So we have 4 teenagers going off to college or military currently. Plus 2 littles ending prek and 3rd grade this school year. I'm starting a new teaching position at a new district next school year. 3 of the next 4 weekends are planned out for major events including a week long camping trip at end of week 4 and family reunions, visits to my son in the in the navy at his a school. Total chaos. So my SO says the front end of the truck we pull the camper with needs to be replaced before all this travel. No problem. You create an eBay account and order things yourself. So they do. They entered the address wrong. North state Rd instead of South. So 5 packages from different sellers all routed to some other random non existent spot. Plus they ordered the wrong size tires. I don't know why I didn't just do it myself. Its been nuts. I guess women are better at that kinda stuff than men because our brains are different. I'm just tired of being in charge of everything that has to do with technology or appointments etc. I know he does the other stuff I don't want to do but dammit man

Help me out here drivers, how much do I need to tip to keep drivers from making other stops? All my orders are from within 10 minutes of driving and I try to tip in the 4-6 dollar range. Is this not enough? Like I've had a 5 dollar tip on 7 minute drive head to another stop, leaving me with melted ice cream and a cold burger.
Am I unreasonable to think that seems like a good tip for a short drive?

My(F26) dad passed away suddenly 4 days ago. I’ve posted on here before about fearing for my life and safety because my ex (M28) became unhinged and began stalking me in real life and harassing me online after our divorce. I filed for an order of protection 2 months ago but it has not been finalized or granted yet. He was an alcoholic and would drink to the point of shitfaced every night without fail by the second year of our marriage. As soon as he cracked open his bottle of vodka after work he’d get argumentative, verbally abusive, and physically abusive. I’ve been an emotional wreak since my dad died and on the walk to his burial site at the funeral while holding my moms hand I spotted him ahead of me in the crowd and my heart fell to my stomach. I was mortified and stopped dead in my tracks. I felt like my brain was malfunctioning. He didn’t approach me and kept his distance throughout the entire service but I spent the whole time reliving the abuse just at the sheer site of him when I should have been grieving my father. How can a person be so evil? On the worst day of my life my abuser won again.

I've been steadily working toward completing my Gen V national dex in Black 2. I compiled my gen 4 & 5 saves onto a flash cart and have been using pkmn chest in order to transfer everything. After a few days of steady work I finally completed the dex. I got my diplomas & my medals, but when I talked with Juniper and she began to give me my rewards something odd occurred. She gave me the permit and oval charm no problem, but when it came time for the shiny charm in its place was an item called "???" And had the description of "A rare stone"
I'm not sure what caused this. Maybe the fact I'm on a flash cart? I found out later this item is called the God Stone and was cut from the game. I couldn't find why I was given this instead of the shiny charm.
I panicked, however, and injected the charm into my game after disposing of the god stone. Have I screwed up and just need to restart everything or will it still give me the adjusted shiny odds since I've still completed the dex?

Hi fellow purse lovers! Just wanted to share my the real real experiences with you all. I have used them over the years never with a problem but this year has been a trip.
I started consigning with them back in January. It was a mess getting my items up. They had half going to a wrong account which made no sense since I dropped all items off together. Once that was sorted I had to fight with them to get the incentive credits that you get for first time selling and for having item worth over a certain amount. So while that was annoying it was not as annoying as what came next.
I purchase a Marcie crossbody marked as Very Good and it’s only listed condition issues were relaxed due to wear. The bag shows up and the strap is broken. The hardware that holds the strap on are broken off and the strap is rigged together with $4 pegs from Amazon. I had to FIGHT to get them to return the bag at no fault or cost to me. They kept telling me too bad basically and I had to keep escalating up to a higher person.
Next I order the cutest pair of sneakers. Listed as a women’s 10.5. They arrive and they are a MENS 10.5. Also had to keep escalating up because same as the last they were telling me they are as listed. Finally got them to do a return at their cost not mine.
Then today about a month later a purse I ordered arrived. I checked the listing before purchasing to make sure it is leather. It says in 3 spots on the listing that the bag is leather. But no, the bag is that plastic fake leather. So I spent over an hour today arguing with them about it saying it’s leather and I never would have paid that much for a plastic bag.
So after that I went and switched my payouts to direct deposit and will let my last bag I have on there sell and take my funds and walk away.
The best part of my call today was them telling me they can assure me that after bringing this issue to their attention today, I do not need to stop buying from them because they promise it will not happen again I said you can not promise that, the shoes I returned are back up at the wrong size and the purse is back up as very good and does not say the strap is broke. I have messaged multiple times and no one cares so you this absolutely is going to happen again.
So sorry for the giant vent but thought maybe someone else could benefit from me airing my frustrations and take their money to one of the many other resale sites!!

