Idk if it’s just a me thing, but it’s a bit annoying that even though PC should have everything in 2024, I still feel compelled to have every different console in order to enjoy the best experience for different games.
For example, a lot of PS5 games support the DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on PC, but not all of them do, such as all the Resident Evil games, Callisto Protocol, Observer System Redux, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, etc. To me I find these features very immersive and adds an extra layer to the game, and the fact that I can’t get those if I don’t have a PS5 is odd.
When I would rather play them on PC to get the best graphics and performance, instead I need to have a PS5 to get these features and also have less performance and fidelity than I could get on PC.
Not only that, but still exclusives that aren’t yet on PC, like Stellar Blade, Final Fantasy Rebirth, etc.
And lastly, even though MS has done a great job bringing all their games to PC, I feel compelled to keep the Series X because there are still some original Xbox and 360 games (Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Frontlines: Fuel of War, etc) that I still want to play but either aren’t on PC or don’t have controller support. And looking into it, the Xenia emulator isn’t perfect for some of these games so makes me want to keep the Xbox for this at least until I play those too.
Now I probably wouldn’t be so bothered by having to have every console, but having had to move between countries not long ago, taking my Xbox and PS5 with me in addition to Switch, etc was a pain and a lot of space I could have used for other stuff in my luggage. And with cloud streaming and portable consoles being popular now, I feel I could be a lot more versatile by letting go of the stationary consoles and having all my games on just PC and be way more portable from now on.
Anyway, I just wish as a gaming enthusiast I didn’t have to buy every console still to get every exclusive game and platform feature in 2024 and that we could move everything to PC now without losing out on something. I get that Nintendo at least won’t do this anytime soon, but at least their console is super portable and handheld compared to the giant heavy boxes that the PS5 and Series X are.
But I guess it’s the way of the world. For what I’ll do, I’m thinking to get through the rest of the games that I can only play with full features on console, then sell them and hope that there aren’t future exclusives or controller features that don’t come to PC so I can be more versatile going forward. But I assume there will still be some here and there.
I wish every game dev realized that PC should get everything too at this point. But alas, that’s still where we are in 2024 and I guess we’ll still need to own all the consoles if we want to have access to all features and games available. I feel like we are slowly moving towards more pc support overall, but it’s still not 100% there.
Anyways I’m wondering if anyone else here feels some of these pains or if it’s just my personal desires and situation that makes this harder for me.

Hi folks, I have been working with another person on a novel business idea. It’s a tech-enabled product, thus much of the key differentiation is in the tech UX.
While we are both technical (software engineering and product backgrounds) we lack other skills, especially UX design.
As much as we’re trying to develop the product further with just our skills, I think getting another person on board that fills that gap would make a tremendous difference.
My co-founder has a different stance and is more “protective”, afraid of bringing someone else on board, for many reason (stealing the business idea, choosing the wrong person, etc.)
So my question is: how did you go about finding other co-founders? How did you find them, and ultimately select them?

PROLOGUE.
I was your usual nerd. Introvert, awkward, daydreamer, deeply in technology when others was looking at football games or hit parade singers. I never stopped learning. Each time I change of job, I learn new domains of knowledge. I graduated in several of them, among which Social Psychology and Quality Management. One would say my speciality is “work processes” and my vocation is “middleman” between groups of people that depend of each other’s but don’t understand each other’s.
With time, I have accumulated many sayings to explain facts of life. One of them is “being MD doesn’t prevent you from getting cancer”.
TODAY.
I have been wake up by the scream of my 20+ partner. She was going to work and had lost the keys of the work place. Of course, “it was not her fault”. She didn’t put them in place because our children have tidy up our room (who is mostly hers) … at her request. And they did it because she asked her with authority but not much details. She made a big drama, complaining of what was tidied up, what was not, who did it, who didn’t did it, etcetera. essentially, her chores that she pushes on others. Another of my saying is “another day, another drama”. She then realized that she had no clue where the exams of her students are. Said exams, a stake of flying papers, was among other piles of flying papers that has been moved. As the drama rolled out, my analytic mind kicked in. I saw the process, guessed how it start and predicted how it will end. Unrelated data and informal knowledges assembled to present a pattern.
