My friends and I enjoy higher powered pods. We are 100% proxy friendly just discourage Cedh builds. I’ve been playing commander for only a few months now, I have built several decks, and from what I’ve built they tend to just not feel right. It’s almost as the flow of the deck is off. I’ve had a lot of success with Izzet builds and storming off in the past however I struggle to build decks that aren’t storming off or decks without infinites. If you are aware of the reasoning behind this let me know so I can improve.
Here is the decklist:

2024.05.08 06:06 PJC10183 Management web-apps similar to web min?
Are there any good overall management apps for your server, similar to the likes of webmin?
Perhaps something that allows you to install packages, has plugins for configuration ie. nginx-proxy-manager etc.
It's been a while since I used webmin but I liked it at the time, I don't think its very visually pleasing these days. Another example may be CPanel.

2024.05.08 05:45 ZimmerFrameThief NGINX Proxy Manager GUI inaccessible when using wireguard
I haven't been able to find a fix, or post, for this - please feel free to point me in the right direction if my googling is poor.
I have setup wireguard to access my unraid and dockers when out of the house. I am able to access unraid gui and all the dockers/guis I am running without issue (as though I was at home - i.e. using local IP addresses) except NMP - all I get is the browser 'ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE'.
I have no issue accessing NMP at home - which is what I thought wireguard was meant to emulate - but not offsite though wireguard.
Any help would be appreciated.
NB: all dockers are running of a custom network (including NPM) and all on dedicated IPs.
Happy to provide any additional info that will help diagnose.

2024.05.08 05:31 No-Pilot-1252 Which Ai Image Generator would be best for consistent art?
Hard to explain exactly what I'm looking for so I'll explain what I want to do. Basically I want to make my own proxies for Magic for my buddies and I. The problem is I have no knowledge of digital art. So I've been playing around with mid journey and realized pretty quickly that I don't think it can do what I want.
Basically long story short is I want to make multiple different tokens as proxies such as a fairy or a soldier but I want them to all have a similar feel or art style like they're in the same universe.
What would the best way to go about this be? Which program would be best? Which ai art generator? Thank you all in advance :)

2024.05.08 05:28 Mord4k Space Marine Enemies
Has anyone worked up a stat block for enemy Space Marines/Chaos Space Marines. I want to use a Night Lord Claw as a enemies behind the enemies and I'm not having great luck finding something to proxy stat wise. I understand that since IM leans a little more "in lore" than "on table" enemy strength wise, one Night Lord is probably capable of tearing the three PCs apart, but that's not really fun and having them flee while a Claw of six hunts them through an Underhive is more what I'm leaning towards.

2024.05.08 05:10 raethryn Guy borrowing my Name and PE stamp number to make money designing plans
Today, I got a phone call from a pizza restaurant that is opening up. They asked me why I stopped calling them. I told them I had yet to learn who they were and that I was a civil traffic engineer. It turns out some guy is borrowing my Name and PE stamp number to make money designing plans. I have a fairly unique name (only one in the United States) and work for a public agency, so I am very easy to find.
I've done some homework on his email address (hiding behind a proxy) and phone number ( hiding behind a skype voip). I emailed him, and he said he was borrowing my ID to make money to feed his family and kids. He then offered me a kickback to set him up with my name and stamp to continue defrauding clients. He says he has clients already so he may be doing this with multiple PE stamps and numbers.
Anyway - I have contacted my state engineering board via phone and email as well as the state investigation entity. I am talking to the city and the pizza joint owners tomorrow to get more information. Not sure what else I should do at this point. Any suggestions?

