Call of the Netherdeep is a module that takes place in Critical Role’s world of Exandria, but no prior knowledge about Critical Role or Exandria is needed. It’s a roleplay heavy campaign that won’t be static, meaning a lot of traveling will take place throughout the story as you’ll be traveling from A to B to C, etc. However, we won’t be playing Call of the Netherdeep exactly as written, there’ll be a pre-adventure that consists of a shorter story where all the characters meet starting at level 1 which will lead into the campaign proper.
In addition, I’ll be rewriting and molding a lot of the module to become a more character driven and focused story, so how it’ll be changed depends entirely on the different character backstories, the players, and the actions that’ll be made throughout.
The campaign will take the characters from 1st-level to 12th-level, but if the entire group wants to, it may stretch beyond the end of the module into a complete homebrew story that focuses entirely on the characters.
The story will include the following themes; corruption, redemption, if forgiveness is earned or not, emotional and mental trauma, despair, underwater exploration (sometimes in very tight quarters), and body disfigurement.
The group use Discord for voice and video (video is not mandatory), use Roll20 for battlemaps, and we stream Spotify for music.

We’re a group of committed players who like to immerse ourselves in the world and the story being told. Leaning into roleplay whenever possible, but we aren’t all serious, we also throw goofy jokes around and like to have a laugh with one another. Some of us are somewhat new to D&D, others aren’t, but we’re all very welcoming towards newer players. The group often talk and play party games outside of session time to grow closer with one another. The ages of the group range from 20 - 29, and we have a mix of all genders so everybody can feel welcome.

