2024.06.01 09:37 CleanMeme129 The Legend of Camp Elliot

1853; the west was still to be tamed.
It was in this year we find the establishment of Camp Elliot. As you might know through some knowledge of niche history, this camp was founded by a caravan composed of twelve men all looking to set up their own settlement. The caravan was led by a “Jonathan Elliot”. He came from Seattle, back before it had even known that name. Since leaving the freshly dug out city, ambitions set on their own prospect, the company had already been travelling for about 3 days. In their overt ambition, they became careless. They had run low on fresh water, heads pounding and tongues gone dry.
So, temporarily pitched in the wilderness, Mr. Elliot decided to send out a six-man party to search for some. He told them to stay together and not to come back until they found at least a pail’s worth of water. The six men went out. They stayed out for some three hours, until the sun was in its crimson crest; and the search was becoming hopeless.
“We have to go back!” some had said. Others argued otherwise, sticking to what Mr. Elliot had instructed. To the latter, they caved; and it came to be a mistake.
It soon got pitch dark and they had nothing but matches to see some inches past their faces. A panic quickly ensued. Many were on the verge of a breakdown, almost certain they were lost.
Suddenly, there was a light. It was spotted first by the chief of the party. It was some ways off in the distance, pulsing in the night.
They quickly calmed, believing they had found their caravan once again. They approached, clambering over branches and rocks, scraping more than just their knees.
Before long, the light had become much more recognizable. It was a torch. The party chief ordered the other five men to prepare their rifles. They feared it to be anything. Hostile prospectors, moonshiners, perhaps a native tribe that had been left undisturbed or for that matter discovered. They walked covertly; coming to the edge of what turned out to be a clearing in the trees. In the clearing was a lake; Arrowhead Lake it would come to be known as.
Standing on its shore, there were people; practically a riot. A group of shirtless men were seen dancing around a fire, reciting chants and rhymes in their own special tongue. One of them held a large rock in their right hand, a pointed arrow in his left. The rest of the men seemed to be goading him, applauding him in this bizarre ritual.
These weren’t natives. They were pale as ice, eyes surrounded by darkness. Their hair was all but present. They almost didn’t seem human.
Just then, one of the party members fired. The battle was short, but one of the so-called “drunks” managed to take down one of the six men with a bow-and-arrow.
That is where the Arrowhead Lake received its name.
The remaining five of the party slept by the fire until dawn, not bothering to look over their attackers’ belongings until then. They were too busy in mourning over the loss of their companion.
The next day, what they found was, for lack of a better word, disturbing.
What they had thought was a rock in the hand of one of their attackers was actually a small green turtle. The man who had held it had cut it open with the arrow, leaving it limp, distorted, and bloody.
But that wasn’t the most unsettling aspect. The blood on its body wasn’t red. It was pitch black. Black as ink. As black as the night upon which it was gutted.
Believing it to be poison, the men threw the mangled turtle’s corpse into the lake; tossing it as far out as they could. A couple of hours went by, and Jonathan Elliot with the other six in the caravan had then found the party and the lake. A brief funeral and burial were held for their one fallen man as well as his attackers.
What followed was a conversation, a debate over what to do next. In the end, plans for a cabin were sorted out. The cabin was finished in 1855 and still stands on the Camp Elliot grounds to this day.
That is not where this tale ends, however.
After about a month of it being open, a strange power came over the camp. Each time that a caravan would stop to do business or even rest awhile, another person from the original founding group would have gone missing. They hadn’t died, they hadn’t moved on to elsewhere. They would just vanish.
Then another would follow. Then another, and another, and another. With each time someone would visit, the camp would be found in worse shape than it was before.
Then came one day in 1856: a caravan of travelling salesmen had come to the camp, looking to do some trade. What they found was a single person: Jonathan Elliot, the titular founder of Camp Elliot. He was found tucked beneath his bed, cradled himself into a ball, malnourished and in bad health. Members of the caravan described a look of pure madness in his eyes as he said something over and over. It was a single phrase, hard to make out, but it was something like, “NO GOLD HERE! NO GOLD HERE!”
He never spoke any other words beside these. What with it being the era of the gold rush, the claim from the sales caravan upon returning to Seattle was that a group of maddened prospectors had attacked the camp in search of gold, killing all except for himself. They would have brought him back to Seattle with them, but in a fit of hysteria, he put a rifle in his mouth before they could.
In the passing of time since then, the camp has been claimed by many other groups, each coming and going. At one time, it was a trading post. Then it became a mine again but no ores were ever unearthed. So it seemed that Elliot was right. Then finally, in 1916, it became a Boy Scout camp; and so it has been ever since.
As for the mystery of this place, there is something about it they often say. On certain nights, ones where the lake is its darkest and the moon and stars are almost extinguished, a shadow arises.
Nobody knows who of. Nobody knows what of. All they know is that it utters an ungodly sound, a sound that resembles nothing of this earth; nothing of this reality.
Some who have seen the shadow are often too afraid to describe what it looked like. Others have not even lived to tell others. But their suicides have confirmed their experience.
Now why do I write all of this? Because I have seen it. I was a counselor at Camp Elliot. The night that I saw it, it was just outside my window; staring me down like a wolf as I lay in my cot. Though I apparently had the mental strength to take it, to describe it in full would go against my superstitions. I care too much for others to risk you all sharing in my experience. But I will admit this: that no primal beast on this earth can bring such feelings of helplessness and desolation as the crimson gaze of its plate-like eyes.
And I felt all the more helpless the next morning when I came to find that another child had gone missing. They searched in all manner of ways for months and the case remains open; as do the others that preceded it.
The shadow exists. Likely borne of whatever unnatural and unholy ritual was performed at Arrowhead Lake; a ritual the caravan had unknowingly completed. It has taken men, women, and children; and it will continue to take more. That’s why now, all I can do is lobby to finally close that damned camp for good. It is the one piece of land I think in all the West that can never be tamed…and it never should be.
Knowing all these things, I realize now that Jonathan Elliot was right.
There is no God at Camp Elliot. Not until Judgment Day.

2024.06.01 08:52 ammodotcom History of Wolf 6.5 Grendel Ammo

Known for its low-cost ammo formerly manufactured in Russia, Wolf's best-selling calibers are steel-cased 7.62x39mm and .223 Wolf. Wolf is an importer of ammunition that is manufacturer agnostic, as well as brass and steel agnostic. When you see “Wolf Gold,” all that means is that these are brass cartridges.

Where Is Wolf Ammo Made?