After years of being a nerd, the capacity to know what happen around me is reassuring and a pleasure in itself. The cost is that I can not tell about it because 1) angry people hates that someone show them their mistakes. 2) people in general don’t accept that their behaviour is predictable, moreover when they are not conscious of how, why and what they do. 3) never an omen has sooth a situation (see point 2); but often it considerably worsen it (see Oedipus Rex). I am like a Cassandra ant who studied entomology. So I have nowhere but Reddit to tell what I observed.
KEEP WITH ME.
We are a big family in a little house. There is two children by bedroom ; my partner and I have none. we sleep in couches so children have their places. Her office is in the livingroom; mine is the cold clamy windy attic. We have plan to thermally isolate the attic and make three more bedrooms. Everybody would have his/her personal place. But two days ago, my partner announced that her plan was to have the whole first floor for her (mainly) and me. It means that the children who share 2 rooms now would share a dormitory with even less privacy. Same for me. Nobody want this but her. Of course, she dropped that just before sending everybody to bed, so there has been no discussion.
Yesterday, she rushed to work while ordering children to tidy up the ground floor, that comprise the living room and her stuff. My children showed their dissatisfaction for her diktats by maliciously complying to her statements. It was not conscious in their mind. But seeing their anger and divestment, it is clear for me that their Rebel mind took the commands. She is now in difficulty for the double binds she imposed : “tidy up my stuffs” [but don’t touch my stuff] + “we all need our space” [but I will take yours]. she fucked up and found out; and she doesn't even grasp it.
I see this as a marvellous mechanic. I am a kid watching a lego Technics. I am the old laughting chinese sifu watching young Jackie Chan trying childish ploy. It has ever more salt because she became entitled since she has success in her counselling job : she doesn’t see what she creates in her family the kind of situations that she resolves at work. Why don’t I tell her ? See my three points above.
How it will resolve ? She already found her keys in her bag after 5 minutes. After she passed the door, it took me nearly a half minute to find the lost exams in a pile of papers that she explicitly asked not to check again (Yes, It was an easy clue). And now she will have to initiated by herself the convo about the layout of the attic that she prevented previously.

Okay so…
I went on vacation to Ireland with my brother last year. And had the most wildest experience of my life there.
Or should I say, we both had the most…wildest experience.
But More so me. And to Tell you the truth, I don’t think I’ll ever go back again after what happened.
As a matter of fact, no, I won’t go back.
So, it’s a Sunday night and it was pretty much our last day of vacationing.
My older brother Shane, wanted to go out… And I’m quoting him - “let’s get fuckin wasted tonight!”
So… We’re on vacation right? Why not? We had rented an Airbnb for the week, we had a rental car - we had a great week so far and we were having…
A proper vacation.
He was already dressed up and ready to go. I wanted to take a quick shower and shave so I told him to head out and I’d call him when I was ready for him to pick me up.
He says cool. He leaves, and I jump in the shower. He’s the one that knows the hot spots in Ireland better than I do. I mean, this was my first time ever coming here. So…
I take a shower, shave, and I get dressed. As I’m about to call my brother, the front door to our Airbnb opens up.
And Its my brother with two bad ass Irish women! They both jump on the couch and they’re laughing their asses off and my brother is just standing there looking at me with a sly grin on his face.
He looks over at the ladies and says - “Give me a minute please” walks over to me, puts his arm over my shoulder and walks me to the bathroom. He then whips out a bag of mushrooms and smiles. Ya know… The psychedelic kind.
I look down at the bag and I shake my head.
He says to me - “come on bro. We got two hotties out there who are trippin and they want to party. Don’t be a flake. This is our last night. Let’s make it special.”
I don’t like disappointing my brother but I was kind of hesitant.
I opened the bathroom door and take a look at these gorgeous women who were both sitting upright now and both looking at me as I opened the door. Both smiling. I smiled back. Closed the door… I looked at my brother and said - “Alright dood fuck it! Let’s do it!”
