But apparently my dad lied to everyone to not damage his reputation. So we had a family wedding to attend today evening and we were outside our house waiting for an uber because we don't have a car. It was very awkward and the cherry on top was the lightning. It was about to rain and my mom was really looking forward to this wedding. Then two of the neighborhood ladies who were taking a walk saw us and asked my mom where were we going so dressed up and my mom said that we're going to a wedding, then they asked for what were we waiting and my mom just told the truth that we sold our car due to financial issues so we're waiting for an uber. Then the two ladies awkwardly laughed and continued their walk. My dad got extremely angry at this because the husbands of the two ladies aren't rich and my mom just lowered his "value" in front of the two ladies by just saying the truth. He threw the wedding gift on the road, cancelled the uber and said that he won't go to the wedding. Then he started screaming vulgar language and "revealed" to everyone (all the houses' front doors were open) that my mother is six years older than him. Now this is a very sensitive topic to my mother. Whenever the word "age" is mentioned in front of my mother, she starts fidgeting. Apparently it's a big shame. A few people even came outside to see what was going on but they didn't interfere. I'm pretty sure someone recorded. My mom was very embarassed but still wanted to go to the wedding, so she tried to convince dad to book an uber again and then we went to the wedding. He refused to come inside and just waited outside and a thunderstorm started. Me and my mom went inside with dull faces and I ignored everyone who tried to talk to me. Idk why I did that, it just made it very apparent that something bad happened. Everybody started asking where was my dad and my mom just had to reveal that this and that happened. There was family who lived close to our house and they offered to take us home if our dad refused to which he did. He sent a message saying he's leaving. We had our food very quickly. I literally couldn't eat anything. Then we were about to leave when my dad texted that he doesn't have the house key and to give it to him. My mom and I walked to him during the thunderstorm and then he said that he booked an uber and we're all leaving. My mom had to say that we're going with dad so they don't keep waiting for us but they just wouldn't pick up the phone. So my mom had to walk back again and tell them. My dad then cancelled the uber. Said some things and then told us that he's leaving alone and to manage somehow and that he won't even open the door for us when we reach home. But then he came back with an uber. So we get in. He told my mom how he's going to reveal to everyone how she's six years older because my mom embarassed him in front of people who aren't up to his level (his words). Then he told my mom to go the houses of the two neighborhood ladies and tell them the lie which my dad told everyone else. We went to both the houses and the two ladies just laughed. One of them said she didn't even remember it and the other one said that my father had the right to be angry. He didn't enter along with us and when we left the house, he wasn't outside. He went home. My mom and dad then started arguing really loudly and my mom told him that she's going to the police to "scare" him but it just made everything worse. He took a heavy chair and was about to hit her with it. But he didn't, he just used his hand and he did it so hard, my mom started bleeding from her mouth. But he didn't care. He then took a photo of her while she fell down on the floor and sent it to everyone we had on WhatsApp. Even people from my school. I deleted it soon after and blocked everyone's number but I'm sure some of them saw the picture. He said he's going to embarass her ten times worse than she did. Then he also told me that he will not let me go to school again. And that he would kill both me and my mom and then glady go to prison. He won't let mom divorce him or report him to the police. He would kill us instead. I don't think life will ever get better. I've posted so many times on Reddit always hoping maybe it will get better one day but it never does. I feel really bad for my mother. She may be older but she's the prettiest woman I know. Her beauty will never fade. My mother just had seizures with some some serious symptoms like blood. I instantly tried calling every emergency number possible for ambulance like 112 and 102. I ve tried those numbers before I thought since it's emergency, they would pick the phone up instantly.but to my suprise none of these happened. When I tried calling 112 multiple times, the phone number was unavailable. Trust me it's not my signals , i tried it with various phones. Then I tried 102 , then came an ai voice praising arvind kejriwal about his free service of ambulance. That's good I'm not against it but why do you have to put that credit on emergency helpline and even after that no one picked up that phone for minutes. Then we were tired and decided to take her own with car.
Idk how to feel about this.

My store has been open since 4th March 2024 (11 weeks), it took two weeks to get its first sale. I haven’t done ANY social media marketing whatsoever.
Guess what? Out of 30 products, one keeps selling pretty much daily. When I search for that product online, my website is the first to show, I’ve tried different browsers incase of cookies & used my friends phone as well, I’m number one on Google for this product (and I’m not setup as a Google Merchant the product was disapproved). Believe it or not, I’m even coming up first before websites like AliExpress and other well known brands that sell the same product. I almost can’t believe it.
Now, how on earth did that happen? Any ideas? I need to know, so that I can make myself first for other products too…
I considered that it could be SEO, but my SEO was pretty basic. I haven’t even got alt text on the pictures, I hadn’t done the meta descriptions or anything - I’ve only done the very bare minimum. Thanks for any ideas on how it was possible 🤔

Recently my dad kept recieving random text messages on his personnal phone number, spam calls, spam mails and it was a lot, tens of spam things a day. He just waited and he got less and less spam so he thought his data got hacked somehow but nothing else happened.
But the last few days, my Mom had a lot of spam too but the weird thing is that she recieved a mail telling her she ordered pizzas on just eat that she would have to pay in cash. She never made an account on that app but apparently someone managed to use her email and phone number to create one to her name.
I guess her phone was hacked since she has a gmail account and I don't think anyone would hack an entire gmail account (which i believe is not easy to do) just to order pizzas and spam my mom.
What should i do to make sure everything goes ? I told her to reset her phone, passwords and get a new sim card but will that be enough ?
If anyone knows what's going on i'd love to know !