Contrary to popular belief, Wolf Ammunition is not a Russian company. They sell ammunition once manufactured in the famous and historic Tula Cartridge Plant in Russia’s Tula District. This plant is owned by High Precision Systems, which is a part of the Rostec Group of companies, with a majority ownership in the hands of a holding company owned by the Russian Federation. TulAmmo is likewise manufactured at this facility. The plant is not to be confused with the Tula Arms Plant, which is a separate entity owned by the same holding company in the same region of the Russian Federation.
Another place Wolf manufactured ammunition was at Lugansk. However, this factory was destroyed in the fighting between Russia and Ukraine. Some of the steel-cased ammunition is made in Russia these days, but none of it is made in Tula. Wolf also imports brass-cased ammo from Taiwan, such as their Wolf Gold .223, as well as importing ammo from the same factory manufacturing Prvi Partizan.
Rostec, High Precision Systems and the role of Tula in manufacturing ammunition for the United States market and the Soviet war effort has quite a detailed history. Like all ammunition manufactured by Rostec, the emphasis is on the high-performance, tactical ammo capable of reliable use in combat situations.
The American company is affiliated with Sporting Supplies International. Wolf Performance Ammunition was founded in 2005, making it a baby in the world of American ammunition manufacturers. They also partner with SK Jagd und Sportmunitions Gmbh (also known as SK Hunting- and Sporting-Ammunition) to manufacture some of their .22-calibre rimfire ammunition.

Tula vs. Wolf

Wolf is no longer manufactured in Tula, and hasn’t been for some time. In 2009, Wolf brand ammo ended their relationship with Ulyanovsk Machinery Plant and Tula Cartridge Plant due to legal disputes between the parties. Wolf now uses suppliers from the European Union to meet their needs. The Wolf ammo website and TulAmmo both issued emails in 2009 that did little to clarify the situation beyond the fact that TulAmmo is not Wolf and Wolf is not TulAmmo.
Part of the confusion stems from what precisely Wolf and TulAmmo are. Both were manufactured at the same plant and made to the same specifications. Upon importation, they were put into different boxes with different logos and different brands. However, on the inside, they were more or less the same ammunition. While in some cases they might have been exactly the same ammunition, they ceased to be functionally identical when Wolf ended their relationship with the Russian manufacturer. Hence the statements from both organizations as to their difference.

Wolf Ammunition vs. The Taliban

The history of Wolf Performance Ammunition (also known as WPA) is tied very closely to the ammunition shortages of the 2000s. This is particularly true of the 7.62x39mm ammo, which sometimes doubled in price and in other cases, vanished from American shelves entirely. The shortage was a result of the Venezuelan military adopting the AK-103 as its standard issue rifle. They placed a massive order, as did the United States military in an attempt to supply the newly formed Afghan Army with the ammunition it needed to secure the countryside.
Make sure your favorite 7.62x39 rifle never runs dry and get some bulk 7.62x39 to keep stored up for a rainy day!
Between 2003 and 2005, the Taliban experienced a resurgence in Afghanistan, requiring a response from both United States troops and the Afghan Army they support. The insurgency was easily crushed, however, the large ammunition order stood. What’s more, the United States and Afghan forces were constantly engaged in mop-up operations against the failed Taliban insurgency.
In January 2006, the United States military began sharing its role in Afghanistan with a multinational NATO force. This prompted another Taliban insurgency requiring, once again, more ammunition supplied by Wolf and other ammunition manufacturers. The fight against this insurgency was far less clear cut and one sided, but the NATO forces obtained many tactical victories and was able to deny the Taliban territory.
Later in 2007 and 2008, Wolf’s steel-cased .308 rounds disappeared from shelves across America. 7.62x51mm NATO rounds were likewise disappearing, pushing .308 Winchester rounds to the highest prices they’d ever seen. The Afghan Army order once again played a key role in driving up prices.
2007 was indeed a rough slog for coalition forces in Afghanistan, largely the British Royal Marines. It was estimated that the Taliban was 10,000 fighters strong at this point, with between 2,000 and 3,000 of these being dedicated, full-time insurgents. Again, tactical victories were the order of the day, but the Taliban always seemed to bounce back. 2007 was also the high water mark for foreign insurgents in Afghanistan. The next year was likewise described as “precarious and urgent” by Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown increased the number of troops in the country.
While many stateside have forgotten about the War in Afghanistan, it is directly responsible for a shortage of ammunition and the attendant rise in prices.

Wolf Brand Ammo

Wolf sells centerfire ammunition for rifles in more than a dozen different calibers and in three different lines of product. Popular lines Wolf Polyformance and Military Classic Rifle Ammunition are for sale in the calibers most commonly associated with the military – including Wolf 5.56x45 ammo, .223 ammo, .308 Winchester, 7.62x39mm, 6.5mm Grendel and others. They sell bullets that are bimetal or copper jacketed and configured as full metal jacket, hollow point or soft point. The cases are steel with a polymer coating, and can be found with both Berdan and Boxer primers.
Ammo for the Wolf Gold Centerfire Rifle line is distinct from other lines they sell, as the cartridges have brass casings and Boxer primers. The same style of bullets are sold in this line, but they also include options for match hollow points and multi-purpose tactical bullets.
Wolf also sells centerfire pistol ammo in all of the most common calibers – including Wolf 9mm ammo, .40 S&W, .45 ACP and the increasingly favored .380 Auto. These cartridges come in the steel-case lines of Military Classic and Polyformance, and the calibers can also be found in the Wolf Gold line, .32 Auto, .357 Mag., .44 Mag., and 7.62 Tokarev.
Wolf Ammunition also carries .22 Rimfire ammo. You can find .22 Long Rifle Wolf Ammo with 40 grain bullets, offering three types of bullets for the .22 LR: round nose bullets, flat nose bullets, and hollow point bullets. The ammunition itself is available in many different types including Standard Plus, Match, Rifle Match, Pistol Match, High Velocity and Subsonic.

Wolf Brand Ammunition and Lacquer Coating

It is a misconception that Wolf Ammunition uses or has used lacquer coating on its rounds, in particular on the cartridge casing. This is not true. Wolf instead uses an acrylic-polymer coating, transitioning from a clear coating to a frosted style coating several years ago. Some people thought this was lacquer and that it melted while firing, despite the fact that it was neither lacquer nor even a substance that would melt when a blowtorch was taken to it. All Wolf Ammunition is in complete compliance with SAAMI standards, meaning that it is completely safe for all purposes – from plinking in the backyard to competition shooting to hunting.
With Wolf's extensive variety of ammunition, they will likely remain a popular choice among shooters looking for low-cost, quality ammo. This is particularly true of people looking for Wolf bulk ammo – a common choice for preppers, plinkers and competition shooters alike.

FAQ

Where is Wolf ammo made?

Although Wolf ammo is an American company, its ammo is manufactured all around the world. For a period it was made in Tula, Russia at the Tula Cartridge Plant, the same place that makes TulAmmo. Wolf gets some brass from Taiwan and imports cartridges from the same Serbian factory that makes Prvi Partizan. Currently, most of the supplies for Wolf ammo comes from the European Union.

Who makes Wolf ammunition?

Wolf ammo is owned by Sporting Supplies International, an American company located in Anaheim, California.

Is Wolf and TulAmmo the same?

