It seems like I dont really vibe with a lot of types (obviously i'm not using MBTI as an end-all-be all but i've seen shit line up all too well).

• I immediately disqualify any extroverted type - they're just not for me. Extrovertedness is not something I'm looking for in a relationship. It's too big of a clash over the long haul. I don't need someone to bring me out of my "shell", I do just fine on my own.
  
• INFP: I like them and I feel they're a really good opposite in a relationship (me INTJ man, her INFP woman). I can deal with their emotional side because (sexism incoming) it's cute when a woman does it. However, sometimes there are a lot of head-shacking / "for fuck sake" moments.
  
• INFJ: That fairytale romance where two lost souls understand each other.... until the INFJ just becomes all fake, manipulates and paints a picture that's not real (if you know what i'm saying). Almost amazing compatibility ruined by some a couple massive "flaws".
  
• INTP: Perfect "mindmates" but too much of "us", can't trust them (flaky/morals) and it feels like two depressed mfs walking in unison and there's no sign of "sunshine".

Christianity is Objectively True
Christianity isn’t based on any abstract belief system. It’s based entirely on historical events which took place. If Jesus existed, did mighty miracles, was crucified, and rose again on the third day in glory, this would mean His message is one of truth and authority. If someone came with the power to override the laws of nature you would believe what they tell you regarding how the universe works. So the question is did these events really take place or is it just some fairytale?
The first thing to do would be to examine the documents in question. The primary documents proposed comprise of the New Testament, which consist of the four gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (the first 3 were written before 70 AD, John was written around 70 AD). Then there is Acts (early church history), the epistles (letters detailing instruction to early churches), and revelation (a book of prophecy).
The first 4 gospels are all written with the express purpose of being eyewitness accounts, written either by direct apostles of Christ or those who knew the apostles. All four of these are what you generally would expect with these sorts of accounts. This is just one example out of many.
The writers of the gospels also were thoroughly convinced that they had witnessed and interacted with the Risen Christ, as their lives show they spent the rest of their days going and preaching the gospel to the Jews and foreign nations. They would often be beat up, flogged and punished severely for this, which would make no sense at all if they were making it all up. It would have been easier for them to just remain in their ordinary lives, with their families, rather than be ousted from their home country for being “criminals”. At the very least some of them died for their confession. They cared very deeply about accuracy (as referenced before), but now we can see they were thoroughly convinced of their experience. Their writings are not that of mad people, since mad people rarely ever work together for long periods of time. Yet we see complex philosophical concepts in the New Testament which would be impossible for mentally insane people to make. This demonstrates the absurdity of claiming they stole His body.
Aside from personal miracles I’ve experienced (you can see my testimony on my profile), the God of the bible actually challenged every so-called god to do what only He has ever done. That is, to foretell the future with incredible accuracy. He said of Himself that He reveals the end from the beginning.

This temple was absolutely huge and very beautiful. The gates were so large that they required 20 men to open and close, and at night they were bolted with iron. Christ foretold of its destruction, saying:
Luke 21:5-6 5 Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said, 6 “These things which you see—the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.”
Luke 21:20-24 20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
And we know from history, approximately 40 years after the crucifixion of Christ, the second temple was totally destroyed by the Romans, who killed many of the Jews with the sword, taking them captive into their own nations.
Historians such as Josephus (a Jew who fought for Rome during this siege), and Tacitus (a pagan Roman govenor), and the Talmud all wrote of this event which took place. All of these sources state that miraculous omens took place in the second temple before its destruction, such as the gates of the temple (which require 20 people to open and close), opening by themselves at night, voices telling things to people in the temple, amongst other things. What is striking is the Talmud (which is a collection of Jewish rabbinic writings) says that these signs appeared after 30 AD (matching the crucifixion of Christ). The Talmud also mentioned how each year the Jews would celebrate the day of atonement, in which a scapegoat would be sacrificed for the sins of the nations would lead to a crimson thread miraculously turning white, showing the sins of the nation had been forgiven. After around 30 AD this never happened again, which fulfils what the prophet Jeremiah foretold, saying God would create a new covenant.
Christ has been written of many many many years before He was even born. Psalm 22, is quoted by Jesus when He is on the cross, saying “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”. If one then turns to it, and reads through it, we can see crucifixion being described. It was written by King David around 1000 BC, whereas the earliest records we have of crucifixion is 600 BC. King David was never crucified in his life. And yet, halfway through the psalm it begins to speak of all the foreign nations turning to worship the God of the Jews, which has come to pass after His crucifixion. The chances of this actually taking place are very small, yet it has happened, defying all odds.
Isaiah 52 and 53 prophesy Christ dying for the sins of the world, and rising again, justifying many in very strong detail. To quote a small section of it: He is despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows well acquainted with grief. We hid, as it were, our faces from Him. He is despised and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows. Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed.
Genesis 22 shows the LORD, who had just promised Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars of the sky, then commands him to slay his son, Isaac. Therefore Abraham reasoned within himself that Isaac would be raised from the dead, as God could not fail to fulfil His promise. Isaac carried the wood up the mountain, just as Christ carried His cross. Abraham was very old at this stage, so Isaac could have easily resisted him and fled, yet it seems he wilfully gave his life, fearing God, just as Christ did the same. And then the place was called "the LORD will provide", after the event.
Daniel 7 shows that the Exalted Messiah, the Son of Man would come with clouds. Christ gave Himself the title. Interestingly the Son of Man is to receive worship from all nations. The Aramaic word used is pelakh which is used exclusively of deities. This gives the Son of Man the status of God, being distinct from the Ancient of Days.
God even foretold the destruction of Tyre (which used to be a trade hub for the whole world) in really really strong detail.
I could give more examples, but suffice to say. I’ve looked at a lot of the criticism the bible gets, and it still stands. So with all this being said, even though I am 100% sure He is real, good and Lord of all (cos I know Him), to an outsider there is compelling evidence that the Messiah of the Jews and Saviour of the world is Jesus Christ.

