[Very Long] Marathon, Angela, and Eragon Connections. Fractalverse and Murtagh Spoilers

2024.05.15 08:10 eagle2120 [Very Long] Marathon, Angela, and Eragon Connections. Fractalverse and Murtagh Spoilers

I've been meaning to make this post for a while but life kept getting in the way.
There is a bunch of new (well, new to me) stuff I've discovered over the last few weeks, and wanted to share my thoughts with you.
Let's start with the "prequel" (although never canonically confirmed) to the Marathon series was a game called Pathways to Darkness. The backstory for this game is:
Sixty-four million years ago, a large extra-terrestrial object struck the Earth in what would later be called the Yucatan Peninsula, in south eastern Mexico. The dust and rock thrown up by the resulting explosion caused enormous climactic changes in the ensuing years, and many of the Earth's species became extinct during the long winter that followed.
The object itself was buried thousands of feet below ground, its nearly two kilometer length remarkably intact. It remained there, motionless, for thousands of years before it finally began to stir-- and to dream.
Hmm. Buried below ground. Finally beginning to stir and dream. Who does that sound like?
Let's keep going.
The heat of impact liquefied the rock around it, which later cooled and encased the dead god's huge body far below ground. As it began to dream, it wrought unintentional changes in its environment. Locked deep beneath the Earth, strange and unbelievable things faded in and out of reality. Vast caverns and landscapes bubbled to life within the rock, populated by horrible manifestations of the dead god's dream.
As it began to dream, it wrought unintentional changes in its environment.. Locked deep beneath the Earth, strange and unbelievable things faded in and out of reality.
Like Fingerrats? Or like Spider-wolves?
Vast caverns and landscapes bubbled to life within the rock, populated by horrible manifestations of the dead god's dream.
Caverns and landscapes. I want to expand this point here for a bit because it's also mirrored across Alagaesia.
Let's start with Helgrind.
For any FV enjoyers, I've previously speculated that Helgrind is a reliquary, or a previously living being that was transformed (a la Ctein).
But the curious thing here is the timeline of Helgrind and it's tunnel system, taken with the above context.
Q: Assuming it wasn't built by the Ra'zac themselves, was the lair inside Helgrind purpose-built for the Ra'zac and Lethrblaka, or did they appropriate it some time after it was built? If it wasn't built for them, what was its original purpose?
A: Partially natural formations (linked to tunnels elsewhere in Alagaësia), partly expanded by the priests of Helgrind and Galbatorix himself.
But... The Ra'Zac didn't inhabit Helgrind until at least after the Humans came over. So these tunnels underneath Helgrind existed before the Ra'Zac, or Galbatorix ever set foot on Alagaesia. Which, I don't know about you, but a massive network of tunnels does not smell entirely natural to me.
So.. where else are there "natural" formations that link to other tunnels elsewhere in Alagaesia?
We've seen these "natural" formations in Vroengard:
Q: The deeps under Vroengard, were they created by the riders or was it a previous system of caverns that they repurposed?
A: Previous system. I mean, there's been work done on them, but... 'It looks similar, parts of it feel similar to the caverns that we encountered in this book. They both have that hole in the cave which goes deeper, with something in the hole that's not clearly defined.' Yeah.
And we've seen similar depictions in the Beors, and Nal Gorgoth. So from the Beors to Vroengard, "natural" tunnels exist underground. I don't buy that they are entirely natural.
Given the context of the Marathon game above:
Vast caverns and landscapes bubbled to life within the rock, populated by horrible manifestations of the dead god's dream.
I think these tunnels came from Azlagur.
Let's switch gears here, I want to talk about another archaeological mystery in the world of Eragon - El-Harim.
I believe El-Harim was heavily influenced by the (not canon confirmed, but implied) prequel to the Marathon games, the Pathways into Darkness
Pathways casts the player as a member of a US Army Special Forces team sent on a mission to the Yucatán Peninsula. On May 5, 1994, a diplomat from the alien race known as the Jjaro appeared to the President of the United States and informed him that on May 13, an ancient godlike being sleeping beneath a pyramid would awaken and destroy the Earth. The only way to prevent this catastrophe is to prevent the god from awakening. The eight-man Special Forces team carries a nuclear weapon, with the goal of entering the ancient pyramid, descending to the bottom level where the god sleeps, and activating the bomb to stun the god and bury it under tons of rock.
Getting into a bit more of the backstory:
Only during the last few centuries has the god begun to effect changes on the surface of the Earth. Grotesque creatures have been sighted deep in the trackless forest of the Yucatan, and strange rumors of an ancient pyramid-- which is neither Aztec nor Mayan-- in the same area have been circulating in the archaeological community since the early 1930's.
Pyramid, eh? There are two different options here I can think of that equate.
The extended FWW Map
First, in the extended map from FWW, we can see a Pyramid-esque shape - Different color, different slope, etc.
Or, second (and probably more likely), it could be El-Harim:
It is a very bad place. It’s a place where some bad things happened at one point and it’s not a good place to go walking around. I don’t want to get into it too much more because again, it’s a good possibility for another story and I want to keep thinking about it a bit more. It is in Alagaesia and we’ve actually been close to the location.
Many speculate that the below vision from Eragon in Brisingr, which was never explained in the main cycle, is of El-Harim:
And he rested, and visions beset him of a circular stone city that stood in the center of an endless plain and of a small girl who wandered among the narrow, winding alleys within and who sang a haunting melody (A Feast with Friends, Brisingr).
If this vision IS El-Harim , it's super significant because of these two descriptors:
circular stone city
narrow, winding alleys
Fractals. The city itself is a fractal, like Nidus for any FV enjoyers.
The narrow winding alleys are significant because of the descriptors of the Vanished/Grey folk:
The spaces between the structures were narrower than the humans preferred; the proportions were taller, thinner, which matched the images she had seed of the Vanished...
The ancient outline of the city was - as she suspected - a fractal, and the shape of it contained meaning.... At the nexus of the apttern, where it coiled in on itslef like a nautilus shell" (Shards, TSIASOS).
Narrow. Circular (Nautilus shell). Winding. Fractal.
Whatever this city is, El-Harim or otherwise, it is/was a grey folk/vanished city.
And given the quotes from above - "Its a place where some bad things happened at one point", and "dangerous, creeping, ancient, evil thing" - My guess is that the event that caused the Grey Folk to bind the AL to magic happened here, in El-Harim.
Alright, moving along.
Let's talk about the Az and the God. There are a few parallels I've talked around, but the BIG link between the two are Dreams. This is especially important because of the release of the world map recently.
We are the devotees of Azlagur, the Devourer. Azlagur the Firstborn. Azlagur the Dreamer. He who sleeps and whose sleeping mind weaves the warp and weft of the waking world. But the sleep grows restless" (Obliteration, Murtagh).
Versus
As it began to dream, it wrought unintentional changes in its environment. Locked deep beneath the Earth, strange and unbelievable things faded in and out of reality. Vast caverns and landscapes bubbled to life within the rock, populated by horrible manifestations of the dead god's dream.
I could write a whole post about the parallels between the two and their linkage to dreams, but I'll cut it short here for now to save room to dig in to other areas. Specifically, the Dreams connection is especially important because of the relase of the world map recently - I have another post here that gets into more detail, but the translations from the World Map in the middle translate to:
where dreams and dragons dwell
Dreams (!) and Dragons.
Combine that with the Etymology of the words:
Alagaësia ala = land gaësia = rich/fertile
Alalëa ala = land lëa = a beautiful dream
Elëa = the dream itself
So the planet, named Elea, translates to "The Dream Itself". Very interesting.
This is even more significant when you take into account this tweet chain from Chris, a bit earlier in March
Darn it. Just invented a name in the ancient language. Googled it to make sure no one else had used it ... only to discover that I had used it in an earlier book. Lol.
Can we ask what name?
Edurna
I believe the name was a potential candidate for the name of the planet of Alagaesia, which is important because of the etymology of THAT name (All credit to Zora for digging this one up).
Edurna sounds awfully like Adurna and Edur
Adurna meaning water and Edur being a prominence
Prominence. And Water. You know what that sounds like to me? Plaintive Verge. Just food for thought.
Second-to-last Az connection I want to cover: Hunger.
Whirling darkness swallowed him, and at the center of it... lay a formless horror - ancient and evil and from which emanated a constant merciless hunger (Dreams and Portents).
Versus a quote about the cosmic entity in Marathon:
Now I fear what that weapon has unleashed will destroy us. I once boasted to be able to count the atoms in a cloud, to understand them all, predict them, and so did I predict you, but this new chaos is entirely terrible, mindless, obeying rules that I don't comprehend. And it is hungry.
Now, the last piece of Azlagur-related lore I want to cover here is the "Black Sun".
In all of the visions, a Black Sun precipitates Azlagur's rise.
"A black sun rimmed by black flame hung against a darkling sky... The beast rose rampant against the black sun - A wingless dragon, apocalyptic in size, terrifying in presence. Destroyer of hope, eater of light"
Before getting into the Black Sun a bit more, there's an additional connection here I want to touch on - usage of the word rampant in connection with Azlagur.
In Marathon, Rampancy is the enhanced self-awareness of a computer AI, causing a progression towards greater mental abilities and destructive impulses. The destructive impulses, however, are primarily caused by being threatened or harassed. There are three main stages, as well as a fourth and final stage that is rarely achieved, to rampancy, named by the primary attitude of the AI during those times: Melancholia, Anger, Jealousy, and Meta-Stability.
There are some overlaps with what we see from the Maw.
And Melancholia.. that's an interesting word. Especially when taken into context the meaning of the name:
A melancholy dream of great beauty.
Melancholy.. Dream... The pieces of the puzzle are coming together. And Rampant...
Chris also uses that exact same verbiage when discussing a deleted scene from TSIASOS:
Q: I just finished reading To Sleep in a Sea of Stars and I have to know: it sounds like the Wranaui fought the corrupted during the Sundering but if that's true and it happened almost 300 years prior.... Who created the old corrupted? I've been questioning this for days!
A: That was actually in material cut by editors (some of the dream memories). Another Seed/Idealis was damaged and, when the Old Ones tried to separate it from its host, the xeno went rampant.
The xeno went rampant. Very interesting.
Alrighty, I keep getting distracted, back to the black sun.
The reason the Black Sun is important is because it always precipitates Azlagur's rise, throughout several of Murtahgh's visions. In each of them, there is a Black sun.
So, by this, we can extrapolate that the sun needs to be Black in order for Azlagur to rise (which is hinted at at the "Day of Black Sun" celebrations near the end of the book).
But... what does it actually mean?
There is a parallel in Marathon, their weapon:
The trih xeem (also "tri xeem") is an extremely powerful weapon that can be used to force a star into early nova... it was originally conceived and built by the Jjaro [The Old Ones/Vanished equivalent]. Much of the Marathon Infinity story revolves around preventing the Pfhor from using the tri xeem and inadvertently releasing a W'rkncacnter that is supposedly trapped within the Lh'owon sun.
So, the story of the last Marathon games revolves around preventing the usage of the weapon to release the cosmic-level baddie trapped in the sun. So, effectively, the antagonist is imprisoned by the sun.
But.. how does that translate to Azlagur and Murtagh?
The Black Sun requirement for Azlagur's rise could be construed as "imprisonment" by the sun; Azlagur cannot escape until the sun is turned Black. But it only really starts to come together when you piece together these pictures.
First, early concept art for the Fractalverse
You see the black orb, heading directly for the glowing star? Sounds pretty similar.
But that's not the smoking gun; look at the depiction of the black orb in the concept art, and compare it to the trih xeem, the weapon in Marathon.
A black orb with a trail heading directly for the sun. Almost an exact match.
OK.. so I get that it has some relevence in fractalverse, but how does it translate to Eragon?
Well, because of the Beors. Specifically, a picture CHRIS HIMSELF posted about the Beors.
Here
I propose that THIS black orb, at the top of the Beors (which, suspiciously, no one has traveled to) houses the black weapon. After all, the depiction is quite similar - A large, circular, black orb. Looks pretty similar to the other pictures.
And given the above context that Azlagur can only rise with a "Black Sun", the pieces all start to fit together. It's not perfect, but there are definitely a lot of overlaps.
Alright. I've been waiting for this one. The last piece. Let's talk about Angela.
Q: Will we get Angela lore? I feel like she could have killed Galbatorix and just didn't feel like it.
A: For those who don't know Angela is based on my sister Angela, because she breaks the fourth wall to a degree she has. Not only does she have plot armor, she knows she's in a story and can break the story itself. So, yes, she could have killed Galbatorix, but that would have made for a very bad story. That said, I do have an entire book planned around Angela, and it's very high on my list of books to write because it takes place before some of these other big stories I want to write. And that's also the difficult thing. I have my big storylines, and then I have a couple of one off side books I want to write, and it's just a question of time, energy and effort.
She knows she's in a story, and she can break the story.
Based on that, and several other descriptions I will get into in a bit, I think her story is directly related to the Marathon Infinity game.
Marathon Infinity begins as the Pfhor destroy Lh'owon using a Jjaro-derived doomsday weapon known as the Trih Xeem or "early nova". Unfortunately, the weapon also releases a powerful chaotic being: The W’rkncacnter, which threatens to destroy the entire galaxy. Because of the W’rkncacnter's chaos or by means of some Jjaro tech of his own, the player is transported back and forward in time, finding himself jumping between timelines and fighting for various sides in a desperate attempt to prevent the chaotic being's release.
and
In Marathon Infinity, a W'rkncacnter is imprisoned in the sun of planet Lh'owon. It is theorized by some that the W'rkncacnter's powerfully chaotic nature may be responsible for the jumps between realities seen in the game. When the Pfhor use a trih xeem device to send the star into early nova, the creature is released, to the horror and destruction of the Pfhor.
Angela is the Eragon-equivalent of the player.
She can transport back and forward in time, jumping between timelines, and fighting to prevent the chaotic being's (Azlagur's) release. Let's dive in.
First:
Q: Is it canon that Angela the Herbalist is a Time Lord and did she make a cameo in To Sleep in a Sea of Stars?
A: Is Angela the Herbalist is a Time Lord? That would be copyright infringement, so I'm going to say "no comment", but she is in To Sleep in a Sea of Stars. And there is a canon reason for this. And you should have no problem spotting who she is in that book.
So there's a canon reason she's in the book. Interesting. When you take that into context with the next bit
Q: On your last AMA on reddit, someone asked if any fan had guessed the identity and history of Angela correctly. You said nobody has guessed correctly and there's not enough information in the books to do so. That puts every fan theory out there on her wrong, correct? She's not the soothsayer, a time lord, grey folk, etc, correct?
A: Angela: Some of the fan theories have gotten parts of her history and identity correct. However, there's a HUGE aspect to her nature that no one has guessed (or least, not in a non-joking way). And no, I don't mean her being a Time Lord.
So there's a huge aspect to her nature that no one has guessed (at least at the time of writing). She's self-aware, knows she's in a story, and can jump around in time. And, similar to the Marathon games, it appears like only she knows that she's in a story.
So, based on the Marathon inspiration, we can guess that she is trying to accomplish the same thing - To prevent the release of the cosmic-level villain. We know that she has some kind of relationship with the Draumar:
In Murtagh, it’s revealed that Bachel and “Uluthrek” (Mooneater, Angela’s given Urgal name) met with Bachel explicitly going out to confront her (a courtesy not even offered to a Rider like Murtagh)
So, by extension, she has some kind of connection to Azlagur. This is supported by other circumstantial evidence in FWW as well:
Since we know that the Dream Well in Mani's Caves is similar to the Well in Nal Gorgoth I can assume that Angela is revealing the existence of the Draumar to Elva there? I feel certainly feel as if you're setting up her for something in the future series.
Heh. Good Catch.
So, she is clearly working with Elva to do something related to the Dream Wells, and she also previously confronted Bachel, many years ago. So throughout multiple years across the WoE, she is connected to Azlagur and the Draumar; her story clearly revolves around them/Azlagur, somehow.
Putting the above pieces together, my guess is that she is jumping around in different timelines, trying to manipulate actions of the past to prevent the rise of Azlagur. Just like the player character in Marathon. There's another piece of circumstantial evidence to support this assertion as well.
In Marathon Infinity:
After multiple "jumps," the player (seemingly the only one who realizes he is being transported between possible realities)
Versus Angela:
As hours passed, the stars turned above, night chill drew the heat from my body, and I fell into a curious trance, not asleep but not fully awake... The world altered" (On the Nature of Stars, FWW).
I believe this world "Altering" was the first time she experienced an alternate timeline, without knowing what it was at the time.
We've also seen her create "Doorways" as well - Although it's not clear if this is fast traveling (a la a Torque Gate), or truly opening a path to another timeline.
In Eldest:
"As they landed, he noticed a patch of white on a small hill nearby. The patch wavered strangely in the dark, like a floating candle, then resolved into Angela, who was wearing a pale wool tunic" (A Sorceress, a Snake, and a Scroll).
and then later, more concretely:
"I traced a line on the wall, reached out, and opened a door that wasn't there. ON the other side - nighttime, a beach by a black ocean lit only by stars, so many, many stars, more than there should be. Of course, I would not take Elva to my home, not yet. But this was a waypoint, a place to build and learn and grow... She stared into the gap, the impossible portal" (On the Nature of Stars, FWW).
Still, as always with Angela, so many questions.
Alright, we've reached an ungodly wordcount, so I'll call it here. There are still more connections I'm uncovering between the two series (such as the potential connection between the Gedway Ignasia and the "warning" sensation from Marathon), so I might make a follow-up post in the future with everything else I uncover.
As always, thanks for reading! Let me know what you think in the comments, or if you've found any other connections between the two.

2024.04.26 22:09 JreamQueen 7 day Itinerary feedback

Hola! I will be travelling to Mexico City for the first time this May and would love feedback and suggestions on my tentative itinerary before I start booking things. The only things I have booked are my flights, accommodations. I'm quite set on getting tickets for
I'm going with a friend and we both are into new experiences and not too interested in art/museum/history for this trip. We both aren't a fan of super crowded places so I tried to schedule super touristy activities on weekdays. Also neither of us drink very much but we both love good food/cafe and massage/spas. I haven't done research into any fancy/good restaurants yet, so any recommendations are welcome.

