Hillary’s IG Stats Overview

May 2022 = 433 posts including the Chantecaille Episode = Hilz received lotions from luxury brand Chantecaille and posted a pic of Edu in a diaper with said lotions. The company didn’t repost, nor did they partner with her. Two days later, she donned her sewer slippers and accosted unsuspecting “needy” people, handing them gifts bags filled with Chantecaille lotions and $50 bills (and recorded herself doing so).
May 2023 = 18 posts including the infamous “humpy yoga” fiasco featuring unnerving eye contact.

Every choice in this video was wilder than the last.

May started with Alec appearing on the “Our Way with Paul Anka and Skip Bronson” podcast. I tried recapping it, but it was basically three boring privileged old white men rambling about their wealth and privilege. Anka’s description of living in a “Murdoch created” gated community near Malibu near the “good airport” – to avoid the unwashed masses at LAX one presumes – was where I gave up on the recap idea and just listened with a scowl.
Some lowlights:

On Having More Kids & Moving to Vermont
Alec: Well, in my family now, I'm the only person I know who drops four kids off at school in the morning and comes home and I still have three kids waiting for me. When I get home, I have seven - I have eight children. Ireland, my oldest daughter who's married, Ireland has a baby, and she and her boyfriend are living in Oregon. And I met my wife and I got remarried and I had seven kids in nine years. It's crazy. (I think you meant to say, “my wife is batshit crazy.” The devil is in the details, Zander)
And then, all of a sudden, I met my wife, who I love dearly, (I think he repeats this in virtually every interview to counter the years of talking shit about Kim Basinger) every time the baby would get to be two years old, we’d go, maybe it's time for one more baby, one more baby, so we have seven kids. But we're actually selling our house, moving to Vermont. We bought a place in Vermont, and I'm trying to get everybody to start to acclimate up there…I think my wife wants a little change of scenery now, it's so crowded out here…I love Vermont. It's so peaceful. We got a great deal. We got fifty-five acres; house was built in 1792. It's very pretty.
The Kids Want Alec Around All the Time
Host: What do you do away from your family? Meaning, do you play golf? Do you play tennis?
Alec: I play tennis all summer...The thing that's happened in these last ten years, especially the last three or four years, is my kids are used to me being around…I mean they really rely on that… when I'm gone, they're like, you know, they're on FaceTime. If I travel to go away for a couple of days to get a paycheck, they’re on my FaceTime going you know, where are you? What are you doing? You know, they're completely baffled when I go away. (God bless those kiddos and I’m preeetttttty sure they rely on Leonela/Leonetta a whole lot.)
Drug & Alcohol Use
Alec: Every day for two years, I think I snorted a line of cocaine from here to Saturn. We did one on the rings of Saturn. Then we came home. We took it back home. I mean, cocaine was like coffee back and everybody was doing it all day. I did a lot of coke and then I and then February 23rd, 1985…I stopped doing drugs and my drinking increased, which is they tell you that's going to happen, and that did happen. I just started drinking. I mean, and the thing, I miss drinking. I don't miss drugs at all, but I do miss drinking. I like to drink. (I appreciate next to nothing about this man, but I appreciate the honesty of this statement).
Host: But because you don't drink, and because you don't do drugs, what do you do? Do you meditate? What do you do to deal with the pressures of the outside, you know, forces, (I think you mean “lawsuits”, Paul) what do you do to get away from that?
Alec: (deadpan) Drink. I drink. I lied; I've been drinking nonstop since 1985. I lie. I tell people I'm sober and I drink my balls off. (Laughs) But no, I do miss drinking, I must say…New York relaxes me. I walk around and I see aspects of it that I've never seen before. I look at a building and I'll go, my god, I never noticed that about that building. Those doors. You know. New York is like a European city. You walk around and keep your eyes open. And I have lunches and coffee with my friends. (Um is he talking about the owner of Madman Espresso? Because that’s the only coffee related person we’ve ever seen him around.) And, I'd like to get out of here because the city is chaotic. (But also relaxing? What the hell?) But we live in the village. It's a little bit more residential. I love New York. I go to the symphony and the opera and the ballet all the time, you know, pretty regularly. But I do try to meditate. Meditating with seven children is like trying to play ping pong on the deck of an aircraft. It's a real pain in the ass. (But they rely on you, Alec?!?!)

Back on IG, Alec commented on a video that Ireland posted of Kim Basinger and Ireland’s partner, André, playing with baby Holland, apparently in the backyard of Kim’s home. The doting abuelo’s comment was “I know that pool deck!” – dude, say something, ANYTHING, about your daughter’s child.

He probably screamed at poor Kim on that pool deck.

An “entertainment” channel on YouTube posted an AI narrated video entitled “Laughing Through Parenthood: Alec and Hilaria Baldwin's Hilarious Family Adventures.” Friends, there is nothing remotely funny about this cheesy video, hence the 246 views (I’m responsible for one of them, sorry) and zero likes.
Alec posted a picture of Marilu captioned “Louie…” and an actually lovely picture of Rafa dancing in a dance studio. Hopefully he and his bargain bin Salma Hayek wife are moving toward just occasionally posting pictures like this (face obscured, not invading the kid’s personal space) instead of the hundreds of invasive and inappropriate pictures Hillary used to post of the kids in the pre-Rust era.

An irate comment on Alec's IG: \"I cannot believe he is wearing street shoes on those floors!\" Now deleted.

People magazine published a puff piece entitled “Alec Baldwin Is 'Understandably Worried' as His Rust Involuntary Manslaughter Trial Looms” (Exclusive Source). Here’s the entirely of what the ~~exclusive source~~ Yoel had to say:
- "Alec is stressed. He is understandably worried."
- "He has an excellent legal team. I don't think anyone is thinking jail time but given the decision for Ms. Gutierrez-Reed it’s hard to know."
- "You have to understand that at the end of the day Alec is a professional actor, so when he's on set, you wind him up, you say action, he pulls out the gun and does whatever he's supposed to do on his job. Then suddenly he's facing criminal charges. It's like, how did that even happen?"
In real news, the manslaughter charging document was released – interesting read!
Surprisingly, Alec did not post a tribute to his wife to honor her “mi cultura upbringing” on the first Sunday in May - when it's celebrated in Spain.
On May 6th, Alec’s ~~lawyers~~ vultures-for-hire filed additional motions to have the case dismissed while Said the Pap for hire posted a pic of himself with Crackhead Barney (who was wearing not much besides some Daisy Dukes a la Hillary Lynn) and Alec was spotted in the wild (with a nanny in tow, because only the peasants walk around without staff).

Imagine having to listen to this guy bloviate in addition to raising his kids.

Rory Kenndy’s lawyers responded to a subpoena issued April 19th to provide video/audio of the Baldwin documentary in the works. Kennedy’s team responded that:
- it would be “burdensome to comply” – Ah, kinda like when people asked Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas how much time she actually spent in what she called “the motherland” and she replied, “I think it would be maddening to do such a tight timeline of everything. You know, sometimes there was school involved. Sometimes it was vacation. It was such a mix, mishmash, is that the right word? Like a mix of different things.” Burdensome, Hilz. We get it.

Hillary decided to break her tradition of starting the month with a dose of crazy and eased into May on the 9^th with the first of 5 posts for the month: a story of her two youngest girls captioned “sisters.” Suuuuuuuuper coincidentally, y’all, this is the day Hailey and Justin Bieber announced that they are having a baby. Like, what are the odds, right? Also, StepTía Hilly did not like Hailey’s post (but 11M others did).

Over on his scintillating IG account, Alec posted the news that he will be co-directing a production of Macbeth with Geoffrey Horne for Shakespeare Downtown this summer. Good thing this will be in June, because there might be a bit of a scheduling conflict for Alec in July.
Alec posted two pictures of Edu: one totally scrunched in a too-small stroller and one making the patented Baldwin duck lips. Against all logic, the pic of the kid perched on a tiny stroller became the picture Alec chose as his new profile pic.
On Mother’s Day, Alec dug deep, looked back on his grid, landed on this picture he first posted in December 2023 and said, “this is the one!” It features Alec, his wife, one of their 7 kids, two very hungry caterpillars, and stars the ubiquitous Madman Espresso single use coffee cup. ¡Feliz día de la madre, Híláríá!

Speaking of madres, Dr. Kathryn Hayward is selling her life/relationship coaching shenanigans hard on YouTube and the mother of the child actor featured in Rust is thirsty AF. She posted a video of Alec and her son, Alec reposted the video - a lovefest. Good parenting vibes all around!

On May 23rd, Alec met up with Ireland, her partner and her baby in Chicago and she posted pictures of their visit to the Museum of Ice Cream (I mistakenly thought they were at the MoIC in NYC, my bad). Alec reposted the pictures along with another “Crush the Can” campaign video from the Baldwin Fund.

The next day a New Mexico judicial district judge denied the motion to dismiss the involuntary manslaughter case. This means that Alec must stand trial in July; sometimes the judicial system works in the interest of fairness. If nothing else, it is gratifying to know that he is spending through the nose to mount this legal defense.
With her usual ham-fisted timing, Hilz got to work and posted a grid video of Alec showing his phone to Ilaria Sin Hache (props to u/Longjumping-Stage647 for the moniker). It’s cute – who doesn’t love a baby in a onesie trying to talk and toddling around? Hilz for damn sure knows the value of her “vending machine of joy” and captioned her video: “I want dada, I want dada”….shes talking more and more. This is her first sentence 🤍. They love watching puppies together. The sweet things we are grateful for…that laughter. It calms the heart ⛅️”

Maybe Alec couldn’t focus on a more heartfelt tribute to his mother because was distracted by his wife’s unusual move of taking an Uber – quite normal for many but for Hillary My Ancestors Arrived on the Mayflower Hayward- Thomas, it’s usually a private car double parked for maximum chaos or sewer slippers slapping against the grime of NYC sidewalks, so this middle ground must have been confusing for PeePaw.

Your body is nice, Hillary. You don't need the alien appendages on the right or the multiple bras at once on the left.

Alec’s defense team added 9 new witnesses on the last day they were permitted to do so (5/6/24) and did not provide witness statements. Prosecutors argued that this was done in bad faith and that “the State has now been prejudiced by the defendant's strategy to gain a tactical advantage as the State is unable to file pretrial motions as it relates to the new witnesses, is unable to properly investigate the statements of the witnesses and list its own new witnesses to refute the testimony of the belatedly disclosed witnesses.” So on 5/31, the prosecutors moved to exclude the witnesses from the trial. Stay tuned…
As this legal mess was going down, Alec and Hillary made their signature move: a staged pap walk in NYC wearing ill-fitting clothes, clutching phones and Madman Espresso products. How the mightily mediocre have fallen…

Also want to point out that it was McCain who helped John Burroughs finally receive help decades after his encounter at Rendleshem Forest, and it’s been noted that McCain had a strong interest in this subject, so McConnell’s insider knowledge makes absolute sense.

Rottweiler.🤦‍♂️ I listened to that crap for a week until tonight when I finally had enough, & told him "well If! That's actually true then you need to call newspapers, Guinness, or blast it on social media cuz you can make some $ off your worlds biggest Rottweiler" lol. He actually doubled down on it & said "No! Really! We weighed him & he was 284 & that was months ago" I just said "well, really, call someone so you can make $. Cuz that's the worlds largest by a long! Shot!" (Oh & he says he can't bring the dog for proof cuz he bites & all the pics he shows are from real far away lmao)
So why lie? What's the point? No1 is giving him a sticker for his 3o0 pOuNd RoTtWeIlEr. Or say 180lbs or something somewhat believeable. Or pick a breed that actually does get to 250+ lbs. Hell hulk & kong are legit famous for their size & their only around 150lb. My king is around 100 (im 5'9 for comparison) & as you can see a head as big as mine lol, that's plenty big enough to brag about...no need to pointlessly double it (or in co-worker case triple it🙄) just to impress a coworker you see 10-20 hrs a week lol. I just don't get people telling obvious lies🤷‍♂️

2024.05.31 02:38 SlimeSpree Momo/Rodem/BFF Review (with pics!)

Back again with another review from Momo, plus a few from Rodem and Bff! I've been saving some of these Momo ones up from various orders hence we're back to my old backdrop for a few pics.

Momo Slimes
You can read my previous Momo reviews here and here! Price range between $15.99-19.75 and jar size is 7oz with waterproof labels. Every order comes with borax and care card.

