Hi everyone, I want to share my recent experience about how I got scammed by a phony premium phone cases website called "Floral Cases." Before explaining the whole scam/incident, let me share the website URL's and also their Instragram pages:

As a thumb rule, if you see this address listed in the "contact us" section of any phone case website, then please avoid it like a plague:
"Techway Enterprises - G2, 94, Jagdish Nagar, Hapur Road, Ghaziabad, Ghaziabad-201001."
I was looking for a phone case for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and searching for it on the internet (Google, Amazon, Flipkart and other places). Suddenly, this targeted ad about a premium iPhone case appeared on my Instragram. I liked the case, so I visited the website. To be honest, I did find the website okay and they were also offering the "cash on delivery" option, so I placed an order for a case worth Rs. 1499 thinking that they must be legit because they aren't asking for the advance payment.
After confirming the order, they shipped the order very next day through Shiprocket company who provided the AWB number from Bluedart. I checked the Bluedart website and I could track my order on Bluedart website. They even delivered the order, but when I opened the package I found that it was just a Rs. 100 cheap plastic cover. I tried to call all the phone numbers listed on their website, but they were all fake. They didn't respond to any email as well.
I also contacted the courier company "Ship Rocket" on the very same day of receiving the order, but they were completely useless. I asked them to hold the payment, but they said please contact the seller directly we can't do anything.
So, guys please beware and do not order anything from this Instragram page called Floral Cases and these two websites own by same company are fake: floralcases.com iphoneoutfitters.in
My friend also placed an cash on delivery order and again someone from Ship Rocket came to deliver that order, but my friend refused it. I guess they process all the cash on delivery orders without checking if it a genuine order or not. I don't have so much time on my hand, if I did I would love to place multiple "cash on delivery" orders on this website by entering fake address and phone number to make them lose the shipping charges, but don't think I will do that : P
I filled a complaint with National Cyber Crime portal, not becuase I lost Rs. 1499, but because I don't want this to be happen to someone else. I don't think they will take action on this, but I did it anyway. This is not "cry for help" post, I just want to educate you guys (in case you haven't heard of these types of scams before). Thanks :)

This morning I got a bunch of 2FA requests for a bank I don't bank with. These were the type "Here is your [bank] ID Code: 123456 Enter this code online. Do not share this code. We'll never call or text for this code. This code expires in 10 minutes." They look like legit codes from a bank but it's not my bank, so obviously a scam. I ignored them, but should I do any other follow up to protect myself?
They come from a "notification number" that I can't block because I get legitimate 2fa codes from there. I'm not going to change my phone number, obviously. Do I need to change any passwords or give an alert to the bank named in the texts or anything else?

I’m at almost 9 months of unemployment. I’ve applied for thousands of jobs that I am super qualified for. I have 25 years of customer service experience. I’ve used every CRM you can think of. I’ve done tech support and success management. The only responses I get are “sorry too many applicants and you weren’t selected” or complex scams. I just got one this morning that took me an hour of digging to find it was a scam. The email was from the company domain. Website is legit. The recruiter wanted to pay me with a check I can “print out and mobile deposit”. I tried calling the main number and no answer. I called a satellite location and they told me it’s a scam. It’s super frustrating and I feel like I’ll never get a job. This sucks

Have you thought about buying Instagram followers, but are worried about the possible consequences? While it is possible to get burned buying followers, countless peoplw have done it with good success. You just need to be careful. Here are some tips.
Never pay with bitcoin.
If your seller only accepts Bitcoin, there is a reason for it. Once you send Bitcoin, it is gone and there is nothing you can do if you get scammed. Pay with credit card or PayPal and you have some recourse. Legit sellers will accept multiple forms of payments.
Read reviews.
Search for the company name and see what comes up. The scammers will usually have lots of results. If you find nothing, this is equally bad because they may have be a company that changes their name to escape bad press.
Use moderation.
Don't get carried away. Keep the amount of followers that you buy under control. Preferably, do not buy more followers than you already have.

Got a call from a girl who says she is from course guru and calling regarding engineering admission… few mins into the call I got quotes that are 3-4 Lakhs less then all the other agents, is this a scam??

I recently saw a post saying “hiring trip planner assistants”. I inquired about the job and started doing it. It looks and sounds so sketchy but interestingly I am being paid. I have to go to their website and basically just click on buttons called “journeys”, “complete” and then get redeemed. Sometimes the account balance gets automatically negative and they call it “good luck”, that it means you got a package you will get paid higher. But in order to click on the journey buttons the balance should be positive. And to make it positive I have to charge it from my own account, convert it to crypto and then deposit into the website account. The money goes back into my account on their website and then I click on the journey buttons and then after some repeated clicks I get able to withdraw the balance. I then get it into my crypto wallet and then sell the cryptos to get it in money. I do get paid decently but it’s highly shady… Does anyone know what it is about? Is it a scam?

