My baby is 11 months old. He was born at 38 weeks. Starting at 1 week old he developed profuse watery mucous poop, reflux, bad diaper rash. He was breast fed. At that point I was quick to take dairy, eggs, and soy out of my diet. He got mostly better, and has been gaining weight fine. At about 3 months dairy krept into my diet and he developed blood in his poop (the mucous never actually cleared up) so we switch to a hypoallergenic formula (similac)…blood never cleared after about 2 weeks and symptoms worsened (reflux, rashes) so we went to an elemental formula….he did great. Mucous cleared up, rashes cleared up, and reflux improved.
Fast forward to now at 11 months. We purée his foods. Still on elemental formula. He eats but he’s not interested in eating. He gags on anything that isn’t pretty soft s/a raspberries, and bananas…and he still gags on those sometimes. He can eat about 12 foods that he doesn’t react to. Otherwise his reactions to foods can be vomiting, mucous poops, eczema, reflux. He reacts to dairy, egg, wheat, peas, shrimp, maybe chicken, beef and fish. He’s been on omeprazole since about 2 months old.
We have appts with peds GI and peds allergy pending. Someone please tell me you’ve seen this before in practice and the kid grew out of it. I’m so worried this might be eoe and/or eoc.

my LO is currently 3 weeks and is an overall pretty calm baby. only fusses when hungry or getting lotion put on lol. she’s very relaxed, sleeps in her bassinet at night until morning snuggles, and gives us 2.5-3 hours of sleep between wakes at night - HOWEVER all i’ve been reading about and seeing is the hell that weeks 6-8 brings 🥲 i sympathize with the parents who are going through the thick of it in those weeks, but i’m curious if anyone has had a positive experience throughout those weeks and if their baby’s sleep patterns didn’t change much? or are we all in solidarity doomed for this regression? (if that’s what it’s called)
anyways, just wondering if anyone’s baby kept their cool during those weeks cause i’m frightened LOL

I have rolled the credits and got all the eggs and just unlocked the office key
in the office I used a UV light to see a code with directional numbers and bunny ear positions, but I can't link the direction Numbers to the numbers above the ears. Any hints?
There is a bunny near the starting are on a high ledge protected by vines. I can't get up there, am I supposed to be able to? I notice his ears do patterns similar to the code above. I figure I'm meant to play a song, but I can't connect the dots. General hint here appreciated

