2024.05.31 20:22 blackgirltravels 30 [F4M] Virginia — Where are my fellow finance warriors?
It’s EOM & iykyk 😅 but lemme not complain too much because June is lurking 🥲
You don’t have to work in finance to chat with me though, just makes it easier to whine through your the day 😂
I’m not gonna list outrageous requirements to chat with me. As long as you’re funny & can take a joke!
A little about me:
-Love me some true crime. I have one YouTuber that I really really like. It’s so hard to find a good podcast/video series I swear.
-I like being outside. I’m cooped up in my home office or work office 5 days a week, so I stan for some vitamin D ☀️😂
-Doing a career pivot into tech, hopefully sometime next year, once I’m done with this full stack dev program. If anyone is in the field I’d greatly appreciate any & all tips/pointers/advice.
I really don’t wanna list too much here, I’d like our conversations to flow organically.
I suppose I have one requirement: please don’t be older than 50. & ideally someone in my time zone would be great. Plus or minus a couple hours is fine :)

2024.05.28 17:28 Motionez Monthly festival discussion JUNE
Hello there! Another month, another festival discussion. Here to inform you on some of best there is in June. Am I missing something? Share it in the comments!
The battle for Pentecost is over. Awakenings Upclose, Lentekabinet, De Zon, Komm Schönn Alter and more. Where did you go and how was it? I went to Awakenings Upclose and Kraft und Licht festival. Wildly different, but both great experiences. Musically Awakenings Upclose (only Saturday for me) was outstanding with mesmerizing sets by Polar Inertia, Jeans, Yanamaste, Norbak x Quelza and Spekki Webu. Read mostly positive reviews on
here as well. Der Hintergarten’s summer opening turned out to be a very social affair for me, lovely vibes all around with a lot of known faces. CEM hadme dancing my ass off front row for the last hour. Had to cancel my trip to Horst but only heard
very positive feedback so will give it another try next year.
What’s next?
JUNE – the festivals_all_over_the_netherlands edition Where May was mostly an Amsterdam based affair, June takes you all over our country with 7 (!) different cities hosting a festival mentioned in this discussion. Out of the seven highlighted, only one is actually located in Amsterdam. Good thing we are lucky with so many amazing clubs, so if you are afraid to travel beyond the ring to satisfy your knaldrang you’ll be finding plenty of opportunities in 020.
Let me preface that in this case I haven’t been to most festivals in this list (yet) so cannot account for the crowd and vibe. If you want to chime in, please do!
909 festival (Amsterdam) Saturday & Sunday 1st and 2nd of June – Saturday sold out, Sunday NOT sold out (42 €) Two days of techno in Amsterdam’s greatest park, Amsterdamse Bos. 909 brings a minimalistic festival and stage design and a (very) mature crowd, which shows in the lineup with a lot of oldskool legends. Fortunately also some younger talent to attract some new visitors. On Saturday
Chlär, D.Dan, Lobster, Beste Hira and more are playing alongside oldies Adam Beyer, Bart Skills, Octave One and Speedy J. Sunday musically offers a more diverse lineup with
Mathew Jonson live, Jennifer Cardini, Maceo Plex and Elias Mazian playing besides Liebing b2b Slater, Dettmann b2b Klock and Rødhåd (unfortunately isn’t closing
u/MrPotatooo ☹ if only you could see him play somewhere soon)
The Crave (The Hague) Saturday 1st of June – sold out (67€) Probably the most exciting electronic festival of the Westcoast for June. Quality artists across five stages, mesmerizing light installations, forest into crosswalks into simple but effective stage designs. Don’t be late, some festival openers are worth the visit themselves: Spekki Webu, Agy3na,
Lobster are all opening stages. Interesting choice by Daria Kolosova for her stage: VEL >
Kettama > Francois X > SPDFJ & Kolosova. Techno meets poppy high bpm edits. Good luck choosing a where you end your day with Hector Oaks, Mall Grab, SPFDJ/Kolosova, Jeans and Fafi Abdel Nour all getting the honor to close a stage, can’t go wrong.
TikTok Techno rivals Free Your Mind & Verknipt Festival Two of hardtechno’s biggest torch bearers are hosting two festival weekends. Saturday’s FYM festival seems, similarly to 909, be focusing on some older artists and perhaps crowd. Chris Liebing, Joris Voorn, Jamie Jones, Len Faki, Maceo Plex, Loco Dice and Richie Hawtin. What is this, Ibiza in 2015? Sunday its all out on the harder styles with 6EJOU, 9x9, Dyen, Fatima Haji, I Hate Models, Kobosil, Paul Kalkbrenner (not hard I know), Reinier Zonneveld, Shlomo, TRYM and much more.
PLEASE if someone knows how much their total programming costs tell me, this looks like one of the most expensive weekends bookingwise I’ve ever seen for electronic music in NL.
Verknipt: I don’t know many artists in this genre so I’ll just sum up the once I do know by name to give an impression. Saturday: Funk Tribu, Dion, Shlomo, Stan Christ, AnD b2b Don Woezik. Sunday: Anxhela, Alignment, 6EJOU, Oguz, Sara Landry, Raxeller, Ketting. As expected, a very young crowd, quite simple stage design and a bit of an unpractical layout of the venue.
Plenty of hardtechno sets to choose from Free Your Mind Festival (Arnhem) Saturday & Sunday 1st and 2nd of June – Saturday sold out, Sunday available for € 54
Verknipt Festivalv (Utrecht) Saturday & Sunday 8th and 9th of June – Saturday sold out, Sunday available for € 80
Ohm Festival (Delft) Saturday 8th of June – NOT sold out (50€) Ohm is Zeezout’s spiritual sibling in Delft. Expect a younger, student crowd which the lineup is perfectly curated for. Your hip bouncy and trancy stage with Benwal, Bad Boombox and more, a(nother) TikTok techno stage with Cynthia Spiering, CLTX and others. Heavy hitters Carista & Skin On Skin are there as well. Oh and a stage with