Wolf and TulAmmo are not the same. But from 2005 through 2009, Wolf was manufactured at the Tula Cartridge Plant in Tula, Russia, the same plant where TulAmmo is made. Wolf ammo and TulAmmo ammo shared the same configurations and were made the same way. Since Wolf has left the Tula plant, these ammunitions are no longer comparable.

Is Wolf ammo corrosive?

Like other modern commercial ammo, Wolf ammo is non-corrosive. That being said, it is “dirtier” than traditional brass-cased ammos and if your firearm is not properly cleaned after use, it can cause a buildup inside the barrel that may lead to corrosion.

Can Wolf ammo damage guns?

Wolf ammo features steel casings and steel is much harder than brass. This means, over time, it may cause more wear on your barrel than brass casings. In modern firearms, this is most likely minimal. Another reported problem with Wolf ammo, and steel casings in general, is that they tend to be “dirtier” than brass-cased rounds. When this crud is left in the gun, it can lead to corrosion. If you clean your firearm after shooting, this shouldn’t be a problem.

Why do shooting ranges ban Wolf ammo?

Wolf ammo comes in a steel case. Like most steel-cased rounds, it also features a steel jacketed bullet. This makes the bullets extremely hard, much more so than lead and copper, and can damage the backstop in many ranges. If you want to stick with steel casings, opt for Winchester’s Forged ammo, which feature steel casings with brass jacketed bullets.

2024.06.01 01:35 commanderAnakin Rewriting Fallout 4, here's what I've got so far.

Intro
It is October 20th, 2077. A couple of days before the Great War. Player exits out of their car to their new home (which was the Sole Survivor’s home) in Sanctuary Hills. Player interacts with Quick Rollin’ Moving employees. Player now gets the option to decorate and build inside their home (this serves as a tutorial for the building mechanics, except for the “survival” aspects). After Player finishes decorating, the Vault-Tec Sales Rep comes to the door. This is where Player chooses their SPECIAL stats, gendecharacter, traits, and tag skills.
Traits include:
Anchorage Veteran (Gun accuracy is increased, at the cost of guns breaking faster)
Kevlar (Damage from bullets is reduced, at the cost of other sources of damage doing more)
Wanna see me do it again? (Character movement speed is increased, while AP is decreased more)
Wild Wasteland (Pop Culture references, functions like NV’s)
Gameplay changes are also as follows: VATS freezes time, no voiced protagonist, and none of that horrible dialog wheel.
Your neighbors will visit you at times, bringing gifts like food. One of your neighbors, Greg Michaels, will invite you over to his house for shooting in his backyard on October 22nd, 2077 (the player can decline this, kindly or rudely. This affects the players reputation). Greg is a very ecstatic man, very happy to meet someone new, and had served in the Annexation of Canada years back.
Player also has the option to completely skip the intro by interacting with a clock (this skips to October 23rd).
On October 23rd, the nukes fall by the hands of the People’s Republic of China. Player flees to Vault 111, and them and their neighbors are frozen for 210 years.
It is now 2287, and the Vault computer opens your pod in particular. You have been chosen to go into the Wasteland and find a “Cryogenic Nuclear Battery” for your Vault. Every other pod is sealed shut. The Vault Computer needs the experiment to keep going on, and can not be reasoned with.
Player exits Vault 111, and finds Sanctuary Hills. Their house is now abandoned, with the same furniture you left in it still there. The atmosphere is also a bit more greenish than before, with more ambient noises familiar to Fallout 3’s. This is where you meet Codsworth, who was Greg’s Mr. Handy. He is a companion you can have later on.
Player goes to Red Rocket Gas Station and meets Dogmeat who can be a companion as usual. Player goes to Concord and meets Roger Nelson (who replaces Preston Garvey) who is defending the Museum of Freedom from a Raider gang called “The Conquerors.” Roger is an old man, and had served in the Commonwealth Provisional Government Army for 54 years now (He is 75). He is a Captain of a small platoon. He has gray hair, has a “pencil mustache”, wears a blue beret, and CPG combat gear. When you first see him, he is cursing and swearing at the Raiders down below him while firing his Assault Rifle (Fallout 3) at them.
He doesn’t see you at first, and retreats inside before he can. Once you go into the room you would usually meet Preston in, Roger aims a revolver at your head while other CPG soldiers aim their guns at you. They quickly realize you aren’t a Raider, and you have a moment to explain yourself. Amongst the people in the room, there are also settlers in there who had to find refuge with the CPG soldiers.
Explanation of the state of the CPG
Player: Who exactly are you?
Roger: We’re the Commonwealth Provisional Government. Part of its army. I’ve just lost a shit ton of soldiers in this platoon. Shit’s real bad right now…
Player: What’s going on?
Roger: We’re currently at war with the Fenway Empire. We’ve been taking heavy losses as of late. I’m starting to lose hope, and I think everyone is too. And now on top of it, these damn raider scumbags are attacking us! Makes me pissed.
Player: How did this war with Fenway start?
Roger: The CPG had started more down south from here, in Quincy. It’s been around longer than I’ve been around. Founded in 2199. But I’m getting off topic.
In short, the CPG wanted to expand more up north years back in 2282. The CPG wanted to integrate Diamond City, the now capital of Fenway, into its grand expanding nation. However, Diamond City wasn’t so… cooperative. They were sticking to their guns, and became threatening against us. They soon founded the Fenway Empire, and got other settlements and cities on their side to counter the CPG in case of war.
It finally came to a boiling point 3 years later. Those Fenway assholes attacked the city of Rexton. Two superpowers, both fighting for control. If it was up to me, I would go out and kill that bastard “President McDonough” myself. I just want to light his fat ass up with lead.
That’s what I’ve got so far.

Penix Tears - PvP : High Loot : Black Market : BotShop : Gym
Penix Tears is an all PVP Scum server that focuses on a balance between raiding, looting/grinding, and PVP. The bot shop will help with basic needs, but you'll still need to get out of your base and explore to get fully equipped. Our goal is to provide a fun server with a variety of ways to play.

IP: 149.88.100.81:7022 Host: GGHost (US Central)
Discord: https://discord.gg/PenixTears