56 percent of Africa’s millionaires and over 90 percent of its billionaires lived in just five countries in 2023 – South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya and Morocco, according to The Africa Wealth Report 2024 published by Henley & Partners and New World Wealth. There were 135,200 people who owned wealth of 1 million U.S. dollars or more living in the continent that year, as well as 342 centi-millionaires and 21 billionaires, Statista reports.
As the following chart shows, South Africa had the highest number of so-called high net worth individuals (HNWIs) with 37,400 millionaires, 102 centi-millionaires and 5 billionaires. It was followed by Egypt with 15,600 millionaires, 52 centi-millionaires and 7 billionaires, while Nigeria placed 3rd on the continent with 8,226 HNWIs. My Blood Covenant Salvation Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. I believe You love me and sent Your Son to remove the sin which separates me from You. Father, I repent of all sin in my life. Please forgive me and cleanse me by the blood of Jesus Christ. By faith, I receive Your forgiveness and cleansing in Jesus’ name. Your Word says I am brought near to You by the blood of Jesus Christ, through which I enter into blood covenant salvation relationship with You now. Lord Jesus, I invite You to come into my life, and I submit totally to You and to Your Word (John 14:23). I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. I believe in my heart God raised Him from the dead. It is with my heart I believe and am justified, and it is with my mouth I confess and am saved (Rom.10:9-10). I ask You to be Lord of my spirit, my soul (mind, thoughts, will, intellect, and emotions), and my body (I Thess.5:23). You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in me (Phil 1:6). By faith, I confess sin shall no longer have dominion over me because your Holy Spirit lives in me. I confess I am saved. I am under covenant through Jesus Christ to receive the promises that are for me including salvation, deliverance, healing, renewal, and all God’s promises for His children. I renounce the authority of Satan or any authority other than Jesus Christ over all areas of my life. You promised to give us power to be Your witnesses even to the ends of the earth. This wonderful promise was fulfilled at the Feast of Pentecost in Jerusalem, as described in Acts 2. I pray the Holy Spirit come upon me now. I yield myself to You. I pray you breathe on me a breath of refreshment and empowerment. I receive by faith the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Prayer to Break Generational Curses and Sins of the Bloodlines:
Dear Heavenly Father: Thank you that the blood of Jesus is able to take away all sin. I believe this and receive it now in Jesus’ name. I pray forgiveness for the sins of my father, of that bloodline for all generations back, and I ask You to wash me clean now, by the blood of the Lamb. I pray forgiveness for the sins of my mother, of that bloodline for all generations back, and I ask You to wash me clean now, by the blood of the Lamb. I receive Your forgiveness and believe that by Your blood I am cleansed from the sins of all my generational bloodlines. I take the authority I have in my blood covenant with Jesus Christ, and I break all generational curses on my father's side all generations back, broken now, by the blood of the Lamb. I take this same authority and break all generational curses on my mother's side, all generations back, broken now, by the blood of the Lamb. With this same authority I have under the blood covenant of salvation in Jesus, I break any spoken curses on my family bloodline. I break the power of all seals of silence and all vows of secrecy. I take the same authority in the name and the blood of Jesus, and I break all covenants and contracts to satan including blood covenant contracts. I pray forgiveness for the sins of my family line of all those things that happened in darkness, such as any attachment to slavery or any kind of persecution or mistreatment or abuse of any people groups or individuals, and I pray blessings on all descendants of the persecuted groups or individuals. I pray forgiveness for the sin of all idolatries attached to the American Indian bloodline and break all related curses. I break any attachments to family superstitions and idolatries, ungodly beliefs, wives tales, luck charms, and rhyme curses in Jesus’ name. Thank you, Jesus, that Your word says, "Cursed is the one who hangs on the tree." You took our curses, and You took our sins, so that we can have life more abundantly, and we praise you for it. I receive by faith now all generational sins and all generational curses are broken by the blood of the Lamb, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Prayer to Break Ungodly Soul Ties
Father, in the name of Jesus, I submit my soul, my desires, my will, and my emotions to the Holy Spirit and Your Word. I confess as sin all of my sexual relationships before marriage and any sexual relationships outside of marriage. I confess as sin all ungodly relationships involving any part of me, whether spirit, soul, or body. Father, I thank You for giving me the keys of Your kingdom and the keys of spiritual authority. What I bind is bound, and what I loose is loosed (Matthew 16:19). I ask You to loosen from me all soul ties to past sexual partners and ungodly relationships in Jesus' name. Please uproot all tentacles of sexual bondage, emotional longings, dependencies, vain imaginations, enslaving thoughts, and thought patterns. I bind, renounce, and resist any evil spirits that have been reinforced through those soul ties or may have been transferred to me through ungodly associations or promiscuity. I also repent of the sin of the idolatry attached to my pursuit of perversion. Jeremiah 2:20-25 says that my Heavenly Father's perception of this perversion that I have been pursuing is that I will not serve him, and I love foreign gods, and I must go after them. Therefore, I repent of the sin of this idolatry, and I apply the blood of Jesus to it now. I submit to the Lord Jesus Christ and to His Word that tells me that I must forgive so that I will be forgiven. I repent of the sin of unforgiveness and judgment toward the people who have violated me sexually due to incest, molestation, or rape. I choose to forgive and bless them, and I break any soul tie attachments to these people in Jesus' name. Please cleanse my soul with Your blood, renew my mind, and help me to forget all illicit unions so that I am free to give myself, body, soul, and spirit, totally to You. Father, I receive Your forgiveness for all past sins of ungodly soul ties and unrighteous sexual activity. I believe that by Your grace, I am forgiven. Thank You for remembering my sins no more and for cleansing me from all unrighteousness. I commit myself totally to You. Prayer for Release of Bitter Root Judgment and Expectancy
Dear Heavenly Father: In the Name of Jesus, I repent for the sin of judging Your creation. I have judged and condemned others, although I am not a righteous judge and have no right to judge anyone. Jesus committed no sin, and was righteous, but He judged no one. Jesus entrusted Himself to You, the One who judges righteously. I now entrust myself to You. Please forgive me for this sin of judging and condemning others. I now bless those who I have judged. I bless those I have accused. I bless those who hate me and have cursed or abused me. I break the power of the spiritual law of sowing and reaping. I forgive, release, and bless them. I ask You to bless them and give them what they need. With this change in me comes a new expectation of reaping blessings, as opposed to reaping curses. When I “sow” differently, I will “reap” differently. There have been times in my life when I suffered from a lack of knowledge of knowing how to handle life's situations, difficulties, decisions, traumas, and not casting my cares upon Jesus as Your Word says to do. I confess I have used ungodly thought processes, mindsets, devices, defense mechanisms, and wrong or unbiblical reactions. I confess that I sought to handle and control my own problems in my own ways. I devised methods and systems for my self-preservation. Now, I choose to ask You, Lord, to gather and remove the devices I have created and used to get through life's difficult circumstances. I repent for the control I used in creating these devices instead of trusting in You. I release all control, anger, revenge, unforgiveness, and judgments, and all altered states of mind into which I entered to handle trauma in my life. I relinquish my self-preservation, and I trust You for my life and choices. I release to You all trauma, known and unknown. I bind and break the power of all soul tie attachments, longings, emotional bondage, enslaving thought patterns, and dependencies in the name of Jesus Christ. I now purpose in my heart not to reenter these altered states of mind, devices, and mindsets that I have become accustomed to using. I pray in the name of Jesus that You give me the renewal of mind to recognize these devices when they reappear due to life's circumstances. I release to You all disappointment, bitterness, and resentment about my past. I choose to renew my mind through the ongoing study of Your Word. I choose Your truth instead of altered states of mind that have caused me to revisit painful feelings or paralyze and distort my response to abuse or other behavior patterns toward me. So, I speak to all altered states of mind, ungodly thought processes, mindsets, defense mechanisms, devices, and conditioned reactions. I command all such devices to align themselves with the Word of God and release their power over me, my mind, my emotions, my personality, and align with my will in the name of Jesus Christ. I desire as the head and not the tail (Deut. 28:13) to have Jesus Christ and Your Holy Spirit come into me and restore my soul. I forgive, release, and bless everyone who has hurt, abused, or misled me. I repent and ask forgiveness for the sin of carrying any unforgiveness or judgment toward these people. I ask You to bless them and give them what they need. Please bring me into a place where I am fully restored and made whole in spirit, soul, and body. I ask You to renew my mind so that I will not return to these old ways of thinking. I thank You for teaching me to take captive every thought to make it obedient to Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). I ask You to give me the renewed ability to maintain this fresh way of thinking for my new godly lifestyle. 5 was big, 6 was massive, and who knows about 7. Far cry six was basically a small country, but it looked like a continent on the map. If the maps keep getting bigger, far cry 8 will be wild. (I put spoilers because talking about the size of the maps is kinda a spoiler but not really)

