 | Well I’ve been able to send one parcel, pair of TS X Jordan 1 golf lows..just a test run, so I found a cheap “branded” pair and set out on the adventure..these came in about 4 days to the warehouse..the other pair I ordered still were never shipped from another seller….of the 6 pairs of dunks; aj4; aj1; I tried to order, this was the only pair that I was able to purchase that I didn’t get refunded and message saying “product was pulled from the shelf”. Also 6 pair of shorts (EE reps cheap again, just testing the waters) even some hats…I did have an order for 6 baseball hats go through and so far 2 of the 6 have arrived at the warehouse..I did have 1 pair of dunks, the order was able to be purchased but after 16 days the seller still hadn’t shipped them so I requested a refund (ordered and paid for on the 4th of May..I will say all of my refunds came quickly when they had to cancel the order because of the product not being available, no complaints there at all..I personally have no issues with kameymall, aside from anything I tried to purchase wasn’t able to be procured..I asked “Emma” if buying branded products was prohibited, so that wouldn’t be wasting my time or theirs, she told me that they could get them so maybe it’s just a size issue.. Again I don’t think I have anything bad to say as far as this agent, they are polite and seen to be understanding..just may be a bad time, and some bud luck on my part! So I sold a few Apple products earlier today for cheap. They all sold within a minute or 2 of listing. I then recieved a message from the supposed buyer of the 1st item claiming there was an error with their payment method and asking if I could cancel so they can rebuy. They even offered to pay more for my inconvenience. I went ahead and canceled the 1 order. As soon as I cancel I recieve another cancel request message from yet another supposed buyer. That's when I finally figured out that these buyers were imposters! I tried reaching out to the original buyer to no avail. Not really a big deal expet for the original buyer!

Just for context, most of us are neurodivergent, I'm undiagnosed, but most of my friends are autistic/have adhd/something else, and at the end of the day my rational brain will always consider their avoidance as a "hyperfixation" that i'm not a part of.
Anyway, in the past we'd all play some jackbox or minecraft or fortnite or even roblox, most anything we all had access to play we did it in a group when we were available. Our group has expanded at least 3 people, but they're all fairly quiet anyway, one of them is my significant other, who is also a chill person who will only occassionally add messages of PDA in our discord, but they're very tame little "I love you"s or whatnot, nothing weird enough to put people off.
But recently, every time i go to invite people or ask people if they wanna play something, I'm either ignored, or turned down by a few people and then ignored again. It's really kind of pissing me off because on top of all that, they'd be playing baldur's gate 3 together on their specified runs like, CONSTANTLY, or I'd see people playing fortnite and ask if I can join only to get flat out ignored, even when I send a request to join them in case the discord message isn't seen! I'm already pretty fuckin alone as is, I have them and my other small friend group who barely do anything I do, and my partner, but really and truly, nobody irl, so I can't just keep shrugging and hoping it gets better the day after when the day after is the same shit all over again.
I don't know how to feel completely since half of me wants to go in and speak my peace and risk them thinking I'm selfish and needy, and the other half just wants to stop talking to them and do things on my own, again.
Even if I'm viewed as wrong, I really don't mind, I'm just tired and reddit is a void big enough for a scream like this.

