My boyfriend and Ive been dating each other for over 9 years now, during the initial 2 years he lied to me about being with a girl before, used to talk about other girls everyday, always praised about them to me that they were beautiful and how he could easily get any of them, turned out all of it was a lie because he was insecure about me, and was scared that I might leave him. TL;DR: If you ever break S-CPU-N PIN 112, you can file down the CHIP to uncover part of the trace, to reattach it to it's original trace on the board. If the original trace is gone as well for some reason, you can just attach it on the feet of PIN 113. The traces are connected on the motherboard.
I recently bought a pretty much f****ed up 1 CHIP 01 PAL SNES for about 15 dollars. From the outside it looked good, but the inside was what will haunt me for years now. Extremely dusty, dirty, and someone tried to do a SuperCiC Mod with it.
The board was installed below the cartridge slot and in place. He probably went to lift the needed pins, started with PIN 111 on the S-CPU-N (the 1Chip basically) and ended his/her journey there.
PIN 111 and 112 were missing. Both broken.
Thinking I bought trash, I heard that the black surface of that, and basically almost all Chips, are just covers / mantles. (Never thought about it and I am modding for years now and am actually an IT guy... wow)
Since it's destroyed anyway, there's nothing left to lose actually. So I went ahead and filed down the chips until both traces were open. Since the spots are awfully tiny, I accidentally filed a small part of 113 free as well... (oopsie... would have made it easier if I hadn't)
Originally, since the trace in the pcb of PIN 112 was missing as well, I took another one chip i had and checked where i could connect the trace of the chip itself to on the broken board.
I checked every possible place, and I never got a response from my little beeping device. :(
I then checked the PINs of the S-CPU-N as a last straw and there it was. The beep on PIN 113.
Back to the broken board I immediately checked if I could just solder the traces on the chip itself... but nope. There was some sort of resistors in between both traces on the chip for PIN112 and 113.
Not a big deal, I could simply connect it from the inside to the outside feet which is connected to the board. Right? RIGHT???
Holy cow... since I also had to work with PIN 111 it was pure torture. The space is so god damn tiny holy macaroni. A smaller iron wouldn't bring up enough heat marriage both, the solder and the copper trace on the chip... and I really don't want to f this up. So I had to work with a bigger one that was just able to get in the gap. Since I had to use a bigger Iron, I would always touch both traces ...
So there were cases where I combined PIN 111 to PIN 112, 112 to 113 and once all three. Eventually I got it, checked if anything touched anything it shouldn't and got the responses I was hoping for.. no Beeps on the chips, beep on trace 112 to feet of 113, no beep from 112 to 113 on the chip. perfect.
I installed the missing LED, the ghosting fix and put everything back together again.

Oh and he melted the reset button so it's non functional and ripped off trace 10 where the old CIC sat.... holy moly never had a device in such da state. On the other side, I just do it as a hobby.
I fixed the reset button by cutting it open, bending the plates so it looks like how it should and sealed it again afterwards.
One last thing to add: All PAL 1 Chip consoles I had so far weren't too bright. I am using a normal PAL RGB Cable and I didn't need to do the brightness fix on the consoles (adding three 750 ohm resistors). The image brightness looked exactly like the one on the US 3 Chip I had. I compared the games using my two capture cards side by side. Both CCs are internal Live Gamer 4Ks.
Normally, a 1 Chip console is naturally a bit too bright, causing colors to blend in where there should be two different color tones f.e...
Okay! Hopefully one time, one lonely wandering soul in the same situation as me can read this and grow hope again to fix the mess he/she is facing.

Unless you were at fuckin age when TRAPSOUL came out, this is some of yall's first real love making full album experience. This album will be a refreshing break from all the soft sensitive shit playlists that we've been fucking to recently. This is not a concrete guide; this is merely a good starting place. At the end of the day, trust your instincts.
To put it plainly, this is a fucking album. This ain’t a making love album. If you are trying to wife a hoe and be on some spiritual soul searching shit, pop SZA back in. This one is for the hardcore ham slappers.
Ye and Ty constructed this album for the players. I’m gonna take you through the album and let you know where you should be by the time each track comes on.

