than the next. The pain is so intense, I feel like something bad is going to happen very soon, such as that my ulcer will start to bleed or perforate, because the PPI's are clearly not working. I had to quit my education and can't work. I am living with my parents who take care of me, even though I'm only 24. I need help, because I have lost all hope, and especially all hope in modern medicine, especially that of gastro-enterology in Belgium.
Thank you so much for reading this. Any help would be much appreciated."
I had a colonoscopy and new upper endoscopy, and the ulcer disappeared, and there were no signs of any inflammation in my large intestine, nor ileum. No indiations of IBD. My PhD gastroenterologist of a very reputable hospital concluded I suffer from nerve pain and, as the third doctor in a row, prescribed tricyclic antidepressants. I personally do not believe that is relevant medication for me in the slightest. My pain has subsided a bit, and now I'm tapering off my PPI. The pain and discomfort is clearly exacerbated by large amounts of gas in my upper GI-tract that I eventually belch out. I noticed that, by far, red meat is an incredible trigger for my histamine intolerance-like symptoms. I can barely eat half an ounce of it without getting dizzy, nauseous fatigue and urges to have bowel movements, followed by an adrenaline rush with tachycardia and inexplicable anxiety. I got tested for alpha-gal syndrome, but it was negative. I also experience very strange cold spots and very cold hands and feet in the night. This feeling is paired with burning skin, and sometimes cold sweat. These atypical symptoms make me doubt whether it's actual histamine intolerance. That's why I stumbled upon MCAS. Does my medical history indicate MCAS? I don't react to pressure, smells, or things like that, only when my body heats up; cholinergic urticaria, and things like meat and homemade kefir. A last thing to mention is that, out of desperation, I took an Organic Acids Test from Great Plains Laboratories, and I had elevated arabinose, which, according to them, indicates Candida species overgrowth in the gastrointestinal tract. What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks in advance.

2022.12.20 19:25 NoOz1985 Guys, can SIBO just appear out of the blue?

Me, female, 37 years old. Was diagnosed with severe endometriosis and adenomyosis in 2020. Bowel adhered to uterus. No bowel pain other than a slight tugging feeling with a BM. Colorectal surgeon decided to leave it alone during surgery. No DIE, he thinks. (deeply invaded endo) he hasn't checked the inside of my bowel but thinks I'm good cause there are no symptoms.
So I've always had perfect bowel movements after I figured out what kind of food allergies I have. I've been suffering IBS for many many years before figuring out it was allergy related. Changed my diet and it all went smooth and I was "cured".
Last month I started antibiotics for sinusitis. A course of 8 days. No bowel problems, nothing weird. Just finished the course. Then, almost a month later I started getting EXTREME bloat and a sour feeling in my upper abdomen. A sour bitter acidic taste in my mouth 24/7 and little sour burps. Also a lot of passing gas, mostly during the evenings. This started after a week of eating crappy. (too much fast food and sugars)
I immidiatly thought it was gastritis cause I was on a lot of ibuprofen as well for my sinusitis. So I started eating healthy and bland right away. I noticed the symptoms from years ago, where I also had gastritis-like symptoms. But chickened out of the endoscopy. Twice.
So I have no idea if I suffer gastritis. My gallbladder was checked via ultrasound and was told it is fine.
The thing is that I also get diarrhea after EVERYTHING I eat. It's still a bit solid, and still has a normal BM shape. But I would say it's diarrhea. Also the farts smells bad. Something I've never had. My partner used to joke that my farts never smell. And he hasn't smelled one of them in the 20 years we're together. But boy, it smells.
I have a feeling it's SIBO. Maybe the antibiotics set something off? But why do I have the acidic taste in my mouth? And the burning upper abdomen. The bloat is so extreme that it hurts. Can't even close my pants anymore.
My gp thinks it's stomach issues, but I've never been tested because I can't get myself to do an endoscopy. My shoulders also hurt. My back as well. And I feel so so bloated.
I've taken Zantac since the day this started. And maybe this is causing diarrhea as well? It's known to do that.
I just wonder what's going on. Gp is going to check for h pylori. She's not worried. But i feel like a pumped up yogaball 24/7
Does this sound like SIBO? Will probiotics help?
Also.. I suddenly have anxiety when I'm so bloated. I feel I hyperventilate because the bloat makes it hard for me to breathe deeply. But it's so weird that anxiety (out of the blue. Sometimes even near a panic attack) happens with these symptoms. I have no reason to be anxious.