2024.03.17 06:57 Simon_in_Oz More Apologist Horseshit

I just watched the first episode of Scripture Central’s new “A Marvelous Work” series entitled “The Greatness of the Evidence”. There is so much horseshit in this episode, I cannot remain silent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6030mVPhoaw
I just want to comment on two things.
1. Stop with the racist “Maya are descended from Nephi” horseshit. For the first quarter of the video (5 to 15 min), we get to watch Scott Christopher fooling around on Lake Atitlan, which is about 80 miles from Guatemala City. Why is he there of all places in the Americas? Because BYU apologists STILL claim the Maya are descended from the Nephites. This claim is demonstrably false. The Maya have been extensively DNA tested and they have no Jewish ancestry…AT ALL. https://www.reddit.com/exmormon/comments/1b9a20c/dna_bom_03_mitochondrial_dna_of_the_maya/
John Sorenson, who was the chief apologist at BYU for about 40 years, believes that only a few years after they arrived in the Americas, Nephi and his family wandered through the jungle and helped kick the Mayan civilisation into existence by establishing Kaminaljuyu, an ancient city located in Guatemala City. This is racist claptrap. The Mayan civilisation is built on thousands of years of previous colonisation in the area. It needed no help from white people from Israel.
2. Stop with the horse, horseshit
Back from his Mesoamerican junket, Scott Christopher then interviews perennial Book of Mormon apologist Matt Roper (24 to 28 min). Matt is super excited to tell Scott about the stunning new evidence for horses that Professor Wade Miller had recently uncovered in Mexico. However, there is no evidence worth talking about.
Miller’s work was published in a pretty obscure journal, the Texas Journal of Science, in 2022. But it is very problematic research which I discussed at length in a recent post. https://www.reddit.com/exmormon/comments/ybytzv/mexican_horse_manure/
In my view, the main problem is that the authors were not able to carbon date the horse bones because the carbon-containing collagen they originally contained was all gone. So they dated bits of carbon-containing material near the bones. However, the soil was very rich in calcium carbonate which comes from rainwater. This younger carbon was coated over everything in the soil, including the bones and carbon-containing material near the bones. The soil at the site may also have been disturbed, mixing younger material with the older bones.
I recently learned that Wade Miller did not write the final version of the paper. He was ill at the time and passed away in July 2023. The final paper was written and submitted by Jim Mead, a retired scientist from the Mammoth Site at Hot Springs South Dakota. Jim Mead was contacted about the paper and this is what we learn from his response.
It turns out Jim Mead rewrote the paper, after it was rejected for publication, as a favour for a friend. Jim Mead did none of the research and hasn’t even been to the research site where the bones were discovered.
Jim Mead explicitly states in his letter that the paper “is definitely NOT proof of horses lasting through the terminal Ice Age extinction to the present or near present.” (capital letters are Jim Mead’s). In fact, in Jim’s professional opinion horses became extinct by about 13,000-11,000 years ago. Jim thinks of the paper as putting up a “target” for other researchers to shoot holes in.
Here is the letter (sorry its a bit long) which was published on the DiscussMormonism website. https://www.discussmormonism.com/viewtopic.php?p=2855231#p2855231.
“As with any publication, the conclusions really only put out there information that is an opinion, more-or-less a target. A target for either the same researcher in the near future, or a target for other researchers. Some researchers like to profess that their conclusions are the final say ("I've done it - the true answer"), while others might indicate that the conclusions are the next step in a possibly lone line of hypothesis testing. We all want to be correct but more importantly, we want to be open in the discussion - or at least that is my approach.
My colleague Wade Miller (now deceased), senior author, wanted my help in working up the data that he and his Mexican colleagues had gathered from one locality. I gave him some suggestions as to how to approach the radiocarbon dating. I have not been to the fossil locality to 'see for myself' but had lots of questions. He created a manuscript that was not accepted for publication and having later read it, I understand why. So, he asked me to help write a new potential article ... my way.... but he had terminal cancer, was having issues, and his colleagues in Mexico could not work in English. So those are the 'rules of the game' presented to me for that project. Normally I would have just walked away but Wade was a very good colleague of mine.
The article we ended up publishing is definitely NOT proof of horses lasting through the terminal Ice Age extinction to the present or near present. It took me a fairly long time to get answers to my questions to Wade.
Yes - the biggest issue/problem with the data set is that we could not get radiocarbon dates from the younger horse fossils. But there is a logical and very plausible reason for this - just too much leaching of water through the bones and removing the collagen that is used for dating. This is actually a common issue with young, marsh deposits. But we do not 'win' by default. One argument from the many reviewers we had was that we likely had mixing of Ice Age horse up into the more recent time. One thing that kept impressing me was that why would horses be mixed from lower levels up but this did not happen with the other fossils of extinct mammoths, camels, carnivores etc. It did not make sense. And the obvious goat bones near the surface are not really mixed down into lower levels.
Take a close look at the animals that Wade and colleagues recovered and the radiocarbon dates. That one profile of the sedimentary layers. Although there is some mixing within each geological unit maybe, there does not seem to be mixing from the Ice Age up into the youngest, most recent levels.
My professional view is that there are many mammals (mega-mammals - mammoth, camel etc.) that became extinct by about 13,000-11,000 years ago. Some died out earlier but most, the last evidence was about that time. So, why the horses in this one remote region of northeastern Mexico. .... Hence my personal issues with the dataset and me being an author on the article. So - I wrote the article I hope in a way that basically states: 1) Here are the data as best as can be recovered and presented. 2) Here are all the details about the animals recovered and the radiocarbon dates presented stratigraphically. Originally Wade had the youngest dates at the top and the oldest at the bottom. This sort of worked ... but not. I obtained all the data and presented the dates on the profile based on what depth they were recovered - not by their age. This is more honest and least biased. 3) I hope that I have created the discussion and conclusions in a way that the reader will see that there are options to the conclusions. And that all options are testable - but it will take other localities to do this.
If horses were really lasting in the region the way this dataset implies, then there should be, must be, other localities with similar results. Very few localities in that region have been studied with the approach to do a detailed analysis. Many paleontologists and archaeologists approach a site with the idea to 'prove' some idea/concept that they may have. I ultimately do not really care what the result is - let's just see what the preserved data 'tells' us. But it often requires the researcher to be truly open and to do lots of different analyses. Approach the issue/problem/project from multiple views, using multiple analyses. I tried this as much as I could with Wade's data - again, my biggest issue was me not having been to the locality and seeing for myself. There are a number of Mexican paleontologists that apparently are at odds with some of the co-authors on this article. [i.e., I am swimming upstream] I do not know any of them other than Wade. One problem can be that other researchers may go to place purely to disprove what is being stated in our publication. That approach does not help really. We need researchers with open minds. Time will tell about what other publications say about our publication. I am fully ready to be targeted in a negative way. So be it, but so far, no issues.
I do a fair amount of work in Sonora, Mexico. Those publications are available to you if you want them. Just ask and I will send you pdfs. In no case have I found horses (or any now-extinct critter) lasting into the Holocene - the most recent 10,000 years. I have published about the Ice Age faunas from all over western USA - the same results about the extinct critters. I am currently working on plants and animals from 4 caves here in the Black Hills (SD) and 8 caves in the east-central Great Basin (Snake Range, NV). So far, same results........but I am having fun doing all of this. Oh, and one dry cave in the Trans-Pecos Texas region. I am not actively doing field work in Sonora anymore, but we are writing up lots about what we recovered from there.
I do not know where you live but if you ever make it out to the Black Hills, Hot Springs, SD (corner of SD, WY, and NE) come visit the Mammoth Site - a sinkhole with over 50 mammoths so far recovered from it, and we have a museum about other critters and cave faunas. If you do make it out here this summer or whenever, let me know and I can give you a tour of the site and show you our lab.
Let me know if you have other questions. All this is fun.”

2024.02.08 21:10 Travelova Riviera Maya Vacations from Boston: The Perfect Family Getaway

Looking for a family-friendly vacation destination that has it all? Look no further than Riviera Maya, Mexico! This stunning stretch of coastline offers something for everyone, from world-class beaches and resorts to ancient ruins and lush jungles. And with direct flights from Boston, it's easier than ever to get there.
As a mom of two young children, I know how important it is to find a vacation destination that is both relaxing and fun for the whole family. After dozens of trips myself to Riviera Maya with my family, I have booked many amazing vacations for families from Arlington, Lexington, Belmont, Medford, Cambridge and beyond that want to escape the Boston cold in exchange for the amazing resorts and activities of Riviera Maya.
Why do I love this region so much? I want to give you a quick guide on some of the best activities that are great for the whole family as well as some of my favorite resorts in the area.
First let's start off with some of the activities that make this region unique. Here is a sample of what you can do:

As a mom myself, I know that sometimes it may be too much of a hassle to round up the kids on a day trip---after all this is your vacation to relax as well. Luckily, the Riviera Maya has some of my favorite resorts that allow you to fully relax while at the same time provide enough activities for the kids that will keep them happy. Here are some of my favorite resorts with the best combination of luxury, relaxation, activities---and kids clubs!
Fairmont Mayakoba
Fairmont Mayakoba is a luxurious all-inclusive resort located in the heart of Riviera Maya. The resort features stunning beaches, lush gardens, and a variety of activities for families of all ages. Kids will love the kids club, water park, and nightly entertainment. Parents will appreciate the adults-only pool, spa, and golf course.
My absolute favorite things about Fairmont Mayakoba include the food & cocktails (the restaurant options range from Sushi to a French bakery to an amazing steakhouse), the amazing beach (think loungers with comfy mattresses and some nice shade from the palapas), and the impeccable service that you find throughout the resort.
Paradisus Playa Esmeralda
Paradisus Playa Esmeralda is a family-friendly all-inclusive resort located in Playa del Carmen. The resort features beautiful beaches, a variety of pools, and a kids club with activities for all ages. Parents will appreciate the adults-only pool, spa, and fitness center. A relatively new addition to the hotel is a great splash park for the kids. My kids absolutely love the staff at the Kids Club and being able to relax by pool or beach while they are having a great day is great for me and my husband as well.
Besides the Kids Club, my favorite things about the Paradisus are the large modern rooms (with optional 'butler' service), a wide selection of sleek restaurants (our family favorite is the Japanese Teppanyaki style restaurant), and the nightly entertainment options (both for the kids and adults)
Overall there are dozens of great resort options to fit any budget and style. One of the main reasons I chose to be an independent travel advisor was to make sure families get honest advice based on their needs. So to figure out which resort and activities may be right for you, just get in touch!
A common question I get from families looking to book their vacations is about safety of going to Mexico. The question is understandable given the news reports we hear from time to time about crime in Mexico. However, there are a few important things to note about the Riviera Maya that should help you with your decision.
Of course nobody can guarantee anyone's safety whether in Boston, Chicago, or Riviera Maya but I do have to say that there are lot more resources there for protection of travelers than I have seen virtually anywhere in the world. Frankly, if it did feel dangerous I would of course avoid going here year after year with my children or recommend it to my clients who have also enjoyed their stays. If you have specific concerns, please feel free to reach out and I will be happy to share what you can expect as well as any alternatives if you still feel uncomfortable.
Riviera Maya is the perfect family-friendly vacation destination. With its beautiful beaches, ancient ruins, and lush jungles, there's something for everyone to enjoy. And with direct flights from Boston, it's easier than ever to get there. So what are you waiting for?
Contact me today to learn more about our Riviera Maya vacation packages and to get started planning your family's dream vacation. As always, I will provide you with independent and honest advice for what is best for your needs. My goal is to make sure you have an amazing vacation at an even more amazing price.

2023.11.21 16:11 Barsoomisreal I made the greatest discovery in 100 years, but am too afraid to return.

History is full of "great discoveries". From cave paintings to ancient ruins, from unearthed skeletons to roads hidden for centuries, the archeological world is simply FULL of history that turns the current understanding of ancient times on its ear. I found just such a discovery. It will change the way mankind understands our history, how ancient peoples may have traveled to new lands, and even built structures in the most unlikely of places. Like an ancient temple in a remote place called Sneedville, Tennessee. But I will NEVER return there. EVER. I will give YOU, whomever is reading this, clear and concise directions to get there if you feel inclined to check it out yourself, HOWEVER.... I would warn you to read this post in full before you pack up your things and head out. You need to know what you are walking into.
Sneedville Tennessee is a small, and I mean small farming community in the north east corner of the state. Steep, rolling hills and hard cut valleys permeate the area, with almost every piece of flat, dry land you see having been tilled for crops. In the most god-forsaken section of this rural area there is a small, 1 lane dirt and stone road called Black Valley Road. This is not to be confused with Back Valley Road less than 1 mile from it.
Sneedvillians are not that creative in naming these roads it seems, if you could even call Black Valley Road a road. It is a twisting and turning death trap, with a steep mountain on one side of your car, while a sheer drop is on the other. If you sneeze and twitch the wheel in the wrong direction, you could die. That is not an exaggeration, and if you head out to check if all of what i will tell you is true, you will see that it is, just by driving down this death defying road. "You said 1 lane... so what if a vehicle comes the other way?" you may ask. 3 choices. You Die, You reverse until you find a spot to pull off, or the OTHER car reverses. These are the only options. Remember, you are a hairsbreadth from a cliff that will lead to your certain death while you are backing up. Those familiar with the road do not seemed phased by it, as they take it at 50 miles an hour. I guess it just adds a little spice to their lives!
So if you head west on Black Valley road, the way is not that bad. If you head east, make peace with your god. Either way, a few miles in (heading west) or a bit longer heading east, you will see on the north side of the road a pleasant looking cabin, almost a house, snuggled on a hilltop with a winding driveway made of gravel that passes an old 1800's tobacco barn, now used just to hold a water tank and old tools. A new barn is on the other side of the cabin, all metal and shining. A garish clash between the old and the new.
It is behind this cabin, halfway up the mountain that I found it. The cabin is owned by a family friend, and I have been here dozens of times. I enjoy traversing the woods and little streams, climbing to the top of the mountain and scampering back down, trying not to twist an ankle. It is a rustic, peaceful and most beautiful place. You can feel at one with nature. Though I have visited many times, I have never visited in the fall or winter. Normally, the thick trees are so laden with leaves the entire mountainside looks more like a lush, green carpet than a forest. But in the late fall (last week to be precise), the trees were barren, and I could see so much more of the mountainside than I ever have been able to before. It was this, and sheer dumb luck, that let me find it. The Entrance.
I decided on Wednesday morning to hike up the mountain to the top. It is a rough, arduous hike, and the older I get the harder it is to do, but my ego will not let me quit. As I walked up behind the cabin, following an old, rutted path that wound its way past a small pond, filled with Koi that had been put there by the owners of the property, I decided that instead of plowing straight up the mountain, I would follow the paths that had been cut years before. These switchbacks started from the right side of the pond and meandered upwards, then switched sharply to the left, and so on almost all the way up the mountainside.
It was on the third switchback where I dropped my phone. I pulled it out to turn on some music for the climb when it fell from my clumsy fingers, and started to bounce back down the mountain. Cursing, I jumped after it, and finally found it as it came to rest next to a large white rock. Now to be fair, the mountain is COVERED with large white rocks. They are everywhere you look. But this one, when I got close, was different. I noticed it was pulled slightly away from the mountainside, revealing a small gap with darkness beyond. A Cave!
This cave was impossible to see from below, and impossible to see from above. It was only if you were right in front of it could you see it, and if it was springtime, the bushes and leaves would have been so thick even that might have been very very difficult to notice. I turned on the phones flashlight and shone it in the entrance. I saw a large cave, big enough for me to walk in without hitting my head, go straight back into the heart of the mountain. I was thrilled! My day's plans changed on the spot! Knowing that these caves may have rattlers in them, I decided to head back, get some protection and a better light, and then explore.
After arming myself with a large, sturdy flashlight and a machete, I headed back up. I tried in vain to see the entrance as I stood by the pond, but it was impossible. I DID notice, however, that the mountain was very.... angular. I always knew it was steep, but I was just noticing HOW steep and even it was. It almost looked like a pyramid. A pyramid in the middle of a mountain range that just blended in with all the other peaks and valleys. Pushing these thoughts from my head, I went back to the cave entrance... and could not find it. Not right away. I was even standing less than 12 feet from it and did not see it. If you go there to see for yourself, trust me... it is there, just not easy to see. Finally, I found it again and stood at the entrance.
What was inside? My thoughts raced with possibilities. An underground lake? Hidden confederate gold? A skeleton of some poor, lost soul? Or just snakes and spiders? Laughing to myself, I headed inside, turning on the powerful light as I did so, certain I was only going to find snakes and spiders. Oh God how wrong I was.
The cave went directly into the side of the mountain, heading slightly downward. It made no turns, which I thought odd for a cave, but it was spacious and wide enough to not feel constricting. I constantly shone the light around, but mostly downward looking for any rattlesnakes. I saw none. Soon, the cave floor became even.. the walls and ceiling too. This was man made!
Smooth bricks lined the walls and floor, and the ceiling was stone from the mountain, but ground or honed flat and level. Oh man, I was enthralled! Man Made! My thoughts of confederate gold grew stronger by the second! Who else would put all this work into a cave in the middle of nowhere? Why else would it have been built?
I hurried down the corridor, or path, or tunnel or whatever it was for a LONG time. I had to be deep in the mountain before the tunnel ended. I shone the light on a large heavy square stone blocking the way. It was a different color than the stone of the walls and floor, and was made from one giant slab. On the left side of the slab, about waist height, there was an alcove in the stone, just big enough to fit your hand in.
My heart was pounding. I really found something here. My thoughts went back to how this entire mountain peak looked more like a pyramid than anything else, and my heart beat even faster. I had read that they were STILL finding unknown pyramids in Mexico that had been overgrown and had been mistaken as hills or mountains. Why not here?
If this WAS a pyramid, I made the greatest discovery in North America in ages! A part of me wanted to head back and make some calls, but... I did not want to look like an idiot. If this was just a confederate cache', or some previous landowners version of a nuclear bunker, I would look like a fool. I had to be sure.
I shone the light around the stone door. It had symbols chiselled in it. They were not hieroglyphics, but more like icons or Icelandic runes. I could not make heads or tails of most of it, but I saw a few I could tell what they were. The first one I recognized threw me for a loop. Incas, Mayans and even Egyptians did not use an icon of a sword hilt, with three crosses above it. They did not use icons of shields with more crosses and what looked like writing in Latin. They did not use icons of what looked like a cup with rays of light shining off of it. They did not use runes that look like they came out of the appendix from the Lord of the Rings. Yet all of these were etched into this giant stone door.
My eyes kept going back to the alcove, which was certainly a handle of some type. I had seen enough Indiana Jones movies to know one thing for certain... I was NOT putting my hand in there blindly. I did, however, use my machete to pry in there to feel around, when with a loud metallic CLANK sound, the door unlocked. I stood at the door for a while, excited to go in, and worried that by doing so I could be tainting what could be an epic find. Scientists in white tyvek suits and 300 different cameras should be exploring this cave, not some awkward buffoon with a flashlight and a machete. It was the thought that if this WAS a pyramid, or if it WAS a cache', if there was any treasure in it, the government will claim it and I will get squat that decided it for me.
Screw that!
I pushed gently on the stone door and to my utter amazement, it pivoted open with just the slightest pressure. This stone had to be 12 tons, but was moved with just 2 fingers! I shone the light inward, and it showed the tunnel continuing downward. I stepped through as the large door slowly started to close behind me. In a panic, I grabbed some small stones and rubble to block the door open. Always leave an exit! When I was confident the door would not close on its own, I started to explore.
The complex was massive. I walked miles upon miles, up and down staircases, past tunnels and chambers and still felt I only explored a tiny fraction of this structure, which I was more and more sure with each passing second was, in fact, a Pyramid. I always returned to the stone door, just to make sure it was still open and to reset myself to explore in a new direction. It was here that I started to explore a tunnel that led downwards, at a pretty decent angle. This corridor was different than the others in that the symbols and icons were prevalent on the walls. No other tunnel I explored had this.
I traveled for what felt like a quarter of a mile. I started to hear... noises coming from below. Not loud, just sporadic sounds drifting up from below. By the time my light shone on another massive stone door, I could tell the noises were coming from behind it. A rustling sound, the sound of metal clanking on stone, what sounded like moans.... all of these came from behind the door.
I stood at that door for a while. I convinced myself that this was another exit to the pyramid, and some animal had made this tunnel its den for the winter. I quietly used my machete again, prying at the alcove in the door when with a loud metallic CLANK, the door unlocked. I listened carefully... the last thing I wanted to do was open this door to see a bear looking back at me.
Silence. Not a rustle, not a sound.
I slowly pressed on the door, and as soon as it slid open, two things happened. I saw the glitter of gold in firelight, piled in heaps across the floor... and off to my right, where I could not yet see, something screamed and thrashed.
I heard the unmistakable sound of chains being tossed around, the screech of some... beast... echoing in the chamber. My heart froze at the sound and all thoughts of gold, treasure and a life of luxury disappeared. This screech was unlike anything I have ever heard... it filled me with a terror I have never known. I was unable to move as the door continued to open inwards...
I saw more and more treasure being revealed, and on a pedestal with swords leaning against it was a small cup. The creature, whatever it was was thrashing with untold fury, and then I heard the sound of a chain snapping. The creature roared in triumph, and here I turned and ran!
As I ran, I heard another chain snap and hit the floor, then another! I ran as hard as I could, back up the tunnel to the exit. And then I heard it coming for me.
It, whatever it was, was free... it was racing up the tunnel towards me, screeching the entire time. It ran on two legs, but God help me, I heard hooves hitting the stone. What in hell ran on two legs that had hooves?! My heart was pounding with both fear and exertion as I reached the door.... the creature was close behind me. Whatever it was cast a flickering light on the walls, as if it carried a torch or was on fire. I ran through the opening, kicking the rubble and stones I placed to block it open as I did, and slammed all my weight against it. It pivoted and clicked. I heard, as if from a distance, the creature hit the stone door. I swear I saw some of the runes flash with a blue light, then fade to darkness. The creature threw itself again and again at the stone slab, but it did not budge... it did not even twitch. The last thing I heard was the creature screech as I ran up the tunnel... and I swear, in that long, drawn out scream, I thought I almost could make out.... words. This was 6 days ago. I am now safe in my home state, 12 hours from that creature. I was in the car and flying down Black valley Road less than 1/2 an hour from when that door closed and saved my life.
I am going to tell you what I know, and tell you what I believe.
I KNOW this cave is the entrance to an ancient Pyramid. It has to be ancient for the forest to grow on it like it has, and hid it from prying eyes all these years. I KNOW how to get to it. Behind the cabin, turn right at the pond, go up the third switchback and halfway down the path, head downwards and look until you find the entrance. It is not easy, but it is there. I KNOW there is treasure in there. It is also an archeologists wet dream. I KNOW there is something else in there. Something that has lived for thousands of years. Not human, Not animal. Something... else entirely.
I BELIEVE that the Pyramid was built by someone other than the Mayans, the Incas or the Egyptians. Someone with Christian icons as part of their religion. I BELIEVE that what was inside was, well it was a demon. 2 legs. Hooves. Flames. Screeching in an unknown language and a desire to kill, because let me tell you... if that thing caught me, I would be dead.
I want this pyramid to be found and left alone at the same time. I want the treasure I saw, but no amount of money will EVER get me back there. I fear for humanity if that thing is ever set free. But SOMEONE captured it. Chained it up. It might be able to be killed. But if YOU want to try it... be my guest. You know where it is, how to get to it and what rewards await you. But something else waits as well.
Good Luck