Lola Edo,
DJ Europarking and then
Floid (live) closing? Not sure how that works out but all three are talented within their own genre.
Lago Lago (near Doetinchem) Friday 28th – Sunday 30th of June (weekender sold out, Sunday ticket available for 70€) “A multi day festival holiday” is perfect advertisement for Lago Lago. Love to party a few days in a row, but enjoy some of the more luxurious amenities? Or simply on the boomer side of life and can’t handle a rough-in-the-mud 4-day festival experience? At Lago Lago you can sleep in bungalows, dine at restaurants, go to a bowling alley and even go to the spa. All this next to a serene lake and a killer programming (for those that are OK without techno on the lineup)? I haven’t been myself but have heard great things from friends. And as the organization is also behind Georgie’s Wundergarten, I am convinced they know how to work their magic with the festival site.
Personally I am a big sucker for all things Giegling, so seeing
Dustin, Map.ache, Leafar Legov and Konstantin spread out on the line-up is a big appeal, iykyk. Other artists worth checking out: Roi Perez (last year ADE’s musical highlight for me on the Sunday of DS at Het Muzieklokaal), DJ Seinfeld,
Trouw legends Olaf Boswijk & Elias Mazian,
trance queen Courtesyv, daytime happiness with
Kamma & Masalo into David Vunk B2b Dj Sweet6teen, visual installation by Boris Acket and a lot of live acts that I’ve never heard about.
Drift (Nijmegen) Saturday 8th of June – NOT sold out (49€) Another great festival outside of the Randstad. Progressive sounds, unique stage designs and A/V installations (according to their website, haven’t been myself). FreddyK,
Nijmegen resident Tripeo, Vladimir Dubyshkin, ROD and Lady Starlight will bring their signature sounds. Other high BPM styles will be brought to you by Eva Vrijdag, Julian Muller and Sensation White-like trance band SUPERSTRINGS. And then there is
Sochi Terada’s live act, Hunee and Fafi Abdel Nour to elevate you to high levels of happiness.
Beyond our borders I am going to use a metaphor to tell you something about these festivals. Michelin is a tire company that started an award system for the best restaurants in the world ranging from one to three stars. They used to have a simple explanation on the differentiation of the award system. One star: A very good restaurant in its category and worth the visit if you’re in town. Two stars: Excellent cooking, worth a detour on your way to a different destination. Three stars: Exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey of itself. The two festivals below are a very special journey and if you haven’t made any holiday/festival plans yet these are worth considering.
Fusion Festival – Northeastern Germany Wednesday 26th- Sunday 30th of June sold out (220€) Berlin’s (club) culture embodied into a gigantic festival. Free spirited, slightly anarchistic/political in vibes, edgy, alternative and absolutely overwhelming. If you don’t like parties that are too big, don’t go here. I went to Fusion in 2016 and there were more than 15 stages back then I believe, absolutely ridiculous. But man, was it a magnificent experience. The no-security-guards/’open’ medicine usage policy was something I hadn’t seen before. The stage design was very diverse and in some cases phenomenal. Seeing the dragons on the Turmbuhne stage spitting fire for the first time was magical. The crowd is alternative and all over the places, but energetic, enthusiastic and devoted to what Fusion stands for. Even the (all veggie) food was fantastic, freshly made pizza slides for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No line-up announcement yet, but expect a wide spectrum of electronic and alternative music. The festival rewards those who just wander around!
No artists announced yet, no aftermovies available. After a quick search
this old video showcases the diversity in sound, stages, people and art at least for a little bit.
The festival always works with a raffle, similar to Wildeburg, and it is sold out. Only through their own website you can obtain a ticket by using their reselling system. GL ! Waking Life Festival – Crato, Portugal Wednesday 19th to Monday 14th of June NOT sold out (250€) A community driven, creative and experimentative midsummer festival located at a lake in inlands Portugal. I haven’t looked forward to a festival this much since forever. The festival brings a free spirited people, an intimate location and musically a beautiful experience. Personally really excited to go to one of the ‘homes’ of Giegling, who are hosting a stage all week long. If I am already excited with what they do for a first time experience with a location like Noordwaards, then I can’t imagine the height’s of quality they’ll bring here.
Map.ache and Leafar Legov’s live sets are always must-sees for me. But there is a LOT more to discover. I will 100% be checking out Dasha Rush,
Garçon (heard great things after the last edition of Ratherlost), Gigi FM,
Marco Shuttle and Mama Snake (<3) on the techno side of things. And I will finally see an artist that has eluded me for far too long, Pano legend Cormac. I’ve listened to this
Cormac essential mix at least 20 times, especially the first hour is pure ecstasy. Upsammy, Livwutang, Mad Miran, Djrum, Ben Ufo and more will be bringing you non-traditional rhythms. Curious if
Kamaal Williams will appear on the timetable… And so much more to discover that I’ve never heard about. Also excited about their no video policy, should create an intimate and freeing setting.
--- That’s it for June! If I’ve missed out on a festival let me know in the comments. And in general curious to know what everyone’s plans are !

