2024.05.19 15:08 LeafeonGreen Question about DPS/TDO Spreadsheet

Lets assume I got a Pikachu with 20 dps and a Charmander with 20 dps
Would they both do around 20 dps against a ghost type or just against their respective weakness? Would they both do an average 20 dps against any raid or under what situation? Are they calculated against a specific pokemon like Mewtwo? Are those 20 dpa their ideal dps, like against a 4 times weak pokemon? Is weakness already calculated in those 20 dps? How is the raid pokemon defense factored in? How is the raid pokemon defense in the game calculated against my atk? If raid pokemon X has 200 def and raid pokemon Y has 100 def, would I do double the dmg against Y?
Thanks!

2024.05.19 03:57 YogiBeefHammer Poison SRS Help

First time pushing this far into the lategame and it's been a blast with this build. My first time doing anything Minion related as well.
I'm finding that my damage is nowhere close to where the POB I've been following is. My helmet, two-stone ring and gloves can be replaced to help maximize my res, but I just don't see where I can fit in more damage to make up for the difference between our builds.
Spectres match and AG has all gear referenced in the build guide/POB.
I don't have an unset ring to run Vaal Haste, but the calculations in POB barely change when swapping that in. Same for Awakened Multistrike.
I'm thinking that it could be that my jewels are just not as insane as theirs, but I can't imagine that's what is making up all that difference in damage.
Here is the POB that I'm following, https://pobb.in/z8I7ibUwjrAL (I believe I've met the gear requirements for the End-Game tree and I've been pushing a lot of my gear towards the Min-Max (Overkill) tree with very little DPS increase.)
Build guide for reference: https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/balormage-summon-raging-spirits-necromancer-pob-passive-skill-tree-gem-links
Here is my current POB, https://pobb.in/9V9QYxLPZjHE
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.

2024.05.19 00:27 iafkk Changes in new season? rewards ? Questions about the new season

So I'm from a server where the new season is coming in about a week's time so I just wanted to get a clearer picture as to what I will be diving into . So these are the few things that I read and understood from what I have seen in this subreddit . As I said, this is from what I have read so please do correct me if I'm wrong !
  1. Noble Path - The new season's noblepath rewards were slightly nerfed, there is no more epic selection chest where we can get a free thoran/rowan/etc and they also removed the 20 epic letters which was replaced by rateup letters(unsure of the amount but I'm assuming 20-30) . Which is people are saying is arguably worse, but personally I think it's a fair trade if they give us slightly more rate up tickets in the noble path (maybe 30-40, I would think 30 is fair since 20 epic letters would be almost pity so 30 rateups would make sense) . Also EXP books are given way lesser in the noble path BUT the amount it takes to level up the characters is significantly lesser as well ( I haven't seen anyone do any calculations or anything yet so I'm not sure if the amount of EXP books they give in both seasons are equal in terms of ratio, would be great if someone can give some insight on this) . Other than these 2 rewards, acorns and soulstones should be the same or if not more than what we got from the first season .
  2. Server ranking rewards (dream realm, arena, glory expedition) - From what I understand, Server rankings are still a thing, I am unsure if the rewards for server ranking remained unchanged or if it's slightly better ( please give me some numbers, I would love to know, I'm sure some people in the newer servers might want to know as well ) . On top of the server rewards, there are also district ranking rewards, which are better rewards than server ranking rewards . Also, I only know Dream Realm has both server and district ranking rewards, I believe arena technically has it as well, except they are seperated, the new supreme arena rewards is basically the district ranking rewards for arena ( at least that's how I see it, I understand it's technically is kind of a completely different thing ) so I kinda want to know if glory expedition has a server reward and a district ranking reward or how does glory expedition work now ?
  3. DPS charts/ranking (honestly quite clueless on this and would love to get more insight) - From what I have seen, since the nerf of true damage, apparently Odie is top dps now, followed by Marilee then comes Alsa/Korin ? I have seen people saying Bryon is a sleeper OP unit as well ? Also I believe that devs(?)/people have been saying/speculating that Marilee/Korin will still be actually STRONG and be better than odie in endless mode with the new artifact .
  4. Dream realm ranking - I believe I saw a post saying that the rankings have been alil buggy or that they haven't made it so that we are able to see both server rankings and district rankings ? Has this issue been fixed ? Are you guys in the new season able to see your server ranking and district ranking, have they been separated out ?
  5. Keith's Treasure Hut - I'm unsure if this is not a thing in the new season, have they completely removed this feature out of the new season or is this still a thing and we are able to get some random XP books, A tier soul stones just from defeating some overworld mobs and get some currency to exchange .
  6. Glory expedition - I mentioned it slightly in point 2 but I'll ASSUME here first that glory expedition points can ONLY be obtained from district rankings if that's the case, are guilds still server locked ? or are we going to be able to invite people from other servers in your district in a guild ?
Lastly, I'm curious as to how they group each district, how many servers are in each district, aren't all if not most servers going into the new season on different days ? I believe there's only maybe 1-2 servers that are created on the same day itself ? If anyone knows any details to this please enlighten me .
So basically these are the points that I have been seeing on reddit and understood and would love to know if I'm wrong on anything and get a clearer picture of what I will be going into in a week's time . If you have made it this far and read everything, please get yourself a cookie, you for sure deserve it ! Apologies if this is messy, there's quite afew things I laid out and honestly this is not my cleanest/neatest work but hopefully my intentions get through . Thanks in advance for all the answers and everyone that read all of this , cheers !