PART ONE THOUSAND AND SEVENTEEN

Dad and I arrived back in the hallway outside the living apartment, and without missing a beat, I separated myself from Dad and went inside. Dad was half a step behind me, but I reached the living room first since he had shoes to kick off, and I didn’t.
I’d forgotten Levi and young Maddy were staying over, and when I saw them on the sofa watching cartoons, I grinned at them both. “Hey, sweetie. Where’s my hug?” I asked, going down on one knee with my arms open wide.
“Awww, I don’t know, honeybun,” Levi cajoled, even as his daughter leapt to her feet and ran to give me a proper hug. “The boot makes it difficult to get up.”
“Don’t quit your day job,” I jeered over Maddy’s shoulder, then lifted her up and carried her back to her father.
“All day and night job,” Levi corrected because he could be that annoying.
And then Dad walked in, sucking all social niceties out of the room. I could understand Levi and Maddy’s apprehension. Dad was marginally taller than Boyd, almost as wide, and intimidation came second nature to him. I had to do something to break the ice. “Levi, did you meet my dad yesterday at the party?”
At that, Levi seemed to snap out of it and struggled to his feet. “Sir,” he said, hobbling forward with his hand outstretched. “I wanted to thank you for letting us stay over last night…”
Dad accepted the handshake, for which I was grateful. He was just as likely to look at it like Levi had leprosy. “It wasn’t my decision. That end of the apartment is Robbie’s domain.”
“That may be true, but you’re still the overall owner, and I prefer to have your approval when it comes to letting my daughter stay the night at times when her uncle and I are pulled into work together. It shouldn’t happen often. She’s three-and-a-half, and it’s only happened once in her lifetime…”
“What did you do then?” I asked, unable to help myself.
“Shar—Charlie took her for the night. Luckily, it was a two-in-the-morning call-out, and she was home. I don’t think she was much good to her boss the following day, though.”
“Sam’s mother is pregnant,” Dad declared, and inwardly, I winced, having a fair idea of what was coming next.
“I heard that. Congratulations, Mister Arnav.”
“Thank you. My point is…”
“Finish that sentence in any other way than ‘it’s not a problem’, and you’re going to be finding out how comfortable the couch is for a week, boo,” Mom said from the hallway leading to our side of the apartment.
She could move like a ghost when she wanted to, and none of us had heard her come in.
Dad turned to her. “Ivy…”
Mom walked through the living room, pushing Dad back to stand before Levi. “Maddy is welcome here anytime you need a babysitter, Levi.” She made the statement sound so final; I was surprised when she turned back to Dad and said, “Isn’t that right, Llyr?” Her eyebrow arched sharply, daring him to contradict her.
That was not what Dad wanted, and a blind man with a broken cane could’ve seen that. I had to wonder how his precious family mantra would handle this without losing face.
I wasn’t kept waiting long.
“Levi, I have no problem with your daughter visiting her aunt and uncle as often or for as long as you need. However, Ivy’s health is precious to me, and should anything happen to her or the three babies she’s carrying as a result of Maddy not doing as she’s told, what happens next will be on you. You know your child better than I do. If she is asked to stay out of a space, is she likely to do it, or be curious enough to think that the mandate is merely a suggestion to be ignored?”
I saw Levi take stock of the words and hear the enormity of the threat interlaced with them. “I respect your forthrightness,” he began. “And Maddy’s a good girl. She'll stay away if she’s told to stay away from something. But accidents happen all the time, Mister Arnav, and I don’t appreciate the rest of what you’re insinuating.”
“Sometimes, children think things are funny without understanding the dangers involved,” Mom said, bulldozing her way into the conversation as only she could. “Some are more prone to being more hands-on than others. Llyr doesn’t know Maddy, and for his sake, I’m going to assume he was more concerned with Maddy possibly being the type of child who thinks playing bumper cars with ‘the fat lady’ is funny.”
Levi’s expression was a blend of disbelief and denial. “Oh, she’d never do that. If anything, she’d curl up beside you and read stories to your stomach. She knows what a pregnancy is.”
Since the Titans had already squared off, I went down the other side of the coffee table and slid into the seat beside Maddy. “Did you have a good sleep?” I asked, trying to distract her from the most civilised argument in history.
“I nearly peed on Daddy,” she said.
I was glad I hadn’t been drinking, for the snort alone almost choked me.
Which, of course, had all three adults turning towards me. I raised my hand and shook my head, hoping they’d understand I hadn’t laughed at them. “I’m glad you didn’t,” I said once they started talking amongst themselves again. “I don’t think Daddy would’ve had anything else to get changed into.”
“Unca Lucas’s gettin’ stuff f’r us.”
That answered a question I didn’t know to ask. “How come you nearly peed on Daddy anyway?”
“I’s stuck. Door stuck.”
I strongly doubted if any of the doors in the apartment would ever be stuck. Locked, sure, but…. Oh! “Daddy stopped you from getting out last night, didn’t he?”
Maddy made an agreeable humming noise.
The apartment’s front door opened, and from where I was sitting, I saw Lucas struggle through the opening with his arms full of bags. “Hey, I’m home,” he called out, just like he always did.
“UNCA LUCAS!” Maddy squealed and scrambled over me to run down the length of the coffee table, avoiding her father and my parents because she was a smart little kid.
Lucas had just enough time to dump the bags and pretend to oomph as she slammed into him, and then he lifted her off the ground.
“That’s exactly what I’m talking about,” Dad insisted, gesturing towards them. “She can’t do that to Ivy right now.”
“And she won’t,” Levi shot back. “Look, it’s okay if you don’t want her here…”
“Wait, what?” Lucas demanded, catching up really quickly. He glanced at me, and after I rolled my hands and shook my head in a ‘don’t look at me’ gesture, he decided to weigh in. “Levi and Austin are both first responders, and if and when it happens that they both get called in together, every minute wasted costs more lives. Robbie, Charlie, Boyd, and I have all said she can stay with us if necessary, even if that means putting up a dividing door in the hallway on our side to keep her away from Miss W. It’s what family does.”
“Just try to separate us,” Mom growled, then turned on Dad. “Maddy is adorable, and you ought to be ashamed of yourself, picking on a defenceless child.”
“I’m not going to sugarcoat my priorities, Ivy. I’ve already said I don’t mind if she stays.”
Lucas looked from one to the next in confusion. “Then what’s the problem?”
“Mister Arnav said that right on the heels of threatening Maddy,” his brother answered.
I saw the argument was about to ramp up again, so I jumped up and went over to Lucas, working my hands around his arm to take Maddy from him. “I’m just going to take Maddy into my office…” I said, determined to remove her from the scene.
Lucas twisted so that his back was to the wall with the TV. “In one of those bags are some toys and games for Maddy.”
“Luke!” Levi reprimanded, even as Maddy heard the magic words and squealed, shimmying to lunge from her uncle to me.
“Relax, bro. Board games and books and the like. Not all of us are millionaires.”
With Maddy in my hands, I put her down in the alcove. And like all kids everywhere, she was off like a bloodhound searching through the bags, discarding anything that didn’t meet the criteria of ‘fun’. She held up three stuffed bags, and even I saw the edges of the board games sticking out.
“Okay,” I said, sliding the bigger two into my hand. Maddy clung to the soft, puffy bag, and I thought I saw toy fur poking out the top. Boardgames and books, my ass, I mused to myself.
We went past the adults, but as I reached the office, I turned and asked Maddy, “Should we see if Geraldine wants to play?”
“Who dat?” she asked in return.
“My girlfriend. Would you like to meet her?”
Maddy shook her head shyly.
“Awwww, come on. She loves to play board games.” I had no idea if Gerry even liked that sort of thing or not, but I’d left her alone too long already and at the very least, I was going to check on her and let her know I was back.
We reached my bedroom door with a little more coaxing, and I opened it without knocking. Gerry was sitting in the reading nook, her favourite place to be when she was alone, and I saw her curled up around her tablet reading. Her head came up when I opened the door, and her smile was wide. “You’re home,” she said, dropping the tablet onto the small table used for it and snacks. She came over and hugged me, then pulled back when she saw Maddy.
“Well, hello,” she said with a welcoming smile as she squatted down to be at Maddy’s height. “You must be Maddy, right?”
I had no idea how she knew who Maddy was, but I was ever so grateful for it since it drew Maddy out of her shell. “I’m gonna be a vet,” she declared like it was a done deal. “Like set, but wif a v.”
Gerry looked up at me, and I snickered. “Mason,” I whispered, for who else in the household could’ve set her on that path?
“And you’re going to be a great vet,” she agreed. “How come you’re down here with us?” She may have posed the question at Maddy and was looking directly at her, but I knew the question was more for me, so I answered instead.
“Mom, Dad, Levi, and Lucas are getting into it in the living room. I figured it was better that she’s not around to hear it.” I still planned to leave the door slightly ajar so Levi could find us when he was ready.
My girl, whom I already loved more than anything, smiled and never took her eyes off Maddy. “Well then, we need space to play. Do you want to help me make the bed? Cause it’s softer up there than down on the floor.”
The bed really should've been made before we went out, but we’d left in such a rush that I hadn’t thought about it. Gerry clapped her hands together for Maddy, who went straight to her. “Here,” she said, lifting Maddy up. “You help me on this side since this is the girls’ side, and Sam can do his side ’cause that’s the boys’ side, okay?”
It was crap, but I got the gist. As I grabbed the covers and pulled them up from my side, she had Maddy hold them from hers and between the three of us, they were straightened out in no time. “Okay, so what are we going to do first?”
Maddy squirmed out of Gerry’s arms and raced back to the bags, upending them on the carpeted floor.
“Oh, my goodness,” Gerry gasped, picking up the Candyland box. “I used to play this with my grandmother when I was a little girl.” She brought it to the bed and opened the box, oohing and ahhing over all the familiar characters.
I was lucky to have Gerry with us, for the bright colours and over-the-top cartoon smiles on all the characters weren’t doing anything for me. “Oh, this is different,” she said, lifting the sweet-shaped spinner out of the box. “My set only had cards to draw from.”
Given that the set-up consisted of a board, a spinner, and tokens, there wasn’t a whole lot to it.
Gerry suddenly sat back and drummed her cheek, humming loudly in mock concentration. She then picked up the four plastic tokens by the bases and turned them towards Maddy. “Which one do you think looks the most like Sam?”
Maddy pulled a near-perfect replica pose, but no matter which one they picked, they were all awful. The choice was between a happy square marshmallow, a laughing jelly blob with a bow on top, a smiling ice cream cone where the ice cream was swirled upwards to resemble hair and a gingerbread girl who looked like she was trying to sing.

