Hey all, I'm a former software engineer who's getting into high school ed as an instructor. Budget TBD, though I'd like to keep it under a couple thousand.
I have a vision of having a programmable console I could use to activate preset lighting and sound scenes and wanted to get a good idea of what products I should look into (or perhaps avoid). If I'm thinking about this the wrong way or taking an non-ideal approach then do let me know.
Here are some of the experiences I want to create, some are far out but roll with me:

• DnD-like fantasy environment with cave visuals around the classroom with the sound of rain and thunder in the background.
• One button press dims the lights and puts a hard spotlight on a student who's saying something interesting
• Playing gameshow sound effects to accent a good idea/answer
• Projecting stars on the walls or ceiling
• Simply having warmer and more welcoming whole-room lighting so we don't need to use sterile fluorescent overhead lighting.

Going to list my ideas for how to accomplish these below. Note that I'm not necessarily trying to do all of these at once, I just want to see what's possible.
These are needs for visual:

• Be able to illuminate a 400sqft space. Doesn't have to fill the entire room with light but whatever visual effects that get produced should be visible throughout the class
• Visuals are programmable/controllable over network. It's okay if it's a local network I need to setup separately but I would prefer to stay within wifi or bluetooth protocol-wise.

For visuals I was considering a couple different ideas:

• Network-controllable colored lights
• Ceiling mounted 360 projector I could use to paint the walls (e,g. project a jungle or castle environment)
• A desk/floowall mounted projector to throw images on the ceiling (e.g. rain clouds or sun).
• Programmable ceiling-mounted gimbled spotlight that can be configured to points to pre-set spots in the classroom.

These are my needs for Audio:

• Be able to fill a 400sqft space with audio (60-70Db max)
• Ideally can be mounted to a wall or perhaps some kind of rig/poll
• Don't want to disturb other classes with low frequencies so speakers with narrow freq response are totally fine.

For audio I was exploring:

• 2 speakers mounted at the front of the class
• 4 speaker surround at each corner

Needs for controls/console:

• Something I could put in a backpack and take with me
• Would love buttons with dynamic/digital labels
• It's okay if audio volume/mix controls are separate from visual controls but I'd like to be able to have a one-button press control the start and stop of simultaneous visual and audio effects.

Ideas for controls/console:

Hey everyone! I've been working with editing software since I was about 10, but am fairly new to deadlines and workflow optimization. I have a few overlays for this podcast I work on (shown in this photo) where I have two videos under an overlay PNG. (Photo link again)
My question is: Is there a bettefaster way to maybe make a template or something of the sort to save time on needing to crop and size down each clip into the overlay window? The way I do it now is I have the position and scale numbers written down on a post it for the first clip, and then copy and paste attributes to each of the clips after to line them up. As you can guess this takes a good amount of time doing it for 4 different overlays over a 40 minute episode. Is there any optimization I'm missing out on or is this just a tedious task? Thanks!

Signora/her moth interrupting the reserection of another character; She could interrupt the reserection of the old Pyro Archon, Take over there body/place/title and thereby claim ownership of the gnosis but the new archon won't let that be but till she(Signora) is beaten she will have given the gnosis over to dottore/capitano/Columbian and would be left to die, which makes her join us.
Dottore will reserect her, as part of an experiment or as part of a trap(dottore is unhinged and cares little for life) which wouldn't make it surprising if he reseructed her just so she could be the bait to be killed by the archon/tribes of natlan while he follows his own Agenda taking gnosis and burning irmensul as seen in that one scene and revealed by one of the Devs to happen in the future.
Capitano(if he is the blood stained knight) resurrecting her; His respect for her and his former master ( her lover) would make him feel it kind of as a duty to bring her back or at least try so, but he will fai or not even tryl to bring la signora back, instead he will reseruct Rosalyne the gentle version (with maybe memory holes).
She gave her body up, but was it destroyed? We know that she nearly killed herself while transforming into CWoF for the first time. Her giving up her body does not mean she destroyed it, it could be somewhere in natlan hidden/protected by a temple or in the liquid fire she drank(I remember reading that there was the sea of liquid fire) where she could have dived into and emerged as a bodyless version of her self that uses elemental energy to manifest a physical form. Or since we know that she was an akademiya student she could have preserved her body somewhere by artificial means.
Cracky theory I'm a giant fan of both la signora and Sandrone, seeing as we have gotten a puppet character in an hoyo game already (Herta HSR) I wouldn't be surprised getting one in genshin(yes balladeer is a puppet of raiden but technically missing the puppet aesthetic) and while Herta is pretty basic in her design she was probably used to test the waters on how to give a character such depth in its design as to produce clear and authentic puppet aesthetic(especially with the hints of us getting a 5 star version of Herta later in the game),comming to the theory What if she will be ,,reserected" into one of sandrones puppets maybe even one in image of a younger(former version)of Rosalyn like the one on arlechino story trailer with less detailed/accessories like her crown/eye patch thingy. A factor for making me think that is that sandrone who was supposedly meant to appear in fountain never did so so her having little bit of influence even if not by showing up in natlan at all would be pretty expectable not to mention hoyo wouldn't be stupid enough to neglect the customer's/players wishes especially seeing as Hsr has become the companies mayn trademark and genshin has not been doing so well since Hsr released(yes arlechino banner was very successful but you have to take into account that 3 new characters are appearing in the next patch,all of which are very popular and are expected to do very very well in getting players to pay for gems, battle pass..., as well as it being suspected that 2 other fan favourites will appear the version after that(2.4).
She won't be reseructed at all (in natlan)she is dead and won't make a return untill shneznaya where we will face her casket/coffin in the palace and then the tsaritsa will reseruct her(having the all gnosis) just to pay her back for her devotion and her having been let go/relieved of her duty will make her join us (since all Archons will be playable we will join with the tsaritsa) and so Signora would join us by default.

