Some of this isn't completely CCW related but most is. I mean some people conceal carry an AR, right? Much of the day is a blur in my memory and my notes here are just what I can recall. Also, a lot of this isn't breaking news but it's new to me and I find it interesting enough.

- Beretta - got to handle the new LTT Px4, awesome. Also tried the APX, an FCU cousin with the P320, trigger reminded me of a P320...
- Bersa - meh
- CZ - fondled all the basic models
- FN - fondled all the basic models
- Glock - I'm pretty familiar already, no need to fondle. They were there.
- HK - didn't see that new micro compact SFP9CC. Might have missed due to tunnel vision, but that's the only thing I was really interested in.
- RIA - Tried and learned about the RIA 5.0. Very nice hammer-fired trigger and smooth feel. Wish I could shoot one. They're still figuring out if and how they can suppress it. ~$2000
- Ruger - meh
- S&W - The M&P 2.0 and PDP felt tied for best striker-fired trigger in my flawed experience
- Springfield - got to try the Echelon. Is it just me or do all FCU-type triggers feel the same?
- Staccato - Probably the best hammer-fired triggers, no surprise

- Aimpoint were very nice people. Say something bad about Holosun they might do you a favor.
- Amend2 offers a modular AR stock with optional storage attachments that I thought was cool. Also had exclusive magazines with a special "Buc-ee's wearing nods" print. Unfortunately online reviews are too sparse, and straight up negative, respectively.
- Bering Optics - I might consider one of their thermal scopes. Not bad prices for American-made. The rep hadn't heard about the new Biden regulations on Chinese imports of thermal gear
- Eotech had their OGL and wide-angle nods on display in the corner, with no other info.
- Griffin is developing new cans that are somewhat more flow thru-like, they claim better than Huxwrx etc.
- Holosun - got to look through the famous thermal red dot, was pretty cool. A convention isn't a very realistic testing environment, but I pointed it at the ceiling several hundred feet away and it still detected and displayed thermal signatures so it can probably do the same for a hog at that distance. They also got a new plus-sized AEMS, the AEMS Max. I didn't think to ask them about the Biden regulations.
- Huxwrx - new flow thru 22 can. I didn't know this but the Ventum has a removable end cap and removable core, I thought it was just a 556k clone with HUB. I forgot to ask them about any plans for a 3D printed 9mm can which I'd like to see replace the Rad 9.
- Magpul has a new AR stock that looks cool and Hop is interested in it.
- Next Level Armament, the AR parts company, is releasing a line of suppressors. The baffles are removable cups with flow-thru geometry, made of stainless, TiN-coated. The body is Aluminum, with end cap venting. There's a 5.56 model and a 300 BLK/9mm model. Looking forward to evaluations.
- N-Vision had heard about the Biden regulations.
- PSA had the "5.7 MP7" and the thumper on display, and free coffee.
- Shield Arms - I learned about their grip chop service for a G43x to make it G43-sized, which can then accept their short S10 magazines that hold 10 rounds (and don't fit in a real G43). Confusingly, they also have the Z9 mags for a stock G43, with 9 rd capacity. Unfortunately I got distracted and missed the perfect opportunity to compare both systems side by side.
- Sig - huge booth, nothing super interesting to me except the Romeo X enclosed red dot. Seems like the only competitor to the Holosun EPS Carry. I like it so far but need to see reviews on it.
- Silencer Shop was mainly there to submit backorders, insane.
- SilencerCo - I asked 4 different people about the Spectre 9K. Some implied I wasn't supposed to know about it yet. They won't even think about dropping it until they're done with backorders, so not anytime soon.
- Spyderco - they had Yojimbo's for sale in multiple sizes. Those are manually folding pocketknives that are designed somewhat for self defense. The smallest jimbo is around 2" long and would be perfect as an almost-50-state-legal CCW knife. ~$200
- TNVC - Got into long conversation about the $4600 helmet rails. The most notable thing I learned is a dozen or two civilians have ordered them, which surprised even the rep.
- UNITY - I'm familiar with all their other stuff but I didn't know they make scope mounts, they're I think 2.2" tall and it feels very natural to find the eyebox. They also accept attachments similar to Badger mounts.
- YHM - I was surprised to learn the Turbo T3 has no external venting, only internal venting for backpressure reduction.
- Feels like everyone's rushing to put cans on the market, and the bigger companies are rushing to find an answer to Huxwrx and CAT.

After experiencing the horror that is closing day of Lempicka rush, I was wondering who decided to block off the front row solely for people rushing, and why? Is it to encourage a sense of scarcity or increase hype for the show??
I know I'm much more likely to check out a show I'm on the fence about if I can get a cheaper ticket via rush, but front-row seating is a big enough incentive for the hardcore fans that normal potential audience members end up losing out. I'm also less likely to even try to rush a show at all if I know it's going to be competitive.
I don't really blame the hardcore Lempeople who camped out overnight since they didn't break any rules and they clearly loved the show, but it seems like a missed opportunity for theaters to draw in new audience members when a substantial number of rushers are just the same people over and over... There were a lot of people lined up by the time the box office opened today who ended up not being able to get rush tickets, and a number of them walked away without buying a ticket at all.
If the theater had sold front-row seats normally and reserved other row/s in the orchestra for rush, more people would have been able to see the show and maybe they would've even had higher weekly sales $.

