When I was in grad school, Lyft first came to my city and was giving out free rides up to $25 with a referral code and the driver would get a $25 referral bonus for each ride taken using said code. I converted my huge purple mustache into an obnoxious necklace and went to every college opening day, snuck into all the dorms I possibly could to find bulletin boards, and plastered my code in all possible ways. I would walk around downtown handing out business cards I had made with the code on them. I drove Fridays and Saturday nights only and raked in $1500 on average for around 10 hours of driving and all the codes I distributed paid dividends over the course of the entire promotion (months and months). I made triple from the codes I distributed compared to what I made in giving rides.
This was 10 years ago. What a time.

Now that the dust of the May update is starting to settle, we're seeing the contours of what the future of the game might look like. With renewed optimism I've allowed myself to start getting excited for what we might expect, and I thought I'd share my hopes, dreams and speculation.
I think the starborn element is one of Starfields greatest strengths, and I expect Bethesda to keep exploring the idea and all it's aspects. "Deeply human" stories about different worlds, cultures, religions and purpose is my favourite part of the sci fi genre. Star Trek, Stargate and Dr Who all have these human elements in common, and I think Starfield has the potential to live up to these classics. I'm sure the va'ruun will play a role in Shattered Space, but I expect the Unity to still be the running theme. A lot of content that didn't make it into the initial release will be pushed out with the first major DLC. In general, I hope they will lean into more meaningful choices to increase replayability and make New Game+ more impact full.
Exploration in Starfield doesn't allow me to feel hopelessly alone as often as I'd like. To fix this, I would: * Add a scanning minigame in space, like Eve online type deep space exploration with scanner probes, in addition to the already functioning emergency beacon feature they had at one point during development. Just stumbling across random encounters is fine, but it's weird that it happens so often. * Add surface scanning from space to find planetary POIs - constantly stumbling across multiple POIs, even on decolate moons, feels wrong. My solution to this problem would be to make every landing site empty by default unless previously scanned or otherwise already marked on your map.
Bounty hunting is not very compelling to me right now. I would like to see the following: * Make better use of the systems already in place like boarding ships and non lethal weapons. Let us capture targets alive, and add a system similar to the Shadow of Mordors nemesis system for extra spicy repeat encounters. * A bounty hunting system for starborn across multiple universes - give the hostile starborn special strengths and weaknesses like mordor nemesis or xcom chosen every time they come back.
I expect construction and crafting to get a lot of love in the future in the form of free quality of life updates aswell as dedicated DLC: * Expand on the LIST questline - move them into your outpost, put them to work, etc. I'm convinced this was the plan from the start, but got cut along the way during development for whatever reason. * A more rewarding tech tree for outposts - ie. mech factory and xenowarfare endgame crafting. You have to defend your outposts from invasion somehow.. * Starbase construction. * Battleship construction (or other kinds of ships too big for landing platforms) at player owned starbases/star yards. * Hangar bay mothership modules for battleships to store smaller ships - I've never been a fan of dogfighting. Let me play as a grand admiral like Commander Adama. * Starborn construction - outpost, starbase, spaceship, mothership. NG+ is in direct conflict with construction progression, which is detrimental to the overall gameplay experience. Give us a lore friendly explanation to keep (some of) our construction progress. Even some interdimentional storage like the nether chest from Minecraft would be nice. * Starborn temple construction. Depending on where the starborn lore goes, whether we learn who created the artifacts or if they decide to keep it a mystery like the dwemer disappearing, this could be an interesting end game option. Maybe even bring back spellcrafting(!).
I have no reason to believe the devs didn't already think of all of the above. The devs are smart, and it's their job to think of these things, but compromises always have to be made during development. I've listed a few points that I think would improve the Starfield experience for me personally - whether they are officially supported features, toggleable survival mode features or straight up mod candidates. Please feel free to share your own hopes and dreams! I'd love to hear how lame my dreams are compared to yours.

I would like some outside perspectives as tensions are running high and I want to be fair. I will try to keep this as objective as I can. I know I have contributed to the strife as well. There is a lot and I want to provide relevant details so a general TL;DR is at the top and shorter TL;DRs provided at beginning of long sections in the details.
General TL;DR My (28F) friend (27F) I have known for 8 years moved in with me and my BF (28M) at the end of February because she was going through a rough time and we have had nothing but animosity in the last month or two mostly due to my friend/roommate being unable to sleep at night because my BF and I are night shifters and are active at night. She was well aware of this before moving in with us. There has been multiple issues outside of the sleep issue, generally surrounding her being aggressive, or conflict avoidant and a lack of communication. Should I try to diffuse tension and let her stay, if so how? Or should I encourage her to move out asap?
Details:
Background: TL;DR: my friend moved in with my BF and I because her mental health was declining.
I 28F and my boyfriend 28M broke our lease to move into a larger apartment in order to allow my friend, now roommate, to move in to help support her as she was going through a difficult time. My roommate and her husband were living with her father in law. She also has a daughter from a previous relationship that she has during the summers. She and FIL always butted heads over things like their items in common areas, food sharing etc. When she lost her job things worsened and after multiple "cool down" trips where she would come stay with us for a few days to a week we offered to have her move in with us, we live in a different state, in an attempt to step stone her and her husband into a place of their own in a lower cost of living area. Her husband stayed behind with is father to continue working his job until they saved up enough to move together. It was done urgently as her mental health was clearly deteriorating over the years with a steep decline in recent months. I paid all moving expenses, security deposit, all of rent and utilities as this is meant to help her save money to become independent.
Now an overview of events: In the two months of her moving in we have had multiple issues that have lead to tensions being near breaking in roughly chronological order. The last, number 9, is the most significant issue.

1. TL;DR BF and I 2v1 overruled her on which apartment to get. I believe this has started a trend of her not feeling like she has control on the decisions of the apartment.

When selecting the apartment we had the option of a second floor apartment or a first floor walk out patio apartment. Initially I was in favor of the first floor as was roommate. BF was strongly opposed after seeing the apartment, citing security risks regarding the patio door, the potential of our cats escaping directly outside instead of into a hallway et. al. I was swayed to the second floor and roommate was upset that we 2 vs 1 overruled her on which apartment to get. I feel like this has set a tone of her not feeling like she has say in apartment and may be contributing to later expressions of not feeling welcome.

1. There have been numerous occasions that she had made disparaging, snarky, sarcastic, judgemental comments towards my BF. They are small enough that an individual one could be dismissed but the pattern is upsetting. It has made us hesitant to initiate conversation as half the time it ended up insulting BFs intelligence, or insinuating he is lazy. If confronted on them she gets upset and storms off to her room. This has harmed communication and thus conflict resolution.
   
2. TL;DR: She is much more aggressive with disciplining our cats than I like.
   

She has nothing positive to say about our 3 cats. She was heavy handed with the discipline of them when they would jump on the kitchen counter etc. The two kittens clearly fear her as she would swat them and if they grumbled at all she would pin them to the floor until they stopped growling or hissing, frequently yelling at them while she did this. I told her to stop and she would roll her eyes. I told her husband I was upset about her treatment of the cats and she finally stopped, but has gone so far as to not interact with the cats at all. One of the cats took a bite out of the corner of a loaf of banana bread she made, the large majority was salvageable. I stayed up late until she woke up because i was afraid she would be borderline violent with the cats if she discovered it on her own given how she displines them when its not something that directly affected her. I brought the cats into my bedroom then I messaged her about the situation she came out and slam dunked the whole loaf into the trash and proceeded to stomp around as she got ready for work and left early. I never had the opportunity to discuss this with her after the incident.

