My ex situationship and I go to the same high school but are 2 grades apart (she’s a 16ya Freshman and I’m a 17ya junior). There was an instant tension the first time we saw each other on a spring break cruise as we would lock eyes everytime we saw one another. After the cruise I had added her on Snapchat at the airport and we would go on to become each other’s best friends. A couple months later I decided that talking to a Freshman was too much for me so I ghosted her b/c I was scared of what ppl would think. I knew I had broken her heart but I didn’t think much of it.
I should mention that over the summer I had ghosted her, we would randomly see each other in public places like the airport or movie theaters. We live in a big city too which made it strange.
Fast forward 6 months: Me and her are snapping again and we decide to link up secretly. We instantly connected and could talk forever with each other despite what had happened between us before. We decide to keep our relationship a secret like some real Romeo and Juliet shit and it was so fun. One night when we were together, the secret of our relationship was released by accident to the entire school. I struggled with being ridiculed about being with a freshman but I didn’t care b/c I felt so connected to her. I had been with plenty of girls before but nothing had felt like this. There was something real between us and I could feel it.
About a month after everyone had learned about us, we had a long in-person conversation about how it was too much for her and so many things were working against us. She went on to say that maybe it would work out in the future but now wasn’t the time. This was only 2 days after our first date where I picked her up and met her parents. We went out to dinner then went to a horror movie where I held her the entire time. It went so well. The next day she began to pull away which eventually led to our conversation in my car.I had expressed how I felt and how she was the only girl I had really cared for but she was clear about her decision to end things. 2 weeks later and she gets with a guy in her friend group.
For over 2 months I’ve shrugged it off as a rebound, been in no contact, and done extensive research about when and how she would come back to me (Videos on attachment style and dismissive avoidance). Shes given mixed signals and given me false hope but I take it as she still feels something. I know it’s only high school but I really do feel connected to this girl and I can’t explain it. She made me feel complete and I don’t know if she’ll come back or not. She’s still with this guy. Do I move on or do I wait for her? It’s summer again and I’ll be a senior. Idk what to do.

I'm using the free Reillusion character base toon M. While adjusting the eyes, I recalculated the normals (including inside) and this happened. recalculating the body's normals does the same thing. I tried re-joining the head to the torso, and then recalculating, but that *also* does the same thing.
Has anyone had this problem before/does anyone know how to fix it?

"Did I not order you to obey Me? Did I not forbid you from disobeying Me?"
He then says, "Why not, O my Lord, but my lust overpowered me; if you punish me, it is because of my sin and You have not done me any injustice."
God orders him to be taken to Hell and the servant says: "I did not expect that of You."
"What did you expect of Me?" God asks.
"I had the best of expectations of You," he replies.
Then God orders him to be taken to Paradise and addresses him as such: "Your good expectation of Me just aided you." [3]
Imam Reza (AS): Have good expectation of God, because God the Glorified and the Exalted says: "I am with the servant who has an expectation of Me; if his expectation is good of Me, I will treat him according to his expectation and if his expectation is bad, I will treat him according to his bad expectation."[4]

Meaning of Good Expectation and Bad Expectation:

In short, good expectation of God is to place one's hope in His mercy while bad expectation means to despair of His mercy and compassion. One must be fearful of God's punishment but he must not despair of divine mercy. He must do what is his duty, purify his intention and be afraid of his sins. Meanwhile, he must be hopeful of divine forgiveness. The Commander of the Faithful, Ali (AS) says: "Good expectation (of God) is to purify your deeds (for His sake) and yet be hopeful that God will forgive his mistakes."[5]
Imam Sadiq (AS): "God expectation of God is to place your hope in no one other than God and to be afraid of nothing except your sin."[6]
Allamah Muhammad Baqir Majlisi (ra) explaining good expectations and bad expectations of God says: "One who does good deeds will definitely have good expectation of God and he who commits evil deeds will also surely have bad expectation of God."[7]

Effects of Suspicion:

Suspicion or bad expectation of God and His promises has detrimental impacts on one's beliefs and faith in God. Some of the negative effects and consequences of bad expectations are enumerated as under:

1. Bad expectation amounts to disbelief:

God, the Exalted, says in the Quran: "Despair not of Allah's mercy; surely none despairs of Allah's mercy except the unbelieving people."[8]
The Prophet of Islam (S) says: In his supplications, Dawud (AS) said: "O Lord, he who knows You but does not have good expectations of you, has in reality not believed in You."[9]

