2024.06.01 15:18 Spooneater69 I think I have a love hate relationship with my friend but im unsure.

Ok so, I (14F) have known this boy (14M) who I will call “A” since I was in third grade, and we are obviously in the same middle school. We are both incredibly intelligent and good at writing, however people always put him above me. I feel like he isn’t more successful than me academically though. Infact I am more successful than him, i’m in the gifted program and in student council neither of which he is in.
Anyways, I have always resented him because he gets more praise for the same writing and work that I do. I think we’re both funny, I always make him laugh and he makes me laugh. However, I can’t help but to resent him even though I think we both have the same qualities; hes attractive and i’m very sure I am aswell, hes smart and I know I am aswell and we’re both popular and funny; adults are always saying so.
Its just like hes so perfect and I would give anything to recieve the same kind of praise he does. I mean even I adore him but like not in a romantic way, its just like hes always been someone who likes classical literature even though nobody else in our grade is intrigued by it and its just heinous knowing I probably won’t be able to speak to him in highschool because he’s one of my favorite people. I’m not really sure if how I feel about him is romantic, like sometimes I just want to hug him if that makes sense lmao. Oh I included our writing from sixth grade when we did a group project together copy pasted ↓
Mine: As soon as the recollection of the three bodies came cascading upon Bass in a choking flood of stinging details, Bass began to perspire and tremble. Something that was a recurrence in this impeccable novel is the mention of the Comanches- a belligerent indigenous group of people to America. The name was sure to bring fear to even the brawniest of men, Comanche had tolled in them like a portentous gong. There was a sinister and unlikely coincidence between the violent happening around the Native American territory that made the Comanche one of the most hideous of omens. In reality though the Comanches were a brutal community, bring treated with a biblical veneration. However I would like to take a mature and systematic evaluation of why they may do these things. For one, us Americans drove them out if the land they had lived in for centuries, brutally burning down their communities and making them walk grueling trails and rough rocks to arrive at a territory riddled with mediocrity. Overall I believed that the Comanches were a symbol or vim and freedom throughout this novel.
His: There are several prominent names that have established themselves as important threads upon the rich tapestry of Western History; Several Outlaws and desperados are recalled for the formidable forced they possessed upon their communities. Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday- all of these names have been of flourishing recognition, yet there are only mere vestiges of traces upon a true legend; a figure of immaculate morals (a trait that was a rare rose within a grotesque haven of weeds.) This very man that I speak of was born into slavery and- at the age of seventeen- relinquished the clutches of his owner prerequisite to venturing into the sibylline, crime-riddled depths of the Indian Territory where he would elude the treacherous dangers amidst his path to grow older to be a man of law; a valiant marshal in which turned a horrendous domain (the indian territory) into a place of order. This man went by the name of Bass Reeves.

2024.06.01 15:17 google_yowshee PC keeps bsodding, generally unstable

Specs: Ryzen 9 3900x Rx 6800 xfx typa shi Uhh some b450 ass motherboard Amd wraith prism (yes I'm broke) Rm750 PSU Corsair 32gb of ddr4 I think it's either 3200 or 3600 Some 1tb nvme m.2 SSD, solidigm shi, couple 3tb hdds as well Built it myself
My pc has been generally so unstable, when playing games it just blacks out and restarts, but I fixed that recently that was because my CPU kept overheating because of so much dust, so I got my dust blower gun thing and probably gave myself asthma when blowing it out. That was a few days ago
But generally it's just unstable, I was playing gtav and it bsodded, I restarted, tried to open it again and another bsod, then restarted again, was on my phone and it just bsodded again without me even touching it
I tried updating gpu drivers but the AMD software is shit, but just generally it gets on my nerves Every time it bsods it's always a completely different error message, I don't even know what to do because every article or something I find is just "update your drivers and try SFC /scannow" and nothing works
I'm dying here man please help

2024.06.01 15:15 coasttocoastgenetics {UPDATED} Rare Heirloom Cannabis Seeds for Sale - NY

Hey everyone! I was pleased by the overwhelming interest I got in my collection, as someone who has a passion for building soil and hunting beans for unique phenos the last 15 years. I am glad how many people appreciate true one of kind heirloom genetics!
Why am I getting rid of them? Simply put - I am trying to go the legit route and this state is making it beyond difficult. I need to recoup and regroup. Any support is much appreciated. I’ve waited my whole life for this.
Pricing - I updated below. Much of my collection is very hard to find one of kind stuff that is highly sought after. No random pollen chucking, true bred stabilized genomes. There’s a lot of history in that list as well if you’re someone who understands the genomics of the plant. You’ll see breeder, where they’re out of, the strain name, the cross and a little bit of history / description on some of it. Some very very special stuff. Pricing is either what I paid for it or a little more if it’s something special that’s not easy to find or not being bred anymore.
*Each strain is in original packaging stored in a curidor at a steady 52 degrees, no light, no humidity. I find this is the best way to store beans for long term storage and guaranteed high germination rates. I usually get 97-100% germ rate with my germination method which I will include on a printed out sheet for anyone who grabs any of my offerings. I want you to succeed and find something special - I cherish my collection and sad to see a lot of it go but you gotta do what you gotta do. I’d really like to see this stuff go to growers who care about the plant and preserving the uniqueness to it for years to come. Hope all of this helps

Bandaid Haze ix 3.0 (Piff) - Cuban Black Haze x A5/Thai [R] 200 (2 packs) {These seeds originally came from a Spanish grower in the “A5 crew” out of Southern Holland. “A5” was short for their NL#5 x Haze A open Thai pollination project. These seeds were shared with legendary grower Bodhi, who found one male and used it to pollinate a cut of “Cuban Black Haze” that he had. The strain was referred to as “Piff” and the seeds were shared almost exclusively with Doc D. After running the seeds, Doc selected “Piff #7” and shared the cut back with Bodhi who further worked the line. The cut was a significantly better long flowering haze variety with a shorter flowering time than the Cuban Black Haze mother or A5 father. Bodhi then later referred to the strain as “Bandaid Haze” coining the term because he said “it heals all wounds” This genome has direct lineage to the New York Hazes (NYC Piff / Uptown Piff / Washington Heights Haze) of the 2000s without any of the paranoia/anxiety that came from many of the hazes from that era. Many world renowned breeders agree that most of the “New York Haze” and “New York City Piff” varieties are all just different cuts of the same strain, that most likely comes from an early selection of Neville Schoenmakers (NL#5 x Haze) which is often referred to as the “pinnacle of cannabis breeding” that has dominated cannabis scene from the 1980s in Holland to the present day.}