1. TL;DR: We had a mild, sort of political, argument and she left the apartment for 7 hours, returning at 1am.

We had a discussion around groceries that got rather heated. I want to support a boycott but I was not going to force that on her. She asked for an item included in the boycott, I explained the boycott and asked if she was willing to go without or switch to generic for a while, she gave a non commital answer. I bought her the item she requested. The next day she asks about the boycott and discussion quickly devolved into raised voices, I got rather defensive because i felt she had an antagonistic tone with saying things like it was too small to be effective, its mis-targeted, pointless etc. This was right before I had to leave for work so there was not time to cool down the conversation before we had to separate. My BF made a comment about a statistic regarding the boycott after I left and she snapped at him with "i'm clearly not wanted here, burn my stuff, I'm going back to (home state)" and left the apartment and did not return for 7 hours. Her husband texts me while I'm at work through the night trying to find out what happened and play moderator. I apologized for my tone the following day. I did not get an apology in return.

1. TL;DR I have tried to initiate conversation and socialization around things not related to the functioning of the apartment and it has not been productive. I encouraged her to read a book series that I love before she moved in with the intention of fostering less stressful conversation. She read it, discussed it in depth with her husband but when I asked her about it I was given short sentences with very little to build a conversation on. After she moved in I bought her the first two books of another series by the same author to try to encourage another conversation topic. I do not know if she has even read them as she has not discussed them at all and it has coincided with her retreating more and more into her room. I encouraged her to watch a TV mini series that I enjoy as well, she watched it while I was asleep and we talked about it for maybe two minutes when I woke up. She hasn't talked about tv, movies, books etc that she enjoys recently for me to be able to get into something she likes to try for that connection either. I invited her to a board game night with my friends in an effort to hang out, hopefully gain her some friends, mend tensions. We end the night early with her in a depression spiral of "I'm stupid and I ruin everything" when she lost a couple games in a row and was not connecting with the people at the event.
   
2. She removed all of her items from the common area including kitchen appliances, decor, stuff pinned to the fridge etc. This also includes her disassembling three lego potted plants we let her build out of one of our sets and leaving the pieces in a ziploc bag on the bookcase. I genuinely don't know what we did this time to offend her and she has not provided explanation beyond "I don't feel wanted in the common areas"
   
3. TL;DR: I upset her by moving her laundry and dismissing her ideas during a conversation.
   

One night while I am at work I get a message from her husband asking "how are things going, it sounds like you kinda want her out of there?" I ask why she thinks that and he cites "I threw her clothes in front of her door." I placed her clothes that were in the dryer in my hamper and placed it next to her door in the hall because I did not want to interrupt her as I could hear she was on the phone. In the morning I find my hamper upside down well into my room. I think she threw it. I genuinely do not know what I should have done as I'm sure that if I had asked her to move her items it would have been interpreted as rude and demanding. Her husband also says I dismissed her ideas during a conversation regarding summer custody of her daughter and job options for my BF (His hours have been significantly reduced, only 1-2 nights a week, and we were considering applying to other jobs). I said he may be interested in one of her suggestions but did say he was unlikely to go for the others as well as one being a long shot for him to get. Roommate also remarked if having her daughter around for longer than the summer would be too much she could work on getting a place of her own earlier than originally planned. I rather bluntly said I didn't think it was a good idea to move out before they pay off her car as i am leaving the apartment. This conversation happened right before I had to go to work for the night and there was not an opportunity to have a fully in depth conversation.
8.She is giving me the cold shoulder. I have not gotten more than a two word reply in two weeks. I say hi when she comes home from work and I get no response. I ask "what are you making?" when she is cooking and she responds with "food" etc. I'm not sure what started this one or if it's a cumulative of sleep deprivation and her not feeling welcome.

1. TL;DR: This is the biggest stressor. She is a very light sleeper and we are night shifters, she can't sleep because we make too much noise. We have tried to accommodate to an extent but we will not be silent all night like she wants as we feel this will unfairly restrict our activities during the large majority of our active hours.

My BF and I are night shifters. While my BF only works 1-2 nights a week now he maintains the night schedule throughout the week. I am usually not home as I have picked up a lot of overtime to compensate for moving to a more expensive apartment and BF's decreased hours. She knew we were night shifters and has stayed with us before in our old apartment and has experienced sleeping during our normal activity schedule well before she moved in. She is a very light sleeper. She used to use recreational marijuana to help her sleep but we live in a state where it is not legal so she has stopped since moving in. The prescription meds she had to replace it upon the move have had side effects so she has stopped taking them. I took her to the CBD dispensary in town to get her the closest thing we could legally obtain to her previous sleep aid. I bought her black out curtains. I bought her a brand new bed, on my credit card to give her promotional pricing and to get it before she got a job here. Frankly, I have been scared to provoke another conflict by telling her she owes me $40 a month now that the bill is coming due and she has a job now. I bought her sound proofing foam panels to put up in her room, they were not used, eventually after a few weeks my BF and I put them up on the living room wall that is shared with her bedroom. None of this has apparently helped. She has focused this sleep deprived anger on my BF as he is the one home most often. I am not usually home to confirm his sound level but he says he is trying to be considerate, especially when he talks to his friends through video game chats. She has thrown things at the wall, yelled/screamed "shut up" and sent some vile texts to him, the worst one below. Quote: Roommate: What part of shut up do you not get? It means stop all the noises coming out of your mouth. I have not been able to sleep ever since you fking came back and have had no respect for me and my fking sleeping schedule. How many times do I have to tell you that I'm not on my sleep meds anymore so your fking talking all fking night long is keeping me awake. Your fking voice grates on me so fking bad, just shut the fck up. Now I'm back in my mental hell all because of you. So thank you for making me a fking btch. If this is the only way to shut you up then fine by me, I'll be a grumpy btch. Shut! The! F*ck! Up!
He has gone to bed in the middle of the night numerous times in order to give her silence she desires, messing up his own sleep schedule. Two nights ago I was off work. She had not said a word to us or given any indication that she wss going to bed. We were talking at a normal volume and she threw something at the wall. We were very quiet for about half an hour to an hour to try to let her fall asleep. We started talking again. I made some popcorn, the microwave is almost the furthest point from her room so I thought it would be fine. We talked for a while then she screamed "shut up". We turned on our box fan to give some white noise and were talking in a quieter tone. She texts me to turn the fan off because it's too loud. So my BF and I just pack up and leave the apartment for a couple hours only to get a text from her husband Quote: Roommate's husband: Are you ok? (Roommate) said she couldn't sleep so I called her then next I know she's yelling shut up and you and (BF) are heading out the door
OP: We left to give her the silence she so aggressively requested.
We came back, tiptoed around and said nothing in above a whisper and haven't heard her since beyond some slamming stuff around in the kitchen when she was getting ready for work the next afternoon. We both worked the following night so she was left alone and we did errands and such to stay away from the apartment until it was time for us to go to bed.
Discussion: Clearly we are not compatible living together under the current circumstances. Is it better to try to stick it out and attempt mend the relationship so she can stay until she is more stable? Or should I encourage her to move out as soon as possible knowing it will be to her financial detriment and hope to mend the friendship after a few months of separation? I came into this wanting to help a friend I've known for years and our friendship dissolved in a matter of two months, is it worth rebuilding? How? Is it too early to call this experiment of her moving in a failure?

