2024.05.11 07:22 FancyInvestment397 How to Play Live Casino? Reddit Tips & Tricks

Online gambling sites are constantly looking for new and creative ways to attract customers. Offering the live casino experience and rules on their website is what the best online casinos are excelling at these days.
Playing live casino games is fun, but playing without understanding some live casino rules and techniques is a sure path to frustration. Following proven tips for playing live casino games can make your experience much more enjoyable. We've put together some general guidelines here to get you on the right track.

Why Play at a Live Casino?

Hardly any sector has had as much innovation in recent years as the gambling market. New games and features are being developed almost daily to provide players with a great gaming experience, and one such innovation is live casinos.
Live casinos are a kind of golden mean between online and land-based casinos. In it, players get access to virtual rooms where real dealers conduct rounds of various games in real time.
Nowadays, most online casinos have this section, usually all popular games such as roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, etc. are available in live casinos.
In addition, live tables often have chat rooms. In this way, players can communicate with each other or with the dealers, creating the feeling of a real game in a real casino.
It is for these and other reasons that live casinos are so popular today, with them it is as if you are in Las Vegas from the comfort of your own home, whenever you want and anywhere in the world.

The Best Live Dealer Casinos 2024

  1. Bovada – Leading live casino with professional dealers and high payout tables
  2. Lucky Tiger – Premium live casino online powered by Visionary iGaming for action 24/7
  3. BetUS – Trusted casino brand with more than 30 years of experience in the USA.
  4. SuperSlots – One of the best live online casinos for lottery, dice duel, and Wheel of Fortune.
  5. BetOnline – Great for casino live promotions, including a weekly race for roulette and blackjack.
  6. Lucky Creek – Multiple variations of popular live casino games and professional dealers at all times.

Good live Dealer Casino Etiquette

Good live dealer casino etiquette starts before you even sit down at the table. Few things annoy other players more than when someone asks questions simply because they don't know the basic rules. The dealer can also be annoyed by certain chatroom attitudes and if a player abuses this, they may even be kicked out of the room.
Therefore, understanding the rules of your chosen live casino game and good chat behavior are important when accessing the table. These rules can vary from casino to casino, so be sure to do your research if you move to a new operator.
Let's say you are new to the game and want to start learning. It's best to look for a free version of that particular game. Most online casinos include this option: just log in to the game and enter “demo mode”. or “free play”.
There are even casino game developers (like Real Dealer and Evolution first-person games) that simulate a live table, but work as a single-player game available at online casinos.
Also, if you are still not quite sure about the rules but you want to know how a certain game works, you can just go to the live section of the casino and have a look. So, you enter a particular game and watch the rounds, when you feel confident, then you can put your chips on the table.
So, be a responsible and conscious player and learn how the game works before you bet on a live dealer game. This way, you won't lose money and you won't disturb the game by asking unnecessary questions, especially since the chat room allows you to leave constructive comments, praise the dealer, encourage other players, etc. If you are going to ask questions, ask questions at a more advanced level, not about the basic rules of a particular game.

What does a Dealer do in a Live Casino?

The dealer is responsible for performing several different actions during the game. First, he is responsible for everything that happens at the table. He is the one who notifies you when bets are open, closed, what the result of the round is, etc. Therefore, he is a kind of host who leads the game and interacts with the players in the chat room.
Secondly, the croupier has the same duties as the dealers in traditional casinos, that is: he shuffles and deals the cards, spins the wheel in roulette and so on. However, he doesn't have to worry about collecting and distributing chips: this is handled by the gaming system itself.
Usually, live casino studios combine physical furniture with a virtual interface, timers, cards, betting boxes, and so on. Thus, the player clicks on these boxes to place bets, and then the dealer performs a specific action for each game: dealing cards, spinning the roulette wheel, spinning the wheel, rolling the dice, etc.

Which table to choose for a Live Casino game?

Deciding which table to sit at is not such an easy task. Different live dealer gaming tables cater for many types of players, some may be high stakes and more oriented towards high rollers, while others are designed for players on a tight budget, for example.
Therefore, when accessing a live dealer table, make sure that your budget meets the table's minimum and maximum limits. Also, remember the golden rule of casinos: only bet on what you can afford to lose.
If you sit down to a game of blackjack with a live dealer, for example, and your budget doesn't allow you to play more than two or three hands, it's best to look for a table with lower limits. Most experts recommend that you bet no more than 5% of your total budget on each round of your chosen game.

Which Software Providers Produce the Best Live Casino Games?

Nowadays, there are many companies involved in developing games with real dealers. However, not all of them are equally good in terms of quality. So, let's take a look at the best in the industry:

Tips for Getting Started at a Live Casino

We're coming to the end of our guide to live casinos. To finish, check out our top casino tips to help you get the best out of this style of play:
Take advantage of live casino bonuses
Many betting sites and online casinos offer great bonuses for new customers. In some cases, the bonuses are exclusive to slot machine betting, but it may happen that the operator has live casino promotions and very often, for example, offers cashback (refund of lost bets) for live casino. So keep an eye on the promotions and the terms and conditions of each offer.
Do not try to recoup your losses
Many newbies make the mistake of chasing lost money. You should avoid this at all costs, if luck is not on your side, it is best to call it a day and come back at another time.
Set a betting limit
You should always set limits for yourself before you play. The most recommended one is to have limits on losses and screen time. Once you come across any of these, stop immediately.
Always stay focused
Live casinos are a lot of fun, and the thrill of the game can make you forget that you are betting real money and lead to reckless behavior. Therefore, you need to stay focused and always bet wisely and not on emotion.

Conclusion: Why Play at a Live Casino?

The most significant advantage of live online betting is that it combines different aspects of traditional and online betting, providing a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else.
Although the dealer can't see the players at the table, you can clearly see the dealer playing roulette, dealing cards and interacting with the players at each table.
Be sure to follow our tips and guidelines as you begin your live casino journey. They are designed to help you get the most out of your experience.

2024.05.11 02:26 Jaco-Jimmerson Theory: JAK is the ATLAS company from Advanced Warfare. (A megathread)

You read the title, JAK the company behind the aftermarket parts, is ATLAS before they changed their company name. The reason they changed name was likely due to a horrible event that happened in MW23. Understanding JAK could be more important to the story of new Call of Duty's "one universe".

What is the JAK company?

To begin, JAK is an in-game private weapons manufacturer that explores weapon modifications. They are the people responsible for all of the aftermarket parts in the game. Not much is known about JAK, outside of the fact that they created the "AA-12" JAK-12 in MW19. This means that they at least existed at or before 2019.
JAK is an abbreviation. I'll make another post about this I might be able to crack what it means "AK" stands for "Aftermarket Kits". And the "J" might just be the name "Jack". So I believe the full name could possibly be "Jack's Aftermarket Kits". Stay on this name cause it can be important!

What is ATLAS

ATLAS is a private military company, in which Jonathan Irons states is "A Superpower for hire." Any government, any billionaire, anyone who can afford them can buy their services. While Advanced Warfare, tells the story of the DNA bomb and how Irons wants to have global control of the entire world. I don't think this story matters anymore, welp not in the way the story was told.