Religion Name: Shrekism
Overview: Shrekism is a monotheistic religion that centers around the worship of Shrek, a beloved character from the animated movie franchise. Followers of Shrekism believe that Shrek is a divine being who created the world and all living things, and that he is the one true god.

Pilgrimage: Shrekists may go on pilgrimage to the "Swamp of Serenity," where they believe Shrek first appeared to humanity. Fasting: Shrekists may fast on certain days to show their devotion and discipline. Charity: Shrekists are encouraged to be charitable and help those in need. Meditation: Shrekists may meditate on the teachings of Shrek and seek to deepen their understanding of his message. Communal Meals: Shrekists may share meals together as a symbol of unity and community.
Symbols:
The Green Flag: A green flag bearing the image of Shrek. The Onion: The onion is a symbol of humility and simplicity, which are important virtues in Shrekism. The Donkey: Donkey, Shrek's loyal companion, is seen as a symbol of friendship and loyalty in the Shrekist faith.
Holy Places:
The Swamp: In the Shrek bibles, Shrek's swamp is his sacred home and a symbol of his identity. A temple or shrine could be built in honor of the swamp, where followers could come to meditate and reflect.
The Castle: The castle where Princess Fiona lived in the first Shrek bible could be considered a holy place. Followers could come to pay their respects to the princess and learn more about her story.
The Windmill: The windmill where Shrek and Fiona first fell in love could also be considered a sacred site. Shrekists could come to pay their respects to the couple and learn more about the power of love.
Paradise:
The Swamp of Eternity: In this paradise, followers of shrekism could spend eternity living in their own version of Shrek's swamp. They would be surrounded by their loved ones, onions, donkeys, and the beauty of nature, and they could live in peace and happiness for all eternity.
Inferno:
The Pit of Isolation: This inferno would be a place where followers of the Shrek-based religion could be sent if they were deemed to have betrayed the values of the religion. In this pit, they would be cut off from all human interaction and forced to live in isolation for eternity, just like Fiona(the spouse of our holy diety) was.
Apostles:
Fiona, Shrek's wife and co-leader of the movement, who embodies the ideals of strength, courage, and compassion.
Donkey, Shrek's faithful and humorous companion, who represents the importance of loyalty and friendship.
Puss in Boots, a skilled and cunning warrior who symbolizes the virtues of agility and strategic thinking.
Dragon, a fierce and powerful ally who embodies the values of protection and loyalty.