I receive message during the most inconvenient times of my day. Since I've been more acquainted with my true self. I've met many others that are exactly as I am.... They were too afraid of themselves, to tell someone, energetic things they notice about others. Most people now will share with me, that I am easy to open up too and they feel vulnerable enough to share private matters. Most of the time, it is about spirituality, death and relationship problems.
Why me?!
I'm not an expert at all. I know the real reasons why, but I still like to entertain myself and ask why did I choose to be placed in that person's path to relate to them. I am there to show empathy because not many have felt that level of pain and it's difficult to find someone that will listen and engage that deeply and inventively.... I'm the one that cares, because when I needed someone to be there for me when I was watching my father die a slow painful death from cancer....
No one cared about me, no one reached out to show me support.
I made it my mission as I've grown older. I'm not going to let anyone, I don't care your age, feel that defeated and abandoned. If there is a mass email of someone at work that has lost a family member or they themselves are dying. I was there to meet with them and offer a hug. I didn't know how else to allow their family member to share energy with them. They told me if I can leave them a message (their message). So I gave them either a gift I placed their energy onto it and I try to bring up God/church/prayespirit/guides/angels..... I like to write long emails.... As you can see! lol
Some have lashed out at me for not being sensitive to their religious beliefs, but I followed my path by listening to my intuition and not ignore it.
So when I am working as a cashier, preschool teacher, chef, server, mortuary assistant, behavioral health technician, music teacher.... I have met many people and helped them in some way at every one of my jobs.
Doesn't matter my profession, it mattered my location, place and time. God doesn't care what I have to do, I had to learn how to allow him to work through me, to follow my purpose and help someone else. He has always made sure the path is cleared and doors of opportunity open for me. Even when I refuse out of resentment and unfaithfulness towards his wishes. I feel a heaviness on my heart and my discernment will place racing thoughts of me completing that task. Until I obey God's plans for me, I no longer have that urge to work towards that first intent to do something about a situation. That is when I know I have followed correctly. I get a feeling of completion and satisfaction. Very positive and uplifting energy that I can thrive off of for a few days in good spirits.
God really made me talk to people. Literally made me do it. I go up and talk about God with my coworkers and the other side.

So, if you ask upperclassman this rumor about me In high school, when I started to notice my gift after my class mates passed away..... I went up to guy in band. He played trumpet, we had to share a kiss at a musical we danced together called "Oliver". I wrote him a 7 page novel about life..... I made him a nice poem and all.... I have no freaking clue why I did it, but I was forced emotionally, I had to do it and I didn't care that he let half the school read my embarrassing letter to him. I didn't have a crush or anything. I just had to tell him, he had a GIFT! It was a spiritual gift of gab. He was a class clown and I felt his depression when we danced a summer together and we never actually kissed, but I secretly fantasied we did. I never had a first kiss back then..... I was 14. The spirit's name, I never told the guy. I never really told him in my letter that I was talking to a spirit..... Well, the name is, Nancy. I don't know him that well, so I never told him. I just wrote a long letter and poem..... Lol...... Just doing God's work..... XD
Now, I notice more often, a loved one's name pop in my head before I hear the person in the room tell me their name. I really had to hold back my urge to want to pray and do my empath superpower.... When God wants me to help someone, I get that weird happy feeling, like someone is lightly touching your head and moving your hair. It feels very calming and push that feeling to them in a ball.
Suz showed me how to do this when I helped at her ghost tours. It was the last thing we offered before she ended her tour. We stand holding hands and exchange energy as she prayed us into a vortex that allowed any trapped spirits to cross over.
I'm learning now that this is actually a thing people pay for..... It's energy work.

I've been doing this as a kid hanging out in cemeteries. The spirits led me to them, to help them move on. Took me a long time to understand all of these emotions and when I didn't want to believe I am a psychic medium. I was so terrified that I had to have a mental illness or suffered something bad..... I had no idea and every doctor I went to found nothing concerning.I continue to be this way and I've accepted my calling. I've stopped pushing away the messages when I am placed to help another person communicate with someone or feel heard for their pain and convictions.
I didn't ask for this, but again, Suz reminds me that,

Ugh..... So, thinking about how to help people...... It gets very tricky.

You can have all the answers given to you, but without proper guidance, you can't just learn something overnight as easy as others. Especially the significance of the situation/lesson. Not everything is going to be handed to you on an "easy" play level. Some will be challenging, and others can be enjoyable and engaging. But the only thing is.... You must put in the energy and do the work in order to experience those emotions. You work on yourself, by paying attention to your emotions as you are doing something. Starting off, it's difficult to know what you are feeling for.....
Emotions for me were very numb and shut off. I had to work very hard on this step. Where did I get this step to begin with?! Divine guidance, spirit guide, guardian angel.... I really think it's my Dad mostly.Dad knew how much I started to hate church, so he brought it up most of the time with scriptures and adding his two cents about psychology. Why do I care again?Well, I did the work and this is how I did it...... They helped me during this process. They did most of the work getting my attention and I studied really random stuff, but it all glued together over the years.My random jobs that God leads me too are another thing....
I had to give up my dream to be something I "wanted" out of ego. Because every time I got into a position I considered in the direction towards my dream job, something went wrong and I had to start over from the drawing board. I went towards career paths that involve working with a lot of people, hospitality, customer service. It wasn't school like I thought it was going to be
When I don't want to do something and I mock it.....
That was when God made sure I went into the jobs I talked the most smack about.
He humbled me very quickly.
He told me it wasn't even about the job, it was the opportunity to meet more people. So, I went along with it. Especially during the pandemic. I had to be very creative with my time because of the lock down. I didn't want stimulus checks, I went back to work as soon as I found a job doing anything. Before I went into work, I took the time to sit in silence and give myself a pep-talk. (I started this habit in high school)
Sometimes I prayed, but it was casual, I talk towards a person or bow my head. Other times, I used vibrational music and zoned out for a few minutes and head inside.I think of the things I want to accomplish. I wasn't a people person and mornings are still a struggle to be bubbly and fake. I tell myself to work on how to be more positive. Not engage in oversharing, giving negative opinions, gossip, and work on being a better person.
I thought of being a person I wished everyone would be, if we were without hate/fealoneliness/guilt/shame/envy/etc.... Negative emotions creates a mask of a persona we think will allow us to fit in with that social crowd. With enough time, the effort to try becomes second nature and you adapted yourself into being something you're not. When you notice how you don't feel certain about yourself and how comfortable you are being "yourself". You judge others and become critical. Masking flaws in fear of rejection.
It gets confusing, but you see where I'm going with this?!
You try so hard to be so many things, you confuse yourself into not knowing who you are anymore. After so many years of adapting and learning from being around other people....You must make a conscious decision to walk away from toxic relationships and create boundaries. Shouldn't matter the person and your connection. You need to know your self worth and by doing that, you are already treating yourself better and showing self love.
Start doing things for yourself you wished that others would do for you. Why wait?Do it for yourself.I wrote a list of hobbies, places to visit, stores to explore, towns to travel too, trails to walk, movie to see, books to read, etc.... Then I would work on 1 of those items when I had the energy to mentally allow myself to try something out of my normal routine.I made those things, goals, rewards and positive reinforcement.I worked hard on my character at work, controlling my temper, calming down my behavior, learning about my body and getting checked medically. I made sure I worked on my outer appearance, as well as my center.I had to find ways to cleanse my mind from negativity, bad habits. I had to treat my body as I would a temple and be kind to it.
Not falling into my popular habits of,
Over eating, binge drinking, being hyper sexual, dwelling on past faults, self-sabotaging all opportunities....What do lonely people do in a crappy relationship they feel stuck in, but don't find a way out?!
I became everything I said I was never going to end up. I became that prediction, I made for myself and I allowed my poor habits to take me to that destination.On my sad days, laying in my dark room, curled in my bed sheets with my fur babies and lots of alcohol and junk food..... I worked on myself very slowly and it starts off gentle with what content I stopped looking at, such as snuff videos, killings, murders, crime scene investigation, horror and I just got tired of it after 2 decades. I wanted something better for myself and realized I should watch something the opposite of my past bad habits.
I started watching martial arts movies again. I would look further into the videography and watch the behind the scenes and interviews. I listen to their outlook on philosophy and the world itself. It started to reignite my perspective about life and how to fight battles from within. By using your body and understanding different forces of energy.
So, small steps towards your goals brings you out of patterns of destruction and defeat. Each step you take is one step away from the past and where you came from.
Don't allow it to dictate where you are going.
You can change that path and re-create yourself into a brighter version of who you really are and live in that state of being. Where you are content and happy with where you are in your life with no regrets or looking back into the past for any unresolved conflicts. When you can release those strong holds, that is a step in the right direction.
They have stopped talking now. I'm getting tired and I lost contact. It felt like I was getting somewhere good, but lol.... I worked way to late today. I promise more later....
I notice many people around me that are struggling and not happy for this weekend and I understand why. Many of us are missing our favorite person/people now and it's difficult to enjoy life without them. Some near me may lose their mother as we speak. And we have kept talking as this is happening. Maybe why it's sparking me to bring it up as a topic of interest tonight.
I Don't want you to forget this truth and that "they" are always there with you.
I'll be here to reassure you and help you understand the other side a little more through my stories and lessons they share with me.
I just get tired..... I wish I could write all day sometimes.