THESE ARE ALL ALLEGATIONS I HAVE NO PROOF OTHER THAN WHAT I SAW AND THE PEOPLE WHO ATTENDED THE EVENT WITH ME
I made a post last night seeking advise for these sick animals in hopes I could contact the breeder and rescue these snakes. All of his social media pertaining to his business has been deleted, probably for some time now. I have no way of reaching out to rescue these animals, so I intend on posting these allegations in hopes of protecting others from doing business with him and of course raising awareness of maltreatment of these innocent snakes.
This is based in Washington state, at the Cascadia Reptile Expo from 5.18 - 5.19. The alleged sick hognoses are being sold by Evergreen State Reptiles owned by Shane Wooldridge.
As a recap this is what I saw to the best of my memory,
Multiple adult female hognoses marked at $300-$500 or so, one snow, one arctic, and I believe 2 normals along with multiple males.
He was selling many species of snakes and maybe lizards, but I was fixed on the hognoses. At a glance the other species of snakes and male hognoses looked to be in good condition, but that's all it was; a glance. As for the sick female hognoses, I did take 3 out of the deli cups with permission to handle and examine them.
The snow female had a lage scab on her face around the jaw area, and a pustle erupting from her head that looked like a massive pimple filled with whitish yellow puss. She was shaped like a pyramid, emaciated, spine poking out along her whole body and slim neck to emphasize the jaw bones. When I lifted her up where her umbilical cord had once been attached to her body, it was split open very obviously. It was healed over with exposed skin in the center.
The breeder claims he was told not to breed her due to the deformed umbilical scar, but did so anyways and she was fine. He also claimed she recently laid and was being fed small meals which is why she was emaciated, and if fed anything larger she would regurg. He claims her scab was an injury from the water dish. He said he'd give me a discount on her for the injuries and once she shed and eaten more she'd be fine. He also offered a discount for buying multiple.
The next female I examined I believe to be an arctic, she was also emaciated with her spine poking out along her whole body. Slim neck with jaw bones protruding. I don't recall the belly looking abnormal, but she had a bulbed tail. It felt hard at the bulb but it wasn't the biggest bulbed tail I'd ever seen. The breeder claimed she just needed to be fattened up and you wouldn't be able to notice it, he also claimed she had recently laid which was she was emaciated.
The last snake I examined was a normal, over all she had a nice plump figure and looked decent from the top. However, when I picked her up she had 2 belly scales lifted completely up while the others sat flat. These 2 scales were lifted at least a couple millimeters, filled with a pocket of yellow green puss that looked like it would explode at any moment. I have a horrible sense of smell, I cannot smell almost all of the time. This snake stunk, and she was sticky too. You could smell the infection before you got to the table, my friend with a sensitive sense of smell said the area reeked.
The breeder claims she was bred and could possibly be gravid and it was a loss for him but didn't want her. After I noticed the puss filled scales he asked to be handed the snake, he felt her and said he couldn't feel eggs. He then claimed the puss filled wounds were caused by a water dish, and he needs to sand them down. I wrangled her into the deli cup and told him I'd be back.
At no point did I comment on the wounds and state of these snakes, I simply examined them and the breeder freely made these claims to me without ever being asked. As well as acting as though he had never seen the pustle or infected belly scales.
After I left I asked another vendor to use their hand sanitizer and immediately went looking for a bathroom to wash my hands. I approached another vendor and told them what I saw and they were shocked and disgusted. They pointed out event staff to report what I saw to which I did immediately. I will be following up with them to see if they saw what I did or if the snakes were no longer on the table.
When I got home I put all my clothes in the wash and took a shower. I own 8 hognoses and glove between all of them, but I'm still going to be paranoid regardless.
I feel so horrible for those poor babies, and now I'm horrified for anyone who buys from this breeder or handled his animals and possibly cross contaminates. I'm no expert so there's small things I could've missed.
Again these are all allegations, I have no proof so please use your own judgment. Sorry for the long read but his is very wrong and needs to be known. No animal deserves to be treated like this.

So, I wasn't planning to adopt a pet today. But Stolxin was at Very Bloated and I wasn't in the mood to fork over the big bucks for a Bloat B Gone gamble just to get my "feed a pet" quest done. So I figured I'd adopt a pet from the pound, feed it, maybe get it a decent mid tier paintbrush before sending it ahead on its way...But then, like Danny Devito, the pound offered me an egg in these trying times!
Baby pets are a pain to customize. Pteris are a pain to customize (IMO). Baby Pteris are a HUGE pain to customize. So I think I'll eventually morph him into something I like better. But I'm at a loss for ideas! Regardless, to whatever generous soul put a properly capitalized 4L, Baby pet in the pound? You're a saint, and I am very grateful to have stumbled into such a prestigious pet!

How to be more feminine so I can be spoiled more?

It’s a lifestyle. You have to act, fake it until you make it, and create a lifestyle. The days that you don’t feel very feminine are the days that you have to use more of your masculine energy.

Remember to always have a space to come back to that is feminine, and recharge yourself with feminine energy. Create a more feminine environment, wear more feminine clothes, listen to music that is going to help your femininity instead of diminishing it.

Keep things that you like to do feminine and do feminine things. Going shopping, getting your nails or hair done, buying shoes, picking out décor for our rooms, decorating tables, going on picnics, watching girly movies.

Recharge yourself by doing some of those things. You need to be able to recharge your femininity at least once or twice a week.

Live the type of life you want already. It may not be on the scale that you want to live it at, but it needs to be a version of it. For example, if you want to live a soft, feminine life make sure your current life reflects that: your current environment, the current way you dress, the current way you walk, talk and act.

