Is there any recourse for rogue mods with megalomania and messiah complexes. Can't believe I'm permanently banned for a post. I'm afraid if I respond I'll be banned from the entire reddit as I heard this sub's mods are revengeful and malicious. Should I just leave it at that?

We all saw new augments, we heard what DE's planning for Frost but here's my question. Will he be that good as we think he will?
Freeze - stays virtually the same, except the range upgrade - meaning he can instantly freeze anything in much bigger blast radius. Nice
Ice wave - while not changed directly, also had a boost since it's faster and goes further than Avalanche. It's cheaper to cast. Augment also leaves slowing patch of ground. For anyone saying it's useless (just asking for a bit of reason) - not everyone play perfectly or have minmaxed builds, having a field of cc like Vauban is a huge deal in higher tier missions where enemy level and spawn rate can skyrocket into orbit. Looking specifically at things like Archon hunts mobile defense or excavation. In full squad, enemies can straight up flood you in f****** no time. Having a tool to choke entire passage for 20+ seconds can be a needed "breathing space" for your allies.
Snowglobe - is really good since it won't block allied fire anymore. Thank God for that.
Avalanche - stays the same.
But there are two augments. Battery armor grants additional energy when you add more armor on yourself. New passive grants armor, we don't know how much but taking steel patch enemy count? Yeah, numbers will stack up rapidly. I mean, Gyre levels of going from 0 to 1 000 000. Meaning? Not only survivability (kinda redundant when Frost have overguard and shieldgating) but also rapid scaling for snowglobe ehp. Remember that snowglobe convert damage into hp from combined values of hp, armor and strength.
Having a free slot instead of Prime Flow is another bonus.
And Arcane Icestorm... Oh boi. Frost don't really need power strength. Precision Intensify gives mad amount of power strength for Avalanche already, so we're set here. Abilities from 1 to 3 don't really need strength to begin with since freeze just stops whatever you want, and ice wave give fixed 6 cold procs. Snowglobe was the only outlier here, but with armor scaling? I don't think it will need it anymore. Duration is also a nice bonus since it will prelong amount of time enemies will be affected by Freeze and Avalanche.
So what is to build here? Range with a bit of duration baby. Get your augments, add whatever you like (maybe Energy Nexus if you like. Nice comfort mod tbh). Bring that Avalanche to 30 meter radius. Ice wave to over 50 meters and let is just zoom like cocaine induced Husky during zoomies. Everyone have a cold procs!
Honestly? I'm looking forward to meeting new chilled Frost. DE and Pablo clearly had a idea in mind to bring Frost into the meta. Maybe not as a damage nuke, but as an absolute CC monster. Controlling battlefield to enormous degree, stopping enemy assault in a instant, stripping armor and granting indirect crit damage buff to himself and allies. No timers to keep in mind, straight forward to the frozen bone and mercilessly effective.

I was MOD this afternoon/tonight. It was a long and busy night and now I’m exhausted. I’m in a small town where the only stores are DG, Family Dollar, the grocery store and convenience store. I had 2 resets to do tonight. The first took me 3 hours because for the first 2 hours I was alone and it got busy. I barely had 5 minutes without a customer. So when the sales associate got there I was finally able to really start. Had an hour lunch from 7-8 and when that was done, I went and started the 2nd reset on bath/shower. It was shortly after I started working again that the lady came up and wanted clarification for the sale on throw rugs and pillow. She thought they were half-off and I explained that were BOGO 1/2 off. I thought she understood. 5 minutes later my cashier comes up and asks if I can deal with this lady because she’s mad that her throw blanket is not ringing up 1/2 off. I explained to her again that you have to buy two and one would be half off. So the $25 blanket would be full price and one the 2 $12 throw pillows would wind up $6. Then she finally understood. Finished ringing her up and her total comes down to about $200. Then she gets mad about that because she doesn’t have that much. So we start voiding stuff. We get it down to $150 or so (oh and 2 of the items she decided she didn’t want were the 2 throw pillows). She’s not happy she spent that much but she pays and leaves with her big totes full of junk (she walked). The is was about 8:30 and we don’t close until 10.
I guess it was around 9:40, I was doing something behind the registers and my cashier just finished checking someone out so she was going to go do her night duties and she stopped and said “Oh my god, the crazy lady is back.” SA came and stood next to me at the register and the lady came stomping into the store screaming that we were stealing from her. Apparently she walked a mile to the gas station and sat and went through everything she bought. She said she called the police and told them that we charged her for items that she didn’t buy. That she has never stolen from the store and that we were cruel and evil for stealing from her. I’m just standing there confused knowing she didn’t get charged for anything extra because I was right there. She threw her bags back on the register and said she wanted all her money back. She pulled out her receipt and kept pointing to items that she said she didn’t buy. 2 $8 canvas totes (she was carrying all of her crap in them), “some sort of solar light” (it was a pair of $10 black leggings), and one other big thing for $12. All in all, I ended up refunding her $33 dollars. She was not double charged for any item, nor was she charged for any item that she didn’t actually get. So as she’s packing her shit back up into one canvas tote (she returned one and kept one) she starts ranting about how “he” (not me) has taken so much from her and that we need to get our shit together and make him fix what’s broken with store. Then throughout the whole time she’s still complaining that I told her the blanket and throw pillows were all 1/2 off. The poor 18 year old sales associate I was working with was on the verge of tears the whole time. She was afraid that she really did screw up and that the police were gonna come. I called our SM and told him what happened. He said that if she did actually call the police that he had our backs because he knows we didn’t do anything wrong. I guess that’s just another day working for DG and dealing with the looney toons that shop there.
TL/DR: Lady came in and bought $150 worth of crap and showed up an hour later claiming that we stole money from her by charging her for items she didn’t get and that she called the cops on us.

