I know some probably won’t believe me, but this story is 100% true. The only thing I’ve life about in this story are the names. This really did happen to me and my family
Prologue: This is very long story, and will be split into two parts, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. To premise this trilogy, there are a couple thing you need to know. We are on a vacation to LA. My mom, Allie, is a doctor, and my dad, Joel, works in IT. They’ve got three kids. Me, Henry, my twin brother, Jake, and my younger sister, Ella. All names in this are replaced with fakes. None of us have been to LA before, but my parents have travelled the world, so they know how travelling works. My brother and I are both in the school band. We arrive from LA back home at midnight on the 6th of April, then leave for a school band trip to Portugal on the 8th. I am the lead drummer for all three bands, and one of only four basses in the choir, so I cannot miss the trip. My brother plays bass, but there are others who can play bass in the band. This information is to be used for all three parts of this story.
Part 1: The Drive The story starts at our Airbnb in LA. We have to leave the airport to go home. The plane leaves at 11:00pm and my dad wanted to leave at 7:00pm just to be safe. My mom said that it was fine and that we could leave at 8:00pm, my dad agreed. So the time was set. 8 PM, we would leave. We leave a little late, 8:05-8:10, because Ella, who’s 7 years old, was making a fuss. We leave, and take the 40 minute drive to LAX.
We arrive at the airport, and my dad gets into the six lanes of traffic that are converging into 1 lane going into LAX. We wait in our rental car for 30 minutes, and we have to go to the rental car return. My dad starts driving while following the signs. He takes a right, takes a right, then takes a right, and we’re right back at the six lane hellhole. My dad sees this, goes “hell no”, and turns around ON THE FREEWAY. Nothing bad happens, no horrific injuries. And we go back the way we came, through the rental car return road, making sure to follow every sign TO THE LETTER. It takes us right back.
My dad is panicking, because at this point, the plane leaves in 1:40, and we’re not in the airport. Anybody who’s travelled knows that that’s risky. My dad starts telling us in the car to look on the maps and figure out a way in. The only person who listens is my brother and my mom. My sister is playing Minecraft, and I’m listening to a podcast. After about five minutes, my dad starts yelling and I hear him, “RENTAL CAR RETURN, LOOK IT UP!!!”. This is when I realize that something is wrong. So I started to help.
My sister still playing on her iPad, we look for rental car returns. I keep asking him which one, but there’s so much yelling going on in the car that he can’t hear me. I could not tell you what the was yelling about. Because of the way LAX was built and how it expanded so quickly, the car returns are 2 miles in a different direction on the freeway, which is why the signs were telling us to go back there.
My mom says she found a way, not on Apple maps though, she just looked on a satellite map. Big mistake, because we get there and there’s a giant concrete barrier blocking our way. At this point, we’re all panicking because the plane leaves in an hour. Finally my dad yells out “Search up Hertz car returns!”. We find it, we drive there, and my dad being a “Gold Member” doesn’t have to do any paperwork when signing off the car. He just leaves the car and its keys, tells us to sprint to the shuttlebus to hold it while he signs off on the car.
We get in the shuttle bus, and my sister starts to cry. She left her new water bottle in the Airbnb. There’s no way in hell we’re going now, so we tell her to suck it up. My parents are completely convinced that we’re missing the flight, my brother is trying to be optimistic, while I am stressing out, trying to figure out a way to get there faster, because the shuttle bus went right back in the six lane hell that we had to go for a half an hour.
We sit in the shuttle bus for 20 minutes waiting, and we finally make it to the first terminal. The way LAX is structured is It’s like a horseshoe. Going from one, curving, then to six or seven. We have to be at terminal six. We’re not gonna make it. There’s 40 minutes left, and it took 20 minutes to get to the first terminal. I’m panicking, thinking, and I realize why can’t we just walk? I told my dad and he says that might just work, because it’s a horseshoe, and terminal seven is closer than terminal four by walking. So we tell the shuttle bus driver to stop the bus and let us off.
We SPRINT to the gate, and it takes us 10 minutes. We get to the desk and the lady there says “What flight?” My dad says Toronto. The lady makes a 😬 face. She says “Put a bag on each scale. I’ll do this, you run.” We all thank her furiously, then run. There’s 30 minutes, and we just got in the building, haven’t even got through security yet. He get to security, and this is LAX, what you would assume to be a VERY busy airport, and the security is completely empty, save or two or three people. We see this, and parents, although they were already sprinting, realize that there really is a chance we could make the flight, so they start to really, really sprint as fast as we could keep up. I’m surprised our legs didn’t come off.
10 minutes before the flight leaves, we get out of security. As we’re all sprinting down the hall, home alone style, I turn around and see that my mom and my sister have vanished, I tell my dad, then sprint back. Turns out they’re in a souvenir shop, getting gifts for mom’s coworkers, and Ella’s teachers. I yell at them, “What the hell are you doing?!?!?! RUN!!!” We get to the gate less than 5 minutes before the plane left. We made it.
We get to our seats, and relax. Everything is going well. Then, about an hour and a half into the flight, my dad hears a loud thump, coming from right in front of him. It’s an overnight flight, so everyone around him is asleep. He looks out to the aisle and sees a pair of legs on the floor… End of Part 1