He gives me a huge hug, kisses me on the forehead, pours me a handful of shrooms and does the same for himself.
We both looked at each other to see who would go first. He counted to three and down the hatch they went. But they were the most unpleasant tasting mushrooms I’ve ever eaten in my life. They were disgusting.
I ran to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of juice because I was having a hard time chewing these nasty things.
But my brother Shane? No, he’s a pro. You give that guy a barrel of hay and he’ll eat it faster than a horse. The guy can eat anything.
40 minutes go by and I’m still straight as a pin. However, my brother on the other hand? He’s already trippin.
I think he had already taken some beforehand.
But in the next 10 minutes… These shrooms hit me like a ton of bricks! It was like this intense wave of cool and hot went completely through my body.
And I’ve taken mushrooms quite a few times but have never felt anything like this before. It was so sudden!
And I feel fantastic!
The next hour went by so fast because we were having so much fun! And these Irish girls? Man… I had the sexiest one! A beautiful Redhead by the name of Katrina.
She was kind of short though. About 5’1” maybe? But good things come in small packages, right? Well, not really. And you’ll know why soon enough.
I don’t recall anything else that happened for the rest of the night after my brother left with the other girl. And before I continue with the rest of the story. My brother’s name is really not Shane. And the redhead girl I was with is not named Katrina.
You see I had to make up these names to protect me and my brother. Because what happened during the rest of the night? I don’t remember. But also, I’ll never forget either.

I do remember my brother leaving with… Let's just call her Gloria, Katrina’s friend? And me and Katrina, the redhead, stood behind. I do remember us making out in the bathroom together, but…Everything else after that? There’s nothing there. Nothing. I don’t recall anything from that point forward no matter how badly I try to remember.
This is what my brother told me he witnessed as he arrived back at the Airbnb five hours later with Gloria.

We arrive back at the Airbnb and I see Alex outside in the front of the house wearing only socks and he’s running around on top of the grass like an animal yanking out handfuls of grass from underneath him.
I look at Gloria and we’re both baffled at what we just saw.
First thing I said was - “Oh yeah! This dood is off his rocker right about now - as I parked the car.
We both hop out of the car and walk up to the front door. I slide the key into the door, it unlocks, but there’s a chair behind the door and it’s tipped over blocking the entry way and only leaving enough space for a crack. We both awkwardly look at one another and as I’m about to call out for my brother, I hear someone sprinting towards the door and bang!
The fuckin idiot shuts the door on us.
I then knock on the door softly because It’s almost 1 in the morning as I don’t want to make too much noise. God only knows what this kid has been doing since me and Gloria left.
After I knock on the door a few times, I hear the chair getting pushed to the side and my brother slightly opens the door. I take a peek inside, and his nose is broken, lips are bubbled up and his left eye is completely shut, black and blue and swollen.
He then drops to his knees, and begins crying but no sound is coming out of him! You know… Like when you get smacked by your parents when you’re a kid and it shocks the soul of you? Yeah, that kind of cry.
I don’t react to what he’s doing to not scare the shit out of Gloria, because she’s right beside me. So I push the door open and tell Gloria to hang on a second and shut the door and lock it.
I pick his busted ass up and sit him on the couch. I look around the house and it’s in complete shambles. Our clothes are everywhere, there’s food all over the fuckin walls. It was chaotic. And my brother is now sitting up breathing frantically.
I ask him - “what in the fuck happened?”
He looks at me. Face looking like he got into a boxing match with Rocky Marciano and whispers to me.
“Dood… There’s a leprechaun in the bathroom.”
“A fuckin what now?” - I said with the most bewildered look on my face. I mean I must have… I wish I would have taken a picture of my face at that very moment. I should have taken pictures of everything so this idiot could see the havoc he wreaked on that night.
My imbecile brother continues - “I’m telling you. There’s a fuckin leprechaun in the fuckin bathroom and this little lucky charms motherfucker won’t tell me where he hid the gold!”
“A leprechaun in the bathroom. What the fuck happened to you?” I said as I felt my blood beginning to boil.