Just found out through a mutual friend (boundaries have now been set, do not worry) that my ex proposed to her.
The girl he cheated on me with and then started dating 2 weeks after he broke up with me. The girl who at the time, had just returned from her honeymoon with her new husband who she’d dated for 10 years.
The girl he swore he had no feelings for and was just lonely after our breakup.
Yep, the classic “rebound”. Engaged. Oh and they have a baby, too. She was supposedly infertile, my ex swore he didn’t want kids for at least another 10 years, but still, there’s a baby now apparently.
I know I sound bitter, but I’m kinda annoyed I got reminded of the horrible pain the two of them put me through 2 years ago, and that they’re happy and doing everything I dreamed of doing with my ex. I didn’t know where else to vent this lol, so here I am.
Man I haven’t thought of them in so long but the reminder was a cruel sting of pain I’d thought I’d forgotten and moved past.

i have a friend (she’s a 25 year old woman) who’s in the shittiest situation ive ever seen in my life.
it’s a long story, so in short: she got pregnant by a guy who she had only known for one month (at the time). they were coworkers who met at mcdonald’s.
my friend is extremely poor, lives in an inherited family trailer with no utilities, water, sewer, etc. i’m not rich, or even wealthy, but when i have extra money i help her. she doesn’t have any family- they have all died from drugs, cancer, or are in prison. her life is very sad.
anyway, she’s pregnant, extremely poor, unsafe living environment, and on top of all this she told me a few nights ago that the man who impregnated her r*ped a 13 year old child. this alone would have been ammunition to abort if i were her, but she still wants to have a fairytale life with this dude.
i am pro choice. so i support a woman’s decision to keep or abort her child. my friend has been teetering the line of both decisions since she was 6 weeks pregnant (she’s 9 weeks now). at 6 weeks i told her i had abortion pills that she could take. she accepted my offer then back tracked because she said her ex who just got out of prison (not the baby daddy, a different man) said he’d marry her and raise the child as his own- this dude beat her and is addicted to heroin and alcohol. i tell her this is not a good idea, and she’d get more benefits from the state as a single poor mom but she says “i just don’t want to be alone”.
i guess i should add, we live in texas. so my friend didn’t take the abortion pills i offered her because 1) she’s afraid she’ll go to jail & 2) she thinks the r*pist baby daddy is going to suddenly change and be a family man
i’ve explained to her countless times, unless she told someone about the abortion pills, no one will know. now that she’s 9 weeks pregnant the pills are no longer an option though (i think).
she’s always complaining to me how depressed she is and how her depression will negatively impact the baby, she called me one night saying she had a gun to her head because she feels alone. she got on her knees and begged her abusive felon ex to take her back when the r*pist blocked her on his social media and said he wanted nothing to do with her anymore.
this woman’s life is in fucking shambles. i’m getting nervous about this baby of hers.
she had so many opportunities to abort with the pills i gave her.
im an outsider in the situation and don’t know what to do. aside from offering the pills i really don’t know what to do as a friend. not to sound like a monster, but the baby should not be born. the r*pists genes do not deserve to be passed on.
also i feel like when the baby is born, it will be in danger and notifying cps would be the best thing to do for the babies safety, but she’s told me several times that she would kill herself if something like that happened.

