My Facebook account got hacked last December 2023 after I accidentally downloaded a malware virus. And then they changed my email and contact number in that said account. After a day of finding a solution on how to recover my account, I got my account back for at least 10 mins (only) ,I got my account back, and change all the emails and contact number of it, but suddenly, I don't have access to it anymore, they changed again the email and contact number, up until now I can't recover it anymore, and someone is using and posting things in my account. I'm afraid that they will use my Facebook on things that are illegal, I reported it to Meta/Facebook but I got nothing in return, still my hacked Facebook account is still there.
How to solve this? I want it to be take down/deleted in Facebook.

I manage to get Spyro's Adventure in Japanese for my Wii U wich is hacked and I would like to share my thoughts since it's a version not very common and its the only one available for the WiiU besides de Wii version wich is conpatible.
1. The game runs at full HD very smooth and with no bugs or glitches
2. Everything is in Japanese so you really have no clue of whats going on, the great news is that you can skip all of the dialogs and cut scenes (something that I read you can't do at other platforms)
3. the gameplay is great and if you have played the others such as Giants you'll feel very confortable
4. The graphics, visual and effects are very nice just like the Wii version but improved. This is like a straight improved port from the Wii version rather than the diferent port for the other consoles
5. All the cinematics look great at fullHD
Anyway this is a great game eventhough is in japanese and I highly recomend to try it.

She was still trying to sell the idea my mom was getting hacked. Hung up on me when I asked her the specific steps she asked of my mom.
My mom was being gaslit and manipulated and was visibly confused and scared which is what tipped me off before hearing 'being hacked'.
Honestly deep down I knew it was bad news and I almost pretended I was being codependent at first but I intervened abruptly, I maybe heard 1 min of context, my mom saying 'I never know what backslash or forward slash is' and then the 'we're being hacked?' and shrug to me.
I saw cmd window open.
I walked away for 30 seconds and was like 'I guess that's my mom's problem, I probably shouldn't intervene' just for me to walk back and borderline spaz on the person on the phone.
Context, whatever.
Bless my mom's heart, she's a good person, she has compliance issues and is deferent in problematic situations and it made me so sad to spaz immediately and try to get her to give me as much info on that interaction as she could while also trying to comfort her and be calm and not make her feel foolish
What I gathered;
-gets popup on computer
-she called the number
-"problem with network, hackers"
-they told her to Google ultraviewer
-she downloaded it from their website
-installs it
-she gives them the info in the ultraviewer window
-they told her press windows key + r, cmd, enter
-they tell her type netstat, enter in cmd
-they gaslight about something
-they tell her type dir /s
-she types the wrong 'dir \s'
-I intervene for context
-she says 'idk we're being hacked? 🤷'
-they keep asking her what she's seeing (preparing a gaslight? Idk)
-I leave for a second
-she's communicating what she sees in the cmd command 'dis', is confused and scared
-I come back and shut the entire thing down by asking for the phone and asking the girl on the other side curious questions about what had happened so far
-come back to the computer and try to piece together what had happened so far, take these photos
-*moms says she never pressed the button 'allow remote control' *key detail she's dug her heels in about
-says they never had control over her computer
-never saw a mouse do things by itself
-says she typed in all the commands herself
-she did give them the info in ultraviewer, want to specify that again
-I comfort and thank her, she goes to the dentist
-I furiously start researching scams, start making hella phone calls, watching YouTube on my laptop and my phone
-I called the elderly fraud relief hotline, they're trying to congratulate me for saving my mom
-Call my ex cyber security friend that's mutuals with my mom; he's saying if the metaphor is 'you knocked a gun out of a robbers hand' this is a case of 'oh shit the gun went off, but no one was shot' was a close situation is what I'm being told
-I get my mom a ton of resources, numbers, relief and support leads, fraud tools, the whole thing. She changes her passwords. Etc
-we back up her files, upgrade Anti-virus, run it idk 10 times.
-did a 'reset windows from inside windows 11', deleted everything , started putting stuff back on
-re-downloaded Anti-virus (trend micro), ran it 5 times, have gone about our business
-people trying to tell me they haven't heard of anyone calling these specific avenues (relief hotlines and what not) in the context of was almost scammed, it's always 'Omg I just got scammed'
-girl on the elderly relief hotline is telling me these scammers were about to invoke 'cp' and extort my mom. She kept yelling those words over the phone cp ugh, I was like lady I get it.
-she was assertive with the context that I did a good job and that my mom was so close to getting fucked
-got lots of congrats that day
-still ocd paranoid af.
Eager for feedback; how close was my mom really?
Can anyone confirm or deny this didn't happen?
I'm wondering if a bullet hole is going to be found to create lots of damage in the future.
I should probably reinstall the os from a flash drive and format the drive entirely, any other measures to take?
How much have I over corrected? Was she ever in real danger? She probably would've realized that this was a scam when it got to a certain point, right? They were still trying to gaslight her to make her maleable?

My goal was to build immersive, hard, but balanced and crash-free survival experience.