2024.05.18 21:05 Sentin_White Tool for Calculating DPS with Crits?

Is there a tool that I can utilize to calculate DPS with critting every other shot? I am aware of Akarnokd's DPS calculator but it can only be set to crit every shot.
https://akarnokd.github.io/rng-76/weapons.html
I'm trying to decide what's my best DPS option for my power armored heavy. I have read a gatling plasma does the best dps but what about the castor or cremator with being able to crit every other shot?

2024.05.18 13:35 realwes Dear Devs Bring Back the pestilence

Basically what the Header says. The pestilence is so far behind the average LMGs since it got no buffs during Project Resolve. No one is using it, so im asking you to simply buff its damage accordingly within the next Patches.
Also, please upvote so the Devs See it. Thanks
EDIT: Lots of confusion about how damage is calculated. First of all the pesti tics DO NOT BENEFIT from Strikeheartbreaker.
Second the Tic itself IS NOT a big contributor to the Overall DPS, the whole Point of the Post is to make the Base DMG viable again.
Third i dont argue that there are no good builds For Pesti or that its that Bad that you cannot use it. However compared to other LMGs it falls off significantly (including the Tic) so the proposal is as stated above. In other words i want that iconic exotic to be Just that, EXOTIC and not outclassed by random yellow LMGs

2024.05.18 10:01 Ralddy Jelena: The Diamondust Will (Cryo Crystallize Nilou/Chevreuse)

Name: Jelena
Rarity: 5 stars
Nation: Snezhnaya
Vision: Cryo
Weapon: Bow
Stats- HP: 9493 ATK: 192 DEF: 930
Ascension stat: Crit Rate
Jelena is a member of the Snezhnaya adventurer guild that specializes in venturing into the carvenous systems of this frozen land. Of course, her only motivation is not only the feeling of adventure that shares all adventures but also her fascination with collecting stones. Precious stones only available in places so deep and dark, although her reckless attitude is more worrying to her companions than any hidden dangers in the tunnels of Snezhnaya.
The character concept revolves around the cores of geo (shields and DEF) and cryo (criti rate and crit damage) using the crystallize reaction to amplify these properties instead of changing the nature of the crystallize reaction, deriving from there The buffs that give the team, although some may seem exaggerated (like in C0 granting up to 80% Crit DMG) but it was done taking into account that crystallize is a reaction that does not cause damage. She can also act as a quick swap subDPS thanks to her charged shot similar to frontloaded damage that causes chevreuse.
Normal Attack - Stroke of luck
Performs up to 4 to strikes
Performs a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG.
While aiming, an icy aura will accumulate on the arrowhead before the arrow is fired. It has different effects based on how long the energy has been charged:
Plunging Attack
Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Diamondust Seals
Jelena gains a Diamondust Seals every time a cryo crystallize shard is picked up by a party member until a max of 4 stacks. Each Diamondust seal reduce charged attack time by a 20%.

