Hey guys this is my first time commenting and I was wondering if anyone with rheumatoid arthritis was ever able to squat or get back on there knees I’m 20 f and it feels so defeating that I can’t do it. Any advice?

Last time Buzz was shown destroying. He sees his past life right before him and snaps. He sees a familiar face. A woman who resembles Heather. Buzz wanted to marry her. What is her response? People arrive in the location and so do the Justice Drivers. Buzz quickly covers his mouth. Buzz" Hey we're getting married tomorrow." Everyone wishes them luck. Harper throws a fake smile on. Tinn" Congratulations you two(remembers him from earlier)." The Justice Drivers all wishes them luck.
While leaving, Draum looks back and sees the look on Harper's face. Harper begins to signal a look with her eyes. Draum" Something is not right here." Strider" What are you talking about?" Draum" That woman seemed like she didn't want to be there or with him. She gave me this look. A distress call." Julmbo" Maybe you're overthinking it." Draum" I know what I saw. That woman needs help." Julmbo" Alright. We'll follow the guy." Tinn" This is the guy I bumped into earlier." Strider'' He could be the the guy I fought." Spike" Could be. We won't know until we find out." The Justice Drivers are hiding and spying. Buzz is in the area. Draum uses his body for distraction. The Justice Drives get a hold of Harper. Buzz" Heather? They've taken her. HEATHER!!!"
Harper" Thank you guys. I don't know what I would have done without you." Julmbo" We're the Justice Drivers. Just doing our jobs." Tinn" What's your name?" Harper" It's Harper Sukinuu. That guy was a psycho." Harper talks about Buzz and gets to know the Justice Drivers. Spike" I see what you mean." Draum" Wait a minute?! You said that he'd do anything for Heather. I have an idea. We'll just have to use that for us then." Julmbo" That is really risky but we have to try it." Strider'' If this guy is an Anti-Sapien then that mask man should be too." Spike" Then that means they are most definitely together." A boy is shown(Conithio Town) taking without paying. Has a hood on. Boy" Yummy. That was good. Must find more." A Crow was flying around in the back.