2024.05.08 05:00 Andre3000RPI Yahoo Morning Briefing
Tuesday, May 07 📷
Good morning! The S&P 500 gained over 1% Monday. Disney headlines a big Tuesday for quarterly results, releasing its report card before the bell — an early day for the California-based company.
And once again, tune into
Yahoo Finance Live to catch our folks on the ground at the Milken Institute Global Conference in California. (And make sure to keep scrolling for a dispatch from Executive Editor Brian Sozzi.)
What we're watching 📷 Disney reports results: Disney
will report second quarter earnings before the bell Tuesday. With its
high-profile proxy fight behind it, the company returns its focus to other significant challenges, including the transition to streaming profitability. Investors will be watching any news about an ESPN streaming platform, Disney+ subscribers, and any possible updates about CEO Bob Iger's succession plan. Its stock is up 28% over the last year.
📷 2024's best three-day period: The S&P 500 notched its best three-day run of the year, closing 1% up Monday, as commentary from numerous Fed officials added to the good feelings brought on by the
April jobs report.
📷 Fed officials saying the right things: After April's hawkish commentary from a slew of Fed officials before the quiet period, central bank members are once again telling investors what they want to hear. New York Fed president John Williams and Richmond Fed president Thomas Barkin gave investors hope for 2024 rate cuts by soothing rate hike worries on Monday. Williams
said specifically that he thinks cuts will happen this year. But, of course, the officials reiterated the central banker mantra: They will be looking at the totality of data as it comes.
📷 A busy day of corporate results: Tuesday features a busy corporate calendar besides Disney. Lyft, Reddit, Match Group, Twilio, TripAdvisor, Ferrari, Crocs, BP, Celsius, Rivian, EA, and IAC also feature on the calendar. Something for everyone. And as you can read about in our Takeaway, Reddit has a new way to field questions on its earnings call — its own product.
📷 Companies are, in fact, earning: We're not done yet with Q2 earnings season, but with 80% of the S&P 500 results recorded, it's safe to say companies are doing far better than expected. As our Josh Schafer writes, the 5% earnings growth companies have reported for Q1 is the most in nearly two years and consensus estimates
expect that growth to continue. Even if companies are being lauded a little less and punished a little more in the stock market for exceeding or missing expectations, the fundamentals are improving.