2022.12.10 11:35 schizotea Hello, I(16F) am prone to episodic hypoglycemia and have had episodes frequently throughout my life. My mother says it is just a genetic thing. I am wondering if this is a medical condition that I should get tested for?

I am 16f, 5'3, around 100lbs (exact weight cannot currently be checked) and mixed native american/causasian. i am not on any medications however I have taken many different types of medication for ADHD as well as generic versions of zantac and zyrtec. I occasionally drink a couple of shots of vodka/strong alcohol but nothing outside of that.
Here is my main concern: I am prone to episodic hypoglycemia. It is usually not very serious however can cause very debilitating pain in my arms and legs. I have had stabbing pains that felt like my blood was stabbing me when my blood sugar was low. It has gotten to the point that for a couple of months, I had confused it with Leukemia. I do not have diabetes. My father developed type 2 long after I was born. I also cannot recognize hunger cues unless they are very painful due to level 2 autism which does make my hypoglycemic episodes worse. My mother says this is just something our family experiences, but I am wondering if this is a genetic disorder that I should request to get tested for? Google does not show any relevant suggestions of what I should ask my doctor about.

2022.12.05 22:29 Dry-Zombie9105 Sibo? Not sibo?

Hello. I have been following this page for a couple of months as my doctors and I believe I have SIBO. It started earlier this year after I drank something that went bad. An hour or two later I was extremely nauseous but pushed through. Then suddenly my stomach was making gurgling noises so loud. Anyone around me could hear it. I was extremely embarrassed. When I got back home I checked and saw that my drink had some type of fungus or bacteria floating in it and immediately threw away. Thinking this would be a one day thing I didn’t think much of it. Next morning I was constipated and extremely bloated. These symptoms along with loud gurgling would continue on. I then started to belch like crazy. Obviously something was wrong so I went to the GI doctors. I was told I had gastritis and I could tell the dr wasn’t taking me seriously. They put me on something like Zantac and said I should feel a lot better. Two weeks go by and I had only gotten worse. The medicine was making me belch even more I couldn’t control it. I go back to the doctor who says once again it’s gastritis (I’ve had gastritis before this was not it). I go low fodmap and we run some blood work and get ultrasounds. Everything looks fine. 3 or 4 months go by and I’m only getting worse. I was on a no sugar, low carb diet and nothing helped. Fiber made me much worse. I wasn’t digesting vegetables at all. May goes by and suddenly I’m having painful diarrhea and panic attacks. Couldn’t eat at all. Finally realized it was histamine issue. I got to see my GI and they gave me to a PA. She said it sounds like SIBO. Asks dr if I should be put on antibiotics, she says no. Over the summer I get a NP, who suggest it’s SIBO. We test twice (glucose and lactulose) both negative. My NP does extensive bloodwork for underlying condition. Found nothing. I do my own course of herbs. I feel a little better. My NP wants to test me with fructose, my GI wants to put me on antidepressants. I am unsure of what I have and have no idea what to do. I feel lost. I barely eat. Anyone else have something similar? Any ideas?
EDIT: forgot to mention I’ve had endoscopy done, everything was negative. My naturopath and GI say I am a perfectly healthy young adult.

2022.10.28 17:38 Fit_Dare6080 scared to follow through with first time colonoscopy

I'm an almost 48 year old female scheduled to get a screening colonoscopy/ diagnostic endoscopy in a few weeks. My history, is pots episodes ( which make me terrified of being dehydrated), and gerd with hiatal hernia from pregnancy, and pretty severe panic disorder that I treat with intense exercise. The only medication I take is pepcid ac ( which does not control gerd like zantac did).
I have never had a laxative in my life and I am to take 2 ducolax followed by an entire bottle of miralax and I'm scared as he'll of this. I have passed out with stomach viruses due to pots
I am planning to be unsedated as I've never used sedation even during childbirth and a d and c. I have a huge drug phobia.
My fears are passing out during the prep. I have low BP and my resting heart rate is low... 35 to 38 while sleeping..... another reason I won't do propofol. I cannot tolerate dehydration well as my vision Grey's and I am prone to passing out.
I also realized that according to my app I may have my period during the colonoscopy, is that an issue?
I'm thinking I just shouldn't eat 3 days before and drastically reduce the prep.
Unfortunately I may cancel the endoscopy part right now even though that's what I have symptoms for. I'm trying to find transnasal endoscopy in the northeast if anyone knows of a doctor who does it. But the fear is growing by the day here!