Takei tries to attack CJ but Jillian stops him. Takei'' Why you!" Jillian" I won't let you hurt my friend." Tijiri" Friend?! She's lost it." Takei'' Keep talking like that!" Jillian" It's tme to fight the evil duers." Tijiri" You got to be kidding me. Anti-Sapien vs Anti-sapien." Takei battles Lady Lightning but not that long. They both leave. CJ" Thank you." Jillian" That's what superheros are for." Eyashi" How many more Anti-Sapiens are there?" Jillian" Just those two." Phil" I thought it be more?" Jillian" I did hear FATHER say there's another Anti-Sapien at Conithio Town." Fasha" Back at Conithio Town." Eyashi is calling the Justice Drivers again. Julmbo" You got an Anti-Sapien on your Side. Jillian" There's an Anti-Sapien in your location. Be very careful." Julmbo" Wow you're real. We already ran into another Anti-Sapien. He used bugs. Do you recall a Anti-Sapien with bug power?" Jillian" No. I only know Takei and Tijiri." Julmbo" Who might they be?" Jillian" Takei is the masked one and Tijiri is the mohawk man." Julmbo" So you don't know each other. Can you put Eyashi back on the phone?" She does. Julmbo" This guy was a psychopath and needs to be put down. Well at least we only have to worry about three Anti-Sapien for now. But Jakob, the bug guy tried to force this woman to marry him. He kept calling her Heather. His past life kept interfering." Eyashi" Sounds like a complete weirdo." Julmbo" Like some people(says it funny/talking about Eyashi). That was lucky that Draum had a feeling. Now Harper can be safe. We need to take them out one by one."
Fasha talks about wanting Julmbo to teach her how to utilize the Extension Blade. Julmbo" Anytime when I'm not busy." Takei and Tijiri are together. Takei" Can you Believe the nerves on that girl." Tijiri" She is out of control. That's what she is." FATHER" We need her more than ever." Tijiri" She's made up her mind." FATHER" Mind You say? We need a creator. I know where to go." She was trying to fight my children. And I don't like my children to fight each other. I'm trying to forgive her. She turned her back on us and is with the outsiders. I need her back. Jim" What is it?" FATHER" I need you to finish that suit. How long are we talking about?" Jim" Several months." FATHER" We don't have that long! Can you make something that allows you to take an item from the finished timeline, and put it in the unfinished one?" Jim" I believe so! Yes." FATHER" Excellent! I used to be a creator myself. Back in my days.". Jim" I'll get to it then." FATHER" There's just one more thing I need. I need a brainwashing device. So in case she acts up. You can never be too." Jim" I can't. She is my little girl(adult). Screw you and you are just a conscience. You can't hurt me anyway!" FATHER" You're right. I cannot." Takei and Tijiri reveals themselves. FATHER" But they can. Strider'' It's sad that we have to leave Harper with that freak show."
Next day/wedding. Jakob" You look stunning in that dress Heather." Wedding occurs. There are no people. Private wedding. The officiant" Do you, Heather, promise to be Jakob's friend? To comfort him and listen to him? To celebrate his successes and to support his struggles? To love him, respect him and tenderly care for him, through all the days of your life?" Harper" I do." The officiant" Jakob, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in (holy) matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?" Jakob "I do." The officiant" I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." They kiss. Harper unwantedly. Jakob" Now we're together forever."
The Justice Drivers arrive late but not intended. They go for a sneak attack. Jakob" What did they come from?" Strider" Time to take you out, asshole!" Julmbo" You will pay for everything you've done!" The Justice Drivers battles him 5 on 1(+ Draum). Jakob" (he laughs)Don't think for one second I'm intimidated. I'm a god-damned Anti-Sapien for Pete's sake." Towards the end of the fight, Julmbo manages freeze Jakob. Strider is going to burn him up. However, an interruption occurs. Lights go out. When they return, he's being carried out by a weird crawly thing(large). Draum" What is that thing? One of his bugs?!" The crawly thing says" (female voice)Not by my watch." Spike" Damnit! We were so close!!" Tinn" All that work. For nothing."
Crawly thing is a woman. FATHER" That was a close one. We have to be more careful. Thanks for the save, Wiggy. Wiggy" Don't mention it." Jakob wakes up. Jakob" what are you doing here? Sister(older)." Wiggy" Saving your ass." FATHER" We're nearly there. It's time for a visit." Jakob" Where might that be?" FATHER" Togyu Manji. There are 3 more Anti-Sapiens there. We'll need to unite with them. Then the Anti-Sapiens will be invincible." Wiggy" Now that's a plan." Jakob has a nonchalant look on his face. Doesn't like to get help from his sister. Togyu Manji. Takei and Tijiri pay Jim a visit. FATHER" So how are we coming along?" Jim" I have finished the first device and went to the future to get the the super suit. Just a few touches on the last device." A few touches later. Jim" I'm complete." FATHER" Let me see" Jim starts to walk away.
FATHER" Wait! There's one more thing I need you to do specifically." Jim" And what is that?" FATHER" I need you to give it to her personally. Put the brainwashing device inside the super suit." Jim" I can't do that!! Are you mad?" FATHER" That is the point." Takei and Tijiri both stare at him evilly. Jim" Fine I'll do it(sad voice)." Tijiri" That's the spirit." FATHER" 2 more Anti-Sapiens are on their way. All we have to do is sit back and wait." Takei" I'm bored. Going to harass some people." Tijiri" Have fun." FATHER" Call your daughter over and tell her the suit is finished." He does. Jillian arrives with CJ. Jim" It seems you have company?" Jillian" This is CJ. We met a few days ago." CJ" Please to meet you." Jillian" She wanted to see the super suit in person." The super suit is easy to put on. It starts off small then expands. Laughter is heard. Tijiri appears.
Jillian" Back for more?" Tijiri" This time it's different. I feel bad for you. Attack!" Jillian strikes CJ. CJ" What was that for?" She tries to snap out of it but can't. CJ" Snap out of it!! It's me. CJ." Jillian" I don't know any CJ. You are an evil duer." CJ" She is not listening. Guess it's time to fight back." Tijiri" This is intriguing." CJ finally gets to fight Jillian. Jillian is going to finish off CJ(ending). A voice streams" LEAVE HER ALONE!! Sez Unemori arrives on the scene. He has a gadget blade. Sez" Get out of here!" CJ" I don't run from fights, kid." Sez" Fine then." Tijiri"' I guess that's my cue." He fights CJ while Sez battles Jillian. Tijiri rolls his body up and attack. Sez uses his gadget blade to scan his abilities. Sez" It seems you can absorb whatever you touch then distribute it to any body part." Tijiri" Right you are. It is sad that you came just to die." Jillian" Your opponent is me." Sez gets distracted. Jillian" Never take your eyes off the ball, evil duer."
Sez" I have you know, I am not a villain(talking like a hero). I am but a noble hero. A man of the faithful people. You are but a person who is for herself and not anyone else(still talking the same)." Jillian" Take That back(deep voice). Do my ears deceive me? Did I really just hear that? I want you to know that I can never be this fowl creature of a person, you call villain." They both continue to talk like heros. CJ and Tijiri both get distracted of it what they are saying. Tijiri" Will you 2 can it already!! All of your stupid super hero talk is giving me a damn headache!!" Sez" You just don't appreciate our work." He's about to keep talking but Tijiri punched him. Tijiri" Oh no you don't." Jillian is doing the same thing. Tijiri" No not you to! I'm kinda regretting her being on our side." FATHER" Oh you can bare her." Tijiri" I don't think so. Wait a minute, we're supposed to be fighting. You've got me distracted! Let's finish this up shall we!"
Ending. CJ and Sez are about to be finished. Fasha appears. Tijiri" I remember you. Your appearance doesn't matter." Eyashi and Team Blaze appears. Eyashi" Back for more. Wasn't expecting you to show up." Tijiri" I'm not ready to fight, so I'm going to skedaddle." They both leave. Zushi" Good thing we came in time. Didn't you say that he left last time(looking at Eyashi)?" Eyashi" What are they planning? They are clearly up to something. This happened again with the Justice Drivers. They are waiting for something but what?" Fasha" Why was Lady Lightning with Tijiri?" CJ" She just started to attack me." Phil" Whose this guy?" Sez is going to talk like a hero when CJ cuts him off. CJ" Oh no you don't!" Sez l" I wasn't going to do the talk! I'm Sez Unemori. I saw this girl in trouble so I helped her. I was here for someone. I heard they moved here. Do you know group called Team Earth."