REPUTATION (lava rock, thick clear, elderflower, rose water, plum, Asian pear)

So dark, witchy and sexy assembled, I love this theme! Some of the little pieces look like crushed bismuth and I actually wonder if they are indeed. The scent is gorgeous and accurate to the description to my nose. This appears black in the pot but is a seductive, deep purple when you stretch it out. This is extreme on the pokey front but the payoff is incredible if you like ASMR crunch sounds.
The texture is somewhat putty-like, this is one for slow, thoughtful stretches. Not in the least bit sticky and no dropout, always an impressive duo. As you stretch it, it starts to turn to a very dusky lilacy-silver. I don’t see how Momo could’ve executed this one better but it is strictly for those who enjoy an extremely rough texture. This has pops in it but is one for slow, mindful play for me.

HOT HONEY MILK (wood glue T&G, honey milk scented)

I was very excited for this slime having reviewed Momos’s hot honey slime which was absolutely incredible with a bang on scent. Once again, the scent is absolutely on the nose, perfect! The honey element is still boldly there but it is joined by a softer creaminess. The texture was beautiful. Creamy, chewy and thick, not in the least bit sticky. Perfect resistance on the pulls, big bubble pops. This is a total win!

THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT (pumice stone, Asian pear scented)

The scent is not bad, not a personal favourite of mine but very fresh. This is such an aesthetically pleasing slime with the beautiful pearlescent base. I personally love Momos pumice slimes. I find them beautiful and crunchy but soft on the hands. They sound absolutely amazing, so scrunchy and fizzly. This is another one for slow mindful pulls for me and is full of lovely little crackles and pops. It really does offer a pleasant hand massage. No fall out or stickiness at all.

BOBA CREAM WAFFLE (DIY clay, brown sugar boba waffle scented)

This smells amazing! Just as stated.The clay is OH SO soft and moist. It was super resistant, chewy and massively chubby, so silky, soft, buttery and lush! Hugely inflating with big old bubble pops and magical soft sizzles. I just love clay DIYs from Momo!

BROKEN HEART CAKE (DIY clay, raspberry cake scent)

A very lovely and realistic raspberry cake scent. Momo rarely misses on scents IMO! I love the fact that their clays almost always arrive in very crisp and perfect condition with no damage. Momos clays are the most insanely soft, moist clays I have ever encountered. They are absolutely dreamy to squish and your fingers just float through them like a cloud.
This combined into a huge, chubby, incredibly plush and stretchy slay. It feels like there is a little snow in here giving it an ultra soft, plush feel and the inflatability of a light snow creme. It has clicks that get louder as you inflate it and soft to medium bubble pops. I loved it! It became a monster and I decanted it into a 500ml/16.9oz jar. Whenever Momo release a cake I grab it, I’ve never been disappointed!
And we're back to the roses!

CHIA SEED DRINK (cleamini frogspawn, lychee scented)

Momo’s lychee scent is incredible but if you pay very close attention there is a slight hint of a rubbery smell from the plastic balls. Momo clearly washes theirs very well as the rubber scent sits very subtly under the lychee rather than vice versa. The more you play the more you note the lychee over the plastic. I don’t think the scent is an issue at all.
Slightly sticky on the surface for a Momo but one quick puff of activator sorted that out right away for the duration of play. This is a lovely slime with a good bit of resistance and clean, free stretches that don’t rip despite it being slightly over activated, as is always the way with Momo's slimes and commendable. None of the balls fell out for me.
The croaking of the mini frogspawn beads is satisfying and there is a generous amount of them in the slime but I think the scrunching/croaks and vibrations are a bit more dramatic with larger sized frog spawn beads. I play quite slowly and mindfully with this texture, mostly pushing and squeezing with the odd stretch. I aim to create an emphasis the glorious croaks, I'm obsessed with them. This has some sharp little pops and cracks to it and fits back into the jar perfectly afterwards.

GOURMET BUTTER (wood glue slay, sweet butter scented)

This smells like butter. Not butter cream or any cake derivative, nope, it smells like a stick of butter! 😆 I feel this will be a very divisive scent and simply can’t decide whether I like it or not at first sniff! By the end of play I determined that I neither liked it or disliked it. However it is not so strong that it was bothersome to me.
Soft, velvety and plush (a bit of snow in here I think.) It has a dry and matte feeling surface with a decent bit of resistance. Quiet pokes and soft bubble pops. Inflatable with a little bit of jiggle and medium hold. The texture is very nice indeed and it really looks a lot like a gourmet butter too so I attempted to style my swirl as a posh butter curl! 😆

KIKI’S MILK BUN (DIY clay/fluffy milk bun scented)

I love that Momos clays always arrive in perfect condition. The thick plastic bag wrapper seems to protect it from rattling in its container and getting dinks, as well as sticking to its surroundings. This smells of a sweet milk bun and is again quite butter focused, the scent reminds me of the Gourmet butter but with a hint of bread and is preferable to me.
The clay is incredibly soft and buttercream-moist, gorgeous to squish into the jiggly, glossy base. This combined to a plush, matte, super fluffy, high-to-medium hold texture with a firm jiggle once inflated, again reminiscent of the Gourmet butter in texture also. It has soft and medium soft clicks and the same for bubble pops. If you super inflate it gives lovely soft sizzles. I ended up with a ton of slime that called for one of my biggest jars (just shy of 17oz) I love this texture, this is a wonderful slime!

BROWN SUGAR BUBBLE TEA (T&G, brown sugar bubble tea scented)

The base scent is very subtle, the little pot of sauce does smell just like brown sugar boba and contains boba beads. It comes into itself once combined and smells delicious. A lovely thick and chewy T&G with lots of resistance that sticks around as you play. Quiet pokes that get a little louder as it inflates. Lots of amazing crackles and big, loud pops as well as a very slight firm jiggle as it inflates. It's an inflating one, it went into an 8oz jar after play. This was a gorgeous slime.

I love the various stages of the swirls.

Momo really do hit the nail on the head pretty much every time for me and this run was another 10/10. Even if the scents aren't my favourites of all time, they are all done well and with extreme finesse. The textures are always perfectly and thoughtfully made, well activated (actually very slightly over-activated which means they never arrive melted and very, very rarely sticky) and well packaged. There is good reason Momo is held in such high regards by the slime community! They absolutely deserve their reputation.

Rodem Slime Shop
I've reviewed Rodem quite a few times and have a lot of love for them, my most recent big review being here. Their jars are 7.5oz and priced between $12.99 and $19.50. The labels are waterproof.

SAKURA DONUT (DIY clay, cherry blossom cake)

The scent is incredible with all the stated notes faithfully there. This is a thick, super chubby, stretchy butter leaning clay slime that smells utterly delicious as you combine and stretch it. It is gorgeous and ultra copious. Medium finger clicks that get louder as you inflate and lots of medium soft bubble pops. Have yourself a big container for this one. I couldn’t even fit it all in my larger mega pots which are just shy of 17oz!

DEEP SEA SHARK (cleagravel, choice between plum and mango scent, I went for plum)

The plum scent is a little subtle but very lovely indeed: warm, sultry, dark and fruity. The base is very thick and well activated. This is a very heavy and dense slime in the hands. The pebbles are not sharp but they are a little angular and some might find them a bit rough. The ASMR sounds are scrunchy and pleasant, a little more subdued than some but wonderful.
This makes great crackles and pops from stretching and folding and none of the pebbles fell out. The more it warms up the stretchier it gets but it never loses its integrity and stays chubby and thick. Once it was all the way warmed up I was able to pinch and stretch large panels of slime creating some very good, sharp bubble pops. The frothier it gets the better it sounds. I personally think this is super pretty after it is played with and the little blue gems really do pop. Another winner from Rodem with a super cool shark charm!

CUPCAKE HOUSE (mini blockhead slay, cherry blossom plum strawberry scented)

The scent is very fresh and quite tart, a lovely combo. This is a thick, fluffy, jiggly slay which feels like it has just a little bit of snow in it. It starts off dense with lots of resistance and looks great with the pretty block beads. Of course it’s a little bit pokey on account of the block beads so it boils down to preference but I find this a great base texture to cushion them a bit, they feel much sharper in a clear slime. They trap lots of air in it which makes for some awesome bubble pops from the sharp to the deep and low and of course gives you tons of little snaps and crackles. The beads fall out a tiny bit but nothing problematic or excessive. This is an extremely pleasant and entertaining slime.

Rodem smashed it with another 10/10 on this beautiful batch. Their textures and scents are fantastic and their themes a great deal of fun. My only complaint is the frequency with which they bring out irresistible slimes, I just can't stop buying them! 😂

You can read my last review of BFF here. When I went back to their website and saw they had a glow in the dark sand/perlite slime similar to Huckleberry Pie I had to grab it with both hands!
As well as their famously stunning packaging, care card and some lovely free gifts in the way of a funky bracelet and extra cute squishy, I found both a free, full sized slime and little envelope in my packaging. Inside the envelope was the sweetest hand written card from Leia, Shelly, Lauren and Thalia saying they read my last review and were sad to hear that some of the slimes were under-activated. In light of that they said they had over-activated these for me!! ❤️ Thank you so so much guys! This means a lot and I just can't tell you how much I appreciated this incredibly thoughtful gesture!
This sort of customer service is truly commendable and reflects the care and passion that this store puts into their products as well as a high level of concern for customer satisfaction. This makes the experience all the more special to me and really makes me want to support them (albeit they make it easy by creating such lovely slimes.) It’s also very nice to know they are willing to over-activate as BFF’s themes and textures really appeal to me and I want to buy more but was worried about melting!
Slight-overacting slime (a practise that stores such as Momo, OG, Slime Japan and others engage in) is a great plan and means they land with folks in absolutely perfect condition more often than not, ready to play with and with no messing around. Some people may choose to add a drop of glycerine if they prefer them looser but personally I don't mind a tiny bit of over-activation at all, I prefer it as I love resistance and a little scrunch on the pulls.
It always feels like a party with BFF! Their packaging is gorgeous!

GLOW SCRUB (BFF's coated clear sugar sand base that has been sprinkled with neon glow in the dark sand granules. Topped with a neon yellow coated clear perlite layer. scented like Kilian's Love, Don't be Shy with notes of orange blossom with soft marshmallow.)

On BFF’s website it states that if you loved Huckleberry Pie you will love this and I absolutely adore Huckleberry Pie so was so excited to see this one, especially with the added fun of the glow in the dark element!
I am not familiar with the Kilian’s Love scent but it smells really pleasant and hasn’t got the strange undertone I picked up from Huckleberry Pie. It’s a soft, floral, perfume leaning scent, musky with a little sweetness, not overpowering at all.
The pop of neon yellow just looks so cool and the compacted biscuit of sand on the bottom is amazing to crush into the perlite. The sizzles and scrunches are just heavenly, this reminds me totally of huckleberry pie but….IT FREAKING GLOWS! Damn, this is an epic slime and I’m thrilled that I actually managed to get a good photo of it doing its thang! It looks like there are little multi-coloured lights in there, how clever!
This is perfectly activated. It has a ton of resistance but no ripping. The more I inflate the better it smells. As you start to stretch it the ASMR sounds get crazy. It is absolutely exploding with sizzle and fizz and sounds like a hot sizzling pan combined with footsteps through scrunchy gravel. It has an absolute ton of crackles and sharp pops and spine tingling sizzles when you deflate. This is everything I could wish for from this texture, which has come to be one of my favourites. I really hope BFF keep making variations of it as they have nailed this less commonly seen combo of sand and perlite. If you like scrunch, fizz and super sizzle this one is absolutely for you!

How sick is that!!! 🤩 They reminded me of party lights on the patio on a summer's night.

BEST DAY EVER (snow butter, yuzu scented)

This is a new texture from BFF. The scent is a soft and fresh yuzu with lots of citrussy notes. This is a beautiful, ultra plush, slightly fuzzy, matte, inflatable, holdable snow butter texture. Absolutely spot on activation-wise. Great, gliding stretches with just enough resistance but without any ripping. This is a really beautiful slime that has wonderful soft sizzles and mini crackles when you inflate and then press down on it, as it traps a lot of air. I love it when the surface of slimes start to break up as pictured below, it’s the hallmark of the amazing soft sizzles to come! This isn't a texture I usually go for and this slime had me wondering why!
When you start to see that bottom right texture after inflating you know the soft sizzles are going to be fantastic!