CONCLUSION

At its heart, Indigo Park is a tragedy, one that would make both Shakespeare and the ancient Greeks proud. It starts off with the creator wanting nothing but good, but slowly devolves into a horrifying, downward spiral. After all, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
Isaac Indigo has a dream of bringing his imagination to life, for people everywhere. The beginning of the twentieth century began horrendously, World War 1 being the deadliest conflict at the time. Wanting to help everyone and bring at least a spark of joy into their lives, Isaac Indigo launches headfirst into the media of his choice: cartoons.
Indigo comes up with his first permanent Mascot, Lloydford L. Lion. A loud, booming, rambunctious character, Lloyd sought to be the spark of happiness that Indigo hoped he would be. Lloyd would the very best actor, showman, and orator. He’s arrogant, but not pompous. He’s loud, but not with ill will. He’s the beginning of the cast that Indigo envisions, a character whose sole purpose is to please the world. It’s not a surprise that Lloyd is an actor, after all. He seeks to distract the world from its woes, at least for a bit, and make everyone have a good time.
Indigo, emboldened by his sudden fame and success, proceeds to churn out four more individuals: Rambley the Raccoon, Mollie the Macaw, Salem the Skunk, and, eventually, Finley the Sea Serpent, though he comes in separate from the other three.
Rambley Raccoon, a quick thinking, sharp tongued, cheeky little gremlin, is an instant hit with the people, becoming the second most popular character out of the five. Mollie Macaw, a happy-go-lucky bird with a love for the open skies, acts as Rambley’s best friend, the two practically glued together. Together, alongside Lloyd, these three represent the ‘good guys’, a trio that want nothing but the best for the people.
However, every hero needs a villain, and thus, Salem the Skunk was born, a snappy, malevolent little critter that wished for the world to revolve around herself. She has a knack for potion making, a capable chemist who uses her concoctions to bend the wills of others to herself, only for herself.
Rambley and Salem end up becoming fated rivals, nemeses who dislike each other the most, out of every character that Indigo created. Using Salem, Indigo would spread the message of peace, of friendship and everlasting bonds that always triumph against evil, and Salem.
This continuity continues for a period of time, Indigo eventually adding one more character to his roster: the melancholy sea dragon, Finley. Finley’s main goal was to be the educator, to explain the natural world around people and share the fascinating and the beautiful, especially in regard to the ocean, a concept still so unexplored, while also trying to appeal to an older crowd alongside Lloyd.
However, poor Finley wouldn’t ever be that popular amongst his peers. Perhaps it was his gloomy, exhausted aura that pushed people away, or perhaps it was his towering, and frankly scary, size, or even maybe because he was deemed boring by the youngest, who were more keen on Rambley, the character that appealed to them the most. Even the other characters, whether Indigo intended for this or not, seemed a bit annoyed by Finley, and often left him to his devices.
And, for a while, Indigo’s plan succeeded. His popularity and notoriety only increased as time went on, gaining him influence, money, and prestige. His plans were working! He was making a difference, making smiles appear on the faces of people who would otherwise be swept away by the woes of the world!
Everything started to crumble, however, when yet another horrifying conflict arose: World War II. The Old World was thrown into chaos, Europe, Africa, and Asia becoming the bloodiest battleground in human history, surpassing even the Great War that came before it.
So, Indigo concocted a scheme, a way to raise the spirits of those he could currently help, his fellow Americans. Indigo Park was to be his magnus opus, his monument that would transcend his lifetime. Here, all of his creations would gather, all of them having their own attractions, bringing a level of access that had never yet been realized before. Costumed people would walk around during operational hours, bringing his characters into the real world to interact with those that needed refuge from the outside horrors.
However, while his park became a success, spearheaded by Lloyd the Lion, the very first, there was something that bothered Indigo. These costumed performers, while certainly a stroke of genius, underperformed. Besides that, they sometimes broke character, and destroyed the immersion of the guests, and were quite costly to keep around, alongside the engineers, the logistics division, and the Ranglers that helped run Indigo Park. Not to mention, the cost of custom costumes, of fabric and materials, rose higher and higher as quotas began to be placed and maintained in the USA, due to the resources it sent to its allies overseas, before eventually joining their allies in the fight against evil.
If he couldn’t simulate his characters, why not make them? Animals that would be living, breathing creatures that would merely need care, compassion, and basic necessities? Hiring a bunch of the best scientists, he gave them a special role: The Royal Ranglers, those that would be entrusted with this secret project.
Indigo, while a creative man, didn’t understand science as well as these individuals, and likely never would, but he would make them keep logs, records of their successes and failures, of their many experiments. And eventually, their labor paid off: One of each character, Mascots, came to life. They breathed air, had red blood flowing through their veins, were real, physical creatures, but also remained gentle with the guests. Once they were unveiled, there was no longer a need for costumed performers to roam around Indigo Park. They could also be trained to perform shows of their own, such as Finley and Lloyd, while the others could supervise their respective districts! It was a win win!
However, not everyone was so pleased with the results. The performers that once roamed the streets found themselves without jobs, only some kept around to care for the new Mascots, their betters, their replacements. And that made them furious. Why should these abominations, these stupid, ugly freaks replace them? Behind Indigo’s back, these disgruntled employees would begin their revenge slowly, minimally. Withholding a small amount of the supplies the Mascots needed, occasional cruel words. As time went on, this turned into a coping mechanism, the treatment of the Mascots progressing into physical violence, vile, cutting words on the regular basis.