2022.10.05 05:58 doyouwatmoore Is there actually hope for me?

Hi all! I just found this sub after over a year since I was diagnosed with Chronic idiopathic urticaria. I was wondering if anyone here might have some new ideas about what I can do to manage my hives.
They started spontaneously over a year ago. It was just a few hives along my sock line. When they showed up I thought, oh weird, I’ll just take an antihistamine and they’ll go away. Later that day I was covered in hives. So I kept taking antihistamines but now the hives wouldn’t go away. I went to my PCP who referred me first to a dermatologist who suggested three courses of action.
All three of these options made my life a living hell. The hives were so bad. At that point the dermatologist literally said “well you’ll probably just have to live with it then and hope it goes away.” Rip.
I went back to my PCP and got a referral for an allergist. The allergist suggested yet a different class of antihistamine at a fairly high dose. I said “sure why not, let’s try it.” Once again the hives got worse. He then also said “well there’s nothing more we can do for you.” And I was like “but what if I get seasonal allergies?” And he said “just use nasal spray and antihistamine eye drops.” I tried the eye drops and once again got hives all over my body.
Then the hives went down to where they were uncomfortable but I could live with them everyday and they basically just stayed on my feet where nobody could see them anyway.
Fast forward to last week. I got the flu shot: which I have to do as I work in healthcare. That night I woke up with some of the worst hives I’ve ever had. I had to call in sick to work the next day. So I said screw it we’re going to a different allergist. I looked up immunologists in my area that specialize in hives. This doctor suggested Xolair. I agreed to try it and now I’m waiting for the insurance to approve it before I get my first shot.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation and have any advice? I’ve still been waking up every morning with hives. They go down throughout the day and then come back at night. Are there any other treatments I can try that don’t involve antihistamines?

2022.08.18 02:45 Forward-Map-2587 Reflux Struggles

We took my 9 week old baby boy to the ER Saturday night because he kept coughing in his sleep and gasping for air between coughs, which scared me quite a bit. The docs at the ER said sounds like reflux. He saw a pulmonologist yesterday who also said his symptoms sound consistent with reflux. He was prescribed Zantac but when I went to pick up I was informed his insurance doesn’t cover it and it’s quite expensive, so we’re waiting to hear back from the doc is there’s another option before we pay the high out of pocket cost (she was hesitant to prescribe it in the first place)
My question is, have any of you experienced the coughing/choking episodes with your reflux babies? What do you do to help them? I hold him upright for at least 30 mins after feedings, we’re doing shorter more frequent feedings, his bassinet is elevated on one side, and he spends most of his “play time” in a babybjorn bouncer that keeps him in a seated position.
even after taking all these measures he still goes into coughing fits when he’s asleep and at the end of it has a bunch of saliva bubbles coming out of his mouth.
When does it get better?! I’m exhausted and scared.

I recommend The Second Oldest Profession: A World History of Espionage:

https://i.imgur.com/eCWdvnq.png

The vastness and openness in which it works is no longer even covert.
https://i.imgur.com/OePt41a.png

In the past, we had Operation Mockingbird, where the program was supremely confident that it could control stories around the world, even in instructions to cover up any story about a possible “Yeti” sighting, should it turn out they were real.

If, in 1959, US Intelligence was this confident in its ability to control a story about a Yeti, then what is their level of confidence in controlling stories, today?

The marriage between mainstream media and government is a literal one and this arrangement is perfectly legal.

The FBI makes direct contact with media assets to instruct them, as with the case of the Russian Collusion narrative. This was revealed in an IG report that also further exposed James Comey’s storied career of corruption.

While these charts diffuse the responsibility, somewhat, this is a good illustration how faceless bodies control and direct messaging across all media.

Every day, thousands of new, fake personalities are added to the Internet to create fake consensus.

GPT 2 Chatbots are already realistic, enough, but the GPT3 chat bots are beginning to present as more intelligence than the average person. Soon, "experts" will be entirely artificial, if some of them aren't, already.

In this day and age, it is even easier to manage these concepts and push a controlled narrative from a central figure than it has ever been. Allen & Co is a “boutique investment firm” that managed the merger between Disney and Fox and operates as an overseeing force for nearly all media and Internet shill armies, while having it’s fingers in sports, social media, video games, health insurance, etc.

George Tenet

Former director of the CIA and Paul Brennan’s former superior George Tenet, holds the reigns of Allen & Co. The cast of characters involves a lot of the usual suspects.

Graham, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and Oprah Winfrey.