2024.06.01 15:15 Cobalt-BlazBlue A Lesson In Clarity

First time poster here, had an idea for a short excerpt with Kassandra Curze based on the audio drama, A Lesson in Darkness, after I finished listening to it. Hope its all y’allz liking~ ////////////
The world screamed beneath her feet. It screamed with the chorus of over nine million souls as butchery rained down upon their roofs. The slurry of dismembered, flayed, and eviscerated corpses sending a maddening cacophony of panic through each pair of eyes who dared to look up above with hope. The debris weren’t just pieces of meat after all, it was the result of their defiance. The very men, women, and warriors who flew into the stars to meet the armies of the Imperium with foolish ideals of resistance in their hearts- now they lay in pieces and are eagerly falling back home.
“Terror as a scalpel.” The Primarch uttered to her son. “Mankind is a vindictive, grudge-filled, and hate-fueled creature. While many shall judge us for our method of war, we shall wield the fear of our ways like a scalpel. It shall pluck at their very foundation as anarchic animals right at its root.”
The captain nods, his inky black eyes filled with awe at staring at his gene-matron. His twin hearts beating in cold joy at the brutal lecture- he sees the nobility and monstrosity simultaneously. Kassandra Curze was a blood-stained angel.
Yet his own awe-strained thoughts were rocked by a singular question.
“Then, my lady, why do you command us to keep that mortal remembrancer around? Surely his account of our battles shall serve to stifle the fear we so-tenderly stoke?”
The Primarch paused, she didn’t expect her son to ask such a thing. While usually quick to anger, today she was treated to a gift from Starlight. She dare not sour the moment of her victory as well.
“It is not for his propaganda papers. He wishes to see…all of it.”
“All of it?” The captain chided.
“Yes.” Kassandra removes her helmet, “Of all the souls that have ever met my gaze no mortal has ever wished to see anymore as soon as eyes level. They see a monster, and that is by design, they see the Night Haunter. But Starli- I mean, the remembrancer. He sees me, the legion, and the blood of a thousand flayed men and he still does not turn away. He sees…me.”
The captain had been a veteran at this point and he had heard his Primarch talk about all manner of topics. From the complexities of human psychology and the myriad ways of battle, but this conversation, those words, he had no idea what she was saying. What stayed with him though, was her expression: She flashed a smile that almost seemed…tender.
Kassandra picks up on her son’s confusion and just sighs before putting her helmet back on. “Needless to say this world has been rendered compliant and I shall deliver this victory to the remembrancer personally.”

2024.06.01 15:14 RemarkableAnnual3336 I feel lost

I have been feeling myself further away from God even though I still read my bible and pray every night.
I can't really explain how I am feeling but ever since I started reading my Bible last month instead of feeling relief or joy it makes me feel distressed and disappointed. All my life I had this view of God as someone who completely understands your feelings and can make an exception for you based on your heart and always feels sorry for you ,but the more I read the bible and learn more about his word it makes me think the opposite. When I read the bible to me it's kinda of just in black and white about how your suppose to act and what your suppose to do no matter what your feel because your feelings dont matter at all. I always find myself thinking and wondering if God truly understands and cares about you because of this.
Idk why I think like this and it has been bothering me for months. When I look at other people that have started reading the bible the say that they feel peace whereas me on the other hand I get sad, disappointed and cry at night.
Last night I saw one of those tiktoks and it was a women with tears in her eyes saying "God is giving people one last chance to repent before he hands them over to their delusions" and that just really scared me and my heart felt heavy again. I feel guilty for not believing these people sometimes because it sometimes sounds like spiritual psychosis but what if they are speaking the truth.( whats your opinion if the people thag scream and cry while speaking about these type of things?)
When I try and learn about the word I start feeling my heart is heavy or I feel restrained scriptures like "pick up your cross and follow me" seem to leave me distress and feeling negative for some reason because it seems difficult aswell and how you have to be willing to abandon everything for God(like your parents or your wealth) even if your going to be sad about it. I know by abandoning those things, God has a greater gift for us when we die but at the same time it makes me think "then whats the point of living and forming relationships or achieving wealth?" I have so many questions for God that I wish he could answer me directly ,like on a dream
I don't know what to do because some people will say this and then another person will say that and it ends up not helping at all
(I hope you guys understand this, it took me a while to try and explain how i have been feeling)

2024.06.01 15:14 RyanMorholt Forest Grove Settlers: First Day Fallout Fan Fiction - A Short Story