Howdy and Happy Victoria Day to my fellow Canadians o/

Intro: I'm CSRyl and I recently decided I wanted to 100% SA2 after recently rediscovering it for the umpteenth time in my life. Not much to tell for the reason why. I played the game a lot when I was a kid as I'm sure a lot of anyone reading this did and I feel ready to take it serious and complete the game. As I did back then I'll be doing this completely on the gamecube version of the game.

Starting today these journals will be starring a new number! No longer 'Quest for 3266', but for 3375. Thanks to insight and tips from u/Affectionate_Yard I now know that Sonic Adventure 2 (SA2) has a soft cap of 4000 for chao stats though they may not be achievable without hacking the game. I won't speak the entirety story as its not really mine to tell but apparently in the Tiny Chao Garden (TCG) there is the possibility to get +31 on level ups in the Sonic Advance games AND those numbers will show in SA2.. So with that being said if I'm on this journey anyways I may as well go all the way. I've already ordered the link cable and Sonic Advance 2, have my old GBA SP, and I'm going to complete the game around finishing Cheese's current life. I've already run my numbers and have 2 more lives before I complete her 100%.
Weekly Recap:
This week I hit my goals exactly as I've hoped which I am absolutely satisfied with (honestly I'm sure I could have done even more but I felt like golfing yesterday). I'm also worried about this my progress as Cheese is older than I would have hoped she would be (currently 4 years) and I'm not sure if I can make the cutoff with finishing Fly, Swim, and Run. I've decided to gun it and see if I can make the cutoff. They're all 12 from last week so its not like I'm entirely from square 1. I've got a pretty fluid system now for my resets and even moved my gamecube to my bedroom that makes my setup SO much more comfortable, its literally beside me while I sit up lol. All in all good week with just as much planned for the next.

This week I'll be looking to finish Swim and Fly, both to 99. Run is last because catching a chao with high run is just nightmare fuel by itself and Cheese's clock is already ticking for reincarnation. I have Monday off and meal prep for the week ahead is ready so I'm looking to do as much as I can tonight and tomorrow.