Greetings Experts,
Need your expert inputs/suggestions/advice on our current scenario.
Just to set the context, we are running a Preschool as a Franchise from a well-known brand - our first entrepreneurial venture. Started operations around 9 months back. We currently have the following staff: Centre Head (CH, similar to Principal), 1 Teacher, 1 Help Staff, and 1 intern who will be made a Permanent Teacher in a week. CH's role is primarily to manage the overall Center, do online marketing, oversee the staff, do counseling for parents, and take care of admissions. There's also a Center Manager working online primarily through calls and online meetings, who oversees the staff, and daily activities, liaises with the Franchiser, and provides general guidance for the staff - I know there's an overlap here, will detail it below. As a Business Partner, I visit the Center maybe once in 2 weeks or in case of any occasion as well - I'm not involved in the day-to-day activities. We have weekly meetings to check on the progress and I provide the required guidance to the team. I always ensure to get feedback from my team, things that can be improved on and provide motivation in general. We do have CCTV per the directives from the Franchiser and biometrics at the Center.
General Leave policies per the Franchiser are 1.5 days Casual Leave every month with no carry forward. Summer Vacation of 20 days spread over 2 months was allocated to the Teaching staff only per the Franchiser. We extended this leave policy to the CH and Help Staff as well, as we would like to take good care of our staff. All Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays are weekends. All public holidays per the State Government Calendar. School timings are 9-5 for CH and Help Staff; 9 to 4 for Teachers.
Now coming to the scenario, there are a couple of things that I would like to seek expert opinion on. 1. Center Head was on Medical leave for 3 weeks last month due to a minor accident. According to the Franchiser, there's no Medical Leave policy as such. Was researching this and came across a policy for another private school mentioning half-pay Medical Leave with the required Medical Certificate and so on. CH had already utilized 12 days of Vacation in the 2 months, and then 18 days of Medical Leave. Now, even if I consider adjusting the Medical Leave against the vacation days, it will still be 10 days more than the available days. How should we go about with this situation? Should 10 days be considered for Half-Pay? Or are there any other suggestions? Have to make the salary payment by tonight. Appreciate a quick response on this. 2. Our school timings are 9 to 5. For the month before this accident, our CH was consistently late by more than an hour or so. Had provided verbal feedback on this requesting to be on time. I had given a formal warning as well at the start of April, but unfortunately, CH met with an accident after that. Post joining back, CH was again late by 45 minutes on the first day back to work. This was the day our Franchiser Zonal Manager was visiting the Center and I was at the Center as well. This prompted me to provide a Second and Final Warning to the CH and mentioned will have to take disciplinary action if it is repeated. What can I do further in this situation to ensure that the CH arrives on time? How did the veterans of this sub manage such situations? All our other staff are almost always on time, except on rare occasions. 3. We had to get Center Manager involved as the CH was not doing the activities/duties that they were supposed to do. When provided with certain tasks or instructions to the CH, there is often a delay in the completion of the said task by the CH requiring multiple follow-ups too. And this is not a one-off case, noticed this in many situations. I don't micromanage - I expect them to take accountability as a responsible adult and perform the required actions in a timely manner. How do you deal with a situation where the staff is not performing the tasks allocated to them within a reasonable time? 4. During the absence of CH, our Teacher had to take over the role of CH in the interim. Teacher was paid Overtime for staying beyond the normal teacher's timing. And the best part is, the teacher was able to convert the enquiries from the Parents into confirmed admissions during this time frame more than what was done by CH. We had received multiple enquiries previously and these were not confirmed. Now that I look back with the insights that I have now, I'm wondering if it has something to do with the way our CH is pitching it to the Parents. Now I'm considering promoting the Teacher to CH and converting the CH to Teacher - just pondering on this. Any thoughts on this? Did anyone have to do anything of a similar sort for your venture?