The Imbecile then says - “Don’t worry. Don’t worry! I hogtied that little bitch and stuffed my underwear in its mouth. It’s in the bathtub. But don’t go in there. Don’t go in there. This thing fucked me up!”
And now I can hear someone fumbling in the bathroom moaning very softly. I looked at my brother and said - “What in the fuck did you do Alex?”
He replies - “I’m telling you. It’s a fucking leprechaun.”
“Okay. Okay.” - I said. “Stay right here and just, don’t move. Don’t do anything. Just keep still.
His eyes were so huge and dilated. He was so fuckin high. He had heartbeat pulses pumping from the top of his head.
I rushed back over to the front door and told Gloria that my brother got into a fight with a couple of guys at a pub while me and her were out and that her friend Katrina left because she got scared. She told me that was the first time she met that girl tonight so she really didn’t care and shrugged it off. Which was a huge relief to me. I told her thank you for a wonderful night. She understood. W said our goodbyes. I shut the door. And now… What the fuck is in the bathroom? Or better yet, who, is in the bathroom? Because let’s face it. This motherfucker did not find and fight with a leprechaun tonight. No way. There’s just no fuckin way.
I rush over to the bathroom and my brother leaps at my legs, and he’s holding onto me for dear life, begging me!
He says - “Please don’t untie it! It’s got magical powers! PLEASE!!!
Now, at this very moment? I am sort of hesitant about opening the bathroom door. But I snap out of it and open it. What the fuck. A leprechaun? No, I don’t think so.
I open the door…
“Holy shit.” - I said while covering my hands with my mouth. The floor was smeared in blood as if someone was dragged, leading to the huge cast iron tub. Smeared bloody handprints were all over the tub. And now I hear the faint moan coming from the tub. My legs are shaking and feel like they’re ready to give out on me. I was scared shitless.
“What did my brother do? Who is in that bathtub? I pray to God Katrina isn’t in there right now.” - I said to myself completely freaked out.
I slowly walk up to the bathtub…
And sure enough, there is a hogtied person lying in it with my brother's underwear stuffed in their mouth with a ripped t-shirt tied around their head and mouth, but… It’s not Katrina.
It’s a little person. You know, a dwarf? And… He’s literally dressed up in a leprechaun costume…
And how, on God's green earth did he end up here?
He has no idea I’m standing above him. I reach down to begin untying him but he begins squirming and screaming. I told him to relax and that I was here to help him.
And then My imbecile brother Alex, rushes into the bathroom and tackles me down. Stands up and begins shouting at this poor bastard hogtied in the tub - “Tell me where it is you greedy little fuck! Tell me!!!
I jumped to my feet and slapped my brother back to his childhood. Grabbed him by the throat, tripped him and threw him to the ground and said - “are you fuckin crazy? Do you want to go to prison for kidnapping? What in the fuck is the matter with you? You dumb fuck!!”
He then looks up at me with this pessimistic look on his face and says - “It’s a fucking leprechaun dood. A leprechaun.”
I was absolutely dumbfounded and furious at this point. I have this stranger in my Airbnb rental, hogtied and gagged and squirming and screaming and my brother thinks that he’s a leprechaun…
I can’t make this shit up.
He was so fucking high on those mushrooms. He was absolutely convinced that this man was a leprechaun. So… I had to play the game.
It was the only way to help this poor son of a bitch that my brother had kidnapped and hogtied in our Airbnb rental.
I calmly whispered and told him to please leave the bathroom so I could interrogate the leprechaun and find out where he was hiding the pot of gold.
My brother slowly stood up to his feet, face busted up, his cock and balls all shriveled and tight, looked at the man dressed up as a leprechaun, smiled at him with an evil grin and just, walked away…
And as he walked away, I told him to go and please put some clothes on, lay down in bed, and that I would handle the leprechaun. That I, would find out where the gold was hidden…
And that’s all I’m saying. I’m giving the computer back to my dumbass of a brother to finish off whatever else he wants to write.