Howdy! I just finished up my first year in the Texas A&M Engineering program as an out-of-state student and have enjoyed my time on campus so far. I chose A&M over other schools that also had amazing engineering programs for the campus culture and vibe that was significantly different from everywhere else I visited. I have no family members in Texas nor any family/friend connection to the school, so I am appreciative of everyone I have met so far, for the people I am to meet in the future, and those who make the Aggie experience the one it is! Especially for the fact that it makes me feel like I have a home outside of my home!
With campus culture aside, financially, I am in a bit of a pickle. I was aware of this issue before going to A&M, but it was a more of a gamble on whether this would play out my way properly, but one I was willing to take in order to be an Aggie. For context, I received 0 scholarships with my acceptance letter for attending the institution, and countered my offer to the financial aid office based on the fact I had a 35 on the ACT and was ranked in the top 4% of my high school class of about 550 students. With this in mind, the school gave me a mere $4000, and not per semester, in total. Meaning, only $500 per semester for 4 years when my tuition which costs about $19,000 per semester. Essentially, nothing. The reason I was able to attend A&M was only based on the fact that my grandparents had a college fund built up for me and that I won a bunch of scholarship competitions that paid off the first year. While I can work a job to pay for food and get some help regarding living expenses from my parents, we cannot afford to pay this on top of almost $40,000 of tuition per year. Even more so as I have 2 younger brothers that will soon attend college. I would have to go into debt next year – assuming I do not receive any additional scholarships – and this jeopardizes my life for about the next 15-20 years as I did want to attend grad school immediately after undergrad.
I initially took a gamble financially on this school as there is a policy that declares that out-of-state students can get an automatic in-state tuition waiver if a student receives $4000 of scholarship from the university. Not other organizations, just simply whatever scholarships are directly affiliated with Texas A&M, and I believe this is specifically through the University Scholarship Application. Prior to committing to the school, I thought that this would be a feasible threshold to obtain as I knew my work ethic and that I would do anything to alleviate the financial burdens of not only myself, but also my family and to give my younger brothers a chance to attend the college of their dreams. Regarding my stats, I would like to think I am a competitive student as I earned a 4.0 GPA, I was in an academic student organization related to my major, an additional academic club (not-related to major but just out of interest), and a sport/recreational club. However, while in Texas, I have learned the "state rivalry" between my home state of California and Texas is for some reason a real thing outside the internet. I am concerned that this rivalry, while sounding farfetched, may screw me out of reaching this $4000 threshold. To note, the only scholarships that apply to the $4000 threshold are ones that are deemed as "competitive scholarships." Meaning, scholarships where not only a pool of out-of-state are being considered, or only in-state, but rather both groups being viewed in the same pool of applicants for a scholarship. The only reason I voice this concern is because this legit happened in the past to me with the stats I had in high school before coming to A&M. I have heard stories from other out-of-state students (from different states than mine and similar stats in high school) have either their out-of-state tuition waived or had a full tuition/ride scholarship given to them by the university. Furthermore, with Texas pride as a probable bias toward those on scholarship committees, I am concerned I will not be even fairly evaluated as a majority of the money will just be given to less or equally competitive individuals due the fact their families currently reside in Texas. This also was a common occurrence I ran into at Texas A&M, as a good amount of in-state students received something from the school prior to attending the university.
I would also like to note that obtaining residency in the state would not necessarily be the difficult part, it would be for the school to recognize me as an in-state resident for tuition purposes. With all this in mind, here are my questions below that I have.

1. What are the odds I have at receiving the threshold of $4000 to get the in-state waiver?
2. If I don't receive the $4000 threshold, I will likely be only able to pay for another semester maximum without going into the trenches of student debt. What would be the best course of action from here? Do I go back to my local community college and then see if I can transfer with scholarship to an in-state university? Do I stick it out at A&M and go into debt or potentially go to a community college in Texas, obtain residency, then transfer back?

I apologize for the long post, and I will take any helpful advice into consideration!

We are pleased to announce we will begin working on Super Discord Bros. 6 (SDB6) in June, right on time for the 5th year anniversary of the release of SMM2. This time, the project will be in the SMB3 style.
This is an open call for any makers interested in contributing a traditional style level to this project.
What is Super Discord Bros?
Super Discord Bros are collaborative projects started from this sub and its related discord to create full, traditional style games in Mario Maker.
A total of 5 full games have been produced so far - 4 of them in SMM1 - Super Discord World (SDW), Super Discord Bros. 3 (SDB3), Super Discord Bros. 1 (SDB1) and New Super Discord Bros. U (NSDBU); and Super Discord World 2 (SDW2) for SMM2.
Through the 5 previous projects, over 90 makers from this community have contributed levels.
How can I contribute to SDB6?
If you would like to be a part of the project and contribute a level you can DM or send a chat directly to me. Invites will be open until Friday May 31st, and work on the level will begin in June.
We have prepared a discord server for the project where all the relevant information is stored. You will be able to brainstorm ideas with the other makers, submit your levels for feedback and project leader approval.
It doesn’t matter if you are new to the game, or a seasoned pro with multiple badges everyone is welcome. The most important thing is that you can

• meet the project guidelines and deadlines
• commit to not erasing the level once the level has been approved,
• be open to receiving and implementing feedback