“I told you there would be nothing in that military check point,” Barrett said. He cleaned his hands from bloodbug residue. “Only abandoned cars and empty cigarette machines.”
“Okay, I was wrong!” Simon admitted. “Is it my fault that I have hope?”
“No one ever knows out here,” Kevin chimed in.
Simon affectionally grabbed his youngest brother by the shoulder.
“See, Barrett, this is what a supportive brother sounds like.”
Barrett grunted.
The three brothers continued to follow the broken asphalt road. In time, the sky above them disappeared behind the ruins of an interstate highway. Its massive concrete columns towered over the horizon. It had cast a long shadow over their route.
Kevin stopped his brothers.
“Is that an elevator?” He pointed to the yellow cable lift that ran up to the overpass.
“I’m not using that,” Barrett quickly responded. He touched his stomach unconsciously, cognizant of his size and weight.
“Yeah, that might be an adventure for another life time,” Simon said, noting the precariousness of the cables that rose up to the ruins of the highway overpass.
Kevin pursed his lips with a modicum of disappointment. As the youngest and smallest of the three, he possessed more daring than his brothers combined. Perhaps this difference was due to the inexperience of his age or the simple fact that Kevin had a different mother than Barrett and Simon. His courage may have been a genetic inheritance that the others lacked.
“House!” Simon spotted the wooden building before his brothers, who still focused on the elevator and the possibility of ascending it.
“Let me guess, there’s going to be treasure inside of it,” Barrett said sarcastically.
“There could be!” Simon replied.
As the young men approached the building, it became apparent it had been apart of a long abandoned settlement. From their higher-ground perspective, they could see the ruins of several buildings roll down the landscape and into the consuming waters of the Charles River. The houses closest to the river had flooded and slowly rotted in the river’s murky water.
“We got a lot of work to do,” Barrett said. His siblings could hear the smile in his words. They knew that there would be at least one piece of worthwhile loot among these buildings. Barrett, however, wanted more than the natural greed of survival. The big man itched for a real fight.
“Raiders, Ghouls, or Mirelurks,” Kevin asked.
“Five caps on raiders,” Barrett said. His hand dropped to the pipe pistol holstered to his thigh.
“Five for mirelurks,” Simon said.
“I guess, I take ghouls.”
The three men moved closer to the first building. The residence, once a beautiful suburban home, had decayed over the two hundred and twenty years since its owners died in the nuclear fallout. Yet, despite the age of home, its door seemed to have been freshly repaired.
Simon, as per usual, approached the entrance with military tact. Barrett positioned himself behind his older brother. He placed one hand on Simon’s shoulder and the other around his pipe pistol. Kevin checked their flank and readied his pipe rifle.
Simon lifted his hand. He counted silently with his fingers.
One. Two. Three.
He grabbed the door and yanked it open. Barrett entered the building, his pipe pistol scanning the interior of the house.
“Clear!”
Simon followed Barrett. Kevin slowly backed into the building. He closed the door behind him.
“Stairs,” Barrett said to his brothers.
Immediately, the big man took the lead, scanning the floor above him with his pistol at eye-level. Simon followed in the wake of his larger brother, keeping his eyes straight to the top of the landing. Kevin stayed on the first floor. He found a corner, pressed his back into it, and crouched. He kept his eye on the front door.
“Clear!” Barrett’s voice rang through the structure.
“Nothing for nobody,” Kevin said, standing from his position and letting his rifle hang limply in his hands. He thought at least one ghoul would be hiding in the house. Their fraternal bottlecap wager would have to wait another house.
“Cheer up! Better luck in the next building.” Simon said as he walked down the stairs. “Right now, we have some time to loot.”
The brothers began the careful examination of the residential building.
Despite two centuries of rain and snow the building seemed to be in good condition. Clearly, since the bombs fell, a series of squatters had made improvements and adjustments over the years. In fact, the house seemed almost luxurious compared to the standards of the Wasteland. The floors had been redone with new planks of wood. The walls had been scraped of their original wallpaper and painted a light seafoam green. Although the glass from the windows had been long destroyed, curtains hung over the wooden shutters that secured the windows from the exterior world.
“Ooo!” Barrett exclaimed upstairs.
“What’d you find?” Simon called out. He stood at the bottom of the staircase and waited for a sign.
“Caps stash!” Barrett appeared with a grey tin can. He shook it and a number of caps inside of it pleasantly jingled.
“And you thought there wouldn’t be any treasure?” Simon laughed to himself.
“And the fridge is full!” Kevin called.
Barrett rushed down the stairs and joined his brothers at the fridge. Together, they drank a bottle of mostly clean water, each taking sips and passing it to the others. Then, they finished a plate of crispy squirrel bits.
“Almost fresh,” Barrett said, shoving a large handful into his mouth.
Simon continued his perusal of the house as he chewed his last portion of squirrel meat. He went to the living room section of the main floor and rummaged through a chest of drawers.
“Women’s clothing?” He lifted a dress from the chest of drawers and showed his brothers. The light green dress seemed to be in relatively good condition. The clean herbaceous smell of carrot flowers wafted into his nose.
“Someone might still live here,” Barrett said, looking at a bouquet of fresh hubflowers on the table.
Kevin looked from one of the windows. “I think he’s just arrived.”
Before Simon and Kevin could arm themselves, the door opened. An old man entered with two buckets of water. At the very moment he saw these three men, he dropped the buckets on the floor and rushed out of the building. One of the buckets spilled its contents across the floor, slowly dribbling down the front steps. Meanwhile, the old man pressed his back against the exterior wall of the building.
“What are you doing in my house?”
“We didn’t know!” Simon shouted back. “We didn’t mean to trespass!”
“Well, you did. Now, what are you going to do? Kill an old man and take his home?”
“Not if you let us leave unharmed!”
“How do I know that you’re not raiders?”
“You can’t,” Simon shouted back. “You can only make a leap of faith.”
“And why would I that?”
“Well, for one thing, there are more of us than there are of you.”
“Send one man out.”
“No!” Simon responded. “How do I know you’re not just going to shoot him the moment he leaves the building?”
“You can’t,” the old man shouted back. “You can only make a leap of faith.”
Simon felt bested by the old man’s negotiating skills.
“I’ll go,” Kevin said to his brothers.
“No, I will.” Barrett put his hand on his younger brother. He would gladly die in his place.
“There’s less of me to hit,” Kevin bantered.
Barrett grunted, but he could not stop himself from smiling.
Simon thought about dissuading his brothers, telling them that no one was going to leave the house, but this show of trust needed to be made. If things went well, there could be a chance that the three of them could profit from this encounter. Perhaps, they could spend the night sleeping inside a warm house and finally be able to get a proper night’s rest.
“I’m coming out,” Kevin shouted to the old man.
“Unarmed. With your hands up! If I see so much as a big iron on your hip, the deal is off.”
Kevin placed his pipe rifle and his switchblade on top of the chest of drawers.
Simon stepped close to his brother and embraced him.