and here: https://scum-map.com/en/map/penixtears
Key features:
100% PVP – The entire map is PVP, except for a few traders and the gym. Squad Size Limit: 10 players
Factions – Fight across the map to overtake Points of Interest (POI) and earn valuable BotShop discounts for you and your team.
Active Raid Hours – No more waking up to find your base was offlined at 5am! Active raid hours and controlled base damage means more intense raids and forced conflict! Weekdays w/ extended weekend hours. Also, check out the weekend only raid area. Can only play on the weekends? Build in this area and your base can only be raided on the weekends. As a trade off, building in this area means you can only raid on the weekends as well.
Build Most Anywhere - Except for bunkers and POIs, building is pretty flexible. With a full squad and expansion pack, build your dream house with plenty of elements. One flag per squad, plus another that can be used during a raid. Not enough? Each squad also get five extra flags in the Wastelands.
Wasteland – Designated, high-risk zone with extra flag limits and almost no rules! Mines on roads, bases on bridges or key resources--all allowed! Wastelands also have a high rate of cargo drops and higher loot rates and higher item multipliers. Only the strongest trolls live here.
BotShop – Survival isn’t all about picking berries and whittling sticks! Skip the grind and gain immediate access to basic, non-overpowered items to set up quickly and comfortably.
Black Market Trader (C2) – For the daring, make your way to this high-risk trader for increased sales profits and access to important and powerful items only available at this location. Or setup to ambush players to take their candy.
Warzones - Rotating warzones for a place to meet and shoot it out. Warzones have a variety of loot for those willing to check it out.
Bunkers - Bunkers have even higher loot and item multipliers than the Wastelands. Need gear and weapons, these are the place to go. Just watch out for the crowds.
Quests - Turn in various items for unique rewards. For the hunters, turn in animal heads for cash and coins, exchange your pile of red handles for a black handle, etc.
Lottery – Everyone who registers gets entered into the lottery for a chance at good gear and equipment. There is also a blind raffle, full of useful items, but you won't know what you won until you claim it.
Gym - Need to build up your strength, level up skills like rifles, sniping, brawling, and awareness? Check out the gym. Everything you need to go from weak to ripped. Here's what a week and half in the gym can do for you:

2024.05.31 23:52 RedditAccount5453 Has “high capacity” mag ban or assault rifle ban been prosecuted?

I understand the import, sale, and manufacture of both assault rifles and >10 round magazines is banned, but not the possession or use of them. So technically, if someone moved to the state with multiple assault rifles, handguns with >10 round capacity mags, etc, this would be illegal as it is getting imported.
But no one is checking whether it was imported when you go to fire at a range or a competition or any sport. I assume they would only investigate if the gun was used in some other illegal activity such as a robbery or murder or something of the sort right? I wonder if the gun was used in valid self defense if it would still cause a problem?
Has anyone ever actually been prosecuted for this? Or is it just going to be case law some day when someone awful does something illegal and then also get prosecuted for this at the same time?
Additionally, I understand if a serial number traces back to a gun being purchased after the ban, and then someone becomes a resident AFTER the purchase date there is no way this couldn’t have been “imported” into the state. But if a gun was purchased from a different state legally before the ban, then someone becomes a resident after the ban date, how would the government even prove the gun didn’t enter the state before the ban date (such as staying with a friend) and before the person became a resident, meaning it wasn’t technically imported?