The more you receive, the better treatment you receive, if you can get a provider who can let you live a more feminine life, a softer life, then it's just going to get better and better.

But already live the life you want to live, that way they can only improve you and they see how you treat yourself and see what you like and that’s what they are going to be giving you. Your goals will be met just by dating.

Your stock should go up after you get married, not down. If your stock is not rising after marriage you’re doing it backwards. That means still investing into yourself, your beauty, your clothing, into your stash (money, wealth and investments). If you got married and your stock plummeted, that’s your fault.

Loving yourself means putting yourself first as a priority. Knowing your worth and value and not taking any crap from anybody because you value yourself, you love yourself. That’s all loving yourself means. And not talking down about yourself. And knowing that you deserve what you want in life.

Once you do that other people will as well – men, co- workers, your boss, parents, spouse, brother, sister, cousin, whoever. Whoever is in your life at the moment will recognise that you love yourself and that you don’t have to submit to them or that you’re not desperate for their approval. In fact they may start to be desperate for your approval. So make sure you’re putting yourself first.

Don’t be always talking about the other person and what they want or what they think. Don’t care who they are. Don’t care about other people or their spouse or the person they’re interested in. It’s not about them, it’s about you. If they can’t recognise you and they don’t like you, then you are wasting time.

If you have to sit there and be puzzled about why someone is not responding properly or why they’re not doing this or that, it means they don’t like you so just move on and stop trying to waste time worrying about it. You already know that in the back of your mind; you’re just hoping for a different outcome that there won’t be.

Make sure that when you realise you are putting other people before yourself as a priority then you’re not going to get the type of man or people attracted to you that you need. When you can get somebody in the click of a finger and they’re not used to that it means you are valuable and that they are not necessary. They are very unnecessary and therefore they feel like you have even more value because you don’t need them. You don’t need them, they need you. That’s why they seek you out. That’s why they call you, that’s why they ask you out.

Make sure you’re not getting caught up in silliness. If they’re not putting you first, you’re gone. Or you put them on ice; that means you let them figure it out and when they start acting right again then you allow them back into your life. If you’re chasing behind someone, if you’re worrying about someone who ghosts you then you’re not putting yourself first.

And that means you don’t love yourself. A lot of people were taught to act a certain way – not cocky etc – if you don’t, all people see you as is a doormat. You can let down your guards later when they are fully invested in you and aren’t going anywhere, but until that happens they are there to impress you.

Become happy with yourself:

Three years ago I was getting yelled at a public train station (which we had to take because neither of us had a car) by my dusty disgusting ex. I lived in a cheap apartment with four unsavory roomates and their boyfriends. Now I live in a luxury high rise with a conceirge and valet. All I did today was get a facial, sit by the pool and shop. I don’t have to worry about a SINGLE THING and every man in my life treats me like a queen. I’m truly breaking generational curses; my dad left my mom with four kids alone while she worked at Denny’s waitressing overnight. If it weren’t for Shera’s wisdom I don’t know where I would be today but I just give thanks every day that I saw the light. This is my one and only life so why shouldn’t I be living peacefully and bougie.

It’s crazy how fast life can chance when you realize your worth and act on it. Keep on inching further and further; the more luxurious things you do the more the rest of your life catches up. It literally started with me going to the expensive nail salon instead of the cheap one. Then I felt like I deserved more. I moved into a nicer apartment that was out of my budget at first, then a nicer car, then I started buying designer bags and now I live in an ultra-luxurious place. Small steps and the rest of your life will catch up in time. Of course look your best every day and be healthy. And do not give a second of your time to anyone who does not treat you with respect, remember if they’re not adding to your life they are taking away.

The universe somehow just opened up and rains abundance on me. The more you surround yourself with the vibrations of prosperity the more it will be drawn to you. Ella Ringrose on YouTube helped me a lot to draw in money.