Learn more. Reddit's first quarterly report follows Elon Musk's lead Today's Takeaway is by Myles Udland, Head of News.
On Jan. 30, 2019, Elon Musk launched one of his more unheralded innovations in the business world: He began Tesla's earnings conference call with questions from retail investors.
On Tuesday, Reddit, whose message boards helped fuel the 2021 meme stock rally, will report its first quarterly results since going public and launch its own innovation of a sort,
taking questions from the investing public that will be posted, but where else, on
Reddit.
Since Tesla's call back in 2019, we've seen several companies take a different approach to explaining their results since going public.
Robinhood, to no one's surprise, has been at the forefront of remaking these quarterly updates,
beginning their own calls with questions from retail investors. The company will report its latest quarterly results on Wednesday.
In 2021, Robinhood also
acquired Say Technologies, the company behind
say.com, the service that powered shareholder-submitted calls for Tesla back in 2019.
Coinbase, which, like Robinhood, made its public market debut in 2021 with a focus on its retail users and investors,
began its call last week with questions from shareholders.
And AMC, one of the most prominent companies in the meme stock craze, mixes in several questions from shareholders during its quarterly call. Its meme stock counterpart GameStop, for its part, hasn't taken questions from analysts or shareholders following quarterly results since December 2020.
And taking questions from investors isn't the only way conference calls have changed through the years.
Years before Tesla's move to bring in shareholder questions, Netflix began its own innovation in the space, tasking a single analyst or IR exec with hosting what it calls an "earnings interview." The company continues the practice today.
This past weekend, many investors spent hours listening to Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett hold court with shareholders inside a basketball arena in Omaha, Neb. Berkshire has never hosted quarterly earnings calls.
Over the years, the rules have considerably changed regarding how analysts can interact with company management and how companies communicate with the investing public.
In short, more people have more information, and fewer people know anything special.
Corporate communications has
boomed. Sell-side research has
dwindled. And the research arms of financial firms now resemble media companies, complete with newsletters, podcasts, and their own personalities.
When Musk took his first question from shareholders, the appeal was immediately apparent.
According to a transcript from S&P Global Market Intelligence, the first question was about "service," which Musk had already addressed "at length," according to Tesla's IR head Martin Viecha.
The next question resembled much of the fare executives are accustomed to responding to from Wall Street analysts — "How are you feeling about demand right now across the product line?"
In the five years since this call, the rise of the retail investor and the "meme stock" movement has continued to reshape this quarterly ritual. And Musk, for his part, has turned
holding a colorful earnings call into an art form.
Perhaps it's fitting, then, that at the end of Tesla's earnings call last month Viecha announced that it would be his last.
Chart of the day If you chart the S&P 500's rough April, there's a notable bottom on Friday, April 19. It was the last day before the Fed's quiet period when its officials went silent.
And while the correlation between a muted Fed and happier market might be somewhat spurious — many other factors drive the market — Bank of America put a fresh new chart to something we all know instinctively: In the world of markets, no news is good news.
In this chart, BofA's equity and quant strategy team tracked the median weekly returns against key macro releases like GDP, CPI, PMI, FOMC meetings, retail sales, and jobs reports.
📷
"Since 2014, the S&P 500 has risen 0.6% during weeks with no key macro data releases vs. +0.2% in other weeks on a median basis. So no news is typically good news for stocks," the team, led by Ohsung Kwon, wrote. "Historically, the equity market has favored quiet macro weeks."
Unlike the VIX vs. S&P 500 relationship, which shows an inverse relationship between volatility and stock prices, this chart speaks more directly to what actually causes that volatility: uncertainty. Waiting for the other shoe to drop is stressful.
And in weeks with fewer macro readings to be uncertain about, like this one, stocks have fewer reasons to stray from their historical path up and to the right.
Dispatch from Milken: Top CEOs see risks in investing in the Magnificent Seven LOS ANGELES, Calif. — What's a glitzy investing conference without a little Mag Seven banter?
"The risk is simple — those stocks don't do well," Avenue Capital Group founder and CEO Marc Lasry told Yahoo Finance at the Milken Institute Global Conference on Monday.
Lasry was answering a question about the risk of overcrowding into tech names such as the Magnificent Seven.
"What has happened is when people are nervous, they invest in things that they know really well and they believe are going to be around," Lasry added. "But I don't know what happens in the next year. I do know on the credit side, you've got all these opportunities."
The former co-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, Lasry has been investing in credit markets for more than four decades, giving him a reported net worth of $1.9 billion.
So suffice it to say, Lasry has seen a few investing cycles and market crazes.
And the Mag Seven could be viewed as a craze.
Altogether, the Mag Seven were responsible for about 37% of the S&P 500's 10.2% gain in the first quarter, according to data from S&P Global Indices. In 2023, the cohort constituted roughly two-thirds of the S&P 500's advance.
The optimism on the group reflects profit enthusiasm on everything from Nvidia AI chips to Microsoft's Copilot productivity tool.
But with investors now more closely scrutinizing the Mag Seven amid higher interest rates, shares have come back down to earth.
Explained Apollo Global Management CEO
Marc Rowan, "I'm not in the stock picking business. But very few people come in every day and try to buy 45 or 50 P/E stocks. It's just not what we do." (Disclosure: Apollo Global Management is the parent company of Yahoo Finance.)
"I look at the broader trend. We used to have 8,000 public companies. We now have 4,000 public companies," he added. "People think most of the action is in public markets. 80% of companies over a hundred million of revenue and 80% of employment is in private companies."