Took some experimenting but I discovered I can't continously go back. I have to let the 8 seconds fully pass or a clap will just keep looping me to the time I first went back to.
Doesn't matter if it's 4 seconds or 7, I can't escape until my 8 second advantage passes.

I was just trying to sleep, but that thing opens my closet door, and rushes towards me.. trying to tear into me with its long greasy nails.
I thought this ability was a miracle, but I barely escaped being scratched on the first clap... it felt like my skin was searing...
I keep managing to clap before it reaches me but I can't get out of this loop no matter what I try.
I never make it to the door.
I never am able to fight it off.
I never am able to make it past 8 seconds.
For the first time since I got my ability 2 years ago...
I'm so scared...

My most important prerequisite is that the Kai entry/ies really hone in on Gramheart's ambitions now that the mechanics of the Genesis have been fleshed out. He's lately been played as somewhat for a fool in the 2nd game, but I think he was just biding his time in order to prep for his Startaker Plan.
What does he want to gain from this "Startaker Plan" of his? How does the deuteroginist of the Calvard arc, his daughter Agnes, factor into his plans? Who are some of the other stakeholders involved in the President's master plan? MTSC? Verne? Heiyue? The Septian Church? Maybe even Ouroboros, though the Calvard gov't & them seem to be at odds with one another? Why is the Chruch so up in arms about people finding out about what's beyond the Zemurian continent, and could it be their possible ties to Ouroboros? Just who is the Grandmaster?
There are so many factors & factions at play here that it's very easy to lose sight on who will actually drive and contribute to the plot the most. I think it would be very wise for the developers to gradually drive the plot and uncover most of Zemuria's mysteries through the investigations that Kevin, Rean, Rufus, Van, or maybe even Alan Richard will carry out across multiple acts.
As for the unresolved questions about the factions themselves, not just about what's beyond Zemuria, I was personally a bit disappointed that the 2nd game spent too much time explaining the Genesis and the technological aspects, instead of delving into the factions' motives and backstories more. But, I hope they can also squeeze through more story development with regard to the various factions(MTSC, Heiyue, Ikaruga, Bracers, etc.) going forward in the Kai game(s?).
I can think of several reasons how each faction has a stake( whether opposed or in support) in Gramheart's big operations:
..... let's start with factions that are likely to SUPPORT Startaker
MTSC- Possibly more profit to be gained from the technology deployed and sold via contracts w/ the admin?
Verne- Somehow linked to Hamilton's desire to resolve the drought in Eastern Zemuria where she hails from?
Heiyue- Almost all of the members hail from East Zemuria, so it's likely they want to see their relatives not have to deal with the drought anymore. They may be banking on Gramheart's plan to help out their own people.
Ikaruga- Like Heiyue, they are Easterners so very similar reasons may apply to them. Also, being mercenaries, it's likely they will get paid BIG BUCKS by working with the President.
Gramheart & CID- I think his motives will be twofold here. One being very personal to him, like his daughter and his dead wife. And, the other, genuine desire to push Calvard to greater heights and be more influential by solving a major environmental crisis.
..... next, we have factions that are more likely to OPPOSE Startaker
The Church- They're obviously hiding something that's beyond Zemuria that they don't want rhe public to know, and this secrecy may be how they preserve their position of authority. It will be interesting to see how conflicted Kevin will be between his duty as a Gralsritter and just simply doing the right thing.
Ouroboros- It's been implied that they do have ties with the Church, and the Grandmaster could be using them as a front for their plans or to just keep some sort of delicate status quo.
.... Finally, we have factions that will be conflicted and in the GRAY AREA with regard to Startaker
Arkride Solutions Office- Van and his gang will likely try to get to the bottom of what's really going on, and do the right thing. It's clear that they will make the venture to Ored, and they will, I think, mostly be dealing with MTSC's machinations which is HQ'd there.
Rufus' Picnic Squad- Rufus will have personal motivation to try to redeem himself once and for all, and will have similar goals with that of Van.
The Bracers- It's not a guarantee that Joshua and Estelle will join in on the party this time around. But, bracers in general do go out of their way to investigate various phenomenon affecting civilians. It's just not in their duty to be bias towards the government or any other interest groups.
Rean & Some of Class 7- Rean will also try to uncover the grander scheme of things, but will also have personal interest in seeking out his old instructor Yun Ka fai. From there, I think he will try to figure out what really going on with the environmental crisis in the East. I think his team will likely roam around somewhere in the Eastern part of Calvard near Longlai and the Kunlun Range.