And the Brainwashing device was if she'd be rebellious. He mentioned wanting to get the Anti-Sapiens together." Eyashi" It all makes sense now. Did not expect to see that trick." Time passes. A male appears this time. Takei" Where'd he come from?" He becomes a demon as well. Demon Bear. Takei" Demon power? They must be from the same place?" Another one appears. He is an Animal Humanoid Gorilla. He is stuck in his form. Demon Gorilla.
Tijiri" The 3 of you still can't beat me." Sidney arrives. Takei" You still need more people to fight me." Sidney" It sure took you guys awhile to get to the area. You're going down." Takei" You know, I think I have a few more minutes. Let's do it." Sidney summons his weapon. The others join in. Takei" That's the spirit. Join in. The more the merrier." He launches his blades like an arrow but to a citizen. Gorilla says" Oh no , he's gonna kill em." Tiger catches it with her teeth but barely. Takei" My, that was close(sarcastic tone)." Eyashi" We have actually discovered something. We've got word that the Anti-Sapiens are joining up. I believe it is going to be here." Corroshi" Why do you think that?" Fasha" Togyu Manji is a very large area. They probably want to takeover here. And besides, there's a lot of incidents that occur here anyways." Corroshi" Nice response." So I got accepted into this school of health professions ( did my prerequisites in community, applied for transfer, transfer got accepted on the condition that I finish the classes I was taking now and and with a 3.0 minimum gpa). Ended semester with a 2.99 sgpa, literally 0.01 off. It's not even the cumulative gpa (3.4), it's my math and science gpa
So this gpa does not appear directly on my transcript. Should I risk it and send my transcript anyways and see what happens? Should I rescind my acceptance and take classes In summer and apply next year? Should I talk with the director of the program and try and see what she can do about it?
I didn't get the gpa because of slacking off. My SO was hospitalized various times during the semester. She has rheumatoid arthritis and was wrongly diagnosed every time she went to the emergency room until we finally went to a competent hospital and they successfully diagnosed her. Before that we were biweekly going to the emergency room, me staying with her and all of what that entails. Plus I also had my full time jobs etc.
Not trying to make excuses but it's just 0.01. I'm open to any suggestions. Sorry for such a long post. Thanks