“If he harms you, I will make sure he suffers until his very last breath,” Simon whispered.
Kevin squeezed his brother tightly and went to the door.
“I am approaching the door now,” Kevin shouted. “My hands are up.”
Kevin stepped over the spilled water bucket and crossed the threshold of the house.
“Keeping going,” the old man commanded.
Once Kevin descended the front stairs and reached the hard ground, he felt the old man sweep behind him and check for weapons.
“Do we trust each other?” Kevin said, letting the old man pat down his sides. “I’m alive, so I know I can trust you, but there are still two men inside of the house.”
“Two, huh? I thought there’d be more of you.” The old man met Kevin gaze. His face was wrinkled, freckled, and scarred. His neck-length beard, once nearly black in colour, had become streaked with grey. His moustache faired slightly better, but it too had begun to pale in his old age. Overall, the old man seemed hardened by his experiences in the wasteland, but, despite this hardness, Kevin noticed a softness behind his eyes. They reflected no bitterness or resentment.
“Now what?” Simon called from inside of the house.
“I’m going to come inside with your friend as collateral.”
The old man drew his 10mm pistol and pressed into Kevin’s lower back. Kevin straightened his posture with a reflexive fear. He climbed up the stairs and back into the house, the pistol never losing contact with his spine.
“Welcome to my home, gentleman,” the old man said. “The name is Duncan. I hope you make yourselves comfortable, although, by the looks of yesterday’s dinner, it seems as though you already have.”
Barrett glanced back at the empty porcelain plate. He wiped his greasy hands on his pant legs.
“Watch it, big guy,” the old man said. “You don’t want to make too many sudden movements.”
Barrett looked into his brother’s face. Kevin seemed calm on the surface, but Barrett could see the fear beneath his composure.
“My name is Simon. This is Barrett, and the man you currently threatening is our brother Kevin.”
“Pleasure, gentlemen.”
“We’re travellers. We’ve no particular destination. We’re just trying to survive.”
“Yes, that always seems to be the story. Why aren’t you getting comfortable in Diamond City or Goodneighbor?”
“We’re new to the Commonwealth,” Simon replied.
“Just arrived,” Barrett added.
“Boys, I’m happy to be your first experience in these here parts, but you’re going to have to leave. I can’t risk any trouble.”
“We won’t be any trouble,” Kevin said, looking behind his shoulder.
“Truly, I would like to believe you boys, but you best be going.”
Duncan stepped aside and positioned himself to the side of the room. He tilted his head toward the door with a quick gesture, encouraging Simon and Barrett to leave.
“Now, please.”
“Can we at least get Kevin’s weapons over there?” Simon asked.
“I’ll toss them to you once you’re out of the door. Just go.”
Simon and Barrett complied. They walked out of the house and down the steps. Duncan led Kevin from his house, allowing the young man to move away from the pistol.
“Grandpapa!”
The men turned to see group of three women approaching the house. Two of them carried heavy bags of harvested food, while the third held a tactical submachine gun in her hands. The three of them kept staring at their grandfather, who kept his pistol held toward the brothers.
The woman with the submachine gun lifted the stock to her shoulder. She knew that with her large drum magazine, she could cut down these three intruders without the need to reload.
“We had a small misunderstanding, ladies,” Simon said with a winning smile. He looked at the woman with the submachine gun. Her short dark brown hair swooped over one of her eyes. She flipped her hair out of the way. “We’ll be on our way,” Simon continued, “once your grandfather hands us our weapons.”
“How about you head on out without them?” the woman with the gun said.
“That’s not fair,” Kevin said. He stepped forward as he said it, causing the woman to swivel her sights on him.
“On more step and you’ll have lost more than your weapons.”
“Woah, woah. Okay, message received,” Kevin said, putting his hands back into the air. “Let’s go, guys. It’s okay. We can find kinder hosts somewhere else.”
“Or, at least, a better fight,” Barrett said with a sniff of his nose. “An old man and three little girls hardly constitute a challenge.”
“I can wipe the floor with you, big boy,” said the woman with the machine gun.
“Audrey!” Duncan reprimanded.
“I’d like to see you try, girlie. Unarmed, one-on-one, you stand no chance,” Barrett said. As he spoke, he took a deep breath and inflated his already imposing figure. The muscles beneath his shirt could be seen flexing.
“Want to try me? Or are you scared of losing to a girl?” Audrey responded.
Barrett roared with laughter.
“Audrey, that’s enough!” the old man said. “Do not aggravate them. They’re on their way.”
“Wait!” the smallest of the three women called to her grandfather. “Can’t they stay? If they wanted to hurt us, they would’ve already.”
“It’d be too risky!” Duncan replied.
“But you’ve always said that people need to come together and rebuild this world,” she said.
Duncan flashed her a quick scolding look.
“Sylvie’s right,” the third woman added. “They can help us around the property.” Her eyes danced over Barrett’s large figure. While her middle sister seemed ready to harm him, she merely wanted to be held by him.
“Audrey, talk some sense into your sisters!” Duncan exclaimed. “You ladies know that we can’t invite people at random!”
“We’d be happy to help,” Simon interjected.
Kevin locked eyes with his young counterpart. Sylvie broke eye contact and looked at her feet.
“Yeah, we can help,” Kevin said a little absent-mindedly. He continued to admire the woman before his eyes.
“Wait a minute,” Barrett said, “This guy pulls a pistol on you and you want to help him? What are you going to do? Fetch him water?”
“We made him to spill it,” Kevin said with a shrug.
“Are you guys out of your mind? How can we trust them? What if the old man and these she-devils are planning to kill us in the middle of the night.”
“Oh, now you’re afraid of me!” Audrey teased, loosening her grip on the submachine gun.
“I ain’t afraid of anything,” Barrett snapped.
Simon bursted in laughter. “Buddy, you know you’re agreeing with the old man, right? He doesn’t want you around because he thinks your going to do to him what you think he’s doing to do to you.”
Barrett squinted his eyes, trying to parse the sentence.
“I don’t like it,” Barrett said.
“Neither do I,” Duncan agreed.
“Well, they’re not staying in the house,” Audrey said. She tilted her swooping hair out of her eyes again. “Give them the rotting house.”
Duncan stayed silent. Everyone looked at him as though it was his decision which made everything final.
“Fine, but I’m standing guard during the night. If one of these boys come creeping in the night, I’ll make sure our walls get a nice new shade of red.”
Barrett nodded his head in agreement. “And I’ll take first watch at our place.”
Audrey turned to her sisters. “Morgan, Sylvie, take the food inside. I’ll show these men their residence.” She adjusted the tactical submachine gun in her arms.
Her sisters did what they were told.
“Gentlemen,” Audrey said, leading the men down the slight hill, “Your new abode.” She kicked the front door, which broke free from its hinges. The wood from the door had rotted from the moisture in the air. Wet dust flew from the ground and an acrid smell spewed from the interior of the building.
“Enjoy.”
Audrey left the three brothers and returned to her home.
The three of the brothers exchanged uncomfortable glances and looked at the building. Kevin approached the doorway and peered into the darkness.
“Ghoul!” Kevin shouted.
His brothers ran into the building with their weapons drawn. Kevin threw his arms around his brothers as they looked at remains of a feral ghoul. It had died a long time ago.
“Pay up, boys!” he said with a smile. “Five caps each.”