The Theory

As you may know, the Black Ops universe is now connected with other series such as Modern Warfare and Sledgehammer's games. If not here's a summary.
In Tag Der Toten Nikolai destroyed the Summoning Key, and sacrificed the zombies crew from existence. Thus Leaving Samantha and Edie, and destroying the multiverse creating one big universe. This affected the campaign storyline of all COD games, and is now connected to the Black Ops storyline, via fragments of their previous universe glued onto the Black Ops story line.
Now that you are caught up. "Jack's Aftermarket Kits" started off as a company that created modifications for existing weapons. They sold these weapon mods to anyone. Private militaries to malitias to mercenaries. They did try their hand at creating an actual weapon, the JAK-12. While it was successful it was niche and no military adopted this weapon. So they continued making weapon mods, until that faithful incident in 2023. A terrorist attack inside a plane, the suspects were using 3D Printed guns.
The media was upset about this, and "Jack's Aftermarket Kits" took a large hit from the United Nations or a Government of a random concerned nation. For that reason JAK must rebrand into something new. JAK fell back into the less popular but safer option, creating their own weapons.
They began this project with the AMR9, a failed SMG that never made it to anyone's hands. JAK remodeled it into an assault rifle like usual conversion kits. The problem is, they used 3D printed materials, thus failing to gain any sellers. Next was the BAL-27. This time using only metal to create the gun, the weapon stood out by shooting faster the longer the trigger is pulled, and being a "reverse bulpup AR". But it was bulky and cheaply made, after all it was a prototype, but the idea did not sell to anyone. If you know about the hatred against bulpup rifles you'll understand. The weapon that brought JAK onto the map was the MORS-sniper rifle, it shoots a tungsten rod that is capable of piercing through infantry armor, and light and heavy vehicle armor. It attracted nearly every Nation that is serious with their military prowess. For that reason, the MORS was fully developed. But how did they get back to good terms to the public? They changed their names!
Obviously JAK can not express their products as "Jack's Aftermarket Kits" because of the aforementioned "No Russian" terrorist attack. So they used a codename "ATLAS" from their AMR9 kit. The very last 3D printed mod they'll make because of the controversy. Through the name "ATLAS" they managed to sell the MORS and get individuals invested into the company.
From that investment, they managed to reintroduce the BAL-27 with a sleek and cleaner design. As for the AMR9, they replaced the 3D printed materials, with metal. Metaphorically removing the awful past of "Jack's Aftermarket Kits".

extras

If you used the full name, "Jack's Aftermarket Kits". There could be a connection to "Blackjack". A blackmarket dealer from the black ops series. Once again this character Danny Li could relate to JAK, which could connect to the Black Ops series.

Conclusion

Let's just focus on JAK being ATLAS.

I love how battletech as a setting is realistic enough that things like the blackjack and assassin happen, like every once in a while you get a diamond in the rough, or a reputable mech manufacturer just squirts out a wet lil stinker.

2024.04.29 17:25 AutumnsFall101 [Fallout Elections] The 2nd Garvey Administration (2327-2331]

[Fallout Elections] The 2nd Garvey Administration (2327-2331]
Composition of the Second Garvey Administration:
President: Preston Garvey
Speaker of the House of Representatives: Sydney Phillips
Treasurer: Drake Ablton
Secretary of Agriculture: Hunter Abernathy
General of the Minutemen: Nathan McGraw
Admiral of the Commonwealth Navy: Ellen Waverly
Composition of the House:
Commonwealth: 30 Seats
Manifest Destiny: 22 Seats
Popular Party: 19 seats
Far Harbor First: 17 Seats
Acadian League: 7 Seats
Independent: 5 seats
The Second Garvey Administration:
On October 23rd 2327, the Commonwealth narrowly voted to reelect the incumbent President Garvey and the Popular-Commonwealth Coalition, with a few independents included into this mixture. However the President was heavily concerned with the rapid growth of the Far Harbor First party and the Secessionist Acadian League. He feared that if action was not taken, war would once again consume the island. Thus on December 25th, the Christmas Accords were held where representatives from both Acadia and Far Harbor met to discuss the future of the island after the collapse of the Children of Atom. After days of negotiations, an agreement between all parties came to be. The island of Far Harbor would be split into two semi-independent protectorates, Far Harbor and Acadia. Acadia’s territories would be South of Beaver Creek Lanes bowling alley through to Kitteredge Pass before ending at the VIM! Pop Factory with Far Harbor getting everything besides that. Furthermore both protectorates would agree to respect the religious liberties of the remaining Children of Atom insofar that they do not engage in future hostilities. To decrease the strain on these territories, a bill would be passed on February 12th of 2328 that would make it so that the territories would not be obligated to pay taxes to the Commonwealth. This was justified on the ground that the cost of collecting taxes from the island far outweighed any revenue received. Most of the representatives from Far Harbor left feeling satisfied by the Accords however the feelings of the Acadian League were far more mixed with some desiring a totally independent nation for Synthetics, but nonetheless the peace would remain on the island for the time being.
After dealing with the Secessionist Crisis, the 2nd Garvey Administration began a series of reforms to the Minutemen to improve its effectiveness based on the experiences of the Far Harbor campaign. First was the standardization of equipment. The CR-72 Combat Rifle and M-199 Assault Rifle was phased out and replaced with the AK Platform based on the “Handmade rifles” used by the Nuka-World raiders during the siege of Nuka-World due to their ease of manufacturing, greater stopping power and increased magazine capacity. The M-199 would now be designed as a machine gun to be used for suppressive fire, and the Laser Musket already being phased out of the Minutemen by the start of the Far Harbor Campaign would be relegated to training, ceremonial purposes and to a lesser extent for designated snipers (although most snipers would prefer the Gauss Rifle or .45-70 Lever Actions found in Far Harbor). Artillery pieces would also be placed throughout the East Coast of various settlements and towns of Far Harbor to bombard any enemy attempting to attack. The Commonwealth Navy also took initiative to greatly bolster its fleet, including getting the USS Democracy found in the Nucleus back to working order.
On July 9th of 2328, The Garvey Administration created the Department of Agriculture to be lead by Hunter Abernathy, owner of Abernathy Farm and an expert in agricultural management. The population of the Commonwealth had grown at a rapid pace over the last twenty years, and the crop yield couldn’t keep up with demand. In order to feed the growing number of mouths in the Commonwealth, under Abernathy, the Garvey Administration began providing farmers with fertilizer and pesticides, began the construction of new tractors, and even tasked the people working at the Diamond City Science Center to come up with pest resistant crops to be grown.
On October 17th a Skirmish would take place between Minutemen soldiers and a group of Children of Atom called The Order of the Nucleus in the Glowing Grove. The battle would result in 12 Minutemen killed and 27 Children of Atom killed, with dozens more wounded or captured. Sentiment of the Children of Atom in the Commonwealth had over the years went from indifferent to outright hostile despite the best effort of the Garvey Administration to promote tolerance towards non-violent members of the faith. These relationships would drop to a new low on November 9th 2328 when citizens from the town of Salem marched to Kingsport Lighthouse to confront members of the Children of Atom about several missing settlers from the town. There they found out the those Children of Atom had been sacrificing settlers to a Glowing One kept at the top of the lighthouse. In response, the members would be dragged back to Salem by an angry mob, and much like the witch trials centuries ago, the Children of Atom were burnt at the stake for their transgression. The accusation of blood libel and human sacrifice would be attached to all members of the Children of Atom for decades and centuries to come.
In the start of the second year of the 2nd Garvey Administration, Garvey would in an attempt to please the increasingly restless Manifest Destiny Party allow a minor military expedition into Rhode Island, in particular into the county of Newport as a way of getting more control of the Taunton River. On March 28th 2329, 100 Minutemen would march into the town of Tiverton under the command of Colonel Drew Long. Surprisingly, the locals happily accepted them in the hopes they would defeat the Raiders living in Little Compton and Fort Adam, also known as the Backroads. Thus on April 2nd, the March on Backroads began when Long ordered his men to take out the raiders there. After ten days of fighting, Blackjack, the raiderboss of region was captured in Fort Adam after days of bombardment by artillery and a siege of the fort. Thus the process of integrating Eastern Rhode Island and settling the city of Little Compton with Settlers had begun.
In November the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth would be put to the test on the issue of Douglass v the Commonwealth. Although historically the Commonwealth had been highly secular due to a lack of proper organization, with the support of General Nate McGraw, the Commonwealth has seen a return of the Roman Catholic Church as a spiritual authority. Although officially still following orders from Rome, in practice the various Catholic priests of the Commonwealth hold yearly meetings to discuss issues facing the church and to resolve doctrinal disputes in absence of his holiness. However Jack Douglass from the town of Starlight has challenged a ruling by the Commonwealth House of Representatives which would have allocated some federal funding to the rebuilding and maintenance of various Catholic Churches. Jack Douglass argued that historically the US government held up the separation of Church and State, and thus the use of his tax dollars to fund religious institutions go against that tradition. The Garvey Administration argued that they were not violating the separation of Church and State, but giving funds to help people fix already existing infrastructure and that the separation of Church and State mainly applied to preventing the creation of a State Religion. Garvey clarified that he would be more than willing to help support any religious center for the people of the Commonwealth. On April 2nd 2330 In a 4 to 3 decision, it was agreed that simply funding religious buildings for their construction did not violate the separation of church and state. The rest of the third year of the 2nd Garvey Administration would be fairly calm beyond the reactivation of the USS Democracy into the Commonwealth Navy.
At in January of 2331 during his State of the Commonwealth address, President Garvey announced that he would not be seeking a third, wishing to replicate the tradition of American Presidents of days gone by and wanting to enjoy a quiet retirement. He also announced that after much conversation the representatives of the Popular Party as well as the Commonwealth party had agreed to unify into a singular party, the United Commonwealth Party.
At the end of his second term, Garvey oversaw a peaceful settlement of the Far Harbor issue, expanded the Commonwealth into Rhode Island, and greatly improved and modernized the military. However many are worried about the future of the Commonwealth Party as Garvey plans to retire. There are debates about how should the leader of the party should be chosen as before it had mainly been an internal affair. There is also a growing desire in the Commonwealth to throw their ever growing weight around New England.