  • New game on survival difficulty required
  • All six DLCs needed
  • Tested only on PS5
  • Adding your own mods will break stuff
You start weak, tired, confused and with barely any gear. You are no one after leaving the vault. Avoid most encounters and quests. Try to survive, build a safe spot and carefully explore. Be aware of your surroundings, use what you find and don't engage in battles if you don't need to.
Before you there is a long way including exploration, difficult combat, building and managing settlements. But worry not. Enemies no longer are bullet sponges, however rushing towards them or standing in one place is guaranteed death.
Saving often in beds and making 'autosave drug' at the earliest possibility is a good idea (nearest chemistry workbench is at Abernathy Farm). Save menu is always on top of MISC category in Pip-Boy.
Discovering new places gives plenty of exp in the beginning, but quests are your main exp income.
Exploring safer areas like Sanctuary, Concord and smaller settlements first (avoiding powerful enemies) recommended. There might be a lot of combat in the background. Don't engage much, especially avoid supermutants, robots, turrets, bears - they are deadly even for high level, well developed characters. Raiders also hit hard, depending on their weapon and rank.
Weapon caliber makes huge damage difference. 10mm is pretty weak, but if you find rare .50cal rounds or some good explosives, you should eliminate tougher targets much more easily.
Investing in stats right after level 15 is a good idea. STR for carry weight, PER for accuracy, END for health, CHA for better prices, INT for more exp, AGI for sneak and speed, LCK for dmg and loot. Be sure of your choices. Watch out for 'revealing all map markers' and 'slow time when aiming' perks. Be sure you want and like them, there is no going back.
Deathclaw in the early minuteman quest is tough - try to use explosives to break his legs and some high caliber weapons to finish him off by shooting his face. Or maybe you'll get lucky and raiders will kill him. Or just simply avoid him until you get proper gear.
Don't waste ammo on zombies, use melee. Bullets are valuable. However zombies can grab and instantly kill you if your HP is very low, so watch out on low, early levels!
Aim for the head for much higher damage. Concentrating damage on arms or legs to rip them off is a good strategy too. Raider without arms wont do much to you except running around and alerting nearby enemies, that is.
Damage types are important. Ballistic damage is not efficient against turrets, melee against radroaches and so on. You need to figure out yourself whats best strategy.
Develop and protect your settlements, put walls to protect generators and other important structures. Repairing is costly. Gear up settlers. Scraping and cleaning settlements is a good early source of components.
Try to fully explore the map, kill enemies and do all quests. Most loot and enemies wont ever respawn so this is your chance to find new secrets in Commonwealth and clear the place.

Combat, Enemies

  • Enemies will flank, charge, take cover, run in fear, use and pick up ammo & weapons, swap to backup gun and so on.
  • Headshots or weakspot hits do much higher damage than torso shots.
  • Gun caliber greatly affects damage, explosives are powerful and damage type matters.
  • Foes have special moves like biting and holding leg, wrestling moves, kicks. Dependent on enemy type and briefly stuns you.

Sound, Graphic

  • Sounds are less flat because of added reverb and other tweaks.
  • Very dark nights with wide, helpful flashlight.
  • Atmospheric lightning: beautiful light from lantern and fire sources, dusk, dawn, moon, plus bullets illuminate environment when flying around.
  • No dreadful, annoying, unimmersive: combat music, hearthbeat, sounds of generators, turrets, exp gain sound, most perk triggers and perk chart.

Crafting, Modifying

  • Making and disasembling ammo. Upgrading clothes, rings, glasses in different ways.
  • Legendary swapping, crafting legendary effects using technical documents. Some effects have been adjusted.
  • Added crafting of new, lower damage explosives, but they have unique effects for ease of use.

Perks, SPECIAL

  • STR affects carry weight, PER accuracy, END is health, max AP, CHA for better prices, INT for more exp, AGI for sneak, walk and reload speed, LCK for small dmg boost, loot, critical hits outside VATS and while using it.
  • Leveling up does not give you health. You rely on stats, bonuses, gear.
  • Perks tree mostly changed, level 15 needed to start increasing Special base stats, level of around 100 to increase stat to 10. To get all perks you would need 300 levels, so new modified 'idiot savant' will help a lot.
  • Collecting magazines, bobbleheads, companion perks is now more helpful and recommended.
  • Some skills are changed, reordered, much more interesting and useful.
  • More perks are needed for crafting, especially science perk is required for most technology related stuff.
  • Lockpicking everything is available instantly from level one, but perks and AGI make it reasonably easier. Bobby pins are more rare.
  • Hacking is simplified to not do the repeating minigame. Now holotapes to reprogram and override terminals might be of use.

Settlements, Building

  • Perks required to build important and useful objects. Buying component shipments available.
  • You can hire guards for caps or risk regular settlers life on guard posts.
  • You can't harvest planted fruit and vegetables, you get your share in workbenches, can gather in the wild yourself or assign settlers to gathering stations.
  • Collecting resources by settlers changed. Bigger variety of settlers and they are now mortal.
  • More objects to build and decorate your bases.

Locations, Loot

  • Items like meds and ammo are harder to find and exist in appropriate containers.
  • Quick travel available, but only to settlements.
  • Only rare enemies like bosses drop legendaries.
  • And many more...