2024.05.31 21:30 Hayden247 Going Back: Chapter 20

Chapter list:
Chapter 20: Strangers and Walkers
3 months later:
Kenny was fishing on the river with John standing next to him, John had a satchel on the ground.
John had something to say. “You know it's nearly been a year since we came here?”
“Yeah, December now isn't it? Not hot anymore, now it's perfect here while up north it's cold winter.” Kenny replied.
“Yep, I'm keeping track. Guess being down here's paying off once more.” John said.
“Definitely, imagine being up in Ohio again, we'd be asking for a campfire inside a house instead of fishing here.” Kenny replied.
“You’re right about that though I didn't mind it too much before but I guess living inside does that. Kept the house warm when I could.” John explained.
Kenny wore blue shorts and his white shirt as the weather was pretty mild, not hot or cold. John wore black pants and had a red shirt.
Kenny felt something. “Might have a bite here, hopefully it's a decent one for us.”
Kenny eventually caught a fish. “That's a decent one, I'll take this fish back to the house.”
John agreed. “Yeah, that'll do us nicely. Let's go.”
He put the fish in a bucket they had and they walked back to the house.
Kenny put the bucket in the kitchen, he knew John would deal with it there. He wanted to go back outside on watch. “I'll just go out on watch.”
“Alright, keep an eye out for Jack, he's outside being a guard dog since that gives him something to do.” John asked.
Kenny watched for some time, eventually he did hear barking though, barking that's probably from Jack. He went inside to let John know
“Hey John, Jack's barking at something outside, we should check it out.” Kenny told him.
“Alright, I'll get my gun. You go out there and make sure things are okay, he doesn't bark at thin air usually.”
Kenny with his rifle ran over to where Jack was, It was out towards the fence out the front where there was a herd of walkers with some trying to get through the fence.
“Shit, walkers.” Kenny commented.
John soon came over with his pistol and was wearing a satchel. “Walkers? We need to deal with them because I don't like the idea of them breaking down our fence trying to get over it.”
“No shit. I don't want to die in a herd but we need to kill these things, gotta shoot them.” Kenny replied.
“Agreed. I let Christa know we were out so if she thinks we need help, we'll get it.” John said.
John then whistled to Jack. “Stay back!”
Kenny and John then started shooting the walkers, first on the fence but then the others too. This did attract more of them to get through but they were shooting enough. However they did need to reload and while they were, a walker managed to break part of the fence and push the rest down, getting through. Jack However ran to the walker and bit it's head while It was still crawling and then came back.
“Good boy. Alright Kenny, let’s get the last of them.” John said.
The two shot the last few remaining one by one.
Christa came over, she wanted to make sure they were okay. “You guys okay? I heard a lot of shooting.”
“We’re just fine, can’t say the same about the dead over there though.” Kenny said as he looked at all of the dead walkers.
“So you made a bunch of noise by shooting them all?” Christa questioned.
John piped in. “Yeah, as you can see there were a lot and they were at our fence breaking it down. Was not safe to take them quietly.”
“That’s fair, but this is why we need bows or something ranged that is quiet though.” Christa suggested.
Kenny wanted to make sure no walkers were going to come after being attracted by the noise. “We should keep an eye out for any walkers around who heard our guns, kill them quietly to make sure it is safe.”
John agreed. “I’ll see if Jack can pick up the scent of any walkers.”
“Alright, I’ll come with you as we should find them that way. Christa, you stay here for any, or fix things up if you want to.” Kenny replied.
“Sure, a lot of walker bodies to clear out anyway.” Christa said.
John took a leash out from his satchel and put it on Jack. “Let’s go, Jack should be able to pick up any walkers around, by what I’ve seen with Jack, they smell even more to dogs than us.”
They went right which was away from the side of the river and walked along the road. They could see the side opposite of their house didn't have too many trees and they could see it was rather clear however their side was kinda like the woods, plenty of trees for walkers and unwanted guests to hide within though that also included the Flordian bushes and plants. Jack then barked, a walker came through the woods onto the road and Kenny went over and stabbed it dead with his knife.
“We should look for walkers in the woods.” Kenny told John.
“I agree, it seems like they're coming from there. Can't see any on the other side.” John said.
They walked a little more and found a trail that started from the road into the woods. They had been there before so they knew where it went.
“Let's go along the path for a bit, then after we'll head back.” Kenny suggested.
“Alright, let’s go there.” John replied
They walked for a few minutes and found a walker ahead.
“I’ll get it.” Kenny said.
Kenny then walked up to the walker and stabbed it in the head before it could do anything to him.
“Nice.” John commented
They walked a bit more and found a path to the right, Jack seemed like he wanted to go that way.
“Jack wants to go the path up there. We should go that way for a bit then we'll head back. John said.
They walked on the path and found a campsite. It was familiar though as they had been there before but this time was different.
“I think someone has been here, it wasn’t like this last time we were here. We should take a look around.” Kenny said.
“Yeah, looks recently used. Keep an eye out for walkers too.” John replied.
Kenny took a look at the campfire, It had a pot of boiled water over it.
“Hey, someone's been boiling some water here so they must have been here today.” Kenny said.
“Alright, let's not stick around here for too long then. I found a box of food and some ammunition so someone's definitely here. No gun though, they're definitely out there somewhere.”
Jack barked, they didn't know if it was walker or human but they were ready.
A walker walked into the camp and Jack went into action to tackle It down and kill it.
“Good boy.” John said. Jack came back and got a pat.
“You think that was our person living here?” John asked.
“No, they'd be fresh. This walker is nearly as rotten as the first ones.” Kenny replied.
“Yeah, you're right. We should go unless you've found anything new.” John suggested.
Kenny looked at an empty water bottle. “Not unless you need empty water bottles.”
“No, my metal one is doing fine. Let's get out of here then.” John replied.
The two walked out of the camp along the path, they kept an eye out for walkers. They had nearly made it back to the road.
“Been no walkers so far, I think we're clear here.” Kenny commented.
“Yeah, good. Wonder if Christa had to deal with any.” John asked.
“Probably, walkers seem to love noise. Dumb things think anything making noise could be their next meal.” Kenny answered.
“Unless it's a walker of course but yeah.” John replied.
“Guess they’re not that dumb to eat each other.” Kenny said to him.
They kept walking and Jack seemed to get more careful.
“What is it? Jack must know something's around.” John said.
Then they saw someone come out from the trees holding a dead rabbit. It was an African American woman but not Christa.
“That's not Christa…” John said.
“No, I'm not. Who the hell are you people? Best not be any kidnappers.” The 160cm (5’3) tall woman of an average build asked. She also wore a white I love New York shirt along with grey cargo pants.
“Excuse me? Do we look like kidnappers to you?” Kenny said back.
“No, sorry. I just had to escape from some people yesterday, fuckers nearly got me. I can see you guys got the advantage over me anyway…” She then looked at Jack who looked ready to defend Kenny and John if she tried anything.
John introduced themselves. “Okay, let’s be calm. I’m John and here’s Kenny. Dog is Jack, just be friendly and he won’t hurt you. We aren’t kidnappers of anyone, that’s concerning news actually.”
Kenny was definitely concerned. “Yeah… we had a guy a few months ago who lost his girlfriend and it seems like she was taken. We can’t have kidnappers in the woods, that’s dangerous.”
The woman seemed to be calmer. “Okay, you guys seem like decent people then. I’m Tracy. What are you guys doing this way anyway?” She asked.
“We were here looking out for walkers. We had to use our guns earlier to kill a group of them.” Kenny explained.
“So that explains the gunfire I heard off in the distance. You guys gotta be living somewhere then right?” Tracy asked.
“Yeah, we do and we don’t want any unwanted guests ruining it. But what are you saying?” Kenny said.
“I’ve been on my own for a long time but I’m too worried about the assholes I had to deal with earlier. Can I come with you guys? I can pull my weight, got food right here.”
Kenny sighed. “What do you think John? I dunno, I know Christia wouldn’t be jumping up and down excited for new people joining.”
“I know but I think we should let her come with us. I mean what if the guys she is talking about are the same from a few months ago? It’s the right thing to do.” John replied.
“Alright then, you can come with us. Just let Jack get a smell of you first.” Kenny said.
“Yeah, Jack, she’s friendly.” John said
Tracy then let Jack smell her hand and gave him a quick pat. Jack looked a lot more happy now.
“Thank you. Cool dog when he isn’t half ready to tear me apart.” Tracy said.
“Yeah, Jack is not a dog to be on his bad side. Seen him take down walkers. But don’t worry, he’s an attention loving thing to friendly people.” John explained.
They were about to start walking but Tracy had to do something.
“Could I just get a few things from my camp? It isn’t much so I’ll be back quickly.” She asked.
“Sure.” Kenny replied.
She walked off.
“Guess it was only a matter of time before we found another person out here.” John said.
She then came back after a few minutes with a box and they started walking.
Kenny wanted some extra info. “So what are these people who attacked you? How far away was it? Best if we know.”
“Probably about 12 miles west of here? Didn’t seem like they came from the area though, they looked too much like people on the move.” Tracy explained.
“Alright, guess going to the town that way is too risky now. Did they follow you? If they have any idea then I don’t want to lead them right to us.” Kenny asked next.
“No, I ran through the woods. Nearly got nabbed by some walkers but that should have slowed them down so I could lose them. I don’t think they made much effort after seeing I wasn’t an easy target to catch.” She said.
“Hmmm, I’ll trust you. Kidnappings sound too familiar anyway, they might not be new.” Kenny said.