This post is geared towards anyone questioning or doubting Bryson swing. Be it the longevity or the robotic nature I have ventured down this rabbit hole and have explored every nook and cranny so AMA you want to know further bc odds are I can probably answer it.
I'm not in his camp or on his team I'm just a fan of his and for better or worse I have been from the get go. 1st time I remember seeing him was low am in Butler's Cabin and Nantz spoke very highly of him somewhere around this time The Golfing Machine by Homer Kelley was mention by Bryson.
This is essentially the "science" behind the golf swing that we all see today, same club lengthen etc. Now I think it's important to understand who Homer Kelley was and why this is all so important as he is/was a pretty divisive person in his day not unlike Bryson in the present.
Homer Kelley worked for Boeing and was known as a "problem solver" he had no formal education in aerospace, or any mathematics, physics, geometry ect. He was a legend there for his ability to find solutions that were deemed impossible.
A side note here I think that's worth pointing out is the story of the wright brothers as it pertains to fight. Again the wright brothers no formal education but were known to "tinker" as inventors and it's ultimately this trail and error of trying the unconventional that allowed them to break through and achieve the first fight.
Coming back to Homer Kelley he became obsessed with golf during the great depression and became upset with the lack of a universal golf language. He would ask club pros swing questions that they couldn't answer. I don't know exactly when he started writing but the book was first published in 1969. Many, many, many of the terms that are used to describe the golf swing can be found in this book only time has butchered them and they are bit off from his original definitions. Outside-in/inside-out aiming point are two that come to mind
Anyhow the book is polarizing itself and can be a very challenging read to say the least. He doesn't repeat anything so there's no emphasis on any one thing. It reads like a choose your own adventure and it's quite 'scientific-y'. It can also be hard to obtain a copy of the book bc he didn't want anyone revising it so he published it himself and a single copy can sell for over $100 easily.
The Internet is filled with a hodge podge of websites, gurus, and TGM experts. I'm not claiming to be one of those but having visiting countless sites there's a lot of misinformation out there which further complicates any attempts at extracting the wealth of knowledge that the book contains.
So one day I'm kinda explaining this to my wife and how I cant seem to find a copy for sale... Well lo and behold that Christmas I unwrap my very own copy. This was Christmas 2018. Like a coal power train it took a while to get things moving but I was constantly reading it forwards and backwards. All in all I think I'm somewhere around 80-85% full comprehension. I read it all the time still.
It's like learning a whole new and language, think Chinese or Russian. However once you start to decifer it the concept and ideas are really somewhat simple and frankly they work Its based on geometry and physics he calls golf
Geometrically. Oriented. Linear. Force.
It's a complete catalog of all things golf swing and as such is very efficient and I believe the longevity of a golfers swing will only increase by use of this book.
10-7-A is what Bryson used to say he was doing in interviews. He still is and he will most likely continue to improve. The robotic swing people like to bring up is called "the flying wedge" there a video of tour player Brian Gay (he's TGM) working with Lynn Blake (calls himself Yoda) where you can really see the flying wedge. It looks just like Bryson swing and I think it's from 2005ish.
I wish I had student to teach this stuff too as it works. The book is confusing I would even know where to point to say start here. But check out Homer Kelley's wiki page
I will forever be grateful for Bryson as my 40+ years of having a golf club in my hand can really be divided into a preTGM and post TGM and seeing him display pure joy today makes me all me grateful.
It is certainly my hope and intentions for this post to hopefully pay the knowledge forward as Bryson did for me, so if your reading this and learning about this for the first time and your have any questions I would be more than happy to help/assist/elaborate in any way I can. I recently brought home the Trexonic Retro Wireless Bluetooth Record and CD Player in Turquoise, and it's been a real nostalgic trip. To be honest, I was initially drawn to its sleek and retro design. Little did I know that it would turn out to be a music treasure trove.
Its three-speed record player with the capability to play all my vinyl records and albums certainly took me back to the good old days. Plus, the built-in Bluetooth and wireless streaming made it easy for me to enjoy my modern music seamlessly. A unique highlight is its ability to record from vinyl to MP3 via USB - a feature that I personally haven't tried out yet, but it's nice to have.

Also I think that although some of the settings can't be stored permanently (eg if you turn off lane keep assist or fatigue warnings it will simply turn back on again next time you restart) other settings like sensitivity and also warning styles (audible vs tactile) are persistent, so turning these down may help to make the car feel less neurotic about your driving style

I’ve previously tried The Ordinary Ascorbyl Acid however got through the bottle and didn’t feel like it did much.
I then tried La Roche Posay pure vitamin C serum which I really liked, however I managed to score it during a CW sale for around $35.. everywhere I look it’s closer to $60 😭 I just can’t justify the price.
I’ve seen the garnier products however noticed they have salicylic acid in it and I’m using tret 0.05% every second day.
Any suggestions? I’ve seen Timeless mentioned but doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of places in Aus that sell it.

Visiting Puglia with my daughter for a few days at the end of June. We definitely dont have enough time, but would like to try to see as much as possible since it s a unique opportunity. Decided to rent a car which gives us some more felxibility, but I also know it can be difficult with parking etc, so open to ideas.
Here's the basic plan I have now.
Wed- arrive in Brindisi (airport transfer from Rome)- rent car and drive to stay in Ostuni, we have an apt there reserved in center of town (will have to park the car outside town, but the apt said we can take a golf cart into ZTL area?
Thurs- Beach/Coast Day, Pogliano a mare and Monopoli- idea is to swim, enjoy the beach side views. Considering a boat tour via Viator or something similar, anything specifically worth it? Where do you suggest parking for the day in the area?
Friday- Day trip to Matera, planning to drive there with rental car, this is our fullest open day hence the longer trip. Planning to stop in Gravina on drive back. Any suggestions of 1 great walking tour to do in Matera if we are only there for one day?
Saturday- Stay local and explore Ostuni- any notable good walking tours to recommend?
Sunday- Leave Ostuni for Bari (leaving on train back to Rome in late afternoon). Plan is to start day early and stop through Alberebello (tour guide or self guide?) and maybe to stop in any other spots on way- Locorotindo or Martina Franca- depending on what is recommended, will have car and luggage with us that day.
