Graves ranter makes a comeback with an funny build

As a person who has rant Graves on this sub and got criticized hard, I would say that after I modified his build a little bit, I have achieved great success with him. In my (new) opinion, he is overall a balanced champion, a bit underpowered compared to other bursty assassin. However, with my new build, no other champion can compete well unless you mess up with your grit stack or your team feed the enemy vayne/tryn/yi too hard.
Disclaimer!
I peaked Diamond 1 last season, and I don't have time to grind over this elo. You can safely ignore this post because I am not that good of a player (Yes, that's why I rant him some months ago).
With that being said, welcome to League of Oneshot: Wild Rift Graves build.
Overview:
He will be a great blind pick other than pantheon. Make sure to ban evelynn (hard counter) or lillia (she used to be on the equal side with him, now she is too op) or Tryn(his ult is a big f u button).
This post will mainly discuss his power in the jungle role, I will not recommend you guy play him top lane since he have mana problem and most meta toplaner can bully you (Sett, Darius, Malphite) Match up:
Good matchup: Jarvan (escape J4's wall with ult), Olaf (Kiting), Kayn (if he somehow doesn fed, also you bully him early game), Mundo (Kiting, Graves's punching bag), Pantheon (Kiting, counter Pan's R with smokebomb)
Build (Image show my main build):
You can have three build with him: BruiseTank (viable), Crit (recommended), and Assassin (if you great with going in and out) My most-of-the-time build will be: Black Cleaver, AMR boot, BT, IE, Iceborn Gauntlet/Maw (choose which item first depending on the fed enemy).
You can pick whichever enchant you want, stasis is best for predictable damage dodge (Fizz, Zed, Vex), Protobelt for gap close/slippery enemy (Vayne, Lee).
So my build basically being half crit, half tank, if your enemy heals a lot then you can swap IE for mortal reminder, however, BC already do the armor shred job for you.
BC first item allows you to kite the enemy early in the game + some armor pen + health. The trade off with this is you will need teamate to help you take the first objective fast. Note: You must take Phage first for the movement speed and make sure to buy BC before objective spawn
Then you go for AMR depend on the damage source, if the enemy have 3AD/2AP or vice versa, choose MR boot then go for gauntlet (because MR boot reduce magic damage by percent, which ignore the magic pen of all AP items)
BT has always worked well with Graves for ages. However, the IE interaction buff with Graves in this patch was mostly overlooked. Build this item make graves crit jump from 600 damage (by the time you build BT) to a whopping 1.1k!
Surprise! Iceborn Gaunlet make it to here, Graves E give him armor, IG does more damage with more armor with a bigger slow area. Why not building this items? Assassin gonna cry after you build this, or you could delay IE power spike to take IG if your team already have someone carrying, so you can tank some more damage.
Maw is maw, even Evelynn is scared of this item. Take this first instead of IG if the magic-damage enemy is fed.
Flash and Smite, of course.
Runes:
Graves has always been a pretty versatile champion with many keystone runes which are compatible for him. Those are: Electrocute, Fleet, Conqueror, Phase Rush, PtA (Empowerment)
The build I presented above lack some early damage, that's why I use Electrocute to compensate for it.
My runes build: Electrocute, gathering storm, giant slayer, legend tenacity and overgrowth.
Modification: hard matchup -> take brutal, no enemy tank/bruiser -> take last stand, no enemy deadly cc -> take attack speed, 3 tanks/2 heavy tank (like sion, mundo, sett) -> take conqueror
At the end of the day...
Your job is NOT doing damage, rather than survive the enemy, compete objective and strike back as hard as they did to you. Farm over gank, unless the enemy is too overextended. Your gank is bad; the best thing you can do is show up to scare the enemy or walk up from the back and when they start fighting, use your dash to dodge.
And, please hug the wall, they are your best friend for your Q (fast big damage), E (jump scare enemy and escape) and R (escape by recoil into the wall)
AND, your W is not useless as you think, yes I know it can only mute adc for just about 0.5 second but it prevent any targeting ability from hit you (Pantheon stun, Yi Q, Veigar R), and 0.5 sec means alot with your shotgun.
There are many more tips if you want to master Graves, such as keep your Grit stacked before the first Scuttle spawn, aim with your Q, "unlocked" animation where your Q and W is cast instantly, auto reset, combo your ability to go in and out.