Learning new info on the masters bullshit and seeing how she manipulated the situation for her profit - I’m honestly just disgusted. Not surprised, but disgusted nonetheless. Like, this whole scam is almost impressive as it’s so easy to access more information than just Taylor’s word. First of all.. it’s not like she gets nothing from the old versions and Scooter doesn’t even own them anymore, either, so the whole hysteria around listening to the OGs is ridiculous in the first place.
Second of all - she took all of their charm away with the new production, robotic (admittedly stronger and less pitchy, I’ll give her that) vocals and delivery and most of all trying to reimagine them (RED is maybe the ‘fall album’ for some people but the New England summer old money vintage aesthetic she had going on is leagues above the boring Evermore shoot outtakes she used for this version, and 1989 is a city album, like, that was objectively its whole thing and it was how it was marketed, so why is she on the beach? What the fuck is up with her hair??? Just get a wig if your billions can’t buy you a good hair service that knows how to do a faux bob ffs). I liked Fearless and SN because her voice is miles better and the production was alright, but everything just seems so.. disconnected and half-assed, which is my main point. Like - why is the SN TV cover photo mirrored? It looks so off. Why is the Fearless cover that disgusting tint? Just do a sunlit shoot.. there are legit production/mixing issues (the ATW glitch for instance).. is it to drive home the point that they’re a pAsSiOn PrOjEcT? Or just because she knows there will always be demand for her no matter how low quality the stuff she puts out is and can’t be bothered?
Learning the tea on how she refused to cooperate with Borchetta and getting a glimpse of how it all went down through the POV of the other side (not saying they’re not lying or trying to make themselves look better because of course, but so is Taylor, so it’s def worth to at least acknowledge that there are, in fact, two sides to this story) makes me more convinced than ever that she just saw an opportunity to capitalize on a deal not going her way and figuring out how to be the ultimate victim and the whole ‘Scooter bullied me’ saga was just a convenient excuse, even if it maybe was the truth.
She and her cult don’t realize it now, but THIS is what’s going to be her legacy one day. Not being a beacon of girlhood, not being the relatable parasocial bestie, not being a good lyricist, not making catchy beats, not being a solid performer - just being a mediocre rich blonde girl with limited singing ability and basic music that marketed herself to the top. Wonder if she’s able to see that and has some sort of imposter syndrome over it which is why she seems so bitter and inherently unhappy. I completed a project for a company that promised me a payment. And they instructed me to use this bank called elite financial hub.

But they asked me for waay too many fees in order for me to be able to withdraw my money, the fees are expensive too. However, they told me that this 1000$ fee is the last one and there are consequences if I don’t pay it quickly…
I told the accountant of the project that I want to close my account in this bank but he warned me that I can't do that unless I pay my fee/debt and withdraw all my money first or else this would create problems like international appeals will be fired because he said it's an international bank, he also said that my data and passport will be reported to the FBI.
I have 1000$ left as a fee/debt to pay.
I already tried withdrawing all my money but it's still on a "processing stage" for a month now.
Also, this bank's system is like: if you don't pay this fee in a few days, you will pay more because the bank can't trust you (according to them) and now they warned me about blocking my account, I mean it is kinda blocked now but I still have access to it and need to pay this 1000$ or else I will be charged more.
I don't know what to do anymore, I am jobless, all my family members are broke, have only 8$ in my local bank account and can't pay this much in just a few days.
Is this real? Will the FBI come at me if I tried closing my account without paying that fee/debt? The accountant told me that if I do that then it will be considered money laundering and theft.

Checking with you if this role is legit or not. They sent a reply to send cv and cover letter, but they are also asking already for a government ID. Nakakapag taka lang kasi nanghihingi na agad ng govt ID eh magsusubmit palang nmn ng CV. Gov't ID's are personal info's which are given if you are hired already regardless virtual or corporate diba. Specially now a days ginagamit ng mga scammer anywhere else ang ID to scam others. Baka may famillar sa inyo about this company po or you have sent dm expressing your interest as well.. Salamat sa tutugon. :)

I'm furious with Viesapi.eu! I used up 5 of my 5000 requests before I figured out they're charging money for what the EU gives away for FREE. These guys are fakes—posing as an official European Commission service and even stealing the EU logo to look legit. I emailed them to say how ripped off I felt, but I'm not stopping there. They're all over Google Ads, tricking people into thinking they're trustworthy. Don’t fall for it like I did—this company is a scam, just out to make a quick buck off something that should cost nothing. I'm going to make sure they can't do this to anyone else!