Elemental Burst - Shining like the dawn

It's kind of a nightmare to calculate melee dps but it does 2150 with juggernaut and the mods alongside it add 1100 for 3250. 530EHP/67% DR. 13.50% leech.
It's fun as hell, flattens heads. Can facetank a lot of stuff on apoc with juggernaut and confidence booster if it's down.

2024.05.18 02:21 RynStarfire Are these DPS numbers correct?

I read that DPS is calculated in game with the following formula: (Damage x Fire Rate)/60.
In that case:
Handmade Rifle (94 x 113)/60 = 177 DPS
Gatling Laser (55 x 272)/60 = 249.3 DPS
Tesla Cannon (296 x 20)/60 = 98.6 DPS
I thought Iโ€™d read that the Tesla Cannon was currently the best per-shot weapon in the game lately. Am I missing or forgetting to add something to the calculation?

2024.05.17 03:32 julieuliebulie sigewinne builds & teams at c0

sigewinne builds & teams at c0
hi!!! i love sigewinne so here are some builds and teams that i think would work very well with her <3
note: this is for a c0 sigewinne!!! r1 or f2p weapon can both follow this guide <3 regardless, at c0 she's best as a healebuffer
edit/note: sigewinne's passive is maxed out at 65,000 hp! (every 1,000 hp after 30,000 is +80 elemental skill dmg for off field characters for a max of 2,800 dmg)
  • you can calculate an estimate of how much hp sigewinne will have by adding all your hp% (from weapons, artifacts, her ascension stat, etc) whatever you'll get hp from and then multiply that % by her base hp (13,348) and then add any flat hp stats also don't forget to add her base hp to that number too!!!
artifacts: (not ranked by best to worst btw)
  1. dedicated to maxing out her passive and healing without sig:
    • 2pc tenacity +20% hp + 2pc vourukasha's +20% hp
    • hp%/hp%/hp% main stats
    • hp% and flat hp sub stats
      • i recommend using this set if you really care about maxing her passive that is capped at 65,000 hp, otherwise, there are better options (and completely ignore this set if you have her sig, it'll be kind of a waste)
  2. dedicated to personal dmg and healing (this could max her passive with sig)
    • 4pc clam
    • hp%/hp%/hp% main stats
    • hp% and flat hp sub stats
      • i recommend this set over songs for some personal dmg and the fact it can be boxed without farming a useless artifact set! (unless it helps you, go for it!!!)
  3. dedicated to buffing the party and healing (this could also max her passive with sig)
    • 4pc songs
    • hp%/hp%/hp% main stats
    • hp% and flat hp sub stats
      • i recommend only farming songs if you have a geo dps like navia!!! otherwise the other set isn't very worth it.
  4. dedicated to massive healing
    • 4pc maiden's
    • hp%/hp%/hp% main stats
    • hp% and flat hp sub stats
      • i don't recommend this set because there's much better options and she heals a lot already imo. but if you want a ton of healing go for it!!!
  5. dedicated to burst damage
    • 4pc emblem
    • er%/hp%/hp% main stats
    • crit rate, crit dmg, er%, hp% sub stats
      • i honestly only recommend this build for sig weapon havers since it raises burst crit rate and helps with her hp requirements. this build will also be good if you have yelan's signature, aqua simularca. it's still doable without either weapons so don't be discouraged!!! i personally don't think it would be her best build in that case, but whatever makes you the happiest, do it! genshin's about having fun :) who care's about meta am i right??? <3