Hey all. I recently started a new playthrough of Metamorphosis. I'm running into a bunch of issues, though.
For starters and most importantly, my character's hands are invisible in first person. I'll attach a few images to show you, but the gist of it is the guns show up but the hands do not. Unarmed is completely invisible.
Secondly, the Vault 87 exit that should've been accessible after becoming a Super Mutant is blocked by the normal inacessible door, so I don't get the chance to remake my character as you usually do.
No cheating was used to get to Vault 87, I played the story normally and performed no skips. I have also patched Fallout 3 with the Anniversary Patcher.

I was just showing someone how awesome my framework 16 was by demonstrating how you can reconfigure the keyboard modules and quickly disassemble and reassemble the input surface, and upon powering the laptop back up, I was greeted with a message saying that the expansion bay module was not connected properly.
There was a QR code on the screen that directed me to instructions on how to switch from the expansion bay shell to the GPU module. I have the GPU module installed - it was preinstalled and I haven't tried to take it out. I imagine I have jostled it in some way that something has come loose? I took the keyboard back off and tried giving the interposer a little press to see if that would help, but no luck.
It gives me the option to skip and boot, so I assume it's not dangerous...? The laptop seems to be working fine... I'm not trying to use the GPU module (I haven't tried that yet).
Has anyone else run into this? I'm not where I can get tools out and try to re-seat the interposer, but that will be my next step later tonight.

Hi folks, I rebuilt my gaming PC a few weeks ago, and ever since then it has had some very strange problems that I can't explain with my limited knowledge. The worst of which is that it is randomly cutting off, specifically when playing performance intensive games.
The initial issue was that it would never boot on first try, it would first have an error (which I no longer remember) then it'd boot up into some sort of BIOS safe mode. This was when I was using an ASUS TUF B650-PLUS Wi-Fi board, which I returned. Now, I still have an issue where my PC takes FOREVER to boot, say around 1-2 minutes but it does boot. During this time my motherboard usually sits with its red + yellow error lights on, referring to the CPU and DRAM respectively.
Finally, I'm having random troubles with videos severely stuttering on my second monitor, regardless of whether this monitor is plugged into my iGPU or dGPU. I've not determined why this is the case or narrowed down the cause.

First of i would like to apologize in advance for the bad english in this text (not first language). I have changed some details in the story as i dont want any connections made to me from this story, hence the throwaway acc. I have been puzzled for a couple of days and i just feel like i need to Share this further even tho i was not alone in this.
It started as just any afternoon, i had just came home from the gym and had just eaten when my friend called me and asked if i wanted to take a ride on my motorcycle. This is something we do alot where we just head out and drive around with good music and good Vibes and since it was a really hot and nice day it couldent fit any better. I grabbed my helmet, keys and headed to him. At first we drove around abit and just vibed to some white girl music and lived life in the heat. As i was running low on fuel we where about to head back to him when he suddenly pointed out a semingly normal gravel path leading into the forrest. As we had nothing better to do we started to ascend the trail which was quite steep. It was so steep that my friend had to jump of for a bit while i drove up. When we reached more plane grounds we decided that i should drive forward abit just to see if there was anything to see or if it was just a dead end or some random house. I started to drive ahead abit and was first met by a wavy gravely path for a while until there on the left side was an opening in the trees revealing a trail which had quite fresh tiremarks. I thought that it abit odd but thought nothing of it really and i just continued forward when i suddenly on the trail infront of me maybe 10 feet i saw a man standing by a car. As the road curved the sight was blocked so he could not see me but i could make out his shape and some details. He looked to be in his thirthies and he wore a black cap and gray zipup. I at this point started to think that maybe we where on private property however there were No signs at all indicating that. I however decided to turn around and head back to my friend so that we could go before the man by the car could manage to drive after unknowingly that we where there. I drove back to my friend who was abit tried for having to walk with his helmet and i told him about the guy that was further up the road. We were just rakning about following the trail into the woods on the left by foot when we saw the lanterns of a car approaching from where the car had been. At that point we both just noped out of there and he practically jumped onto my motorcycle and we drove away. As we where heading back down the trail the car approached us rapidly and was soon right on my tail. We both felt that it was time to go and i pulled out on the main road just to have the car copy our turn. I saw a smaler road i had taken before that led to a bicycle path which i took us down on. As we looked back we could see the car come to a complete stop on the road before slowly drivning away.
I know that just this incident by itself may not be very disturbing and it really Isin’t and was just quite fun. The disturbing part of it is that we wanted to see the end of the road without having to go back again so we looked it up on google earth and what we found there is the really disturbing part. We found the road but when we looked at the pictures which must have been old because on the photos there were multiple houses on the side of the road on of which looked to be in really good shape with newly mowed grass and a caravan parked next to it. The situation however was really odd as there was alot of thrash on the ground and what looked to be clothes spread around on the ground next to the gravel path. Something even weirder was that when i clicked along the path to see the end of the road it was blurred and you could not see what was hidden behind it.
I could show the pictures from google earth right now but since i did not get any pictures of the road when we were there i would have no proof for everything i have already writen so there would be no point. However me and my friend will be returning there sometime this week and then i will get good pictures of where the houses where on google earth and what lies at the end of the road. Edit 1: There was a hasted change in plans and me, my friend and another guy decided to head back to the place again today insted. I probably should have taken your advice on being weary of returning. Something weird is definetly going on over there. Next to the building was a camoflauged radar mast connected to the building. Due to not wanting to reveal my real orgin and to not get in trouble with higher power i refrained from photografing the building.