“What do you mean? What happened a few months ago?” She asked.
“We found a young guy on a looting trip, turns out some group took his girlfriend and we managed to confront one of them. They were going north but if they changed their mind they might be back this way…” Kenny said.
“Shit. That might be right.” She replied.
John had a bad feeling “Yeah, we should really be on alert now. If we see more signs of anyone like that around it could be trouble.”
“That RV’s staying ready to move then. Just in case we get another motor inn situation…” Kenny said.
“Yeah, keep it ready. But let’s stay posted home alright? We’ll be fine.” John said.
“I hear you.” Kenny said.
They made it back home. The walkers had been dragged away from the property and the fence had been partially fixed. Christa was waiting.
“Heya, we’re back.” Kenny greeted.
“Hey Kenny, I wasn’t thinking you were going to bring back someone living…” Christa said.
Tracy spoke up “Hey, you must be Christa. I don’t mean to be trouble or anything. Got something to cook for you all though.”
“Well, you’re useful at least. But Kenny, what’s going on with her? Is she just staying with us now?” Christa asked.
“She actually has information you should know. Yesterday she had to deal with some people who tried to kidnap her west of here and she wanted to be safer with us. We need to know whatever we can if there’s assholes around.” Kenny explained.
“If she’s telling the truth, that's bad news.” Christa said.
“Yeah it is, blame John for advocating to do the ‘right thing’ though.” Kenny explained.
“Of course John would, old man cares more about being nice than smart.” Christa said.
“I hear what you’re saying!” John yelled back out to them as he walked to the house with Tracy.
“You can count on that about him. But Tracy seems alright for now, we’ll see how she goes and our problem kidnappers. You think they could be the same from a few months ago?” Kenny asked.
“Shit, maybe but it’s a stretch. Lots of people who aren’t exactly friendly out there. Regardless, they are a problem we shouldn’t ignore.” Chirsta told Kenny
“No, we shouldn’t. Tracy said they looked on the move but if we get anyone too close that could make it dangerous to stay here and we’d have to leave before we get attacked. I know the last time things went that late we lost people… my family. I can’t let that happen again but we can’t just abandon a good spot either. We have been doing well here.” Kenny explained.
“You are right about that, it would be a shame to leave. Just keep in mind that being a bigger group isn’t necessarily safer, remember that with anyone we find. We have worked together well just being a few and anyone who doesn’t work out well will be a determinant to us. But who was it? Tracy seems capable and if she’s useful then I can’t say no yet.”
“Yeah, she seems like someone who can stick it out alone, hopefully that doesn’t mean she’s one of them loners who don’t care about anybody but themselves.” Kenny replied.
Tracy soon came back.
“Hey, what’s the chatter here?” She asked.
“Just talking about how things are.” Kenny answered.
“Sounds like it, including me. But hey, I get it, I'm new and I'd do the same.” Tracy replied.
“You'll fit in then, Christa here is wary of strangers.” Kenny said.
“Yeah, because it's the living you need to worry about, not the dead. We should all know that.” Christa explained.
“Yeah, I'm more worried about the people who attacked me than any old walker.” Tracy replied.
“We're no refuge shelter but I'm fine with the others letting you stay. You don't seem like trouble and if there’s people out there who are trouble then you can help.” Chirsta explained.
“Thank you, I haven't been in a group for a long time so I'm glad I found good people. Just been me on my own for the past couple of years.” Tracy said.
“All of us have spent time not in groups, this barely counts as one.” Chirsta replied.
“Ha yeah, you three and then me. I've come across other people before who were no trouble but some people are like the last group.” Tracy said.
Kenny knew that as he had met new friends and enemies in the world they were in.
“Yeah, we just came across John and now he's our pal for example. Also came across people who would kill you instead.” Kenny replied.
Christa wanted to get back to the house.
“How about we go inside? No reason to keep standing here.” Christa suggested.
They went inside and went to the dining table since it had room for them.
John also came and sat with them. “Lunch will be served soon, cooking right now.”
“Thanks John, how is that garden of your's doing? You know more than us about it.” Kenny answered.
“Pretty well, herbs are doing okay and got some vegetables for the cooler weather growing or even ready. I'm better with the weather here than I used to. Let me tell you that a lot changes coming from Ohio when It comes to gardening.”
Tracy was interested. “You have a garden? Would be nice to eat more than animals and whatever wild plants there are for once.”
“Yep, consider me the chef who also sources his own ingredients. Well, Kenny catches the fish, he Is a fisherman and not me.”
“Commercial fisherman before everything actually. If we had a boat I could even go out on the lakes not far from here. Would be nice to spend the day out anyway.” Kenny explained.
“I know where a boat is, I actually used it out when I was at the lake by the town east of here. I was no good at it though, had to go back to shore.” Tracy told him.
“Well, show us the way some day if nobody has taken it. Worst case it could also get us off the mainland if it's capable enough but can be moved.” Kenny said.
Christa glared at him.
“It was just an idea, we're not going out to sea. Though I do wonder if there's some island that's a safe zone out there. Walkers can go underwater but they can't swim as far as I know.”
“I don't think they can. But sometimes they surprise.” Tracy said.
“They sure do, I remember being up on an observation deck and I heard it partially collapsed, well I remember hearing shit outside that they were climbing it and the rest had to be taken down. I didn't see though, I was actually helping a woman giving birth if you'd believe it.”
“Damn, that's quite a story.” Tracy said.
Kenny sighed “Yeah… the baby made it. AJ, hope you're doing okay in Wellington.”
Some time passed and John handed out their meals. “Eat up guys, meal of the day.”
Tracy looked at it. “Wow, looks like the best prepared food I've had for a while.”
John was happy to hear it. “Thank you, you are our guest so enjoy it.”
They ate their lunch, there was enough thanks to both the caught fish and rabbit along with things from the garden.
Christa had something to ask. “John, you made sure the generator is off?”
“Yeah, made sure not to waste the gas.” John replied.
“Good, fuel is only going to get rarer. Need to keep some spare.”
They kept eating.
“Can't say we had rabbit and fish at once much.” Kenny commented.
“Well, you gotta eat what you get these days. Besides, we've all done worse.” John replied.
“Yeah, better than starving in some old motel for example.” Kenny said.
Tracy knew when it got bad. “I've had bad luck sometimes, an actual meal is something to appreciate.”
John had a question. “Your shirt? Are you from New York or have you just visited?”
“Back in 2000, my parents, brother and I went on a family trip. We all got shirts there, It was better times… even saw the Twin Towers and got a really good view of the city from the observation deck.” She told everyone.
John knew “Yeah… It was better times. Who knew the new millennium would be so bad? Attacks and then the end of the world as we knew it. Hah, that Y2K nonsense was nothing.”
They chuckled. Kenny commented. “Yeah, people fearing everything with a computer would just break and things would fall apart. The dead rising to eat us was the real end.’
John was hopeful. “I don't think this is the end, definitely the end of the old world but I'm sure some day things will be better, society will return.”
Kenny thought he had a point. “Actually yeah, if places like Wellington can survive then maybe that's true.”
Tracy didn't know. “Wellington? That's that?”
“It's a community up in Ohio near Michigan. It's safe with big walls, could always be an option to go back to if we wanted to move on. They were full already but they did say things might change after a while and that was a year ago. But we are good here, let’s keep making it work if no one ruins it.” He explained.
“Sounds nice, though I would not like the cold.” Tracy said.
“Exactly why we're down here. Besides, Florida is my home.” Kenny replied.
“Yeah, Florida is the place to be!” Tracy boasted.
Christa wasn't impressed. “Ugh, don't get all… nostalgic.”
“Aw c,mon, it's still great. The winters are nice for starters.” Tracy replied.
“I suppose so.” Christa said.
John got up and got what was left of the food “Anyone want some second's or extra? Whatever's left has a dog who is going to eat it.”
“Sure, I'll take some.” Kenny said.
Tracy did too “Yeah, I'd like some more please.”
They got some extra food. John then put some down for Jack to eat which he did rather quickly.
Tracy had a question. “So, what do you guys do? Other than finding strangers nearby that is.”
John answered. “We survive of course, but I make sure to have some card and board games and things to do. Gotta have things to enjoy for life to be good, especially these days.”
“That sounds nice, I can agree with that.” Tracy replied.
Kenny was glad. “Good, then you two will get along just fine.”
“Sure, anyone who agrees is part of the crew.” John replied.
John had another idea. “Should we go over to the lake tomorrow? Can scout the area out, maybe catch some fish to sort out food and find the boat Tracy mentioned? Could be something nice for us to do while being useful.” John asked.
“Sure, I was already on board with the boat anyway, good idea to check it out. Probably boats that are towable on the lake since it is shallow too.” Kenny answered.
Christa didn’t object. “Alright, It’s actually a decent idea. And if we have company outside then it is a good idea to check things out.”
Tracy of course was happy with it.
Kenny was happy with the result. “Sounds like we’re going out to Lake Okeechobee tomorrow. Anyway, I'll take watch outside.
Christa was grateful. “Thanks Kenny.”
Kenny was getting up after finishing his lunch but John wanted to go outside too. “Actually I’ll go too, let Jack out again and I’ll give him some exercise, works to keep myself fit anyway.”
“Alright, go play with your dog. Jack is a good guard dog to make anyone question coming here and we need that.
Kenny went outside and kept watch in case of anything. Could always be walkers or anything else around. Regardless, it was nice weather to Kenny so it wasn’t bad, he just hoped it would be the same tomorrow.