overall, artifacts depend on your personal account in my opinion. if you are going to have her sig, ignore 2pc/2pc 20% hp since you'll be way over her passive cap. if you want the most out of her passive without sig, go for 2pc/2pc 20% hp. if you get her sig, you have a couple more options! now it really just depends on your other characters. songs can't be boxed, and the domain drops pieces mainly for navia so i wouldn't recommend farming it unless you have navia or plan on getting her (bonus if you already have good songs pieces if you farmed for navia previously) on the other hand, clams can be boxed!!! the other set in the domain is also a geo set so i wouldn't recommend farming it unless it benefits you as well. in this case i'd recommend farming a domain you need more, and boxing poor pieces to clams.
weapons: (ranked best to worst)
  1. pouring heartstring (5* sig) 66.2% hp at lv90
  2. recurve bow (3*) 46.9% hp at lv90
  3. favonius or sacrificial bow (4*) er%
    • fav for more er%, but personally i think sac might be better for c0 since her burst wouldn't be a significant focus. sac could end her skill cooldown making it able to be used more, especially since it doesn't have 100% uptime
  4. hopefully we get a 4* hp% bow in the near future <'3 the gap between recurve and fav/sac bow is crazy :(
some quick calculations:
sigewinne's base hp at lv90 sits at 13,348. so here are some calculations to get a good idea of how much hp she will have at lv90: (useful idea if you want decent passive buffs)
  • lv90 no artifacts, no weapon
    • base hp: 13,348
    • ascension stat: 28.8% hp
      • total: 17,192 hp (.288*13,348+13,348)
  • lv20 main stat artifacts hp%/hp%/hp%
    • 46.6*3 (because there's 3 main stat artifacts) so 139.8% hp
    • flat hp from flower: 4,780
      • total: 40,632 hp (1.398*13,480+17,192+4,780)
      • for every main stat that isn't hp%, subtract 6,220 from that number and place that in below calculations
  • lv90 signature weapon
    • second stat: 66.2% hp
      • total: 49,468 hp (.662*13,348+40,632)
      • sig weapon also has an effect that can add up to 40% more hp (5,339 hp) at max levels
  • lv90 recurve bow
    • second stat: 46.9% hp
      • total: 46,892 hp (.469*13,348+40,632)
  • two hydro's in the party
    • 25% hp bonus
      • adds 3,337 hp to sigewinne
  • 2pc/2pc hp% artifact set users
    • 20+20=40% hp
      • adds 5,339 hp to sigewinne
  • artifact sub stats
    • i can't calculate this since it's completely rng. but basically, just add all your sub stats to one percent and then multiply it by her base hp (13,348) then add that to the rest of youmy calculations (please know how to convert precents to decimals or use an online calculator for accuracy)
    • it is going to be very hard to max her passive but it's definitely doable with the best rng luck <'3
teams
sigewinne's kit honestly looks like a furina buffer. they have incredible synergy. i think almost every sigewinne team should include her for the best team comp
klee burgeon
fischl/raiden hyperbloom (yae miko could work too)
another hyperbloom option (recommend doing full em kuki since sige is the healer, em raiden could work too)
neuvillette pure hydro (works better if neuvillette is c1)
furina-sigewinne-kazuha-dps (open to almost any dps, make electrocharged team, bloom, vape, freeze)
pretty flexible hydro-reaction team (open to almost any dps like previous team with furina)
edit: some added teams

wrio & sige combo teams would be absolutely adorable! i hope they work well <333

this teams a little iffy, kokomi would be better here as if it were an ayaka team too. but sigewinne could be a great placeholder!!! plus no one's getting use out of sige's passive here :( non-shenhe havers could use rosaria for second cryo, or someone else for damage like xiangling for melt
note: sucrose could easily replace kazuha! dendro mc could replace nahida as well!

2024.05.17 00:30 maxpantera How (Almost) All Weapons Will Perform After The Final Shape Rebalance

TL;DR:

Comparing the damage to using the optimal Spec Mod in every situation:

And now, the full write up!