Here’s my reasoning for getting it. -We are debt free -still contributing 15% towards retirement, -contributing X amount in mutual funds for a house in the future (we are military, so our plan is for me to do a career and retire at 20 years and then buy a house outright) -despite using all but 8 months of expenses, I calculate we can save around $2-3k a month to rebuild our savings, more so after a few years after ranking up ($4-6k) -USAA has low rates for insurance -we live on base so our expenses are covered and have been living modestly -I’m in a branch where living on base doesn’t happen often, so we usually pocket extra BAH, this is our first on base housing. -I’m an Officer Candidate School graduate so I get OE pay, which means it’s the best of both pay scales -I’d like it as a gift in my early 30s -each paycheck increase I bump up our savings towards retirement and house investments -I’m military, but I’m not in a combat position nor will I ever be. I’m more of an admin / project manager that does engineering. So I don’t crossed myself dying in a war or something like that. -if I died, she’d get $500k on life insurance alone. So even if I bought it and died, she’d be taken care of. -I’d rather drive something cool while we are young than when I am old, as I think we are hitting all the checkpoints.
Yeah, I can get another Toyota, Honda or other reliable car but I don’t want that. I want to drive a car that I find really cool and she also thinks it looks cool. No one can convince me otherwise, I want to be on my death bed saying I drove something really cool in my 30s that I wanted to drive, while we are young with my wife. I am going to get a Lotus Emira after it depreciates in value in a few years. based on my projections, unless America collapses my retirement will be nice and healthcare will be paid for with the military. She also really likes the look of the car and is on board with getting it in the future.
We already have a Corolla as a family car that I do maintenance on and it’s doing great. We are a family of 3 -we live off $1,800-2,000 a month after all expenses are budgeted out (we live the Dave Ramsey principles)
She wanted me to not lease a used sports car, and wanted me to save up. I said ok let’s do it. Now she’s saying, yeah we saved up the amount of money but I don’t want to see all that go out the door. We’d go from having around $95k in savings to $20,000 This scares her, since we have to rebuild our savings. She doesn’t think spending a majority of our savings on 1 item is a good idea. I told her we aren’t 19 anymore with a newborn, we worked hard, lived frugally We went from having nothing, to building a 6 figure networth and she doesn’t want to restart. I told her that I’ve worked hard to make sure we are financially secure and stable and I do my best as an Officer in the military to make sure I’m ok.
I don’t feel as if what I’m doing is irresponsible as I’m still taking care of my family and building towards the future. I pay no income tax because I am a Washington state resident. I know that I can wait until I retire to buy a cool car, but I think I have a valid argument to do it in a few years after I save to buy it outright. I want to buy a used 2024 Lotus Emira when it’s around $70-80k. I’ve been saving and investing since 20, I’ve lived smartly with her and saved up. She’s a bit upset that it took us about 10 years to get to this point, and that’s we’d have to start over again. Even though like I said we’d have 8 months of expenses saved up, which is what she said she’d be comfortable our savings being at.
Also, because we are Washington state residents and Active military we don’t pay sales tax on vehicles so the price I see is the price I pay. (Minus registration)
She’s also a SAHM becuase of medical reasons(military medical care covers everything, no health care costs) but can potentially do remote work later this year making a few grand a month. But even if she stayed unemployed, I’ve proven I can take care of us and live happily on a single income. In addition, I’ll keep contributing and contributing and growing investments.
And no, I don’t believe it’s a midlife crisis, I just think I worked hard and did things right, and want to drive a really cool car. Life is too short, you only get one, I’m not saying YOLO, because I’m still making sure things are taken care of, and even after this purchase I think we’d still be great financially.
I’ve built up a community of close friends and family that will help us in a situation that’s out of our control like a freakin hurricane or freak accident etc.

Inspired by an old diner in my small town shutting down, what do we think about a small diner map?
Could have a seating area with booths and old menus the ghost could mess with; a foyer with an old gumball machine and a bulletin board advertising the special of the day; a small kitchen area with tons of pots and pans the ghost could throw, and maybe a small private room that would've rented out for larger parties. Maybe even a small office in the back!
Heck, maybe a small TV hung on the wall in the seating area the ghost could turn on :)
It would be a small map, like Tanglewood, though it could potentially become a medium map if you added a old walk-in freezer and maybe even a counter or bar people could have sat at :)

I am about to go to work in a warehouse that deals with powdered substances it gets absolutely everywhere and on everything. I am going to be the head office manager and I am in charge of updating the office with computers. So far the company has been run mainly on paper and they have a single chromebook for checking emails. I am planning on bringing a few computers such as a couple of Raspberry Pi 4's for bulletin boards in two of the offices, a small mini PC for the front desk to be able to view inventory and place orders mainly, and a tower for myself to keep track of the other computers, build order infrastructure, do web design, book keeping, ect. The offices are separate from the warehouse but only slightly, same building but different rooms with doors that lead directly from the offices into the warehouse.
But the point is, each of those computers will become caked in a fine powder overtime (and it probably won't take very long), what can I do to try and keep these computers from over heating? Obviously I could go around weekly and hit them with compressed air but that doesn't seem like it would be the most efficient option.
This is my first post, and the rules say to mention what I have done to try and fix the problem, but this is more a preemptive thing so the answer is really... nothing, I just plan on doing lots and lots of dusting with compressed air. I also thought about trying to find some air purifiers or something.
I really just wanted some input from real people that may have had similar problems..

Fell HARD off a longboard the other day and planted my knee into the ground. When I got up I was able to “walk” and also was able to hop back on my board and barely ride it. The next day I couldnt move it and was in crazy pain when I did a little. Its not 3 days later and im getting movement back but certain movements cause a sharp excruciating pain. I can still walk fine just cant do sudden movements. The front of me knee kinda under the knee cap is swollen but not bad. Hardly noticeable. Any idea what is wrong? Dont want to go to a Dr. unless i have to.
Edit: I can move it without pain if I use my arm or leg to assist it.

As you probably know, the Council voted to delay bike lanes on Cambridge, Broadway, and elsewhere to 2027. There are still more votes before this becomes law, so we're going to keep fighting it, and we're not giving up even if this delay finally passes.
At this point, we need to show how unpopular delaying bike lanes to 2027 is to:

• The current City Council,
• City staff who will be setting schedules, and have a lot of flexibility on when things actually get built,
• Candidates for the next election.