Attention -> This guide is highly opinionated, if you're looking for a post from a perspective from a highly experienced dev then you should probably stop reading and check out other posts. I've been working full-time for over 2 years only but I've been a part of startups in different capacities for the past 4 years, either as an intern or a contractofreelancer. Resources might be outdated but still check them out and decide accordingly, but in my opinion you should read my post since, I fall under these buckets ->

NON CS and Tier 2/3/4.. College -> I had 50k+ rank in JEE and was only able to land Civil in a Tier 3 college due to home state quota, later got a circuit branch from branch upgrade.
Off Campus Placement -> I had already started freelancing since culture at a company is a very very crucial to me and I loved the freelancing lifestyle this I skipped on campus placements altogether. Also due to freelancing I was making more than what all the companies who were part of our placement drive were offering.
Got placed primarily due to my past experience and projects as opposed to my CP ranking -> I asked my HR why was I hired and she mentioned that it was my past experience + projects which caught their attention, of course I went through their standard selection rounds but they still preferred my profile over Tier 1 students with good coding platform ranks due to my past work experience.
Consistent earning -> While someone can dismiss my current job as a fluke I've a history of making good money($20K in 6 months from scratch) through freelancing with multiple clients and was able to translate that experience into a job at a startup as well. My PPO comp was 40 base and a very sizeable portion of equity of a very fast growing startup. If we were to do the cringy CTC calculation it was a 1 CR+ job offer.

What makes someone hire a candidate?

I've interviewed over 40+ people and 4 batches of interns. Working at a startup has allowed me to be very close with recruiting process and work with recruiter with over 10+ years in premier MNCs and startups and there's a lot that goes into hiring but I think it can be put into some buckets.
Hiring for interns/freshers -> We personally don't hire for freshers roles and instead all junior devs go through our intern process but this is where the most non traditional profiles can break in tech early. I've noticed that for senior roles a lot of emphasis is given to the the companies they've worked in and which team were they a part of. Working folks might be aware that for senior roles usually the hiring manager personally have a chat before adding the candidate in interview pipeline and based on our debriefs I've noticed that institute rarely comes up but rather their work at the teams that they've been a part of takes the highest priority. Now a argument can be made that being from a Tier 1 institute allows the ability to get a headstart but a lot of folks are able to breakthrough into big tech even after working at WITCH so entering into high paying startups isn't that big of deal for them as tech profiles converge the more experienced one get. For interns and freshers a solid development and a mix of coding platforms experience should get you a job in startups with a very high probability.
To put more emphasis in why profiles matters let's take a look at a couple of profiles that I'm personally aware of ->
My friend working at a High Growth Seed Round
Highlights of his profile ->

Very very low ranking Engineering College.
No prior intern at a big company instead mixture of work at small startups and his own ventures.
Didn't apply for a job at all since he was also happy as a freelancer but finally decided to work at a startup and got a job in flat 16 days.
Comp-> 16 lpa base + seed round equity.

The best part about this friend why how deep his profile was. He has always been passionate about computers since school time and had experience in cyber security, crypto, fullstack-development,etc. As you can guess the secret of how quickly he was able to get a job was how many past experiences he had. When he started finding jobs at wellfound.com he was able to get calls from a couple of startups and he had a offer within 20 days. Wellfound was a a suprisingly good place to find jobs at small startups since my friend was able to receive a lot of calls for interview rounds.
My batchmate working at a FAANG equivalent MNC ->

Same college as mine.
Prior intern at a MNC but overall mid projects and a couple of development profiles and hackathons under his belt.
Average codeforces profile but experience of solving a lot of questions hence able to breeze through leetcode rounds.
Got a on campus placement here so didn't apply anywhere.
Comp -> 20l base + ~60l in equity.