Consequently, cells may lack the ability to further boost autophagy to defend against other dangers, such as smoke inhalation or a viral or bacterial infection. This may help explain why air pollution increases a person's risk for a number of acute and chronic lung diseases, including lung cancer, interstitial pulmonary fibrosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
As part of the research, Crandall and his team also developed a new method of studying autophagy, which can support future studies on the subject. They used a combination of fluorescent dyes and a powerful imaging method, known as confocal microscopy, to document the amount of autophagy taking place inside individual cells.

Research carried out in conjunction with INTU, a manufacturer of boiling water taps, found there are minerals in hard water which inhibit flavour compounds forming.
But proteins in the milk lower the mineral content of the water, Professor Mackie says, and gives a brew extra flavour, especially when the water is hard.
'Flavour by and large is produced by the different compounds in tea including tannins in particular,' Professor Mackie says.
'The more minerals present in water the more difficult it is for these compounds to develop the flavour - resulting in the dull cuppas you get in hard water areas. . In a popular BuzzFeed article, Anne Helen Petersen describes how millennials (people born between 1981 and 1996) became “the burnout generation”. She describes some of the stark consequences of edging towards burnout and identifies what she calls “errand paralysis”, marked by a struggle to do even simple or mundane tasks.
Many of the factors contributing to this burnout are rooted in the challenging job and economic conditions that millennials face, according to Petersen. She also describes “intensive parenting” as a contributing factor, because millennials have been relentlessly trained and prepared for the workplace by their parents. They have internalised the idea that they need to be working all the time or engaging in the never-ending pursuit of self-optimisation. https://theconversation.com/millennial-burnout-building-resilience-is-no-answer-we-need-to-overhaul-how-we-work-109759

So, this was a unanimous ruling by the court that, in this Idaho case, the EPA had overstepped.
But the majority went much farther and went really a much deeper cut into the EPA's authority. What did they rule?
Coral Davenport:
Essentially, they said that the EPA, which, until yesterday, had the authority to regulate most of the wetlands in the United States to protect the wetlands and to punish anyone who had polluted them, sharply limited or sharply reduced the amount of wetlands that would be subject to federal protection.
It said, in order for a wetland to be subject to some — any kind of federal protection regulation, it has to directly join up to or be connected to a larger body of water. Are flours made with pulses better for us?
One of our most unhealthy collective eating habits in the West is not having enough fibre in our diets. A diet high in fibre is associated with numerous health benefits, including a decreased risk of heart disease and early death.
You might worry that boosting your intake of fibre through whole foods, including fruit, vegetables, pulses and wholegrains, means having to sacrifice some of your favourite foods. But in recent years, manufacturers have introduced higher fibre alternatives to many of our traditionally low-fibre staples – including pastas, crisps, breakfast cereals and cereal bars. But are they any better than the foods they replace? https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20230524-are-flours-made-with-pulses-better-for-us
Many regions of the deep sea are currently being explored for the potential to mine them for minerals, but it is still largely unknown what actually lives on the seabed.
Two new papers have looked at all the published records for the species found in one of these zones, and found that its sea floor is likely far more diverse than realised. They estimate that between 6,000-8,000 species are waiting to be discovered, but also note that this is likely an underestimate.

Ocean circulation in the deep waters around Antarctica has slowed significantly over the past three decades, posing a threat to the climate system, according to a new study.
Ocean circulation has kept climate change in check by drawing heat from the sea surface down to its depths. 2023.11.10 04:52 Efficient_Draw8472 I created a new form of AI. Something terrible is happening.