Pretty outlandish right? I know. I know. You must think that I’m bat shit crazy huh? Okay so, to make the rest of this long story short, my brother Shane never told me what he did with the poor guy I hogtied and, well… i don’t remember how this guy came to be in my possession. I really don’t.
The only thing my brother Shane told me was that he ungagged him, untied him, and that he was extremely pissed off. And that he had compensated him for his troubles.
Man, I felt so horrible. I felt so horrible…
What I do remember though is waking up that following afternoon with my face all fucked up. Dehydrated with a tremendous splitting headache. I had no clue as to why I looked and felt the way I did. It was terrifying.
All of our luggage was packed and my brother was just sitting there, legs crossed and his arms folded.
Hey man… Take it from me. Don’t do fuckin drugs.

Two key points:

my realization:
I’m not going to state affirmatively whether I’m a wanderer of 6th density or not, I have my speculations and hunches like everyone on this sub, but as always, the intellect is a powerful egoic force, no one knows, I claim nothing of myself. This is 3rd density for a reason—we don’t know.
But it’s completely obvious to me that there is a “3rd option” when it comes to “graduation.” I am incapable of unseeing this perspective.
I suspect that mid-6th density wanderers here in 3rd density do not polarize negative or positive, but rather walk the razors edge of incurring no karma while having mastered negative and positive, and can function within a frequency bandwidth of “radiating” AND “magnetizing” without generating karma and thus minimally “infringing” on free-will in the process of transiting this realm.
Why? How? Because their origin of understanding is of mid-6th density where they have already reconciled and integrated the wisdom of the negative and the positive into one. They are drawing their understanding from a non-dual essence already.
This explains why most wanderers who risk coming down into 3rd density are of 6th density origin—because they realize in mid-6th density that there is a “middle-way” or “non-dual” capability of navigating the creation, so they say “let’s try this out in a 3rd density planet now and walk the walk under the veil of forgetting.”
They are drawing from the conscious essence of a “group-consciousness” that is sharing negative and positive energetic wisdom, there is no error in either polarity in their native 6th density understanding, because it is balanced.
Yes, I intuit that it’s possible. It’s just obvious to me that there is not a complete radiation versus a complete magnetization without there also being a karmic “zero-point” mastery of both.
However, I am clearly aware that those that are not native 6th density, and are instead native 3rd density, do indeed need to make this “polarization” choice, because their soul essence is still in a stage where a balance of both polarities of consciousness is not possible yet.
So in other words, the “game” is different for each individual, depending on your souls evolution and native density. And this isn’t to create some spiritual elitism concept either, but rather for those who find this information practically useful who intuit the same understanding of the creation, I’m just sharing this insight and intuition that blossomed out of years of Law of One, esoteric and metaphysical study.
For those that take this polarization theory to heart as their biblical law, and still see reality through the lens of absolute “good” and absolute “evil,” it’s just not that simple in my opinion, but maybe that perspective serves you best.
And yes, this obviously goes against the theory of the LoO, so no need to point that out. There is tons of nuance and mystery in this creation that is just outside of the dogmatic lens of biblical adherence to rigid concepts and metaphysical intellectualizations, including Law of One.
But for those that have also intuited this “mastery” over “magnetization(negative)” and ”radiation(positive)” and have clearly seen that both can be utilized logically and skillfully without incurring karmic debt, and without inflicting cartoonish-level “evil,” I would like to hear your thoughts on this.
Of course there are negative oriented individuals and groups in 3rd density that are masterfully incurring very little karmic debt with their predictive programming and manipulative brainwashing of the masses, as well as unaware and ignorant “negatives” that are operating unconsciously racking up tons of karmic retribution with their blatant infringement onto free will.
But when assessed logically, any interaction with life/creation in this dualism, such as farming and eating life forms(yes, even plants), using systems and enjoying liberties built off the backs of karmic systems and historical conquests, and the continuity of your physical life-force altogether(etc.) is still a conscious karmic utility of the energetic creation, rendering a total “radiative(positive)” energy output impossible and unachievable and therefore completely illogical in theory.