So basically here is the backstory after a week of enduring knee pain, after finally seeing a orthopedic. Who by the way originally thought I(M/25) torn a meniscus. Because the X-ray did not show anything no sort of defect. To which after only getting an MRI was I diagnosed with this, a hairline fracture which I'm going to assume was at the top part of my tibia since the MRI was taken at that part.
So what I would like to know is this, all he basically gave me was some crutches and "functional ACL Brace". He told me not to bear weight which I understand, but the brace is what I'm wondering about. He sent me over to clinic that specializes in orthopedic medical equipment. And basically at the clinic the manager told me they would charge me a high amount on my deductible. So she spoke with the main doctor I'm assuming, to which she said it would take over 4 weeks for the brace to be produced and he would charge me 500 out of pocket rather than me having to pay the high deductible. But this is what I'm wondering, she gave me this link to an Amazon brace which the manger claimed it's basically almost identical to the brace they would produce for me. She gave me tape and told me to measure my knee and order according to the size. She basically she said it would cheaper and faster for me to order the brace from amazon. But what I'm wondering is will it be sufficient to help my tibia heal faster, or should I just pay for to get it produced. Here is the brace

So I think I gapped this E4 jungler (during a norms game) today playing nidalee vs eve in a 40 min game (13/5/8 7.4csm, 3 grubs 1 baron 3 drags vs 7/10/13 4/7 csm 1 baron 2 drags 1 herald.) He was flaming me said that he did better because he did more damage (eve 25,607 and me 24,394.)
Basically how the game went was that my team got some kills early on, eve kept ganking lanes and invading me but failed most of the time (only started to get kills late game due to poor positioning from my team) and I kept on counter-jungling him, taking quadrants and sometimes his entire jungle)
I ended up doing the second lowest amount of damage in the game, but I attested this to focusing alot on counter jungling and only taking high probability ganks and trying not to force fights. Should I focus more on my damage output?

My husband and I, along with 2 couples we're friends with (all early-mid 40s) decided to go on a backpack/hammock camping trip. All of us, except my husband are experienced campers. I was very surprised he wanted to go, but also happy he wanted to participate in an activity I enjoy.
Before the camping trip, we all met up multiple times, and discussed what to bring and agreed we needed to pack as lightly as possible. We would be carrying everything in backpacks and sleeping in hammocks. My husband also agreed with this.
The day of the trip my husband packed, 8 outfits, 5 pairs of shoes, 4 pairs of swim trunks, and 5 pairs of pajamas, along with an inflatable queen size mattress, matching sheet and comforter set, battery operated air pump, portable white noise machine, laptop, tablet, portable hotspot and charger. There was some other stuff but I don't recall what those were. Naturally, he packed more than anyone else.
When we arrived with our friends to our destination, it was a several mile hike to where we planned to set up at. My husband started trying to delegate to the others who should carry what of his stuff. I told him we all agreed that we'd each carry our own gear and that meant he's responsible for his. He argued back saying he had more than he could handle and needed help. I reminded him that he knew how much to pack, there would be lots of hiking, and he didn't bother to use a backpack but instead 2 full size roller suitcases. He told me I'm being petty and he's new to this so give him a break. He then tried getting our friends on his side by pointing out how it's his first time camping and he didn't know what to do. I interjected and said he'd been part of all our meetings to prepare and he'd heard everything that was said and chose to disregard it. I then encouraged our friends to stick to our agreement of everyone carries their own stuff and said it's not fair to me or anyone else in our group to put extra burden on ourselves by carrying my husband's stuff because he made the poor decision to grossly over pack. After a short debate everyone else ended up agreeing with me and my husband had to carry his own geastuff.
My husband ended up being far more worn out than the rest of us because of how much he had to carry. Now he's tired, cranky and sore, and still saying I was unreasonable to expect him to carry all of that on his own.
AITA for making my husband carry what he packed?

He's admitted that he's clueless about jewelry, so he told me to just show him what I want. I was originally set on an Asscher cut lab diamond, but I saw a gorgeous pear cut blue sapphire on Etsy that I just fell in love with. It was also less expensive than the diamond, which we were both happy about!
So I know it's coming, but I don't know when he's going to propose. The anticipation is already driving me crazy!