I was overjoyed with this round of slimes from BFF, they absolutely nailed it and the extra bit of activation made my experience even better. I am thrilled to say this was yet another 10/10 review for me and I can't wait to see what ingenious designs they come up with next!

Here is a realistic cast I’d like to see on season 2. Below are my reasons why I think they’d be realistic casting or wildcards.
DeLeesa (The Circle) - DeLeesa is from The Circle which I have watched. She was good and I hope to see a circle player get a better shot than Joey did. I think she has done some reality after The Circle so I think it’d be realistic for her to do it.
Mehgan James (Bad Girls Club) - Mehgan is from Bad Girls Club which I have watched. I don’t know how realistic it would be for her but she has been wanting to do cleaner shows and this is pretty clean. Season 1 of The Goat hasn’t had any bad girls, but House of Villains has had two, so I think it’s realistic.
Phaedra (Real Housewives) - I never really watched real housewives but know a thing or two. Phaedra was great on the traitors and I believe she would be open to doing another strategy game.
Stassi (Vanderpump Rules) - Season 1 of The Goat had someone from Vanderpump so I think it’s realistic to do it again. I never watched it but knew Stassi from Queen Bees, a show she did in the 2000’s. I know she stepped away from Vanderpump but I think it would be realistic to cast her. However, it is just as realistic for her to say she’s moved on. Would probably compete for her family.
Michelle Fitzgerald (Survivor) - I have watched Survivor but I haven’t watched The Challenge on MTV. So I’m not sure how she’s perceived by the MTV fanbase. She is still doing reality tv so I think it’s realistic for her to do it. She’s competitive.
Amanda Garcia (The Challenge) - I have watched The Challenge USA on CBS so I know a bit about Amanda but not her full Challenge MTV story. I know she has a history with Michelle so I think it would be good casting and also realistic.
Corrine Olympios (Bachelor Nation)- Never watched the bachelor but I know Corrine from House of Villains. They could cast anyone but I put her in place as the only bachelor person I know. It’s realistic for her to do the show because she did House of Villains.
Tineke Younger (Next Level Chef) - This is definitely a wild card. I have come across Tineke on social media. She is a social media chef however she was on Next Level Chef and placed 8th. Because season 1 had a chef I thought it would be realistic for them to get another chef type person and I think with her social media presence she’d be a good addition.
Cory (Big Brother) - Never watched big brother but kept up with 25 because Cirie from survivor was on. Cory seemed to be good at strategy, aninteresting player, got a fanbase so I chose him. I’m sure there’s plenty of winners/players to choose from, feel free to suggest someone realistic!
Mike Shouhead (Shahs of Sunset) - I never watched Shahs of Sunset but Reza has been fun and MJ was fun on the traitors. I looked up the cast and Mike is younger than Reza and seems to be an active fit guy by the pic posted. I think it would be realistic to get him on the show.
Player 432 (Squid Game) - Player 432 was from Netflix’s Squid Game. Last season had two Netflix people so I think it’s realistic. Player 432 was pretty polarizing to viewers and other players. I think he’d be a fun wildcard.
Vinny (Jersey Shore) - I’m sure we are all familiar with Vinny. This past episode had a Jersey Shore reference. He has done shows like All Star Shore and Dancing with the Stars so I think he’d be open to doing a show like this.
Monet X Change (Drag Race) - I know Monet from drag race. I’m not sure if they will go by Kevin in the way Alyssa Edwards went by Justin. Monet has expressed wanting to go on Survivor so I think it’s realistic to get them on here.
Bishme (Project Runway) - Season 1 did not have anyone from Project Runway so I don’t know how realistic it is to get anyone from there. I think Bishme would be a fun addition. However I don’t know how many designers go back to reality TV in this fashion. So I want to say unrealistic unfortunately. But hopeful as they are also a Bravo person.
Safaree (Love & Hip Hop) - I don’t know if they would get anyone from Love & Hip Hop but I think Safaree would be a good cast. I want to say realistic on his end because he’s done shows like Scared Famous.
Benedict Polizzi (F boy Island) - correct me if I’m wrong but I think the show is produced by someone who produced F boy Island. Because they had CJ on there I think it would be cool to see a guy from that show. Never watched it but after googling the show I find this guy. He has done season 2 and 3 so I think it’s realistic for him to do it. Feel free to recommend anyone from that show.

After stalking them on every social media platform and reddit I reached a conclusion about their relationship .I have seen everything about them Their shipping pages,Their hate pages,Their individual posts etc.
CONCLUSION:They are and were always dating But the twist is that they are in a open relationship.
REASON:I reached this opinion beacuse I had read that shubman does sleep around and reading all their dating stuff and the hints I felt they are a pr couple but then remembered Sara is not a random score chic she is the daughter of THE SACHIN TENDULKAR. and he seems to be really protective of her so I don't think he will allow his daughter to go to watch a wc match even after knowing the rumours.Her reaction was even pretty real when he got out on 92 in wc .Sachin always had cleared up the rumours relating to his family but not this one .Even after it has been going around for years.And Sachin didn't clear it up even after fans shouting her name in stands.He was a cricketer (with great sex life) so I think he knows that cricketers are high on testosterone and need to hook up every now and then so he allowed them to be in an open relationship. And I believe they are dating because last year during wc Chirag Suri thing happened and later on he did apologize but it seemed like sort of unreal beacause yuvraj singh had commented "🤣🤣🤣" on that post and he was even teased by virat kohli by asking crowd to cheer louder by Sara's name and virat even did batting action of Sachin and Shubman was doing nothing but blushing and it was in jan 2023 so as sak said she never dated him so he was being teased by ST's name and if you have noticed he was even teased by Virat in wc match while batting.Sak even confirmed that she had seen them together (in kwk) .They were even seen together in jio event in background of Harnaz Sandhu pic with orry.Shubman was even teased by his friend on his birthday in 2022 as well by wishing his Bhut SARA pyar.But sara was dating siddarth kerkar all the while and she then in july 2023 seemed to be dating Shubman gill .Arjun even seems to be good friends with shubman but I don't think any brother whose sis would be cheated by her bf would never be good friends with her ex.Shahneel even follows arjun's private account. They do meet often on trips.Sachin even wished shubman on birthday last year that is something he never does for a young cricketer Because Ishan was equal in game till mid last year and he wasn't wished.
So Their TIMELINE goes as:They started dating in 2017 or early 2018.Things were great until end of 2021 they used to meet each other in London and India because they weren't so famous then so no one really cared . Shubman used to sleep around and sara knew about it and he even followed random white models at that time. Sara seemed to be unbothered .They both do have true feelings each and care for each other a lot as we saw during wc that shubman used to send his friend Jugnu with sara .But in the end of 2021 sara had a fling and shubman came to know about it and they had an argument and shubman out of jealously and possessiveness blew things out of proportion and sara called out for a breakup leaving shubman heartbroken. They both brokeup and sara moved on quickly but shubman went on random dates and tried to get into a relationship but he couldn't and continued with his flings He even unfollowed her on social media and she even did the same .Then in around jan 2022 they got back together and sara was cheating on her ex Siddarth back then with shubman and they even went to a restaurant on Valentines day in London.He even started following her on social media .Then they decided to stay in a open relationship. When news about them started blowing up he unfollowed her on social media . And they have never accepted their relationship in public because if they don't end up together they will not be under any social pressure.
If you don't believe in these proofs go through shubman and sara shipping pages you will know each and everything. Sorry for wasting your time unnecessary detailed info.

2024.05.30 17:41 D2KT Update on my previous post asking for advice on cleaning/servicing Split ACs (both indoor & outdoor units). Here's my own experience

About 10 days ago, I made a post on this subreddit, asking for advice and personal experience with getting your Split ACs cleaned. Since I've gotten mine serviced, I thought I'd share my own experience and advice for getting yours done.

I have 3 Split ACs.

One Gree (non Inverter, 1.5 Ton (18K BTU) ~ 14 years old)
2 Orient (both Inverters, 1.5 Ton, one ground and one upper floor, and 5 and 6 years old)

One of the Orient is used around 10-15 hours a day from May to September. The Gree one is used 3-6 hours a day and the other Orient hasn't been in use since 2 years.
Only the outdoor units for the ground floor Orient and Gree were ever cleaned once in 2022. The indoor units of all 3 AC's were never serviced to the best of my knowledge. Only the removable plastic filters on top of the cooling coils/fins were regularly cleaned.
All 3 ACs were 'fine'. The Gree one I felt didn't work as well as it did in 2012-2014 (lol) but since then, we've moved to a hotter city (Peshawar), but it's now a ground floor room that it's installed in, rather than an upper floor one. Although, the house overall is hotter because unfortunately it's facing East (back of the house) to West (front of the house). The room it's in faces West.
But again, no complaints or perceivable downgrade in performance.

Performance Difference:

Since I randomly came across cheap room thermometers (with a hygrometer as well) on Daraz, I bought a couple of them last year. As I didn't have these before, I couldn't tell how fast room temperatures were falling when the ground floor Orient was newly installed. So any drop in performance over the years wasn't really noticed (or noticeable)

Before: (Gree)

The room in which Gree is installed is on ground floor, facing outwards (West), size of 13x15 sq ft. Readings were taken on May 16, starting at 11:00 pm.

Initial reading: 30.7°C

After 29 mins: 28.7°C

After 64 mins: 27.3°C

Total drop of 3.4°C in 1hr 4mins.
After: (Gree)

this room (and the house overall) is the coolest at 12-2pm. It gets hotter around evening, and the hottest around dusk 7pm, till 11-12pm, after which the rooms at the ground floor start cooling down.
readings were taken right after it was cleaned. May 21 (weather has gotten noticeably hotter than May 16), starting at 12:00 pm.

Intial reading: 32.4°C

After 1 hour: 25.8°C

After 2 hours: 21.9°C

A drop of 6.6°C at the 1 hour mark and a total drop of 10.5°C in 2 hours.
Going by the at 1 hour mark temps, (3.4°C vs. 6.6°C), this is a near 2x increase in performance. It's considerably more than 2x when you factor in the difference of the hotter weather and the time of the day when the after readings were taken.
In ~ 14 years, the indoor unit was never cleaned. Outdoor unit was cleaned "officially" once and might have been "cleaned" by rain regularly before we moved here, since it didn't have full roof cover on top, where it was placed.

Before: (ground floor Orient)

Coolest room in the house. Size 14.75x13 sq ft. Readings taken on May 16, at 8:20 pm

Intial reading: 30.7°C

After 14 mins: 29.2°C

After 1hr 24mins: 25.1°C

Total drop of 5.6°C in ~ 1.5 hours.
After: (ground floor Orient)

Readings taken on May 25 (weather is even hotter than May 21), at 2:00 pm

Intial reading: 32.8°C

After 8 mins: 30.5°C

After 45 mins: 27.4°C

Total drop of 5.4°C in 45 minutes.
Compared with the before readings i.e 5.6°C in exactly 84 minutes, this is also a near 2x increase in performance. Before factoring in the hotter weather + difference in time of day when readings were taken.

Before: (upper floor Orient)

Hottest room in the house. Faces west with direct sunlight. Size of 17.5x14 sq ft. Readings taken on May 16, at 12:41 pm

Intial reading: 33.3°C

After 31 mins: 29.9°C

After 1hr 32mins: 27.7°C

After 2hrs 1min: 26.7°C

Total drop of 5.6°C at ~ 1.5 hour mark and 6.6°C at 2 hour mark.
After: (upper floor Orient)

Readings taken on May 25, much hotter weather compared to May 16, at 3:10 pm, with sunlight coming in directly through the windows but covered by regular curtains. It was like this throughout all 5 readings.

Initial reading: 37.0°C

After 27 mins: 33.2°C

After 1hr 17mins: 31.3°C

After 1hr 56mins: 30.7°C

After 3hrs 35mins 29.7°C

A drop of 5.7°C in 1.3 hrs and a total drop of 7.3°C in ~ 3.5 hrs.
The guy doing the cleaning said it would take 5-6 hours for temps to go under 30°C.
It's hard to compare with the before figures, but considering before, it dropped 3.4°C in 31 mins and after cleaning, 3.8°C in 27 mins, factoring in the much hotter time of day and weather change, it's definitely a noticeable increase in performance.
Also, the indoor unit of this AC wasn't nearly as dirty as the other two. The outdoor one was just as dirty as the other Orient, and more than Gree.