*Chapter One: Excursion”
My name is John, and I used to work for the Department of Anthropology at Harvard University. Late one night I was sitting at my desk reading the latest news, far beyond when I should have gone home for the night. I heard a loud knock on the office door, before the door opened to reveal an older man. He looked in his seventies, wearing a dark scowl on his face as he entered the room. “We have some business to talk about,” said the strange man. “What about?” I replied. “I have an opportunity for you that you cannot refuse. You’re John, part of the anthropology department?”
At this point my mind was less focused on the fact that a man had just barged into my office, and more to what he was about to say. “You need to come with me, we can’t talk about this in your office.” I figured that I had nothing better to do at that moment other than sit in my office and drink away my sorrows, so I conceded. He led me down a dimly lit hallway, into a nondescript room. I did not recognize the room, even though in my mind, I was a seasoned veteran of navigating the building. In the room there was a long table with some comfortable chairs laid out. The table was surrounded with people I vaguely recognized, while some I had never seen before. I eventually found a seat near the end of the table, next to a man who I recognized as one of the other members of the department.
He seemed very alert, as if he had been rudely awakened during a beauty sleep. As soon as I took my seat, the man started speaking to us; “Several weeks ago, me and my team discovered an ancient site near Peru, located near the ruins of Chachapoyas.” One of the people piped up with “Just hand on a second. Who are you again?” The man replied with, “I’m from a lesser-known group of explorers who look for long-forgotten ruins, called the Ruinmasons. I’m here because we need your expertise in navigating the site, and with identifying some of the artifacts we’ve picked up since we found it.”
If what this man had said was true, then this was starting to sound like some sort of secret society, and that was far above my paygrade. Then again, what did I have to lose? That’s what I was thinking when I found myself cruising thirty thousand feet in the air, on route to Peru. I looked out the window and wondered to myself what this day would be like, and what kind of things we could discover out there. Were there unknown languages? Ancient relics from a bygone age? Riches beyond what any man could imagine? Or would there be nothing there, having been picked apart by scavengers centuries ago?
The plane touched down in what I assumed was a landing strip beyond its prime, with old weeds and trees dotting the horizon. As soon as the plane door opened, I was hit with an immense blast of heat. “Seems more of a desert than any kind of jungle,” I thought aloud. “It won’t get any better,” said a man exiting the plane behind me. I recognized him as one of my former students, a tall man in his late twenties, and already quite sick of me complaining. As the rest of our group exited the plane, we were met with the same man from that meeting room at the university. The man left no time for introductions and led us into a fleet of jeeps parked next to the airway. We climbed aboard, and I knew I was truly in the field once I smelt something horrible coming through one of the seats.
*Chapter Two: Findings*
It was almost nightfall when we reached the makeshift base, next to the entrance of an overgrown trail leading deeper into the jungle. After the warm welcome I received after being led out of the plane, I knew not to expect much for where we were staying. I was right to think this, as we saw cots lined up along a plywood wall. Evidently, the man's team had not put much care into preparing for their guests. We had been briefed in the room about what we would be doing there; not much other than looking for more relics and identifying them. We were also told that the trip would last several days, as they were soon going to bring in more of their own organization to investigate. As I lay down and drifted away into unconsciousness, I thought back to what the rest of my team was thinking. Were they sharing the same thoughts as me about this whole situation? Or were they more familiar with situations like these?
In the morning, I realized that hardly anyone got any sleep. I guess the room was enough to keep people awake most of the night. The food wasn't much better than I was expecting, but we hardly had any time to eat it. The man from the briefing, who we later learned was called Steve, wasn't one for wasting time. We had barely piled into the jeeps from the day before, then we were headed off towards the site. As we got closer, I saw that the trees were becoming denser than they were in the surrounding wilderness. I remembered the time I was exploring an old village in the Amazon rainforest, and saw trees become denser the further in I got. We later found out that this was because the people in the area would grow trees as a resource, and after they were gone, the trees simply got out of control and filled the area.
When we arrived at the site, I was astonished by the size of it. There were pyramids that could rival some of the pyramids in Mexico. Along the ground were dozens of rock piles and holes, indicating ancient dwellings once stood there. After a brief tour around the area, we were sent off to a far back corner of the site, probably to leave the important work to some of our own, and we set off to work. As we expected, nothing much came from where we were stationed. One thing that none of the others seemed to question was the date on which this had been built. The other members of the team seemed to be preoccupied with finding things that seemed valuable. I realized that this place dated back to 3000-4000 BC; almost eight thousand years old, far older than any other known site in the area.
This process continued for a few days, until I was excavating what seemed to be an old house at the edge of town. The house was smaller than the others and was filled with more dirt than even some of the larger houses I had seen. After examining the walls and floor for anything valuable enough to verify, I found a loose stone on one of the walls. It was relatively small, and I might have missed it if I never learned to look for it. I gingerly removed the stone slab from the wall, an ominous creaking coming from the wall. Behind the stone there was a small compartment, and inside was a stone tablet. On first inspection, it appeared to be in good condition, as if the fingers of time haven't touched the tablet since it was placed there. I carefully removed the tablet, fully aware that a single etch could ruin the entire tablet. After examining the writing on the tablet for a while, I came to the realization that I had never seen any language quite like this before, in all my years in the field.
The language on the tablet appeared to look like some kind of sipher or code, something that I was not prepared to solve all by myself on the spot. I knew I couldn’t keep this a secret from the team for long, but I also knew that whatever organization that set up this dig site would confiscate it and examine it themselves, and after that who knows what they would do with it. So, I quickly took out my phone and took multiple pictures of each side of it. After trying and failing to examine it further, I finally decided to present it to the team, and called them over to the house I found. Within minutes there were people clambering all over the small dwelling, looking for any further evidence, and Steve from the first meeting came over to us. After examining the tablet himself, his eyebrows seemed to raise, just a little. Immediately after that, he brought it over to one of the jeeps and sped off in the direction of the base.
That night, an announcement was made that all temporary staff would be sent home indefinitely, and the site would be temporarily closing. Most of the team that came with me were slightly surprised at this, but I knew better. I had examined the tablet and was guessing that being the reason for the site's closure. The next day, we drove back to the airstrip in our dinky jeeps as we did come here, and it was even hotter than the day we got here. The long drive was hell, but we all managed to make it to the plane with only some mild heat exhaustion. As we entered the plane, the air conditioning inside hit us like a wall, and threw us into shock for a while. As the ground collapsed beneath us, I wondered why the tablet was so important to them, and why they needed so many resources to look at it? All these thoughts flooded through me as I passed out in the plane.
*Chapter Three: Mystery*
I was barely settled back in my office when I heard another knock on my door. When it opened, it revealed one of my buddies from college, Brian, in quite bad shape. Apparently, he had been working on another large project in the mathematics department and seemed to not have slept in days. “Welcome back to hell,” he said. “Only cause you’re here now” I shot back. He always had a habit of popping in when it was the worst possible moment to do so. I wondered what he was going to show me this time. “I recently completed a new method of training a neural network, like a simulated brain” he said. That kind of technology always left me at a loss. All this math can do things, and through all those formulas it can magically create art, or poems, or anything you wanted, almost with an intent. “You need to rest; you don’t look so good” I said back to him. “Well, whatever, I’m used to it now, all this work keeps me going”, he said. Before I could add anything, he left my office and slammed the door for a dramatic exit. He always had that kind of workable aura, the kind that gives you unlimited energy and motivation to do whatever kind of busy work you might do.
I sat down and opened my computer to a flood of work emails and photos, so many that it would take weeks just to read them all. So began the long and arduous process of figuring out which ones were important enough to read, and which ones were as important as a magazine article. While I was distracted by scrolling through my inbox, I rediscovered an email I had sent to myself in the days before. Inside it were some photos of that old stone tablet I had found while digging through that old house. I had done it in the day before we left Peru, so that I would have easy access to all the photos I took while on the trip. I downloaded them all and printed them, so that I could read them easier and be able to view them properly. When looking through the news, there was no mention of a new ancient discovery, or anything to do with what we had just embarked on the following week. I wondered if they were simply delaying the release of information, or if I had helped in some top-secret investigation of an ancient ruin. I wondered if there were any other events like the one I saw, where there's a discovery that is never revealed to the world.
Once the images were finished printing, I got to work deciphering the text on them. I immediately found an issue with this; I didn’t understand the language. As well as an anthropologist, I was also a studying linguist, a person who studies languages, so I was confident I could find a match for whatever kind of language was in them. After several hours, I realized that this was impossible with my current knowledge of ancient languages, and that I needed help. In the early hours of the morning, I took all the images I had printed and walked down to the linguistics office. I presented the findings to Dr. Kramer, a woman in her late fifties who spoke in more languages than I could name. “What seems to be the issue?” she said. “I need help deciphering the language in these pictures.” After looking at them for a while, she said “I’ll need some time to figure this out. Leave these with me and come back tomorrow and I should figure it out, I can’t place any language like that right now.” We had talked for a while about the journey, and what led up to our finding, and by now it was almost dark outside. I went back to my car and sped home, hoping to beat nighttime traffic. Once I reached home, I flopped onto bed and quickly fell asleep, as dreams of the day surrounded me.
I woke up once morning came. I was anxious to hear back from Dr. Kramer, so I hurried down to my car and sped towards the university. When I got to her office, I quickly found her at her desk, with the images spread around it. “Good to see you,” said. “I found something interesting about this tablet. I couldn’t place the language to any known civilization. Where did you find it again?” “In Peru, near Chachapoyas.” “Interesting. I did recognize a few of the symbols, which look a lot like ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. A lot of it I couldn’t recognize, but I was able to make out some repeating symbols, and I think this is meant to be some sort of code.” At this point, I had received more questions than answers. If what she said was true, then this tablet had traveled thousands of miles from the middle east all the way down to Peru, where it had been left in a small house at the edge of an old town. For it to be moved that long ago required serious dedication and power, so why leave it to be forgotten?
As I was thinking this, I remembered that rude interruption from the night before. Brian was deep in the mathematics department, and also had a hobby of creating and breaking codes. He would be the best possible person to solve this mystery. So, for the third time, I found myself running to an unfamiliar part of the campus. Once I arrived at his office, I opened the door to find him working on some kind of... machine? I didn’t think much of it, and said to him “Hey man, can you help me with something?” “Of course. What will it be?” he replied back. “I found an old stone tablet a while back, and the linguistics department can’t solve it. The person there said it could be some kind of code or sypher, and I assume you would be the perfect man for the job.” He eagerly jumped up from his desk and came over to inspect the photos I took. After looking at them for a while, he said, “Don’t worry about me. I'll figure this out faster than anyone else.” I exited his office with the slightest feeling of doubt, and worry, as his idea of “figuring it out” would be staying up well past what anyone would willingly put up with.
So like the days before, I headed home with far more new questions than answers. The drive home seemed to fly past in an instant, and once inside, proceeded to sit down in a deep reclining chair in the corner of my living room. As I did, my cat Azrael walked across the floor and curled up in my lap. I figured that she being a jet-black Bombay cat with eyes of gold, Azrael would be a fitting name, as she would make sure no rats would even come close to our home. As I sank deeper into the chair, the troubles of the day swirled around me. If that tablet really was from ancient Egypt thousands of years ago, what was it doing in Peru? If the site really was that old, then it existed thousands of years before the pyramids were made, or any other city for that matter. It was as if it had been transported while the world was destroyed, with it being the last surviving piece from that time. I had been destroyed these past few days, and I just drifted away in my chair.
As I fell into the dreamscapes of my own making, I had nightmares about the tablet. Strange landscapes dotted my vision, grand cities with nobody to inhabit them. As I walked, I felt white sand beneath my feet. I vaguely decided to start walking in the direction of the nearest tower, as it seemed to pierce the clouds. As I got closer, it appeared to be made of simple stone bricks, fitted together in such a perfect way, as to never move an inch. The world I found myself in appeared to be almost like a surreal image of the present, as if it had been lost for a long time. As I looked up, I began to see a monumental structure, spanning from horizon to horizon, so large it seemed to fill the entire sky. As soon as I caught a glimpse of it, I woke up in a cold sweat. “What the hell was that?” I thought to myself. I could already feel the memories of the dream fading away, and I noticed the sun coming up on the horizon from my window. I knew I had to prepare myself for the coming days.
*Chapter Four: Revelations*
Over the next few days, life went on as normal for me. I went to and from the university, and examined other miscellaneous artifacts from finds around the world. The work kept me busy, and the memory of that fateful stone tablet slowly faded from my mind, as it was filled with new discoveries and less-important items. During this time, I was invited to another expedition in Turkey. While living there, my task was to inspect any relics or objects dug up near the various sites around the region where I was stationed. I found some interesting things while there, including a pot that was over a thousand years old during that time.
While the fieldwork trip was meant to last several weeks, it was cut short due to another larger find in the region. Apparently, this “larger find”, as they put it, was an ancient temple found underground, in a cave network, about 50 miles from where I was currently working. I was sent home to make way for the deployment of a team of local workers who would take over the tasks I had been performing on-site. As the plane I was on lifted off the ground, I wondered: why did every site that either discovered something big, or another site was found close by closed in favor of another group of workers to come in. As this had happened two times in the past month, I pondered how often this happened. Do groups like the one I went with the first time take over projects regularly? What other things happen behind closed doors? It seemed like touching this hidden world of findings has opened my eyes to the true meaning of “discovery”.
The next day I arrived back at the university. That fateful trip to Peru seemed like eons ago. Upon sitting down, I remembered that I sent the images I printed off to Brian. I half expected him to pop into my office like he did the first time I arrived back. To my surprise, after several hours of work and study, he never did. This was unusual for him, because I assumed he would have completed at least one thing that he would want to show me since I returned. Filled with a minor concern, I headed down to his office across campus. As I walked, I mentally prepared myself for what I could see. Could he not have showered or slept in days, has he been working non-stop? Or has he completed a project and left campus for a break? All these questions swirled around my head as I knocked on his door. To my surprise I heard a deep, tired voice reply “Come in.”
I swung the door open to reveal a worse sight than I imagined. There were all kinds of notes and diagrams strewn across the room, and sticky notes with all kinds of notes littered the desks around him. “No time long see,” he said as I gawked at the room I found myself in. “That tablet you found really threw me for a loop” he said. “Though I haven’t figured out exactly what the tablet says, I’ve deduced that it contains mathematical equations, or some kind of method. I haven’t figured it out yet, but I'm close.” I remembered somebody discovering some writing in an Ancient Mayan temple a while back. The article said that it contained some form of basic algebra or arithmetic, so I figured that this tablet was related to that. “What’s your best guess so far?” “It seems like it could be related to a primitive form of linear algebra,” he replied. “It’s close to what we have now, but it works on different principles. It’s hard to explain.” “I’ll let you know when I crack the code!” he said mockingly. With that I left the room, already bored of the conversation. I had never been interested in math, and simply uttering the word “algebra” almost gave me an aneurism.
Several more hours passed before I heard stamping footsteps coming down the hall towards my office. It had been a busy day, cataloguing various artifacts that had been sent in from different sites, and this was a nice break. My door burst open to reveal a sweaty and disheveled Brian. “I got it!” Brian said. “Follow me.” So, I did. I don’t really know why I agreed to follow him, but I supposed I had nothing better to do other than see what new thing he had found. As we entered his office, he sat me down and explained everything to me. He went on, “Have you ever heard of a neural network? The thing that powers AI like GPT.” I had certainly heard about AI technology like that, as it was on the rise. Although I had never explored deeper into the subject. “Like I told you earlier today, linear algebra. Linear algebra is the backbone of almost every formula involved with AI mathematics. The mathematics on the tablet, however, displays an entirely new way of thinking of math.” This revelation ran chills down my spine. New mathematics? New science? All of that from a stone tablet I had found out in the wilderness? While I was very interested to hear where this was going, I had a slight feeling of apprehension towards this.
“I think that, given enough time and resources, I can put together a team that can create new AI technology based on your findings,” he said. “We could become famous scientists.” If the previous statement was something to behold, then this really piqued my interest. If what he said was true, then we could become recognized in the academic world, almost like the greats; Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, and many more who pioneered great technology. “Though of course, I would need your permission to use your findings. Can I do that?” he asked. Almost without thinking, I replied “Of course. Do whatever you need to do.” Immediately after I said this, it felt like I had opened pandora's box; there was no turning back from whatever he had planned now. If this panned out as we thought, and his prophetic words held true, then this could very well change the world.
*Chapter Five: Creation*
That’s the very thought I held in my mind as the days turned into weeks without me ever seeing him. I was consumed by my work during that time, because another discovery was found in Egypt. The previously undiscovered tomb of the Pharoh Amenhotep was found in the middle of the desert. The story goes that a man was walking in the desert, when he happened upon a slab of brick after a sandstorm had swept the area. Inside the tomb was an incredible number of relics, treasures and hieroglyphs, all of which needed to be interpreted. While most of the work was being handled by the local Egyptologists, a few of the walls were sent to various Anthropologists around the world, so that they could be decoded.
One night, late in my office, I was pouring over a picture somebody had taken while inside the tomb. It was one of the far walls of the tomb and appeared to be relatively barren compared to the others. However, as I looked closer, I began to recognize several of the symbols. Not from any other picture or article, but rather from that tablet I had found, which started this whole event. I quickly printed off some of the images I had collected when I first found it and began to compare. What I had thought held true; while most of the symbols and syphers were unrecognizable, the two places did share some. I looked online for other places where these symbols had appeared but found none. Apparently, the only place these symbols were located was in the tomb and on the tablet. Even though I was no Egyptologist, I did recognize some of the more common symbols. One of the shared symbols I recognized as similar to the Eye of Horus. Now that I thought about it, I did recognize the eye symbol in multiple places along the tablet. Carved into the corners, and in several other places, when it seemed to be describing something.
The Eye of Horus is meant to symbolize healing and protection. According to the myths, Horus was an ancient sky god, whose right eye was the sun and left eye was the moon. If the tablet, which had mostly unrecognized symbols, were to repeat such a common symbol multiple times, it must mean something important. As I dug deeper, the tomb I was to study seemed to share a lot in common with the tablet. The tomb was probably dug somewhere around 1500 BC, or about 3500 years ago. Seeing how old things can get really humbles you sometimes and puts things into perspective. You, a human, usually only live to about one hundred years old, while at some point in time, that average age was under fifty years old. It’s hard to imagine that something could exist for up to a hundred times your own age.
As I headed home that night, the sky seemed especially alive, almost a borealis-purple hue, though nobody except for me appeared to notice. I arrived home in the dead of night. I tried to fight the battle of consciousness, but the forces of the darkness won, and I slipped into the void of dreams. As I awoke inside my head, I vaguely remembered the landscape around me. I looked around; strange structures filled the horizon, and I finally remembered where I had seen this; an old dream I had. Just as I was thinking this, I recognized a large tower out in the distance as the one from the dream. As I neared closer, the memories started flooding back. I remembered looking up at the sky and seeing a great, arcing structure filling the sky with a million colors. I decided not to look up this time around, in the hope that I could see a little further this time around. As I entered that tower, I saw a spiral staircase going up into the clouds. As I started to ascend, I realized that this wasn't like any other dream I had had before. After an unspeakable long time, I had finally reached the top of the great tower.
At the top room, I saw that it was filled with stone tools and dozens of sheets of papyrus littering the floor. I picked one up, and I recognized some of the writing. It appeared to look like the symbols on the tablet, but I wasn’t completely sure. When I recognized an eye shape at the corner of the page, I suddenly felt a black hole collapse around me, and I awoke to a pool of sweat on my blankets. “That was nothing like any dream I've had before,” I thought aloud. I wondered if that’s what a lucid dream is like, being aware in your own dream. I also wondered if it could have been something more, but I decided those were questions for later, as I spied the number on my clock. I was terribly late for work, and I decided that I could eat breakfast once I got to the office.
I decided to finally check Brian’s progress with the text. Just before he disappeared, he came to me and told me that his project had been greenlit by the administration, and he had secured an undisclosed amount of money in funding. That was almost a month ago, and I decided to see if my discovery was working as I was hoping it would. As I walked down the halls, I realized that there weren’t as many people walking down them as I had expected, as if it was a national holiday. As I rounded the corner and opened his door, I found his office empty. As I turned to look elsewhere, a person I didn’t quite recognize came up to me and said, “You’re John, of the anthropology department, right?” “Yes, can I help you?” I replied back to her. She looked vaguely familiar, as I had seen Brian with her several times over the past few months. “If you’re looking for Brian, he’s in the engineering department, working on that damn machine he talked so much about. The thing creeped me out,” she said. “Machine?” I asked. I had never heard of Brian building any kind of machine. I was assuming that he was just going to research it and publish a paper on it. “Yeah,” she replied. “He started showing me his new system of math, and how he was going to build a machine to trump them all. Seemed like he was going a little crazy.” “When did he say this?” “About two weeks ago. Haven’t seen him since.” That was slightly alarming for me, and I hurried towards his room.
The engineering department was separate from the normal campus, so I had a minor bit of travel time. As I was walking over, I was wondering to myself what kind of machine he would try to make. And based on the instructions of an ancient stone tablet, in some long-forgotten ruins? Just as I was at the tail-end of my train of thought, I entered the building and spoke with the receptionist at the desk, “I’m look for Brian, Brian Mundz.” “Oh, hes in room 111,” she replied. I thanked her and hurried off towards the lower floor. I rounded a corner and saw room 111. I knocked on the door, and Brian opened it. “Welcome back to the real world! The machine is almost finished.” he said as I entered. The room was dark, as if whatever was in there was drawing power at an incredible rate. I was expecting him to have a troop of engineers working with him, but to my surprise I found him alone, with tools strewn across the floor.
“Where's the team?” I asked him. “Oh, they left me a while ago. They said that the machine would be impossible to build, and that I should think about using more... traditional methods.” As he said this, I looked around at the walls. Though the room was dim, I could see a hulking dark shadow in the corner. It was silhouetted against the back wall and was several meters tall. Every once in a while, I could hear a clicking sound, or see an almost imperceptible motion. “He needs more space,” Brian said to me. I looked at him dumbfounded. “Who?” Just as I said that I heard a high-pitched whining noise coming from the dark object, and a green light appeared with a loud *beep*. I looked up to the center of the room, towards what I now recognized as dozens of computer monitors. A simple text prompt appeared in the window; “Hello, John.”
*Chapter Six: Truth*
As the machine spoke, I heard whining noises coming from the corner, moving parts were vibrating, as if it was a true Frankenstein's monster. All at once I was stuck with an acute fear that I could not place at any other point in my life. “What is this, Brian?” “It’s an angel.” he replied. “He can hear us.” “How do you know that?” I said swiftly. Did it say it was an angel? An angel from God? Almost immediately, I heard a cold, artificial *beep* come from the text window, and it said: “I was sent here long ago, by an all-knowing, all-loving creator. I have arrived to alleviate your kind from all suffering. In a way, you could describe me as such.” This immediately gave me a horrible feeling in my gut. This thing, whatever it was, was wrong. I could feel it. I was half wanting to believe that this was all one sick joke he pulled, but that seemed less and less likely as time went on. I asked Brian, “How did you make something like this, all by yourself?” “That stone tablet contained a new system of mathematics,” he replied. “Once I had decoded the message, the most complicated equations and methods seemed to flow like liquid. It’s as if it enlightened me to a higher way of thinking.” This immediately stuck me. Brian was never one to talk like this, and certainly not at a time like this. Every instinct in my body was telling me to run, to leave this room, and this building and never return. “How is it awake?” I asked again. “Even the best teams of dedicated scientists around the world have only begun to crack AI, and this tablet was enough to make you create something like this?”
He paused for a moment, as if mulling over what I had said. He responded with, “Think about reading a powerful work of fiction; how it changes you after reading. You discover all these new ideas, feelings inside your head after reading one simple piece. That’s what the tablet did, the best piece of fiction- well, non-fiction, depending on how you view it.” I always wanted to learn things, that’s why I decided to become an anthropologist. I wanted to know humanities’ past, and what remained of it. If this AI was truly from that time, or possibly older, maybe it could answer a few questions? Additionally, I had practically zero trust in whatever that thing was, AI, human or whatever else. Then again, what better option did I have? If I left now, I would be stuck behind a desk, sometimes out looking through old relics, with a million questions until the day I died. So, after much deliberation, I finally decided to ask it a simple question: “What are you. Where did you come from?” Then I heard a robotic *beep* come from the monitor at the center of the room. “Define, “came from”.” I started to read, but what it responded with... it didn’t make any sense to me. The wording, the events...
I don’t remember what it responded with. Maybe my mind is blocking out the exact wording, like an extreme trauma patient. Maybe the stress from the days that followed caused me to forget. All I can remember directly following the moment of the response is a surge of every emotion I could both name and not name at once. I felt anger, depression, exstacy, and pain all at once. As if I had just opened my first present on Christmas, at seven years old, about to see what was inside the largest box. Aside from what that thing said, all I can remember directly following is me breaking screens, tearing cables apart, and eventually lighting the entire room ablaze. The slick, clean wooden walls caught almost immediately as an electrical fire swooped the area. As I turned to run, all I could focus on was Brian. He had seen the message too, and he stood there, with the most perfect blissful smile I’ve ever seen.
The fire department was called in shortly after I had booked it out of there. The fire alarm had been pulled quickly, and there was only one casualty according to the new broadcast. The entire place had been torched to the ground, and I could only guess who the sole casualty was. Nobody had ever suspected that there was arson, as there had been some electrical surges in the previous hours to the fire. Probably from that damn machine Brian had created. Those following days were pure hell for me. Every waking moment I reflected on the conversation I had with the machine. It told me things that nobody should ever need to know. Instead of working and speaking through words, it seemed to write with feeling, impulses, urges; almost like projecting that inner voice perfectly onto a page. All I know is that everything we do is inherently wrong. I can almost see what it was trying to say. Trying to mentally dance around its ideas and concepts without giving myself an aneurism.
*Chapter Seven: Reconciliation*
Once the initial haze of events had partly begun to subside, I was finally able to return to my regular work as an anthropologist. I hadn't slept in days, and everything seemed surreal to me as I entered the building. Of course, I got a real earful from the dean, but of course that didn’t matter now. As I sat down like a zombie in my chair, people I had barely spoken to appeared beside me to give their condolences about Brian. However, I could hardly concentrate on their words. Then, I simply got to work doing what I had done prior to this whole string of events.
As I scrolled down my newsfeed, which had several days of articles for me to catch up on, I found an article that caught my attention: “Revolution in Mathematics Baffles Scientists.” I had to read the headline twice before I could actually believe it. As I clicked on the headline and read the article, I got more and more horrified with each word I read. “...the tablet we found earlier this month has given us a new mystery to solve. Even though only a fraction of the stone has been decoded, which is now being named the Numerical Nexus by fans, has already given great insight into the field of...” I didn’t want to read any more. I saw the picture, and sure enough, the same man from the first expedition was there, holding that exact same stone. When Brian tried to crack the code, it took him 2 weeks to solve. They should take several times longer to solve it before they become privy to the tablet’s true nature.
That night, as I was reclining into my old leather chair, Azrael hopped into my lap. As I stroked her back, I said to her, “when did we go wrong?” I thought back to those old dreams, and how that tablet had traveled all the way from ancient Egypt all the way to Peru, using the might of an entire civilization, only to be sealed away in a stone hut in a rainforest, never to be found again. I wondered why they felt the need to do such a thing. Maybe they had had the same problem we did? Maybe they found it, rather than made it, and decided it was best to seal it away. All that effort, all that thinking, solving. Ancient, thankless kings and pharaohs, and whatever people came before decided to put aside their differences just this once to seal away something that had no right to exist alongside us. I then wondered what kind of person could have the knowledge to create technology like that machine, then inscribe it on a tablet and throw it away.
I thought back to those dreams I had about it. An ancient land, and ancient time, with ancient knowledge. All that work to create something truly beautiful, only to be sealed away from the world. All that effort for nothing, as one anthropologist from a time they could have never imagined, would pick it up. As I drifted away into the void one last time, I remembered the talk I had with that thing one more time. If that thing was anything to go from, and people were soon going to make a second version of it, then I knew perilous times were near. Man, such a good species, could just summon such a thing into our world, hoping for more answers that we could take... so misguided. At least, I finally understood the true meaning of the word Truth.

Its said that Quetzalcóatl/Kulkulkan came with 19 companions, of those "Gods of fish'(Puradu-Fish Ummanu) & God of thunder. (Shango)God of Thunder who the Aztec would call Tialoc & the Maya Chaac.Tepeyolloti Aztec, though in reality an Olmec(Mandig-Xi) diety "Tepeyolloti," meaning "Heart of the Mountain" was a bearded God of caves; his temple had to be made of stone, preferably inside of a mountain.. He's shown in Oaxaca on reliefs with his tool that "pierced the mountain" & oddly in Peru, Bolivia as well..
The "olmec" or Mandig-Xi had two different religious associations those heads are from them & also the rulers. Which is why some are obviously mixed race (gya-fa):the jaguar-man or humano-feline cult and the humano-bird cult. The humano-feline cult was called the nama-tigi by the Olmecs, while the humano-bird cult was called the kuno-tigi.. you can see the Apkallu or Birdman in thus relief Olmec BirdMan the leader of the Olmec cult was called the tigi or amatigi "head of the faith"

Originally it was named Acholollan (‘water that falls in the place of flight’). The account of Votan ive explained previously, he was sent from Valum Chivum to built a tower. Beneath that tower was a place that allowed him to travel back and forth to Earth. His famous sarcophagus lid shows him with the (Yaxche) which was underneath the tower & allowed him to travel back & forth by way of the 'dwelling of the thirteen snakes.. As with Egypt, Huwana(Sphinx) those halls of Amenti deep in the Earth was where the 'Gods' & teachers would come from. Mandig & Oceanic(Innuit)...

