Cooking Tuesday
Every Tuesday I cook the entire day for the week and freeze all the food. I usually choose 3 new mouth-watering recipes. Here’s my last batch. Bottom left : Crumbled tofu for breakfasts. Iron pot : Hearthy Chili with carrots, spinach, po-tay-toes and lentils flavored with curry, cumin and chili powder. Middle gratin : Breaded tofu, steamed broccoli with it’s ginger-orange sauce. Right gratin : 3 layers of spinach interspersed with tomato-onion-garlic bruschetta style layer and the whole softened with coconut milk. In the middle is grilled vegan ckicken-salted walnuts as a topping.

2014.10.18 14:56 FoodStampDad I Think I found my home!

I was looking through the sub for a bit, and I feel that I can contribute on both ends of the spectrum. I got very tipsy while making a veg lasagna and it was amazing. The next week I burned a pot of beans and some how burned a ckicken in the crock pot due to too much vodka. The next week I made a chile verde that was amazing, but I don't remember the details. Every time I try to make it, it is not nearly as good! Either good or bad, my drunken cooking is almost always memorable, even if I don't remember all the details. This weekend I will have to remember my camera!`