Cleaning Experience

Gas Leakage:

One of my main concerns because the indoor unit had to be disconnected. They did this by first turning on the AC, which sucks in all the refrigerant into the compressor. And after some time, they close the outlet valve, which means it can't leave the compressor. After some more time, they close the inlet valve to the compressor and shut down the AC (not exactly sure which one is done first). The whole process takes 2-3 minutes.
After reconnecting the refrigerant lines, he used a small dishwashing sponge and some shampoo to work up a lathefoam and then rubbed it around the connecting joints, to see if there was any leak (bubbles would pop in the foam if there was) after opening the compressor valves.

Bending cooling fins with a pressure washer:

This is one of the main reasons you'll see pressure washers not being really recommended (online) for use. Those fins on the indoor unit provide more surface area for heat exchange and you don't want them getting bent if you can avoid it. I didn't notice any bending on my Gree unit after getting washed. Weirdly, there was already some bending in small areas. There was a little bending on both Orient units. Especially at the clear end with no digital equipment/wire connections/sensors.
The reason is because the indoor unit is held like this when it's being pressure washed. If you hit these (blue) fins at an angle then you'll bend them. It also depends on the pressure you've set. Too low and it won't clean as good or as quickly and too high and you'll have a higher chance of bending these fins, or worse, splashing water on the electrical components on the top end.
Ideally, the pressure has to be just right and you have to move the pressure washer spray gun such that the water coming out of its nozzle is always parallel to the fins. And if you're lazy and not squatting down or bending your knees, then you'll be hitting the fins on the other end at an angle because you're only moving your wrist to direct water at that end, which is why all of the fin bending happened on that end in my case.
Make sure you talk to the guy and explain that fins will be bent if he doesn't adjust the pressure via the spray gun nozzle and if he doesn't keep the water spray parallel to the fins. They keep it high because it washes faster that way. So you have to remind him that, although a few bent fins aren't the end of the world and can be straightened, having them bent every year on a AC is just not ideal. Keep the pressure low via nozzle (less sharp stream of water, more mist-y) and move your hand up and down along the length of the indoor unit. Don't take "khuday ba khair kai" for an answer.

Avoiding water on any electrical components:

Another main concern I had. In the case of Gree, he unscrewed that portion and took it out, so that wasn't an issue. And also, the blower fan was also separated from the cooling coils in the indoor unit, to be cleaned separately. This wasn't the case with both Orients. I asked him multiple times if water was going to be splashed inside of these electrical components and he repeatedly told me not to worry as it won't get there. I thought about covering them in plastic from the outside but it wouldn't work much because water could still easily go from under it, at an angle.
This is one of the reasons I personally think using a pressure washer over a garden hose is better because with a pressure washer, your water stream is uniform at all times so you can direct it accurately and with a garden hose, you'll have to use your thumb to create a jet and you'll be adjusting your thumb many times, risking a splash in places where you don't want water to go.
Also, I have a 600W blower so I used that to dry out the electrical components side for about a minute or so. You don't need to worry about fully drying out the condenser coils/cooling fins because that portion gets wet during the normal operation of the AC itself when warm humid air goes over it and moisture condenses all over it as a result.

Cleaning agents:

Only water. No foam or any sort of chemical was used.

Outdoor units:

They weren't opened. Used pressure washer to only wash the fins from the side and from the top. On non-inverter units, there aren't any "circuit boards" in the outdoor units that you need to worry about not hitting. On inverter ones, you do and if you fry them, you'll end up paying 20-30K for a replacement.
It's on the underside of the top corner (?) of the outdoor unit. You'll splash it with water if you direct the spray gun/garden hose like this, behind the fan

Washing indoor unit without disconnection:

The reason he gave me for this is because it isn't cleaned as thoroughly if it's still up on the wall and some gunk stays inside, pools up and blocks pathways for condensation to leave, which will cause water drops to leak from the front when enough condensation has built up inside over regular usage and can't leave normally because of the blockage.

Price:

Rs. 2,500 for Gree. Rs. 4,500 for both Orient units.

2024.05.30 07:01 No_Pomegranate7134 How many foreign tourists are ignorant of the rules / guidelines (even laws) or blatantly disregarding social etiquette & cultural customs in Italy that is deemed disrespectful by the locals?

I can only speak about Japan, it's getting bad in regards to over-tourism. For instance in Kyoto, there was a tourist acting like a some sort of 'wannabe' papparazzi bothering the Geisha walking around, she was reprimanded by another tourist saying that it's rude (rightly so) as the Geisha was just trying her best to not interfere as she's working. You can't do that, as Geisha are humans like everybody else, they don't like to be bothered by unruly tourists up close.

(Plus Japan has strict privacy laws about posting a photo portrait of someone's face up close without their permission on social media, as you can actually get sued for breaching their right to privacy.)

The thing is that Japan has unspoken rules (even for the slightest ones) including etiquette that may not cross over to Western culture, which is why Western tourists often fail to understand or completely disregard it, since they think "It's Asia, who gives a damn!" but that kind of mentality of them thinking it's okay to do stuff Japan deems inappropriate is just crazy.

(A traveler has to be culturally aware of where they are in the world regardless of the country they are currently in, there are mannerisms that are acceptable in their home country but frowned upon in foreign land.)
Apart from Westerners, tourists from both China and South Korea frequently travel to Japan, due to their geographical proximity to their home countries. However there are mannerisms from their own country that aren't tolerated in Japan. (i.e. spitting on the floor)
I swear, what attracts tourists is: video games, anime & pokemon! It's one of the biggest reasons why they end up bringing a empty suitcase to only fill it with nothing but snacks, games, QoL items from Japan.

It's disgusting when tourists in Kyoto (especially in Gion or the Geisha district) are acting like paparazzi whenever they spot a Geisha or Maiko, constantly invading their space approaching up so close, that is so rude! pretending as if they are celebrities or actresses, they ask the question on "can I take photo of you" with the attitude of "I want your autograph!" Its ridiculous!
[Japanese news segment talking about trash (or food scraps) left on the floor by tourists after visiting Gion and Kyoto despite bins present in the area!] with some of them eating while walking, which is frowned upon in Japan. As a manager from one of the stores showed photos from the last time tourists were present as 3 bins shown are full and clogged, thus giving tourists an incentive to litter leaving trash on the floor!

Even in other parts of the city, tourists leave empty bottles of soju including other beverages out in the street and pavement! Not being bothered to clean up after themselves.

There are even cases of tourists harassing them, pulling their hair, putting out cigarette butts on their kimonos or tearing their attire, it's bad! To the point the local government in Kyoto restricted (but didn't ban) tourist presence within private roadways.
They deter tourists from entering private roads where Geisha's hang out with a penality of ¥10000 (58,80 €) for trespassing, this applies to everyone - not just tourists. They should not be trespassing on private property, like at all!
Just recently, there are tourists caught trespassing on those private roads. (However the signage is working as a deterent for most, due to the fine imposed.) but like anywhere else there will be bad apples in the bunch who will of course, trespass on private property.

I mean, you can still go to Kyoto, but please... have some manners, that is what they are asking from visitors, as it's a living art museum that has been preserved for centuries to this day, which what makes Kyoto fascinating to visit in the first place.
Even though there are public streets, some of the surrounding ones are deemed private property (which tourists are unaware of.) I also hate the misinformation from "Western" media regarding a "Tourist Ban" - it's not true, you can still go there, but just comply with the rules.

A tourist was caught on video ringing a bell at Yasaka Shrine (which is used for ceremonial purposes) not for playing around, they actually barred off the rope attached to the bell since that happened. (Just because Japan is not a "Christian" country, doesn't mean you get to disrespect their culture and religion, it's gross!) Think of it as someone randomly ringing a bell at a Church in Rome randomly when it's intended to be used only during mass.
Not forgetting the issue that tourists occupy most of the available capacity in regards to public transport, the same ones locals use every day. That causes problems for local commuters, which is why there's a demand for specalized transport instead of tourists taking the regular one.
In most cases the train just passes by that station if there's insufficient space available. This also applies to restaurants too, as the queue is too long or results in longer waiting times for the locals in which they are the regular customer base, as tourists have invaded those too.
For example, in Japan: there was news coverage about tourists being careless on the roadway despite orange traffic cones and a barrier visible on the side of the road intended to dissuade them, tourists either halted incoming vehicles & traffic standing in the middle of the road (MEANT FOR CARS!) just to take a picture of Mt. Fuji. [It's stupid and dangerous if you ask me.] (I'm like: "Do they seriously want to be run over by a passing vehicle? It's a road designed for INCOMING traffic! Not a sidewalk!")
Some tourists STAND or SIT on the barrier, which is just like, why? Japan has a habit on indirectly solving any problem rather than confronting it head on, so they would rather install a fence to deter tourists rather than closing the road entirely to redirect incoming traffic, like instead of improving the infrastructre Kawaguchiko near Fuji, they just want to barricade the view. (There's even CCTV installed on a pole not far from the barrier that keeping the area under constant surveilance by cops.)
You're probably thinking "Why can't they just close the road and redirect the cars elsewhere? So the tourists can happy." It's because confrontation is frowned upon in Japan, in order to not tarnish their reputation, they instead come up with indirect and descrete approaches on providing solutions to the issue at hand i.e. such as over-tourism, it's nothing new. For example, they would put signage in Kyoto to deter or convince tourists rather than actually confronting them.
Due to Japan being a collectivist society where social harmony reigns, where you need an unanimous vote to rule in your favor without any objections from all parties in regards to decision making when talking about matters like this from a governmental or societal standpoint.

(As opposed to Europe & The West where Individualism is valued, Japan is more of "We have to do this as a team" mentality rather than "I want to do this for myself only" so that in itself is a cultural difference.)

Tourists flooded another spot「夢の大橋」("Ponte dei sogni") for taking pictures of the mountain, walking up the stairway for the "instagrammable" picture.
[at around 4:41] They even caught tourists JAYWALKING in the middle of the roadway even though there's incoming traffic. (Despite the cones and barriers present.)
There's a group of tourists who were standing on the side of the road divider with incoming traffic loitering there. (Even a van drove right past them, as it's a ROAD - NOT A SIDEWALK!)
[at around 6:33-6:52] A tourist was standing behind a vehicle approaching the driver. (You can't halt vehicles in the middle of the road and distract the driver! - It's insane!)
[at around 6:69] Tourists posing in the middle of the lane divider for their "instagram" pics. (You are not allowed to loiter in the road divider!)
[at around 8:30] A mother and daughter who were tourists TRESPASSED on private property, as there was a sign displaying「立入禁止」("DIVETO DI ACCESSO!") treading on the premises.
Of course, tourists litter and leave trash on the street, since Japan has no bins available at public places. (only at designated spots.)
Even the locals in that area are starting to complain and getting fed up with tourists constantly populating the area - violating the rules, being a 迷惑 ("Disturbo")

Tourists standing on the barrier with their own two feet, which again is not allowed. Even Japan's ministry of transportation put out a clear statement regarding implmenting countermeasures on a location you are not meant to tread on (or be jaywalking) so their solution is to "install a barrier" to deter them. But we know how that will end up, tourists still disregard the fact there's a barrier.
There's another spot where tourists now can take a picture of Fuji, it's some stairway of an overhead bridge, but people again cross the road (or jaywalk) just to reach it. Not long ago, a female tourist was run over by an incoming vehicle (due to her standing in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD) for the "instagrammable" picture of the mountain. [This happened in Kawaguchiko.]
Speaking of Kawaguchiko, the Lawsons there including Mt. Fuji are always featured on as the backdrop of every TikTok talking about tourism in Japan (alongside Kyoto) Yep, there were even 2 tourists caught jaywalking disregarding the ACTUAL pedestrian crossing. Some tourists are standing on the store's sign posts positioned nearby (that have running electricity and LEDs.) using that as a makeshift tripod for their iPhones!
In regards to Mt. Fuji, on TikTok there are so many "copy cat" itinerary submissions, even the thumbnails are basically the 'same' you can literally see the similarities [down below]. (hence why there are so many tourists flooding the area), like this:
Despite these posts coming from different users from all over the world, they are basically copying each other's itineraries. It's like this no matter how long I've scrolled through the site.
Since Japan started installing a black tarp obstructing the view of Mt. Fuji, tourists still poked holes through it. It's not opaque as you can partially see through it, or walk to the otherside where a Lawson stands, but some still jaywalk disregarding the actual pedestrian crossing even when there's a cop or security guard present.
From this video, a complaint filed by a dental clinic within the area, stating that tourists are leaving trash or left over food scraps near their premises, loitering on the steps approaching their clinic (only patients are allowed to enter) the clinic. Here, there are even complaints from the clinic mentioning about tourists parking their bikes on bike racks only designated for patients entering their clinic, along with trespassing on their premises. Even the dentist himself took photos regarding tourists loitering outside the clinic, patients are having a hard time getting inside because of this.
Not forgetting that they are trespassing on the rooftop, to the point the dentist (or the staff) resorted to calling the police multiple times due to this! Again, tourists were told to move out of the way or move their belongings to let incoming vehicles pass to park their cars at a Lawson. (Even the driver of a incoming truck had to honk at them! so they can move.)
Like what was happening in Kawaguchiko, the same is now happening in Fujiyoshida, at a pedestrian crossing, despite a security guard being present, people still disregarded rules about crossing the road, at around [3:00] from the video, the driver of an incoming vehicle had to honk at the tourist standing in the middle of the road so they can pass. (It's stupid.) Of course they were honked at by the driver (He's probably like: "What the hell is this idiot doing here standing in the middle of the road for cars!"), as you're not meant to loiter there halting traffic!