His profile is a mix of development and a lot of coding rounds but the curious case in his case was how a lot of candidates with similar profiles in coding platforms or even better were knocked out from the selection process in the system design round. His previous experience in development surely helped him here in comprehending system design case studies and hence he was able to ace this round whereas others with better coding profiles weren't able to do so.
My batchmate working at FAANG and now a high growth startup ->

Same college.
Prior intern at startups and deep experience in development since school which includes projects in full stack development, compilers and couple of hackathons.
Better than average codeforces profile and breezes through standard OA rounds due to lots of practise.
Comp -> 50+ CTC at FAANG earlier and 25l base at a startup now.

His profile is similar to the first profile but way more competitive coding experience as well. Similar deep experience in projects and very passionate about software engineering and computer science in general.
A common pattern amongst the profiles posted above and mine is development experience allowed us from low tier colleges to be able to get a job quickly. This matters a lot since you'll get calls for interview rounds doesn't matter how tough the market is though what will fluctuate is how much are these companies are offering.

All of your eggs in one basket

It's pretty easy to see how big the market for DSA and Algorithm is. Youtubers are popping left right and center, but is it worth investing all of your time in getting a great rating in Codeforces. First thing first let's make this very clear that standard interview questions are very different than competitive questions and while it is true that due to market saturation some companies have resorted to asking questions that you would see as part of codeforces rounds in their OA. This though isn't the norm and you can do fine if you're good enough for Leetcode rounds. My whole post can be described that we need to stand out from other profiles if we fall into buckets of Low ranking colleges , Non CSE branches, etc.

Resources

The following section is a collection of resources that I and my friends used during the placement process ->

Roadmaps -> Roadmaps, Roadmaps, Roadmaps. Youtube is filled with didi bhaiya trying to come up with the best roadmap that they can. Honestly speaking while there's nothing wrong with that I always prefer roadmaps which are open source and updated time to time by community or the author to stay relevant. Go to roadmap.sh and pick paths. Focus more on topics rather than content, find whatever resource you can to read up on topics rather than sticking to one youtube channel. Similarly for people who might not be from a CS background the Open Source Society University is a very popular roadmap to follow.
Resume -> I used the variations of the following template. Overleaf is a solid platform for creating resume in latex. Keep your resume simple and keep on iterating with what you should and shouldn't have. If you want you can always ask recruiters what they found nice in your resume and double down on expanding those sections.
Freelancing Platforms -> Personally for me Upwork worked very well, I was able to get the chance of working on a lot of high paying jobs but based on what I've heard from candidates and personally managing profiles for a couple of friends the platform seems to have shifted in terms of job quality a lot. I'm noticing a lot of low quality jobs, underpaid jobs which has made it highly unlikely for new candidates to break through here. I would personally not recommend Freelancer and Fiverr since they have low quality, low paying jobs as compared to Upwork. Also fiverr follows a marketplace model so hard for non experienced folks to get discovered.
1. If you're a experienced dev and have a solid profile and need a better platform as compared to Upwork checkout Toptal and A.team.
Job Platforms -> I personally had a great experience with Cutshort since it apart from applying on jobs as a candidates also has a strong emphasis on recruiters reaching out to candidates. Apart from that I've had a good experience with LinkedIn jobs purely in terms of response times. Atleast recruiters reached out quickly even though the quality of jobs wasn't great. As mentioned above wellfound.com is also a good resource for finding startup jobs. Apart from this cold mailing recruiters should be a part of your job hunting cycle. We used to go over startups which were recently funded and then messaging their client or staff for queries regarding openings.
Youtube channels -> I usually relied on the following channels during my prep and I what I usually watch as well.
1. Traversy Media -> Followed his tutorials the most.
2. Academind by Maximilian Schwarzmüller -> For learning full stack development I've mostly used his courses and honestly speaking they are amazing. I've also heard great things about her courses, Dr. Angela Yu.
3. Tech News and General Tech Videos -> Fireship.io, Ben Awad, Devon Crawford, ForrestKnight. They Ben and Devon aren't posting these days but they are the reason why I found tech to be super cool.
4. DSA and Algo Training -> Stick to no nonsense channels like TUF, Back To Back SWE, CS DOJO, Tushar Roy, NeetCode, Nick White, Priyansh Agarwal.
  1. Couple of websites which I liked a lot of practise includes USACO Guide, CP Algorithms, CSES.