Hello everyone, this may be sudden, but I really wanted to write about this idea I have, and well, since I have this week off and I won't visit someone I know until tomorrow, I wanted to take advantage.
This post (I think that's how they say it) is about the Monsteverse, but not a theory or rumor, but about an idea to continue its story that occurred to me. Seeing the success of “GodzillaxKong” it is certain that it will continue, but we do not know in what form, and I wish the best future for the franchise.
Well, what I will comment below is my own vision on how to continue with these films. I know that this vision could be very dreamy and too fanciful, but it is an idea as I say, just my opinion. In any case, if you want to sit down for a while and read this, thank you very much.
I know this universe doesn't work like that, but it's the easiest way to separate them so, I think I could put “GodzillaxKong” as the last movie of this phase 1. And to start phase 2, it would be good to go back to the origins, and in this case, return with a Godzilla movie.
That said, the working title of this movie (and I know it sounds pretentious, but I couldn't think of anything better...) would be this: “Godzilla: The Power of a God.”
(Before starting the summary, I mention that there will be several invented characters for this story, since also in the Monsterverse they usually present new characters in each film)
This film would begin with a short scene where you see small scenes of a scientist and his daughter playing with their cat, and then move on to a scene where the scientist himself is on a destroyed stage, with his face screaming and crying in the air while She holds her daughter's cat tightly. In the background is Godzilla after having defeated Ghidorah.
The time is set one year after the events of GxK, with Monarch having larger discussions with various governments, mainly the European one, about the Godzilla case; since on his last “little trip” he destroyed cities in Italy, Spain and France, not to mention Egypt and Brazil.
Several politicians are fed up with the monarch's inability to handle these situations better and not providing all the information they want about the Titans. In representation of Monarch, the chief director, named Chloe (a character invented for this post), defends herself by saying they can't stop it even if they wanted to, and that she had already recommended setting up radiation centers as bait to keep Godzilla away from cities. But they ignore her and continue to blame her, as that meeting wasn't meant to criticize Monarch, but to make it clear that the leaders of those countries agreed to dissociate themselves from any form of Monarch, leaving several people in the room impressed. Then France calls to the stand the person who currently has the support of Europe to stop Godzilla once and for all, General Arthur, a rather imposing elderly man. He comments that Monarch should be dismantled and support the new plan they are putting together, getting rid of all their stupid containment centers that have done little if one of those Titans decides to awaken, and also providing them with the samples they hold of several of them. Director Chloe understands that this meeting was just a trap to discredit Monarch in front of the rest of the countries, and she only answers a few questions and provides information about the new entries to the Hollow Earth and Axis Mundi (Monarch Legacy of Monsters) until the meeting ends.
Leaving the room, Director Chloe meets her companion and old friend, Henry; an important member of Monarch's special forces. He tells her that Monarch will stop receiving funding from some countries, and they will have to improve their relationships with others since for now, they are almost powerless. Henry mentions that Monarch has become so big thanks to the absorption of APEX that they could sustain themselves for a good couple of years, although he understands the problem it will be if the government starts demanding more and more samples of the Titans. Chloe decides to think ahead and says goodbye as she gets into her car; Henry, on the other hand, heads towards a helicopter that was waiting for him, as Godzilla had been seen near Australia, seemingly lurking around. Although it turns out not to be such a serious warning since he never set foot on land and just took a nap somewhere, sending another Titan named "Titanus Leviathan" that was in those waters to sleep somewhere else. (The scene is not very long, they just look at each other, growl, and change sleeping spots, before that Leviathan just slightly nods his head before leaving) The scene ends with everyone puzzled by why Godzilla decided to fall asleep there when he already had the Roman Coliseum, ending with a joke saying that now he looks much more like a cat since they always change their sleeping spot every now and then.
A few months later, Henry was supervising the training until out of nowhere, a scientist takes him by surprise, he was exhausted for some reason. His name was Peter, and he wanted to talk to someone from Monarch soon. In the conversation, Peter starts talking wildly about how he thinks special classes should be provided on Titan anatomy since not much is known about their genetics, and as a biologist, he would like to learn more about that. He also mentions that he believes he has discovered an important detail about Godzilla's new evolution and wants to discuss it as soon as possible. Henry is completely uncomfortable and doesn't understand why he's being told about this, responding vaguely to his questions until by mistake, he learns that Peter doesn't work at Monarch and decides to kick him out. The strength difference is noticeable, and Peter can't do much to try to stay. When they are about to leave, a sudden attack occurs, unknown individuals are attacking the base in the middle of the night.
Henry puts Peter in a safe place and tries to defend the place, but he is outnumbered and ends up being knocked out, apparently the mysterious group doesn't necessarily seek to kill anyone, they just want to extract the skin samples from Godzilla that are there. Monarch defends well, but they fail to prevent their goal, and about three men escape with only one briefcase of samples. Henry tries to follow them, but when he finally catches them, the briefcase had already been loaded onto a helicopter and taken away from there. Inside the helicopter, the man who escaped hands the briefcase to General Arthur, who gives it to a mysterious scientist who was with him.
The next day, Director Chloe arrives at the base and finds it quite destroyed by the attacks, although with few civilian casualties. She meets with Henry and other members of Monarch to discuss what they will do and where the samples could have been taken; although for Chloe it is quite obvious who could have been the perpetrators, but she couldn't do anything since if she made any wrong move, they could be sanctioned for unfounded accusations. In the conversation, Peter suddenly interrupts, saying that he can mark a trail of genetic pattern that Godzilla usually emits to track the samples, surprising everyone in the room since nobody knew him and they wanted to know how on earth he got into the base. After a couple of discussions, they agree to the plan and decide to pursue their attackers quietly, in a team made up of Director Chloe, Henry, Peter, and other members of the special forces.
The trail leads them to an island near India, but upon arrival, they discover that the island was completely different from what they thought, as it was a small mechanized city entirely of the military type. They try to land in an area where they won't be detected, but it's futile; the technology of that island was so advanced that it even managed to detect Monarch's special vehicle, even with its camouflage activated. However, they were not attacked; instead, they received an invitation message to visit their facilities. Upon landing, they found themselves being greeted by General Arthur, who presents that place as the "advanced combat city" or it could also be called "Mechagodzilla City," as the most notable thing on that island were two giant towers that possessed a cannon in the center of each, this being precisely Mechagodzilla's main weapon, the proton scream, but it being improved to increase its power up to x10 times.
Everyone is impressed by the technological weaponry demonstration of the place, being comparable and even superior to that of Monarch. General Arthur explains that this is their main weapon against Godzilla, and that in a few months they plan to lure him to that place to put an end to his existence; that's where he is questioned by Director Chloe, who, although she doesn't particularly like Godzilla's presence, has come to understand that he is an important member for the natural balance of the Earth. Arthur gets angry and is tired of that speech coming from Serizawa, who seemed to care more about those creatures than human life, and he mentions that he doesn't intend to let humanity be overcome by a simple animal, that even if for Godzilla they are just ants, for him they are lives he won't allow to be lost.
Henry enters the discussion accepting that Godzilla certainly doesn't protect us, only the natural balance, but it is still very naive of him to believe that he can deal with Godzilla with two cannons that need the energy of an entire city to even function, and he asks him what he plans to do if all that fails. Arthur, expecting that question, replies that initially he planned to evacuate the place and blow everything up with three Zar bombs he received from a certain government. But in the end, he dismissed the idea, although he still had the bombs ready to be sent back; the reason he dismissed it is that he knew a scientist who provided him with a much more feasible option, proceeding to take them to him.
In another part of the facilities, everyone arrives at a large laboratory that was located beneath the entire island, meeting for the first time Dr. Honjo and his cat, which was born without an eye. There, Arthur explains that Honjo suffered the loss of a loved one during Godzilla's battle against Ghidorah, his only memory being his cat whom his son decided to protect before dying from serious injuries. Honjo begins to speak and says that his research is looking for a way to create a virus that, upon entering Godzilla, feeds on his defenses and radiation to be able to use his own power against him, and for that, they needed to steal the Godzilla sample from them. Everyone is surprised to hear that, even Arthur himself. After that revelation, the group of protagonists decides to leave the place, but Arthur prevents them, saying that he wants them to stay for a few days, as he wanted to discuss important matters with Director Chloe. Everyone refuses, but their vehicle had already been confiscated, so there weren't many options; choosing to stay, Chloe goes with Arthur while Peter stays with Honjo at his request, as he saw that he had extensive knowledge about Godzilla even without directly belonging to Monarch; on the other hand, Henry and his group go to the rooms without resistance after secretly agreeing with Chloe to investigate the place.
At night, Honjo and Peter talked about their research, with different positions regarding the need to end Godzilla; one thinking that he is a being that should not have existed in the first place and that despite being man's fault for waking him up, then man must finish what he started, while Peter thinks that like several laboratory accidents, some things should be taken advantage of to be investigated for the good of the earth, since he saw that Godzilla not only brings balance but also brings stability to the ecosystem in all ways, being helpful for the problem that humans never thought of solving. The conversation then changes to a strange plant that Honjo possessed, mentioning that his daughter studied genetics, just as he did at first, and that she liked to apply that field to recover or create extinct flowers from antiquity; that one being one of her creations for the university, in which she worked with her father. They also talk about the one-eyed cat, which was a gift from Honjo to his daughter after losing her first pet because the cat he had was a kind of genetic clone of his first cat, just with some flaws like the eye, but equally affectionate, and lately, it has been sleeping near the plant. Before finishing, Honjo tells Peter that he reminds him of Serizawa, whom he knew very well, as they both attended the same university, and that he really liked him for his daughter. Honjo says that Peter's vision of Godzilla is very similar to Serizawa's, although he always thought that the coexistence madness he mentioned in his talks was complete nonsense.
In another part of the facilities, Henry stealthily investigates the island's affairs, discovering that one of the men close to Arthur wanted to keep the Zar bombs nearby to use them against Godzilla, as this individual could be even more extremist than Arthur. However, it was also evident that he had a lot of faith in both Arthur and the cannon plan. After that, while heading to his room, he accidentally encounters a group of strange men who were near that base, but he loses them after trying to follow them for a while.