2024.06.01 15:14 theoriginalelmo If Best Picture had 5 nominees (2018)

Welcome back, Elmo is happy to see you again
Same rules as before
The winner qualifies automatically
And all the nominees need have been originally nominated to make it here
Also, just as a reminder, this is not a “top 5 films of 2019” so your favorite might not make it.
And before we start, I want to impress on you that this is a very weird year.
  1. Green Book: the reason why the first rule was implemented, so i wouldn’t have an excuse to not put this one on the list
  2. Roma: got the most nominated of the night, received some surprise nominations and won Best Director handily.
  3. Blackkklansman: made it into every single ceremony, and while it did miss in actor, it still did get almost all the nominations it was expected to get
  4. The Favorite: did quite, receiving the nominations in almost all the ceremonies, and also that double supporting actress nomination helps a lot.
And now, we come to the last one, i cannot stress enough that this is a very unusual year, so the last one is going to be quite…odd
  1. Black Panther: I know, but hear me out, this film was everywhere, and I don't mean just awards wise, it was freaking everywhere, and there was some real enthusiasm for this film to be nominated in Best Picture, in the end, the biggest reason is that SAG ensemble win.
Now, the rest, in order.
  1. Vice: this film didn’t get in by process of elimination, the academy definitely liked it, but Reddit would kill me if i didn’t add “The Favorite”, but seriously, it just didn’t make the cut.
  2. A Star is Born: that Director miss is why this one isn’t here, also seemed to be on a downward trajectory.
  3. Bohemian Rhapsody: this film did win “Best Drama”… I don’t care.
Yeah, this is not my favorite year.

2024.06.01 15:14 SuitElectronic7680 UPDATE: Not even 2 days in

UPDATE: Not even 2 days in
Alright,
So I've been doing some research, video searching, image searching, Amazon searching, and etc.
I think I've finally found a viable solution for my situation with the X2 that some folks will agree with...
Hopefully I can upload all of the pictures in one post
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><
I bought 2 different dive cases
One for the X2
I chose away from this one because of the black ring around the lens. No matter how it's set or played with in the settings or stitching, it does not go away. It's amazing for protection and such but horrible for viewing.
One for the X3 (invisible dive case) The X3 case was beautiful. It was huge with surface area and provided a lot of protection.
I chose away from this due to size and connectivity.
The size of it adds tremendous weight to it. With that being itself, it adds a lot of maneuverability to the connect point. The most common connect point is a GoPro 3slat 2slot mount with a screw. This case will absolutely ruin the stability but I believe it's great for water and not for something with a lot of mobility.
I bought a silicone protective package
It included covers and a silicone case. The silicone cases seemed perfect until I realized that it's viewable in the footage. It cant be edited ou, not only because it creates separation, BUT because it flaps in the wind. So I had to nix that.
Lastly I found several skeleton cases/frames. I wanted this specific one BUT it had the same 3 slat connection point and I just couldn't do it. I kept searching and found the perfect replacement.
A skeleton frame that has a foldable 3slat option! It gives you both the 1/4 screw and 3slat WITH another attachment that holds.
This was perfect. It protects the shell if it falls and I have covers on the lenses (will do the other once the lens gets here today)
I put some wind muffs on the microphone ports. I was only concerned about 2/4 just for testing purposes. The other 2 will be done once I figure out how to better stitch the lens covers in video.
However, this is a 95% perfect setup FOR ME.
I hope it helps you other folks with an X2/X3 or even x4 because some of these options work for all
😁 🤘🏾😎 ✅ Protection ✅ Durability ✅ Stability ✅ Looks ✅ Size ✅ Connection options
Prices?
$80> lenses $12> Muffs $30> skeleton case $25> lens protection (2 covers/screen) $88> 2 tack /4 point mount
$54> X2 black ring dive case $30> silicone case package

2024.06.01 15:13 PaulSimonBarCarloson One month after the finale, here's my take for an alternate ending... just for fun