[0:42-0:48] Groups of tourists jaywalk again, when it is ill-advised, even a car just drove past. Even some are stalling traffic!
[2:49] There's a female tourist posing for a selfie in the middle of the road (while the main traffic light is green!) meaning that cars are still driving past, not the pedestrians turn to cross.
[3:41] The news reporter even warned a Chinese tourist to not stand in the middle of the road, regardless he didn't listen until an incoming vehicle was about to approach them as the reporter warned him that it's dangerous to stand on the road!
[4:05] A tourist again, standing in the middle of the pedestrian crossing! The vehicle in red had to honk since that tourist refused to move out of the way! (It's insane! How can you not simply just move so the car can pass!?)

Just last year, Mt. Fuji itself was suffering from an over-tourism problem on its own since tourists are dying to climb to the summit, but some were ill equipped. (There was even a woman caught wearing shorts and sandals upon the trip to the summit - not suitable for climbing!) Some climbers show up shirtless or come ill-prepared along with creating a makeshift bonfire.

Public amenities (i.e. Toilets) are vandalized, damaged or destroyed due to over-tourism, now they are enforcing an entry fee of ¥2000 (11,75 €) to enter Mt. Fuji because of this! Tourists leave trash everywhere, crowds of them wanting to head to the summit in large gatherings, which causes problems leading to overcapacity.
Don't get me wrong, tourists do show up with proper gear (i.e. spiked shoes, ice axes, etc.) and attire heading for the summit, but there are bad apples who literally show up with shorts or singlet, which is not advised on a place like this since it's cold up there! You're climbing up a mountain after all. (Heading to the top is their main objective, with stop overs.)

There were a group of tourists caught shaking a sakura tree during cherry blossom season causing outrage, they're basically damaging the tree as the leaves were falling prematurely. The intended way the leaves are meant to fall is when they've matured, since the trees are considered part of public property, Japan deemed that as an act of vandalism and destruction of property.
Plus the trees are sacred to the Japanese (its even part of their cultural identity), as they believe it to represent a symbolism of life and death, those who tamper or mess with it are met with misfortune. Also, in the Daikoku Parking Area (in Yokohama) where it's a hangout for car enthusiasts, but the issue is that tourists trespass on the premises, such as climbing the fence.
December 2023: In Tokyo, tourists where holding up incoming traffic on a pedestrian crossing, despite cops being present, most of them want a selfie with the Tokyo Tower but holding up traffic with vehicles is just bad, as the security guards / police are telling people to just cross, to keep the flow, not stall incoming cars & traffic (in a busy city - mind you), but tourists were just loitering there (or walking on the road meant for cars) until they were scolded for jaywalking.
Earlier this year, there was an American livestreamer who was fined ¥200000 (1,174 €) for blasting his music way TOO LOUD, as it was disturbing the peace inside a restaurant somewhere in Osaka, it shows that Western streamers (who act like this) have ZERO respect for the customs upon their visit, ruining the reputation of foreigners in Japan, which is already causing some Japanese people to hate them.
There was a female tourist who literally by passed the fence / yellow line (like the one you stand behind upon waiting for a incoming train) went on the tracks just to take a selfie with her boyfriend! (Disregarding that she's at the station in Kyoto were other commuters are present, a train is going to show up eventually.) Stupid and dangerous, it's like as if she wants to be hit by an incoming train.
In hindsight:

Have there been cases within Italy, where tourists actually sustained injuries all because of their recklessness and disregard for the rules at tourist attractions near riskier areas (i.e. a Cliff)?
How often does public transport (the same ones locals use) become overcrowded due to tourists taking most of the available seats on both buses and trains?
When it comes to climbing the Italian Alps, how many tourists literally show up ill-equipped such as wearing sandals, singlet or shorts or lacking proper gear for the journey?
Are there times when tourists continue to violate the country's rules and social etiquette to the point that locals start to complain about their bad behavior? (or received news coverage?)
How common is it for tourists visiting Italy to end up just leaving their trash on the floor even though there are bins available at public places?
Are there tourists who disregard social etiquette at cultural events deemed important to Italian culture that angers locals?
How many "copycat itinerary" posts on social media (i.e. TikTok) from Tourists do you notice depicting ONE spot in Italy where the thumbnails are basically the same?

Sorry for how long this is, tl;dr at the bottom. As the title says, my wife’s sister made a pass at me at a recent family gathering and I have no idea what to do. For context, I think my wife “Jenna” is absolutely gorgeous but she has some really negative body image issues. This is in large part because of her sister “Mary” who is very conventionally attractive, as opposed to Jenna’s more unconventional but (imo) striking beauty.
Mary was a successful model until a couple years ago and now works in the fashion industry. In our early days of dating when I would tell Jenna she’s beautiful, she would always say “just wait until you see my sister”. When I did finally meet her family, she would randomly press me for weeks to talk about her sister, whether I thought she was more attractive than her, etc. I always told her the truth, that I think Mary is attractive in a boring way, and that I think my wife is much more beautiful and interesting to look at. She wouldn’t let it go until I confronted her about how uncomfortable it made me and asked her what was going on.
This is when she told me that she always had a chip on her shoulder about her looks because of being compared with her sister growing up. They fell into the classic “smart one/pretty one” dynamic their whole lives. She also said Mary had a habit of being flirty with all of her exes, and warned me that it would happen to me eventually. She then started sobbing and begging me to not cheat on her with her sister, to which I forcefully said I would never cheat on her with anyone, let alone her sister. I’ve been crazy about my wife since day 1 and there’s literally no woman on earth who could come close to her.
I honestly didn’t believe her about the flirting at first, I assumed it was just an extension of her insecurity, but I was wrong. Whenever we get together with my wife’s family, Mary always finds ways to touch me and make little innuendos/comments about me or my body. It’s super uncomfortable for everyone, especially my wife, and I’ve called her out on it before. She’ll cool it for a while but eventually start doing it again. It’s been six years of this, and every time it happens my wife is upset for days and I have to do a lot of reassuring.
Onto the current problem. A few days ago we were at my MIL’s birthday party, and Mary asked me to help her grab some things from the garage. As soon as we walked into the garage, she turned and pressed me up against the door with her whole body and started trying to kiss me. I immediately pushed her off and asked her what the fuck she was doing. She started giggling and saying she was just “doing what we both have been thinking” and kept insisting “you know you want to”.
I told her she was out of her mind and ran out of there. I went straight to my wife and told her we were leaving. The whole ride home she was asking me what was wrong, I wasn’t sure whether to tell her because I knew how much it was going to hurt but I also thought Mary would probably try to spin it as me making a move on her so I knew I had to just say it. I told her everything and she cried the whole way home.
For the last several days Mary has been calling and texting my wife doing exactly what I thought she would do, even telling my wife that I said she (Mary) was “the hottest girl I’ve ever seen”, which I had to assure my wife a million times that I did not and would never say even though she believes my account of the situation.
She’s been a complete wreck the last several days, she’s hardly eating, she pulls away from my touch when I try to hug her or just hold her hand, she says she feels “hideous” and “disgusting” and I don’t know what to do. This is the lowest I have ever seen her, and it hurts to see how much she’s hurting. I have no idea what to do to help her heal from this. Reddit, what should I do?
Tl;dr: My wife’s sister tried to kiss me, and this is triggering deep-set body image insecurities for my wife. How do I help her?

Update #1: January 19, 2023 (2 days later)
I got a few requests for updates so here it is. I first want to thank everyone so much for your advice. It was extremely helpful and gave me a lot to think about. I’m especially thankful for the folks that asked me how I was doing. I realized that I have literally never had a chance to check in with myself after these things happen, and I’ve actually been holding a lot of frustration and resentment about it all. I’ve been harassed for years and it has either been brushed off or it’s been eclipsed by the impact it has on my wife. I don’t blame her for it, but this has been a good lesson in me not burying my feelings for the sake of others, even for her.
I also want to clarify a couple of things that came up. Several people asked about how my wife’s family feels about all this, and I explained in a comment that her parents are toxic and treat Mary as the golden child, even though my wife is a freaking neuroscientist, amazingly talented musician, speaks three languages fluently and another two conversationally… my wife and her family are seriously the only people who don’t seem to understand how exceptional she is. I remember meeting one of my wife’s family friends and talking to them about her research, and they said, “oh wow, her parents just told us she works at a university.” Whereas my parents literally introduce her as “the family genius” to everyone. It makes me so fucking angry to think about how her asshole family has stolen her shine her whole life. She’s literally a Renaissance woman but all they care about is looks and money.
Some folks asked me why I would ever put myself in a situation alone with Mary given everything she’s done. I have no good answers for that other than I never thought she would actually try to do anything. That possibility just didn’t exist in my head. I realize now that I should’ve seen this would happen eventually, and that I should’ve been less concerned with keeping the peace and more concerned with shutting Mary’s shit down before it escalated to this point. Hindsight is 20/20.
Anyway, onto the update. The night I posted, I told my wife that if she wanted to try to repair her relationship with her sister I would respect that, but that I don’t feel comfortable being around her for the foreseeable future. I said Mary has obviously been deeply jealous of my wife her whole life because she is a hollow, ugly person whose entire value has an expiration date while my wife actually has substance. I said that I think her whole family is toxic and has done nothing but put her down her whole life, but that only she can decide whether she still wants them in her life.
I also told my wife that while I don’t blame her for her emotional reaction, her insecurity is something that she needs to work on for our relationship to be healthy. What Mary did was sexual assault and she’s been sexually harassing me for years, but I have consistently put aside my own feelings about this problem because of how it affects her, and that has prevented me from getting the support that I need, too. I told her that her reaction only serves to punish herself and me for her sister’s behavior, and there’s no reason to give her that kind of power. I also told her something that a commenter said that really resonated with me: the only people who have ever considered her second best are her and her family. Everyone else sees her for who she really is.
She was crying the whole time and agreed that she needed to go to therapy to work on her insecurity. We were able to find a therapist who specializes in body image/self-esteem issues to work with her individually, and we’re looking for a couples therapist too. My wife sent a message to her parents and sister that explained exactly what happened and told them she would reach out to them if she ever feels ready to repair their relationship. We blocked all of them everywhere but Mary has of course been spamming my family and our friends with nonsense, claiming I attacked her, I’m a drug addict, I abuse my wife, all kinds of bullshit that thankfully nobody believes.
My wife is still down in the dumps but I can see that things are getting a little better. She’s eating and sleeping more and she’s cuddling with me in the mornings again which is nice. Now I’m planning a surprise getaway for us this weekend. We’re going to one of our favorite places and I’m going to wine and dine her and try to make her feel like the goddamn queen she is.
I want to thank you all again for your help. You really helped me understand the severity of the problem and again, thanks for helping me connect with my own feelings about all this. Y’all are the best.
Tl;dr: Wife & I are going to therapy. We’re going no contact with her family for the foreseeable future. I’m going to woo the hell out of my wife this weekend.