2. Worship not accepted:

To suspect God of not fulfilling His promise causes the acts of worship not to be accepted because it eliminates and wipes sincerity out.
For this reason, Imam Ali (AS) says: "Suspicion spoils the worship."[10]

3. Inability to tackle difficulties:

Suspicion and bad expectations of Allah debilitates a person against difficult and complex incidents. The Battle of Ahzab is one such example in which those who had just converted to Islam became suspicious with regards to divine promises following which they ceased to stand firm and strong against the enemies, whereas, in fact, the true and unflinching believers who had good expectations of Allah stood strong and hopeful against the enemies and they finally achieved victory over their foes:
"When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes turned dull, and the hearts rose up to the throats, and you began to think diverse thoughts of Allah."[11]

4. Becoming deprived of divine attention:

Suspicion towards Allah deprives one of divine blessings and attention, because based on the traditions mentioned above, God treats everyone on the basis of good or bad expectation of Him.

Ways to Cure Suspiciousness:

✓ To get rid of suspicion towards God, first it is necessary to turn to some general principles governing the treatment of moral ills. The main principle is to think of the negative effects of these ills because when one thinks of the consequences of suspicion and how it wiped out his ideological asset and ripped him of his mental peace and made him negligent of truths, he will inevitably distance himself from mean traits and moral ills just as he distances himself from poisonous foods.
✓ Inquiries and researches done on the occurrences that possibly lead to suspicion towards God could be helpful and may assist an individual to get rid of pessimistic thoughts because some of these occurrences constitute divine tribulations which exist as a reality in man's life and that one must cope up with these realities and must, therefore, have good expectations of God. That is because these tribulations are meant to test man and are key to his spiritual progress. Some other occurrences are the direct results of man's bad acts. In short, instead of being suspicious towards God, the proper course of action is to repent and seek divine forgiveness for all the sins he has committed as well as to do whatever he can to make up for all those mistakes.
✓ Not paying heed and attention to suspicion towards God is yet another way of curing this spiritual illness because if one does not pay attention to the incoming thoughts and constantly distances himself heedlessly, this state of suspicion gradually dies down and gets eliminated. This method is also effective in treating suspiciousness towards one's own brothers in faith.
That is why we read in a tradition as a general principle that:
اذا ظَنَنْتُمْ فَلا تَحَقَّقُوا "When you become suspicious, then do not give heed to it."
In short, if a person is interested in having peace and in resistance as well as in drawing God's attention and sincere belief, he must have good intention of God and his promises including forgiveness, mercy and compassion which are achieved after one repents genuinely and seeks divine forgiveness.

Happy Sunday, IMAM!
I received my Poesie order for their Cloud 9 Birthday collection on Friday. I wanted to give them a little time to rest before I tried them out, so this post is my first impressions review.
I want to start out by saying I have many loves from Poesie’s catalog including Soft, Madar, Amaterasu, Secret Boyfriend, Darcy, Autumn Shadows and, the inspiration behind the birthday collection, Cloud. I have sung the praises of Cloud on this sub for a long time, which is why I was so excited to try out and review this collection. I got a little caught up in the excitement, so I threw my usual caution with Poesie’s limited edition collections to the wind and went ahead and purchased 3 of the 4 new scents.
Now, the qualms I have with Poesie’s scents I think are fairly common within the IMAM community; the oils are very low throw and low longevity. As in, they disappear within an hour or two. This remains true with the scents in the Cloud 9 collection and is the reason I usually stay away from their limited releases, which are only available in oil format. In my opinion, Poesie’s EDPs have much better throw and longevity, which is why I tend to stick to the general catalog scents that are available in EDP unless a limited release really catches my eye, which is what happened with this release. I hope that in the future, limited collections will have EDP options in addition to oils because I do genuinely love the scents and aesthetic of this brand, but really don’t want to have to reapply more than once.
Now that that’s out of the way, on to the reviews! I will rate the scents based on my personal taste, as well as the accuracy to the listed notes on a scale of 1 to 5.
Cloud- (Poesie’s classic cotton candy scent).
This scent has been around for a while and I did not repurchase during this release, but I wanted to include a review of it in this post anyway. As I said earlier in the post, I love this scent! It is my absolute favorite cotton candy note. Other cotton candy scents I’ve tried have almost a cold feel to them, like cotton candy that was made a few days ago and kept in a plastic bag, but Cloud smells exactly like warm, freshly made cotton candy. It’s a very sweet, pink scent without being cloying. I have the scent in EDP format, but I also have an oil sample. The EDP lasts about 5 hours on me, where the oil lasts about 2. The EDP has a much bigger throw than the oil as well. Overall, beautiful. Stunning. Love it. 10/10 recommend.