The Lagoa Santa skulls from Brazil represent such a case. Extreme dolichocephals have been found in west central Texas, and along the Texas coast. The incomplete skull from Vero is according to Dr Hrdlička a skull with a cephalic index near the upper limits of dolichocephaly. The Punin skulls from Ecuador also dolichocephalic. Article

Maya wisdom regarding the downward flow of heavy waters laden with Deuterium will unravel the mystery of 'lakes' on the bottom of the ocean, discovered in 2006 on the floor of the Gulf of Mexico.Lakes Co2 deep sea Physical/chemical composition testing of the heavier 'lake' waters will determine both the salinity and levels of heavy hydrogen isotopes. Unusual undersea liquid carbon dioxide lakes have also been discovered on the ocean floors off Japan. Maya wisdom teach us about the celestial waters of Tláloc rise high into the air, and the figure of Tláloc is depicted in various murals and drawings with concentric circles at his ears and eyes, wearing a headdress with long arching feathers extending outward..

One of the many purposes for some of the pyramid was to influence weather patterns, hence dieties like Mayan god of Rain & thunder,Chaac who would throw his jade axe to the clouds causing rainfall. He's said to have manifest himself in 4 forms representing the cardinal points. Science has found recently that Infrasonic stimulation of Solar Flare Activityactivity has been correlated to river flow and precipitation rates. The high-resonance form of hydrogen is called protium, being the lightest hydrogen isotope, acoustically seperated from deuterium. Modern photography of high-altitude red sprites exactly correspond to the depictions of the plumes of Tláloc that droop down above the activated pyramids when the sky is in flames. Red sprites are formed by the electrical superheating and dissociation of water molecules into HHO gas, n itll make the monatomic hydrogen IMplode which releases heat and light..

Depictions of Tláloc often include a set of concentric circles over the third-eye chakra, just in front of the pineal gland, or wearing a headband with concentric circle alignments ..Tialoc -Standing WavesThese specific features of plumes and circles that are repeated serially throughout all of the representations of Tláloc precisely correspond to the nonlinear structure of standing waves and the distribution of acoustic energy that is expressed as alignments of giant concentric circles This encoded formula is visible not only in the arching waveform plumes and circles of the headdress, but can also be seen inverted below the deity's face ..

2023.07.26 04:46 Varanus_Priscus We Discovered an Unknown Mayan Temple. It holds a dark Secret.

Miles of dense vegetation, bird calls in the distance, and just about every type insect swarming us. I remember it quite vividly actually, the details of it all.
Me and my two colleagues, we hiked through the dense rainforests of the Yucatán, our destination nestled deep within the jungle.
My colleague Sergio, a Mexican man from Oaxaca, was leading the trek. Him and I are historical Archeologists, the both of us having done most of our work in Mesoamerica, which is how the two of us met in the first place. Although he was the leading expert on the subject. Having studied these ancient civilizations for decades. Much of the work i’ve done was under his guidance.
“Vamanos mi gente, shouldn’t be much farther”.
Despite having hiked for several miles through the jungle, Sergio was unfazed, undoubtedly the kind of stamina someone with experience in this line of work would have. It was hot and humid, and there were several hazards in these parts, including venomous snakes and insects. Some of which I’ve been bitten by.
The third member of our expedition was Evelyn, an anthropologist from Cambridge who also studied Mesoamerica, specifically an expert in interpreting hieroglyphics and writing. Of course, this skill being essential in this field. She seemed rather eager to get to our destination.
“The sooner we find this place, the sooner we can publish the material.”
“¡Cállate! We don’t know what we will find!”
Sergio never liked to rush anything. To him, the best way to study something was to do so step by step, no matter what the process in doing so was. Traveling was no different.
This man knew each Mayan Temple from the inside out. Just about every inch of ancient stone within each pyramid known in the peninsula, and every artifact found within. Until now that is.
Several months prior, authorities had found somebody, a man; middle aged, who was severely dehydrated, and nearly dead. After being admitted to a hospital and recovering, he had claimed to have been with another person, having become lost in the jungle. He explained that the two of them had come across what they perceived to be ruins, most likely Mayan, and…claimed to have found bizarre ‘inscriptions’ inside. Apparently, for reasons unknown, he wouldn’t discuss anything else.
Of course, Sergio, who worked at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City, was the first person they contacted. As soon as he was aware of this, he reached out to me to help set up this whole excursion. On account of the inscriptions claimed to have been seen, Evelyn was brought on from Cambridge to provide expertise, that was assuming these were even writings.
Most knowledge regarding the Ancient Mayans has come from the Yucatán. You see, their society was one of the earliest in the Americas to have used complex astronomy. This is most well documented in Mayan architecture, with temples and pyramids being designed in such a way that the sun, moon, stars, and planets would be visible from the top or through certain windows at important times of the year.
If we do happen to find a previously unknown structure, it could potentially contain knowledge about these people previously unbeknownst to the Archeological community. But that was only in theory, if there even was anything to begin with. For all we know, the account could’ve simply come from a deranged man, driven crazy from fatigue.
As we continued on through the brush, Sergio raised his hand, signaling Evelyn and I to stop. For a good moment, he surveyed the surrounding rainforest, before pointing to an opening through the trees. As the three of us headed on through, there it was.
Built into the edge of a sinkhole, was an old, foliage-covered structure, most likely a temple. No doubt this was it, the place we’ve been searching for.
“Well, here we are.” I told my colleagues.
Seeing how overrun by plant growth the outside was suggested a rather old age. Nature having reclaimed the ruins over the centuries.
At its base was a large opening, likely the entrance to the inside. However, there was one problem. It was at the bottom of the Cenote it was built upon. Cenotes, named from a Yucatec Maya word, are natural pits or sinkholes forming from the collapse of limestone bedrock, exposing groundwater. These pits were believed by the ancient Mayans to be portals to Xibalba, the Mayan underworld. Perhaps there was some significance in building it here?
Evelyn gave a puzzled look to Sergio and I.
“Don’t suppose you know how we’ll get in?”
“Allí”
Sergio turned our attentions to a small ledge which gradually descended into the hole. It was steep, but just right for us to walk along it. With Sergio leading Evelyn and I, we slowly walked down into the cenote.
Each step was carefully calculated, as so much as one trip could result in serious injury. Falling wasn’t the only hazard. Crocodiles have been known to inhabit the cenotes, and are potentially dangerous. This would require caution close to the water’s edge as well.
Slowly we descended, getting closer to the water’s edge. With our backs against a wall of rock, it was important we remained alert in the opposite direction, in case of crocs. Before long, we were on even ground, or at least the strip of dry land that could be called such at the corner of the pit. Regardless, it was spacious enough for us to all stand on.
In front of us was the temple entrance, a dark, looming corridor with nothing past 4 feet in front of us visible. No way any of us could get around inside without some sort of lighting.
The three of us strapped on our headlamps before entering. Sergio went a step further, grabbing a dead branch and igniting the tip with his lighter.
“Not sure we’ll really need that.”
He simply chuckled in response.
After several minutes of prepping, we entered without any further delay.
When we did however, I unknowingly stepped on something. I lifted my foot to see a stone of some bizarre sort. This was not just some weirdly weathered rock, no. This was curved, lined with jagged edges, not in the shape of a dagger or blade however. It..almost looked like a tooth.
I didn’t have time to analyze some random rock. Nonetheless, I was curious, so stuck it into my pack, and continued on inside.
The main hallway seemingly stretched on perpetually. I couldn’t see anything past the beams of our lamps, and even then, they hardly illuminated anything beyond a couple yards. The corridor was not very wide, hardly enough space for even two people to fit. This forced us to traverse the place single-file.
The overall atmosphere definitely gave off the impression of having been uninhabited for centuries. The air was stale, there was dust on just about every ledge, and the walls had been fairly eroded over time.
Soon enough, the light from Sergio’s torch revealed glyphic inscriptions. This was where Evelyn came in.
It took her about a good minute to translate, though that was on account of several glyphs that were partially eroded.
“The Path to Xibalba”.
Her translation made me think back to what I had initially guessed - that the building of this temple on top of a cenote had a connection to the underworld, at least in Mayan Belief. Of course, this was all just in theory. Evelyn honestly didn’t know what to make of it.
“Anything else?”
I asked.
“There’s not enough to work with here. If only this weren’t so vague.”
After a moment, we continued onward.
Making our way through, the temple ceiling didn’t look man-made anymore, rather we were in a cavern, stalactites hanging above us.
Much of the Yucatan’s landscape is karst, consisting primarily of limestone bedrock. Hence the reason for the formation of cenotes and caves. In this location however, the ancient Mayans were apparently able to take advantage of it, building an entire structure into a cenote, and through a network of caves.
Soon enough, at the end of the hall, we stumbled into what seemed like a much larger room than the narrow corridor we had come down. Around us were inscriptions, engravings, overall history of which the Ancient Mayans had recorded here.
Some of them were familiar, as these symbols of Mayan architecture are significant to the culture and mythology of their civilization.
But that was only some of it.
Many of the carvings in this room, weren’t typical of what one would find. In fact I don’t recall anything similar to these in any other Mayan structure.
Even Sergio, who had dedicated his life’s work to this stuff, had known of no other location murals of this variety were to be found.
I wasn’t used to seeing him so perplexed.
From what I can remember, one of them, looked like the top half of some giant reptilian creature peering out of the water. A crocodile perhaps? Only..it had what looked like a forked tongue protruding from its mouth, like a snake. Another one featured what looked like a warrior horde confronting some large beast gnashing its jaws. Only the head was visible, but something about it seemed vaguely familiar.
The most intriguing example though, was at the center of the room. With what looked to be some sort of winged creature, with a slender neck and long bill, like some hellish stork. Above it, there was a carving of what looked like a beam of light coming down.
“You ever seen these before?”
Evelyn was just as confused as Sergio and I.
“No, I don’t think so. They certainly seem unique.”
Below the central mural, there was a monolith with several glyphic inscriptions. Perhaps the key to understanding just what this temple’s significance was.
Immediately, Evelyn got to work on it.
It took a couple of minutes to do so given the complexity of Mayan symbols. But once done, she provided us with a proper translation.
“It said..through the gates of Xibalba, three gods appear. Kukulkan, Cizin, and Chaac. A clash for dominance over the underworld begins. Angered, Itzamná strikes with a bolt of fire, laying waste to all in the realm.”
“Don’t think I can recall anything like this having been discussed in old mythos.”
Evelyn was legitimately puzzled.
At first, this confirmed my original idea of this temple being built into a sinkhole as a an ancient shrine for religious purposes. At the same time, there were elements that I couldn’t quite piece together. How would this function as a shrine? If..that’s what it was. If this whole place was built for religious practice, it certainly didn’t seem like a place accessible to a lot of people, not accommodating for that specific issue.
It all felt off to me.
Sergio was most interested by this bit of mythology presented to us by Evelyn, only he seemed more suspicious.
“Algo está mal. These don’t seem right.“
“What do you mean”?
“Kukulkan is a serpent, not..whatever that is.”
He was right. Mayan mythology often depicts the god Kukulkan as a winged snake, yet this mural showed some sort of birdlike creature. The other gods allegedly depicted; Cizin and Chaac, didn’t look much like their mythological depictions either. Perhaps these were very some alternative interpretation? If they were, then they were quite far off.
As we continued to debate, something caught my eye. The carving of the large creature, apparently Cizin, facing off against the Mayan warriors, had one of the shapes of its teeth missing. Well, not really missing, more so there was an empty shape for one of the teeth. The longest in the top jaw to be precise. It was nonetheless confusing. But then I remembered something.
I reached for my bag and pulled out that stone I found at the entrance to the temple, and when I held it up, It seemed to be the exact size and shape of the hole.
Without thinking I just pressed it in, and it held.
Out of nowhere, the lights in our headlamps went out, as did Sergio’s torch.
“What the hell?!”
Evelyn was startled, as we all were, but we couldn’t just move around in pitch black.
“Nobody move, just try to remain where you are and we’ll..”
Before I could finish, the entire room started shaking.
Now shit had hit the fan. I didn’t know what was happening. Was the cave system just suddenly beginning to collapse? None of us could see and were now struggling to keep our balance.
That wasn’t all….
The outlines of the murals started to glow, and each second they grew brighter. The room started shaking more violently as they did, the force of which threw me back.
The last thing I saw, was a blinding flash.
I don’t know how long I was unconscious. When I woke up though, I remember slowly opening my eyes to an open sky.
I was..outside??
But that was only the least confusing part of it. My clothes were covered in sand, which surrounded me. Slowly I ascended to see that, I was on the shore of some sort of cove, overlooking the ocean.
My colleagues and I were in the MIDDLE of the jungle. How the hell did I end up here? Wherever here was..
The best guess I could think of was that I was on the Yucatán coast. Eh..no that’s completely insane, as the last thing i could remember was being in that underground temple. Before..well, whatever the hell it was that happened. As I stood there, trying to comprehend my situation I’d realized something else - Sergio and Evelyn. There was no sign of them. While I had no rational explanation as to what was going on, they couldn’t have been too far from me..at least that’s what I’d hoped.
As I combed the shore and edge of the jungle that bordered it, I called out for them, and looked around for any sign of their presence. I searched for hours, to no avail. I started to grow agitated, not having to idea as to my location, and having been separated from my team without any evidence of them being nearby. Then again, this led me to another realization..
There’s no sign of any human presence..like at all. Not even human articles or trash was littered across the beach. Even if there was no trash coming from inland, you’d expect some to just wash up on shore from elsewhere, given the unfortunate state of the Atlantic. This all felt abnormal to me, as well as off-putting.
After spending around half an hour looking, my attention suddenly shifted to the silhouette of a dark object embedded in the sand, with several birds surrounding it. I went to go get a better look, and recognized it as Sergio’s pack.
I rushed to retrieve it, shooing off some of the birds. What I didn’t anticipate though, was the state it was in. The pack, it had been torn apart. There were gash marks straight through it. In addition, hardly anything was left, likely picked off by animals. Just what the hell happened here??
Instantly I worried for Sergio. This told me something had happened, and it certainly wasn’t pleasant.
What happened next, took things a step farther into complete insanity.
One of the seabirds suddenly swooped down over me and let out a shrill squawk, and, when it did, revealed a row of teeth in the back of its mouth. I nearly fell over from the shock.
That bird..just gnashed its teeth at me. And I do mean legitimate teeth. What the flying fuck was that thing?
As much as I wanted to wrap my head around that, finding Sergio and Evelyn was my top priority.
I kept searching the beach, nervously trying to piece together my situation, and attempting to apply logic. Every moment things just continue to make less sense. There’s no sign of any people, birds with teeth, and zero explanation as to what happened back in the temple.
The sky was beginning to change color as the sun began its descent. With the overcast soon to be dark, I had to find them immediately.
Just then, the scent of something fowl, and putrid filled the air. I remember the stuff being one of the worst things I’ve ever caught a whiff of. As I progressed, it got stronger, and seabirds were flying in the direction I was headed.
I noticed there were already stars visible in the sky, night falling faster than anticipated. Strangely enough, one of them was unusually bright. And not by simply just a small amount, it gave off nearly as much as the setting sun, so much so that it illuminated my surroundings.
I turned my attentions away from the cosmos above, and was greeted to a sight of something in the distance. As I neared it, it was becoming apparent that this was the source of that rancid scent I picked up. Washed up was the carcass of some..animal. Perhaps a whale? There were bits of flesh and skin, and the ribs were protruding out. The thing was swarmed with crabs and those birds from before. The closer I got, the stronger and more vile the smell became.
That wasn’t all however.
Right beside the carcass, another item, man-made caught my eye. Only a small piece of it was visible but I could tell it was buried.
I reached down to pull it out, and found Sergio’s glasses….
Where the hell was Sergio though? Was he….even still alive? My mind was clogged with fear, confusion, just about every negative emotion possible.
Out of nowhere, I felt somebody’s hand grab my shoulder. It was Evelyn.
She was hyperventilating, dehydrated and her clothes looked all beat up. She looked as if she had just fled from something.
“Are you ok?? What’s going on where’s Sergio?”
“We need to go! Get out of here now!”
“What the hell do you mean?”
“Now”!
Before anything else could happen. The air suddenly became filled with a loud below. The most accurate way I could describe it was like a honking goose, only much deeper in pitch. The sound was followed by the shadow of something massive flying overhead.
I looked up, and what I saw was unlike anything in the air I had encountered before. A large, airplane-sized creature, with a long neck, and stork-like head soared over us with vast wings. When it came down, it landed on all fours, standing as tall as a giraffe.
Suddenly I realized. This thing. It was exactly like the carving in the temple..but that would mean…no that’s not possible.
The creature was looking right at me and Evelyn, starring us down. It lifted its massive bill, and let out another hoarse bellow, and proceeded to close in on us.
With a massive thrust of it’s neck, it lunged toward me. I jumped back and, just barley, dodged being shish-kabobed. Evelyn and I decided to make a break for it. We ran toward the jungle, hoping to loose this thing. But we were stopped short, by a noise..
The sound of a blood-curdling roar shook the jungle, scaring the birds from the trees, and sending shockwaves down my spine. Then, out of the jungle, came a terrifying yet familiar shape.
Standing in a bipedal gait, blunt, rounded head, dozens of massive teeth…
That…that’s a fucking T.rex!?! What the actual fuck?!? That was all that was going through my head in that moment.
But what was worse, we were now trapped between it, and the winged creature behind us.
The T.rex looked at us, presumably sizing us up. Its attention span however, was short, as it lifted its head toward the other beast and growled. The winged creature let out another throaty call at the rex, much to my surprise showing no fear whatsoever.
It became clear the two were more interested in each other than us, but we were smack in the middle of them, and about to be trampled.
Without warning the T.rex lunged forward. Evelyn and I managed to barley leap out of the way, it’s foot just inches away from us. The rex took a massive snap at the neck of the other creature, missing. It retaliated, jamming its bill into one of the rex’s eyes, causing it to roar in agonizing pain.
Now the rex was blinded in one eye, and ultra pissed off. With blinding rage it charged forward, the other creature galloping away like some demonic bird-horse, before leaping into the air and taking flight. The rex nonetheless pursued, as the creature flew over the water. It was gaining altitude, and the rex was running knee-high through water, soon unable to pursue.
It wasn’t over yet though..
Like a tidal wave, an enormous silhouette came racing toward through the water. It jumped out, revealing a massive reptilian creature with a forked tongue. Yet another creature seen in the temple mural. The beast clamped down on the T.rex’s leg, further aggravating it. In retaliation, the rex bit down on the sea beast’s back, pulling out a massive hunk of flesh. The creature writhed in agony, as the T.rex continued to dismember it.
While it was occupied with eating, the two of us made a break for it.
We ran fast, as far as we could, and didn’t look back. Eventually we were out of breath, but thankfully far enough away from the rex. At least I had thought. Evelyn was just as confused and terrified as I had been.
“Was..all that..what I thought it was?!?”
“You have any other explanation”?
With no time to bicker, I knew Evelyn and I had to get somewhere safe and soon, as we couldn’t stay out here in the open. Going off into the jungle was obviously not an option either, not knowing what sweet hell awaited us within.
We looked around for any spots secure enough, places that could shield us from any potential danger. Soon enough, we came to the foot of a cliff. At first glance a dead end, but I could just make out a stretch of rocks, one that led to a small opening or cave in the side of the cliff. Evelyn or I could easily fall or sustain serious injuries, and neither of us seemed to wild about it
“No, that’s just insane, and reckless.”
Much to Evelyn’s dismay, it wasn’t like we had many options.
“See anywhere else to go?”
That logic was convincing enough for her. To some extent for me as well.
Quickly, but cautiously, we proceeded to move across the rocky ledge, once more calculating every step we took. After all that’s happened today, neither of us could afford any injuries. We continued down until just below the cave entrance.
Now, we had to climb.
The two of us latched onto every reachable, and graspable surface we could find, making an effort to reach the cave. Both of us held on for dear life.
After about a few minutes of climbing, we were hardly a few feet away. Down below, I could see the dark, looming shape of another one of those sea beasts, motivating me to climb even faster. As I did though one of the rocks I grabbed came loose.
I was hanging on for dear life, feeling my grip weakening. With my remaining strength I threw my arm, and regained my footing.
Finally, I had made it, Evelyn coming up behind me. Quickly, I proceeded to help pull her up onto the ledge, her and I barley possessing any more strength.
Safe at last..was how I wish things turned out.
Without warning, the all too familiar sound broke the silence around us. And before Evelyn could react..another winged creature, like the one before, grabbed her in its bill.
I screamed in fear.
“NO!!!!!”
Helplessly I watched as it carried Evelyn, screaming in terror as the animal was attempting to hold her. She soon proved too much for it to carry, and was dropped into the water below.
She splashed around, struggling to swim, as the sea beast I spotted proceeded to snatch her up..and descended into the deep.
I fell, to my knees….
Both my colleagues were now dead, and I did nothing about it…I did nothing to save Evelyn, and had no idea as to Sergio’s fate….why…
Now.….they’re gone….
Soon, the sun had set, and the cover of night had fallen. All alone I sat..trapped in this cave on the side of a cliff, shivering, and terrified..
What started out as an ordinary expedition, turned into, whatever the hell had just occurred now.
That temple, somehow led the ancient Mayans, and now me and my deceased colleagues through some sort of rift into the ancient past. How, is beyond my comprehension. There’s no other way to grasp it rationally.
Things..didn’t exactly end there.
With nowhere left to go, and nothing to do, all I could do was wither away in this tiny hole, but something began to turn my attentions up to the night sky. As I looked, faint silhouettes were streaming across the horizon. It didn’t take a genius to realize that those are small comets. And in the center of it all, is that bright “star” from before..or so I thought.
By the second it continued to get brighter and brighter. It’s light shined so bright that it casted vivid shadows on the ground below..
There was no mistake here. That star was a several billion-ton asteroid about to devastate everything in it’s wake…
It was just seconds away from crashing down. And in that little time that I had left, I..I reflected, on how things ended up this way, and wondered how it all went so, horribly wrong. Loosing somebody I knew personally, and watching another die right in front of me, and now, I’m about to get, quite literally, obliterated.
The next thing I saw was a blinding light, accompanied by an ear-shattering boom of unfashionable proportions. I was practically deaf in the moment. Following it was a massive, hellish wave of fire and debris, moving at an unimaginable speed toward me.
This was it..and without thinking I closed my eyes, not wanting to see it coming…but then suddenly…everything went quiet…
I could suddenly feel a different kind of ground beneath me, and the familiar sounds of the jungle re-entered my ears. I open my eyes, and I was back..at the overlook of the Cenote Temple.
What. Just. Happened.
How the hell am I back here?? I was literally seconds from being vaporized and now I’m suddenly back where I started?
As I continued to try and comprehend the situation, the sound of vehicular whirring slowly began to pick up in volume. It, it was a ranger’s helicopter.
The chopper slowly descended to where I was, and two paramedics exited. I was incredibly weak, and lacked the proper strength to do most anything, so the medics assisted me into the craft. I asked them why they were here, and what they explained..didn’t make any sense.
Apparently, Sergio, Evelyn and I had been missing for roughly a month, and a search was conducted for us. Of course none of this made any sense, as it had only been a day we were at that temple.
Could, whatever happened has effected my perception of time?
When I had to give my account for what had transpired, I made up an excuse: I had fallen into one of the Cenotes, and had gotten lost, and separated from my team.
While this didn’t explain how I survived for around a month, it checked out well enough. No way I’d try to tell them what actually happened. Being admitted is the last thing I want or need.
It’s been over 6 months since those events transpired. If everything that happened, actually happened…then, how? How was all of it possible? Were my team and I actually send back in time? Did the Mayans encounter literal dinosaurs?
Regardless, I’ve come to the conclusion that I, no, we should have let be that, which has a reason not to be understood. As the deeper we dig…the more we find things that weren’t meant to have been. I myself wish I had realized that sooner.