Update #2: February 1, 2023 (2 weeks later)
So I guess my original posts got reposted onto TikTok and some other subs here on Reddit so I’ve been getting tons of messages asking for updates. It feels like things are mostly settled, and I’m really hoping this will be my final update.
First I want to say that I’ve gotten so many questions about who Mary is, and I’m just not going to say. Suffice it to say that she’s never been household name famous, but she made a living solely on modeling for about a decade from what I understand, so she must have been popular enough that fashion people might know her. I really don’t know how that whole world works. But imo it doesn’t matter how many names you drop, you’re not famous if you don’t have a Wikipedia page.
Also got lots of comments that (mostly) jokingly called me a simp, and I can’t argue with that. I totally am a simp for my wife. She’s the coolest. I hope you all find a love that makes you feel this way!
Okay, I think that’s it. Here is the actual update.
My wife loved the getaway weekend, we had a blast and by the end of it she said she felt like herself again. For a few days after we got back things were really quiet, so we were hopeful that Mary had finally given up, but I felt uneasy about it all. Many of you warned me that Mary would try to interfere with my work and while I initially dismissed it, I figured I would reach out to my boss just in case. I’ve been working at the same company for almost 10 years and she’s heard me vent about Mary before so I didn’t have to explain too much. My boss just reassured me that she knows my real character and would let me know if Mary tried anything.
As you predicted, Mary did try to contact my boss a couple of days later, and the following is a recounting of what my boss told me. Apparently Mary said that I needed to be fired because I was a predator and claimed to have “proof” that I assaulted her. My boss said that was a very serious accusation to make and asked Mary to explain what proof she had. Mary claimed there was a camera that caught the whole incident, and my boss asked her to send the video. Then Mary got flustered and said the police had it, so my boss asked her to send over a copy of the police report. Then Mary said it had a lot of private information in it, so my boss asked her to redact the private information and send it over. Then Mary said she didn’t feel comfortable with that, and my boss told her that she could not take action against an employee based on word of mouth from a stranger. Then Mary shouted at her about victim blaming and hung up.
Unfortunately that was not the end of it. Last Wednesday, Mary somehow sent an email from my personal email account with a dick pic (not mine obviously) to the entire office. My best guess is that I must have left my email logged in on one of my in-laws’ devices, she’s definitely not smart enough to actually hack me. And I know this is completely beside the point, but of course she chose the weirdest-looking dick I’ve ever seen. I played team sports all my life, I’ve seen a lot of dicks, and this was something else. It’s honestly kind of funny to think about Mary Googling “gross penis” or something and sifting through hundreds of images to find juuuuuuust the right one. I had to apologize to everyone on staff and thankfully folks were surprisingly understanding. It’s actually been kind of a nice bonding experience with my coworkers, I honestly didn’t consider myself to be super well-liked in the office but it feels like everyone has been going out of their way to be kind to me and it means a lot.
Anyway, at this point it was clear we had to escalate things legally. I really wanted to avoid it but she forced my hand. My wife and I have a lawyer friend who helped us draft a cease and desist letter outlining her continued harassment and the material and emotional damage this is causing us. My wife then sent a message to Mary and my in-laws with a copy of the letter and made it very clear that we would pursue criminal and/or civil proceedings if her harassment continued. My wife’s mom then called her crying and begged her to “just let it go” and “leave Mary alone”. My wife calmly explained that Mary is the only person responsible for this whole situation, and that their parents have always enabled her awful behavior. She also said something she later regretted but I think was pretty badass: “Mary is going to stick you two in a nursing home and steal your money the minute she has the chance, and you deserve it.” After the way her mom reacted, my wife is firmly settled on cutting off her family completely.
This happened on Friday, and on Sunday Mary’s best frenemy “Anne” sent my brother a message on Facebook to say Mary is going to leave us alone and to please not sue her. I told my brother not to respond, then just sat and enjoyed the idea that Mary was out there somewhere freaking out about the potential of having to actually face the consequences of her actions. It must be such a strange feeling for her.
Since then, we haven’t heard a peep from the grapevine. It feels like things are finally starting to go back to normal. My wife is starting therapy next week and we’ll be starting couples therapy in a month or two; she wants to do some work on herself first. She’s also taking a short leave from work to rest and recharge. I’m so proud of her for standing up for herself with her family and finally putting her mental health and wellbeing first.

Tl;dr: Mary tried to get me fired so we sent her a cease and desist. Now Mary’s running scared, she and my in-laws are out of our lives, and we’re doing much better without them. My wife is prioritizing her wellness and I am one proud simp.

Update #3: August 25, 2023 (6.5 months later)
I forgot about this account completely until today and logged in to see so many comments and messages asking for an update. It’s honestly touching to see how many people care about this situation and want the best for me and my wife.
This will be a brief update, I don’t want to make this a regular thing and the original situation has resolved enough that I am hopeful this’ll be the end of the saga.
Mary and my in laws have pretty much left us alone. My MIL still tries to contact my wife every now and then but she’s made it clear to her family that if the first words out of their mouths aren’t “I’m sorry,” she isn’t interested in a conversation.
As you can see, the past six months have made my wife a BADASS. She has done some amazing work in therapy and her confidence is growing all the time. It’s not just with her family - she’s more comfortable asserting herself at work, with strangers, with friends, etc. She’s even stopped putting up with some of my shit! To be fair that “shit” is stuff like my leaving my socks everywhere around the house, but I’m seriously proud of her for telling me to cut it out. I’m becoming a more responsible and supportive partner because she’s able to communicate her needs and expectations without feeling guilty about it. And I’m able to communicate things to her without intense emotions fully eclipsing the conversation. I didn’t mention this in my earlier posts, but my wife does struggle with rejection sensitivity even outside of her family. Often if I brought up something that I felt needed to change, her emotional reaction to feeling like she did something “wrong” would be really intense and instead of dealing with the problem, it would become about regulating her emotions. Now my wife has really good coping tools that allow her to talk about the problem without thinking she is the problem.
And the biggest update… she’s pregnant! We have a baby girl due in February. I am shitting my pants with excitement. We are going to love her so much and teach her that she is more than her beauty. She’s going to have happy parents who love each other and work through issues as a team. The toxic cycle will be broken. Jenna’s family doesn’t know and she’s not sure if/when she’ll tell them, but if she does there are going to be strong boundaries in place for how they can be a part of our daughter’s life. And it’ll start with family therapy. For now, she has one set of grandparents that will go to the end of the earth for her, and that’s more than enough. My family has been absolutely incredible in their support and their so excited for us. Things are looking better than they ever have.

Hello everyone, I have come here for advice before and you were all incredibly helpful, and I could really use some support again.
You can check my post history for the full story, but tl;dr: last year my wife (“Jenna”) and I had to make the decision to go no-contact with her whole family. Her sister (“Mary”, 30F) sexually assaulted me, in-laws defended her, and after some legal wrangling they finally left us alone. The situation wrecked my wife’s self-esteem and tested our relationship, but we made it through.
Jenna and I had our first daughter in February. She’s amazing and we’re doing great. We ended up moving away from Jenna’s home state (NY) to mine (MA) to be closer to my family, and they’ve been incredibly helpful with the baby. We have not seen Jenna’s family since cutting contact and blocking them everywhere, and we didn’t tell them about the baby.
Yesterday we received a letter in the mail from my MIL and FIL. No idea how they got our address. Apparently my FIL has been diagnosed with late-stage cancer and is being told he could be dead in weeks. In laws went on about how sorry they were for the way they handled the situation with Mary. They also apologized for the way they’ve treated my wife her whole life (again, check post history but basically Mary was the golden child and Jenna was an afterthought despite being super accomplished). They ended by saying they recently heard about the baby through the grapevine and want to meet their grandchild.
To me, the apology seemed genuine. They went into detail on what they did wrong, apologized and expressed remorse, and explained what they should have done differently. They said they hoped to earn our forgiveness with time and were willing to do family therapy to heal our relationship.
Jenna is not having it. She feels like it’s too little too late and doesn’t want to respond. She also suspects that they’re lying about FIL’s cancer and just want to pressure us into reconciliation so they can meet the baby. It seems ludicrous but I guess I wouldn’t put it past them.
I want to respect my wife’s feelings around this, but I’m worried that if the cancer is real, she may regret not taking this opportunity for reconciliation before he dies. I expressed this to her but she is adamant and I haven’t broached the topic since.
My instinct is to wait a few more days until the shock wears off to talk about it again. I just don’t know what the best way to approach it would be. I certainly don’t want to force my wife to do anything she doesn’t want to do, but I feel like she’s not thinking clearly about this right now. It also must be noted that our baby is still struggling with sleep and we’re both tired and emotional all the time, so I feel like this might be influencing how she feels about all this.
What should I do here? Should I try again or just let it be?
Tl;dr: In-laws are attempting to reconcile after claiming FIL was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Wife does not want to consider it but I am worried she will regret it later on.
Edit: People, stop being mean to me. I too am tired and emotional and my feelings are getting hurt. I am not forcing my wife to do anything. I brought it up one time. I know this is not about me. I don’t personally care either way, I just want to support my wife. I intend to tell her I am here to listen/talk about it if she wants to but I fully support her decisions around this. She has a great therapist she trusts and I’ll be here to support her however I can.

OOP: To be clear, I will absolutely respect whatever decision she makes. I just feel like the news is so fresh and we’re in such an emotionally complex place as it is that she may not be thinking clearly about it. A similar situation happened to a friend of mine and he regretted it for years, actually turned to alcohol pretty hard for a while after. My wife has worked really hard to improve her mental health and I worry about how the regret might set her back. Although I suppose if her family is actually lying/manipulating us that would set her back too. I just don’t know. Would it be terrible to bring it up again in a few days just to see if she feels differently?
Edit: I’ve also thought about asking my parents to take the baby for a couple of days so we can get away and recharge. Maybe just getting my wife in a better headspace would allow her to think things through more carefully/less reactively