Does anyone have any tips for living with symptoms but no official diagnosis (or support from family/healthcare providers)?
I have listed my symptoms below and explained a bit of my story under spoilers, as to not detract from the general request for advice, only provide context.
Symptoms: - severe joint pain in my hands, fingers, toes, knees, hips, shoulders, and my jaw - joint stiffness in my knees, elbows, shoulders, fingers, and hands - the combination of joint pain and stiffness in my shoulders has made it so I cannot eat or cook without having to intermittently change hands - right inner elbow has been consistently swollen with a sac of fluid for over 7 years now - can't carry a 5lb bag of sweet potatoes for less than five minutes in the grocery store without getting tired and dizzy - will experience discolouration and numbness in my hands and feet. If I sit down for more than twenty minutes, my feet will start turning purple--my friends in school used to call me corpse feet (affectionate, I hope). My hands can discolour while I'm shopping for groceries. If I get cold my fingers and toes will turn purple then white and lose all feeling. - my feet will go numb, without warning, while I'm driving. It doesn't matter if I have been driving for twenty minutes or an hour, I risk my feet going numb and making it difficult to gauge pressure on gas/brake - I get severe nerve pain in my arms that travels up my arm, not down. No inciting movements or actions that trigger the nerve pain. It has happened while I was driving, cooking, stirring a vinaigrette for my grandma. - chronic severe chest pain that has led me to think I was having a heart attack over seven times (if I ever had a heart attack, I'd probably just think "it's just the pain" and miss it). It gets worse when I take a deep breath and can make me feel short of breath - joint stiffness in the mornings and evenings especially - muscle pain... everywhere - sun sensitivity that causes severe migraines, rashes on my arms (and on my cheeks), and fatigue. I cannot be out in the sun for more than twenty minutes without feeling nauseous and wanting to hide in the dark like a vampire (cravings for blood, thankfully, isn't one of my symptoms) - sores in my mouth - severe fatigue (waking up feels exhausting in itself) that can leave me nearly falling asleep at restaurants with my family and struggling to keep my eyes open while driving - brain fog - sore and dry eyes - all of my joints pop (even my jaw) - blurry vision as if under water, no warning before it happens - vertigo - weakness (cannot grip stuff very well and have struggled to open ziploc bags while trying to give my cats treats) - ears ringing - low grade fevers (had a weekend where it wouldn't drop below 40 degrees Celsius but it tends to stick around 37-38 degrees Celsius) - positive ANA of 1:160 with coarse speckled pattern
My Story:
I have had joint pain, swelling, and stiffness since I was 14 years old. I'm 25 now. Most of my symptoms I have been experiencing for almost a decade now. I have a family history of rheumatoid arthritis and have had a doctor test my blood for rheumatoid factor but it always came back within regular range. Two years ago, I tested positive for ANA after my chronic illness caused me to lose my job. It was first 1:160 then 1:80 when we tested again a couple months later.
The world then shut down due to Covid and I had numerous doctors tell me they wouldn't see me unless I tested positive for Covid. I understand. It was an incredibly difficult time for healthcare workers.
My symptoms, however, did not care about the overworked healthcare system and continued to interfere with my day-to-day life.
I have had an MRI done to check my spine and neck, confirming there's nothing pinched that would be causing my nerve pain. The doctor ended up telling me it might be because I was born premature and I'll just have to live with it.
I have had ultrasounds and a CT scan done on my swollen elbow and never heard anything back which I'm choosing to take as "we didn't see anything alarming".
Now I am scared to drive alone due to my symptoms and live in constant pain. I have tried to see doctors about this and have been told "you're too young to have these issues" or "it's probably depression, you're too young for it to be anything else"... I finally got into a new doctor and they sent a referral for me to see a rheumatologist, especially given my previous positive ANA test.
Rheumatologist wanted updated bloodwork. All my bloodwork came back in normal range. My doctor point-blank told me "there's nothing wrong with you, your blood is fine, a rheumatologist will not help you" and then told me my symptoms are too complex for me to continue seeing them... so that feels a little like a kick in the stomach.
My mom, who means well, and lives with her own chronic pain, tells me it's because I don't have a routine (I have t been able to find a new job after losing another job due to my medical issues) and if I had a strict routine I wouldn't have so many issues. She's also of the opinion you need to just find the energy to combat fatigue...
I feel alone a lot of the time and like I'm trapped in my body that's failing on me.
If anyone has any tips, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey,I’m 21 been dealing with trying to get a diagnosis since 15. I just got diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. I’ve been researching and trying to find people with similar experiences but didn’t really find much.My doctor just prescribed me methotrexate for the first time. My doctor is giving it a 4 month trial on me to see if it works. I was wondering what people experienced on the drug and if it’s worth all the side effects that come with it. Im really worried about the hair loss that I’ve heard a lot of people having. As well as the nausea and headaches. Also thanks for being a safe place to ask questions and learn ❤️💕

I was diagnosed with hEDS last year. Over the past few months I’ve been showing signs of RA, particularly in my hands (swelling, pain, stiffness, ulnar drift, etc). I’m wondering if anyone here has been diagnosed with RA? I have an appointment with my GP soon and will request blood tests.

It's my Anti-Sapien name(shows symbol on mouth/keeps mouth covered like Kakashi). Heather was a very upbeat person. She loved trying new things. Heather hated the loud noises. We went on many dates. I would do anything for her. She hated my brother. So you know what I did? I killed his ass. There were these people who kept aggravating her. They were killed as well (Harper gulps). Now are you afraid of me? Heather."
Harper" No(scared voice)." Buzz" Come to me (his bugs fly around heIn her face). Heather told me something before her passing. She said that she loved me very dearly. As an unrepentant Jim Henson fan I love all types of puppets but Gelflings are nowhere on my "Top Creepy Jim Henson Puppets" list 😂 She is a "most puppets are creepy" person but is okay with classic Muppets and Sesame Street monsters. Sometimes opposites really do attract.

Basically I have arthritis in my thoracic spine as well as some kyphosis. I’ve always noticed that my mid/upper back would get stiff after hours of standing or using it for physical activity but that’s all I would notice. Ever since I tweaked my back 3 months ago using the arm blaster workout tool my back has always been stiff majority of the day and just has a tight dull pain. Where I’m confused is this, arthritis takes years to build up you don’t just wake up with it one day so I’ve clearly had this degenerative issue for some time. Secondly I’ve always known arthritis pain to kinda come in flair ups unless it’s a certain form like rheumatoid then it can be constant. Now lastly where Id like some advice or more clarification on this is when I spoke with a chiropractor he said ever heard the term straw that broke the camels back, that’s what you can think of with this pain is you finally pulled it strained your back thus sparking off your lingering pain. Is this normal and how arthritis can be? You can kinda have mild or minimal pain and once you injure or do something to irritate that area it can spark your arthritis to linger for weeks months or years? I just want better understanding on this so I don’t think what I’m feeling could be something worse