2024.05.08 04:49 Smyris FAQ - GUIDES - REQUESTS READ BEFORE YOU POST
DO NOT POST CARDS UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT A BLEED EDGE IS. SEE THE FAQ SECTION FOR INFO IF YOU HAVE AN IDEA FOR A CARD AND WANT TO MAKE A REQUEST, PLEASE DO SO IN THE COMMENT SECTION OF THIS POST. We are a community dedicated to the creation and sharing of playtest cards (often called proxies) for Magic the Gathering. Have a look around and be sure to read the FAQ. If you just want to look at cards consider checking out
MPCfill.com as it is a database containing most of the cards you'll find here and much more!
USEFUL LINKS
'Originally created by ChilliAxe and now rebuilt and remastered by u/mrteferi, mpcfill is a website for generating orders for use with card printing sites (we suggest makeplayingcards.com). Simply enter a list of cards and then select your art from a database of community works.
While it is in need of minor updates the core info is still excellent for those wanting to know how to make and print proxies. The info on *bleed edges** is particularly useful*
Love making cards in photoshop but hate the grindy repetition? Proxyshop will automate the boring parts so you can focus on the card. It is highly versatile and contains nearly every template there is (if you just want the templates they are available as a separate download)
A simple web-based tool to create cards. Many of the frames found there were made right here on this sub!
UPDATE: The tool has undergone an overhaul after a bit of a kerfuffle with wotc. So you will need some templates to replicate the old functionality. There are not a lot available at the moment so for now your best bet is to install this offline version of the tool. Below is a quick install guide courtesy of Investigamer from the Discord:
- Clone or download (Code > Download Zip) the Card Conjurer repo
- Extract the zip somewhere on your PC.
- In the new cardconjurer directory, run launcher.exe (or launcher-macos, launcher-linux for other operating systems). Card conjurer should open in your browser and you're good to go 👍
The site will be served at localhost:8080 until you hit CTRL+C in the command window that popped up. ALSO: If you've ever visited Card Conjurer before (on the live site or locally) you may need to hit CTRL + F5 to reload the cache for the site to work correctly."

FAQ
What is a playtest card?
First and foremost a playtest card is a card that is NOT designed for use in an official capacity. It is usually made to test something, such as a new mechanic or card type. In our community, we test new styles, artwork, and frames with existing cards. For example, we might make a playtest card exploring what a card from the alpha set would look like in a Kaldheim frame. Playtest cards are often confused with proxy cards, though the names have become more or less interchangeable it is important to note that actual proxy cards have an official use (to temporarily replace a damaged card during a competitive match) while playtest cards do not.
What the heck is a bleed edge?
MPC requires that images you send them for printing include an extra 1/8th of an inch on each edge. This accounts for the print bleed edge, and it’ll be cut off as part of the manufacturing process. More info on how to apply a bleed edge can be found in the wiki.
Can I use playtest cards when I play in MTG competitions?
No. It could potentially get you banned from future events. Some local stores may have different rules, however, that is something to discuss with them.
Can I use playtest cards when I play MTG with friends?
Yes! It is comparable to printing cards on paper and sleeving them over top of real cards. As with all things you should discuss this with your group first.
Do I need to buy playtest cards?
No. The WOTC fan content policy and our own rules are very clear on this. The cards we make here must, by their nature, be available for free. Anyone trying to sell you playtest or proxy cards, especially if they try to point you towards a proxy store, is trying to scam you./
It should be noted that some people make their own completely custom playtest cards and host them behind a paywall. This is different from a proxy store which often just lifts work from people on subs like this. Work from these individuals can't be found here unless it's been made avaliable for free.
How do I print playtest cards?
You can either use a printing service or print at home with the help of some basic supplies. Most of the guides and tools here are geared towards the printing service makeplayingcards.com.
There are dotted red lines on my card preview in MPC. Is this normal?
Yes! The red dotted line is completely normal. It only indicates areas that might get cut off in the event of a catastrophic printing error (you'd need a earthquake to cut that much off)
Here are some images showing what your MPC card preview SHOULD look like: Example 1, Example 2, Example 3.
I've followed the wiki, but which card stock should I choose?
There are more than a few options to choose from. Fortunately, u/VorstTank has your back with their excellent Card Stock Review. Don't want to read more? jump to the tl;dr. Don't even want to do that?.. but... fine... S33 or S27. There. Happy? Good.
Is there an easy way to put together a printing set?
Yes! MPCfill.com is a tool for generating orders. Simply enter a card list and mpcfill will show you a list of available playtest options for said cards, options found on mpcfill are indexed from community members' google drives. In this way, mpcfill also acts as the most comprehensive and up-to-date database of community cards. (Despite this, not everyone has their cards available on mpcfill so it is also recommended you browse the subreddit and discords)
Can I make a playtest card?
Absolutely! We are always happy to see new creators join the fold. Thanks to the efforts of various community members the tools to us have expanded greatly and it is now possible to create fantastic-looking cards in seconds! Check out the guides and templates sections for more information.[As the guides section is under construction I will start by pointing you towards the templates section if you know photoshop and towards cardconjurer.com if you do not]