My first charcoal grill! Started with Buffalo Wings
Never owned a charcoal grill before and finally got this Oklahoma Joe’s Blackjack. Put it together today and after a couple hours of seasoning and burning off the manufacturing chemicals I started off with some buffalo wings. They came out really great! Definitely a learning curve compared to my gas grill but the flavour is just unreal. Cooked at around 350 for about an hour and brushed with Sweet Baby Rays. So good!

If you aim to gamble on sports, you'll get a 150% bonus on your first deposit. You can get this bonus for as little as £20, but it goes up to £1,000, which means you could get a bonus of £1,500 if you maximize that first sports deposit.
Rewards
You get the same bonus percentage if you invest in Esports first and deposit up to £1,000.
Like most non-GAMSTOP reputable casinos, Tropical Wins loves scoring repeat business, so it offers a Loyal Player Rewards program.
This loyalty program includes free spins, new deposit perks, and other offers that players who don't sign up for the perks never get and usually need to be made aware of.
Tropical Wins likes to mix it up with slot machines, going with various themes, pay lines, and jackpots. Its most popular titles are Bonanza Billion, Queen of the Sun, Thunder of Olympus, and Lucky Lady Moon Megaways.
Among the fun table games Tropical Wins offer are First Person Baccarat, 21 Burn Blackjack, and Pontoon 21.
The casino's sports betting page is flexible and multidimensional, including live streaming for select games and matches and some ESports events. There is also an early payout option for sports like the NFL, basketball, ice hockey, and tennis that can get kicked in while the game is still ongoing! Additionally, tropical Wins accepts Visa, Mastercard, and various forms of cryptocurrency.

Sweety Win Casino - Non GAMSTOP Casino for High-Rollers

Sweety Win Casino
Sweety Win Casino is not for the faint of heart but for the gambler with a sense of adventure. It has an enormous welcome bonus, and the platform is simple to use, making it one of the best non-GAMSTOP casinos in the world.
There are tons of bonuses on hand for players at Sweety Win Casino. When you first sign up, you qualify for the quadruple welcome bonus, which is relatively unique among casinos not on GAMSTOP.
The first deposit, a maximum of £1,000, includes a 10% bonus and ten free spins on the Lucky Dama Muerta game.
The second deposit repeats the offer on the bonus and adds ten or more spins on Candy Monster.
The third deposit repeats it, with the 10% bonus and ten free spins on Candy Monster. Finally, the fourth deposit ups the ante with a 15% bonus plus 75 free spins on Platinum Lightning.
All it takes to unlock any of these bonuses is to deposit at least £40 and click on the bonus box feature on the payment page. Perhaps the most significant positive of these bonuses is that they have no wagering requirements, although you must activate the prize within 72 hours of setting things up.
Slots and Table Games
Sweety Win has an impressive display of slot machines, with more than 2,800. Many slots have a unique feature in common, the scatter function, which can lead to bigger payouts in bonus rounds.
The scatter function is a specialty of Gaming Labs Certified, which uses a random number generator to ensure that nothing falls into a pattern and the house is no more capable of stacking the odds than any individual player. Some popular online slot titles at Sweety Win include Rio Gems, Book of Riches, and Brave Viking.
Sweety Win also features live casino games with an actual dealer, thanks to the innovation of Evolution Gaming. These live games include Blackjack, Crazy Time, Roulette Olympic, and Andar Bahar.
Sweety Win wants the best for its customers when looking for the most reputable non-GAMSTOP casinos, so it has a live chat service available 24 hours a day without registering. Emails or contact form requests typically take 48-72 hours to answer and address.