1. Okay, so you got homegirl over at the crib. 3. Get into the makin out/undressing phase. Someone should be getting domed up by “PAID" This is imperative to the timing of this album. When you hear PAID, make sure someone’s lips are on some gentials. Either her or you. Don’t matter. For all you rookies, you might have to eat some pussy first in order to get this thing rollin. For all my freaks who could get some dome from the Queen of England in the wintertime just because they game that tight, you already know how to proceed.

Ratio - this technique allows the user to project imaginary lines on the target to forcibly create a weak spot at the ratio point of seven to three.
CTR - the reversal of this ability enhances the spot instead of weakening it.
Extension techniques - it expands the target of the technique from just physical objects to souls and cursed energy.
Domain - the user gets full buff from ratio. The entire body, soul and CE are enhanced by reversal as long as the domain is active, while the target's body, soul and CE are weakened. Inside the domain, technique's effects are constant and they ignore the 7 to 3 ratio rule

Getting Deadly Premonition to work on the Steam Deck through its native PC port has been an absolute nightmare. Thought I'd type up the steps here to try and save some of you poor souls the hassle if you ever want to give it a blast, but also, as safekeeping for myself in case I forget the steps I took in the future!
Following these steps to the letter SHOULD get you up and running. File locations assume you are installing the game to the Steam Deck's hard drive. If you are using an SD card you will need to adapt steps 6 and 11 to reflect the install directory of the game.

1. Install the game from Steam. Obviously. Don't run it yet.
2. Use the Steam settings menu, navigate to 'Properties' and then the 'Compatibility' tab. Choose Proton 3.16-9 from the dropdown.
3. Run the game and let Steam finish its installation. When the Deadly Premonition config tool pops out, just close down the whole game.
4. Head to Desktop mode.
5. Download this version of the PhysX installer. (version 9.13.0725 in case the link eventually goes down). Rename the downloaded file PhysX_SystemSoftware.msi
6. In the Dolphin file browser, navigate to: Home/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Deadly Premonition The Director's Cut/redist. Drag your downloaded and renamed PhysX_SystemSoftware.msi here, overwriting the existing file.
7. Download this file. It's basically a text file with instructions for Proton which we'll be using shortly. The file should be named vc1decoder.verb. If you can't find the download link at the github page, look in the top right for a download symbol which when you hover over it reads 'Download raw file'.
8. In the Dolphin file browser, move the vc1decoder.verb file to Home/deck
9. Open the Konsole app from the 'start' bar (I don't know what it's called in Linux!) and type the following line EXACTLY: /usbin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=protontricks com.github.Matoking.protontricks 247660 -q quartz qedit devenum /Home/deck/vc1decoder.verb
10. Konsole will start displaying some installation data - if any windows pop up just press ok to clear them.
11. Next, grab DPFix from here. Unzip the file and place the entire contents in Home/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Deadly Premonition The Director's Cut/
12. DPFix enables much improved graphics / resolution / texture injection / all sorts. You can edit individual settings by opening DPFix.ini in a text editor. Under the 'Graphics Options' section, make any desire tweaks - the file is really nicely annotated so you shouldn't need much help from me here. Under the 'Window Options' section make your settings read: forceWindowed 1 and borderlessFullscreen 0.
13. SAVE your changes!
14. Back to Game Mode. Use the Steam settings menu, navigate to 'Properties' and then in the 'General' tab enter the following command EXACTLY under the 'Launch Options' section: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d9=n,b" %command%
15. We're almost there, gang! Run the game. When the DP Config file boots, click 'Settings' and ensure Controller settings are set to default - any eventual tweaks will be done using Steam Input.
16. Boot the game - after the company and developer logos play you should be presented with a video cutscene / intro. If this is playing with sound / video, we're just about there. If all is well, quit the game one final time.
17. Back in the Steam settings menu, navigate to 'Properties' and then the 'Compatibility' tab. Choose either Proton Experimental (not tested) or the most recent Proton GE (I'm using GE-Proton9-5) from the dropdown. This step is super important as otherwise controls will not work properly!
18. Boot the game! Enjoy!
19. (If using the Steam Deck OLED, cap the framerate using the '...' button to 60fps otherwise physics in game will be busted.)