Last month, The Bad Batch came to its end with a quite explosive finale. And I made no mystery that I had a few issues with how this story wrapped up. After all the build-up we had in the previous episodes, the finale kinda fell flat, especially on a few meaningful plot threads that were basically dropped unceremoniously. Of course, I still love this show despite everything; this post is not meant to be a criticism towards the show creators: it's their show, and they did what they wanted with it. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to try to imagine a different ending just for the fun of it. I have no pretension to claim that my take is objectively better by any means; it's just different, some people may like it, other my prefer the ending we got or a completely different one and there is nothing wrong with it.
Also, I need to clarify that this whole thing came to me almost by itself in a moment when I just had the right inspiration to collect all the random ideas I had in the back of my mind and put them in a somewhat cohesive order. I admit that it might feel a little disjointed at times, and for that I apologize, but I wrote it in less than two hours and I didn't want to change it too much before posting it. I'm not a professional writer, and this post is meant to be just a fun experiment. Now, in order for this ending to work, we would definitely need to make the finale longer: half an hour should be enough and would make the finale as long as the pilot. Also, a few scenes, like Omega's escape with the kids and the unleashing of the Zillo beast could be moved at the end of the penultimate episode, to gain a little more time for the finale (would be nice if Omega were the one to control it through the Force, but that's a whole other can of worms I'm not ready to open).
My alternate ending differs from the original in three key aspects: first, Rex is present to play a small but important part in the mission on Tantiss, and ideally he would bring along a few of his men, including Howzer and Gregor. Rescuing the clones from Tantiss has always been his quest since late season 2; the Batch basically tagged along just to save Crosshair, and later Omega. Why would Rex only send Echo on this very important mission? They could have easily explained his arrival on Tantiss in various ways. Maybe they could have said Echo sent him the coordinates. Or even better, they could have showed that the ship they used to hitch a ride on the science vessel had a tracker on it, so that Rex could follow: just like they originally planned to do on Eriadu.
Second, the CX troopers would have a more meaningful role in the climax, without being just reduced to mindless NPCs that need to be killed: Rex and the others know very well that those clones are all victims; which leads me to the third, most obvious, point: Tech is revealed as CX-2. Now, I don't want to start another debate on the subject: no use to argue about it now that the show is over. I had my reasons to believe that the story could only benefit from Tech being alive, and I had plenty of reasons to believe CX-2 was actually him. This is just my opinion, and you are not forced to agree with it; if you think Tech's disappearance was handled correctly or that it was necessary for "stakes" or whatever reason, then it's fine. It's just that my version works with him being alive, in order to give us a proper pay-off with a complete family reunion. So, now that the premise is over, I can finally start to explain how the ending would be different in my take:
The big changes would start during the scene in the training chamber. Like in the original, while Hunter, Crosshair and Wrecker are being reconditioned, Hemlock does his evil monologue, where he mentions the last time they saw each other, after losing a brother and says that "history my repeat itself". To me, those lines seemed to be specifically written for a Tech reveal, so in this scene Hemlock actually has CX-2 unmask himself: maybe he could say something like "Isn't this a lovely family reunion?", while the others are being reconditioned, and can't even say a word as they look in horror at what their brother has become. As Hemlock leaves the room to answer Tarkin's call, Echo, Rex and the others are the ones dealing with the CX troopers down below while CX-2 (and not the other big guy) is the one watching over the others as Omega comes to rescue them. As soon as Omega recognizes Tech, she calls him by his name, and hearing it for the first time causes something to trigger in the assassin's mind. Then the scene goes differently after Omega frees the others.
They all try to fight against Tech who still has the upper hand for various reasons. We know he's a capable fighter and the smartest of the group. He's also actively trying to harm them, while the others are pulling their punches. Not to mention Omega is too weak for him, Hunter and Crosshair are already depleted and Wrecker is also injured. During the fight, however, the others try to talk to him, and he clearly starts to hesitate, especially when he hears some words that he might recognize. Even after being incapacitated, Crosshair is the one that's more desperate in trying to reason with his brother, by bringing up his personal experience with the chip and telling him that it's never too late to do the right choice. But then Hemlock, noticing Tech's weird behavior, calls him with the order to bring Omega to the landing platform for a quick escape. So he's the one who drags her on the bridge while she still desperately tries to reason with her brother, begging him to remember who he is, possibly referencing that conversation they had in the cave back in season 2.
Now, before the climax, we need to talk about the other 3/4 assassins that Echo, Rex and the others would be dealing with. Of course, they wouldn't just kill them, but they would make an effort not to harm them, trying to stun them instead. Unlike Tech, these assassins won't be freed from their mind control immediately, we could say it's because the chip has made the reconditioning take better hold of them. We'll leave the door open for Rex and the others to figure out a way to cure them after taking them away from Tantiss (no matter what, they're still their brothers). As an added bonus, we could reveal two of them to be named clones that we know of. One could be Cody, since Rampart could have lied about him being AWOL. In this scenario, I would also say that Cody should be the one to cut Crosshair's hand, adding another layer to their interesting dynamic. Another one might be Wolfe, who also might have tried to desert after Teth, or maybe they just took him before he could even start to doubt the Empire (apologies if this doesn't align well with Rebels: correct me if that's the case). This will, of course, add even more tension to the fight with Rex and the others: maybe, as cruel as it might be, he could be the one to kill Howzer, tough it's not mandatory, and personally I don't like pointless deaths.
Now, on the bridge the scene is a little different; my ideas can be a little confusing from now on so bear with me. Omega still gets handcuffed to Hemlock while Tech and Scorch are guarding his escape, maybe with a few more stormtroopers who are easily shot down by Hunter and Crosshair. Wrecker is also there this time: though he doesn't have a blaster, he charges straight towards Hemlock, but Tech shoots him on the shoulder and the leg, neutralizing him. So now we have Crosshair and Hunter on one side and Hemlock and Omega on the other like in the show, but we also have Tech, Scorch and the incapacitated Wrecker in the mix. The ship still needs to arrive and land on this specific platform, so we still have time for a brief verbal confrontation between Tech and the others during this stalemate. Hemlock tries to prove a point by ordering Tech to finish off his brother, but Crosshair finally manages to breach through him by asking him "When have you ever followed orders?", to which Tech finally breaks free of the reconditioning on his own ("We do not need help. We will figure out a solution, as we always do").
Without thinking twice, Tech shoots Scorch to disarm him but in turn Scorch tackles him off the railing and they both fall; Tech manages to throw a grappling hook on the bridge and Wrecker, crawling on his side, is able to catch the rope before it snaps. Tech is still dangling for his life while Scorch is still clutching his leg, but Wrecker, despite his injuries, is not willing to let him go this time. The tension is high, and the ship for Hemlock has finally arrived, but Omega manages to stay calm and collected and so do Hunter and Crosshair. Just like in the show, she manages to stab Hemlock, allowing Crosshair to shoot the handcuffs with Hunter as a "tripod". Finally free from Hemlock, Omega rushes to help Tech, grabbing his hand after he finally manages to kick away Scorch. After everyone is safe, Wrecker starts to embrace Tech with all the strength he has left, crying as he promises that he'll never let him fall again, while Omega runs to Crosshair and Hunter, and they hug just like in the show: that scene was perfect, so I wouldn't change it one bit. Then of course there is a whole group hug (Echo may join as well), with a softer, yet triumphal variation of the main theme in the background.
After the clones are back on the ship, headed to Pabu, Tech apologizes to his brothers for the harm he caused as Hemlock's puppet, describing how terrible it was to act as a soulless assassin while desperately struggling with his mind to break free. Crosshair apologizes to Tech for choosing the Empire over them and for indirectly causing his fall and capture. Tech reassures him not to feel guilty about it, and says that he made his choice when he executed Plan 99, and that, if he could go back, he would still do it, though Hunter jokingly orders him to never do that again, with Omega immediately backing him up. And I don't think I would need to add anything else after this. The rest can go on pretty much as in the original episode; we only need to spare a minute for a proper reunion between Tech and Phee ("Better late than dead") and of course everyone will be sitting under that tree in the end.
And there you have it, this is the best I could come up with after letting my mind wander for a couple of hours. Could have this been plausible? Maybe not. Is it perfect? Definitely not. Is it better than the original ending? I'll let you be the judge to that. But I still wanted to share it with you guys, as a testament to how much I love this show and these characters. Thank you, if you managed to stick this far; whether you liked it or not, hopefully I managed to entertain you a little with my ramblings. Have a good day, and may the Force be with you, always.

2024.06.01 15:13 littlelordboy Bumble founder in support of AI dating

I was at a private event in LA yesterday, and Bumble founder Whitney Herd is apparently supporting this new AI startup founded by two ex-Bumble engineers called Instadate AI, saying it's the future of online dating.
She noted that AI will help with being more authentic, as it removes certain emotions such as "desperation, neediness, and power-plays", citing AI will be better at playing the numbers game since they can "represent" their users without emotions, especially as emotions can't transcend text communication.
The most controversial thing she said though was that women tend to be more against the use of AI by men, since the usage of AI in dating would remove the women's only tool of getting free attention, as it's known that modern dating apps – were women are unfairly favored in numbers and algorithmically – essentially use men as cash-cows.
This reddit post nails it https://www.reddit.com/TrueAskReddit/comments/whpxuw/dating_app_statistics_show_than_women_are/

How to Choose the Right Summer Perfume

When selecting a summer perfume, it's important to consider the environment and activities you'll be engaging in. Here are a few tips to help you choose the perfect scent:
  1. Opt for Lighter Scents: Heavy, musky fragrances can be overwhelming in the heat. Choose lighter, fresher scents with citrus, aquatic, or green notes.
  2. Consider Longevity: Summer heat can cause fragrances to evaporate quickly. Look for perfumes with good longevity so you can stay fresh throughout the day.
  3. Match the Occasion: Different occasions call for different scents. A casual day at the beach might require a lighter fragrance, while an evening event might call for something a bit more sophisticated.
  4. Test Before You Buy: Always test a fragrance on your skin before purchasing. The scent can change based on your body chemistry, and what smells great on a tester strip might smell different on you.