One night, Arthur, in his depression, combines Godzilla's DNA with that of the plant, which possessed cells from his daughter, as she used to put them in that plant as part of her research. A few hours later, the laboratory becomes a small jungle, and when Honjo wakes up, he sees that some sort of vine ending in a carnivorous plant-like shape was staring at him. Soldiers arrive at the place puzzled, but they are attacked and devoured by the plant. When it turns its attention to Honjo again, this time with murderous intentions due to the recent intruders, the cat stands in front of him, meowing, not as a sign of attack, but as if asking for something (like when your cat wants you to watch it eat, those darn cats). This results in the plant desisting from its attack, and the entire laboratory detaches from the rest of the island and falls into the sea, at which point Honjo and his cat were already outside.
The next day, an alert goes off on the island; it was Godzilla. It is discovered that someone had activated the bait they had to lure him without prior notice; just as Arthur was discussing with Honjo about what had happened with the laboratory and its research. Seeing the situation, he decides that there was no choice because once the bait was activated, there was no turning back since it was one of the Mechagodzilla eyes emitting the Ghidorah signal everywhere. Everyone prepares for his arrival, and when it happens, it comes in a surprising way. Just before Godzilla, a gigantic wave rises, flooding everything that would serve as a port for the troops, then a hand emerges from the bottom of the sea, followed by the head, Godzilla arrived at the scene.
By General Arthur's orders, no one attacks him, letting him walk to the bait calmly. Godzilla, not seeing any hostile actions, continues his path, and when he is about to crush the eye, the entire island goes into attack mode, pulling out cannons from everywhere and using tanks and planes to launch all the artillery at Godzilla, who receives all that damage without flinching, perhaps only the cannons hurt him, but it was minimal. A small war of Godzilla against the attack forces of the whole island begins, with a clear advantage for the king of monsters; however, that ends when they activate the proton cannons of both towers, which had finally finished charging. The power is such that it leaves Godzilla on the ground while receiving all that damage. But someone wasn't sure about that; Peter, along with the others, knew from their research that Godzilla's evolution had a reason beyond SHIMO because he himself noticed that Godzilla, even with the pain, moved his dorsal plates on purpose to receive that attack.
In a surprising move, Godzilla no longer received damage and without the need to charge, he unleashed his atomic breath at one of the tower bases, splitting it in half instantly, surprising everyone present. For the other one, he covered himself with his hands from the lightning and released his breath so that they collided in a strong impact, with Godzilla emerging victorious, as his breath pierced the other one and went through the last tower. After that, upon noticing the hostility, it was a one-sided massacre, as Godzilla began to destroy everything on the island until there was no trace of metal left in the entire place, using his nuclear pulse and his breath for that
After that, he decides to retreat and return to where he came from. Arthur was shocked, everyone was, once again, Godzilla proved to be an unstoppable force. But just at that moment, when everyone was silent, a strange group appeared surrounding them all, calling themselves the cult of the king, led by a crazy fanatic who worshipped Godzilla as the only god. They were the ones who triggered the alarm and sabotaged the cannon to delay it, although it didn't make much difference.
They only sought to eliminate the members of the island, so they had no intentions of killing Peter, Henry, or Chloe, taking them with them. Or so they would have wanted, but out of nowhere, an earthquake began to manifest, with a gigantic plant emerging from under the sea a few kilometers from the island.
Godzilla notices the earthquake and turns to see, surprised to see a strange plant emerge from the water. It felt strange, as if another one of him had appeared. Soon he meets the plant, with no intentions of attacking, but the plant does not do the same, as it extends its vines to engage in a duel, however, it is not a match, in fact, apart from its size and number of vines, it is quite vulnerable. Mainly in an orange area it had underneath it, like some kind of core.
Everyone watches the combat, until the individual who admired Arthur in his desperation and paranoia after losing the fight against Godzilla, orders to launch the three Zar bombs right at Godzilla and the Plant.
The cult takes Dr. Honjo and Arthur with the rest, boarding the ship they had stored and escaping from the place. In the battle, Godzilla was clearly having an advantage without needing to use his atomic breath, even managing to tear off a part of the plant's core with his jaws and throw it as far away as possible. And when he was about to deliver the finishing blow, the bombs hit right in the center, hitting both Godzilla and the mutant plant head-on. Everyone watches from afar as the explosion occurs, waiting for it to dissipate; however, upon regaining good vision, they see that there was no trace of any creature, considering the plant dead (if that was the case) and wondering what happened to Godzilla. But their doubts are dispelled when they see a powerful atomic breath emerge from the depths of the sea, indicating that he had survived, finally leaving the place.
The cult takes our group on the ship, believing they have things under control. But Henry had already made arrangements and they are intercepted by Monarch, who imprison all the lunatics and head to their underwater base with Arthur and Honjo.
Everything seemed calm, but something was happening in the sea. From the only part that Godzilla ripped off, it began to grow back, feeding on marine plants, merging with all kinds of plants it found, until it merged with a nearby island. The creature began to evolve, taking on a more sinister appearance and with spikes similar to those of Godzilla, now heading towards a forested area to absorb it. On its way, it encounters Titanus Leviathan, with whom it has a brief encounter where it emerges victorious after chewing its chest, but it doesn't stop there, it also infects the creature with strange vines, controlling its corpse to turn it into a slave.
At Monarch, Chloe discusses with the governments now that she had better evidence to be victorious, until they receive the signal of the conflict with Leviathan. Everyone gets into position and follows the trail, entering a strange floating island moving towards Sydney.
At one point, the island begins to flip itself before touching the ground, revealing that it was the old plant from before. Honjo sees all this from Monarch's base, naming the island "Biollante".
The conflict begins, Biollante enters the city and begins to destroy everything until it begins to absorb all the nature of the place. Other countries try to provide support, but when they approach by sea, they are attacked by Leviathan, who does not allow anyone to approach the city. Strangely, Biollante begins to grow some strange trees in the middle of the city, there were only 2, but they were much taller than the rest. Honjo and Peter discover that those "trees" were actually flowers and that they were intended to terraform the planet, starting with its atmosphere, because when they bloomed, they could contaminate all the oxygen in Australia to make it only habitable for plants like Biollante.
Taking that into account, Monarch reports that they must destroy those flowers at all costs; however, no weapon is capable of even harming that trunk; so Arthur mentions that they could use the proton cannon that was not destroyed on the island, as Monarch managed to collect remnants of what was left to take it away. (They were all on a marine ship that, not showing signs of attack, was ignored by Leviathan)
Chloe accepts the plan, but they will need to buy some time somehow, also wondering why Godzilla has not appeared until now, to which Honjo responds that it must be because Biollante is like the other Titans and if it is somehow connected to nature, being invisible to Godzilla's radar. Peter, knowing that they will need his help, decides to ask if they have the beta version of the Orca (that big ball that appeared in the MONARCH LOM series) since when he met Henry, he heard that they were mobilizing that antique just to that base to store it somewhere else. Meanwhile, Biollante notices that something is approaching with fury, and looking to see, it turns out to be the Titan Behemoth, who was there sleeping in the forests. Both start to fight and that time is taken advantage of by everyone to execute their plan; however, Biollante evolves again somehow while facing both the army and Behemoth, raising its vines with mouths to the sky, until from these mouths along with other parts of its body began to emerge horrible humanoid plants that fell from the sky, attacking the population. Henry, who was directing the way to one of the evacuation zones, comes across those things, which were able to withstand bullets and exploded if they received too much damage (similar to the plant zombie from Resident Evil 2 remake). In the end, he manages to escape from those things with some people in an aerial vehicle, but decides to go to the ship to help evacuate Chloe and Peter.
On Monarch's aircraft carrier, they activate the cannon at the same time as the Orca beta, knowing that Leviathan will come for them, evacuating accordingly while other ships attack Leviathan. Unfortunately, the proton cannon is not enough to pierce the hard trunk, but in an unexpected twist, Behemoth notices what they are trying to do and uses its arms to finally manage to cut the trunk.
On the ship, Leviathan had already approached and began to destroy it, almost killing Peter, who wanted to amplify the Orca signal, being ultimately saved by Henry, who, helping him, ends up falling into the sea along with the giant sphere that will attract Godzilla.
As they emerge from the water, they come face to face with Leviathan, as he was just holding onto the sphere. But a roar is heard, and looking to see, they see that Godzilla had finally arrived at the scene. Godzilla is puzzled, but decides to confront Leviathan, ultimately splitting him in half with his atomic breath.
On land, Behemoth suffered the consequences of having enraged Biollante, who with his jaws tears off one of his horns and stabs it into his stomach. About to deliver the final blow, a piece of Leviathan gets in the way, seeing that it was Godzilla who threw it
Now both embark on the final battle, ramming each other and causing earthquakes in their wake just by moving; despite the difference in size, Godzilla manages to push Biollante, who defends himself mainly with his tendrils and jaws, trying to strangle him while Godzilla tears each vine so that he is not completely covered. However, Biollante begins to change again, releasing a strange acid on Godzilla, which seems to do nothing more than annoy him, but gradually begins to weaken in the fight. Honjo deduces that this acid was the virus he was creating and that apparently Biollante managed to finish it inside his own body.
With Godzilla weak, Biollante begins to open its jaws, using its tendrils to swallow him, but Godzilla, in a surge of adrenaline, uses his nuclear pulse to remove some tendrils from his mouth and launch an atomic breath inside Biollante, a breath that pierces its skin until it exits through a different side, destroying half of its face and part of its core. Although that seems to have been Godzilla's last attack, as he falls weak to the ground without any trace of being able to move. At that moment, an enraged Biollante begins to drop several buildings on Godzilla, leaving him more immobilized than he already was. Then he heads towards his fallen flower and begins to absorb it, until half of his body deforms to show a horrifying version of itself, preparing to kill Godzilla.
Peter sees this from the aerial vehicle where he was, and reveals to everyone what he had discovered. That Godzilla's evolution was more than just for fighting, but it was also for his body to be able to remain stable since in his last appearances he was releasing a lot of energy for some reason, and that was because his body wanted to expel the power he had left from the battle with Ghidorah. (In summary, as I saw that some people said that Godzilla had suddenly become stronger since GvsK, well here I give a small justification, saying that he still retained part of the power of the burning state, and that his previous body was not able to expel)