Winstler - Best Mobile Casino not on GAMSTOP

Winstler Casino
Another newcomer to the list of casinos not on GAMSTOP is Winstler. It opened in 2022 and accepted players from the UK and other parts of Europe. Still, it won't let you onto the site if your IP address says you're in the United States, Spain, France, The Netherlands, Italy, and many other countries, including China, Mexico, UAE, and most of the Middle East and Russia. United NV Casinos own the casino out of the island nation of Curacao, which also owns and runs Gxmble Casino.
Winstler has a great variety of online casino games to try your hand at, including legendary classics like poker, bingo, roulette, blackjack, and slot machines. Live dealers are on hand for many casino games, accessible to players on mobile devices and phones throughout Europe and Asia. Winstler offers live dealers for both roulette and blackjack and has a loyalty program available to all active players.
You are entitled to a signup bonus once you've registered, and there are plenty of online slots on the site that come with progressive jackpots that allow players to win big if their luck holds. Unlike some contemporary sites not on GAMSTOP, Winstler does not offer free spin bonuses or waver no-deposit bonus terms. It's hard to beat Winstler's commitment to variety, however.
The casino has 17 game providers and more than 900 slot machines on hand. The slots come from top manufacturers, including Apollo Games, Wzadan, and IGT. The online site is quite diverse in its language selection; users speaking English, Norwegian, French, Polish, Finnish, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Spanish, Italian, and German will all find a home there in their native tongue.
Withdrawals
If you like getting your money quickly, WInsterl offers instant withdrawals and allows for payments and deposits using cryptocurrency and traditional methods. If you sign up paying bash, the casino is exceptionally generous, offering a 300% deposit match up to £500. The minimum deposit to play is £25. The maximum withdrawal time is listed at 1-2 hours. The withdrawal limit is £10,000 per month. That service is available once players submit proof of identity, address, and payment accounts. Deposits can be made via Mastercard, Tron, Via, Tether, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Maestro, Bitcoin Cash, or Ripple. Winstler is a dedicated site and one of the best sources of slots not on GAMSTOP. It has over 4,000 games on its desktop version and over 3,000 on its mobile app.

Seven Casino - Best Non-GAMSTOP Casino for Slots

Seven Casino
Seven Casino is one of the hottest new brands among gambling sites not GAMSTOP. It opened in April 2023, is licensed in Curacao, and is owned by Group GAEM B.V. Seven Casino features non-GAMSTOP sports betting and Esports betting operators and accepts more than ten payment methods, including several cryptocurrency options. If you need help with anything on the site, Seven Casino has a help center open 24 hours a day for customer support.
Like several other casinos that are not on GAMSTOP, you have to be careful where you're trying to log onto Seven Casino from, as it is not supported in many countries, including the US, Spain, France, Italy, China, The Netherlands, and Russia. Fortunately, the UK does not fall onto that list, meaning you can win big on video slots, table games, jackpots, megaways, sportsbooks, and more!
Payments and Gameplay
Headquartered in Curacao, you can set up an account with Seven Casino using Visa, MasterCard, Sofort, Skrill, PaysafeCard, Neteller, GiroPay, Astro Pay, American Express, Instant Banking, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and Tether.
Seven Casino offers live dealers for roulette and blackjack, along with poker, keno, and baccarat. BetSoft, Quickspin, EZugi, Evolution Gaming, and 1x2 Gaming manufacture their games.
Seven Casino has no shortage of bonuses and promotions that can make for an enjoyable time, whether you are a new player or a returning one. The standard website and mobile app theme are dark black, which reminds one of the ambiances of being inside an actual casino on a fun night out.
If you're a new player, you can get a 10% cashback bonus, which is always a nice touch when you're a new player trying to learn the lay of the land online.
While Seven Casino is brand new, its parent company is more than a decade old and has come to be known for its reliability and variety.
Seven Casino's VIP program lets you earn rewards as you accrue wages. For every 10 pounds you wager on slots, you make 1 Diamond; for every 10 pounds you wager on table games, you earn 0.1 Diamonds. As you build up those Diamond totals, you'll be able to achieve all sorts of perks and rewards that will make any trip to Seven Casino a night (or day) to remember.
For example, if your first deposit is at least 10 pounds or more, you'll also get a spin on the Seven Casino Mega Wheel. How big is that wheel? You can earn a staggering 500 extra free spins with a maximum of 8 pounds per 10 spins.

Gxmble Casino - One of the Top Casinos not on GAMSTOP for Bonuses

Gxmble Casino
Gxmble Casino entered the online gaming world with a big splash at the end of 2022. It has a massive game library of slots and other fun stuff that feels right at home in a real casino. Do a little math, and you will realize that if you deposit a maximum of £2,500 over those first three deposits, Gxmble Casino will give you a free total of £3,000 just for playing there!
Every bonus requires a wagering requirement of five times the bonus amount, and there are some stipulations there you should be aware of as well. For example, if you bet on the slots, those best count at total value towards the wagering requirements, but money spent on table games and card games only has a 10% value on it. The good news is that you have 30 days to meet all those requirements from the time you first get the offer.
Even if you're no longer a newcomer, you can still get some fantastic bonuses from Gxmble just for showing up at one of the top casinos not on GAMSTOP, on certain days of the week. For example, it offers a 100% bonus of up to £250 on Mondays, a 50% bonus of up to £500 on Wednesdays, a 150% bonus of up to £500 on Fridays, and a massive 100% bonus of up to £1,250 on Saturdays!

Researching other online casinos and finding the one that is best for you can be done quickly and efficiently to find the very best online casino entertainment for you!