As for what my theory/opinion is on Gramheart's motives, like I said, his motives are likely to be both in the national and in the personal interest. I place my bets on the likelihood that he has some sort of beef against the Church & Ouroboros, and that this could be due to their possible involvement in his wife's death. His wife could have been someone who knew "too much" about the Beyond, and was targeted by the Church for her discovery. This would make for an compelling revenge plot. His Startaker Plan could very well be a means to revealing to the public what his wife tried to reveal, and he also wants to eliminate Ouroboros at their Celestial Globe in the Beyond while taking this place for himself and for Calvard's national security interests. Also, with this operation being linked to helping the situation with the drought in Eastern Zemuria, this Plan will only enhance Calvard's soft power and influence if they do resolve it.
Meanwhile, through Ouroboro's perspective, it could be that the Grandmaster was trying to maintain some sort of delicate status quo; and that Startaker may disrupt this balance, thereby initiating the "End of the World" prophecy that was alluded in Cold Steel 4 and Reverie. But, of course, Gramheart doesn't care about this; and just wants to settle the score with the Church and Ouroboros. In my opinion, this sets up a really nuanced plot as Van, Rean, Rufus, and their crews juggle with the moral and philosophical dilemma while toeing the line between Ouroboros & Co. and Gramheart & Co.

In early 2022, I took a DNA test using the TellMeGen company because I wanted some of their specific health and genetic disposition results and because I was curious about broad ancestry/heritage info, but not really looking for genealogy or online connection with relatives. Somewhere along the line, they either added or I opted into a DNA Connect feature, but since this company is less popular in the US compared to Ancestry, 23andMe, etc., I never thought much about it. Until this evening, when I got an email that I have a “new relative,” and logged in to check. Sure enough, they’ve linked me to a user who shares 1% DNA with me.

Howdy, Howdy I’m Hiro (21, He/Him). I’m a forever DM with about seven years of experience and am currently starting up a homebrew game.
I play a lot of shooters like Overwatch and Apex, but I love a lot of RPGs as well like Fable TLC, Soulsborne games, and Xcom recently. I’m a big anime fan as well, currently working my way through JJK and Dungeon Meshi right now. Other than that I love American football (Go Birds!), a huge paintball player, Magic the Gathering, and love animals.
As a DM my games often land between either 60/40 or 70/30 in terms of RP to Combat. This campaign will be run inside of the homebrew world of Movian, a high fantasy world that has only existed for seven hundred years and has a troubled history. For many people, there seems to be a new apocalyptic event every day and there is no time for simple rest. Movian is made up of eight different countries with many different walks of life.

• The underwater kingdom of Aquirils and its scattered but strong people.
  
• Atria and its costal cities with opportunistic people and port filled cities.
  
• Droth is nothing but a barren continent filled with nothing but sand and wandering tribes constantly fighting for survival.
  
• Exantra, a theocracy run by religious zealots of all gods and walks of life.
  