basic information i’m an 18 year old female and i have widespread pain including pain in joints and muscles which feel like it’s stabby/burny type pain
to sum it up i’m working with my gp (doctor) to try and find the reason for my pain, i’ve had blood tests for a positive ana but anti-dsdna and ena is negative, c3/4 and crp is normal which rules out most autoimmune diseases according to my doctor, my rheumatoid antigen is within normal range, which my doctor has ruled out all types of arthritis, i’ve been having these pains for about 7 years now and i don’t know how to cope with it much longer. i don’t use otc drugs due to drug addiction in the family, has anyone had a similar problem to this? my doctor doesn’t know what could be causing it, does anyone have like ways to cope or other possible tests that may help figure out what is causing it?

Awaiting my next rheumatologist appointment but it’s not until mid July , my rheumatologist booked these Ultrasound scans because I’ve had permanent inner and outer ankle swelling for about 2 years and some of my fingers are starting to bend/twist slightly. The scans showed up bilateral Posterior Tibialis Tenosynovitis which is new. The synovial thickening showed up back in 2019 so that’s not new.
I have symmetrical joint pain in both shoulders , both hands/fingers/wrists (very deep painful thumb joint pain) both knees, both ankles/feet / toes since 2018-19. A large body covering of psoriasis. Nail pitting and sort of wavy looking lines on my nails?? It all seems to point to psoriatic arthritis which my original rheumatologist suspected, however, my new rheumatologist has looked back at my old scans and said there was not any positive signs of inflammatory arthritis on my ultrasounds back then (2019) I also did not have the blood markers for rheumatoid arthritis. My original rheumatologist back in 2019 was also confident he could feel nodules on my joints indicating I also had osteoarthritis, but the recent radiologist said she did not see any on the screen whilst doing my scans so I’m also unsure if I actually have osteoarthritis now too?
I wondered what these results may indicate? I do have an appointment in about 6 weeks and these results will be discussed but it’s been 5 years of suffering and no successful treatment so really hoping for a concrete diagnosis this time!

Hello! I was diagnosed with mild carpal tunnel by a neurologist in March after experiencing finger numbness in both hands. The numbness has pretty much gone away after sleeping with wrist braces. But I am having a bout of hand pain (all over hand, palm, tops, fingers etc) and finger stiffness. I am also seeing a rheumatologist for possible Rheumatoid Arthritis ( positive RF blood work) so I was curious if the hand pain and stiffness is a symptom of the carpel tunnel, or is this because if the possible RA? Preventative cardiology part 3: Inflammation
Inflammation is a major risk factor for ASCVD. Importantly, this refers to chronic, low-grade inflammation. Acute, high-grade inflammation such as that seen in an infection is a totally different process and maybe very beneficial to fight off a bacteria or virus restoring the organism to normal health.
Chronic low-grade inflammation is most commonly seen in various auto immune conditions (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, etc), But it's also thought to be related to lifestyle factors such as a pro-inflammatory diet, sedentary lifestyle, and genetic determinants, among others.
Low-grade inflammation contributes to ASCVD by making atherosclerotic plaques more vulnerable to rupture leading to heart attacks and stroke as well as contributing to a pro coagulability (clotting) environment.
Cardiology tends to think of low-grade chronic inflammation As a risk enhancer for cardiovascular disease, and may help to drive decision-making regarding when to initiate a statin or how aggressive to be about modifying other risk factors like blood pressure and LDL cholesterol.
Measurements for low-grade chronic inflammation include:

1. hs-CRP (High-sensitivity C-reactive Protein)
2. LP-PLA2 (Lipoprotein-associated Phospholipase A2) 3.INFLA score

Hs-CRP Is overwhelmingly the best studied and is included in risk stratification guidelines from the American College of cardiology and American Heart Association.
LP-PLA2 is also well studied And is more specific to plaque inflammation and stability.
The INFLA score includes an HSCRP measurement among other variables, commonly measured and gives a score of -16 to + 16. It has also been extensively validated, but less so in cardiology.
I typically measure all three in my patients, and importantly, one measurement is not very valuable. Rather, it is how the numbers track over longer periods of time when patients are in their normal state of health. These are also useful metrics to follow as we intervene with lifestyle and medications such as colchicine, aspirin, and fish oil.
In part 4, we'll discuss measurements of insulin resistance which is considered part of metabolic health but is a major risk factor for ASCVD as well.