How a Pioneering Blackjack Master Beats the Odds of Aging (Bloomberg - Good Example of Attia's principles in action)
Thought this was a good example of centenarian (well, almost) decathlon. He mentions Peter Attia as well: "There’s a book about all this stuff called Outlive, by Peter Attia. I agree with almost everything in the book."
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2024-04-10/anti-aging-tips-from-blackjack-and-finance-guru-ed-thorp
__________________________________________________________________________________________________
Legendary gambler and hedge fund manager Edward Thorp, 91, shares what he’s learned about exercise, diet and managing risk in all areas of life.
The mathematics professor and hedge fund manager Edward Thorp rocketed to fame in the early 1960s by showing readers how to best casinos in blackjack. His book Beat the Dealer laid out a groundbreaking system of card counting, followed by guides to roulette and other gambling games. Thorp also invented or perfected a number of the quantitative hedge fund strategies being used today, and he delivered 30 years of 20% annual returns for the hedge funds he operated, with only a handful of down months, none large.
Less well known is that Thorp has devoted his talents as much to health and longevity as to beating casinos and markets. At 91 he’s remarkably healthy and vigorous. Although he’s no longer running marathons or doing serious weight training, Thorp jogs and works out at the gym regularly. He weighs 155—2 pounds above his weight at age 17—and can do two chin-ups and 15 pushups. He analyzes scientific literature and manages his regimen carefully.
We sat down with Thorp to distill his wisdom on the subject. Questions and answers have been edited for clarity and length.
Bloomberg Businessweek**: We’ve heard you quoted as saying you “beat the dealer, beat the market and are going to beat the man upstairs.” Is that right?** I think I said something like that. Well, maybe I’d modify it to “push the man upstairs back as far as I can.”
What’s your approach to longevity? The goal is to have a long life that’s also a healthy, productive one. As opposed to being in assisted living somewhere.
I think of it as having two parts. One I’ll call defense, in which you minimize the chance of really bad outcomes of one sort or another. And you try to eliminate weak links. It just takes one weak link to finish you off. Like alcoholism or a terrible skiing accident.
So one can look at the whole array of risks, the things that kill people, and figure out how to try to minimize a lot of them. With cardiovascular disease, for example, you can minimize that risk by what you eat and the kind of exercise you do and by regular checkups, so that if something is going wrong, you can address it before it gets worse.
You can go through the list of main killers, and you can see which things require the most attention. I do that. This leads to proactive defenses like regular checkups or vaccinations and managing overall risks.
On offense, exercise is one of the magic bullets. The evidence is that if you exercise a moderate amount, you can probably add half a dozen years to your expected life span. And you can add more than that to your health span, because you won’t be as weak as early in your remaining life.
And then there’s flexibility, which is something that a lot of people don’t think about enough, including me. But that’s something that starts getting to you. As you get older, you lose flexibility. And when you do that, you lose a lot of other things. You lose mobility, you lose balance, everything becomes riskier, and old people die from falls at a very high rate.
My exercise has two parts. It’s aerobic, and it’s strength building. So I spend some time walking or maybe an occasional short jog. And then I spend time in the gym just building strength, particularly core strength. I can do two chin-ups and 15 pushups. Not a lot, but still pretty good for 91.
And then there’s diet. What one eats makes a huge difference. And the typical American diet is not very good—the country’s become much heavier. And they’ve also acquired a lot of the diseases that come along with increased body mass. I weighed 153 when I was 17. I weigh 155 now. So, good: 2 pounds in 70-plus years. So maybe if I make it another 70-plus years, I’ll get another 2 pounds [laughs].
How do you know when you’ve passed the point of peak benefit of an exercise and diet regimen and are on the down slope? I ran about a marathon a year and trained about seven hours a week running. I did other things like play tennis and do some weightlifting. I would say that was more than enough. Probably if I had stopped at the 5 and 10K race level and just kept it there, that would’ve been just fine. And of course I got a lot more sun damage. So I probably went past the optimal point.
How many marathons did you run? I ran 22.
And what was your best time? 3:17. That can qualify you for Boston. I was 47.
So far we’ve got exercise, stretching, diet and avoiding dangers. How about supplements? I take maybe four or five supplements. One thing I did, which helped, which worked out dramatically about 25 years or so ago, was my wife and I had bone-density tests. And we found that we were, in my case, osteopenic, in her case, osteoporotic.
So we took Fosamax and then Boniva for three years. The change was remarkable. I’d had a steady climb over the last 20 years from first this Boniva and Fosamax experience and then taking regular calcium, magnesium, vitamin K, vitamin D supplements. The turnaround was remarkable. So that was a problem that I was able to address and solve successfully.
Another interesting supplement is Finasteride, which I take for an enlarged prostate. That’s a neat drug, because I noticed after I started taking it that my thinning hair simply stopped thinning. It’s been the same for the last 20-plus years.
How about more exotic treatments, such as blood transfusions? I think this is an upcoming area of research now, trying to determine the factors that provide the benefits from young blood. And then seeing if they can manufacture them.
If something sounds promising and there might be a lot of upside, I try to determine if there’s a downside. If there’s much downside, I’ll tend to wait and let other people do the experiment.
I’m not under pressure to stretch for these things that might work because I’m doing OK right now. If I were in bad shape, I might need to take some risk to get into less bad shape.
Do you do your own experiments or rely on medical advice?
Well, that’s a really interesting question, because there’s so much information out there, and the quality varies from very poor to pretty high quality.
So the first thing one has to do is think for themselves as much as they can. You can’t just accept what you’re reading. Most people will err too much in the way of accepting authority and believing what’s being said, even if it isn’t properly vetted and properly executed research.
I try to do those things that have a preponderance of evidence in favor of them. For example, smoking. I remember back in the ’80s that I was going to go interview [mathematician and hedge fund manager] Jim Simons to see if I wanted to add him to a fund of funds. And I never went to the interview because I learned that he smoked in meetings. I just didn’t want the exposure.
It didn’t matter in the early ’80s, because he was losing money then. He didn’t really turn things around until about 1989 or so, when I was no longer looking for people. He’s a very smart guy, but I’m astonished that he would succumb to an addiction like that. By the way, that’s one of the risks that I try to avoid: the whole class of addictions. (Editor’s note: Bloomberg was unable to reach Simons for comment.)
How about things people can buy? I have an Apple Watch and an Oura Ring, which I really like. The stats are really good, and so easy to use. I find the confluence of factors that go into the result are a little tangled or confusing. That is, if I change one variable, I don’t necessarily get a clear change in the variables that are recorded during the night for my sleep.
So, for example, I might eat a big meal one night and, instead of having terrible sleep, I might have fairly good sleep. Another night I might eat a big meal and it just ruins my sleep. Even though we’re a species with much in common, we also have a great deal of individual variability. What works for or is appropriate for one person might not work so well or be so appropriate for another person. You have to learn your own peculiarities and how to work with them.
There’s a book about all this stuff called Outlive, by Peter Attia. I agree with almost everything in the book. My wife actually knows a lot more about this than I do. She’s really smart. She’s a molecular biologist by training. She was in the medical industry for quite a few years. So I just go ask her.
What mistakes did you make? I’ve made two mistakes. The first thing is I wish I’d realized the problem with skin cancer from sun exposure sooner and more clearly. I got too much sun. I’m blessed with very good skin genetically, but it’d certainly be a lot better than it is now if I’d had less sun exposure and had been more careful when I got exposure.
The other mistake is being overzealous in exercise. The bad things that have happened to me have been of my own making—for example, weightlifting. I ended up herniating a disk. Running. I ended up tripping and falling and breaking an elbow and detaching a tricep tendon, which led to an operation and a long recovery.
Is there anything from finance or gambling that influences your thinking on longevity? I think managing risks like you do in finance carries right over to managing risks in life. For example, the risk of being killed by an automobile is about 1 basis point per year in the United States [i.e., one chance in 10,000 of being killed by an automobile each year]. But it’s about 80 basis points over a lifetime in the United States. So that’s a risk that you can think about, quantify and manage. For example, obey the rules, have short commutes instead of long commutes, drive safe cars instead of risky cars and so on. You can cut the risk in half or more.
In your books on blackjack and the markets, you always emphasize having an edge. Do you have an edge in thinking about your health? I try to be my own doctor as much as I can. The people I know that have problems don’t tend to have that quality. They don’t anticipate and understand how to actually help themselves. They think other people will fix it for them. And a lot of people believe in magic. They think they can take a pill, and it’ll be fine, but that doesn’t work. One person I know had bariatric surgery. It was not good. He was very heavy. He’s now very thin but has all kinds of gastrointestinal problems.
So if I have an edge, it’s that I try to think things through for myself, look at the empirical evidence, manage risks and work hard at making the necessary changes. In some ways it’s not so different from the casinos and markets.