Starting from the removal of the Spec Mods, all weapons will end up doing more damage than what they do now with spec equipped, except for some outliers like HC, which will end up doing less damage, albeit not by much. Also, Exotic weapons will perform slightly better than their legendary counterpart simply because they can't equip mods currently, getting overall a bigger jump in damage (or a lesser nerf in some cases).
Kinetic Weapons will get a big hit against bosses. While they will still be good options, Stasis and Strand now will have a chance because they won't be just worse Kinetic Weapons. That said, the Pulse Rifle buff will not make Revision Zero or Outbreak Perfected suddenly good for DPS, simply because the Kinetic nerf offsets the buffs.
The Splash damage nerfs aren't really "nerfs": after summing up everything, those weapons (except Sunshot, see below) will retain their add clear capabilities, but they will do significantly less damage against Majors and Bosses, making them a more Add-Clear option rather than "just use this weapon" (whether it's a good or bad thing).
Just a little note on Mountaintop: Yes, it got hit hard by the nerfs. Overall it will do 21% less damage against bosses, and 7% less against all enemies. But i want to highlight that it already does 25% more damage than a Double-Fire frame, which does even MORE damage than a standard Breech-Loaded. So...yeah, it will still be incredible, not just a better GL than any other one, it will instead be more in line with Wilderflight (which, of course, also got a 7% nerf).
More specifically, the numbers will be the following:

IN THE END...

I think that we won't see a shake in the meta but one thing is certain, majors will feel like a pain to kill with most Primaries, while redbars should feel much weaker with anything. Kinetic weapons will still be excellent for dps, but they won't be the best-in-slot but some options will fall off a little like Wishender, which will do significantly less damage against champions, nerfing the "slowly plink at the enemies from far away" strategy.

2024.05.16 18:52 panacebo2 + X% damage on weapons affix. How good is it really?

+ X% damage on weapons affix. How good is it really?
https://preview.redd.it/j00vlevtht0d1.png?width=725&format=png&auto=webp&s=0518c7da6cdc204b85eb884f30e84e56ad02538c
On the left is a weapon that dropped with the greater affix +09% damage. On the right is another drop with much higher DPS. I know season 4 tried to simplify affixes to make it clear which were "upgrades" but this one has me scratching my head.
My in-game "attack power" stat is much higher with the left weapon (12,741) compared to the right (10,722). To make things more confusing, none of the online builds for druid (or any class that I've looked at) mention +XX% damage as a priority weapon stat, making me think that it is not as useful as one might assume (although the in-game attack power calculation seems to refute this based on the huge increase I am seeing.
tl;dr 1) Is the + X% damage affix actually good on weapons? 2) Is the in-game attack power calculation a reasonable representation of how much damage a weapon does?