I noticed the engagement has seemed to be on the decline recently and just wanted to share a bunch of stuff I’ve been working on and that I’ve collected the last couple days. A lot is only loosely related to the Drake/Kendrick stuff, but if you’re bored or find something interesting I’d love to hear some of your thoughts or opinions. If you find any of the info valuable and you’d like to add on that’s just a bonus. I really just want to spark some conversations as per usual. I’m open to valid criticism and if any of my info can be proven false let me know. Also feel free to add any supporting evidence or connections you have made, they are always appreciated!
Recently I started digging and trying to determine what criticism against Kendrick may be valid or not. Starting with a popular one, I personally think the Kodak Black features on Mr Morale were an attempt and possibly a successful one by Kendrick to become a mentor for Kodak. Despite the horrific crimes he committed, I think Kendrick and many other rappers see the potential for Kodak to shed all of the assumptions made about him up to this point and to become one of the biggest voices of his generation. He’s still in my opinion one of if not the most talented Gen Z rappers in the game. Even though what he did should never be forgotten or forgiven, one thing that’s important to keep in mind was Kodak’s upbringing, the environment he grew up in, and his age at the time of his most serious allegations.
In my opinion, Kodak is one the few examples where it’s important to be able to separate the art from the artist and where external factors should even be taken into consideration when deciding the punishment for any crime that’s sexual in nature. As most people know the human brain usually doesn’t stop developing until you’re at least 25, especially the section dedicated to impulse control and decision making. In my opinion, until someone is close to or past that age their brain isn’t fully developed and it’s important to take special consideration when they’re facing the legal system. This is especially true for minors or adults with severe mental handicaps, regardless of the type of crimes they’ve been accused of.
I’m not saying that anyone shouldn’t face severe consequences if found guilty. I just think preventing recidivism should be the primary goal when considering examples like Kodak or any other young black men. Considering all this, I do think external factors should have at least been taken into account if they weren’t already when deciding the length of his sentence. The same thing applies when examining Kodak’s entire life story, including his contributions to Mr Morale. This album is among many things, a testament to how someone can never grow out of all their childhood trauma. Also how so many people who experience prolonged stress or trauma at a young age often end up becoming products of the unhealthy experiences they’ve had throughout their lives.
Even those who dedicate themselves entirely to self-improvement often find many reactive behaviors are hard to deprogram and often can be triggered much later in life no matter how much success they achieve. What most people can control is whether or not they decide to continue this cycle of generational trauma or create a better life for them, their children, and the future leaders in their communities. Something Kendrick clearly resents Drake for is the way he blatantly role plays being a gangster and being “for the culture,” despite his comfy upbringing and glaring evidence stating otherwise. Sometimes it seems like he thinks GTA is the same as real life. Although it’s possible, people who commit all their crimes from the safety of their homes behind a screen typically aren’t given the same respect as those running the streets.
Even though Kodak is from the opposite side of the country and a totally different generation, the way I see it is Kendrick isn’t ignorant, and he wouldn’t have taken the risk of featuring him if it didn’t have a bigger purpose. Remember all the shit he got especially during and after the beef? Clearly there were other motivations, especially considering the fact he rarely features other rappers on his albums. It may even be another example of him baiting Drake with material for disses. Most people who can see these types of things objectively realize they are nuanced and multifaceted issues. It’s funny that him and his fans are still seeming to have difficulty making these realizations themselves.
Judging by some of vivid descriptions Kendrick has provided fans throughout the years of growing up in Compton; it isn’t hard to believe he may have seen some of his younger self in Kodak. I think he chose him because he at least saw some potential most people don’t and possibly to make a statement about how much worse Drake is. It seems like Drake depicts this hardened, street tough, mafioso character who is a product of the streets so people are more forgiving of his indiscretions.
While both Drake and Kodak were old enough to know better when these allegations or offenses occurred, the difference is, Drake has all the money in the world and grew up with a silver spoon. He easily could have pursued acting or even producing movies and TV shows if his acting talent didn’t cut it. I’ll admit I’ve never seen an episode of Degrassi or any other examples of him trying to seriously act, so if he’s brutal at it forgive me. He also could have pursued a variety of businesses and still built the empire he has today. He could have gone the R&B route or if he really was that passionate about rapping he could have kept it fucking real and stayed true to himself. He used to be pretty goofy and straight edge, but as soon as he started acting hard and trying to get people to take him seriously he seemed to start rubbing the majority of the rap game the wrong way.
On the other hand as Kodak has said, he would most likely be selling drugs right now if he didn’t make it in music. I think he’s also very aware there was a good chance he wouldn’t survived this long if he had gone down that road. You can’t fake the type of determination when your life literally depends on whether or not you make it in the game. That’s why many up and coming and even the most established rappers will do anything to get a sliver of the spotlight.
Another reason Drake seems to be almost universally hated in the rap game is because he takes up so much of the spotlight and seems willing to do anything to maintain it. Obviously we don’t know all the details just quite yet, but it doesn’t help that Drake and many other people in the industry have allegedly done things that pale in comparison to any of the crimes committed by Kodak and lot of them still haven’t been held accountable. Even in the rare case they are, they often show no remorse for their actions. I’m looking at you R. Kelly! The worst for me though is when they point fingers at others while they’re doing the same thing or something even worse.The hypocrisy is really what kills me.
It’s also pretty likely Kendrick wanted to use his clout in the industry to help get Kodak’s career back on track and hopefully expedite the process of him overcoming his past. Despite a very long campaign by the media where they were seemingly trying to turn the public against him, it appears like he might just stand a chance. Coincidentally or not, the media attention really seemed to pick up steam after he publicly supported Trump. One thing to keep in mind is the main contributing factor that led to Kodak’s support was Trump commuting his prison sentence.
While it’s still dumb as fuck to say in public, can you really blame the guy? He doesn’t seem very versed in politics, although I try to never judge a book by it’s cover. Who knows he might like his financial policies. He could also be getting paid to say it. I’m guessing the latter is probably more likely. On the other hand I have no problem believing people like DJ Akademiks would suck Trump off if he had the chance.
Admittedly Kodak has made a lot of missteps even after he entered into adulthood and after the Kendrick feature. On the other hand none of them have been close to as severe as the crimes he committed as an adolescent. In the last couple years, most of his struggles have been drug and gun related and a lot were tied to his previous convictions and parole violations. He does seem to be making a little forward process recently, which is nice to see (minus the rock throwing).
I think Kodak can at least go California sober, maybe with some psychedelics, MDMA, and ketamine thrown in there if he wants to party or even for therapeutic reasons. If he can also maintain a steady enough cash flow to pay for a large security detail, some goons, and some bribes, and a solid legal team he could probably avoid a lot of trouble. These things could really help him to fully take advantage of his talent and reach his full potential. (I go into a lot more detail about Kodak’s substance issues, mental health, and possible solutions in part two which I’ll post when I’m done editing.
At this point Kodak’s pretty much just getting way too fucked up, saying and doing a lot of off the cuff shit which is nothing new, and constantly getting pulled over with drugs or guns in the vehicle even if they don’t belong to him. While it doesn’t make them ok, all of these infractions seem to be pretty common amongst a lot of rappers young and old. It’s definitely been a pattern for Kodak ever since his career started taking off a decade ago. Obviously these crimes are often related to obtaining street cred and other superficial reasons, but it doesn’t mean there aren’t other major contributing factors. Most would probably agree at least some of these contributing factors are the results of systemic racism.
As far as I’ve seen, very few people get hounded and targeted by the media like Kodak has his entire career. Considering the fact he’s constantly being targeted by his rivals as well, and the fact he got shot not too long ago, I can understand why he stays high and strapped constantly. The only rappers who arguably may have had it worse were SixNine, King Von, and maybe Xxxtentacion, before the latter two were killed.
Speaking of rappers who died too soon, I always think it’s interesting to look at the events leading up to their deaths. It seems to be an increasingly common trend the last couple years. Some more recent examples include Juice Wrld, Lil Peep, Mac Miller, Pop Smoke, Young Dolph, PnB Rock, Takeoff, and Drakeo the Ruler. I know there are a lot more that I’m missing as well. For a while it seemed like every rapper I started fucking with would die not much later. I thought I was cursed. The number who have been incarcerated is quite high as well including YNW Melly, Bobby Schmurda, 03 Greedo, Meek Mill, TayK, and YB.
What people often neglect to acknowledge is the similarities in a lot of their ages, careers, upbringings, surroundings, and circumstances at the time when all of these controversies occurred. It’s also interesting to look at their labels and who their “rivals” were in the industry. Again it doesn’t mean they should be given any lenience if they did commit any serious crimes; I honestly still can’t believe some of them got off so easily even when taking all these factors into consideration. I have a theory that most of the controversies these young rappers are involved in are often connected to the constant public scrutiny aimed at them from such a young age. There is also the never ending legal battles, the time they spend in prison, and the constant attempts on their lives/careers.
Obviously most people just blame the lyrics in rap music, gang ties, drug addiction, or violent video games, simple problems with simple solutions. Most people want the easy fix and pretty much everyone tries to deflect the blame from themselves. The truth is everyone plays a part in systemic racism, some are the victims, some are the perpetrators, and sometimes the line can be difficult to distinguish between the two. Since white people can’t be victims of systemic racism, they often fight to prove they’re not the perpetrators. Still the truth is, no matter how hard they try, they’re still indirectly part of the problem. As long as they accept and are willing to admit to that fact, most people aren’t going to hold it over them.
When it gets interesting is how the black and white communities treat light skinned and biracial people vs those with dark skin. Another is how Hispanic people are treated when they grow up in black neighborhoods or try to emanate the culture and again how skin tone can make a difference. Does anyone remember the J Lo song where she drops multiple N bombs? It was pretty common when I was growing up for my Hispanic friends to say it with no thought or repercussions. My personal favorite examples of the line being blurred are in the cases of Rachel Dolezal and Jussie Smollett. Whenever I’m reminded of them I can’t help but laugh at the pure absurdity. Again the whole issue of systemic racism is extremely complicated and divisive. At the end of the day no solution is going to please everybody.
The influence of music, specifically rap, is usually a direct product of all these things and not the source. A lot of people who experience what I’m describing or have witnessed it throughout their lives are well aware it’s extremely difficult to fix and there is no “one size fits all” solution. It’s a slow process and while things have improved steadily the past few decades, there is still a long way to go and a lot that needs to be addressed and fixed.
Either way the music about harming or killing others, the drug game, exploiting women, or any other shitty behavior, is often targeted at guys like me, Akademiks, or even Drake. People who didn’t grow up around these types of things and haven’t been traumatized by them from a young age. A lot of the rappers know this and a good amount will do the same thing as Drake and lie or exaggerate their back stories if they really didn’t grow up like that. Most listeners are young, bored, teens or twenty-somethings and could really care less whether it’s the truth as long as it gets the ladies wet when they drive around the ‘burbs with their 8,000 dollar sound systems blasting it and their windows down.
These types of lies and exaggerations can be really dangerous when they involve people who have a lot of influence and money. There’s nothing wrong with listening and enjoying any genre or type of music. The problem is when people start acting out their favorite songs or emanating their favorite entertainers or influencers. It seems more common than not that these people choose the bad traits to adopt into their personalities rather than the good ones. This can be especially toxic when people try to convince others they have to act or behave a certain way to be a rapper or even listen to certain artists or varieties or rap. Rarely do these people stop trying, usually they’d rather do some dumb shit to prove their worthiness.
You often hear about these square, suburban kids who listen to way too much trap and drill music or discover scam rap and end up finding themselves in a lot of trouble. Usually these are the same guys who end up snitching or causing problems for the ones who are really about that life. A good example of people clearly sticking their noses where they don’t belong are SixNine and Akademicz. It’s funny how they’ve always supported each other, even through the snitching and SA allegations. I still want to know what happened to the 14 year old in the tape with Daniel and his homie. Obviously no personal info, but I’ve heard rumors that she disappeared and no one knows what happened.
Although Kodak is 26 now and still has a long way to go, I’m confident he can get it together in the next 5 years, and hopefully he’ll be able to maintain some level of peace and normalcy. One thing I’m very concerned about though is it seems like a lot of the industry, his opps, and the media have all teamed up to make him the next member of the 27 Club. If he can survive to 28, and get clean before 35, he should be able to adapt and learn how to handle the pressure of superstardom.
I truly hope he is able to make it through this period in his life and continue to lead the Florida Soundcloud rap movement, which fell heavily on him after X was murdered. I would hate to see him become just another of the many talented artists in the industry who died much too soon or ended up wasting a good chunk in prison. While I love Ski Mask and he’s an awesome rappeperformer, his output can not come close to reaching Kodak’s level. Even Drake was obsessed with his album Dying to Live, which I agree is fantastic. I think a lot of people overlook Kodak intentionally or not because many don’t see him as a serious artist or can’t get past his history.
Something that has been working in his favor recently is the fact he has been doing a lot of good for his community for many years and has seemed to have taken an interest in philanthropy. Even though it’s a common rapper PR move and it’s often to help their public image more than the community they’re serving, but at least he’s showing some remorse. In my opinion all artists who truly started at the bottom should at least try to give back to the community they harmed with their actions even if their image is squeaky clean. They just need to be careful about living in the same neighborhood once they get famous like Nipsey and Dolph. Chief Keef definitely had it right by moving to LA once it got too dangerous in Chicago.
Interestingly Kodak doesn’t seem to fuck with Drake so much recently, and he may also be on the rocks with DJ AK. Considering the latter has been accused of having his hand in a lot of Florida’s recent rap beefs, deaths, arrests, and other controversies, and has also been accused of snitching, being a confidential informant, a repeated s. offender, and a r. apologist, it’s probably not a bad move on his part. It’s also no surprise most of the real ones in the game see right through his facade.
Most people in the industry know to avoid politics in general and you definitely should avoid publicly supporting Trump or any other politicians considered right-leaning. Kodak, Wayne, and Ye have all gotten massive amounts of shit for it, but if anyone has a solid excuse it’s the former two and possibly A$ap Rocky. I guess because Ye has presidential aspirations and considering his history of mania and possible psychosis he might deserve a little less shit. At least it isn’t as bad as supporting Hitler. Still anyone who hasn’t had a prison sentence commuted by the guy, and even those who have, should probably keep their political opinions to themselves (for example Cardi B and Lil Pump).
I also think there is a good possibility that their public support may have been a motivating factor in their release in the first place considering. Does anyone else find it odd that commuting Kodak’s sentence was one of the last things he did before running for re-election. The fact that AK has seemed to get away with his very public support for Trump and no one really seems to notice or care, (even though they really shouldn’t), just makes me more suspicious he’s working with the Fed’s or their may be some political ties or motivations behind him getting away with all SA’s, setups, and snitching through the years. Obviously it’s more likely no one cares about him enough to even give him any of their energy. Considering everything else though I think there is a definite push by the republican part to win over more voters of color.
Interestingly AK is still marked as a democrat on his voter records. This makes me wonder if his support for Trump could be bullshit and maybe he’s just trying to bait or confuse young rappers into agreeing with his political views so he can take it out of context and hurt their image. Since the majority of the game seems to lean in the other direction with their own political views it kind of makes sense. I could go much deeper, but I’m gonna practice what I preach, leave the politics alone, and get back to Kodak and eventually Kendrick.
There is a long history of Drake seeming to be obsessed with certain up and coming rappers. He especially seems to have taken interest in Kodak, going as far as calling him the best rapper of his generation. Kodak has accused many others of snitching on him in the past. It’s not unlikely one of those people he was referring to were Drake or Akademik’s following Drake’s order. This could explain why there seems to be some animosity there, despite all the love-bombing and dick riding.