Hey there! I'm still newbie in actually playing the sims, but I did grow up learning about the lore lol.
Still new to mods and cheats in general in relation to this game? Any good mods that can help me with that? I tried to manually make a romance between my sim and Beau Merrick which did go painfully unwell since I only can be friends with him, but when I try to romance the dude, he pulls away which is kind of ruining my plans for this game play and already tried to build a relationship with him 3 times already and he always finds a way to be mad at my sim.😵‍💫

A few nights ago I (F24) was hanging out with all my friends and I confidently and I admit unprompted said our friend Troy (M23) was the most attractive male in the group, which was almost unanimously accepted. Everyone agrees he’s hot, he’s got it all, he wins, not a question. I admit part of me assumed he’d say the same thing back, I admit this was a bit of fishing, but with all the attention on him, he said with his chest that he thinks Emily (F23) is the most attractive female. I was thrown off, but everyone agreed similarly to how they did with Troy. This didn’t hurt my feelings or anything, it just surprised me. Someone asked if I agreed and I said no. I said she was pretty, stunning even, but I fit into beauty standards more. She is very unique, she has this dark, thick, curly hair, green eyes, big lips, a button nose, she’s curvy, a bit tall, has some piercings and tattoos, which is all very, very attractive. She is genuinely beautiful and unique looking. I just fit more into traditional beauty standards of blonde hair, blue eyes, short, petite, no body mods, so forth. I wasn’t saying she was ugly, just that traditionally speaking I was more conventionally attractive.
Some people got mad, some people called me racist (she’s El Salvadorian), which I pointed out that Troy is Japanese and I said he was attractive, other people said if that’s the standard Michael (M24) with blonde hair and blue eyes should be the most attractive male, but I pointed out Troy’s height and physique that make a difference. The one that confused me honestly is pointing out that Troy has tattoos and piercings, so he should be unattractive too. I never said those things were unattractive, I think they’re hot, but traditionally speaking body mods are unappealing. Emily herself said it wasn’t a big deal, she didn’t really care, and after that everyone seemed to move on.
People aren’t really talking to me anymore because of this, and I think they’re stuck on the racist part. If they are talking they’re being kind of casual or telling me what I said was rude. It wasn’t racist to me, it had nothing to do with race, it was just what’s conventional. I actually reached out to Emily to apologize and she thanked me but reiterated it wasn’t a big deal to her. When I went to talked to Troy, he told me it wasn’t cool at all. I feel somewhat justified in my stance honestly, even though I know it could be taken the wrong way.
So AITA for telling my friend that I am more conventionally attractive than her?
Edit: I understand that it’s ignorant to believe in any type of beauty standard. I just meant I fit into more classic beauty standards. Also, while she is El Salvadorian, she is white passing. A long time ago, I saw a comment on this subreddit of a guy in Frost who got a ghoul mask and he would roam with herds of ferals, sort of acting as one of them. It sounded really badass, and it reminded me a lot of the Whisperers from The Walking Dead, who were basically a cult of survivors who would wear skin-masks of walkers (zombies) to survive and roam among them, and atleast some of them basically worshipped the undead.
Anyways, would this actually work in current FROST? In my playthroughs, I’ve never acquired the ghoul mask, nor played as an actual ghoul myself. I haven’t played frost since the next gen ‘update’ broke mods (thanks Todd), but I plan on to since the Below Zero guide update added the downgrader so you can actually play the damn game with mods properly. I wanna either play as a mad survivor who’s either a ghoul or just wears the ghoul mask, and worships radiation or something like that. However, I have some questions.
Are ferals still hostile to ghoul players?
Does the ghoul mask give too much rads to be worn constantly and not die?
Do ferals actually sort of roam around somewhat, or is the ai too stupid and they’ll just stand around in a single spot doing nothing?
I’d really like to try this as it sounds like a fun idea for roleplay in a new playthrough, but I don’t wanna just die immediately or be restricted to a single area with ghouls. Any suggestions?