BINI’s brand is a gem, the management should do something about it.
- Branding - salamat at may Ica Villanueva ang BINI kasi kahit papaano as a group and individually may branding yung girls visually.
Suggestion: Per era/album/EP/single, there should be a cohesive branding with it.
They knew that the KUMU contract was ending, they should’ve have something to replace that. Kahit unti unti hanggang ma-wean off yung fans. Sobrang abrupt eh. The “vlogs” or “reel life” na pinopost nila sa official account is not giving. Give Sheena the lead. Pasalamat talaga kapag may individual vlogs yung girls tulad nina Jhoanna at Sheena.
Ganon. They really need to up their game lalo’t breaking the barrier na ang BINI to international stage.
A tripod and a proper mic could really make a difference for them. Kung gusto nila i keep up yung may vertical video for other social media, pwede naman.
Mukhang everyone in their team has their plates full.
But they really need their own dedicated team. As in nakafocus lang sa BINI.
Kung multimedia for a group this big, they need a multimedia TEAM. With BINI’s trajectory they need to have a team na talaga na kayang gumawa ng archive/library for them.
Favorite kong nakuha nung UP Fair yung 1000 na Maloi. Sana yun nalang supplier nila. They should utilize merchandise kasi kahit mahal na fanmade merch pinapatulan ng fans.
Suggestion: team up with BINI fanmerch instead or any Blooms na kaya buhatin yung merchandise ideas nila. Alam naman na’tin na PLUSX is their partner but the design and quality is not giving. Find better suppliers please. Nakakaloka yung bagong batch ng Feel Good album, hindi man lang naka round yung edges. Tapos ang bilis magfade.
- Fans - the management should really recognize the power that the fans hold. Suntok sa buwan ‘to but the Bloom community is swarmed with people na kayang magcontribute. Napakadali maghandpick don. At the same time isa si Team Bloom PH sa sobrang galing mag manage ng fandom at events. Sobrang organized. Learn from them, management.
Suggestion: Listen to the fandom. Buksan niyo yung pinto sakanila. Hindi naman ibig sabihin nun magiging sunod sunuran kayo sakanila pero a good communication and back and forth with them will do the job.
Lastly, They really need a new single now. Before or after the concert. Malapit nang mag-max out yung peak. It’s been almost four months na since release ng ‘Talaarawan’ at ‘Salamin, Salamin’. Kahit gawin niyong filler yung AHCC since nagdebut na yung choreo. Kahit PV lang na parang sa Pantropiko. PLEASE.
STAN BINI!