2024.04.09 22:02 _jstanley Selling a blackjack card-counting device

Hi, I am an electronics hobbyist, a couple of years ago I blogged about a device I made for cheating at chess[0], and now a person from the US has got in touch with me and asked if I could make him a blackjack card-counting device. This person is a collector of casino cheating devices, he uses them in demonstrations and lectures on casino cheating.
My question is: would it be illegal for me to make and sell this person a card-counting device?
A few details:
Many thanks.

Playing cards - final post
Final playing card update. Thank you all for the advice and messages, sorry if I’ve not got back to anyone. Due to popular demand the cards will be up for sale in a Kickstarter with WJPC as the manufacturer so will be super high quality on the backs!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/magiceyecards/magic-eye-playing-cards
If it reaches 200 decks which is the minimum bulk ordering I’ll make a few % of the total so thank you in advance if you do buy. Again if anyone wants the designs to just print their own let me know!
Thought I’d throw a few games in the mix for this last update.
Picture 1, blackjack! Are you hitting or sticking?
Picture 2, Pelmanism (memory game). Can you match the numbers?
Picture 3 (tricky one), Poker! How much are you betting?
Picture 4-5. Practice for the eyes!
Thank you all again for helping me make these, I had friends over at the weekend and my eyes are sore from playing tricks on them. Couldn’t bring myself to win any money off them!

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - February 7, 2024) - First Majestic Silver Corp. (NYSE: AG) (TSX: FR) (FSE: FMV) (the "Company" or "First Majestic") is pleased to announce positive drilling results from its 2023 exploration programs at San Dimas, Santa Elena, and Jerritt Canyon. The drilling programs were designed to test new silver and gold mineral targets, increase Mineral Resources and convert Mineral Resources to Mineral Reserves.
"We are very encouraged with the exploration results that have been achieved throughout 2023," stated Keith Neumeyer, President & CEO of First Majestic. "The recent drilling has accomplished multiple goals from highlighting new geologically prospective areas to expanding and further defining known silver and gold mineralization. These results provide the basis for First Majestic's year-end update of Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve estimates expected to be released at the end of March. At San Dimas, we have tested previously undrilled veins like the Peggy vein and have explored extensions of known mineralization such as the Perez, Santa Teresa and Rosario veins. At Santa Elena, infill drilling of the Ermitaño vein intersected mineralization that is in many cases better than expected while follow up drilling of the new Javelin target at Jerritt Canyon has identified what appears to be a new gold mineralized zone near underground infrastructure and continues to highlight the exploration potential of the asset. These results set us up well for an exciting start for 2024."

Drilling at the historic Sinaloa North-Elia mines/veins cut multiple gold and silver mineralized vein intercepts. The drilling confirmed and further delineates the presence of mineralization below historic mining of the Sinaloa vein (Figure 2). Select drill hole assay grade and intervals (true width) of the Sinaloa vein intersections are shown below:
  • Hole SIN23_073: 11.53 g/t Au & 758 g/t Ag over 2.97m;
  • Hole SIN23_076: 9.86 g/t Au & 779 g/t Ag over 1.51m;
  • Hole SIN23_069: 12.65 g/t Au & 578 g/t Ag over 0.95m;
Expansionary drilling on the projection of the historic Santa Teresa vein has returned significant intercepts. The vein remains undrilled to the west for ~500m along strike for exploration upside (Figure 3). Drill hole assay grade and intervals (true width) of the vein intersections are shown below:
  • Hole ST23_014
    • 3.95 g/t Au & 270 g/t Ag over 1.86m;
    • 2.07 g/t Au & 130 g/t Ag over 2.90m;
    • 40.40 g/t Au & 2,092 g/t Ag over 0.91m;
  • Hole ST23_022
    • 3.19 g/t Au & 274 g/t Ag over 0.78m;
Drilling at the Perez vein delineated and extended gold and silver mineralization up-dip on one of the known ore shoots and further defined a newly identified mineralized shoot to the east. In some cases, drilling cut unmodeled gold and silver mineralization in secondary veins, breccias and stockworks in the hanging and foot wall of the primary vein for higher ore tonnage. The Perez vein exploration potential remains open to the east where it projects into an area where post-mineral faulting is anticipated to decrease, providing confirmation of ore body continuity (Figure 4). Select drill hole assay grade and intervals (true width) of the vein intersections are shown below:
  • Hole PE23_225: 3.78 g/t Au & 421 g/t Ag over 7.78m;
  • Hole PE23_242: 7.36g/t Au & 1,238 g/t Ag over 2.41m;
  • Hole PE23-229: 3.69 g/t Au & 509 g/t Ag over 4.42m;
Drilling at the Rosario vein continues to delineate a mineralized volume east of the historic mining area (Figure 5). Drill testing also cut multiple veins in the footwall of Rosario: the Macho Bayo, Peggy and Basilisa veins. The intersection of the Peggy vein returned significant gold and silver values over 3m, the newly discovered mineralization is open in all directions (Figure 6). Select drill hole assay grade and intervals (true width) are shown below:
  • Hole RO23_031: 7.31g/t Au & 598 g/t Ag, 0.77 m;
  • Hole RO23_032: 7.69 g/t Au & 8g/t Ag, 3.29 m (Peggy vein)

SANTA ELENA EXPLORATION RESULTS
An infill drilling program designed to convert Mineral Resources to Mineral Reserves at the Ermitaño mine, cut multiple high-grade intersections of gold and silver mineralization (Figure 7). In addition to intercepts of the Ermitaño vein, multiple holes intersected mineralization in secondary veins and breccia zones located in the hanging and footwall of the Ermitaño vein proper. Select drill hole assay grade and true width from the intersections include:
  • Hole EWUG-23-012: 20.95 g/t Au & 311 g/t Ag over 4.88m;

Drilling designed to expand the Javelin target identified in July 2023 cut multiple significant gold intersections located between 90m and 340m from existing Smith mine developments. The flat-lying geometry of the gold mineralization trends at a relatively low angle to the drill hole intersections which define a mineralized volume that remains open in multiple directions (Figure 9 and Figure 10).

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL
First Majestic's drilling programs follow industry standard established QA/QC insertion protocols with standards, blanks and duplicates introduced into the San Dimas, Santa Elena and Jerritt Canyon sample-stream. After geological logging, all drill core samples are cut in half. One half of the core is submitted to the designated laboratory for analysis and the remaining half of the core is retained on-site for verification and reference purposes.
Core samples from Jerritt Canyon drilling were submitted to First Majestic's Central Laboratory ("Central Lab") (ISO 9001-2015). Core samples from San Dimas and Santa Elena drilling were submitted to the Central Laboratory or SGS in Durango, Mexico ("SGS") (ISO/IEC 17025:2017)
At the Central Lab, gold is analyzed by fire assay with atomic absorption finish (Au-AA13, ASAG-13-Au). Results above 10 g/t Au are analyzed by 20 g Fire Assay gravimetric finish (ASAG-14). Silver is analyzed by 3-Acid Digest AAS finish (AAG-13) or by 20 g Fire Assay Gravimetric Finish (ASAG-13-Ag). Results above 200 g/t Ag are analyzed by 20 g Fire Assay gravimetric finish (ASAG-14). At SGS, gold is analyzed by 30 g Fire Assay AAS finish (GE_FAA30V5). Results above 10 g/t Au are analyzed by 30 g Fire Assay gravimetric Finish (GO_FAG30V). Silver is analyzed by 2 g 3-Acid digest AAS finish (GE_AAS33E50). Results above 100 g/t Ag are analyzed by 30 g Fire Assay Gravimetric Finish (GO_FAG37V).