For me RSS has the best physics and FFB out of all the mods, their attention to detail is exceptional. Their audio is off the charts ahead of any other developer or modder out there. With prices that developers are charging for a full sim plus DLC content for new cars, I'd rather just have RSS develop a full field of cars and to me that would pretty much be the perfect sim. To be fair I was/am an rF2 junky too, and I think rF2 has just a little more intricacy in their FFB and sometimes physics in some aspects (drifty cars aside), but RSS with CSP bridge the gap to amazing FFB and physics platform that I really wouldn't need another sim. I'm actually currently a little disappointed in LMU, it's been a little bit since I played it but they did something weird with the FFB and feel of the cars that took away the rF2 magic. Not sure if it's been adjusted since I played it last, but I might wait for the full release to put more time into it.
Also, RSS is the only developer right now for AC modding making cars that actually meet, or are extremely close, to the real lap times. VRC is close, but their Hypercars are still around 1-2 seconds faster than the real times, where the RSS BMW Hypercar is pretty much right on the real times. URD is pretty much off the charts with how fast their cars are, I have to massively handicap the Porsche to get it close to a realistic lap time (among other issues I have with URD). For me VRC is a very close second (maybe more like a 1.5 instead of second), I'd even be happy with VRC taking on the Hypercars and RSS doing the GT3 field.
So a full field being 22 cars, if you think about developers charging $50-60 for the game plus multiple DLC's, I wouldn't be mad at $75-100 for the full package. And yes I understand too that they aren't including a full sim with it, but CSP at this point is a physics package for AC on it's own which costs almost nothing on Patreon, and AC costs basically nothing to buy it. Tracks are free, I've never paid for a track from any modder and they're all excellent. Especially Reboot Team tracks which are all free.

On the way to the first boss, there are two groups of mobs and two caged mobs:

• Mushroom Pig: Every 20% HP lost grants all players a 10% damage increase buff, stackable, and lasts for 30 seconds.
• Man-Eating Flower Fairy: Charms a random enemy to attack their allies. The charm is removed when the HP drops below 30%.

First Boss – Nursery Guardian Ex Hardwood

1.1 Overall Flow

1. P1 Phase:

• The battle begins, and the BOSS uses "Spinning Swing" > "Roar" > "Rock Smash" in sequence.

1. At 75% HP:

• Summons mobs, enter P2, only uses [Flame Gun Throw] and [Throw]. After mobs are defeated, return to P1.

1. At 50% HP:

• Summons mobs again, enters P2, and repeats the above skill cycle.

1. At 25% HP:

1.3 Minor Skills

• Spinning Swing: 270° cone AoE damage and knockback, with a slow effect. Stay away to avoid.
• Roar: Damages all players and interrupts casting, extending cast times. Avoid using cast-time skills.
• Rock Smash: Deals damage to the farthest player. Healers should be ready to heal quickly.

Second Boss – Mad Druid Sunrise Greenleaf

2.1 Overall Flow

This BOSS does not directly attack players but continuously summons mobs to assist in combat.

1. First Wave: Summons Small Noisy and Slimes.
2. Second Wave: Summons Small Noisy and Explosive Spiders.
3. Third Wave: Summons Experiment No. 28. After No. 28 is defeated, it revives No. 28 and summons Experiment No. 55.
4. Fourth Wave: After defeating No. 28 and No. 55, the BOSS flees, and the battle is won.

2.2 Core/Transition Mechanisms

1. Mobs: The BOSS continuously adds potions to the alchemy pot to summon mobs. Each mob has different skills; prioritize key mobs for killing.
2. Experiments: No. 28 and No. 55 have powerful skills; prioritize killing No. 55 first.

Third Boss – Plant Aggregate Horror Colossus Type II

3.1 Overall Flow

1. P1 Phase: The battle begins, and the BOSS uses "Seed Burst" > "Durian Bomb" > "Toxic Shock" in sequence.
2. At 80% HP, enters P2: Gains "Root Spike" and "Explosive Thorns" skills, damage increased by 15%.
3. At 40% HP, enters P3: Gains "Multiple Lock-On" skill, damage increased by another 15%.

3.2 Core/Transition Mechanisms

1. Root Spike: Randomly spawns AoE damage at a player's location, players need to keep moving to avoid it.
2. Explosive Thorns: Delayed damage and trap creation, players should place traps in designated locations.
3. Multiple Lock-On: Randomly targets two players, one should stay away from the group, the other shares damage with the group.

3.3 Minor Skills

• Seed Burst: Rectangle AoE damage, move sideways to avoid.
• Durian Bomb: Large AoE damage, followed by small bomb creation, clear them quickly.
• Toxic Shock: Reduces healing effectiveness, and can be dispelled.