I believe that Drake possibly tried to exasperate Kodak’s addiction issues by sending him 600,000 in crypto for no reason. I also worry that Kodak may have gotten wrapped up in the current drama with Drake, Kendrick, Ye, AK, Cole, and possibly Diddy and other big industry hitters. Obviously it’s very likely this could paint an even larger target on his back. Based on all my knowledge of the situation I believe it’s reasonable to assume team Drake/Akademiks/UMG may be partially responsible for some of Kodak’s recent issues. This could also help explain the media’s obsessive coverage of Kodak and his every mistake. Even taking his history into account, it seems pretty excessive for his level of fame and influence. I hope he is able to beat the odds even though they seem to be stacked against him. Hopefully if my theory about Kendrick’s mentorship has some weight, it will help him take the final steps needed to get his shit together and protect his safety and career.

Another example of Kendrick going against the industry is when he formed his current label, pgLang which he splits 50/50 with Dave Free. He started the label in 2022, and uses an independent online distributor to release his music ever since. I imagine at some point he’ll probably try to buy Dave out if he hasn’t already. Another example of a rapper who was caught lying about their ties to the industry was Young Dolph. He’s still one of my favorite rappers of all time, and I respected his honesty when he publicly admitted to it. Most of his real fans took his side, but there is always the chance he only did it because someone threatened to blow up his spot or was messing with his money. To his credit, he still went on to turn down a 22 million dollar record deal so he could keep his masters and ownership of his label. Sadly he was killed not long after this after multiple assassination attempts linked to Yo Gotti, or someone associated with him. no surprise his own label has been doing great since Dolph was killed. Dolph’s label, Paper Route Empire, was always extremely competitive with Yo Gotti’s. The different is one was independent and one was signed under a bigger label. Guess which one was which. Young Dolph is just one of many incredibly talented artists who died senselessly and much too soon. Many of the other artists also seemed to also have a history of speaking out against the industry. One of my favorite Dolph songs is actually titled “Shittin’ on the Industry. For anyone who didn’t follow his career too closely, the song “Play Wit Yo’ Bitch” is what sparked the beef and still to this day is my favorite diss track of all time. His next album 100 Shots was almost entirely dedicated to him trolling Yo Gotti after a failed assassination attempt.
Dolph is a great example of what happens when artists don’t sign a deal, but are still able to break through and compete financially with artists on major labels. Sadly many who do sign a deal usually end up getting fucked and face similar consequences if they try to leave or make too much trouble for their label. Sometimes I wonder if Diddy is intentionally martyring himself, sort of like what Kanye did with his career. This may be a misguided attempt to try to make up for his past crimes. It could also be argued that it’s the best way someone could repent for such terrible sins. Recently it seems like Diddy may be trying to change the industry to make a better environment for future artists. He also seems to be trying to promote religious morals and values he previously disregarded. Although this another classic PR move. Both him and Ye have been very vocal about their religious beliefs lately, which is another thing that most celebrities typically avoid speaking about publicly. Who knows he may genuinely think this is necessary for him to stand a chance at escaping an eternity in the Christian version of hell. Sorry for another tangent, I’ll get back to Kendrick again. Here are some more allegations leveled by Drake and his fans along with some evidence that may point to whether they are true or not. One thing Kendrick does admit to in a few songs through multiple albums is his difficulty resisting temptation and his promiscuity. I think based on his track record of honesty and transparency, he probably has cheated on Whitney in the past. This is obviously scummy behavior and could explain the rumors that they were separated or having issues in their marriage.
Another one of the allegations made by Drake included Whitney having a kid with Dave Free unbeknownst to Kendrick. There definitely isn’t enough evidence to sufficiently draw any conclusions, but there are some possible connections that could be seen as contributing evidence. As i was told in the comments, Dave Free left TDE in 2019, then Kendrick after the release of his final album. Still this may have had to do with TDE signing under UMG. As far as I know he never denied the claims Drake made, but if I’m wrong I’ll update this part.
While their relationship still seems pretty good, a lot of times artists have to pretend to be friendly to their label owners or they risk having their careers or reputations damaged and possibly even worse. Kendrick seems to be very aware of this fact and I can see him playing dumb or knowing and pretending he doesn’t because he seems to always be very strategic and patient enough to play the long game. If there is any truth to these claims he may be waiting until he can get the full ownership of his label and rights to all his masters before putting Dave on blast too.

Throughout the years many stories have surfaced of label owners intentionally interfering in their artist’s relationship or personal lives. I love how Suge made fun of Diddy for dancing in all of his artists videos. I’ve also mentioned Al B. Sure and how Diddy stole his wife and raised his son and previously went into the whole alleged Kanye, Drake, Kim Kardashian love triangle and all the other rappers partners Drake pursued. If it turned out Drake is right and Kendrick really is raising Dave’s child, that could obviously really hurt Kendrick and his family. It could also severely damage his reputation in the industry. This may explain how Dave owns half the rights to Kendrick’s label, despite him appearing to have the desire to go fully independent. I might be wrong, but I can’t imagine Kendrick really needs Dave for anything.
While it seemed like they were very tight in the first picture I included from the beginning of 2022, the second photo is from another photo shoot at the end of 2022, and I could be wrong, but they both look a bit uncomfortable. Coincidentally the first picture was right before Kendrick officially left TDE and announced his second child publicly when he released Mr. Morale a few months with his wife and kids on the cover. While these all could be used as evidence to support the infidelity rumors, as I’ve said it also could have been the deal with UMG which was not long before Kendrick announced to the public he was leaving Top Dawg around the end of 2021. There is still a very good possibility there is no tension at all and they’re still friends and partners like most people seem to believe. Hi y’all. Been seeing some interesting viewpoints and explanations on the Connie III, and I thought I’d throw my hat into the ring! This is just my personal headcanon, so here goes.
First off, the name of the class. Constitution III is great and all, it recalls the glory and fame of probably the singular most famous class of starship in all of Trek. However, I myself am conflicted on the name. Bill Krause supplied the ship design to Picard Season 3, but it is known that the Connie III is a 25th century update of a 2290s era Attack/Interceptor cruiser he created in about 2015, the Shangri-La Class. I personally am a huge fan of the Shangri-La, it’s my personal favorite design in all of Trek (and it’s canon too, as seen with ship models in the Titan-A’s wardroom in PIC S3!) and the updated version looks really good. That being said, part of me believes that the class should have been called the Shangri-La II? Constitution III fits really well, since the Titan-A was designed for the same mission profile as the original and refit Connies, but I just kinda feel that the since the overall look and characteristics of the new class more closely mirror the Shangri-La, I kinda use both names interchangeably.
Next, trying to clear up the construction of the Titan-A. USS Titan, NCC-80102-A, is said to have shared components with the last ship to bear the name Titan, and there is some artwork floating around out there of NCC-80102 being salvaged directly beneath NCC-80102-A’s construction. Many people have taken this to be a direct refit of the older Luna Class ship, but I don’t entirely agree with that assumption. NCC-80102-A has been said to be a refit of an older ship named Titan, but it isn’t clarified exactly which Titan that is. There are confirmed to be two ships prior to NCC-80102-A, the Luna Class mentioned previously, but there is also NCC-1777, an original Shangri-La class. This ship has been shown in a few comics, and a model of it is located in the Titan-A’s wardroom. I personally believe that the easiest explanation for the “refit” that created NCC-80102-A is that while it used major internal components from its immediate Luna Class predecessor, it may have used the space frame or structural skeleton from the original Titan, NCC-1777. That would explain why the new ship looks much more like a Shangri-La than a Luna for it being a refit.

I was in geography today and we were looking at famous sports stars as a part of our population unit, and my Mf teacher pulled out a pic of Leah Thomas for great female athletes. Leah Thomas. For those who don’t know “she” is a trans athlete who failed at men’s swimming, and became a woman to absolutely destroy biological women in the sport. I put my hand up and said “Mr. Teacher, Leah Thomas is not a woman. She is a trans athlete and should not be allowed to compete with biological women, therefore taking away the point of women’s sports if men are just going to become women and beat the competition”
Nothing against trans people of course, I just really hate that some people are using this obvious mental illness that other people actually have to their advantage. It’s like cartman pretending to have a mental disability to win $1000 in the school Paralympics

Hi fam, I am creating a murder mystery for my friends and my art creator friend dropped out, my back-up is too busy. I'm hoping that reddit can help me find an artist that has some time for a quick turn-around 🙏 I need a few images - there would be four scenes, but I was hoping that for each scene there would be slightly different details on each picture - for example a sober person would have more detail in theirs than a character who was drunk at the time in the story.
I dont mind the style, if it is realistic or drawn.
Some details of the scene: It's a party held in a room of a castle (i have some sample images but i dont mind artistic licence). There are 10 characters in total, not all in each picture. Some characters are rich and very well dressed, some are 'famous actors' so are well dressed, and there are three that are less so, but still dressed for a party.
Rough description of the four scenes: 1. A selfie taken throughout the night. The owner of the photo is an asian woman and has two white women with her in the photo. There is a tea pot and tea cups on the table, but mostly evidence of alcohol being consumed. Accidentally captured in the background of the selfie: Left background - A couple near the exit, seemingly in a heated debate. Centre/back - Two men, one not wearing his jacket. (The jacket not being worn is the clue so it has to be there but as something most wouldnt notice unless looking for it). This one wouldn't have any edits.

A character face down with a sword in his back. This one would have slightly different details depending on some characters' special skills - for example most would see only a plain sword, but some characters with swordfighting experience would see a fancy type of sword, and the specific height/angle of the sword that shows them how tall the killer was.
My character after they were poisoned. It would have all the characters in it, standing around. This one might have very small but crucial differences like the exact positioning of characters, or the colour of my face, etc.
Slightly undecided, will either be a selfie of me before the poisoning, or a photo taken of the dancefloor because my character is about to post a passive aggressive social media post about one of the people on the dancefloor.

If anyone who has time could send me a message letting me know approx how much and how long it would take. I would need them in about a week (i know, im sorry). If you have a link or some examples so i can see your style that would also be helpful - I'm not too picky but it will help if i have an idea of your style so i can set up the written parts of the clues around the pics/style.

my cousin is a makeup artist and works behind set for tons of shoots, movies etc. she has so much tea on some of the biggest names in the world and has met so many famous people. idk if I should post her stuff on any drama celebrities pages please let me know if i should tho. also english isnt my first language plz excuse my grammatical mistakes loll
this was in 2023 when alix was getting her makeup did for a shoot. (i also have been stalking these snark pages ever since i herd this story a few days ago bc i now rlly dont like alix for this.) My cousin was on set where alix was supposed to come in, she does and doesnt bat an eye at anyone shes just all around bitchy af and doesnt speak at all. the shoot is done and ppl joked that they only needed her for the clout and how shes a socially awkward freak. this was for a drink brand btw.
second time they meet in late 2023 at an event i believe in Miami. my cousin sees alix at coachella and her friend in her group goes to say hi and ask for a pic but alix side eyes and walks away before they can talk. one may wonder how my cousin saw her multitudes of times but this was mostly in big cities and my cousin has met countless of celebrities before and she says alix is a real embodiment of a mean girl (along with some other a listers..) but thats pretty much it.
tldr; cousin met alix earle 2x during sets and 1x in coachella. Alix is a mean girl who smells bad and has no manners.