Sometime before this Lloyd would end up giving up the title of main character to Rambley, who had gained immense popularity, even more than Lloyd himself. While it annoyed the proud Lloyd to be first mate, he would hand over the title graciously, partially because Rambley had always been jealous of Lloyd’s popularity and fame, and maybe, just maybe, this change would do them all good. Their abuse had been escalating, much worse than any thought possible. Salem was the only one to oppose this decision, thinking that it was all only to the benefit of Rambley. Mollie was the opposite, supportive of her best friend. And Finley … well, there was no way to consistently speak with the reptile. He was always kept in Oceanic Odyssey, far away from their cages underneath Jetsream Junction. And besides, none of the four particularly … liked Finley. Sure, Rambley had befriended the sea serpent, but that was done moreso to have some rapport and sway over the gentle giant, who was much too shy, like, ~obnoxiously~ ~shy.~ He was always so gloomy, so pessimistic, so willing to accept whatever came his way. No, Finley was definitely not an agent of change, but of pitiful complacence, locked away with his prized shell collection.
However, things did not improve at all. In fact, it only got worse. Tension between the Mascots was at an all time high, Rambley having become hurtful to even his best friend Mollie. He was still suspicious of Lloyd, convinced the lion would steal back his position as ringleader. Salem and Rambley, and thus with Mollie, also began to sour drastically. Salem was convinced that Rambley wasn’t doing anything to help the five. After all, he and Mollie practically abandoned Finley, someone who they claimed was a ‘friend’. Lloyd too became frustrated with the raccoon, Salem whispering in his ears, convincing him that Rambley had only pushed for Lloyd’s demotion to finally be the one above Lloyd, to have more power.
Mollie was soon caught in the crossfire of a particularly intense feud, Salem and Lloyd on one side, Rambley by himself on the other. Rambley, her best friend in the whole wide world. Rambley, that same friend who would sometimes be mean to Mollie for no apparent reason. However, no matter what Rambley had done to their relationship, it wasn’t Rambley’s fault. It was one time when Lloyd became particularly aggressive that Mollie had to finally end this.
The fault does not belong to Rambley! “Not Rambley! He hurts Lloyd! He hurts Lloyd!”
And suddenly, it clicked for the Mascots. No matter how much some of the Mascots didn’t like each other, there was one person they all could agree to hate: Isaac Indigo. Their creator who had left the newborn animals to the mercy of vengeful, spiteful, horrible people who did nothing but spit upon and abuse the Mascots. It was decided that they would fight back. They would show those humans that they were not muzzled dogs, but barely contained predators.
The next time the Mascots were in the presence of these Ranglers, Lloyd finally snapped. It was a particularly brutal day, and Lloyd would suffer no longer. With a crippling roar, Lloyd launched himself at the Ranglers, the other Mascots following suit.
Isaac Indigo had walked into work expecting the day to be like usual, but it was to his horror that he learned of the Mascots attack upon their Ranglers. Calling a hasty evacuation, guests were shoved outside of the park with no explanation, no answers. Even the authorities would not be able to provide answers. No, they couldn’t learn of such a thing; it would ruin Isaac Indigo and all that he had worked for.
Temporarily, the entire park fell under the control of the Mascots, who were a bit shocked with how easy it was to win their freedom. However, their victory would not last. They all would suffer the consequences.
Lloyd was deemed the biggest threat to Indigo’s plans, so he had to be the one dealt with first. But how? The scientists that Indigo had hired came up with a plan; repurpose the Critter Cuffs to make a high enough pitch to incapacitate the lion, before locking him up for good in his theater. Alongside this, in order to better guarantee the safety of their people, a resuscitation feature had been added to potentially save an employee's life, if it came down to it.
Luring the beast to his stage area, the humans spring their trap, their Critter Cuffs wailing, racking Lloyd with so much pain that he couldn’t do anything but curl up into a ball. With the help of some engineers, they lock Lloyd in his own theater, a special clearance required to even access the area. This is where they toss most of the assets Indigo Park does not wish anyone see. Research papers, binders, notebooks, it’s all scattered here. And while here, Indigo decides to deal with Mollie Macaw as well.
Mollie is dangerous in that she knows planes and how to use them. They’re massive weapons, so, the way to disarm the bomb that is Mollie is to lock Jetstream Junction behind the Critter Cuffs, as well as a massive lock and key. The key itself would be stored at the very back of Lloyd’s theater, a place where only they would know to look. And once they seal the doors one final time, Mollie, Rambley, and Salem would have no access to it.
Finley would be left to his own devices; he’s contained in his attraction and as long as they don’t approach, they’ll be fine. The remaining Mascots can’t hide there forever either, and the humans know that. Even if Finley is a deterrent, the humans would eventually invent a way to deal with the serpent, who would be unwilling to resist for too long.
And thus, two Mascots were dealt with, one Mascot crippled. Only Salem and Rambley remained threats with their rides and arsenals, though Mollie is still dangerous with her sharp beak and claws.
After some time, Mascot Rambley and Salem decide to retreat further into Indigo Park, further away from the entrance. Their movements were too easy to track with that blasted Artificial Intelligence system watching through the bountiful cameras. Mollie, however, can’t bear to leave her home, her hangar. She tries to reason with the two others, but ultimately, no agreement can be reached. Salem and Rambley would withdrawn, and Mollie would come, if she wanted to.
Eventually, the two sneakiest Mascots, once sworn enemies, were now the only one the other could rely on. Now brother and sister, they tried their best to weather the storm, but were ultimately dealt with. Mollie, grief-stricken with the loss of her home and being abandoned by the ones she called friend, had no will to fight anymore.
This entire process took almost ten years, finally ending in 2015, while the park had been closed in 2006. Outside, people slowly forgot about the enigmatic end to the once beloved park, distracted by the rapid expansion of other sources of fun and media. Indigo, saddened by the fate of what he once thought of as his greatest achievement, didn’t have the heart to tear the place down. It was too dangerous, so he merely bribed the local authorities to close it off from curious onlookers. He would command the AI Rambley to have most of his files wiped concerning the fate of the park, wiping all data concerning the back and forth between humans and their experiments brought to life. He’d be restricted to the Registration Center, cut off from the actual park, and only present in one computer until Indigo found a way to salvage the situation. And that’s where Isaac Indigo left Indigo Park.