Ok, so I'm going to make this as short as possible while giving enough information for you to judge. So back story, we were all D addicts in the beginning. We were all using mth. appx 10 years ago my best friend whom I had known since I was born introduced me to her ex-stepbrother we shall call him Jim we hit it off. we were together for nearly 6 years. he was controlling, and abusive in every way possible to me. However, he has always been a good dad to our special needs child. when I finally worked up the courage to kick him out my best friend offered to move in and help with my child who loved her as much as he did me. I was going through a lot, she started bringing in drugs (I had been clean for years only dabbling from time to time with my ex when my child was spending the night with his grandparents.) I started doing more trying to cope with everything going on. (I know I know I was a pos who deserved what came next I guess) She took pictures of drugs in a secret drawer that my child had no access to. Only she and I knew they were there. She went straight to my ex with them, sent them out to the whole family his and mine, and went to the lawyer with him. I found out that my ex and best friend were romantically involved. (Yes ex step siblings. I know I thought it only happened in corn too) She went from being Aunt (we will call her Hoe for name sake) Hoe to just Hoe. I never stopped fighting for my child with Jim I was never drug tested I got sober off and on and begged to be tested at court but when I felt I wasn't going to get any help from the court I completely fell off the wagon (only getting video visits with my first child) fast forward 2 years I had met yet another D addict man we will call him Jack and fell pregnant. I got clean. I was talking to Jim and our child on a visit and Jim began to tell me that I should give Hoe another chance and that they were not sleeping together it was only because I was high that I got to thinking that and that she was not the one who took that picture someone one else had sent it to him so on so forth. so I studied on it and Jack was in and out and I was getting lonely and started to believe that maybe it was just the drugs making me crazy. so I messaged Hoe and apologized and invited her over. Jack came in and waited for her to leave and told me I was crazy for inviting her over and that she was going to try to do the same thing with our baby and he wouldn't have to kill someone before he let that happen blah blah blah. fast forward 3 more months she had snuck and let me see my oldest child once taken me to most of my prenatal appointments. And then Jack drops the ball that he and hoe are going to start seeing each other. I kicked him out and told them they could both rot in hell for all I cared. I had the baby and found out Jack was back with his ex-wife so I gave him the opportunity to see his son. He came by and visited almost every day for a month and then was in and out at least 3 times a week for a couple more months. December rolls around and he goes to jail I help his ex wife bail him out she winds up leaving him. He slowly stops coming around as much. says hes going to rehab wants me to come stay at his place and watch it while he is gone. i decline. I find out he is back with Hoe he tells me he is leaving for a year long rehab. she stays at his place. Jack comes home after 24 days and has to go turn himself in to jail for 30 days. He claims hes clean, is going to church ect. which is wonderful. (he has been clean for 3 months , i have been clean for 16 he has never had the baby unsupervised.) I told him he could see the baby any time with supervision and my only request is that she not be around my child. He then informs me they will be getting married. I congratulate him but they are not married yet . I agreed to let him see the baby as long as she doesn't get out of the car. I even offered to stay in mine while he visited with the baby at the park. two months goes by and he finally asks to visit. We meet up the park and she jumps out and walks straight up to our child. He did not let her hold him. I let them visit for an hour and then blocked their number. I didn't want to argue about it in front of our child. AITA?

My wife and have been together almost 2 years. Like nearly every story on here, mine starts the same. Intimacy was great in the beginning. Coming from a previous DB I was very forward about my expectations for Intimacy and sex. She was completely on board. It was perfect. Until it started to show down. Sex went from sometimes a few times a day to sometimes Lucky if it was one a week. This started about 3-4 months into the relationship and has steadily gotten worse over time. We've had many discussions about this and she assures me that it's not me.
About 6 months ago, she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. That has taken a huge toll on her physically and mentally. I've tried my hardest to be compassionate and she says that I have been. The issue is, now the Intimacy issues are because of the pain and such which, if the issues hasn't started long before that, I would believe but that's not the case. This started long before.
We decided to schedule sex. Which helped the frequency but the desire isn't there. She genuinely seems to enjoy once we get started (when she is physically able) but there is nothing outside of the windows of Intimacy. I can say something flirty or touch her in a sexual manner I get nothing from it. It's like she doesn't even know that I've said or done anything. She rarely initiates. She won't touch me sexually even during the act. Oral has been gone for a very long time except once a while for a little for foreplay every few months. I do all of these things for her with pleasure. I'm not a selfish lover. But because of this, the sex we are having just feels like she's doing it because I've brought it up so much and I feel terrible about that.
She's having shoulder surgery in 5 days and won't be able to do anything which is completely understandable. My concern is, if things are like this now, will we ever get back to what we even have nowmoreless what we used to have? I really feel like this is going to be the end.
I'm to the point of having this internal struggle. I want sex with her (that she is engaged in) more than anything but at the same time, I don't want sex with her at all. I feel guilty for my own needs. I feel terrible for pushing the issue with evening going on with her but at the same time, the issues started before all of this. She genuinely seems to feel bad about it all but yet does nothing to fix things. I've explained we don't have to have PIV sex. There are others ways of pleasuring each other that might not be so physically demanding. She shows little to no interest.
I guess the point of my rant is that I'm looking forward to taking sex off the table by force (surgery). My hope is since I know she can't physically do anything versus choosing not to that I can just get turn a point of turning it off and giving up. I can't leave her. If sex was out of the equation all together, I think it might be easier because I'm not holding into hope that things will change. So, I've decided to give up completely. Hello friends and warriors, question for the community. Husband also has LC (more severe than mine) and it has mainly manifested as completely debilitating rheumatoid arthritis. He definitely had it before the infection that gave him LC but it was manageable with maybe flares once a year or less. Now he can barely walk and his wrists and ankles are constantly red and almost cartoonishly swollen.
His primary doc believes in LC but has no alternatives to help him but steroids and pain killers. The rheumatologist has tried him on every (crazy expensive!!) RA drug to no noticeable effect. A big intramuscular injection of depo medrol or dexamethasone will help and allow him to move and function again for a few weeks, but the crash that happens after the steroids are out of his system is scary. I have PEM too but not like his: this is a full blown crash with return of most acute phase symptoms (including cognitive) and bedridden. He’s now at the point of just not taking anything because the crash is worse than the temporary fix. He is also, understandably, very depressed (he’s 40 yo).
Anyone else here with similar? Any advice on supplements or other things you’ve found relief on/from? We’re both on a low histamine diet so that definitely helps but still…he’s just in agony.