2024.05.16 18:38 Annithilate_gamer Anni's Weapon Rework/Buff ideas

A list of balance ideas for weapons, with a considerable amount of weapons changed. Mostly experimental. Constructive criticism and any other kind of non-toxic feedback is appreciated. Legendary version of weapons does not have their affix changed, for now...
-Blood Sword- Simply a direct buff in both Bleed and Melee damage and a secondary effect to allow combos with stuff like Instict of the Master of Arms.
Rebalance: Second hit in a combo now deals 40 damage (Was 25), increasing the weapon's combo DPS from 122 to 158.
Causes bleeding (4 DPS for 12 sec). Damage dealt by stacking bleed 5 times is counted as a Critical Hit.
Note: In 3.5, the bleed damage is 3.5 DPS for 12 seconds
-Spite Sword- Despite being the icon of self-inflicted damage builds, it does not do something that other weapons can't do with a higher base dps and face flask + vegeance. With this in mind, i tried to make a special effect on the Spite's third combo (Which now has it place swapped with the fourth attack), a kick that deals mere 10 non-crit damage.
Rebalance: Inflicts critical hits if you took damage less than 9 seconds ago, or if you're cursed. The fourth attack in a combo is a kick that deals 30 (53 crit) damage with additional damage proportially to all the damage you took in the last 8 seconds.
Note: The proportion works similarly to Gold Plating's calculation, meaning that the damage buff increases with how much % of your max health you took as damage. The base calculation is [Damage taken in %] ร— [+20 Damage buff].
-Machete and Pistol- Although the legendary version of the weapon is loved by many and top-tier, the normal weapon sucks. It is just a Twin Daggers but considerably worse (Although cooler-looking). It is a shame that the pistol does not deal ranged damage.
Rebalance: The third attack uses the pistol to bump and inflict ranged critical damage to nearby enemies, burning them. The first and second attack in a combo have an 30% faster attackspeed for 4 seconds after attacking an enemy on fire.
Note: The range of the pistol is also now around 20% wider, you have more time to chain the combo.
-Swift Sword- The swift sword is a cool idea, but it is very harmed by the very little amount of stuff that interact with the movespeed buff. I've seen someone say that the Swift Sword could be better if the speed buffs also increased attackspeed, so i decided that swift sword should have something to do with that
Rebalance: Inflicts a critical hit if you have an active move speed buff. Increases your attack speed by 30% for 3 seconds after killing an enemy.
Note: The attackspeed buff does not stack with itself.
-Oven Axe- Although dealing extremely high damage, Oven Axe easily puts you on much more riskier situations than the reward offsets. It depends too much on having many healing options or high max hp, yet the weapon does nothing to help with protection. While thinking of ways to make using Oven Axe less painful for The Beheaded, i remembered of the Bonus Health mechanic, which is heavily underutilized.
Rebalance: Repeat the last hit combo to inflict critical damage and gain 20% of your missing health as Bonus Health for 3 seconds for each enemy struck.
Note: The last attack in the combo is also slightly faster.

2024.05.16 17:53 Nevassorts Pls everything but the res

I know that mercy is said to have a rework buttt like I will genuinely stop playing her if they erase her res (well not completely). Her res imo gives her a lot of impact and I have won a lot of games because I resurrected the right person at the right time, which made me feel really good. Its a very unique and special ability that gives her THE identity of an angel... the whole character isnt mercy without res, just as much as she isn't without GA. I love seeing her wings of various colors and designs in my screen whenever I res, as well as her hand holding the soul to help. It's always fun to calculate when to res and how to incorporate one of those sneaky ones out of sight and when no one is looking at you. It makes her FUN, and its one of my dopamine rushes and the one thing I look forward to every time I pick her or feel the urge to play her.
In mirrorwatch I missed the res SO MUCH. She was fun either way but thats because she could make up for the res with her high damage output, which I highly doubt they will give her. Yet mercy is not played for her damage and she has proved that you can have fun on a character without killing or doing damage; just being helpful to your teammates and being unkillable. Damage is not the reason people have ever played mercy.
I know players think it is frustrating, but like thats the whole point tf cry about it a lot of others abilities in the game are frustrating as well. You can easily kill her while she is resurrecting and she loses the res, which imo is equally as frustrating for me. When I play against a mercy and she resurrects my kills I never get so annoyed as these players because I can just kill them again and if they killed me instead that's fine because that means mercy made a good play. I never get mad, so I just don't get the argument for erasing her res just because some people have anger issues.
Sorry if I came strong or annoyed, because I most certainly am whenever I go to the main sub and see dps mains crying over res.

2024.05.16 16:49 goron24 Good place for tips and builds

returning player here. The last time I played was shortly after the quest where you unlock the drifter. Back then adaptation was still fairly meta but every build I see on overframe seems to be either not using any defensive mods or a meme build.
Where can I find good builds for weapons/frames that are actually usable and not just meant to trick the overframe dps calculations?

2024.05.16 15:19 once_descended Sigewinne's current state in the light of the most recent changes