Heya all,
I've never played a Stalker game before and want to jump into it. For reference my favorite games are Fallout New Vegas, the Dark Souls series and 7 Days to Die. I couldn't care less about graphics, only that games have replaybility and are difficult enough to be engaging and retain attention. I LOVE survival horror and survival elements in general such as rationing items and ammo.

What do I do? I feel stuck, I love him but I feel like I'm a worse, sadder version of myself when I'm with him sometimes. I have dealt with some family issues with him and he has been with me through so much (throughout 7 years), I've been so stressed from college and family, he's been my rock. He knows every stupid thing I've done in the past, and for the first 2 years would make me feel bad for my past decisions I made as a lonely mentally and physically desperate teen that was used by boys. All I wanted was to be seen and wanted but I was used as an object since middle school until I met Him at 18. I regret the decisions I made and felt so embarrassed that he knew EVERYTHING. I'm not very sexually driven, but he is and I feel like he guilt trips me into doing things I'm not in the mood for.. but I've been raised as a people pleaser so I'm not sure if I'm just making myself feel like I have to or because he was visually express his disappointment until 75% of the time give into it to make him not sad.
We talked about this before and he has told me I never have to do it of I don't want to, but I can tell bt his facial expressions and body language that he actually doesn't care. I say this as I've seen and noticed how, I mentioned to him how much I read into facial expression, yet since then, I have never seen him so persistent by showing me how sad he is that I don't want to give him pleasure. And the second i say, i’ll do it or start something, he would get so excited and happy. Or am i reading too much into it?
I love our deep conversations about life and how we love to watch and analyze movies that have deeper meanings, but I feel like he doesn't value some of my ideas or opinions, trying to correct me on a thought I had or out do me. Sometimes I feel like he tries to attack my intelligence due to how easy it is and how self conscious I am.
I grew up having an optimistic outlook on life, especially due to trying to keep my family happy and make the most out of the time I had with my dad due to his constant deployments throughout my childhood. I get so excited over the little things, I feel so overjoyed by things like seeing hummingbirds close up to literally anything, but I feel like he makes fun of me for it. I love giving people compliments, from their nails to their stripped pants. It gives me the biggest smile to see their face light up. But why do i feel like I can't be myself around Him? I feel like I'm too much and have to calm down so he doesn't judge me or look at me with a condescending look.
I understand that we need to feel sadness from time to time, but there's something about picking out the little things that gives me thr biggest smile.
I told him how I feel about how certain things make me feel. I'm a emotionally sensitive person and I will cry for making him feel bad. My bf found out and he doesn't trust me. He randomly checks my phone and I feel like I deserve it, I do. I led myself here. Title. I'm wondering specifically how his attainment and knowledge change him.
I mean likely, he would try to play things as similarly as he did before, up until he gets the Sovereign Immortal Fetus. Perhaps he flexes his refinement path attainment a little more in Lang Ya Blessed Land, but other than that, I don't think he plays it any differently. There isn't really a benefit comparable to the sovereign immortal aperture and physique.
That said, there would probably be some slight optimizations along the way.

• Killing Fang Zheng in order to get more aptitude with the blood skull gu
• Do better against the Bai Clan and the Tie Clan, maybe deal with Tie Ruo Nan earlier?
• Refine more strength path gu in Shang Clan, as well as maybe make a business out of it?
• Refine Second Aperture Gu by himself in the Three Kings Inheritance, with the resources to re-refine divine liquor travel, and then refine fixed immortal travel.
• He might be able to make more out of Dang Hun Mountain even as a mortal, with the SS inheritance.
• He probably will more in control during the 88 True Yang Building and get his hands on more of the luck path inheritance, as that can't be a bad thing. While he would have to spare Zhao Lian Yun and Ma Hong Yun in order for the reverse flow river arc to continue (as it was caused by HC and LH attacking Snowy Mt due to MHY), that's honestly not necessary.
• Less effort spent on fixing the zombie body, if he even needs to end up there (he has no need for wisdom gu with his memories, after all. More focus on collecting blessed lands and killer moves for his rampage post SIFG. Maybe try to grab Luo Po Valley as well, and build up his soul foundation.