This post is inspired by previous posts made by u/feeniebeansy about different Style Savvy theories, but I never really thought about this until reading their posts.
We know that the first two games (Style Savvy and Trendsetters) are connected because Rococco, Grace, Renee, and Dominic make appear in Trendsetters, but what about the other games? We know that the Style Savvy world in Fashion Forward is a doll-like world, which the main character unlocks from using the key from the main character's grandma (may need to double check this). Does this mean that the different towns and cities from all the games are in this same doll world? Some brands make an appearance all throughout the series, so they have to be connected in some way.
At first I was thinking that Dominic may possibly be some sort of doll-maker, since he and Godfrey are the only male characters in the game, but I believe some of the customers make mention of having a boyfriend (may need to check again). Of course there are reasons why later games are more expansive than their predecessors, but I've always wondered why we as the main character always moved to a new town in every new game. Why are the contests not present in Styling Star, when they are an International (in the context of Style Savvy) event? Why are the fashion shows in Fashion Forward only centered around the in-game doll world? Obviously the devs pick and choose what to include in the games for what every reason, but I think it's interesting to think about.

Arrived at our VRBO last night, accessed via the key code (that I had to reach out to through host to provide) and clearly there were already guests there. Fortunately, not in person, but it was occupied. Took over an hour of texts and unanswered phone calls, but the host finally responded and offered another location about 20 minutes away. The new place was fine, but not the location we wanted. We purposefully booked a location in a downtown where we were attending a concert within walking distance the following day.
This all happened around 9pm, so we didn’t have many other options except to take it. I asked the host to reimburse 50% of total costs, which he agreed but said he couldn’t do so until after the funds were released by VRBO.
It’s now the following morning. My question is- what should my next steps be to make sure we are reimbursed?

I was hanging out with my friend, Emily, I usually call her Em, and her friend group. We were in her car listening to music, on our way to the mall. Em and her friends are really cool. They’re all into video games, anime and nerdy stuff like me.
We arrive at the mall. Em’s driving is kinda wonky, but we get to our destination in one piece, thankfully🙏 We walk in to the mall. Straight to a clothes store. I notice they only have women’s clothes. Is it just me or is it always hot in clothes stores? I almost build up a sweat from just standing there. But luckily we didn’t stay there for too long. I start to remember I kinda hate shopping, but then we walked to this store were they have all sorts of pop culture stuff like games and comic books and such. It’s way more fun to look in these kinds of stores in my opinion.
We start getting hungry so we decide that we should get something to eat. We go to the food court. It has several restaurants and chains circling a big open space with tables and seats. Me and Em get a hot dog each. While her friends got some boba tea, a pizza and a quesadilla, which they shared. While we wait in line for the food, one of Em’s friends comes back, she had bought a sweater. It looked pretty cool. A knitted sweater with a gothic inspired cemetery, crows and flies flying around in the air while the ground was infested with rats and worms. I thought it was a cool juxtaposition with the knitted, cozy, warm crafting method, mixed with the dark, harsh, cold realities of the design.
Then we got our foods and went to sit down and enjoy our meals.
After a while we get done eating and start to discuss what to do next. None of us gets any specific idea, so we just hang around and chat for an hour or two. All of a sudden music starts blasting from the speakers. They’re playing Gangnam Style. And a person starts dancing on the open floor right in front of us. Suddenly others starts to join in. I can’t believe it. I realize it’s a flash mob. Im like; What the hell is going on? Have we been transported back to 2012??
Em told me that there was too many people there and that her anxiety was going wild. So we decide to leave. Her friends wanted to stay and see the show though. Which was no problem. On our way out we walk past this one store. I ask if they’re ever going to restore this shop, I can’t remember last time I saw it open.
Theres shutters over the entrance, but it has some holes in it so I try to shine the light from my phones flashlight in there to get a better look. But it’s still too dark to really see anything. Then my friend tries to be funny and tries to spook me, so she jumps on my back, making me drop my phone in to the store. «Nice, what do we do now?» I try to stretch my arm into the store through the shutter holes, but the openings are to small to fit my entire arm. As I try to make my arm fit I notice the shutters are kinda shrugging off the floor. I try to lift them and they fly up. Someone must have forgotten to lock them.