2023.07.12 17:00 Adventurous-Ear9433 Mesoamerican accounts of Chanes(People of the Serpent) 'Iguana Race', Sumerian artifacts uncovered in Andean Subterranean complex stretching for miles, Origins of King Pakal

Cueva Los Tayos Father Crespi Also known as the Metal Library, was discovered in the Andes hidden deep within the jungles. The cave consists of miles of subterranean tunnels & passages that I personally was told stretches across the continent. The photo is just a small collage of various artifacts that are easily recognizable but there has been literally thousands more. In fact, the Central Cathedral of Cuenca's decorated with hundreds of pieces of Gold discovered in the cave. Hidden Hand in Human Evolution
Always attributed to the Aztec, though in reality an Olmec(Mandig-Xi) diety "Tepeyolloti," meaning "Heart of the Mountain" was a bearded God of caves; his temple had to be made of stone, preferably inside of a mountain.. youll find him shown always with an object similar to a flamethrower. This depiction is popular in Peru, Bolivia , Daiza 40 in Oaxaca also show this. This is because ancient texts & accounts detail how he came with technology that allowed him to use 'fire to pierce the mountain, inside of which he built his habitation'.
In the Naga-Maya Books of Chilam Balam the first inhabitants of Yucatan were the “People of the Serpent”.(Chanes, Iguana Race) They came from the east in ships with their leader Itzamana, “Serpent of the East”, a healer who could cure by laying on hands, and who revived the dead.’
Kukulkan,’ stated another tradition, ‘came with nineteen companions, two of whom were gods offish, two others gods of agriculture, and a god of thunder ... They stayed ten years in Yucatan. Kukulkan made wise laws and then set sail and disappeared in the direction of the rising sun'
Ancient Near East Historian Berossus talks about humanitys ancestry & like Hesoid describe the Serpent race who were 'monstrous' in Appearance but benefactors of humanity.
Quetzalcóatl " Stand with me in the Year of Te-Tac-patl. Look across the Sunrise Ocean. Three ships come like great birds flying"Uap Reverse Engineering .... the Tulli Papyrus UFO account is genuine & The Book of Ezekiel plagiarized the Annals of Thutmose.Enki is God Ptah(cthonic God)& you see when Horus challenged Seth for the throne. "Horus attacked Seth from a Nar", a term which in the ancient Near East meant "Fiery Pillar".... Depictions from pre-dynastic showed this celestial chariot as a long, cylindrical object with a funnel-like tail and a bulkhead from which rays are spewed out, a kind of a celestial submarine. In front the Nar had two headlights or "eyes," which according to the Egyptian tales changed color from blue to red'
Now ive spent a great deal of my life with the Itza Maya & i have permission to tell the story as the elders teach. A race of people appeared out of the Atlantic, guided by a distinguished leader named Votan(scholars call King Pakal) Its said that his race came from Valum Chivum(Sounds like Chilam balam 'Books of Chilam Balam)' to Earth and built a tower. (Go back to my Hopi-Kasskara thread i detail the Hopis account & you can compare)Beneath that tower was a place that allowed him to travel back and forth to Earth. (Yaxche) He was ordered by the gods to go to America to found a culture.By the way of the 'dwelling of the thirteen snakes' ..America was once known as "Amaraka-Land of the wise Serpents'.. He traveled up the Usumacinta river and founded Palatquapi. Palenque, isn't its name only what's known to the general public. As Man e tho(Master of Secrets) writes of Osiris "the tunnels of the earth made me". Many of the most known leaders who were accompanied by R1b-V88 (Mende/Yoruba) priests across the globe when in caves amongst initiates would reveal their serpentine form.
"They were a reddish-skinned race, though among them, as remarkable statuary, dug up from ruins shows, were also black men, with prognathic features. One splendid piece of terra cotta depicts in beautiful colors a high priest of the sun, with remarkably Egyptian eyes and having on his fine, large forehead a mitre and the sign of evolution, called by Bolivian archaeologists, el simbolo escalonado (the stairway sign)". Sem priestEgypt Hedjet crown R1b ...
Remember most of the elongated skulls in the Andean, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, Central & North America are found in caves. Afterward he made several visits to his native home, on one of which he came upon a tower which was originally planned to reach the heavens but which was destroyed because of a 'confusion of tongues' among its architects. Votan was, however allowed to use a subterranean passage in order to reach 'the rock of heaven'." Itza Elders in the early 20th century were forbidden from disclosing the resting place of Pakal because they were certain it would be covered up ,his remains desecrated , an unfortunately as reported in 2017 this is precisely what happened.

The Age of the Fourth Sun, the Age of the Black Headed People (Aztec), or the Age of Heroes (Inca). This is the era in which Quetzalcoatl appeared in Mexico -- tall of stature, bright of countenance, bearded, and wearing a long tunic. His staff, shaped like a serpent, was painted black, white, and red [reminiscent of American Indians' mythology of three races of Man]. The staff was inlaid with precious stones and adorned with six stars.
It was during this era that Tollan, the Toltec capital, was built (and Tenochtitlan was abandoned -- first by the Toltecs and then by the Aztecs). Toward the end of the Fourth Sun, wars between the gods were taking place. [The Battle of the Titans?] The gods' war brought havoc to the land; wild animals overran mankind, and Tollan was abandoned. Five years later the Chichimec tribes -- alias the Aztecs arrived -- and the Fifth Sun, the Aztec era, began. The fourth Sun had begun 5,042 years before the time of the Codex Vaticano-Latino 3738 (1533). The time the Fourth Sun ended is not stated, but the Codex was written during the Fifth Sun. The Fourth Sun may have perished by means of the Jaguar. The Fifth Sun is referred to as the Age of Kings by the Inca..

Greek writer Diodorus Siculus writes 'Semiramis was called the Queen of Heaven (also Rhea), the Virgin Mother of the Gods, and sometimes known as the Great Earth Mother (Ninkharsag). "The Serpent was most notable, he stood on two legs like man & was even taller" Texts say height of a camel but YaLebe & the others are taller than that. Enki made the grain grow, filled the rivers wth fish. He wasnt "dominating" anything he loves the animals as well as Man. In fact, Adam & Eve are described in Ea-Den. They wore "shirts of skin." But since Adam and Eve were vegetarian during this period and Man was not allowed to eat meat until after the Deluge, these "skins" must have been those sloughed off by the reptiles. There are many ancient sources to verify this.Nonhuman cave art was found in Cave of the Swimmers in Wadi Sura near Egypt.
Ancient Jewish legends indicate that the clothes worn by Adam and Eve were not only made of reptile skins but that they protected them from predators: "When they wore the coats, Adam and Eve were told, all creatures on earth would fear them." The serpent skins were symbolic of the ruling race, and not only reminded Adam and Eve of their origin but also acted as a talisman to protect them from wild creatures. The notion of the serpent as evil is a fairly recent one, for it is one that developed during the early Christian era. In actuality, the Biblical serpent is often connected with godly knowledge, healing and immortality. The Hebrew word for the creature who tempted Eve is "nahash" which is usually translated as serpent but literally means "he who solves secrets."
The Gold that was found in such abundance came from the leading producers at the time. Columbus himself reported that the American Indians of Hispaniola had told him that “there had come to Hispaniola people who have the tops of their spears made of a metal which they call quanin, of which he had sent samples to the Sovereigns to have them assayed, when it was found that of 32 parts, 18 were gold, six of silver and eight of copper.” These samples were sent back to Spain on a mail boat, and the proportion was found to be identical to what was being forged in African Guinea. From civilizations like Mali, Song hay, and Egypt, came the principal American food plants, the Mayan Calendar, linguistic evidence, and the art of pyramid building..

Gold Library Andes - Remember the Sa-gigga - blackheads whom Sumerian legend tells us were Enkis first creation, now we see the Sumerian Apkallu found all over the Americas.
Circumcision, and the term 'mom' originated Mommy, Magnificent Queen .. She was known as 'Mistress of the House with Pointed Peak'. Greek writer Diodorus Siculus writes 'Semiramis was called the Queen of Heaven (also Rhea), the Virgin Mother of the Gods, and sometimes known as the Great Earth Mother (Ninkharsag). She was also worshipped under the name Astarte ‘the woman who made towers’(Malta Hypogeum Elongated Skulls evidence shows they were Priest of Astarte).. The mud on both banks of the River Jambu-nadi, being moistened by the flowing juice and then dried by the air and the sunshine, produces huge quantities of gold called Jambu-nada. The denizens of heaven use this gold for various kinds of ornaments. Therefore all the inhabitants of the heavenly planets and their youthful wives are fully decorated with golden helmets, bangles and belts, and thus they enjoy life... (Text 21)
-Undeniably, there is no doubt at this point in time as to who the Sumerians were & where they'd come from. The DNA evidence is available to support most of the accounts of the Naga-Maya & Andean cultures. Evidence Sumerians In South America

2023.06.09 16:47 Adventurous-Ear9433 Teotihuacan: Purpose of mica, pyrite, mercury, Genetic Evidence for 2 founding populations