I know Sigewinne has had it rough (and Clorinde maybe even more so, peace to the ClorindeMains), I'll be honest, Sigewinne is a healer first, and she does a damn good job at it.
I'll be copy-pasting from my comment I made there.
With full Hp, Recurve Bow, double Hydro, 50k Hp is her baseline to max all her passives except that E buff one, not a single sub of Hp needed (just view it as Songs of Days past baked into her kit as an extra, it's not her main feature)
Her bubble now heals regardless of whether it hit or not, that's amazing, she heals 5k baseline per tick each 2 seconds across 10 seconds and only needs to cast hold E once, and heals herself by almost exactly 50% factoring in the BoL.
With a decent 50/100 ratio you can achieve 10k average dmg per tick with only Viridiscent, if you use Furina or Kazuha or other buffs, her dmg will go even higher, with just Furina at 100 stacks it's 10k as well, and her burst only takes 2.5 seconds at C0.
Her bubble applies hydro each 2 seconds in a small AoE where it bounces, so that's nice and it has amazing synergy with Clam, each 2 bounces you immediately max out a bubble at 30k heal, guaranteed, at C0 you get 3 maxed bubbles without doing anything, at C1 4 even.
With her signature you can start building Crit Dmg, making her personal Dmg skyrocket, her early constellation are really good, C1 grants full uptime on her heal and makes the imprisonment consistent for at least 3 bounces/ 6 seconds, her C2 makes her a good anchor with Furina in a mono hydro team, and bakes 35% Res shred directly into her burst.
Now you might say "but Kokomi and Baizhu already exist", well, Baizhu deals approximately 0% of a teams dps, his value lies in being dendro and his heal is a lot more finnicky, having only one team wide tick, and otherwise only single target heal. Kokomi on the other hand is extremely competitive with Sigewinne, her issue isโ€ฆ you need to deal with awkward uptime and specific timing to keep her heal and dmg going, both of which are tied to circle-impacttm outside her burst mode. Now Xianyun is a good healer too, but she has a whole another issue: as the sole anemo on the team you somehow need to feed 80 energy to her.
Sigewinne is completely freed from all of these issues and her damage is still optional in the end, her main purpose is keeping your teams Hp effortlessly topped off, and as a cute extra, Sigewinne's special charged is adorable as heck!
I went through her numbers the moment her kit dropped, and all of her numbers were too clean when put inside a calculator to be a coincidence, I suppose Sigewinne was never supposed to change a lot, only her E changed greatly during her Beta, and it changed a lot for the better, high interruption res, decent hydro app, and most importantly, she can heal without needing to hit an enemy.
Needless to say I'm really excited for her!
Edit: I don't know how to format the text? Putting escapes doesn't do anything
Edit: nvm fixed it

2024.05.16 06:28 doominator10 Ashe DPS Benchmarks 14.10

Back again, fresh off the mid season update.

EDIT #1: UPDATED FOR ER FIRST

**EDIT #2: UPDATED WITH SOME COMMON 3 ITEM COMBOS

DAMAGE AND DPS BENCHMARKS FOR 14.10

CLICK THIS -----------The numbers and runes spreadsheet<---------------------

The recordings for the pedantic and ocd inclined
Lvl 9 at 1 item LVL 13 at 2 item
Target dummy at variable armomhp All builds have Berserkers.
DPS should probably have a + or - 10 or so because doing the same damage can wind up with different dps just from slight differences in execution or calculation. When analyzing, you need to take into account BOTH the dmg done, and the dps over time, because either without the other can be misleading. For this test, I'm also including the dmg per gold calculation as well just for more context about what the items are providing.
As much as I stan Ghostblade Hexplate Ashe, it's probably not going to warrant the amount of damage missing this time.

THE TRUE TLDR:

  • MAXIMUM damage is IE+LDR+Kraken in that order.
  • Kraken+LDR+IE gives you a stronger 1 item spike, for weaker 2 item.
  • Personal Recommendation is IE+Runaans+[Yun-Tal Wildblades -or- LDR]. YTW will accidentally kill people on its own and its hilarious. The bolts will do more damage than with LDR, but LDR does more single target.
  • Above all else, build what works for you in your games, and adapt when it makes sense to do so

THE TLDR STILL TOO LONG CONCLUSIONS:

Single Item:

  • Return of the king, Kraken Slayer is the best first item for damage and dps. There might be a world where you just want to W poke only and then we'd be back to Ghostblade, but that probably isn't this world.
  • Infinity Edge comes closest in performance to Kraken at 1 item. However it's 300 gold more expensive. As we'll see soon though, IE+1 > Kraken+1, so your 2 item spike will be stronger if you go IE first.
  • Terminus or Bork first is kinda trolling if you're trying to be as strong as possible early. Even going for a 2 item spike, your best second item option is Kraken, which means you might as well have bought that as first item to begin with.