Godzilla begins to overheat his body while Biollante absorbs the trunk. Any biological trace that did not belong to his body began to be eliminated, recovering from the virus and starting to charge his dorsal plates, going from pink to blue and then to an intense orange with small rays, and so with the next scale, and the next one; until it lights up completely. Biollante finishes absorbing and launches itself to attack him, giving him a strong blow, but Godzilla does not flinch and responds by pushing him away with his tail, and now unable to withstand the power in his mouth, he releases everything in a powerful atomic breath, orange in color and surrounded by a couple of spiral-shaped rays.
The breath collides with Biollante, piercing its body instantly and continuing its path until it impacts with the remaining flower trunk, which was about to open. The breath becomes more powerful each time until it pierces the trunk in the same way and what was beyond, now Godzilla raises his jaw to destroy the entire flower completely and being so powerful the breath that it divides the clouds above (as a reference to Saitama's final blow to Boros, although on a smaller scale, being only the clouds of the city)
Godzilla emerges victorious, but without yet giving a roar to the air, as his body tenses and refers to the Heisei era pose when he walked. All the armies of different countries saw what happened, and as Godzilla walked back into the sea, they could do nothing more than drop their weapons in a sign that they could not do anything, accepting that he was the most powerful being on the planet.
Honjo manages to see that and reflects on his conversation with Serizawa, understanding that perhaps he could have meant that humanity had to coexist, not out of a kind feeling or something like that, but because there was no other way they could survive "that". Maybe Serizawa didn't prefer the Titans over humanity, but he wanted at all costs to survive and that's why he kept giving the coexistence message until the end of his days.
The rest watch in amazement as Godzilla managed to finish what they could only do by joining forces with Behemoth, who returned to the forest to recover from his wounds. They all remember in their minds the cult fanatic, who always looked at him as a god, because she wasn't so wrong apparently
In the end, Godzilla walks into the sea, turning to see for the last time the creature that could have been the only specimen like him in the whole world, finally releasing a loud roar as the sun sets behind him, ending the movie.
Well, seriously apologize for so much text, I really tried to shorten it as much as I could from what I had in my head, and still I don't think I explained several points. But for now I'll leave it like this.

PSDT: An important detail that I forgot to mention is that Peter is actually the son of the doctor who always accompanied Serizawa, Vivienne Graham. That's why during the conversation where Peter interrupts, Director Chloe recognizes his last name and lets him stay because of the affection she had for Dr. Graham.

Context: Illinois public school district
There are special education students who have behavior plans and who still have behaviors that would earn a typical peer a suspension.
It is our practice to hold a manifestation meeting when we hit ten days of suspension and determine if an adjustment to the BIP is needed. This is all standard.
My question is this. After those ten days, we break down the behaviors that led the student to be suspended and then continue to suspend the student for those behaviors until the single behavior causes ten total days of suspension.
Example second grade boy gets ten suspensions of one day length: 2 for Language/threats 4 for Property destruction 4 for physical aggression toward staff Hold manifestation determination and we agree that part of his disability (Autism) is that he makes these behaviors when overwhelmed. Behavior plan says to give multiple schedule breaks and to allow student access to a calming corner without adult verbal demands.
Same boy destroys a bulletin board and gets suspended another day because he has only had four previous days for this behavior.
Is this how your districts interpret the law? I had always thought that total of ten days suspension was a change of placement and that is why the manifestation meeting was to occur before an eleventh day could be added. Help!?