No one else were nearby, everybody in the mall were probably to preoccupied with the flash mob. So we walk inside. I grab my phone off the floor. I shine my phone on the stand I vaguely see next to me, and there I see all these games and statues. This store used to be a GameStop. All GameStops in my country are now closed down. Which is sad😿 This store must have been closed down since the start of the 2010s, at least. Because the shop was filled with games for the xbox 360, Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii. Did we actually travel back in time or what is even happening right now?
I started remembering I used to go to this store all the time when I was just a kid. It was such a blast from the past. Like a rush of nostalgia. The games were scattered on the shelves, like half of them had been cleared for the shut down of the store. They still had some solid games though, like Super Mario Galaxy, the original Red Dead Redemption, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Black Ops, God of War 3. They also had box sets on the top shelves. The ones you could preorder and get a statue with the game, or some times other miscellaneous thingys. I couldn’t believe that these things were just laying around there. Em was also pretty awestruck.
Em immediately rattled on about how cool it all was, but also wondered why this would still be here. I had no idea, but I knew one thing. I wanted to check out the backroom. I always wondered what was on the other side of that door. It was located behind the counter. When I was small only the employees were allowed entrance. I always wondered what was on the other side when they would go check if they had a game or something.
I walked up behind the counter to the door. I laid my hand on the door handle, and pushed it down. Of course, it was locked. I turned around and flashed the flashlight of my phone on the counter. There was a computer and two monitors on the top of the desk, it didn’t work anymore. Beneath it were some drawers. I went through them. They were filled with game discs. I noticed that there was a key chain down in the corner of the one drawer. Maybe one of the keys could fit the door.
One of the keys did fit. I opened the door, and inside I saw a red ouroboros surrounding an inverted pentagram made out of Celtic knots, with an ankh in the middle of the pentagram. There were candles in each of its corner, half burned down. Each of the points of the pentagram pointed to its own symbol. I had to search them up and try to find them when I got home, so hopefully these are right. Under the middle downwards point of the pentagram was an alchemical solar symbol. At the middle left point was a Sri Yantra symbol. In the upper left corner the cross of saint Peter, i.e. an inverted cross. In the upper right corner was the sigil of Lucifer. And at the middle right point the I’itoi symbol. Pretty weird.
When Em came in behind me she didn’t say anything. She then said she wanted to get out of there now. So we left.

I am not sure what this situation is anymore. I met MM about 6 months ago. It was supposed to be purely physical but has evolved to be more emotional.
I have fallen for him, and he knows how I feel. Yet I know nothing about how he truly feels. Early on, he said he wanted simple but this is anything but simple.
This week, I had just gotten back from a work trip. While I was gone, he checked on my cats for me. The man has a key to my house by the way. I asked to see him when I got home because I missed him after being gone for almost 2 weeks. His response was just soon and to be patient.
I was kinda bummed because while I’m gone he will tell me how he wants to see me but when I’m back, he can’t follow through. So I’ve been kinda emotional since then reevaluating our situation. I told him I understand life at home is his priority but I need reassurance.
His reassurance is that he talks to me every day about his life and he watches my cats. I told him yeah that’s a bit of reassurance but I need some type of verbal reassurance on how he really feels. So I asked if he actually cared about me, and he said he does but nothing more than friends.
That hit me like a ton of bricks. I wasn’t expecting that last bit because he didn’t need to add it. Now I am wondering why we continue any of this. Plus you don’t have sex with your friends. And I am sure if his SO found out about any of this, she probably wouldn’t consider any of this friend type stuff.
The last few days I have been reevaluating everything. I have tried to take a step back from talking to him. I told him from the beginning I was never looking to change his situation. But I do want to feel wanted and more than a friend.
I do love this man. I know walking away is going to break my heart. I just want someone to feel the same about me that I feel about them. Staying in this situation, I will never get that all the while I just feed his ego.
I wrote this I guess looking for advice but I think I have my answer.