Cereal Milk Cotton Candy- (Remember drinking the leftover milk from the classic fruity cereal of your childhood? Add a hint of cotton candy and you have this delicious scent in a bottle!)
I will start by saying this is by far my favorite of the 4 new scents, which surprises me because I was actually going to pass on this one. I never really understood the whole cereal milk trend that’s been popular for a few years, so this one didn’t interest me at first but I said f*** it and purchased it anyway. Y’all, this one is nice. Upon first application, I get a blast of fruity pebbles but it settles down into a milky base and I can actually start to distinguish the different fruit notes! At first it was more strawberry/cherry, but then I started to pick up on the lemon/lime notes. The cereal milk is strong and I’m not picking up any of the Cloud note. Like, at all. No cotton candy in this. Just cereal milk. Which might be a good thing, depending on personal taste. I think with the cotton candy note, it might be too sweet. The cereal milk is sweet enough on its own. Throw/longevity wise, this one is probably the best of any Poesie oil I’ve tried. I applied it about 3 hours ago and I can still smell it from a couple feet away! This one needs to come back as GC. Obsessed.

Pandan Jasmine Tea Cotton Candy- (Inspired by an amazing ice cream flavor that Joelle had at a local restaurant with our beloved cotton candy note — quirky, unexpected and totally delightful!)
So, this is where the collection starts to go downhill in my opinion. This is the one I was most excited for and the most disappointed by. I don’t get cotton candy, I don’t get pandan, I barely get jasmine. It mostly smells like a slightly floral earl grey tea. There is a hint of milkiness to it, so perhaps more like a london fog. It definitely doesn’t smell bad, perse, but it doesn’t smell like pandan, jasmine or cotton candy. Which is disappointing, because I really wanted a pandan cotton candy perfume. (Sidenote- if anyone has pandan recs, I’m happy to hear them!) Very little throw, longevity is about 1.5 hours. If you want an actual london fog scent from Poesie, try Twice to Tea. It’s better.

Love Poesie #9- (Tuberose, cotton candy, and a wisp of blown out birthday candles will have you under its spell)
Unfortunately, we are still tail spinning. Once again, I get zero cotton candy from this one. Also, zero blown out birthday candle. This is a tuberose single note. There’s not much else to say. Again, it doesn’t smell bad, but I don’t personally jive with it. Tuberose is not a note that I typically like. To be fair, I didn’t purchase this one because I wasn’t crazy about the notes, but I received it as a free mystery sample. If you like tuberose, you will like this. It also redeems itself a little by having decent longevity. Throw, not so much.

Chamomile Ginger Cotton Candy-[Grown up cotton candy? Yes, please. Soothing, spicy and slightly sweet — you’re sure to smell like an elevated treat]
It’s getting sad at this point. My wallet is crying from the $60 thrown down the drain. I am crying because once again, I get zero cotton candy, zero chamomile and zero ginger. I literally don’t even know WTF this smells like. It’s vaguely tea-like in a very nondescript way. I’m definitely not getting a distinct chamomile scent. There’s a hint of spiciness, but again, I’m not detecting actual ginger. It’s kind of soapy and clean…Y’all I am literally sitting in front of my laptop right now sniffing my arm like a psycho trying to pick up on any specific notes. I honestly don’t know how to describe this. It has a smell. It smells like something. I don’t know what that thing is. Spicy, but not really, soap with a nonspecific tea note. Low throw, longevity is about 2 hours.

TLDR: With a 25% hit rate, if you missed out on this new collection, I say be happy you saved the cash.

Be a dork. Have a sense of humor. I don't mind weebs, I don't mind NEETs, I don't even mind femcels as long as they are self aware and not hostile. Age isnt ago huge deal to me and anywhere from like 19 to 35 is fine. I don't mind "deplorable language" as long as you're not actually a racist or homophobe or something. No tweakers, no cheaters, no political cultists. Basically be Kara Eklund lol. I just want someone that will actually take interest in and get excited about the same things as me and that I can make happy without weird drama. Psychos that seek out arguments are kinda been there done that. Just be sweet and sit on me a lot. I'm a sucker for green eyes and sundresses.