I recently came across a YouTube channel that is using and promoting cheats/hacks for GZW. I won't share the channel publicly to avoid encouraging people to download the cheats/hacks, but I am willing to share the link with a moderator if necessary.

Arc browser’s Windows launch sabotaged by malvertising The much-anticipated launch of the Arc browser for Windows, a new browser that has already received positive reviews after last year’s release for iOS, was marred by a Google Ads malvertising campaign that lured people into downloading trojanized installers to receive malware payloads. A report from MalwareBytes describes how the threat actors set up malicious advertisements on Google Search to attract users looking to download the new web browser. Since these installed the Arc browser as expected, it is unlikely that victims will realize they have become infected with malware. (ThreatDown blog by MalwareBytes)
Cencora breach exposed patient info from 11 drug companies Following up on a story we covered in March 1, some of the world’s largest drug companies have disclosed data breaches following a cyberattack at Cencora, formerly known as AmerisourceBergen, a pharmaceutical services provider specializing in drug distribution, specialty pharmacy, consulting, and clinical trial support. The data stolen includes full name, address, health diagnosis, medications, and prescriptions, although no numbers of patients appears available. This is because the 11 companies affected, including Novartis, Bayer, and GlaxoSmithKline are processing the impact individually. (BleepingComputer)
Black Basta claims hack on fuel distributor Atlas According to researcher Dominic Alvieri, Black Basta has added the company to its online victim list. “Atlas is one of the largest national fuel distributors in the U.S., moving 1 billion gallons of fuel per year to the 49 continental states. Amid the 730GB of data claimed to have been stolen from Atlas is corporate data belonging to departments such as Accounts, HR, Finance, and Executive, as well as user and employee data. The gang has published some documents as proof, but Atlas has yet to disclose the alleged incident. (Security Affairs)
Funding cuts expands backlog of unanalyzed vulnerabilities New research from VulnCheck shows that over 90% of submissions to the U.S. government’s National Vulnerabilities Database have not been analyzed or enriched since the agency announced cutbacks in February. CVE enrichment involves the inclusion of public feedback following the creation of a vulnerability number. This has been adversely affected by the cutbacks. Out of 12,720 new vulnerabilities added since February, 11,885 remain not analyzed. In addition, 82% of bugs that have a public proof-of-concept exploit have not been examined. (The Record)
Ascension’s recovery highlights the less visible effects of a healthcare cyberattack The healthcare network’s 140 member hospitals and senior care centers are coming back online following a major cyberattack earlier this month, but certain scars remain. The sudden loss of technology left nurses and physicians exasperated. The need to use fax machines to order prescriptions, lab work and imaging was something they described as dangerous, as one nurse described a case where they had to wait four hours for head CT (scan) results on somebody having a brain bleed. They “struggled to know what blood tests or medications correspond to which patients, and resorted to their own text messaging threads, along with asking patients to bring in their own documentation. Some health workers have “criticized Ascension ordering them not to explain the situation to patients who become angry when they are told that tests cannot be done or the wrong medication was delivered.” Ascension is also facing a class action lawsuit as a result of the theft of confidential patient information. BreachForums returns just weeks after FBI-led takedown Just two weeks after we brought you the news of the FBI’s takedown of the notorious dark-web marketplace, BreachForums is back open for registration as of Tuesday. Back on May 15, BreachForums website and Telegram channel displayed warnings that they were now “under the control of the FBI.” Additionally, profile pics of the BreachForum admins Baphomet and ShinyHunters depicted them behind bars and Baphomet was reportedly arrested. However the ShinyHunters crew claimed to escape unscathed and the marketplace now appears to be under their control. (The Register and HackRead)
New report looks at the security dangers of inadequate offboarding Wing Security says that 63% of businesses may have former employees who still have access to organizational data. Inadequate or insufficient offboarding practices, the company says, often happen during periods of mass layoffs, citing the 80,000 tech employees who were made redundant in the first half of 2024 alone, “especially considering that the average employee uses 29 different SaaS applications.” The report cites four distinct risks, being data breaches, compliance violations, insider threats, and intellectual property theft. Malware bricked over 600,000 routers Researchers from Lumen Technologies’ Black Lotus Labs reported new details about an incident that occurred last October, where hundreds of thousands of customers from a single ISP reported bricked SOHO routers. The report didn’t name the ISP, but the timeline matches a large-scale outage by Windstream. On October 25th, 2023, an unknown threat actor deployed the commodity Chalubo malware on over 600,000 routers connected to a single autonomous system number, using custom scripts to overwrite the router firmware. Notably, the attack targeted the ASN, not a particular router model, with routers from two different manufacturers impacted. The researchers don’t know the exact attack chain or if a nation-state actor perpetrated the attack. (Ars Technica)
Dutch bank ABN Amro discloses data breach This breach has been announced as being a result of a ransomware attack suffered by a third-party vendor, AddComm, a company that distributes documents and tokens physically and digitally to clients and employees. AddComm has contained the incident and is investigating what data may have been accessed, and ABM Amro has stopped using this vendor’s services. The bank also states that there are currently no indications that attackers have used the data of its customers. (Security Affairs)