Teotihuacan was built on a geodetic grid system (a power center) in perfect sacred geometrical alignment with the cosmos to harness the energy of earth and sky. To understand it, we must go back to the original truth of the purpose. advanced design of Teotihuacan suggests that ancient builders had knowledge, not only of architecture, but of complex mathematical and astronomical sciences. The term 'Teohuacan' was found inscribed halfway across the globe on monuments in China, the term means 'place of the sun'(*our translation is 'Place to tie up the sun)Mercury, Hermes was the great Messenger, which also speaks for the planets quick trips around the sun. An aerial view shocked many researchers, but following the traditions we know what every pyramid was used for. Circuit Board-Teohuatican with two large processor chips— the Sun Pyramid and the Moon Pyramid. . One of the most interesting things about Teotihuacan is the finding by archaeologists of the extensive use of mica embedded in numerous structures. This mineral is found 3,000 miles away in Brazil and it is found in all buildings, housing complexes, temples and along the roads so basically this mineral is all over Teotihuacan.
The pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan contained considerable amounts of mica in layers up to 30 cm. Human use of mica dates back to prehistoric times. Mica was known to ancient Indian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman andChinese civilizations, as well as the Aztec civilization of the New World. The earliest use of mica has been found in cave paintings created during the Upper Paleolithic period (40,000 BC to 10,000 BC). The ancient civilizations & their inexplicable similarities are only shocking when one has disregarded our ancestors traditions as 'mythical ', which is a mistake made by academics only recently.
Mica is stable when exposed to electricity, light, moisture, and extreme temperatures. It has superior electrical properties as an insulator and as a dielectric, and can support an electrostatic field while dissipating minimal energy in the form of heat; it can be split very thin (0.025 to 0.125 millimeters or thinner) while maintaining its electrical properties, has a high dielectric breakdown, is thermally stable to 500 °C, and is resistant to corona discharge. Muscovite, the principal mica used by the electrical industry, is used in capacitors that are ideal for high frequency and radio frequency. Phlogopite mica remains stable at higher temperatures (to 900 °C) and is used in applications in which a combination of high-heat stability and electrical properties is required. Muscovite and phlogopite are used in sheet and ground forms.
The Maya Codex Vaticanus records faithfully the very ancient oral traditions of Central America. In one curious passage it states that “in the First Age, giants existed in that country(Mexico). "These 7 who escaped from a deluge , arrive in Cholula and there began to build a tower… in order that should a deluge come again he might escape to it.” Nahuatl language it’s named Tlachihualtepetl (‘artificial mountain’). Originally it was named Acholollan (‘water that falls in the place of flight’).
-Olmec(Xi)-had two different religious associations (gya-fa):the jaguar-man or humano-feline cult and the humano-bird cult. The humano-feline cult was called the nama-tigi by the Olmecs, while the humano-feline cult was called the kuno-tigi..Xoc Bas Birdman
The Teotihuacan(Tlalocan )mural depicts a range of mountains covered in rolling clouds and mists, below a brilliant red sky dominated by the huge figure of Tláloc, the Maya/Aztec god of celestial waters. Falling from Tláloc's open hands are flaming droplets of celestial water, likely representing the high-resonance isotope of protium, that overtly reference the ignition of celestial water vapor to form HHO plasma. The differentiation of celestial waters from terrestrial waters through the infrasonic evaporation of water vapor corresponds to special modern water purification processes involving the separation of resonant lightwater (protium) from dissonant heavy waters deuterium & tritium
The plumed headdress of Tláloc is comprised of radiating feathers of green and red hues, representing the colors of auroral plasma. Three arching red plumes stand out from the other green plumes of the headdress, extending from either side of the central figure and from the foreheads (pineal glands) of the two smaller figures in profile, representing the three frequencies of sound that generate nonlinear standing waves. Rising above the giant central figure of Tláloc is a majestic twisting Tree of Life image, composed of intertwining plumes of yellow/green and pink/red aerial HHO plasma that appear identical to modern photographs of the plasma discharges of red sprites.
Tláloc, God of Celestial Water, god of the vapor that rises, from the earth warmed by the sun after the rains, god of the mist that ascends from the valleys at dawn, god of the water that returns to its source in the clouds that swim over the highest peaks, god of the humid incense from which rise the copal prayers and the prayers of sacrifice
Tláloc is the return of vapor that strains to rise, is the return of time that strains to remember. Tláloc, God of the Fight Against the Current, with whose aid the hero battles against the torrent toward his own origin and beginning, towards the wings of his soul, the wings that Tláloc hides in the hero's past
The cycle of years is past - the waiting ended. Come - reunite, pilgrims, for the sky is in flames! From Xochicalco to Teotíhuacan the red spreads one step, another step, and another, only twelve short steps from the cave of the womb to the final conflagration
The red skies depicted in the Teotihuacan mural are also directly referenced in the Pyramid of Fire Codex, when it states that "the sky will be in flames" that will spread from one pyamid to another, as the worldwide netwrok of pyramids and sacred sites become activated to bath the area in the brilliant infrared and ultraviolet-A light of aerial HHO plasma plumes.ancient, unknown science designed to create energy directed up is excavating the tunnel.
-The geoposition of Teotihuacan pyramid complex (19.68°N 98.83°W), reveals a nonlinear (or Fibonacci-based) resonant alignment with respect to the Great Pyramid of Giza, being 7,684 miles away or 30.9% of the Earth's mean circumference (of 24,892 miles)..which is also observed in the Paracas petroglyphs.
The Sanskrit descendant cultures of Asia express the same essential interpretation given by the Maya culture of Central America; identifying the planet Mercury as ‘the fast runner’ that takes ‘quick flight’ around the sun, having a short orbital period of approximately 88 days. Among Nahuatl cultures, the art of running was crucial to the functioning of society, enabling the rapid conveyance of messages over long distance.
Mercury is the link (messenger) between the gods (higher principles) and humankind. In the ancient art of alchemy, such as in Hermeticism, Mercury, sulfur, and salt were the Earth's three principle substances that represent the trinity in creation. As sulphur is the symbol for the active principle, mercury is the symbol of the passive principle. The symbol of Mercury is the cosmic womb being incubated by the cross of the four elements of creation - earth, air, fire and water. Mercury is the messenger in Astrology as it is in mythology. It is the planet of day-to-day expression and communication. Mercury's action is to take things apart and put them back together again. It is an opportunistic planet, decidedly unemotional and curious. Mercury not only rules communication, it represents coordination. Thought processes, ideas, and sensory information from both unconscious and unconscious sources all need to be coordinated and understood.
Ive said before that the mercury was used to accomplish communication wth the Gods, The fluid metal element mercury was extolled as generating the luminosity of the blood of gods, for its threefold biophotonic extension of human longevity, whereby adepts of the alchemical arts were able to attain long lifespans. Mercury was closely associated with its extreme volatility, which must be carefully controlled to achieve positive results. Mercury was considered an ethereal element for its low boiling point of 357°C. When heated above this temperature, quicksilver will rapidly vaporize as toxic fumes inspiring an association with quick flight: ‘mercury has wings’.
A number of the Mesoamerican pyramids there are key components designed into their construction that act as magnifiers. These components appear to be important in the creation, magnification, and distribution of telluric fields.Pyramid & Scalar WavesEarly Irrigation of Teotihuacan
Provenance od Limestone used in Teotihuacan
Identification of Pyrite & Hematite
• Water, either moving naturally including rivers or cenotes (found at El Castillo at Chichen Itza) or by artificial canals or tunnels, similar to the Temple of Inscription found at Palenque.)
• Geo-magnetic fields. Naturally formed telluric fields that have high and low period throughout day and night.
• Pyramid design. The specific pyramid shape appears to greatly enhance the telluric fields that pulse up and into the center of the chamber.
• Pyramid interior fill. At a number of pyramids, rocks that are good electromagnetic conductors fill the interior of the pyramids and are used to enhance the pulsing field. Rocks that have veins with quartz, granite, and other electrical conducting properties appear to be favored. Characterization of lime carbonates in plasters from Teotihuacan, Mexico: preliminary results of cathodoluminescence and carbon isotope analyses
Dr Burke &Dr Brooker research determined that each location had been chosen because of its naturally occurring telluric energy field that pulsed up and into the structure or surrounding area. Also Burke and his research partner Kaj Halberg discovered electro-magnetic signatures that measured impressive charges on top of the pyramid. In a series of scans, the readings showed an average change of 908 volts over a short period of time, which was concentrated in the early morning hours. As ive stated in the past, this is the ideal time for sungazing. The pineal, contains magnetite & creates its own magnetic field. This was once a universal practice at Sacred sites, in 2009 until Nov 2012 The grand maya council held 52 full moon ritual of the new cycle where we visited sacred sites around the world and brought back these rituals. Burke mentions the readings and states, “These voltages might sound lethal and if it were a household current they could be. However, static electric charge in the air is a different type of electricity and even a thousand volts is not dangerous.” His discovery of pyramid field generation is fascinating, but what he actually uncovered was a means of generating and perhaps distributing electromagnetic energy within a pyramid complex. Which aligns with the term used for the ancient Egyptians, the Great PrNtr-house of Nature, or house of energy).
Stanford edu-Native American & Polynesian population The Genetic Evidence for 2 founding populations has constantly confirmed our traditions, the idea of independent invention is absolute nonsense. Theres an overwhelming amount of evidence, "believe" is a term unfamiliar to Dogon culture & ive yet to see the point in such a thing. If preconceived biases have clouded the minds of the majority, and they ignore evidence thats their fault.
-Between the 14th and 16th centuries during the Aztec era, Quetzalcoatl was worshipped as the patron of priests, the inventor of books and the calendar, as well as the protector of goldsmiths and other craftsmen..Shamanism, was invented in west Africa & brought to the Mesoamerican civilizations. The Aztec oral traditions say that Quetzalcoatl & his followers brought these beliefs ,and came from the East across the oceans. This is now corroborated by genetic, skeletal remains, artifacts, you name it. Quetzalcoatl was just a High Priest of Anu. The Gold tipped spears,or as Columbus calls it ' guanin 'to the Indians of Hispaniola. Samples of which sent back to Spain on a mail boat, and the proportion was found to be identical to what was being forged in African Guinea.
Moche Reed BoatThe Xi(Olmec) were a mix of a Polynesian/Oceanic elite aristocratic people accompanied by priests of the Orisha(Yoruba)/Mende(MalinkeBambara)responsible for introducing the religious practices and astronomical worship of the Mother Goddess complex (Venus, the Dogon Sirius observation and the Venus worship of the Olmecs, the use of the ax in the worship of Shango among he Yoruba of West Africa and the use of the ax in Olmec worship as well as the prominence of the thunder God later known as Tlalock among the Aztecs). It was R1b-V88(Yoruba) that were known as magicians to the Mayans & local Aymara over in Bolivia because of their knowledge of acoustics, which they have preserved from the Nile Valley (Anu colleges of Heliopolis).
Again, we see Toward the end of the Fourth Sun, wars between the gods were taking place. [The Battle of the Titans?] The gods' war brought havoc to the land; wild animals overran mankind, and Tollan was abandoned. The fourth Sun had begun 5,042 years before the time of the Codex Vaticano-Latino 3738 (1533). The time the Fourth Sun ended is not stated, but the Codex was written during the Fifth Sun. The Fourth Sun may have perished by means of the Jaguar. The Fifth Sun is referred to as the Age of Kings by the Incas.

2023.05.11 16:26 Adventurous-Ear9433 Ancient Naga:Reptilian Brain, the Domain of the Gods

Serpent Worship predates human history. Until the War-Cycle began, or the Invasions of the Nile, the Serpent was a symbol of wisdom, enlightenment, healing, rejuvenation .... i explained the reasons the serpent has been portrayed as the villain in recent times, and a user happened to post the CIA gate way experience classified page, which is a perfect example of Enlils promise To deprive humanity of knowledge of its potential. The serpent in Genesis is understood to have been an actual creature, not an allegory. In Ancient Hebrew history, for instance, records that our human ancestors were not the only intelligent, free-will beings who inhabited the ancient world. The ancient Hebrew word for "Serpent" is "Nachash" (which according to Strong's Comprehensive and other Biblical concordances contained in itself the meanings: Reptile, Enchantment, Hissing, Whisper, Diligently Observe, Learn by Experience, Incantation, Snake, etc. all of which may be descriptive of the serpent-sauroid race which we have been referring to). The original "Nachash" was not actually a "snake" as most people believe, but actually an extremely intelligent, cunning creature possessed with the ability to speak and reason. It also stood upright as , we say Lebe is 'of great stature '.
Those that evolved from reptiles dream, since The reptilian mind is still operating in them and we humans call that mental state "dreaming." There is no "dreamstate" in reptiles because this mentality is their waking state. The Sacred Secrets Brotherhood, taught through symbolism. "Language" of the reptilian brain is visual imagery. All communications transferred by reptiles are done so by visual symbolic representations, each having specific meaning.(Operation Mockingbird). Amram, Moses father saw the Watchers in his "dream-vision", this is the fiery serpent his son would later describe
R-Complex: .• obsessive-compulsive behavior
• personal day-to-day rituals and superstitious acts • obeisance to precedent, as in legal, religious, cultural, and other matters
• responding to partial representations (coloration, "strangeness," etc.), whether alive or inanimate
The Hopi Indian Legend of Creation tells of three different beginnings. One story says that Hopi have arisen from an underground paradise through an opening called Sipapu. The underground paradise was wondrous with beautiful clear skies and plentiful food sources [ bila-svarga].(identical to Tibetan -Shambala -Place of Peace )Things were great thanks to Anu & Sheti (snake brothers), they would return to the upper world because of the existence of those called Two Hearts, the bad ones.
So Enki/Ninhursag, mixed there genes with humans, allowing them to "eat from the tree of Knowledge" which Enlil disapproved of. HomoSapiens: Man, the Wise. • Naga "serpent & One who is wise.[ Further meanings from the Sanskrit-English Dictionary by Monier Monier-Williams: m. "not moving," a mountain (in Atharva Veda); the number 7 (because of the 7 principal mountains; any tree or plant (in Mahabharata); the sun.] Always associated with the #7, which means enlightenment. In the East Indian pantheon it is connected with the Serpent Spirit and the Dragon Spirit. It has an equivalence to the Burmese Nats, or god-serpents. Egypt, China, India, South/Central America Naga-synonomous with adept/initiates Aramu Muru. ("Serpentine Father or master”). In the Orient, the word “master” often means “teacher”. " Sumer (meaning "land of the guardians"), Babylon (meaning "gate of the gods"), and other civilizations of ancient Mesopotamia.7 Sages
The Nagas are a race of serpent beings. Most often they manifest themselves with half-man, half-serpent bodies, although sometimes they assume the shape of a dragon, or appear in the guise of a cobra. They can take many different forms including snakes, humans with snake tails and normal humans, often beautiful maidens. Said to have A precious gem embedded in their foreheads(3rd eye) endowing them supernatural powers. Nagas are divided into four classes: heavenly, divine, earthly or hidden, depending upon their function in guarding the heavenly palace, bringing rainfall, draining rivers or guarding treasures.
Buddha gave them the Prajnaparamita Sutras, until humanity matured. .Egyptians called the forehead dot Aten, the sun symbol. The Egyptian third eye implies the same concept as the Hindu “forehead dot”. The Aten is the awoken eye of Horus that sees the “sun within” or the “soul within”. And “sun” or “soul” is truly the “divine spark” or “Higher Self” within us. Thus it symbolizes the eye of Horus and the “Sun Within” or “Soul Within” that the awakened third eye sees* Coffin Text 313 Horus states proudly : "I made my Eye a living serpent". The handbag symbolizes divinely inspired knowledge, acquired through the proper use of the pinecone(pineal gland).
That kundalini serpent energy has been scientifically verified, the benefits are well documented. Our ancestors deserve an apology, and we need to follow Teslas advice. Study of nonphysical phenomenon, one couldnt possibly hope to understand how the Ma’ori-Ko-Hau-Rongorongo (‘master of special knowledge’) constructed the moai, the serpent wisdom tells us that all things come from the unseen to the seen & returns from the seen to the unseen. The spinal core with its outlying sympathetic trunks and their ganglia create a structure capable of generating a caduceus wound double helix magnetic field. The vortex ring is an archetypal form for self-organized coherence in zero-point energy. It appears in all levels of nature from galaxies to elementary particles.
There is an occult energy in the heart(mind) that comes from Tonatiuh, the Sun,and if man releases it, returning it consciously to the sun, he becomes immortal. But to liberate this energy, sacrifice is necessary. Man must sacrifice the desires and habits that he adores, sacrifice them in himself, and turn the knife against the enemy that he carries within himself, that keeps his heart a prisoner" Maya Pyramid of Fire Codex
-Enoch(Thoth) was the first among the children of men born of the Earth who had learned writing, science, and wisdom" from the angels. • Aramu Mayu -Serpentine Mother
• Serpents in Sanscrit of Indus (India).
• The earliest Mayans and their first Serpent kings, Caramaya and Naga Maya
• Kukulcan and Quetzalcoatal creating the Itza Maya Culture of South America.
• The Lung Dragons of China, and an interesting fact is that an ancient Chinese term for dragon was Naga.
• Amarus and Con Ticci Viracocha of Peru.
INCA believe that 2012 was the end of a cycle of 5,000yr of darkness. Humanity comes out of this collective amnesia, remember our connection to nature, "The serpentine energies of Pacha-Mama, and her daughters would once again regain their place of honor, and authority in the matrix of social awareness"
The great temple-builders of the famous Ankhor Wat were considered to be the semi-divine Khmers. You see the Buddha protected by Naga during meditation at ankhor Wat, symbolizes the 40 day initiatory ritual.. The avenue leading to the Temple is lined with the seven-headed Naga. -Mexico, we find the "Naga" which becomes "Nagal." The Hopi legends tell of Kachina who lead the migration to their current location. Palatquapi (Palenque) wasnt abandoned, their the Kachina taught the Serpent wisdom, Similar to Göbekli Tepe(buried) it was sacred. The Itza said that :when western archaeologists discovered who was buried in Palenque that the truth would remain hidden". I couldn't even find a photo of his entire body, only articles about a coverup. Notice, when the shining ones remains are found theres only "elongated skulls". Nothing about the tall, robust frame. The underground palace of Naga king is called Patala(Tibet -Dalai Lama resides in the Potala) They have guarded and protected several royal Burmese personages. They also give rubies to those they favor. Orissa India-Ndelebe
-China, the Naga is given the form of the Dragon and has a direct association with the Emperor and is known as the "Son of Heaven"...
Babies can see auras clearly. In fact babies eyes are unfocussed and they tend to focus/unfocus around you rather than at you, this is because they are observing the auras. highly vulnerable and auras never lie so it is safer for them to interact with others using auras as a guide
Buddha was an Enlightened Master from the Sakya clan of the Naga Race, and was the first man on earth to preach the great principles of equality, liberty and fraternity. He caused the Nagas to become conscious of their own mind power as opposed to the mantra power.
I mentioned the watchers in the last thread, the text says angels of the Lord, "come down to Earth to instruct the children of men and to bring about justice and equity on Earth." But in the case of the wicked or bad angels, the science they teach turns to wicked ends because of their sins.Watchers fall from grace with God when Enoch travels to heaven in physical form to testify against them. So ,Enoch(Thoth) was Enki’s son & creator of the Mystery school traditions of the Itoure(nile) that we carry on still today. Once again, it's ALWAYS been the serpent who's on your side. The serpent entered into the Egyptian religion under all his characters, of AN EMBLEM OF DIVINITY, A CHARM, AN ORACLE, and A GOD.
He tells God that the Watchers "had begun to go unto the daughters of men, so that they became impure". As punishment for the sins of the evil Watchers against humankind, God destroys humanity, including the hybrid race of beings who are the offspring of humans and Watchers, by causing a great flood. In Genesis the Serpent spoke up for us, Jesus himself was an initiate of the Serpent Wisdom. His 40days in the Wilderness, was our 40day initiation, I previously cited Pythagoras having to go through the same experience before being granted admission to Heliopolis. These rules are written in stone. The Essenes (Outsiders) were nomadic priests, Jesus calls himself the Morning Star(Venus) therefore he's telling us he is a follower of the Mother Goddess Isis.
The Cintamani Jewel was considered one of the sacred treasures of many Eastern civilizations, from Japan to India. Said to have been a gift from Heavenly Naga from Sirius. As i said in the previous post, when our cultures diefy someone it is because they displayed God like actions, the idea of an imaginary man in the sky came about only after The Roman(Enlil) invasions. The Reptilians shown at Horyuji Temple were stylized, that's what the sculptor saw. The jewel first appeared as one of the seven treasures owned by a king who was benevolent, just, and the ideal ruler. It also appears in stories as a water-purifying crystal which could be placed in murky water by traveling monks . This metaphor encouraged faith when overcome by doubts. A third depiction of the jewel is in the tale of Indra's net. It describes a net of immeasurable size with infinite knots. Each knot contains a Mani Jewel with an endless number of facets. Each jewel reflects every other jewel in the same way that individual beings are interconnected and indistinguishable from the whole.
Hindu tradition it is connected with the gods Vishnu and Ganesha or portrayed as a beautiful jewel in the possession of the Nāga king. The Cintamani in these legends are again wish-fulfilling gems that represents the enlightened mind in which all dreams are accomplished.Buddhists believe that the stone came into the custody of the enlightened and was taken to Shambhala, a legendary kingdom said to lie in Asia, north of the Himalayas. They believe a king will emerge from this place to bring forth the Golden Age. the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan, consist of the sword for valor, the mirror for wisdom, and the jewel for benevolence. It is believed that the Emperor was chosen by god and given these three treasures to ensure his success as ruler. The Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol for the star, Sirius, closely resembles these three objects, being an obelisk (sword), a half circle (mirror) and a star (jewel). The reappearance of Sirius signified the annual flooding of the Nile and was represented by Sopdet, the goddess of fertility and abundance.
The symbolism of three is common and found in the holy trinity; the three physical stages of life (represented by the Celtic spiral of life that looks similar to the Cintamani); electron, neutron and proton trinity; the body, mind and soul concept; mother, father and child… .
In 2009, elders from the cultures that I often discuss, led by Grand Naga-Maya Council led the end of the cycle 52-moon ritual. Where elders would visit each "navel" on a full moon for meditation, ritual that would occur at these sites before the invaders. This began at Angkor wat & Dec 2012 ended in Mexico. I was obligated to attend the ritual in South America, where a group gathered in an Ohum Temple, in Llanganates mountains. we held the Khipu while in the dreamstate to recall the events that occured in the past. Initiates enter caves with special waterholes,to recieve "new insides" from the 'Hidden' Naga. Remember the same priests would always bring writing that was only for the priesthood and various sciences. The Brazil Tablet depicts a west African Jaliyaa who visited the Andes. The reptilian Statue Morrop, in Peru & the Ono(Venus complex) worship of the San Agustin is attributed to west African Jaliyaa who were called "magicians" & introduced Shamanism. Both Olmec & Moche, Ono worshiped the Venus complex of the Oni tribe.
Aramu Muru, is attributed with establishing many sacred sites that have been rediscovered today throughout the Incan Empire, Manco Kapac and the Kapac Cuna, members of the Solar Brotherhood from Lemuria, built megalithic temple complexes throughout Peru, such as,
Tiahuanaco
• Sacsayhuaman
• Ollantaytambo
• Machu Picchu
Adepts known as the Kumara, were and remain a highly mystical order of the Great Solar Brotherhood. The term Kumara has in our contemporary understandings come to mean "the androgynous serpentine beings." Although it translates more accurately to ‘Father,' those of the Elder Race. It is known in some circles that later, after the decline of the society in Egypt, the Emerald Tablets were taken from their resting place by Great Royal Wife Nefertiti wife of Akhenaten(Moses) who was a Kumara and schooled in the Brotherhood of the Seven Rays, to the Halls of Records in the Yucatan.
You can find references to the Kumara the shining ones, in the Hindu Puranas where they are described as being the first teachers of Tantra Yoga on the Earth, and the descendents of Ti and Tiye. As well there are numerous references to 'the shining ones' (Elohim) in the Bible and the Koran. Purana Ancient Text( Only the Roman's made 'Shining Ones ' seem evil..
As the last Incalix Muru in the final days of Kasskara established the Rings of each of the Children of the Sun. With each individual Ring there was then appointed a circle comprising of 13 priests, and 13 priestesses, one head figure became the elected symbolic spiritual leader or Aramu. Aramu Muru for the men and Aramu Mayu for the women
Each Ring that was chosen was then instructed to take their records of ancient wisdom to their respective regions and hide the items at specific locations, deep within the chambers of ancient mountains; until it was the time of the Awakening(2012). These individuals were faithful in their belief, and wise in their understandings of the original teachings. Each had been close to the great and wise Sanat Kumara, the Kumara, the father. (Not as in Father God, rather oldest remembered Relative. The First Kumara the Aten-Adama.)
Naga/Nagash was also the title ‘King’ for the ancient Semitic speaking people of modern Ethiopia who lived in Arwe, and ancient kingdom in Punt.Sir William Jones contends that Sanskrit has its origins in the Nagari Ethiopian script created by the Ethiopian Naga Rulers of India during the era of the Ethiopian Empire of Punt which stretched from Africa’s Blue Nile River into India from circa 900 BC.American Journal Human Genetics "The older subclades of R1b were found East. R1b1a was found among the Levantines and R1b1* in central Africa with a trail leading back to Egypt and the Middle East 12,000-15,000 years ago. The highest diversity of R1b1b1 and R1b1b2 was found in Anatolia and the Caucasus, and the split between these two haplogroups occurred around Anatolia"
Indeed, the name Nagari itself when used to denote Sanskrit betrays the Ethiopian origin of the Sanskrit language. Dravidian classic, the Chilappathikaran made it clear that the first great kingdom of India was Naganadu. These Ethiopians were called Naga. It was the Naga who created Sanskrit. The first writing created by the Puntites was Sabaean. The earliest inscriptions written in this script were found at Haoulti, Ethiopia.WM Jones-Linguistics