I wanted to first say thank you to everyone who participated in my study! Thank you so much for all the interest and engagement is really meant a lot to me and helped me with this project.
Second, while I had originally promised to post the full paper in April, I found out recently that I cannot publish my paper online until July of 2024. This is because my paper was submitted to College Board for grading, and they technically own my paper until July once my score has been released. So, for everyone who has been waiting to see the paper, I am very sorry, but it looks like you will have to wait another 2 months.
However, I was allowed to share my results and overall conclusions from my research. With that being said, I would like to introduce a little bit of my research and my findings to you all! Additionally, I have attached some of my charts and graphs to this post so that you all can see parts of my data.

Research Overview My research goal was to determine the correlation between Player Satisfaction and Success in Destiny 2. Using a survey which I personally created and other data from Bungie and Steam charts I was able to determine the correlation between them. My survey data was not as impactful as I had originally intended for it to be. While I had so much amazing data and it was all impactful, when it came down to my research question, I couldn't find a good use for the data because the question my research was aiming to answer was simply "is there a correlation?". While much of the data is included in my paper, there are only select parts that help prove any type of correlation. So, when it comes down to reading my paper that might be apparent and some things might not be relevant to the conclusion, but I did really want to include my survey data because I was very proud of my whole process of collection and analysis. I gathered a total of 635 responses which was amazing, I only excluded 4 responses for the final analysis, leaving me with 631 reliable responses. I analyzed each question turning them into charts and then determining the significance. It was a super time-consuming process, but ultimately, I think my most interesting data was the data on what areas of the game needed to be updated according to players. I had 22 categories which split up this free response question. You can see it in "CHART 7". The results are all color-coded so it's a mess of colors. I would love to further explain the categories and results but am a little worried that I am overstepping the barrier set by College Board and my teacher (I cannot share direct content from my paper and while I would explain I am scared. I am not allowed to use the same wording and other things so yea sorry about that). It is well explained in my paper so once I have access again you will be able to see it posted.
Result I determined my result/correlation by taking a few charts and comparing them to data from Steam Charts and data I found posted on Destiny Bulletin on X (twitter). I found that there was a trend in which player populations decrease during the seasonal content in Destiny 2 and increase during the expansions. My chart which asked, "Do you plan to play final shape?" helped prove this trend to be correct (implying it repeats yearly) because 83% of players said they would be playing it. I go into more detail in my paper obviously but to keep it a little shorter here, I found that there was a positive correlation between Destiny 2 Player Satisfaction and Success. While I cannot directly say they affect one another (because that would require more research in order to claim that as fact), it basically implies that the relationship is positive (so i like to believe they do affect one another in certain aspects).
This whole process was a huge learning experience for me, and this project was super fun for me to work on. I would love to share my final work with you all once I am allowed too, after scores have been released. Look forward to that if you would like to read my final work! Outlines Concerns Regarding the Company’s Current Strategy and Board Composition and Offers Superior Paths to Improving Performance and Market Penetration
GENEVA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Lucien Selce, who owns approximately 2.2% of the outstanding shares of Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc. ( AUPH ) (“Aurinia” or the “Company”), today issued the following letter to Aurinia shareholders:

Fellow Shareholders,
As a shareholder of Aurinia since 2020, I have grown increasingly worried about the Company’s trajectory and am disappointed in the Board of Directors’ (the “Board”) actions. This is why I now feel dutybound to publicly share my concerns and ideas for improving the Company.
In recent years, Aurinia has faced challenges in effectively penetrating the market with its flagship drug, Lupkynis. With CEO and director Peter Greenleaf at the helm, the Board has struggled to implement successful strategies to enhance market penetration and shareholder value. I believe that the composition of the Board and the excessive number of directors sitting on it are holding Aurinia back from achieving its full potential. In my view, the Board’s size should be reduced to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. All directors with merger and acquisition-related or research experience should be removed. Shareholders have clearly lost faith in the ability of this Board to deliver results.
The Company’s recent Q1 2024 earnings release and accompanying call did little to appease our concerns. Although we noted the small “beat” in revenues and management’s forecast that Aurinia will be cash flow positive in Q2 2024 instead of H2 2024, we also note that most of the revenue growth stems from pre-existing clients re-enrolling for treatment instead of new clients’ enrollment.
Key failures of the current Board include:

1. The Board severely mishandled the communication of its dead-end strategic review, which resulted in investors fleeing the stock. The Board’s communication in this regard seemed designed to destroy Aurinia’s share price. The message was essentially that the Company has no desirability for any industry actor as a potential buyer. The Company’s February 15, 2024 press release alluded, unnecessarily, to a failed 2018 sale process. There is no rational explanation for this inept communication other than possibly allowing management to grant itself Restricted Stock Units (“RSUs”) on the cheap.
   
2. The Board currently has an excessive number of directors who lack relevant skills and much-needed objectivity, compromising its efficiency and effectiveness.
   
3. Dr. Robert Foster was appointed to the Board at the urging of MKT Capital to ensure a comprehensive and fair strategic review. Dr. Foster was not meant to stay on after the conclusion of the strategic review. It appears to me that Mr. Greenleaf’s motivation for keeping him on the Board is exclusively linked to the cooperation agreement between Aurinia and MKT Capital. Under this agreement, MKT Capital is not allowed to disparage or otherwise publicly dissent with the Company’s management. By remaining on the Board, Dr. Foster has betrayed MKT Capital – and is being financially rewarded by Aurinia for doing so.
   
4. The two latest additions to the Board, Jeffrey Bailey and Dr. Karen Smith, who were originally praised by Mr. Greenleaf for their M&A experience and achievements, no longer possess relevant skillsets now that the strategic review has ended.
   
5. Chair Daniel Billen’s close ties with Mr. Greenleaf raise concerns about his impartiality and increase the risk of repetition of past failures.
   
6. The Board has failed to effectively oversee Mr. Greenleaf and a value-enhancing strategy for Aurinia. Mr. Greenleaf's five-year tenure as CEO has been marked by repeated drug failures. After failing to deliver substantial market penetration for Lupkynis, he purchased Aur200 and Aur300, touting them as transformational for Aurinia. As a result, the Board granted Mr. Greenleaf options and RSUs for building a pipeline, only for him to kill this pipeline after Aur200 and Aur300 received Investigational New Drug applications from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. With a single stroke, the Board transformed Aurinia into a one-trick pony. The Board then shifted the Company’s focus to potential future pipeline acquisitions while simultaneously announcing a $150 million share buyback.
   
7. The Board has rewarded Mr. Greenleaf with RSUs despite lackluster performance. I believe it is imperative that Mr. Greenleaf be removed from the Board to ensure boardroom independence, while remaining as CEO. Clear objectives for market penetration must be set, with no more options or RSUs granted unless targets are achieved.
   

Clearly, Aurinia’s Board is mired in contradictions and conflict of interest. In my view, the Board should immediately take the following actions to improve its independence and enable it to oversee management more effectively for the benefit of all Aurinia shareholders:

1. Restructure the Board and reduce its size from nine directors to five directors. The ideal Board should comprise an independent Chair, one large shareholder representative (in this respect, it is logical that long-standing, top investor ILJIN SNT Co., Ltd. (“ILJIN”) nominate someone), one small shareholder representative and another independent director.
   
2. Link management’s compensation to fulfilling quantitative revenue goals set by an independent Board. Clear objectives for market penetration must be set, with no more options or RSUs granted unless targets are achieved. The current management “entrenchment” package recently issued in the amended annual report should be rejected.

The upcoming Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (the “Annual Meeting”) will serve as an opportunity for shareholders to vote for a reduced Board that is committed to effective market penetration strategies and shareholder value enhancement.
We urge the Board to embrace the solutions we have proposed to improve Aurinia’s performance, governance and go-forward strategy.