Kraken + 1 Item:

  • Kraken into either Terminus or Lord Dominik's Regards are both ideal second items in for damage. Terminus is slightly better vs squishier targets. LDR is much better vs tankier targets. Kraken IE is very slightly more flat damage vs squishier targets, but worse dmg/gold because it's 400gold more expensive.
  • Wit's End might be a viable damage alternative if you're only hitting squishy targets. You would also have to value the big chunk of MR you're getting, so maybe if you're fed and laning vs a double mage bot and more AP dmg across enemy team.

Botrk + 1 Item:

  • Don't

Ghostblade + 1 Item:

  • Don't, but if you must, GB into IE and lean into full poke.

IE + 1 item:

  • WITHOUT QUESTION, IE+LDR IS THE BIGGEST AMOUNT OF DMG YOU CAN ASK FOR. It doesn't matter if target is squishy or tanky, this combo out damages all other combinations and it's not close or funny. With one exception...
  • Yun Tal Wildblades though, actually comes in an almost close second for damage in comparison. Weird. But cool.
  • Kraken Slayer is the third best choice to pair with IE... but why build kraken when you could build LDR instead if you're going IE first? If you built Kraken first, then you're building LDR 9/10 times next anyways so Kraken + IE should never be a 2 item combination if you care about maximizing your damage.
  • Not having any extra atk spd besides boots though certainly feels...odd. Your personal comfort matters so do what works for you.

Terminus or Rageblade + 1 Item:

  • Don't bother building Terminus or Rageblade first if your goal is damage, because your next best item in all cases for both is Kraken. At which point, you should have just built Kraken as first item in the first place.

3 ITEM UPDATE

  • Tried several 3 item pairs, their numbers are in the spreadsheet. I also included the bolt damage for hurricane this time and let me tell you, those results are insane. While I was hitting the tankier dummy, I did nearly 1.7k dmg to the squishy with IE + Hurricane + YTW. Let me put that in more perspective.
  • I ALMOST ACCIDENTALLY KILLED A SQUISHY WHILE HITTING THE TANK with IE+Hurricane+YTW. This build has me very excited, but it's a 3 item spike because IE+Hurricane is kinda suspect for damage on it's own. LDR did more dmg to the first target, but less to the side.
  • Kraken+LDR+IE is the most single target damage at 3 items you could ask for. If you must you can trade Kraken for PD and lose 1k dmg here if you value the move speed.
  • Whatever you choose just don't go Kraken+PD unless you want to be tickling your opponents instead of killing them. Or do and enjoy going zoom zoom and if that works then live your best life. Again, I played Ghostblade Hexplate Hurricane Black Cleaver for nearly 2 months as my preferred build, do what works for you.
  • Kraken+Terminus+RB is the most on-hit build dmg you're going to get, but it's still inferior damage. At least Terminus and eventually Wits makes you a little bit tankier though
Inb4 half of these numbers are obsolete in a hotfix :/

2024.05.15 23:12 AssassinoGreed Plz devs can you add a special booth for melee weapons?

I want to calculate some builds i make with melee weapons like dps and total damage and had to use my chronometer(timer).
I believe others have the same issue but i believe nobody will ask so here i am.
The concept of the booth will be like this:
-It should be open from the upper and side area cause we have some mutators and skills that some Effects are hit from there (thunders).
-There should be the usual concrete barriers that we already have and some extra from the other side so our player will not move sideways or past the target practice doll. That way we can see total front damage output and total back damage output.
-And not the table cause is useless if it's there (if it's there some melee weapons will not ever reach the target practice doll at all).
-Now where would you add this special booth? In the far bottom left of the target practice area. It's spacey.
Ps. These were my ideas, i hope you have a great day. Good morning, Good afternoon and Good evening y'all.