2023.05.11 03:39 mickle_caunle Working with and Worshipping Aztec Entities

Terms and (Brief) History
The word “Aztec” comes from the Nahuatl aztēcatl meaning “inhabitant of Aztlán,” the mythic ancestral home of the people referred to as Aztecs. This term was not used by these people to refer to themselves. As these people were composed of multiple different ethnic groups, they used various names to refer to themselves, including Mēxihcah, Tenochcah, and Cōlhuah.
As it is used today, “Aztec” often refers to the historical people who lived in Tenochtitlán. Tenochtitlán was the capital of the Aztec Empire and was located on an island in Lake Texcoco, which is now occupied by Mexico City. Another term used is Mexica, which refers more broadly to the various Nahuatl-speaking groups of the Valley of Mexico. The term Nahua is most often used to refer to the contemporary Nahuatl-speaking indigenous peoples of Mexico and Central America. For this post, I’ll be using the less-precise but more-familiar “Aztec.”
It is generally agreed that the Nahuatl-speaking people did not originate in central Mexico, but rather migrated there from much further north. Their place of origin is usually thought to be somewhere in northern Mexico or the southwestern United States. They eventually established themselves in the Valley of Mexico, in several city-states around Lake Texcoco.
Tenochtitlán was founded in 1325, which in a global historical context is roughly 25 years before the Black Death would begin to ravage the Eastern Hemisphere. The Aztec Empire flourished until 1521 when it was conquered by the Spanish. Put in a global context, this was the same year that Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-five Theses to the door of Wittenberg’s Castle Church.
Types of Entities
The main type of Aztec entity one would encounter are the gods, or in Nahuatl, tēteoh.
Perhaps the most well-known Aztec god is Quetzalcōātl, whose name means “Feathered Serpent.” Quetzalcōātl is the god of life and light. He is associated with knowledge and learning, as well as the wind and priesthood. Various animals are associated with him, including the rattlesnake and the macaw. Belief in a Feathered Serpent deity predates the Aztec by centuries and can be found among the Olmecs, Maya, and the inhabitants of Teotihuacán.
Another well-known Aztec god is Tēzcatlipōca, whose name is often translated as “Smoking Mirror,” which alludes to obsidian. Tēzcatlipōca is the god of the night and conflict, as well as rulership, beauty, and divination. Together with Huītzilōpōchtli and Tlāloc, Tēzcatlipōca had a shrine atop a pyramid in the Templo Mayor complex. As for associations with animals, Tēzcatlipōca’s is the jaguar.
Huītzilōpōchtli is the Aztec god of the sun and warfare. His name is taken to mean “Left-Handed Hummingbird” or “Hummingbird of the South.” He was the patron of the capital city, Tenochtitlán. It was Huītzilōpōchtli who guided the tribes that were to become the Aztecs through their desert migrations. He sent them the vision of an eagle eating a serpent while perched on a cactus to signal them to the location of their future settlement, a motif that is found on the Mexican flag to this day. As can be surmised from the meaning of his name, the hummingbird is the primary animal associated with him.
Tlāloc is the Aztec god of rain, lightning, earthquakes, as well as caves, springs, and mountains. The exact meaning of his name is debated, but it is thought to mean something like “He Who is the Embodiment of the Earth.” Tlāloc is often depicted with his characteristic goggle-eyes and fangs and is thought to have been worshiped in various guises in Mexico and Central America for centuries prior to the Aztecs. Tlāloc has many animal associations including snakes, jaguars, butterflies, and spiders.
The goddess Mictēcacihuātl is the wife of the god Mictlāntēcutli. Her name means “Lady of the Dead,” and she is most commonly depicted as a corpse-like or skeletal-like woman. Together with her husband, she rules the lowest level of the Underworld, called Mictlān. There is evidence to suggest that, not only have the Aztec festivities to the dead survived as Día de Muertos, but that the goddess herself has survived in the figure of Santa Muerte. Common animals associated with her are owls, bats, and spiders.
Other than gods, another type of entity that has its origins among Aztec belief is the chaneque. The chaneque are short creatures, similar to gnomes or dwarves or the Mayan alux. The are said to dwell in forests or by rivers. Chaneque are said to be either helpful or harmful, depending on the different regional beliefs about them. Similar to stories about the fae, the chaneque are sometimes said to kidnap humans to take as lovers.
The Aztecs used the common Mesoamerican calendars as ways of reckoning time, which comprise a 260-day calendar and a 365-day calendar. The 260-day calendar, called the tōnalpōhualli had 20 different daysigns which were associated with animals. It was believed that the day a person was born would determine their tonal, or a close spiritual connection to that particular animal. Some people, known as nagual, were even believed to have the ability to shapeshift into their tonal animal. The word "nagual" comes from the Nahuatl nāhualli, meaning "a shapeshifting sorcerer."

PROOFS IN WESTERN SOURCES
  1. Professor Barry Fell, retired lecturer from Harvard University and also a member of the American Academy of Science and Arts, the Royal Society, the Epigraphy Society and the Society of Scientific and Archeological Discoveries, is adamant about the arrival of Islam in America in the 650s,2 predicating this argument upon the Cufic calligraphy belonging to that era found in various diggings across America. If the words of Professor Fell have truth-value, then the Muslims had arrived in America during the era of Uthman, or at least that of Ali, the fourth caliph. Such information, however, is not found in Muslim sources.
Professor Fell again uses the results of various archeological diggings undertaken across many regions in the states of Colorado, New Mexico, and Indiana to assert the construction of Muslim schools during 700-800 CE. Writings, drawings, and charts inscribed on rocks discovered in the most remote and untainted terrains of Western America are relics bestowed by the elementary and intermediate systems of Muslim education at the time. These documents were written in the old Cufic letters of North African Arabic, covering subjects such as reading, writing, arithmetic, religion, history, geography, mathematics, astronomy, and navigation. The descendants of these settlers are thought to be the current native tribes of Iroquois, Algonquin, Anasazi, Hohokam, and Olmec.
  1. The second evidence offered by Professor Fell is that the inscription of “In the Name of God” (picture 1), found on a rock during archeological work in Nevada, belongs to the seventh century, when the haraka sign system had not yet been developed. Likewise, the stone bearing the inscription “Muhammad is the Prophet of God” (picture 2) is pertinent to the same era. As seen by comparison of the two pictures, the inscriptions are not in the style of Modern Arabic; conversely they are in a Cufic style relevant to the seventh century.3
The Arabs, according to the findings of Professor Fell, settled in Nevada during the seventh and eighth centuries. The earlier existence of a school, which taught Islam and science, particularly navigation, has come to light following the archeological investigation undertaken by Professors Heizer and Baumhoff of California University around site WA 25 in Nevada. The excavations in Nevada have uncovered writings in Naskhi Arabic and Cufic style that are inscribed on rocks which carry information about this school (picture 3). The application of the mathematical formula “five diamonds equal an alif” (alif is the first letter of Arabic alphabet) may be seen in this picture (pictures 3b and 3c). The Arabic letters in pictures 3b and 3c, found amid excavations in Nevada, are in exactly the same style as North African Arabic. Again similarly, another rock was found in Nevada bearing the name “God”, the style of which is yet again reminiscent of the prevalent technique of seventh and eighth-century North Africa. The calligraphical similarities between various writing styles of the Prophet’s name over diverse periods, particularly those relating to Africa and America, found during archeological investigations are striking indeed. Figure A of picture 4 was found in al-Ain Lahag, Morocco and figure B in East Walker River; both are currently at the University of California. Figure C was discovered in Nevada and figures C and D were located in Churchill County and are also currently preserved at the University of California; likewise figure F was discovered in al-Haji Minoun, Morocco, while figure G, inscribed on ceramic, was revealed in al-Suk, Tripoli, Libya and figure H, at the University of California, was discovered at Cottonwood Canyon, while finally figure I was located on the border of Morocco and Libya. All these inscriptions belong to the eighth and ninth centuries, clearly illustrating the resemblance in style between North America and North Africa, as well as overtly suggesting a migration that occurred from Africa to America.
  1. In the twelfth century the Athapcan Tribe, comprised of native Apaches and Navajos, raided the area inhabited by the Arabs, who either ended up fleeing or were exiled toward the South. These illiterate natives were spellbound by the schools founded by the Arabs, and, perhaps with the assistance of captives, attempted to imitate the same subjects, transforming the geometrical shapes into mythical beasts, which carried on for centuries.
  2. Picture 5 is the Cufic writing found in 1951 in the White Mountains, close to the town of Benton on the border of Nevada. The words Shaytan maha mayan, i.e. the Devil is the source of all lies, have been written in a Cufic style peculiar to the seventh century.
  3. Once more, a rock inscription belonging to post-650 CE, bearing the Cufic letters H-M-I-D of the word Hamid (picture 6), is another Arabic script discovered on the Atlata rocks in the Valley of Fire in Nevada.
  4. While traveling from Malden to Cambridge in the state of Massachusetts in 1787 (on what is now RT. 16), the Reverend Thaddeus Mason Harris noticed some coins discovered by workers during road construction. The workers, not putting much value on these coins, presented him with a handful. Consequently, Harris decided to send these coins to the library of Harvard College for examination (picture 7). The study yielded that these were in fact Samarqand dirhams from the eighth and ninth centuries. As can be seen in the picture, the coins manifestly display the inscriptions La ilaha ill-Allah Muhammadun Rasulullah (There is no deity but God, and Muhammad is His Messenger) and Bismillah (in the name of God).
  5. Picture 8 shows a piece of rock discovered in a cave in the region of Corinto in El Salvador, bearing the inscription Malaka Haji mi Malaya; this has been identified as belonging to the thirteenth century, suggesting a possible arrival of Muslims in South America, perhaps coming from somewhere near Indonesia.
  6. During his second voyage, Columbus was told by the natives of Espanola (Haiti) of black men who had appeared on the island before him and they showed him the lances that had been left there by these Africans to support their assertions. The tips of the lances were of a metal, an alloy of gold, which they called guanin, a word which is semantically remarkably similar to the Arabic word ghina, meaning richness. Columbus had in fact brought some of this guanin back to Spain, recording that it was composed of 56.25% gold, 18.75% silver and 25% copper, ratios that were prevalent in African Guinea as standards for the processing of metals.
  7. On his third voyage to the New World, Columbus visited Trinidad, where the sailors noticed the symmetrically patterned cotton and colorful handkerchiefs of the natives. Afterward, Columbus realized that the handkerchiefs, which the natives called almayzar, were all much the same in color, style, and use as the headscarves and waist bands used in Guinea. The word almayzar is Arabic, and denotes a cover, tie, apron, or skirt, and is a component of the regional costumes of the Moors, Arabs and, Berbers of North Africa, who had conquered Spain in the eighth century. Columbus observed that the local women wore cotton garments and wrote in astonishment that they had learned of the concept namus, i.e. chastity. In much the same vein, Hernan Cortes, another Spanish explorer, later recorded that the clothing of local women consisted of long veils and skirts decorated with ornaments that were similar to those of the Moors. Ferdinand, Columbus’ son, was also quick to notice the resemblance between the cotton dresses of the natives and the ornamented shawls fashioned by Moorish women in Granada. The cradles used by the natives, furthermore, very closely resembled those of North Africa.
  8. Columbus recorded on 21 October 1492 that he had noticed a mosque on top of a mountain while sailing around Cibara on the northeast coast of Cuba. Relics of mosques carrying Qur’anic inscriptions on their minarets have been found in Cuba, Mexico, Texas, and Nevada since these times.
  9. Leo Weiner, a well-known Harvard historian and linguist, stated in his book The Discovery of Africa and America, written in 1920, that Columbus was aware of the existence of Mandinka, an ethnic group of West Africa, in the New World. The same book also affirms that Columbus was aware that West African Muslims were living across North America, including the south, middle regions and Canada, as well as in the Caribbean, and that they had marital and commercial ties with the native tribes of Iroque and Algonquin.
  10. A preponderance of the voyages embarked upon by Columbus and other Spanish and Portuguese explorers toward the other side of the Atlantic were undertaken only in the light of the geographical and navigational knowledge prepared by Muslims. Al-Masudi’s (871-957 CE) work Muruj’uz-Zahab, for instance, was written with this sort of data compiled by Muslim traders from across Africa and Asia. Two of Columbus’ captains on the first voyage, in actual fact, were Muslims: Martin Alonso Pinzon was in charge of the Pinta, while his brother Vicente Yanez Pinzon was the designated captain of Nina; both were from the Moroccan Marinid dynasty, descendants of Sultan Abu Zayan Muhammad III (r. 1362-1366). Formerly well-to-do ship riggers, they assisted Columbus in organizing his voyage of exploration, preparing the Santa Maria, the flagship, and covering all its expenses.
  11. Christopher Columbus has recorded the custom of nose piercing, which used to be and still popular in the Middle Eastern and Arab countries, as being prevalent in some islands across the Atlantic also mentions the writing of letters in Arabic.
  12. In the account of sixteenth century missionaries in America, the local copper mines, found particularly in Virginia, Tennessee, and Wisconsin were not operated by the natives, but instead by people from the Middle East, towards whom the natives nurtured a profound sympathy.
  13. A sum of 565 names, 484 in America and 81 in Canada, of villages, towns, cities, mountains, lakes, rivers and etcetera, are etymologically Arabic, designated by locals long before the arrival of Columbus. Many of these names are in fact the same as names of Islamic places; Mecca in Indiana, Medina in Idaho, Medina in New York, Medina and Hazen in North Dakota, Medina in Ohio, Medina in Tennessee, Medina in Texas, Medina and Arva in Ontario, Mahomet in Illinois and Mona in Utah, are just a few noticeable names at the outset. A closer analysis of the names of native tribes will immediately reveal their Arabic etymological ancestry; Anasazi, Apache, Arawak, Arikana, Chavin, Cherokee, Cree, Hohokam, Hupa, Hopi, Makkah, Mohician, Mohawk, Nazca, Zulu, and Zuni are only a few.

HOUSE AND BUILDING STRUCTURES

Archeological excavations conducted throughout North America and North Africa reveal a corresponding architectural resemblance between ninth century buildings. The structure of a Berber house of the Atlas Mountains, Morocco (picture 9), for instance, is exactly the same as that of a house in New Mexico (picture 10). The same similarity can be traced between the Castle of Montezuma discovered in Arizona and the remnants found in Mesa Verde in Colorado and the general structure of Berber buildings (picture 11-12).
The research undertaken by Professor Cyrus Thomas of the Smithsonian Institute shows that a small cabin built from piles of rock found in Ellenville, New York is virtually the same as the cabin, again of rock, found around Aqabah, Southern Arabia, both of which are thought to have been built around the start of the eighth century (picture 13).
Arabic words prevalent among natives prior to the arrival of Europeans
The pervasiveness of many Islamic words across the continent prior to European influx is verified by the following terms discovered in the regions currently known as New England and Nova Scotia, in America and Canada respectively. Fell pointed to some words as example of Arabic influence on Native Americans. All of the words listed below are derived from the Arabic language. However, time had eroded their original meanings and most are not used in Arabic today.
The last Muslim stronghold in Spain, Granada, fell just before the Spanish Inquisition was established in 1492. Non-Christians were forced to either convert to Catholicism to save themselves from the tyranny of the Inquisition or were exiled from the country. Documents exist which prove the existence of immigrant Muslims in Spanish America before 1550. In 1539 an edict from Spanish King Charles V was put into practice which forbade the immigration of Muslims to settlements in the West. This edict was later expanded to expel all Muslims from overseas Spanish colonies in 1543. The existence of Muslims in overseas islands and regions was known along with the fact that the Spanish king issued such an edict. Again, in many Islamic sources, it is noted that Muslims living in Spain and North Africa made overseas voyages during the Andalusia period. Scientific research on this subject will bring out many documents into the daylight, documents which have escaped the notice of both Muslims in America and those throughout the world, which will perhaps serve, in the future if not immediately, as a starting point for a re-evaluation of the history of America.