The plan I have in mind is to do the following:

Power wash it first, will try to use medium level pressure
To use a hydrochloric acid based cleaning solution (HCl, 15-20%)
Replace cracked bricks
Repoint the rest

I have never done any brick work, so will be doing research on those topics. So please do share useful videos and articles or general advice.
A few questions regarding the brick problems, please:

Why would certain bricks crack that badly?
Why is it coming apart like a layered cake?
What would be the best way to work on that large gap where the walls are holding together?

2024.06.01 13:51 cutelibrehab Pride Month is about activism!

I have always had this view that Pride Month is more about activism than anything else. It's a celebration of everything we got due to all the activists who sacrificed everything for us to get here. I held that view way back before I accepted myself as bi/pan (thanks to all the cute femboys out there! <3<3<3) and I still hold it to this day.
I think everyone will connect with Pride Month more if we got ourselves presents f3lan. Or if we helped each other a bit more during Pride Month.
I certainly try to lend my ears more to all the lonely queer guys/gals (and all the cuties in between) during Pride Month. Help each other get jobs, help each other in school/college, etc. It's a community thing. If we just helped each other a bit more, we can make life here a bit less difficult and a bit less lonely.
That's all I have to say about Pride Month. I hope everyone eats some gay cakes! Have fun!

Hello body of informed Internet strangers. I've got a dumpy late model aveo, running this thing until the wheels come off. Generally it has been ok considering the love and attention it doesn't get. Been hearing a clinking noise from rear passenger side. Looking in the trunk and I see this rod poking through. It must have busted through the trunk pan and I'm impressed it is not shattered. What broke? 2011 Chevy aveo sedan lt.

2024.06.01 11:40 Excellent_Zebra_8596 Updated to GK Kobe 5/6 (2024) BRUTALLY HONEST UPDATE

I really hate to do this but after a solid 6+ months accumulated in reps…I regret to let everyone reading this know that I have given my pairs away with some major warnings.
LONG STORY SHORT: reps are good for casual play/wear but for my individual case, I am done with reps unless the things I detail get an update.
LONG STORY LONG, read on:
For starters I am a 5’10”, 210 pound basketball player and I am focusing on dunking right now.
I came across reps because I love Kobe 5 and 6 protros for dunking and basketball in general and was trying to not pay resale for more. I have retail pairs of Grinches, Reverse Grinches, Alternate Bruce Lees and Chaos 5s.
I bought KW GK 6’s in the Grinch colorway and KW GK 5’s in the PJ Tucker PE colorway both around the fall of last year. When I first received them I was blown away at the looks. 10/10 for sure. I could only tell the Grinches were reps when I literally held them next to each other. The heel countecup is also weirdly different under a black light but I’ll get to that. No one is ever looking at your shoes under a black light and my gripe is with performance. PJ Tuckers were also 10/10. No retail pair to compare to.
As a hooper I rotate my shoes already and the shoes listed were rotated literally every session (I’m a little OCD lol). Traction on all the listed shoes has been 9-10 out of 10. I play on mostly clean courts and I also lift in my shoes.
I was happy with my purchases until one day I started having a weird phenomenon and I admit it may be mental…I was simply underperforming every time I put the reps on. Both pairs. I follow a strict training program and weekly I test my vertical jump to measure progress. I test running and standing with a vertec. In the reps I literally don’t jump as high, and for someone like me that is a dealbreaker.
Not done yet though. Like I said, I was happy with my reps until I started noticing things, and that wasn’t the only thing I noticed. If you have a retail pair of 6’s, squeeze the heel cups. They’re pretty tough. On the GK 6’s, I could almost touch the heel cup together. I suspect that is the reason I wasn’t jumping as high in them. It also presents an inherent safety issue when playing, because that heel counter NEEDS to do its job. I simply can’t perform at 100% if I don’t trust my shoes. The GK 5’s aren’t safe here either! The heel cup isn’t bad, but my “zoom bag” flattened out in one shoe after a while. Nothing happened. I literally just put the shoes on and one of them just felt dull.
Some other not-as-important things—traction was supreme on all shoes but the paint on my grinches chipped away after only about a month of usage and keep in mind I rotate my shoes. The PJ Tuckers didn’t do that.
For the record I did give each pair of reps another few sessions to see if what I found was a fluke. It wasn’t. Wearing retails I just felt more safe and therefore was able to perform.
If you made it this far I really am sorry to say this all. If you are a casual hooper or wear your shoes just to rock them (I don’t), you will likely be fine with reps, especially if you have a rotation. However in my case as a bigger, very explosive athlete who relies heavily on confidence in his shoes, the heel counter problem on the 6’s and my zoom bag or whatever is in the rep 5’s flattening out have completely turned me off to the rep game. Thankfully I can afford resale and my retail pairs have held up nicely. But I’m out of the rep game until they improve either their QC or their products in general.