Mascot Mollie is left alone to wander the park, all her friends gone, missing. She stumbles into Rambley Railroad, the only place that she can see all her friends, before she stops at Salem’s exhibit. Eyes narrowing in hate, Mollie remembers that it was Salem that pushed and manipulated them all to fight back. If Salem hadn’t been there, none of this would have happened. This leads Mascot Mollie on a destructive rampage, wrecking the whole area as much as she could. She eventually stumbles upon an animatronic version of herself, which shocks her when it repeats Mollie’s own words, almost like snidely trying to hurt Mollie with her own words. “Not Rambley! He hurts Lloyd! He hurts Lloyd!” Once again angered, Mascot Mollie pounds upon the robot until the lights fade from its painted eyes, slumped in a pile of metal rods and broken brick. From there, Mascot Mollie leaves, vowing to stay away from the place.
However, what Indigo did not account for was an urban explorer duo that made it their life mission to explore a wide variety of places. Laura and Ed made quite the dynamic duo, always exploring what they wanted, where they wanted, how they wanted. Though they trespassed and sometimes even burgled, they were never caught by the authorities, and their concealed presences on their channel was enough for the two to not be charged and arrested.
However, the two found themselves in a weird limbo. All of their newest explorations lacked a certain ‘oomph’, with even their viewers noticing the lack of excitement and passion of the two. So, Ed decides to set his sights on a big fish: Indigo Park.
Laura, his partner, is instantly worried by Ed’s choice. All the places they went to before were practically abandoned, the maximum they had to worry about were old motion detectors and an occasional camera or two. Indigo Park, however, would most likely be very secure, swarming with cops, even, so she tries to dissuade Ed, but Ed only becomes more pumped to break inside. Resigned, Laura promised assistance if Ed could find a way inside. Ed finally goes to this famed Indigo Park, home of so many of his treasured memories as a child, intent on having all of his personal questions answered.
It is to his surprise that the place is so easy to slip into. All he had to do was avoid the occasional patrol car, climb a fence, and viola, he was there. The entrance gates being locked up, however, was a bummer, but maybe the Registration Center would have some information. It would be even more of a shock to discover an AI Rambley, the same that Indigo had locked there.
AI Rambley would guide Ed, the first visitor in exactly eight years, inside, Ed collecting all sorts of goodies, such as plushies, ears, drinking containers, and even a vintage Rambley costume mask. However, Ed is disappointed by the way the AI practically ignores the state of disrepair Indigo Park has fallen into.
Lured by the sudden sound of Rambley speaking Mascot Mollie rushes over; Rambley came back for her! But it is to her horror that it’s merely a mockery of Mascot Rambley, that old AI speaking to a human! Mollie, wary and frightened of the implications of this, decides to merely follow cautiously.
Following the directions of the AI, Ed travels through Rambley Railroad, fixing the ride when in breaks in the wrecked zone of Salem the Skunk, her cutout and props left in broken pieces. It is during this ride that Ed senses he’s not alone, and notices Mollie Macaw stalking him. However, she’s not threatening in any way, so he leaves her be. Why antagonize this … Mascot? Person? Ed doesn’t know what to think of her, but maybe, if he’s careful, he won’t have to deal with her.
Ed is then directed to Jetsream Junction, but is disappointed to find it locked away, not only by Critter Cuff, but also by lock and key. The AI mentions a key in Lloyd’s theater, though, so he heads that way. What Ed does not expect to find is Mascot Lloyd himself, dozing on the stage. Quickly noticing Ed’s presence, however, Lloyd flees, remembering all too well of the danger that humans posed to him.
Unfortunately, Ed is left without AI Rambley’s presence, and Lloyd is slowly but surely pushed farther back into his domain. Lloyd at one point tries to attack, but the lion is clumsy. Though he can’t die of thirst or hunger, he still suffers from their effects, his body weak and dirty. Lloyd then leaves and lets this man do whatever he wants. Maybe if Lloyd hides in a corner, the scary human won’t come for him.
However, he is soon consumed by anger when he realizes that Ed takes the keys to Jetstream Junction. He can’t let this human escape, he might try to go and hurt Mollie! She’s probably locked in there like he’s locked in here!
Lloyd attacks, or tries to, at least. The accursed Critter Cuff wails, its high-pitched waves causing Lloyd to be paralyzed with pain. Once the sound stops, Lloyd runs away, his fears of torture reignited as he is subjected to pain he had not faced for almost twenty years.
Mascot Mollie, always lurking, heard the Critter Cuff go off, and she draws her conclusions well; Lloyd tried to fight the human, but was driven back, hurt and embarrassed in his own territory. From here, Mollie’s old, unresolved anger begins to build, following Ed as he opens up Jetstream Junction, much to her surprise. At first, she’s delighted. Finally, her old domain is open! She explores the place, running into Ed as they both take notice of one another. Perhaps she’ll let Ed go; he did do her a favor, after all.
But that notion is soon dissolved as she watched Ed run about the place like he owns it, Mollie’s anger mounting as he goes deeper into her home. Finally, she has enough. She attacks Ed, chasing him through the halls and tunnels Mollie so loves. Unfortunately, this final act turns out to be Mascot Mollie’s last. Just as she lunges for him, her head gets severed from her body by a metal door, her blood coating it and the surrounding environment bright red.
It is from here that AI Rambley is forced to acknowledge that this is not his familiar Indigo Park; it’s old and worn, the Mascots that once made people laugh now try to hunt them down. He forgets that they were abused because those files were wiped from him, and Mascot Mollie’s cries are very hard to discern as the echoes and Mascot Mollie’s own voice is ruined by age.
AI Rambley decides his best course of action is to enlist Ed’s help to repair the whole theme park. After all, he has all the information on how to go about it in his database, it just requires a physical body to do, something that the AI sorely lacks. And so, AI Rambley directs Ed toward the first place they need to kick back up: Oceanic Odyssey, home of the Mascot Finley. Perhaps this shy, reclusive sea snake won’t be trying to kill Ed.
On the way, though, Ed nearly stumbles upon the laboratories where the Mascots were made, so the AI makes sure to block that avenue. Ed was AI Rambley’s only hope of success, he wasn’t risking the man run away in terror from the sights and notes that likely were down there.
Ed finally reaches the Oceanic Odyssey attraction, pushing open the doors and following AI Rambley inside, catching a glimpse of a long, green, sea dragon in one of the aquariums …