2024.05.24 11:36 GimmeThatWheat424 This might be the only group mad g.k.m.c made the list….
It’s comical at this point, it was almost shocking tbh I have not heard this take during the rankings at all. Even the TPAB Stan’s would not say what they said about gkmc’s placement lol this podcast should be ovo branded.
Side note, mbdtf should have been higher but yeezus not being top 10, let alone not making the list at all was much more egregious a snub.

2024.05.23 21:17 Patapthat Is she for real?
Listen I used to be the BIGGEST Kristin johns stan like truly in college I LOVED her makeup content and fashion videos and felt like she truly was amazing at editing and putting together very interesting / inspiring vlogs.
And then….. idk really what happened but trying to be a fan of hers is painful. She seems very entitled and LITERALLY does the bare minimum in terms of content. I don’t know how the hell people still follow her. Something that really rubbed me the wrong way was I was following her for literally 8 years and NOT ONCE did she ever respond to a single message or response to her story. She does not engage with messages because she does not give a shit. On the other hand, way bigger influencers who have way more followers have always responded and I really appreciate that considering they wouldn’t have this lifestyle without their followers support.
Kristin just seems so out of touch. I can’t listen to the podcast because there’s truly no point (which would be a better name choice.) and what is up with John? Don’t know much about him but the vibe I get is he is her gay bff?
Idk she just really rubs me the wrong way now. And it gives me the major ick that she exposes her kids so much online. At least her sis in law lexy doesn’t do that. Like have some privacy for your kids.
I think she got really lucky and only grew a following because of Marcus’s fame and I have a feeling she’ll fall off the map eventually bc truly what are people getting out of following her at this point? Pictures of her latte art and random cat photos?
The freaking iPhone game app sponsorship girl what on earth

No SSM (So Spake Martin) desta semana, duas participações de George no podcast Marvel's Declassified.

2024.05.17 15:51 JohnTheLeader The Funeral (Diss on Tank) feat Gnat and Danny
Danny's verse: What's good what's good. Dear Mr I'm too good to write the stans. This is the last package we will ever send your ass. It's your eulogy, stupid geek. Hope you like it. Took me 3 beers and a jelly sandwich to write it. Back on the track 3 days later. You honestly don't even deserve it. Ofc, you got our last diss cause bitch it was perfect. Deleted it out of respect. But now we got to come through with the kill, then we will shoot ya. Here is the double tap to this fucking brat and the rest of the Hangar Pact, time to cut the track like a lumberjack. Can't believe you need Free to chuck a jab. Using corrupt Police Bars just to talk smack. What the fuck is up with that. Only places your punchlines land is a fucking punching bag. Cut the act. I bet this barrel will fit where your apparel will fit. More street cred than Avatar? Dude im barely convinced. Both of you used the same parachute cords when your time took a plunge. Fire shots at the entire block. Zareem how could I be afraid of death when I die alot. I heard Repi disowned you. Bitch I might adopt. Pop up buying shots. Left your tabs open, Firefox. And how this bitch is tweeting from inside a box. Did you fall out boy and now you tryna rock? Nice tat, no go binge on a giant fucking cock. You got Hangar Pact support, and I don't. Hey, you can sign whatever you want but I won't.
Gnat: You know what rhymes with Tank? Garbage bin. What else? Hangar Pact member with the largest tits! Such a sour old bitch, delirious, serious. You faker than Howard Stern's wig. You can barely hang, bout to drop like Artie Lange. Should have retired the day the fucking garbage truck came. And you can depart a plane, into the motherfucking ocean, so we never have to hear your stupid fucking brain start again. Mia you clearly a hoe, how you been 15 for 3 years in a row. Go on Free's podcast and call your mom a bitch and now your calling hits. And people have the nerve to ask why im an atheist? Shit it's a conspiracy bro, earth is flat not a sphere or a globe. Em is a clone. Kyle Jenner is the richest women in the world for a career of her own. Shit I guess the world is full of idiots, no wonder I gave up giving a shit. I'm like Steve Jobs to this PC Culture. So, like Bruce Jenner's dick time to get rid of it. Oops can't go that hard on y'all. Free is way too predictable. Time to cut him into more parts than the Gina interview. By the way, why you tryna make him sway. Spencer retracts calling someone who considers themself gay? Damn did y'all forget what rapping is. Fall on your head and forget who John is? Donald Trump is grabbing tits; Church is jacking kids. But your mad at this? Well guess what. Mia is still a fucking bitch.
John: Hey little troll, put the gun down. Everybody blood now. I got the munchies, your just lunch meat. I'm bringing such heat you best bring sunscreen. Yeah, I drove off the bridge right into crystal lake, with Jack in the trunk covered in some tape. Call me stan? Fuck him. I'm rambunctious. Came back with an appetite for, some clout chasing. An amp to fight more. Take a bite, so damn delightful. Got a problem? Stans behind me. Red, purple, yellow pills. Enter the matrix, Agents field. You all act alike its sick. Even look alike. Emo pricks. Bunch of fake bitches. At least im in the conversation for the fucking greatest. You don't know, you don't know, you don't know me. You can hate all you like, do what you might, but I will never lose sleep. Nope!