Apologies if this inappropriate for the sub.
Right now, I’ve realized I’ve gained weight from heartburn meds that was caused by my coffee consumption, and everything I’ve been eating is just soaked in seed oils
At the moment I have chocolate rice cakes and frozen breaded chicken with seed oils that I have to make use of so I don’t waste my money, but for the the time being I need to make a list of food to help me lose weight and reduce my seed oil consumption.
In general I’m look for food I can make in bulk and store in the freezer, or foods that are generally simple to cook in bulk
Right now my list of foods at home are
Rice Chicken Cheese Tortillas (not a fan of bread anymore) Frozen berry mixes: Strawberry Blueberry Raspberry Cherries Bananas Oats Milk Yoghurt Peas Carrots
See how small it is. I’m gonna get tired of it very quickly. I had bad experiences it with spoiled beef, I don’t like pork, fish is too expensive. My plan was to eat 1 rice cake per day, half a chicken thigh with rice and vegetables, a cup of oats with milk, and then some berries. Should add up to around 1500-1800 calories and my maintenance is 2000. My current food consumption has been over 2500 cals and I’m only 20 so I know I’m eating too much with the obvious weight gain. But I have no doubt my old diet of sauces laced with seed oils, drinks (yes drinks), cereals, breads, etc literally everyone was oily, with bad oils, had caused some issues.