• Large and spiraling cities built into the Geotish mountains house some of the most stout and stubborn walks of life.
  
• Ruinyth is a small cloister of islands reside far from the mainland of the continent, made up entierly of wizards and scholars looking to study for the sake of knowledge.
  
• The fey filled forests of Shaya are known to be some of the most mystical on Movian, filled with ever vigilant defenders and history loving citizens.
  
• Xarus, the kingdom of heroes filled with guilds and adventures alike looking to make their mark across the world.
  
• The Empire of Xiven holds constant battles among itself, its borders full of nothing but violence and revolution.

Hey everyone!
I'm currently in a multiplayer match against my friend, and it's not looking good. Even though I own the game longer than him, he has way more playtime and is better at the game.
The situation:
We're on different continents and only recently we've found each other (Though I think he still doesn't know where I am). I was busy the whole time purging Russia, and thought that I was fast. Turns out, I wasn't. He either spammed settlers or won quite a lot of wars, but the fact is he has like 15 cities while I have around 7. He has a bit better military (520) than me (490) and way more science (90 against my 50). I didn't look at culture but it's probably also high. We're at round 100, a bit higher, 110 maybe. I would look up the exact values but the game doesn't let me load the save when he's not present. I feel like the only two points I have against him are:

• I have waaay more money than him. 1200 vs 60. I also generate like 40 (I think) per round.
• He doesn't know where I am. I currently have a horseman on his continent and open borders with him.

My current (and flawed) plan:
Ally with the other civilizations, start a war with him, and sit back while the AIs make his life harder. He definitely would win but it would throw him off. While he is dealing with that, I go for a science victory. Because science needs a lot of production, and you can buy stuff with money instead of using production. Also I'm germany and they have a production boost.
The flaws:
I have no idea what I'm doing. I've been playing for years now, have a lot of saves but none, not a single one, is actually completed. I don't know why but I always start with a fresh save instead of simply continuing an old save.
Does money even matter in the science victory? I don't even know if you can buy all the space projects instead of using production.
The AIs are going to be dead in a second. The strongest AI has a strength of 160.
I wish I could provide a screenshot but the game won't let me load the save. Maybe someone knows how to circumvent this?
If you have a better plan than me, I'd be very happy about that. Generally I think the win I should go for should make use of the money.

Was reading another post about the secret weapons not originally being weapons and thought it warrants further discussion in terms of what we know of the limited functions of the weapons and the make up of the red line.
The red line has been shown to be a combination of various islands with differing weather, some parts snowing some parts desert, others jungle/forest.
Poseidon=god of the sea, perhaps more than just controlling sea kings. Could ultimately end up controlling the oceans themselves
Uranus=god of the sky, it could be that it doesn't "destroy" something but rather is picking it up into the sky/teleporting it/blowing away.
Pluton=god of the underworld/land, it could be what helped create the base of the red line.
All of these 3 could work together to pick up a part of a continent and place it on top of the red line via Uranus (possibly just the island's aiatmosphere?). Pluton helps create a "cork" in the land beneath and also the base of the red line itself. Poseidon works to re-connect the ocean currents that were disrupted after Pluton puts the "cork" at the bottom of the sea for the sea kings to swim over and pull the ocean back together. The red line was Joyboy's "one piece", and Luffy's "one piece" will be made by destroying it.
In addition, the ancient kingdom was the location of Pangea castle and the WG built on top of its ruins to create their own paradise. Thats why Imu goes down into that chamber in Pangea to see Joyboy's strawhat. Imu never took the hat, its where Joyboy originally left it in his original home way back then. The final "island" will be the red line, but to a specific part in it which they created a hole/cutout similar to the one in Wano that is used for ships to go up and down if they know where it is/how to get into it.
So in order for strawhats to reach the final island they try to go to the entrance after getting the last road poneglyph, but now that gorosei/WG is after them they will destroy the entrance upon strawhats finding it, forcing a showdown in Marie Geoise as getting to it via Pangea castle is now the only way without completely destroying it.
This could also be why the WG never went after the Roger Pirates and the Roger Pirates never spilled the beans. WG doesn't want the secret entrance discovered as it would be a huge vulnerability, Roger pirates don't want to be chased by WG for the rest of their lives so they struck a truce of some sort. Could be they ran into Imu/Gorosei down there as well once they realized someone snuck in somehow to the old kingdom they built on top of.
This turned out to be a few speculations instead of 1 but interested to hear thoughts.