I am a 39 year old man. I like to "work from home" on the campus of a prestigious university in my city.
Why? The wifi is good, I want to get out of my house, and I don't want to feel pressured to buy things at a cafe. People accuse me of wanting to ogle and pickup college girls. Yes, some of them are quite pretty. I am 39, but look MUCH younger and am considered to be very handsome. I think that they ogle me much more than I ogle them. I very often see them checking me out and hear them say, "He's hot!"
I didn't talk to anyone. I eventually became assigned the trivia host of the on-campus bar, which does give me a better reason to be there.
There is one girl who looks like a senior. I have also seen her at a concert, and she clearly recognized me. One night she came to trivia and gave me the most exaggerated look of girlish yearning. I should have winked or waved at her, but I just didn't. Later, at an on campus festival, I saw her from afar and she was frowning at me, perhaps thinking that I couldn't possibly be attracted to her.
Months pass, and I would sometimes see her on campus. Then I finally got the nerve to approach her and chat her up. She is a senior, and I got her first name. It seemed really awkward so I didn't ask for her number, which I regretted as what was the point of speaking to her?
With her first name and some other details, I was able to figure out her full name. I mailed her a letter to the university in general and explained how I got her full name. The letter was short and funny.
I later got a phone call. One ring, then they hung up. I googled the number and it was from her on-campus job. I don't know why she called or why she hung up. I decided to write her a second letter. This one was actually much funnier and more cute.
Nothing happened, and I think it is over. I think it was good of me to approach her. We both needed vindication. Me from thinking that I am too scared to talk to women, and she might have felt good that I was in fact attracted to her.
But is this creeping people out? Keep in mind, there is a 0% chance that she was NOT attracted to me. It is very possible that she thought I was a late 20s grad student which is fine, and not a late 30s almost-rando which she might not like. But why did she call and hang up?

we have a few people sharing a MailChimp login. These aren't the most technical folks, so the 'main' person's phone number is used as the two-factor authentication (using SMS).
This is rather inconvenient, when someone else needs to login.
I figured I'd setup the authenticator app, but it looks like this isn't a second login method, but rather an alternative to SMS. It seems like the two can't be used together.
How do I get account security, but for multiple people? On a free MailChimp account that is.

Just looking to see if anyone in the group is in the Metro Atlanta area. I'm pretty bad, but would like to link up with some people and learn some things. I'm literally the only person on inlines at the park I go to near me. I feel like skating with others would help me get better. I recently interviewed for a role. Had great conversations with the hiring manager, whom I was supposed to be working closely with. There were strong synergies. In the end, I had to turn down the offer due to personal reasons.
He then emailed me back saying he'd like to keep in touch. We are connected on LinkedIn, which he could use as a means for future communication, but he gave me his phone number and said "Here's my number XXX - would love to chat over dinner sometime just to hear your perspective and brainstorm strategies."
My friends are saying it's odd that he went that far for a candidate ie giving his number and even suggesting grabbing dinner (usually people suggest coffee or quick lunch). Is he interested in something else? I don't know how I should move forward. I like the opportunity to continue the conversation with him - our previous strategic convo was great - but would like to keep things professional.

I never thought I’d be here, but I need to get this off my chest. This is a throwaway account for obvious reasons. Here’s the story of how I discovered my wife was cheating on me, on our anniversary of all days.
My (34M) wife (32F) and I have been married for seven years. We have two beautiful kids, ages 5 and 3. For the most part, our marriage has been great, or so I thought.
Last month, we celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary. I planned a romantic weekend getaway to a cabin in the mountains. It was supposed to be just the two of us, no kids, no distractions, just quality time together.
In the weeks leading up to the trip, I noticed she was acting distant. She was always on her phone, giggling at messages, and being secretive about who she was talking to. When I asked her, she brushed it off, saying it was just her friends from work.
Fast forward to our anniversary weekend. We got to the cabin, and everything seemed perfect at first. But she was glued to her phone the entire time. I tried to ignore it, thinking maybe she was just having a hard time unplugging from work.

Currently staying in LatAm and decided to buy a camera. Price in Amazon Italia was better than the US so I bought it there.
Account got suspended because of a "suspicious" with the payment method. Always bought stuff from Amazon using my American card.
I contacted Italian support (with a translator) and they said they couldn’t help me because the account I’m using to chat is not the one locked. Recommended me to request a phone call but 1) I don’t have an Italian number nor my US number is working here and 2) language barrier is a concern.

To log in to my google account I have to type username, then password, then a number comes up that I have to match in my phone (google pixel). But my phone screen is broken and repairs will take a while. So the phone is not functional. It then says to enter a code that it has sent to my sisters old email. But my sister doesn't know the password of that email. I remember putting security questions like mothers name and school name but those don't pop up. I need to know how I can log into google. I really need it urgently because I have applied to masters programmes and they are going to be sending in emails soon. Someone please help me.