Greetings Experts,
Need your expert inputs/suggestions/advice on our current scenario.
Just to set the context, we are running a Preschool as a Franchise from a well-known brand - our first entrepreneurial venture. Started operations around 9 months back. We currently have the following staff: Centre Head (CH, similar to Principal), 1 Teacher, 1 Help Staff, and 1 intern who will be made a Permanent Teacher in a week. CH's role is primarily to manage the overall Center, do online marketing, oversee the staff, do counseling for parents, and take care of admissions. There's also a Center Manager working online primarily through calls and online meetings, who oversees the staff, and daily activities, liaises with the Franchiser, and provides general guidance for the staff - I know there's an overlap here, will detail it below. As a Business Partner, I visit the Center maybe once in 2 weeks or in case of any occasion as well - I'm not involved in the day-to-day activities. We have weekly meetings to check on the progress and I provide the required guidance to the team. I always ensure to get feedback from my team, things that can be improved on and provide motivation in general. We do have CCTV per the directives from the Franchiser and biometrics at the Center.
General Leave policies per the Franchiser are 1.5 days Casual Leave every month with no carry forward. Summer Vacation of 20 days spread over 2 months was allocated to the Teaching staff only per the Franchiser. We extended this leave policy to the CH and Help Staff as well, as we would like to take good care of our staff. All Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays are weekends. All public holidays per the State Government Calendar. School timings are 9-5 for CH and Help Staff; 9 to 4 for Teachers.
Now coming to the scenario, there are a couple of things that I would like to seek expert opinion on. 1. Center Head was on Medical leave for 3 weeks last month due to a minor accident. According to the Franchiser, there's no Medical Leave policy as such. Was researching this and came across a policy for another private school mentioning half-pay Medical Leave with the required Medical Certificate and so on. CH had already utilized 12 days of Vacation in the 2 months, and then 18 days of Medical Leave. Now, even if I consider adjusting the Medical Leave against the vacation days, it will still be 10 days more than the available days. How should we go about with this situation? Should 10 days be considered for Half-Pay? Or are there any other suggestions? Have to make the salary payment by tonight. Appreciate a quick response on this. 2. Our school timings are 9 to 5. For the month before this accident, our CH was consistently late by more than an hour or so. Had provided verbal feedback on this requesting to be on time. I had given a formal warning as well at the start of April, but unfortunately, CH met with an accident after that. Post joining back, CH was again late by 45 minutes on the first day back to work. This was the day our Franchiser Zonal Manager was visiting the Center and I was at the Center as well. This prompted me to provide a Second and Final Warning to the CH and mentioned will have to take disciplinary action if it is repeated. What can I do further in this situation to ensure that the CH arrives on time? How did the veterans of this sub manage such situations? All our other staff are almost always on time, except on rare occasions. 3. We had to get Center Manager involved as the CH was not doing the activities/duties that they were supposed to do. When provided with certain tasks or instructions to the CH, there is often a delay in the completion of the said task by the CH requiring multiple follow-ups too. And this is not a one-off case, noticed this in many situations. I don't micromanage - I expect them to take accountability as a responsible adult and perform the required actions in a timely manner. How do you deal with a situation where the staff is not performing the tasks allocated to them within a reasonable time? 4. During the absence of CH, our Teacher had to take over the role of CH in the interim. Teacher was paid Overtime for staying beyond the normal teacher's timing. And the best part is, the teacher was able to convert the enquiries from the Parents into confirmed admissions during this time frame more than what was done by CH. We had received multiple enquiries previously and these were not confirmed. Now that I look back with the insights that I have now, I'm wondering if it has something to do with the way our CH is pitching it to the Parents. Now I'm considering promoting the Teacher to CH and converting the CH to Teacher - just pondering on this. Any thoughts on this? Did anyone have to do anything of a similar sort for your venture?