This is my second baby/second postpartum, and I’m 5 days postpartum. I’m feeling a lot better than after my first, thankfully. I’m not anemic, and I just have less pains and I know what it’s like to have a newborn, so that helps. My husband is helping a lot with our daughter at the moment.
I don’t like feeling useless around the house, since you’re not supposed to do chores for 2 weeks. I’m really feeling it this time since my husband has to help with our 2 year old a lot, and do stuff around the house. Luckily a good friend of mine is watching our 2 year old on weekday mornings, but that means weekends are going to be more challenging. I’m doing the vast majority of newborn care, almost all of it at night, since that just makes the most sense as I’m EBFing our baby, and on weekday mornings my husband brings our daughter to my friend’s house, and she lives 20 minutes away, so I want him to be as rested as possible overnight since I can always sleep in.
Baby is sleeping in a separate room with him though, since I’m ridiculously sensitive to any baby noise, he just has to make one little grunt to wake me up from a deep sleep (and I wear earplugs), so he’s still not getting full rest at night.
I am sitting here writing this while both little ones are napping, and my husband is napping. Our daughter is extra whiny with my husband, and she’s very attached to him, and so he has a hard time doing chores with her, and he’s going out with her when he can to keep her happy and stimulated. Now that he’s on paternity leave for a while, he’s focusing on figuring out how to lesson her whininess with him. There were some parenting things he had to work on. So the house is a total mess right now, but I can’t clean it up as I’m honoring the 2 week rest period.
At least we got food pretty much covered, I did a lot of meal prepping. My husband doesn’t cook at all, other than making simple eggs or something like that (or heating up leftovers of course). We should have most of the food options I prepped for a good month, and I will definitely start cooking occasionally when I can at two weeks postpartum. I enjoy cooking, and I am definitely missing it right now.
I can’t wait until I can be more productive again and get into a rhythm with our two kids. I know I am having a far easier time postpartum than others so I don’t mean to make it sound like woe is me this is horrible, I just wanted to vent to others that are also newly postpartum. At least this part of postpartum is very temporary. It just feels so long right now.

I’m playing through Yellow right now using Red’s canon team and I want to do the same with Crystal with Gold. The issue is you never fight Gold so his canon team is debatable. However, I’ve managed to pin down what his canon team PROBABLY is, through mechanics introduced in Gen 2 like eggs and the new types, static encounters and gift mons. So far I’ve decided on Typhlosion (obviously), Togetic (again, obviously), Sudowoodo, Umbreon, and then Shiny Gyarados/Politoad (Politoad is on his team in the manga and it’s a johto mon that utilizes a new evolution mechanic, im going to be using Gyarados though) I don’t know who to use for the final party member, though. I’ve come to a few possibilities. Sunflora, it’s a johto mon, Gold uses it in the manga and it completes the main elemental trio. Ampharos, since it’s a very popular johto mon and gives Gold an electric type. Hitmontop, since it’s a gift mon as a Tyrouge and Tyrouge is a baby Pokémon, a new mechanic. The dragons den Dragonite, since it’s a gift Pokémon and it has an egg move, once again a new mechanic. Or lastly, Scizor. You catch it in the big contests (new mechanic), evolve it in a new method (trade while holding item), he has it in some official art and it gives him the other new type added in the generation. I can’t decide between these 5. If anyone can help me decide or has a better choice let me know!

Excuse the shakiness, it’s hard to record and feed such a small babi.
I got her (🤞) when she was half a mm. I’ve had to prekill all food and leave it in her enclosure. This was the first time I’ve seen her outside of her den and she took the fruit fly like a champ. She’s my smallest T (and will probably stay that way 🥴), I’m so happy seeing her little heart for the first time (she didn’t have her patterns until this point.)
I’m geeking out about the wee babi.