Application Tips for Summer Fragrances

To make the most of your summer perfume, follow these application tips:
  1. Apply to Pulse Points: Apply your fragrance to pulse points such as your wrists, neck, and behind your ears. These areas emit heat, helping to diffuse the scent.
  2. Don’t Overdo It: Less is more when it comes to applying fragrance, especially in the summer. A couple of spritzes should be enough to keep you smelling great without overwhelming those around you.
  3. Layer Your Scents: Use matching scented body wash and moisturizer to enhance the longevity of your perfume.
  4. Store Properly: Heat and light can degrade your fragrance. Store your perfume in a cool, dark place to maintain its quality.

Conclusion

Choosing the right summer perfume is essential for staying fresh and confident in the heat. With these top picks, you can unleash your summer vibe and make a lasting impression wherever you go. Whether you prefer a classic aquatic scent, a luxurious citrus blend, or a unique coastal aroma, there's a perfect fragrance out there for you. So, spritz on your favorite summer perfume, embrace the season, and enjoy the sunshine!

2024.06.01 15:11 Upper-Ear-688 [QCrit]: INTO THE WILDEWOOD, Adult Fantasy (120k, 3rd Attempt) + First 300

Hi, PubTips. I’ve reworked my query, taking out most of the world building to keep it short and simple and hopefully more impactful. Wondering what you think about the first line being a question posed to the agent and if you think that’s an effective way to pull them in. Thanks!
Dear [agent],
What if you woke up one day and realized that not only are you a powerful witch, but that those closest to you are as well? This is what happens to Rowan after she witnesses a soldier casting a spell, reversing a curse on magic that was placed before she was born. Unfortunately, that soldier has also kidnapped her twin brother.
With her powers awakened, Rowan is thrust into the world of the rebels- witches and mortals who are aligning with the intention of overthrowing the corrupt mortal king. A king who not only ordered the curse years ago, but who is also imprisoning witches in his palace, stealing their magic for himself.
As she navigates her new reality, Rowan meets Hawke, a mysterious witch with captivating green eyes from whom Rowan can’t seem to look away. As her relationship with him morphs from disdain to fiery passion, she finds her magic growing along with her heart.
But when Rowan reaches the capital to free her brother, she realizes that not all rebels have the same agenda, and not all can be trusted.
INTO THE WILDEWOOD is a 120,000 word adult fantasy novel, and can stand alone or serve as the first in a series. A story of familial bonds- both blood and chosen- it will appeal to fans of Rebecca Ross’ Divine Rivals due to its enemies to lovers romance, as well as fans of Adrienne Young’s Spells for Forgetting due to its mysterious settings, deceitful undertones, and plot twists. Based on your own interest in —-, I believe that you will enjoy my novel.
I watched the carriage approaching, fog creeping along the path behind it as the Royal Guard drew near. It wasn’t the first time that soldiers from the capital had come to stay at the Institute, but as we had been preparing for their arrival that morning, an uneasy feeling had been growing in my gut. Perhaps it was the dreams of the Wildewood that had been haunting my sleep the past few nights that had me so on edge; whatever the cause, I felt dread building in my chest. The caravan stopped in front of the Institute and the door opened silently, as if even the hinges were holding their breath. Broad black horses stamped the ground uneasily as I studied the soldiers exiting the carriage. The men, a dozen in total, wore the black and gold tunics of the capital on their chests, arrogance radiating off of them in thick waves. As the last soldier filled the carriage doorframe, my heart stopped. The captain had his chin tucked as he stepped out, but as he lifted his head and came to his full height, his eyes found mine. I felt a sharp heat scald my palms as our eyes locked, and my breath hitched. I tried to drag my gaze from his, but found that I could look at nothing but those eyes: deep brown, nearly black, and soulless. There was something about this man that made my heart race, feet rooted to the earth no matter how hard I struggled to break free from the spell of that sinister glare. All around him, darkness pulsed.

2024.06.01 15:11 NoProgrammer1781 Drz issues after rewriring

Hey guys,
So my bike was stolen a few years ago, the guy just hot wired it so he cut off some cables and touched them together, I just finished putting the whole bike together, new gas tanks, plastics, battery. For the wiring I just cut off the connector for the ignition and soldered all the wires (black on black, red with red etc) the bike started fine drove it a bit it was fine then went on a longer ride 15-20 minutes and parked it and it wouldn’t start. Basically the dash lights up and everything except when I hit the starter there’s no noise or nothing, the front light dims but just nothing. I also did put a new headlight but don’t think that would be the issue? Anybody have an idea of what it could be? Sorry for the long paragraph but hope someone could help!

2024.06.01 15:09 HiggsBosonPearTickle Is there a way to dye this polyester shirt without using idye poly?

I’ve used idye poly in the past and the results are great but I live in an apartment and the odor is so bad that my neighbors complained about it for two days. So I need a new method.
I’m going for something darker and more neutral — gray, brown or black. The only idea I had was to use soy sauce because I know I’ve ruined a couple poly shirts that way…
Any help is appreciated!

So my girlfriend has her birthday on 23rd of June and during normal conversations I realized that she wants a “brown eye shadow palette”
After searching it on google, nykaa and random websites I find it extremely difficult to narrow down on one (too much variety in terms of price and brand) as I know nothing about the quality or any other metric that makes y’all buy good make up.
Help me out. My budget is 2-3.5k (not less not more) for the same. She has a fair complexion and loves to apply blush. <<<< just putting this information if in case it helps yall recommending me something.
Also, have been trying to find a women subReddit since so long. Came across twoX and realised they don’t allow men to post there. This is a cue for yall to open an Indian women subReddit which also allows men to post.

Whether draped over a couch, folded at the end of a bed, or casually tossed over an armchair, these sophisticated accessories add a touch of luxury and comfort to any space. From plush textures to minimalist designs, black throw blankets can seamlessly integrate into various interior styles, making them a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their home décor. Here are some inspiring ideas to help you incorporate these stylish pieces into your living spaces.