If you're considering giving Goldbelly a chance, the product is trustworthy.
Overall review..
Goldbelly is definitely expensive. You're paying 2-3 times more sometimes, and some of the food won't be as fresh as having the option to dine in. Goldbelly is useful if you're really trying to splurge, or send someone the gift of some food they normally don't get to eat.
I would stay away from shops that have a 4.2 review or lower.

My experience with Michelin in a complicated one. Having gone to one, two, and three Michelin star restaurants across the globe, I've seen Michelin do some great things for restaurants, but I've also seen them bring the demise of others.
Because it's quite apparent what good things come from being highlighted by Michelin, this post is more focused on some of my criticisms of the Michelin guide, and why I think the current structure of Michelin should be changed.
Maintaining "Michelin's definition" of the gold standard..
There have been a ton of amazing restaurants given a one star review. Restaurants don't even need to be "fine dining" to be given a Michelin star, as highlighted by some of the cheap eats that have received a one star review.
But a one star review, can at times, be a curse for restaurants. Often, restaurants receive one star reviews got there by showcasing there strengths. A passion for food and creativity, a desire to share culture or tradition, or an expression of a personal brand of art.
When a restaurant receives a one star review, two things happen.

1. They begin to get huge influx of customers. Initially.
2. They start to be compared to other one star restaurants, sometimes even two or three star.

The majority of the time, when a restaurant receives a one star review, the rapidly get a ton of customers wanting to try them. And in just a few months, they start to raise prices. Because money can change people.
And eventually, they start to act as more of a "tourist attraction", and start to lose the original loyal clientele that brought them to where they were in the first place.
Secondly, they begin to compare themselves to the standards of other "higher" Michelin star restaurants.
And that typically means focusing more on a particular brand of fine dining. Hyper-attentive service, an overuse of "micro complex food"(emulsions, purees, colorful vegetation). Just to name a few.
I've seen this unfortunately happen time and time again.
If your customers wanted to go to a Eleven Madison Park, they'd travel to New York. But don't turn your restaurant into a chain of fine dining. You'll start to lose the allure, and it starts to feel like the routine of Mcdonalds or Capital Grille.