After the Sovereign Immortal Fetus Gu, though, his opportunities would be endless. It's terrifying, honestly.

• With the aperture and attainment, he could scheme against Lang Ya Land Spirit and take control over the blessed land much earlier, straight away becoming rank 8 (assuming he gets to rank 7 quickly). And once he gets his dao mark accumulation up, he could probably rush rank 9 by then, and directly attack Longevity Heaven for Reverse Flow River, if he so wishes. It and the other secluded domains of heaven and earth are really valuable as rank 9 items, after all.
• Even if he can't, he could easily become one of the strongest psuedo-venerables ever. With his rank 9 killer moves using Dang Hun Mountain and Luo Po Valley it's actually over. Duke Who? Fang Yuan has fought venerables.
• Most importantly though, he would be able to build up his heaven path attainment early, and get a hold of rank 9 Fate Gu. Maybe even create rank 10 Destiny Gu, and control everything within the Gu World.
• Moreover, he could snatch the rank 9 fire gu, and either break apart Limitless's plans or aid him with the knowledge of his experiment. He could likely also seize Primordial Domain and become a venerable of all paths, blocking all other venerables from reincarnating.

That said, if shit hits the fan, he could have Zombie Giant Sun, Duke Long, as well as all of Longevity Heaven and Heavenly Court on his as as soon as they realise things aren't going to plan. What do you think?

My boyfriend and Ive been dating each other for over 9 years now, during the initial 2 years he lied to me about being with a girl before, used to talk about other girls everyday, always praised about them to me that they were beautiful and how he could easily get any of them, turned out all of it was a lie because he was insecure about me, and was scared that I might leave him. I was 15 when I got in a relationship with him and he was my first love, but whenever he would intentionally talk to me about other girls it would hurt me a lot, I used to cry a lot alone and it even caused me anxiety which persists till this day, it kinda broke my soul. Even though he apologized to me a lot and since that day never talked about any other girl, I still am not able to let go of the resentment and hurt from the initial 2 years. I’ll try to make an almost unbelievably long story, short. In early April I got a few quotes from the most highly rated companies in my area. Chose a company, said company offered me an upgrade to a Tosot Inverter Heat pump, and they had just ran out the Goodman two ton, two stage in the warehouse. I agreed to sign on the conditions my air handler was inspected and found to be in fully working order (4 years old).
April 19th install was done, kid set the inverter for 3 ton instead of 2, forgot to switch O/B on air handler. Easy fixes. Since then they have been to my house 6 times due to it not properly cooling. It cools, but it never gets to temp.
First visit, charge increased from 9.4 to 14. Second visit, testing and charge reduced to 6. Third visit, more testing, charge increased to 7. Over the phone with no testing at all I am told my Txv valve is bad and I am instructed to order a replacement. Fourth visit, Txv is installed. Fifth visit, charge increased to 9.4.
During all of this time I have been on the phone with tech service for both units, various other local companies, I’m checking all the boxes of my end for air flow, cleanliness etc.
I have yet to hear from my contractor. The last call was to find out what I really wanted in all of this. I simply don’t believe, based on several companies telling me, they completely screwed up installing the inverter heat pump with a high velocity system.
Any advice, maybe even a success story from a technician, or a similar story from a home owner, would be appreciated. Thank you.

After long time journey trying some headphones like meze's, focal's, DCA's, hifiman's etc finally i found my endgame headphone. Its' Sony's MDR Z1R. The guitar, the vocal, the double kick drum, everything is perfect. Z1R also can make all songs that i tested have a soul. Z1R also suit for all my favorite genres, like heavy metal, folk, rock, and kpop. Since it's expensive headphone, i will carefully deciding to buy or not. So, my questions is.. 1. Are the stock cable good enough? 2. Are there any good quality carrying case for travel? 3. How to store expensive headphone like this? 4. Are there any smaller size headphone that sounds like Z1R? I tried z7m2, but sounds different for me. (This is just curious question) 5. I also finding endgame iem, any iem sounds like Z1R? 6. Do i need dedicated dac/amp? I already have fiio ka17. 7. Does Z1R leak lots of sound? In this case, using hiby r4 low gain, 3.5mm cable at 90 volume. Thanks