First time redditor here. I watch the show and have been having conflicting feelings on some recent events that concern me about my mother. I saw something about a want for a long post, so this one is for you.
Background: I have been no contact with my parents for nearly a year, due to my deteriorating mental health while in contact with them. I have been diagnosed with severe/moderate anxiety and depression for awhile now, as well as PTSD and with a history of occasional panic attacks. My father has been abusive to me (all ways except sexually) throughout the years and my mother caters to him a lot. She has a history of abusive partners. Since I was a small child, my parents started isolating themselves from family/friends. My father suffers from a slew of physical illnesses and is not able to cope well on his own, whether it is with daily tasks or dealing with interpersonal relationships.
A big point of contention between my father and I has been the revelation of the existence of my half sister when I was about of legal drinking age. I never knew. I had my first boyfriend during this time. One day, my father went into a fit of rage when he feared I would get pregnant and become a young parent like he was, to which he spilled the beans. It was very traumatic for me. Ever since, I have an irrational fear of pregnancy, despite being on reliable birth control, and desired to contact my sister. I have a half brother who I grew up with all my life, so the news shook me and I want to form another similar sibling bond because I have the best big brother, who I always brag about since childhood.
A couple years later, my sister reached out to me during a shift of my first post-college job. However, it quickly turned ugly. My sister and our father got on bad terms and he no longer wanted me to be in contact with her. I was adamant to know my sister and my nephews, especially since I felt I didn't have much other family I was involved with anymore. I only had bittersweet memories of them and desired to make more good ones. I was so young, I could no longer remember their names in order to contact them and felt scared to ask. At the time, I was living with my parents during the heated arguments about my sister, which spanned over the course of several days. One morning before work, my father burst into my room while I was dead asleep in yet another fit of rage and he pursued a physical altercation towards me and damaged my wall with his fist. I snuck out after he left since I had work. My mother updated me he implied he was suicidal, to which she was skeptical of the validity of this since he apparently threatened this before. I soon left the family home to live on my own after much tension in the household. I lost contact with my sister.
Fast forward to the year of the height of the pandemic, my sister reached out to contact me again and we've been in touch ever since. Then a year ago, a disgruntled abusive ex of mine spilled the beans to my father about our contact to hurt me, despite my ex agreeing with me to not include my father about this information yet. I was in the process of making plans with the help of a therapist with a particularly helpful specialty in this specific situation (medical illness management, family therapy, etc) to tell my parents about the relationship between my sister and I. My father is convinced she is out to get me because he believes she is like her mother, who he does not have a good relationship with. I did not feel like my parents were in a good place to be receptive to the news, due to getting over the fear of the pandemic and my father's poor health. He does not handle stress well at all and has had countless near death experiences with his health alone due to stress, among other triggers, so I was concerned and wanted to be very cautious. I feel this is an important note; his emotions are greatly affected by his physical well being. To name a few, he has general neuralgia, Graves disease, chron's disease, ulcerative cholitis, stiff man's syndrome, lupus, arthritis, etc. It is very difficult to live with all this, so I do try my best to be understanding while also making healthy boundaries.
Over the course of the next year or so, I have tried to work on the relationship between my parents and I. It was miserable. My sister and I felt manipulated to organize a meetup, only to be gaslighted by accusing us to have ill intentions, on and off. It was a lot of emotional abuse. Texting rants would be sent to my phone during work or late into the night; of legal threats, threats of serious mortal harm to my sister, to her mother, to estrange me from my mother and brother, to cut me out of his life too many times, etc. I would cry at work. My boyfriend at the time (current fiance) grew concerned whenever I would visit because he didn't know if I was going to make the 2 hour trek home crying inconsolably or not. I had moved closer to my parents to try to be with them more, especially during the scary, uncertain times of the pandemic at its height, which concerned me for their health.
Eventually, it was too much to bear. I kept being lied to about my father's seriousness of cutting me out of his life. He was trying to manipulate me to not see my sister, despite trying to make us all work on a relationship as a family versus keeping our relationships with each other separate when it was clear it wasn't working out. I attempted to seriously talk about this awful repetitive behavior with him (we've had many prior talks before about his behavior), and he ended up exploding on me during our phone call. I hung up, explaining I won't entertain him speaking to me like that. He expected me to visit him ASAP to work it out, but I was no longer comfortable doing so because this cyclical behavior was not changing despite trying to be understanding. I blocked him so he wouldn't be able to harass me into the night as well as at my early shift at work in the morning. So, I was only communicating with my mother and the main phone line at this point, until I felt like he talked to me more appropriately.