1. Modern Minimalist Appeal

For those who appreciate a clean, modern aesthetic, a black throw blanket is an excellent choice. Its simplicity complements minimalist interiors perfectly. Look for throws with subtle textures, such as a knitted or woven design, to add visual interest without overwhelming the space. Pair a black throw with neutral-toned furniture and decor to maintain a sleek and uncluttered look. This approach works exceptionally well in living rooms or bedrooms that feature a monochromatic color scheme, emphasizing the blanket as both a functional and decorative piece.

2. Cozy and Inviting Living Rooms

A black throw blanket can transform your living room into a cozy retreat. Opt for a soft, plush black throw to add warmth and comfort to your seating area. Whether you prefer a faux fur blanket or a thick, knitted option, the rich black hue creates a striking contrast against lighter-colored furniture. To create an inviting ambiance, layer the black throw with other pillows and blankets in various textures and complementary colors. This layering technique not only enhances the comfort level but also adds depth and dimension to your décor.

3. Sophisticated Bedroom Accents

In the bedroom, a black throw blanket can serve as a chic accent piece. Drape it over the foot of the bed to create a focal point and add a touch of elegance to your bedding ensemble. For a luxurious feel, choose a throw with a velvet or satin finish. These materials catch the light beautifully, adding a subtle sheen to your décor. Pair the black throw with crisp white linens or metallic accents to create a sophisticated and balanced look. This combination is perfect for master bedrooms or guest rooms where you want to impress with understated luxury.

4. Stylish Outdoor Spaces

Don't limit the use of black throw blankets to indoor spaces. They can also enhance the look of your outdoor seating areas. Imagine a cool evening spent on your patio or balcony, wrapped in a cozy black throw. Choose blankets made from durable, weather-resistant materials to ensure they withstand outdoor conditions. Black throws can complement a variety of outdoor furniture styles, from modern wicker to rustic wooden pieces. They not only provide warmth but also add a touch of elegance to your outdoor gatherings.

5. Bohemian Chic Vibes

For a bohemian-inspired space, a black throw blanket can add a grounding element to the eclectic mix of colors and patterns typical of this style. Look for black throws with intricate patterns or fringe details to enhance the boho vibe. These blankets can be draped over a colorful couch or layered with other patterned throws and pillows. The contrast between the black throw and the vibrant bohemian elements creates a balanced and visually appealing look. This approach works well in living rooms, bedrooms, or even creative studio spaces.

6. Textural Harmony in Neutral Spaces

Neutral color palettes are a popular choice for many homes due to their calming and versatile nature. In such settings, a black throw blanket can add a layer of depth and sophistication. Choose throws with interesting textures like cable knit, herringbone, or faux fur to introduce a tactile element to your décor. The black throw will stand out against the soft, neutral tones, creating a striking yet harmonious look. This idea is particularly effective in spaces with beige, gray, or cream color schemes, where the black throw serves as a bold accent piece.

7. Statement Pieces in Artistic Interiors

For those who love to make a statement with their décor, a black throw blanket can be a key piece in artistic and avant-garde interiors. Consider throws with unique designs, such as geometric patterns, abstract prints, or embroidered details. These blankets can be draped over statement furniture pieces like an iconic armchair or a modern chaise lounge. The black color acts as a canvas that highlights the intricate designs, making the throw a work of art in itself. This approach is ideal for creative spaces, contemporary living rooms, or home offices where style and creativity are paramount.

8. Timeless Elegance in Traditional Settings

Even in traditional or classic interiors, black throw blankets can play a significant role. Opt for throws made from luxurious materials like cashmere, wool, or silk. These blankets can be elegantly draped over a leather sofa, a vintage armchair, or the foot of a canopy bed. The black color adds a touch of timeless elegance, enhancing the classic charm of your décor. Pair the throw with other traditional elements like antique furniture, ornate rugs, and classic artwork to create a cohesive and refined look.
In conclusion, black throw blankets are incredibly versatile and can adapt to a wide range of interior styles. Whether you're aiming for modern minimalism, cozy comfort, bohemian chic, or timeless elegance, there's a black throw blanket that can elevate your space. Explore different textures, patterns, and materials to find the perfect throw that complements your décor and reflects your personal style.

2024.06.01 15:05 SuddenReturn9027 Ariana stalking Nomi

May be a reach...Nomi (Mac Miller's ex-girlfriend) said her favourite show was SpongeBob. Since Mac tried to get her back and not Arianka before he died, I wonder if her bonking Sponge Boy has anything to do with it. Nomi's favourite movie was Jaws and I remember Areola suddenly talking a lot about having a Jaws birthday party when she was a kid - a super random detail to constantly bring up in like every single interview. She also wore the exact same jumpsuit that Nomi had previously worn for her Baby I music video as well as constantly wearing circular sunglasses at the time (and again now) which Nomi was more known for doing. Nomi was a theatre kid on YouTube so I wouldn't be surprised if Aritha basically stalked her and learned how to be her to take Mac. Nomi was always very shy and this when Arthello entered her shy, anxiety era. Nomi has also always been a very vocal women's rights advocate/feminist (which eerily reminds me of Lily Jay - maybe Arvin and her chipmunks are threatened by strong women). Again, around this time, Arfield jumps on the wagon seemingly out of nowhere. It seems like these aren't issues (womens' equality rights) that would be pressing on her mind - considering how she lets men treats hehow she treats other women - so I wouldn't be surprised if she was just saying all the right things and kept at it long-term because it became popular so could benefit her career. Nomi also said Jessica Alba was her girl crush and Arfar's original surgery was very Jessica Alba-esque - she even got a photo with her and they looked practically identical. These girls could just have a bunch of things in common and maybe Mac had a type (Nomi did forgive him for cheating on her with Arianahnahnah, putting the blame on herself and I love Mac but maybe it was easier to go for women with low self-esteem?) yet Nomi seems so genuine and consistent in what she likes whilst King Ari VIII sort of picks up trends like iced coffees from Starbucks. Oh, wait, she stopped going to Starbucks because she now only shops at black-owned businesses that she got a photo at one time before going straight back to Starbucks. I also hate how she's been trying to copy Britney Spears so bad lately. It's giving personality disorder (not to shame people who deal with this but she needs to recognise whatever's going on so she can deal with it). And I don't know if she's on too many drugs or not enough but Arizona is on the wrong amount
