Other than that I'm into boxing, MMA, hip hop, grime, video games, building robots, cooking, travelling, terrible TV shows and exploring the world. Unfortunately I don't get as much experience of that last one as I'd planned to at this point. What with commitments to work and study being a thing. And borders. And the seeming linearity of time. Gosh the world is so inconvenient for me how rude.
I also like to ramble on about random stuff I happen to learn. It doesn't even matter what the topic is. Philosophy, science, politics, how to make the world's greatest hot wings. If there's a way to learn it I want to do it and talk about it. Although if you ask I may inadvertently talk your ears off about something you aren't really interested in in detail. Doesn't that sound great and not at all annoying?

Every photo from the S24 Ultra has a long number under Basic Data labeled "Application" that likely identifies the software used to take the photo uniquely. This is in the EXIF, or Metadata, attached to the photo,
Under Camera Data, the EXIF information includes "samsung" and "Galaxy S24 Ultra", and a bunch of information about the shot's settings (lens focal length, shutter speed, ISO, metering settings), image size, resolution, and whether the flash fired.
Under Audio Data, it repeats the application number mentioned above.
The phone doesn't show all the data when you touch the "i" in a gray circle under the photo. Seeing all of it requires opening the photo in Photoshop or some other photo-editing software.
Apple phones can be set so none of this appears attached to a photo. Is there some way to do the same thing on the S24 Ultra?
There are times when having that information attached to a photo is inconvenient at best, or even a bad idea.
Yes, there are programs that will strip that information off. The ones for use on an Android phones are enormously invasive of privacy, as their "privacy" policies say.
It would be much simpler if the data weren't put there in the first place. Does anybody know how to make that happen?

• Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?
  Not Mac, just don't prefer it. I'd enjoy a Chromebook but it won't run the Adobe software so I'd need a second device. So I guess Windows is probably best?
  

Upgradable if possible (my boyfriend is way more knowledgeable and can upgrade RAM and graphics card, so if I can get a good deal on a Frankenstein device, that works!)

Quick question? Does no one hold an official license to do a Star Trek convention in the United States anymore?
I have never been to a Star Trek canvention. I am now in my fifties and recently developed Cancer. I want to do things to enjoy life while I can enjoy things.
I did enjoy a ReedPop Star Wars Celebration over a decade ago. I dressed up with my kids and they had amazing photo opportunities, like actual set reproductions of the Millenium Falcon interior, speeder bikes, a Rancor, a Jabba's palace set, etc. I also enjoyed seeing all of the actual, screen-used props, costumes, and set pieces.
I have seen some videos of recent STLV and there doesn’t even seem to be as much as a Borg Regeneration Chamber since Creation lost the license. In some videos I did see some photo op backdrops in the hallways, but again, they were generic scifi, not even Star Trek, because... copyright.
Yes, I know that those things are a small part of the convention experience-- and the fellow fans, meeting the stars, seeing the stage presentations, seeing the vendor area, etc. are all great, too.
However, I am working on a killer uniform, and I would just really really enjoy putting myself in a 3D physical segement of the Star Trek universe. (And yes, I know photoshop and green screen can do that, but it's just not as "fun" form me.) Plus I like to geek out at the actual props every time they are on exhibit anywhere.
I heard ReedPop acquired the ST license after Creation lost it, but then it seemed like that fell apart, too.
So, TLDR:
Are there any officially licensed Star Trek Conventions currently in the U.S.? (And, if not, which ones are your favorites, and why?)

The escape room business allowed players to take photos next to the main puzzle (unsolved), but the lighting was pretty harsh. May I ask if someone could improve the lighting and maybe move the couple on the left more to the left to show the shield? It would be much appreciated!