Well, that’s about it! 12k words and 24 pages in, and I only covered the first chapter. Hoo boy …
I don’t think I need to reiterate that this is what I think happened, canonically. There will obviously be some wrong information due to the limited evidence I have to work with, and I intentionally remained vague during certain parts.
Despite that, I am very confident in a few ideas, such as the Mascot uprising, the weaponization of the Critter Cuff specifically against Lloyd the Lion, and the secret laboratories hidden behind that Royal Ranger Room area.

All my life I have pondered on why the world is the way that it is. Why evil seems to prevail in this world. Why people are called 'Great' for being conquerors and killing people. Out of everyone in history there hasn't been anyone like Jesus Christ. In 3 years of ministry with no army, spreading love has left such a massive impact 2000 years later. To me this proves his divinity. I truly believe in my heart that Jesus is God and the Son of Man. I am willing to die for this message. I have had 6 encounters with God now. He has revealed the secrets of the universe to me and confirmed my already existing suspicions of this world. I do not want any glory for my self, all glory to the one and true God Jesus. I am just simply relaying the infinite wisdom he has given me - but all glory comes from him. I am a mere mortal Human like yourselves. After what I experienced and have been told and the love I experienced and that engulfed my spirit. I know for my self, I just want to spread this to as many people as possible. Because Jesus loves every single one of us, he really does. He told me. However, we do also have free will and that plays a massive part in life. If you choose to live your entire life apart of him and you don't even dedicate 1 second of your time to get to know him - how can then you turn around and say "Father you have forsaken me" when something bad happens in your life? Imagine you are a father and you are responsible for a child's life. Now lets say that child grows up and chooses to disregard you as a teacher and chooses to never listen to you. Now lets say your child gets him self in some trouble. Can that child now turn around to the Father and say "This is because of you" or should that child take accountability? He chose to live his life outside the teachings of his father and got himself in the mess he got himself into. Regardless the Father still loves the child and can't stop loving him despite the fact the child does not listen. That is us and God. He still loves you even when you are sinning but he hopes you find the light. Just as the father of the child prays to see the day his child does well and succeeds and becomes a full grown well taught and well behaved functional member of society and adult. That can look after him self and others around him. God is everywhere around us, he sees everything. My human mind cannot begin to comprehend and articulate the greatness of God. I could wake up and talk about it and go to sleep and wake up and repeat and to the day i get old and grey I still will have words to say, and i would never run out of words. God is the word of life. To quote the scriptures John 1:1 - In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. He really is the word of life and this elaborates on his infinite greatness. God wants you to find him and he hopes the best for you - he wants you to eat among him in the kingdom of Heaven. The question is are you willing to let him in? What is the number one persecuted religion in the world? Christianity. The one religion that gets openly mocked, everyone feels disheartened by but nothing is done about. This proves it is the truth to be a Christian means to follow God and the teachings of God. Accept Jesus as the Son of Man and let the truth set you free. Amen. No other religion gets so criticized as much as us by Hollywood, media and music industry etc. Street preachers will be attacked on streets for spreading the good news of the Gospel in a 'FREE COUNTRY'? Do we have freedom? or is freedom just an illusion and a tactic of Satan, he made us all think freedom is money when in reality freedom is God. Take a look at Lil Nas X, Sam Smith, these are humiliation rituals taking part and they are openly mocking us now... They worship Ba'al as mentioned in Romans 11:4, Numbers 25:3 and Judges 2:11. They want worship of the people and we are giving them that. All the glory they want is from the people. They want you all to think we are more advanced than what we are - this is a hard truth pill to swallow i am aware. But Jesus said in Matthew 11:15 - "He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." So those who are willing to accept the truth. Note, this will disrupt the whole fundamental belief you was told to believe in and your reality will be shook. We have been brainwashed since school since kids we was told we live on a sphere, most of us grew up in Christian countries and they never put any emphasis on the Bible they just dismissed the teachings of it and replaced it with science. Who you going to trust the almighty all knowing God or a human prone to error. They hide the truth away from you. The Flat Earthers are correct the world is Flat, not because they are wise and they figured it out and we are all stupid. According to their own science it contradicts everything they said that the vacuum of space has so much radiation, that i am struggling to believe that a normal not even specialized for the event camera was abled to take photos on the moon and return back home with clear images... Now lets really analyze what was the authors intended message of this song, as everything is ambiguous and open to interpretation by others, however, the author always has an intended message. What can the Sun be looked as. God. So if you replace Sun with God, God raises us and he understood that Hollywood sells Californication. Now what is Californication? That is the fairytale that came from Hollywood, California - the AI dream all you guys are eating up. "Space may be the final frontier, but it is made in a Hollywood basement." Now what is a final frontier? It is the final and most biggest achievement for humanity. This is just a illusion sold to you by the devil for your soul and money. You can try discredit this particular group as conspiracy theorist or maybe look to the possibility they got given everything they wanted the money and they still wasn't happy, they was around all the wealthiest and most powerful people in Hollywood, just as i trust the eye-witness testimony of the disciples. So do i trust the subliminal eye-witness account secretly contained in this song. I can imagine he saw a lot of shady stuff going on in Hollywood that really troubled his soul. You don't have to look far to know Hollywood is a dark and evil place. Think R Kelly, Drake and Diddy to name a few but i could go on more. It is evil. No they made allegations of him being a pedophile despite the fact that he is dead and cannot defend himself. Whether you believe in God or not, ask your self is this just. Now whenever i mention him people mock his name, yet he is not here to defend himself. These people are evil. The walk back home felt more slower than when I walked to class this morning. Like having concrete shows stuck inside the bones of my feet. Never thought that I would be so mentally exhausted like I was a five year old kid playing a game of five dimensional chess with Raptor Jesus and Sherlock Holmes as my opponents.
But there she was again, the Dino Amazonian car mechanic I saw earlier this morning, once again taking a smoke break. This time, sitting by some concrete stair cases designed to be resting places for the exhausting tourists who would spend countless of money of cheap teacups and hats.
As I was in a hurry this morning, I find myself standing from a distance. I lean against the bricked walls of a old pharmacy that is now a cafeteria that may change name by every seasons, trying to act like I would be in a Hudson Rex movie. I study her to see if I can deduce her story like a true detective.
Aside how pretty she looks and despite that she seems to be only about a couple of years older than me, her posture is like of a hard skinned veteran or a drop out high schooler, and her eyes... Never realized how much fire they seems to hide, yet they just are mellow and stoic as they stare out for millions of miles in front.
She seems to be a part of greaser culture or maybe former, due to her shoes of a particular brand that you can only buy at the Goth-a-saurus online clothes store, her hair style had this distinct smell from a more motor oil hairstyle spray. Or maybe it was just the oil grease from the garage, there is always that.
She smokes that cigarette that I think is a Newport brand with uncanny ease like I would breath air. No real enjoyment of it, just breath in and breath out, letting out a big cloud of cancer inducing smoke out in the air. Though ironically, she notices a couple of a baby carriage, then she stops acting like a smoking train engine and waits until the couple passes happily passes by.
The human man with his winged ptero wife seems really happy as they chat with each other and the new born baby, though I am quick to notice the sharp twitch on her nuzzle. Is it anger? Contempt? Shame? Guilt? A bit of everything? What could this pink and blonde woman have done to have such a powerful mixed reaction towards people who seems to have a happy life going on, that she seems to refuse and reject it out like a circus performer with lactose intolerance who just drank milk in spite?
I realize my fuck up when she turns her stoic gaze upon me. I might as well have been naked while carrying a huge cut board over my chest with big fonts that says "I Hate Triggas" written by how subtle I was trying to study her.
I do pray that maybe she thinks that I was looking at her by accident, just me being casual and looking around. Though again, me being naked with a very offensive statement written on a cutout board. Very subtle, it is not.
Though I see something. In her eyes. A flash of something. I can't deter what exactly. Does she recognize me from this morning? It was just so brief, I just zipped by her. Am I standing out so much, despite this city being populated majority by humans. I think I only saw like two dino students back in college.
What is it with her eyes, I feel so... Targeted? They really pinpoint through me like burning hot needles into own eyes. Then suddenly as the very silenced air was interrupted by the violent honk.
Surprised that my heart didn't stop by the rapid honkings, I turn my head towards the origins of the horrid sounds.
It's a worn out 80s station wagon driven by a Karen T-Rex lady, honking against a innocent bicyclist who just stood on the side of the road minding his own business talking with someone in his phone.
I turn my focus back to the Marmalade Needle Piercer, only to see that she is roughly and quickly pressed the cancer sticks into a built in ashcan on the top of a garbage bin passing by. And just like that... She was gone.