Requested appraisal of Lance composition (see below/comments).
Special Deconstruction Services: Lance appraisal.
So for starters, this is for fun. I have no experience in Lance composition and have arranged these lances according to what roles I think they’d do well with and other mechs that could cover their shortcomings. I have never played tabletop, and I don’t have a community yet so I’d like people’s thoughts about each Lance’s capabilities and weaknesses on tabletop.
They all fall under CAT Inc’s “Special Deconstruction Services” company. Industrial manufacturing giant diversifying its portfolio to include wartime services.
1: Scout Lance “Crowbar” General purpose, relatively light and fast. Locust, Commando, Firebee and Shadowhawk. Shadowhawk included to help the Lance fight its way out of sticky situations but not so slow as to greatly reduce their capacity for speedy movement.
2: Medium Support Lance “Hacksaw.” More specialist than the other lances in that their primary purpose is quick react fire support and suppression. Catapult and Crusader are both Missile boats while the Blackjack and Icarus II use direct fire to focus on targets trying to close distance with the more vulnerable fire support mechs.
3: Heavy Support Lance “Splitter.” Basically an up-gunned version of Hacksaw Lance. Archer and Rifleman provide more substantial ranged support, while the Thunderbolt provides versatile toe-to-toe protection. The Wolverine functions as a harasseflanker. Meant to have more emphasis on versatility.
4: Heavy Direct Attack Lance “Jackhammer.” General brawler Lance. The Hunchback and Enforcer are the lightefaster units that would ideally function pairs, packing enough armor and firepower to whittle just about anything down out to medium range. The Awesome and Orion together provide the punch and versatility the other two mechs lack. Pretty much any target within range of the Lance would be pummeled primarily by autocannon and PPC fire, supplemented by some lasers and missiles.
5: Assault Lance “Piledriver.” It does what it says on the tin. Lots of everything at most ranges. Really only lacking speed. Atlas, Annihilator, Stalker, Marauder II. Potentially very expensive?

2023.12.20 11:09 bob_the_impala Upcoming Canadian Armed Forces aircraft acquisitions and potential designations

Canada has just announced that it will be acquiring 11 GA-ASI MQ-9B SkyGuardian Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems:
Previous unmanned aircraft used by the CAF have been designated CU-1## (for example, CU-172 Blackjack, CU-173 Raven). Therefore, a potential designation for the MQ-9B in Canadian service would be CU-209 (109 was already used for the CC-109 Cosmopolitan).
The official Canadian announcement (linked above), also mentions:
Since 2022 alone, the Government of Canada has finalized the procurement or upgrade of approximately 140 new aircraft for the Royal Canadian Air Force, including:
  • 88 new F-35 fighter jets,
  • 9 new CC-330 Husky strategic tanker and transport aircraft,
  • up to 16 new P-8A Poseidon multi-mission aircraft,
  • 16 new or upgraded Cormorant helicopters (as the project will upgrade our fleet to provide Canada with the most advanced version of the helicopter); and
  • 11 remotely piloted aircraft announced today.
Potential Canadian designations for the F-35 could be CF-235 or CF-335 (135 was already used for the CH-135 Twin Huey).
The CC-330 designation of the Airbus A330 is a bit unusual, as it does not start with "1" like other designations. However, it does follow the convention of using the manufacturer's model number. The CC-295 Kingfisher designation for the Airbus C-295 is similar in this regard.
Potential Canadian designations for the P-8 could be CP-208 or CP-308 (108 was already used for the CC-108 Caribou).

2023.12.15 08:01 encapsulated1 Not sure how I can go back to flying Economy - Just booked QR Q Suites

Flew KLM J last summer from JFK to AMS on their new 787 and though the flight was short.

Just got back from JAL J from JFK to HND - flight to Japan.

Just booked QR Q Suites JFK -> DXB for next year. After experiencing JAL, and watching Q Suite reviews/ couples suites, I am looking forward to a much better experience than JAL.

Also flying Delta out of JFK to EZE in comfort plus next month, no upgrades for South America routes... hopefully cheap upgrades are available at check in. Going on a comped 14 day Antarctica Cruise

We all find ourselves with a lot of downtime these days, whether it’s on the commute to and from work, when waiting in the queue at the dentist, or simply relaxing with an ice-cold drink on a tropical beach. Filling this void with entertainment can be difficult, but here at BitStarz we disagree. Game developers are optimizing their games to be played on smartphones, meaning you can carry on your gaming session no matter where you go. Long gone are the days where you’re tied to your computer, you can now access and play your favorite games on the go.
That being said, some smartphones just aren’t cut out for the online gaming lifestyle, that’s just the way it is. But don’t worry, as that’s where BitStarz comes in. We’re going to run through the top 5 smartphones that will put you back in the driving seat of your mobile online gaming experience!

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

https://preview.redd.it/a3ccgrhye84c1.png?width=569&format=png&auto=webp&s=486197311660f9df77f29d10cd2f927fe443df3e
If you’re ready to take your mobile casino play seriously, then you don’t need to look any further than the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. It’s one of the most powerful smartphones that has ever hit the market. It comes with QHD+ resolution, 128GB storage out of the box, and one of the largest smartphone batteries you’re ever likely to see. These features all mean that you get a vivid and rich experience, without needing to worry about your phone dying after 5 minutes. It can set you back up to $1,700, but it’s well worth the money if you’re into casino play on the go – you won’t be disappointed.
Specs:
  • CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 / Exynos 9820
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Screen Size: 6.4-inches
  • Battery: 4,100mAh
  • Resolution: QHD+

Apple iPhone XS/XS MAX

https://preview.redd.it/c9dj1p20f84c1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=0a672f4ca3830b35081021bd475f456d81503db0
You’ve got to hand it to Apple, it sure knows how to create a stunning and powerful smartphone. Everyone knows and loves iOS, and it feels so intuitive that you could use it in your sleep. It comes with Apple’s very own Apple A12 Bionic processor, 4GB of RAM and up to a sizeable 6.5-inch display. The HDR screen is one of the best we’ve ever seen, meaning your favorite games will look better than ever before. While the iPhone will only set you back around $900, its battery is rather average – so you might want to consider buying a battery pack.
Specs:
  • CPU: Apple A12 Bionic
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Screen Size: 5.8 inches / 6.5 inches
  • Battery: 2658mAh / 3174 mAh
  • Resolution: 1125 x 2436 pixels / 1,242 x 2,688 pixels