In order to cease this trend from escalating further, it is important for us to understand the reasons of this trend and what are the actions needed to be taken.
To begin with, deforestation has been one of the main reasons why certain animals are facing extinction. Deforestation causes animals to lose their habitat and this forces these animals to adapt to unfamiliar environment. If these animals are not able to adapt quickly, their population might start to drastically decrease and from this, they become endangered and soon after will become extinct. Furthermore, deforestation has made it easier for poachers and hunters to track their desired species and this is also one of main cause of endangerment.
There are many initiatives that could be done by us and the government. Firstly, we could educate ourselves by researching and getting to know the species that are facing extinction and its effects on biodiversity. By doing this, we are aware of the consequences that we might face if we do not take any action against it. Moreover, introduction of strict legislation against deforestation should be stricter. For example, the government should evaluate the societal benefits of the land being emptied out. Furthermore, the government should work hand in hand with conservative bodies such as IUCN. Using resources from them, like the IUCN Red List, the government could then distribute this to the border patrol and prevent any illegal trafficking of animals.
In conclusion, it is our own actions that has force this issue to arise to this alarming rate. With that in mind, we should reconsider our actions and implement initiatives such as educating ourselves, setting legislations that put restricts deforestation and using resources from conservative bodies to guide our border. I had a string of freak traumatic events happen mid-last year and my boss suggested I take some months off work to process everything. We decided 6 months was a good amount of time, and I was set to start my leave in July 2023 and return to work January 2024. However, in October 2023, my boss messaged me and said the team at work no longer thought I was a good fit for the company, and he doesn't think I'll have a spot to return to when my leave was over. I begged him to help me work something out with the company, but to no avail. They wouldn't let me return to work.
Fast forward to May 2024, my work sends me a backdated termination agreement letter they need me to sign, even though my contract is set to expire in April. The reason for termination says "Due to extended absence from work" (my lawyer is confused as to why they would send this when my contract is set to expire anyways)... But they were the ones who set me up with the leave of absence, and wouldn't let me come back to work when it was supposed to be over.... They also didn't mention until this week that I have to pay back health insurance money? I didn't sign any kind of anything when my leave started. I don't know enough about the labor laws here, but it all feels like total bs and I don't know what to do, my visa expires on May 22 and i haven't been able to find another job yet....
edit: regarding reasons for being let go, my boss said the CEO was unhappy with how he saw me at an event days after i had a traumatic incident (i wanted to see my coworkers and let everyone know i was okay), and then when i accepted a dj booking in Texas a couple months later (it was a free flight home, was pretty broke after paying final expenses for 2 people so it was a blessing) and he said these incidents contributed to the CEO not wanting me to work there anymore but i'm pretty sure they can't legally fire me for this stuff so that's why they're going sketchy mode with everything??
I'm talking to a lawyer but even he's confused, it's all so confusing, does anyone have experience with this kind of situation?

From Christmas gatherings to birthday wishes and Mother’s Day greetings it all makes me (21M) uncomfortable when it comes from a 32 year-old texting his 22 year old ex-girlfriend and her relatives.
Her younger brother (16M) recently called to wish him a happy birthday.
From what I understand about their relationship, my girlfriend (22F) first met him when she was 15 and he was 24 before they started to date when she turned 17 and they eventually moved in together when she turned 18 and graduated high school. Her family saw little to no issue with the age gap and the fact that a grown man had been having sex with a high school girl. She told me she lived with him for 4 years while he proceeded to cheat on her, abuse her, and live off of her before she moved back to our area.
Unfortunately, I hadn’t realized the proximity of their breakup to our first meeting. For example, it turned out that the dog they shared for that time had only been put down a couple of week before us meeting and, although she had broken up with him months earlier, she had continued to visit him and vice-versa in order to see the dog still. Her parents are not the most emotionally available people as well and her brother who is now 16 has had this pedophile as an influence in his life for the better part of 5 years now.
I started to feel uneasy about his connection to the family when we had only been dating a month and Christmas came around. She’d been working on Christmas Eve and the day of so I hadn’t invited her to my family gatherings but she had then mentioned to me that her younger brother asked to have her ex over for their Christmas celebration. So, she ended up cooking dinner and having him over, I felt that it was not my place to tell this family how to celebrate their holiday and didn’t want to be an overbearing and controlling partner. I above all wish she would have asked me about everything rather than telling me about it.
There’s been other instances of his influence rearing its head in our relationship as well but recently I had really put this negativity behind me. I felt me and her brother building a bond recently when I showed him some auto maintenance but I couldn’t help but still feel obsolete,unnecessary, and ultimately disgusted when I hear that her brother still wants to/feels the need to call a pedophilic child-grooming, woman abuser for a happy birthday message.
I’d raised this issue with her before and she has ceased contact with him and asking me what else I feel can be done about it. Posting as a student here.
I have been home schooled in the UK (online) for the past year and essentially given the power to pick who I wanted for my teachers by my parents. I have been having the weirdest experiences and looking for support or explanations?
Here is a list:
• teachers getting angry at me for not being able to answer a problem and telling me “I never had a tutor” angrily
• booking lessons with me through the agency then not turning up. Pretending they booked the wrong time, telling me what the right time is, again not turning up. I have been there the whole time waiting for them. Tell me they will offer some times during the week as a one-off. I wait for them to tell me which days, keeping my evenings (after 7pm) open for them. Don’t offer new times. This specific tutor is only available at 9am on Sundays for an hour and has now told the agency they ‘are not around for the next two weeks’ even though they know my exam is in 3 weeks and we have missed each other for the last 4 weeks. The week after they did not turn up, they turn up, start to test me on a topic as if we are in an exam, then get angry at me for not knowing it perfectly off by heart? They were like “have you read it”, “yes, I have studied this module”, “no, you may have studied it but you do not know it. There is no point unless you know it” then they made us reschedule for the next week now have disappeared? How am I supposed to know to do homework if they don’t let me know in advance? And they are only free on a Sunday at 9am which is a bad time for me because my dad works night shifts. I told them about my dad and they just completely ghosted the message making me feel unimportant to them. Also, the tutor doesn’t have perfect grades of his own, and keeps making reference to ‘boffins’ who get the good marks… and I told him I was in the middle of other exams and he acted completely surprised and disappointed I have other subjects to sit exams for. As if all I am doing with my life is meeting him on a Sunday morning at 9am.