For context yes, I am a person who loves this style of game. I've finished Elden Ring, Dark Souls 1 & 3, and Sekiro. I loved pretty much every minute of ever one of these games. I'm not especially good at them, but I'm persistent enough to have finished them.
The things I love about this game are:
The story: From soft have a very different approach to storytelling. The biggest difference between DS1, 2 +3, Elden Ring, and Bloodborne compared to many other games is that 98% of the main story has already happened. You're thrown into a world oblivious of all but a few small details. Most of the main players in the story are either dead, insane, corrupted in some way, or aged and decrepit by the time you find them. You read item descriptions and listen to NPCs mutter away giving you these little fragments that you piece together over time. But in amongst the main story there's individual characters that you come to know and watch as they play out their own story in the midst of what's happened in the world. These NPC questlines can be genuinely moving like Solaire in DS1. There's one in particular called Eileen the Crow that's truly, truly beautiful. She's a part of the main story but she also has her own arc aside from it, as do a number of other characters. It feels like the main story is like the mountain, but there are many different experiences and perspectives on what it means to climb it. Without giving too much away it's a story written in the Cosmic Horror tradition of Lovecraft or Thomas Ligotti, imo on par in quality with both these authors.
Combat: as with all games from this developer this game has a combat system that is incredibly well calibrated. Tight, responsive controls and one of the greatest parry mechanics of all time. You parry with a gun. It's very, very satisfying. It has some of the best weapons of any game I have ever played. Weapons have 2 different modes, each with a unique Moveset and play style. There isn't a bad weapon in the game. They are pretty much all viable to use beginning to end. It has a mechanic called Rally, where you have a short window to regain lost health by attacking immediately after you're hit. It has the effect of rewarding a hyper-aggressive play style instead of using spacing or a shield to be safe.
The atmosphere: incredibly dark, indescribably fantastic.
The levelling system: you do have to learn what's what if you're not familiar, but it's not hugely complex. You can grind to get stronger if you feel like you need to, but there's an upper limit as to how much this will help.
The difficulty: you will get smashed to bits no matter what. Especially if you're not all that familiar with Souls games. I had times when I thought I would never beat certain parts, but I also had times when I did after many, many attempts. That feeling rules. The game basically says ok sorry bud, I can see you like the game enough to have gotten this far, but if you can't do this then I'm sorry but you're just not gonna get to see the rest of the game. And as strange as it sounds it's always 100% worth it every time.
The sounds: beautiful, haunting music. Horrible, screeching enemies. Yelling in British. Brilliant NPC dialogue.
I definitely recommend this game. I give it a 9.7.

A DOCUMENTARY about a bizarre Texas competition to win a pickup truck has been given new life as a musical.
Directed by David Nelson and Jane Anderson, Hands on a Hardbody tells the story of an annual endurance contest where the last person standing with their hands on the vehicle wins it.
The musical is based on the documentary with each character getting a chance to share their story through song.
Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino refers to Hands on a Hardbody as one of his go-to movie recommendations.
“The documentary shows the people involved in the competition and explores what winning a car would mean to them,” Jane said.
“Most of the contestants were poor, out of work and struggling in some way.”
David said the main appeal of the musical was the fact it was inspired by true events.
“The show is based on real people and a real situation with themes that are relatable to everyone,” he said.
“The music used is country rock, which is both unusual and appealing for a musical.”
Both involved in theatre for more than 30 years, David and Jane have directed several musicals together including Kinky Boots, The Wedding Singer, The SpongeBob Musical and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.
Jane said Hands on a Hardbody appealed because she loved ensemble shows.
“It means all the cast get a chance to shine,” she said. “While each person comes to the competition with their own reasons in this story, there is a camaraderie between the contestants.
“They share an often-gruelling task of standing in the heat and going without sleep for up to four days.
“The people are real and the songs are inspirational, sad and silly, meaning the show will take you on a real rollercoaster of emotions.”
One of the main challenges, according to David, is the car.
“We need to create movement within a show that must have the characters with their hands on the car,” he said.
“And we need to create a car that is described in the synopsis as a character, not just a prop.”