2024.05.31 19:49 DaveHervey Cannabis Sales posted by Headset - States and Provinces - Last full month shown April 2024

Headset showing some North American markets changing? I was reviewing for TLRY sales in Canada, but I found some US markets had even deeper declines in some areas but others holding up. I'll list a few just for discussion. These numbers were posted by Headset for April, 2024. NY No YOY, Florida not shown YOY. I assume Headset used US$ thru out, as no mention of changes listed.
"CA's April sales reached $358.7m. Despite the engine of 420 powering record sales, total sales decline -1.6% from Mar. unit sales increased 0.3%. The beverage category continues it's positive growth trend."
YOY: CA $358.7M -7.0%, Flower -11.3%, Pre-rolls-4.0%, Bev+5.7%. YOY: Arizona $103.43M -13.5%, Flower -14.9%, Pre-rolls -2.2%, Bev -13.2%. YOY: Colorado $103.76M -9.6%, Flower -10.9%, Pre-rolls -5.3%, Bev +6.0%. YOY: Nevada $60.5M -14.7%, Flower -21.2%, Pre-rolls -3.0%, Bev -5.6%. YOY: Illinois $168.8M +5.5%, Flower +9.1%, Pre-rolls +19.3%, Bev +45.3%. YOY: Michigan $281.51M +14.4%, Flower +12.1%, Pre-rolls +44.6%, Bev +22.9%. YOY: Oregon $83.05M +1.2%, Flower -5.8%, Pre-rolls +12.2%, Bev +4.2%. YOY: Washington $101.32M -2.6%, Flower -1.6%, Pre-rolls -2.5%, Bev +3.4%.
"When compared to other markets in Canada, Alberta's cannabis market is robust, with sales outperforming British Columbia's $59.89 million and Saskatchewan's $15.80 million in April 2024. However, it trails behind Ontario's market size of $158.86 million. Alberta's year-over-year growth rate of 4.7% is notably higher than Ontario's -0.8% and British Columbia's -12.6%, and far surpasses Saskatchewan's -16.6%. This indicates that Alberta's market is not only growing but also outpacing several other provinces in terms of growth."
YOY: Alberta $75.97M +4.7%, Flower -5.2%, Pre-rolls +9.3%, Bev +10.4% Note - Tilray's: Flower: Redecan #1 @ May 16, Pre-rolls: Redecan & Riff 2 of top 4 & 4 of the top 10, Beverages: XMG 7 of the top 8 Beverages May 16.

2024.05.31 19:48 Hammy4738 Purchasing M1 in person from out of state

Hey guys,
I've eyeballed the CMP M1s for many years and I'm finally serious about buying one before I lose my chance. I'm doing the paperwork (former military/DD214, and new GCA member). I am not an Alabama resident.
Couple questions:
  1. If I choose one in person at the store, will they ship it to my home out-of-state for free?
  2. Do I have to pay sales tax in-person since I am not an Alabama resident?
I have the ability to fly to Atlanta for free, so I was debating doing that, renting a car for the 1.5 hour drive, pick a rifle, have them mail it to my home, and then fly back home. Otherwise I will just do mail order, or consider driving one way home.
I think I want a Field or Service grade. I mainly just want one to have one, and I'm more interested in the potential historical value. I do intend to shoot it, but not much. I have an M1A for that. I see only the Expert and Rack grade are available right now, so just trying to plan things out for when the one I desire comes back in stock.

2024.05.31 19:38 cmmcdow3ll [WTS] [WTT] Adventure Tech DNC DCU reversible jacket, Glock 19 Holsters: Sidecar and Ragnarok, condor battle belt, generic double pistol mag soft pouch, generic double mag rifle soft pouch

Timestamp: https://imgur.com/a/timestamp-gafs-31-may-24-8AXJeD1
I have:
  1. Trex G19 Sidecar, optic cut, no WML, coyote (old version) $75
  2. Trex G19 Ragnarok, optic cut (IIRC all ragnaroks are but don't quote me), no WML, coyote. $55
  3. Condor Slim Battle Belt (outer belt only) - $25
  4. RangeMaxx Belt mounted (2" loops) double rifle magazine & double pistol - $20 for both, or add-on for $7.76 - New cost is only like $15 ea, so not really looking to split and ship.
  5. Adventure Tech DNC/DCU reversible jacket w/ hood. Size Large. Really looking for a trade at this time on the jacket TV: $300? If you happen to have a size M, I would be willing to do a straight trade. It's *trading* though so please feel free to PM me what you've got.
    * * M57 is not for sale * *
I'm 69" tall, 175 lbs, athletic build. Fits well enough by itself but I think a M would likely fit me better, just too long for my short torso and long legs, I know a lot of people mod them but that's more than I'm willing to do right now. Holsters were purchased in 2017-2018, seen quite a bit of use. I just now have and run an x300 on my 19. Found an old battle belt and some belt mounted magazine pouches, been laying in the range bag for a long time, figured they could go to a better home. Used the belt for about 2-3 years, the magazine holders would occasionally get lent out at the range, but that's about all the use they've ever seen.
I want:
  1. Holosun 507c-x407c-xr
  2. G19.3 slide with an RMR optic cut
Will take Venmo/PayPal/Zelle, sorry no Cashapp. Pay today before, lets say 16:20 CST and I can *almost certainly* get it in the mail for you today. G&S is fine as long as you have more flair than me and eat the fee. Can send more pictures if yall want. Thanks for looking.