Sony Xperia 1

https://preview.redd.it/5dg6xo41f84c1.png?width=500&format=png&auto=webp&s=10b274931b28cf36e0697f8798ca956866ea3161
If you’re all about big screens, then you’re not going to want to look any further than the Sony Xperia 1. It’s packing the world’s first 21:9 4k display – the preferred aspect ratio for watching movies – meaning your gaming session is going to be so immersive you won’t want to stop. It has the brand-new Snapdragon 855 processor and 6GB of ram, meaning you won’t have any issues while spinning the reels. Costing $800, it’s hardly the cheapest smartphone on the market, but in our experience this cost is justified. While the Sony Xperia 1 is waterproof – meaning you can take it in the pool with you – the battery life is a little disappointing considering the size of the screen.
Specs:
  • CPU: Snapdragon 855
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Screen Size: 6.5 inches
  • Battery: 3,300mAh
  • Resolution: 1644 x 3840 pixels

Huawei P30 Pro

https://preview.redd.it/hpukp9j2f84c1.png?width=584&format=png&auto=webp&s=48ee433c15dd5b878545cb102d566c67db42d0fb
Chinese mobile devices are now becoming harder to purchase and use in America, in spite of that they sure do pack an incredible punch. The Huawei P30 Pro has been favored by mobile photographers the world over, and its impressive display is one of the best around at the moment. It has a slightly smaller screen than most phones – by just 0.03 inches – its Kirin 980 CPU and up to 8GB of RAM certainly makes up for it. It comes with a super-fast fingerprint scanner, meaning you won’t have any issues getting into your phone. It also packs an impressive battery, leaving you to game freely without worrying about running out of juice.
Specs:
  • CPU: Kirin 980
  • RAM: 6GB/8GB
  • Screen Size: 6.47 inches
  • Battery: 4,200 mAh
  • Resolution: 1,080 x 2,340

OnePlus Pro 7

https://preview.redd.it/niy7pim3f84c1.png?width=569&format=png&auto=webp&s=33ae3342517a6195012cb4075b6d35dd236b03b3
OnePlus began life as a cheap smartphone brand packing huge amounts of power. Now, it has installed itself as one of the leading device manufacturers on the planet. The OnePlus Pro 7 is the mobile gamer’s dream phone, largely thanks to OnePlus dropping the notch front-facing camera design. This leaves more room for your games to fit on the screen without huge chunks missing.
It has a crystal-clear and incredibly smooth 90Hz display that comes in at a size of 6.67 inches. Like the Xperia 1, it also has the latest Snapdragon 855 processor and up to 12 GB of RAM. If the 4,000mAh battery isn’t enough for you, it has 30W Warp Charing enabled, meaning you can get back to gaming in no time at all.
Specs:
  • CPU: Snapdragon 855
  • RAM: 6GB / 8GB / 12GB
  • Screen Size: 6.67-inch AMOLED, 90Hz
  • Battery: 4,000mAh
  • Resolution: 3120 x 1440 at 516 ppi
All of these phones pack a powerful punch and will give you the very best mobile gaming experience. You will be able to enjoy your favorite slots such as Fire Lightning, Wolf Gold, Plinko and live VIP Blackjack to the fullest – reveling in the hyper-realistic graphics, without running to the phone charger. BitStarz has one of the largest ranges of mobile games available, including all of the fam favorites. The site has been optimised for the ultimate user experience on mobile, meaning you will get an unparalleled level of enjoyment and fun out of gaming on the go from your brand new mobile device.

60% of Americans now living paycheck to paycheck - again. You can't blame Bidenomics for this, but it sure hasn't helped . . .

Photo above - Nancy Pelosi (age 83, net worth $120 million) consults with Pope Francis on eradicating poverty. Stop laughing - what else could they possibly be discussing?
I wasn't surprised when I read the “60% living paycheck to paycheck” headline – again. (See link below). It's been popping up for years. I remember it during the Trump administration, and during the Obama years too. I'm not an expert on presidential eras before that, but if you showed me discouraging “paycheck to paycheck” stats from Bush, Clinton, Carter, Ford and beyond, I wouldn't dispute them. I suspect that during George Washington's presidency people lived “harvest to harvest”, and a poor one meant misery or starvation over the winter.
What caught my eye this time was the subtitle: "nearly half of people earning $100,000 a year are also living paycheck to paycheck." Geez Louise – I don't earn close to $100,000 (it's $58,000), and I'M not living paycheck to paycheck. Where do all these hamsters earning 6 figures live? Are they all in Silicon Valley, Seattle, NYC, and Los Angeles?
I suspect that's part of the answer. “Affordable housing” NYC style is around $3,500 a month for a walk up junior 1 bedroom on a crappy street. So right off the bat, nearly half their after-tax income is gone, before they even start thinking about food, clothing, electricity, cable, internet, cellular, subway fare, health insurance, liquor, pot, or junkets to Atlantic City to pay the slots and blackjack.
Don't scoff when I toss in “Atlantic City”. Half of all personal bankruptcies are precipitated by gambling losses. This is an official court statistic. And if your state has Powerball or scratch off lotto sales, then you've seen senior citizens lined up a dozen deep to buy tickets. Half of all retirees believe “lottery winnings will be an essential part of my retirement income”. I blame public schools for not including statistical probability in the core curriculum required for a diploma. But every kid has seen at least a dozen global warming films.
Snark of the day – wasn't Obamacare supposed to fix this paycheck to paycheck problem? To prevent people from being driven into bankruptcy by an auto accident or cancer? The actual cost of health insurance has skyrocketed. Most single worker coverage is around $700 a month ($8,500 a year) split between employer and employee. Coverage for a family of 4 in California or NY can easy top $25,000. It's surpassing car payments, for sure, and possibly edging up to match rent/mortgage payments for some unlucky people. No wonder some are tempted to ditch coverage and just pay the penalty - and hope for the best.
If we're alarmed at 60% living paycheck to paycheck (and we should be), here are some other official statistics to throw into the mix.
  • 44% of workers don't earn enough to owe any income tax.
  • 70 million people collect social security.
  • 38 million people are on food stamps
  • 13 million people work at least 2 jobs
  • 10 million people live in rent subsidized units
  • Over 2 million are homeless, live in tent cities, or sleep for free on a relative's couch
  • Nearly 2 million are in prison or jail. Another 5 million are on court supervised parole, or out on bail awaiting trial.
  • Only 1.4 million new homes are built annually, in recent years. This includes apartments, tiny homes, mobile homes, manufactured homes, etc.
Okay – that's a lot of data, I know. The conclusion I reach is that America doesn't build enough new homes, and people couldn't afford them anyway. At least not as Uber drivers, Amazon pickers, ex convicts, healthcare system compliers, and weekend blackjack players.
I'm not blaming President Biden. I'm not blaming people in general. But these statistics are so effed up. How can we be at “full employment” (like Bidenomics always claims) and have so much poverty and misery? How can we keep re-electing a US Senate where the starting salary is almost $200,000 annually (plus food housing and travel stipends), their average net worth is $7 million, and their average age is 64? How is this dystopian paycheck to paycheck life ever going to change with the same rich, old ruling class always in charge?
I'm just sayin' . . .