When starting each class, they would tell me to remind them which topic we were on because they could not remember, at one point this teacher got angry at me for politely asking them (with notice) if we could please start 15 minutes later so I could go to the toilet and have some water because I was coming out of a two hour lesson (never said I wouldn’t be fine to finish 15 minutes earlier if they had another lesson), telling me off and saying they are going to charge me for the whole thing rudely when I said I wouldn’t come to the lesson if they were going to treat me badly. This was our first lesson after they basically disappeared because they ‘had migraines’ and then forgot to arrange a lesson for two months, ignoring my texts. I had to call the agency and get them to make them book a lesson (this is all halfway through our module). Before they started avoiding lessons because of migraines, they had spent lesson time confiding in me that they were suffering from a bereavement of someone’s sibling (that they didn’t actually know). I felt really uncomfortable with this the whole time but was supportive.
• tutor telling me “you want to take a break now” and making me wait in a “break” for 30 minutes, then charging me for those 30 minutes even though I did not need a break? Later found out what he was teaching me was completely awful and way, way too basic - I would have gotten a D if I followed his advice.

All the above happened with lessons scheduled through a tutoring agency. The tutors knew I could raise concerns with the agency, and yet still acted this way. To disclose, I am a straight A student and work hard. I have high standards for my lessons. I depend on these lessons because outside of them, I do not have a great social life. So I am deeply focused on my studies. I am respectful with their time and always accommodate to their preferred time. I am always in lessons on time and switched on, and complete tasks around lessons if they are set. Most often, I have to actively ask for homework to be set (I do not ask for it to be marked, as I know that takes time). If it is marked, I compensate them per hour taken. I feel scammed. I have been waiting for two weeks now anxiously for a message from the tutor in the second bullet, who is supposed to be supporting me as a practice partner for an oral exam I have soon, and is not replying to my polite messages asking if he can please send me what the plan is or at least share the past papers he said earlier in our lessons he had but never got round to sending, in order that I might do some work while waiting for him to come back after two weeks, even though my exams are close. What I believe....Meaning and Interpretation:
Reflection: In our fast-paced world, anxiety often feels like an unavoidable part of life. The pressures of work, relationships, and the uncertainties of the future can weigh heavily on our hearts. However, Paul’s words in Philippians offer a powerful antidote to our worries. Paul tells us, “Do not be anxious about anything.” This isn’t a dismissive command to simply ignore our problems but an invitation to trust in a deeper, more sustaining source of peace. He guides us to approach every situation with prayer and petition, coupled with thanksgiving. This process transforms our focus from our troubles to God’s presence and faithfulness. When we bring our concerns to God, we acknowledge His sovereignty and care. But Paul emphasizes that we should do this "with thanksgiving." Gratitude shifts our perspective, reminding us of God's past faithfulness and helping us to trust Him with our present and future needs. It's an act of faith to thank God even while we’re still in the midst of our struggles. I have The Sims 1 Complete Collection, and when playing with a family of two, one of them couldn't interact with the other, when trying, the cursor would show the message "there are no interactions available". Later, the one who still could interact with her family member also began to show this issue. I have no idea how or why they are not able to interact with each other anymore. I looked for a way to solve it and it seems to be a common problem in Sims 3 and 4, but found no solutions for this problem for Sims 1. Any ideas?