One day while talking to my mother, I found out my father never told her about the physical abuse I experienced (she was never around when he got physical with me). I was under the impression he had, and this discovery upset her. She talked to my father about it, who apparently denied remembering this and she confronted me about it. I explained and she tried to deny my experience, which I had a visceral, angry reaction to after she stated she had to protect my father. I angrily yelled a few choice words to her, said my goodbyes and blocked all their numbers. My father attempted to reach out via a letter and a birthday present. The letter was 62 pages. Single spaced. Small font. Two or less paragraphs to each page. It was a terrible letter. It only confirmed my feelings of how bad my father talks to me when upset, since I usually try to block out the memory of the awful verbal abuse. I returned the present because in the letter it explained how selfish I was, falsely took advantage financially of them and others. It was a bizarre, twisted delusion of prior events that took place of them trying to forcibly fund particular things in my life (college from their inheritance while I denied their money but I was a part of their jount account so they paid off my loans while calling me stupid for trying not to take it, various gifts they sent me that I did not ask for, more emotional blackmail towards me with millions of inheritance money that I do not want, etc). I returned the gift back to their residence along with a much shorter response letter, requesting family therapy or the cessation of our contact. I haven't gotten another letter since.
This brings me to today. While I felt bad about my reaction towards my mother, I could no longer cope with the abuse. I was getting not only mentally sick, but also physically. I experienced horrible panic attacks, debilitating migraines, which I do not have a history of, and intestinal issues. I called out of work numerous times, it got that bad. My relationship with my parents was starting to affect my quality of life. Now that I no longer am involved with them, I surprisingly do feel a lot better. I no longer feel so depressed, haven't been experiencing panic attacks nor those physical symptoms. I can finally work on studying for certifications pertaining to my job, whereas before I had so much trauma involving studying growing up that it was hard for me. I still battle with my demons, although I do feel significantly better. I am getting married this year to my wonderful fiance, who I love dearly and not only by how great he treats me. I have a lovely house, pets, a good job, and planning for a good future retirement by my own hands. Life is great.
Now, circling back to my question: Should I initiate a wellness check on my mom? My brother knows everything and has been a great support thus far. However, my father stated very recently he nor our mother will be contacting him anymore. It turns out, my brother is facing similar abuse I went through and the relationship has turned sour. My father accused my brother's wife of stealing his narcotics and she fell out with them over this, understandably. My parents attempted to conspire with my brother against his wife, by demanding to feed them information. My father has history of paranoia about other people stealing his medications, as well as pressuring my brother and I to illegally ship them to him while traveling (I refused). My brother supported his wife (she is a good woman) and has been at odds ever since last year. His support towards my parents are diminishing.
I did not expect this to happen. I was initially ok cutting off contact, knowing they will be ok on their own. Now I am starting to question that. I see the isolation my mother feels like she's forced into. She is a bubbly, sociable woman normally. More and more, she is becoming a recluse due to my father's demands and I see this as a really bad sign. I am concerned for my mother now that my brother is no longer involved. I know she does not want this, as she's told me as such, but she feels it is easier to give into my father. My brother is going to go into residency next year and he questions the mental stability of my father. After talking about it, I suggested perhaps to do a wellness check on my mother through a domestic abuse institution she used to volunteer for. I feel she will be more likely to open up to them, since she has expressed her desire to volunteer there again (my father convinced, or perhaps coerced, her to quit to take care of the household more). It just doesn't sit right with me how this situation played out.
I confided in the close people in my life and they expressed concern this will result in a backlash on me, or I may sever my relationship with my parents forever. I have the clarity to know for myself I do not want to go back to the same old relationship I had with my parents, if they do not seek help just like I did with therapy. On the other hand, I cannot deny I do desire to have a healthy relationship with my parents, if one day they feel ready to explore family therapy. All I want is familial love without any more than that. It burdens my heart not to feel like I get that from my parents, without strings attached. All the while, without me, I want to know they are at least ok because I still care about them, despite everything. While it is true my mom is an adult, at the same time I have great concern for her well being and it would devastate me to know I could have done something to help her, if she happened to be in a situation she feels she is negatively spiraling down into with no support at all. I am unsure exactly what to do.
