Hey guys,
Looking for some advice here. Back in February, I purchased a 2008 Audi TT 3.2 V6 QUATTRO Coupe. It's an automatic with the DSG. Everything has been running absolutely flawlessly. No issues.
Before I get into the details, I want to let you know that I park my car on a fairly steep driveway. I always park with the front of the car facing down, meaning the rear end is higher. Also, I always roll the car down to the bottom where it is mostly level before I start it. Not sure if this information matters, but thought I would put it out there.
Anyways, the other day, I took the car out for a drive. I always let it warm for a couple minutes before heading off, and always drive very calmy until my oil temp is at operating temperature.
So I took it for a drive, and the gear shifts were very jerky. Like it would shift from 2nd to 3rd, 4th to 5th, and it would seem to do it very quickly and cause a "jerk". Like it would make me jolt forward in my seat. It was a very harsh shift.
After driving for awhile and getting the car warmed up more, that would go away. But that jerking feeling caused from a sloppy gear change was not normal and there must be something going on.
I took the car out again a few days later, and it happened again. Sloppy jerky gear changes, then corrected itself after some time.
I bought the car from a dealership, which I might add, is not an Audi dealership. They did a full inspection and everything seemed fine, but with that said, their mechanics are likely not Audi specialists and maybe didn't check the DSG fluid or other things that are Audi specific.
From my understanding, lots of cars have a "lifetime" transmission fluid that doesn't require changing, however the DSG requires changing every 40,000km/mi
I personally have not had a chance to check it myself, but just wondering if that could be the issue?
Just want some opinions from you guys who may have the expertise or some guidance as to what my next steps would look like.

The jerky gear changes dont make a harsh sound or anything like that, it just seems to maybe hold in gear for too long before shifting, causing a quick change to the next gear, which then makes me jolt forward.  | It is a staple car for people who come to me for an all-rounder (frugal, sporty and shouldn’t break the bank in maintenance) sedan. submitted by Express-Stand-2767 to carsfromthepast [link] [comments] It is a remarkable car, truly it is. A torque-monster engine mated with arguably the best automatic transmission plonked in a production car. You gun it and music starts playing in your ears. That symphony comes from the straight six called N57 motor. Oh, it is a great feeling. I have driven this car on multiple occasions and on varying terrain - from jostling city traffic to never-ending expressway to unpaved country side roads. It tackles everything merrily. A lot of people think that this being a low-slung sedan, damaging the underbody must be a simple task. Heck, I have been told that these cars damage their transmission by going over a speed-bump. See, this is where the clever engineering comes in. The wheelbase and suspension setup on these sedans are kept such that when the front tires are about to pass the bump, the rear ones have already climbed it. This way, the bump’s top point never meets the car’s lowest point. No scraping here. I think this is a beginner friendly car. It has a light steering (turning radius is identical to E84 X1), the park assist works wonderfully and you can sit high enough to see the long bonnet. All these points were made by my sister who drives an E84 X1. Now, the day I left Bangalore, it was 27°C and the AC was set to 22°C. I was sitting comfortably. And the day I reached Ajmer, it was 45°C. I was still comfortable. The compressor never stops (variable speed) on these unlike most of the cars out there. The result is consistent cooling while saving fuel. The drive is excellent. Just the right amount of stiffness to pull impressive overtakes taking the inside curved lane while the ladies sitting in the Innova shoots your video (yup, that happened mostly because this car wears an M4 inspired bumper. I look average!). The paddle shifters have just the right weight to them and the intentional thin noise insulation from the engine helps with gauging the shift points without having to look at the tach! I close my eyes and I still can hear the pedal-to-the-metal-here-I come straight six noise! I did BLR-Pune in 10.5 hours and Ahmedabad-Ajmer in 5 five. Without fatigue, I enjoyed it. Don’t ask me Pune-Ahmedabad time, you. Some chap crashed his truck in a tunnel near Lonavala taking two out of three lanes. While on the highway, I used cruise control extensively. It is fun to use. Just flick the +/- button and it changes the speed by 10 km/h. Have a need to decelerate quickly? Flick it multiple times and the car utilises engine braking and brakes (?) and slows down. Impressive to say the least. Even if there is no time to use the speed control on the steering, Brembo brakes are stupid sticky and boy, oh, boy, they work! The gripe I still have with this car is the lack of fit and finish. The rattles from centre console sometimes are too much because everything else contribute to the silent drive. Those can be fixed by sticking latex strips here and there. I think E60s were better in this department. Overall a great car to own. It returned about 14 km/l over 3000 km journey. Costs about 15k to change filters and engine oil annually. For a car with a big motor that delivers endless joy, I think it is a small price to pay (Nexa charges a client 11k for her Baleno’s annual service). I have an automatic 2014 LE 5DR Hatchback with a little over 60K miles and I want to take it in for service. I bought the car used at around 40K as-is from Hertz and have no idea what the service history is. I did take it in for a pre-purchase inspection and no problems were found. I haven't had any problems at all with the car.
I can't find a detailed service schedule for my car. Most service schedules I've seen online are to change the oil and filter and then have a lot of stuff inspected.
I plan to take the car to an independent auto center and I'd like to give them a list of thing to change, replace, and/or inspect, rather than to ask them to look around and see what they can find! I've put together the following list from an old Honda Civic service schedule. Is there anything else I should add to the list?

Hello everyone, I own a 2013 2.0T with an Automatic transmission. I’ve been trying to diagnose a possible turbo and transmission issue. While driving I lost all turbo pressure. When I press on the gas it goes from the negative to 0 and will not go past that. I can hear the turbo faintly trying to spool.
Then it began revving really high before it would change gears. I basically have to push the gas petal all the way down for it to rev high enough to shift. It barely goes 60mph and will only shift to 4th gear. It also idles over 1k rpm.
I have no check engine light on. I also took it to the mechanic thinking it was a bad turbo but he said he took it apart and it looked in good condition.
Does anybody have any ideas of what could be causing my issue?