Can't wait for all the dan stans and Pablo stans to show up and just say to skip it. Make more excuses why they need to fill the end of hour 1 on a Thursday during the NBA and NHL playoffs with a segment from a podcast that fucking sucks.
Shit is beyond ridiculous at this point. Part of me wonders why I keep listening week to week and expecting anything different. Less main show and more trash no one asked for.

2024.05.14 17:08 dan_m_6 No progress seen in 3 months
Unless the new person maintaining Jim's podcast has quit, there has been no progress in 3 months. This is in contrast with the 20% written in 39 days between 12/10/23 and 1/28/24. I have heard that the one con he went to and a few podcasts has taken a lot of time. But, a good friend of mine is in his 6th season of podcasts on leadership for NASDAQ with well known guests (e.g. bring people like Gen Stan McChrystal and Alex Honnald of Free Solo fame together to discuss risk assessment) and it only takes him a few hours/week. So, the difference is due to something else. It is so stark, it's fair to say he's hit a wall.
3 months with nothing written is a significant length of time. Until we see the progress bar move, there is no good way to estimate when the book will be published, just that it will not be this year.

2024.05.14 15:00 Honestly_ Not just EA Sports: *All* NCAA college football game covers & athletes, including Sony's NCAA GameBreaker, Sega Sports, and a few others
With the
EA Sports College Football 25 cover being released this Thursday, I thought it would be interesting to look back at all covers — and not just the EA covers, but the athletes featured on covers of rival games by Sony, Sega, and other competitors.
Competition is a good thing. Putting these in chronological order takes me back to the era where there were options (I bought my first game in the '90s, and played a lot of 2k2).
If you count the 2 players that are identifiable off of "College Football USA 96" there have been 36 cover athletes across 34 editions of college football games (plus an active coach, mascot, two band members, and an unidentified player)
This post is going to look cleaner in "old" view. You can swap the "www" with "old" in the URL or just

- Exient Entertainment (2003: N-Gage)
Sega Sports's developers:

Aspyr Media's developer:
- Nerjyzed Entertainment (2007: Windows; 2009: 360)
Further notes:
Bill Walsh was picked because there was an early-theme of having big names on sports video games.
- EA actually started this back when they were the cool, bad boy of games in the 1980s (I'm that old, they packaged their games like records and put photos of their programmers that made them look like musicians on the back) with the pioneering PC game One on One: Dr. J vs. Larry Bird (1983), later updated to Jordan vs. Bird: One on One (1988).
- Nintendo got into it by localizing Punch-Out! as Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (1987) for NES. EA brought out John Madden Football (1988) for PC.
- Sega was wild about this when they launched the Genesis with Arnold Palmer Tournament Golf (1989), Tommy Lasorda Baseball (1989), Pat Riley Basketball (1990), Joe Montana Football (1991).
- 1993: Bill Walsh! There even was an EA Coach K college hoops game.
Bill Walsh may have got the cover curse:
- While he had retired from the San Francisco 49ers on top, after winning his 3rd Super Bowl, he had only returned to the Farm for a year when he was picked (he had a good first tenure in the 70s before jumping to the 49ers).
- In 1992 he took the Cardinal to a Blockbuster Bowl win and a #9 rank. Signed this deal for EA.
- After the first game came out he had two bad seasons and re-retired for good.
The progression of teams is fun to see.
- 1993: the top 24 college football teams from 1992 + 24 of the all-time greatest teams since 1978. The teams were unlicensed so they used city and state names, especially where similar to their real names (e.g. Michigan). But you got some fun results like a spirited game of "South Bend, IN" vs "Raleigh, NC"
- 1994: 36 Division I-A teams, but the bowls were still not included: Instead we get Maple Bowl, Palm Bowl, Pecan Bowl, and Redwood Bowl
- 1995: first version to feature all (108 at the time) Division l-A teams, the real bowl games like Orange, Sugar, Fiesta, and Rose. Includes older names but also the Pacific Tigers, which actually dropped football before the game was released.
The rights to the title "NCAA" license wasn't obtained by EA until 1998 (as you can see there was an earlier one-off by Mindscape). Its ability to use the NCAA's brands in the the football game was actually the secondary result of a licensing deal intended primarily for an EA "March Madness" basketball game.
Edit: I created this post after I had fun prepping for an episode on this topic for a podcast, if you like this stuff then this episode might be down your alley.

2024.05.13 06:36 gingereno Just started playing, here's what's happened so far...
This game was my backup game; the "someone cancelled last minute so we can't play D&D, let's just make something up and roll dice" game. Now it's become one of our favs.
I'm just sharing this in case anyone likes reading this kind of stuff.
Firstly, I ran a game akin to the bonus content in The Adventure Zone podcast, so if you've heard that your familiar. But in our other games we've decided that every game we play is just one story in a shared universe. Like an anthology kind of thing. The best part is, as a very jokey group, we established that a lot of our jokes also become canon.
So far, we've established that society created the church of Katy Perry when she defeated the evil witch, Taylor Swift. There's a whole fake religion that came out of that bit. This became canon from a joke someone made while roaming the deserts of Mars.
A beloved sport, "Disc Stick" (hockey) had they're cherished trophy (Stan's Chalice) stolen by miscreant Taylor Swift worshippers. Also para-chronological and "semi-planes" exist, but we haven't really figured out how yet. It just happened when someone touched the trophy Chalice, they entered into a parallel realm while at the same time in normal reality.
Can't wait to see what the next session brings. I almost look forward to nights when a player can't make it now.

2024.05.12 01:44 Your_Therapist_Says Can someone ELI5 home internet for renters?
I guess the fact that I'm asking a tech question instead of answering one means I've officially become old. With that out of the way, can someone please explain what my options for home internet are, in the simplest terms possible?
About my situation:
- I'm a renter, the place I'm in is up for sale so it's likely I'll have to move in the next few months. According to real estate websites the property can get NBN, but, I'm not interested in doing the LL or the RA any favours by installing anything I can't take with me.
- having said that, using my phone for internet like I have been for the past year just isn't cutting it anymore, so I'm realistic about needing to be open to something else. Is there a reason those "pocket WiFi" / portable modems aren't as popular as they used to be when they first came out? What are the downsides to doing one of those?
- I wouldn't say I have heavy data use, even though I use the internet frequently. I'm not a gamer, I don't have any streaming services like Netflix or Stan. I take 1-2hrs of zoom video calls per week for work, and the rest of my internet usage is just reddit and a pretty impressive podcast addiction.
- because I'll likely have increased rent when I move, and because optus is already fucking me with the phone bill, I'd prefer if the internet was <$80/month, if possible.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with my complete n00b question 🙏

2024.05.09 07:34 chaotic_lurker [TOMT] [Meme] [Stan Twitter (?) circa 2022] Possibly edited image of Joe Rogan looking down at a phone with his eyes bulging out
The meme was of joe rogan in his normal podcast setup, sitting down and looking at a phone. His eyes were bulging out and it was a fairly common reaction meme I saw on twitter during COVID.
I usually saw it captioned with people mocking the OP or what they were talking about with the kind of language that's common on gay/stan twitter though i'm not sure if it originates from there. Think stuff like "oh girl thats not..." or "NOW WHY DID HE THINK IT WAS OK TO POST THIS". It wasn't very obviously edited from what I remember, since there's a lot of pictures of joe rogan with his eyes really bulging out, though its totally possible someone exaggerated it for effect.