2024.05.31 18:52 ConsciousRun6137 First Strike Wetiko: Part I

Excerpted from my book Royal Bloodline Wetiko & The Great Remembering: Chapter 11: First Strike Wetiko
Religion and science simply serve as propaganda mechanisms through which the royal Anunnaki bloodline can usurp moral authority and control humanity. Laws and governments can then carry out their mandates without much outcry. But in the end, it is through brute force that the Crown has always maintained and expanded its geopolitical power.
Around 1650, the East India Company began to ship saltpeter from Bengal into England. An essential ingredient in gunpowder, the saltpeter trade grew steadily, experiencing a huge spike during the Crown-sponsored US Civil War.
Gunpowder can be seen as possibly the most important discovery in history for the Crown. It gave a whole new meaning to their neo-Darwinian “survival of the fittest” credo since now strength, speed, and agility had little to do with winning a battle. It was all about who had the most guns and ammunition. And it was no coincidence that the British Empire took off with the discovery of saltpeter.
The new credo for Pax Britannica was “might is right”. And in the hands of these wetiko psychopaths it was shoot first, ask questions later. During the nuclear era, this doctrine would become known as a “first-strike option”. That first-strike mentality was one of the many destructive “gifts” that the Anunnaki “gods” bestowed upon the human race.
Humans devolved from hunter-gatherers, to agriculturalists, to downright paranoid city-dwellers. Many adopted this first-strike mindset, which not by coincidence, meshed perfectly with the Crown’s capitalist and colonialist ways. It was also good for gun sales.
This first-strike wetiko is rooted in a fear of nature and a doubt as to the goodness of human nature. It is, at its core, a misunderstanding as to the nature of reality, where reciprocity and relationships matter more than competition and conquest. You could also call it Satanism.
In his book, The Way of the Human Being, former Rutgers history professor, Calvin Luther Martin gets to the core of this first-strike insanity. Martin spent time with both the Navajo and the Yupik people, learning far more than he ever learned at any Crown-funded university.
He uses the example of a European explorer, most likely funded by one of the monarchs of Europe. The man was hunting in Alaska when he came upon a brown bear. The bear was still quite a distance away and showed no aggression toward the hunter. But instead of talking to the bear and asking permission to pass its way without conflict, which any Yupik huntescientist would have done, the man simply raises his rifle in fear and shoots the bear dead, later bragging about his “bravery” and mounting the stuffed corpse as a trophy to his fear upon a palace wall in Europe.
He wasn’t educated enough to know that he had just fractured the entire relationship between bears and humans. He wasn’t brave enough to stand his ground while talking the bear away. He wasn’t man enough to let the bear live and go back to its family. Instead, he was a wetiko coward, well-trained by the Crown colonizers that had displayed these same traits over and over as they ransacked the planet for centuries.
All because they didn’t understand the nature of reality.
Humans did not act this way for hundreds of thousands of years. They only began acting this way after the Anunnaki intervention in Sumeria, which forced them into agriculture and away from any relationships they had with the natural world. The bloodline’s first-strike mentality has been on display ever since they landed here and it is the biggest clue that they are indeed not human. They came from a place of conflict in the universe and they brought with them the fear and mistrust which that conflict instilled in them.
Fast forward to today and you can see the carnage and misery that this dark Satanic mentality has wrought upon the human race. Divorce is rampant because many couples enter relationships with this mentality. The minute something goes wrong they get scared and defensive, blaming the other, while taking no responsibility for their role in the problem.
Paranoid Western governments sanction other governments whose policies aren’t in line with global Crown hegemony, often funding violent mercenaries to destabilize or even topple these independent states. Negotiation only occurs after the mercenaries have created enough carnage to gain an upper hand. Everything is calculated, not for peace and harmony, but for “victory”. But these are short-lived. Inevitably, the people remember what happened to them and rise up once again against neocolonialism and tyranny.
Conquest over nature is also short-lived. This is witnessed in our modern day by mass animal extinctions, the Mississippi River drying up, famines around the world, out-of-control geoengineered weather, and the like.
Martin tells another story in his book about a Yupik Eskimo hunter who got lost while hunting caribou. He eventually collapsed in the snow from exhaustion. A pack of arctic foxes came by and laid down beside him, surrounding him with warmth and keeping him alive until the weather had cleared and he regained his strength. The hunter told Martin that after this incident he was able to trap arctic foxes whenever he needed to. By understanding the reciprocal and relational nature of reality, this Yupik hunter thrived and had a rich life.
ROYAL BLOODLINE WETIKO & THE GREAT REMEMBERING
In his seventh book, Dean Henderson tracks the royal Anunnaki bloodline from Sumeria through Babylon, Egypt, and Rome to their current power base in the City of London and deconstructs their methodology to keep humans enslaved and isolated during this relatively brief period of human history. Drawing upon ancient Lakota culture to remind us who we are, Henderson sees a great remembering unfolding which makes this royal bloodline very nervous.

2024.05.31 10:09 ain92ru TIL Military Inter-Allied Commission of Control destroyed 5,855,979 German rifles and carbines, 104,804 machine guns and 425,000,000 rifle rounds after the WWI

I accidentally found some of the following numbers in the Soviet 1943 book "Vooruzheniye germanskoy artillerii" (Armament of German Artillery) recently and looked them up on Google Books. A more comprehensive table is provided on p. 58 of the July 1922 issue (PDF) of The Royal Engineers Journal, I digitized it with Gemini 1.5 Pro and decided to put not just it but a full quote here (with original sources) for everyone's convenience:
The Militär Wochenblatt quotes the following progress report on the work of the disarmament commission from the latest information supplied by the Reichstreuhand Gesellschaft:
Number. Destroyed. Remaining undestroyed in Store. to the Govt. or to the Allied Powers.
Rifles and Carbines 5,879,256 5,855,979 8,588 14,699
Machine-guns 104,477 104,084 14 379
Mine-throwers and Barrels 28,440 28,440 - -
Guns and Barrels 54,415 54,415 - -
Gun-carriages 27,869 27,869 - -
Loaded Shells and Bombs 38,770,000 35,400,000 3,300,000 70,000
Rifle and Hand-grenades 16,500,000 14,400,000 2,100,000 -
Detonators 60,100,000 59,300,000 800,000 -
Rifle Ammunition 468,000,000 425,000,000 35,000,000 8,000,000
Aeroplanes 14,014 13,381 4 629
Motors for Aeroplanes 27,711 24,045 15 3,651
(delivered up without destruction)
That amount would have been enough to fully rearm Czechoslovakian, Polish and Yugoslavian armies, equip the Finns very well with Russian weapons from Polish stores and still have some reserve for the US Army. However I presume Western military industrialists lobbied the destruction in order not to disrupt their sales (didn't really help them though because all these countries preferred to produce the weaponry themselves) while Western politicians didn't realize at the time that the aforementioned friendly Eastern European countries may need these weapons in the future.

2024.05.31 00:59 jokerisitic Degree Advice

Hey guys! Need advice on some things before I graduate.
I'm a Junior Economics student at Michigan State University in the US, I have already completed an Associate in Arts, and an Associate in Business Administration at Community College before transferring. I also have 3 years of sales and management experience. I have 4 semesters of schooling left in my Bachelors degree.
Here's the question- do I just finish my degree in Economics or take the next semester or two to get into the Finance program (I've done this the past 2 semesters, denied both times with a 3.79 and 3.81 GPA). What pisses me off about this is certain classes are restricted to me unless I'm in that program. However, outside of those few classes (Investments, Financial Management, Business Finance etc.) Economics is more interesting to me.
So given my two Associates (which primarily included a lot of Accounting, Business, and Math courses) and my sales experience will I do alright in Finance with an Econ degree? For a timeline I'll soon turn 21 and I plan on doing an internship next summer (not sure where).
Thanks!