When I decided to take up reloading my own ammunition, I knew I needed a reliable and efficient set of dies. That's when I stumbled upon the Lee Precision Carbide 4 Die Set. I was immediately attracted to its four-die set, which included a carbide sizing die, a bullet seating die, a powder thru expanding die, and a carbide factory crimp die. The set is perfect for effectively and efficiently reusing my ammunition.
One of the things that stood out to me was the air-tight, low profile box that the dies come in. It keeps the dies organized and preserved, so they're always ready to use. The dies themselves are high quality and easy to set up, ensuring a smooth and efficient reloading process.
However, there were a few drawbacks. The instructions could be clearer at times, and I found that I needed to thoroughly clean the dies with lacquer thinner to ensure accurate adjustments and prevent any issues with powder flow. Quack grass. I had no idea what the hell it was until I moved to south carolina. If an atomic bomb went off and decimated all life quack grass and cockroaches would survive, no doubt about it. Quack grass is the biggest pain in the ass I have ever encountered...well bamboo would be a close 2nd.
Quack grass looks like this ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️. There is next to nothing you can do to get rid of it. If it hides underneath rocks or bricks or edging. My friend bought a home that was easily neglected for 20 years the quackgrasd was so thick with the runners and rhizomes that when we got it I'm a four foot strip by 9 inches wide it was nearly a hardened 10 inches thick and weighed around 45 pounds.
You can't simply pull it out. Don't do it don't do it. This requires an art and even this has error. I found that if any piece particle or molecule of this plant is left behind it just spawns another assh*le plant. These plants also have a throwing arm. It grows a branch off of its main body long loooooong arm, grows easily a foot in one day and it will pitch itself into a garden bed eventually landing on the ground. Then it's little hell spawn easily take out their concrete jack roots and have no problem compromising the hardest pickaxe like soil. The driest part of my yard robbed of due to the property water that strips this area of the nutrients the other parts enjoy, is no problem for quack grass. Hydrophobic soil on this end of my yard not too lousy for the population of this parasite.
So there has been only two ways to kill this sucker that I have been able to find. It has been years in the making. Trying out different methods and there are only small periods of time when it works. These plants adore the hottest places of your yard. The black stepping stones or bricks in the boundary. Stepping stones. Concrete patio pads. Underneath sidewalks. It will burrow under these things and develop its root system underneath. It seems to be its preference. It enjoys 6 or more hours of sunlight. It's roots grow horizontally but also vertically. The vertical roots look jagged and zig zag enhancing their ability to be broken into zombie particles that grow many from the pieces.they have little cross wires that sprout up multiple plants. They go deep and wide and you just can't extract them.. impossible.
So I got a flame thrower and a propane tank..its not a flame thrower but it has a long shift with a fitting that blows fire out of its tip. People in the last few years in appropriate areas with ample rain (not in fire prone areas) and using tons of precautionary measures taken yoy take yoyr torch and you can essentially cook them alive. After a week it will die like it does for winter months. This is when you dig the soil up around it flip the soil and you burn the under side also the cavity where the soil was extracted. Then wait two weeks. Do this same treatment for any emerging ones and repeat. When you are satisfied the next plan of attack is to get a kill all. Saturate this plant at highest sun, during the day on especially hot days. Saturate them. Try to be careful to not afflict the neighboring plant life. Kill all works by saturating the exposed parts these go into the plants cells and stops them from being able to absorb water and nutrients. Even so I have seen some think themselves into existence..
You could remove the soil down to 16 inches in the area they have been spotted and if any cement or bricks heat absorbing material is around dig it up and set aside..it loves rocks.. you get rid of this dirt. Comdem it. Or solar sanitize the dirt..put it in wet black garbage bag for an entire.summer in the hot sun. I'd triple bag it because these weeds are survivors. I would also use a junk cake pan to cook the soil over a bonfire for a few minutes. Larger piece of metal will work to stream lime the process. Male sure the center if the soil reaches 220 degrees. Adding water to the soil will definitely going to aid in steaming it dead don't saturate but squirt bottle wetting while it is cooking .them.you want to screen the soil. Get any parts out of the soil and throw in burn barrel or fire pit.
The best method also kills your lawn grass but has really controlled the problem..I used kill all and before it could really emerge I saturated it and the area surrounding it with kill all. I sprayed any area I could remember it being.. it went down by 80% yet it has those underground channels and arms so it doesn't always afflict the entire plant. A surfactant ingredient (make sure it is safe to do so with your specific product) surfactants emulsify the poision and they adhere more to the plant..where it runs into the ground or evaporates quickly. Adding a surfactant can keep that demon weed choked out a little longer.
Does anyone else have any success with this terror? I'd take a lawn of regular bushy crabgrass over this any day. A lawn of dandelions would be a godsend over any of this type of parasitic grass. I wonder if taking a tazer to the plant would kill it. I mean it is worth a try no? This weed can be cooked by a torch flame thrower burned to a crisp, the soil underneath can be cooked to a good 375 degrees in a matter of seconds, and by some ungodly supernatural miracle from hell this weed can will itself into existence off of a parboiled sandgrain particle of itself. I dare say I found something besides a tumor that can be of organic biological materials that doesn't really die? It's top bad it isn't a delicious food that could be sent to the most barren and inhospitable locations on the planet where people are starving to death and we could change their lives with this plant.
Quack grass will be one of those plants that will be one of the major considerations before buying my next house. That is just how bad it is. I bet if it grows along the foundation of a home it is also doing damage to the foundation. This is almost like the habit of the plant, it's very nature is to find the fractures and weak spots and overgrow and stuff as many roots as possible through it until it crumbles.
I haven't seen much in terms of experimentation with this parasite plant but I imagine there are a lot of qualities that could be exploited for our benefit. I donr know it's full range but there are qualities of this plant that could help on a lot of applications. Erosion, it would be more than ideal it has almost a rebar kind of root system and it just keeps sending.more and more roots along these pathways. Nit breaking u9 the soil but holding it in place. It is the ugliest looking plant there has wver been.
Any ideas on what I could do? The spring poisioning worked better than anything this far. The burning seems to have eliminated new emergent particles I will know more as the time.goes on.
Any experts on this type of quack grass? Can i kill it without killing the good plants or good grass?

I noticed the official Discord for this sub has identity roles for trixic, toric, bi, aro, and ace.
I most identify with pan, because I have a nonbinary partner who's pan.
I am aware of the "only LGB is valid" camp that doesn't believe in newer and more niche orientations being coined online recently. So I chose "bi" and was ready to go along with that.
But, because there were even more new and specific orientations than pan (trixic and toric), I thought maybe there was an exception for nonbinary-affirming orientations. So I respectfully asked if the omission of "pan" was intentional.
Two members told me that "pan" unnecessary and too PC, which didn't match my understanding of tru politics. And that "bi and pan are the same", which felt oddly nonbinary-invalidating for a nonbinary group.
Please note the flair is "Venting" and not "Discussion". I already spent way too much time and emotional energy on this and don't have any energy left for debate. All I want to know is if it accurately reflects the general philosophy of truNB or not so I know if I should leave the sub as well as the Discord.