To preface this post, I want to give the disclaimer that like many things, there is not a black and white answer the question. I'm writing this as an experienced tech professional, and the information provided is based on opinion.
To start with. A little bit of history..
The golden age of software engineering(and similar jobs) is over. At least for the next 5 - 10 years. I don't think this is an unpopular opinion. The reason why between the years of 2010 - 2022, these jobs exploded, was because of the boom of the internet for commercial and personal use.
This is different from the dotcom boom of 2000s, where the internet was just starting and most of the products being created were for basic things like: putting banking on the internet, putting videos on the internet, etc.
The boom in the 2010s was related to the widespread popularity of commercial and personal products. Things like Uber, Spotify, and Salesforce. With the sudden increased usage of the digital world, there were MILLIONS of companies rushing to create digital products.
However, we're starting to see the rise and fall of some of these products, millions of startups failings, and less VC funding. In case you don't know, VC stands for Venture Capital, which are basically investment companies that give money to other companies to help them grow and develop, in return for partial ownership of the company.
As the industry began to mature, successful companies started to emerge, and many more started to fail.
The present day..
Software engineering and like jobs will continue to be important, and there will be a high demands for these engineers. Nearly every company will still need a website, a place to manage their data, and people to manage their hardware. BUT.. the basic technologies they need to run their company will become more efficient. AND there will be less research and innovation because the a lot of the trial and error already occurred.
We're in a weird spot where the demand for workers is now decreasing from it's recent peaks, and the supply of workers is now increasing because of how all the benefits of being a software engineer in the past decade.
This has really unfortunate consequences for any recent graduates or others trying to break into the tech field. There are WAY more beginning career people than jobs available. Which is made even worse with the amount of layoffs there are, where mid-level employees are now having to settle for entry level jobs.
What can we do?
I have two pieces of advice for people interested in the topic, or wanting to break into the field but can't. Try breaking in from a adjacent field, where you can get some exposure to tech. Things that data entry, analytics(this can be finance, supply chain etc). Then try to learn as much as you can from the tech people at your company.
The second piece of advice. Go into a different field. Software engineering is not for everyone. You have to learn and understand some relatively complex topics, and it's becoming harder and harder to be competitive in the industry. Healthcare, supply chain, and many other industries are booming right now.
Understanding history, you can see that certain industries will rise and fall. For the near future, technology might be one of the harder careers to break into. Something like healthcare would be that's expected to grow exponentially. The average population of the world is getting older, as less and less people are wanting to have kids. There will be higher demand for healthcare professionals and healthcare technology.
Do your best to review and understand these trends, and hopefully you can create a good life and career. Best of luck!

Hey everyone! I wanted to share some tips on how to find a job as a CDL truck driver, especially if you're just starting out. Here’s what worked for me and some friends in the industry.
1. Get Your CDL License First thing's first, you need to get your Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Find a good truck driving school in your area. They’ll help you learn everything you need to know and get you ready for the test.
2. Check Out Job Boards Once you have your CDL, start looking at job boards. Websites like Indeed, Monster, and even Craigslist often have listings for truck driving jobs. There are also industry-specific sites like TruckingTruth and CDL Life that post job openings.
3. Join Trucking Forums and Groups Join online forums and Facebook groups for truck drivers. These communities are super helpful, and you can find job leads and advice from experienced drivers.
4. Network with Other Drivers Networking is key. Talk to other drivers at truck stops, rest areas, or even online. They might know of companies that are hiring and can give you a referral.
5. Apply to Big Companies Big trucking companies like Swift, Schneider, and J.B. Hunt often hire new drivers and offer training programs. They might not pay as much at first, but they’re a good place to gain experience.
6. Keep Your Record Clean Make sure your driving record is clean. Companies will check this, and a good record can help you stand out.
7. Be Ready for OTR Many companies will start you with over-the-road (OTR) jobs, which means long hauls across the country. Be prepared for this as it’s a great way to gain experience and prove your reliability.

These are reviews of various dictionaries based on my personal experience (though I kinda ran out of steam halfway through):
Unabridged Dictionaries:
Webster's Third New International Dictionary (W3): Basically the unabridged dictionary in the US. A good dictionary overall, but this dictionary is also heavily outdated. This dictionary was published in 1961 and stopped receiving additions to the Addenda (a section at the front where new words or definitions and usages for old ones could be added) in 2002. The Addenda is a bit inconvenient to use, being separated from the main text. Note that the Addenda is where you'll find all the vulgar four-letter words. As for positives, this dictionary has well-written and comprehensive definitions, the most entries of any physical unabridged dictionary (besides the Oxford English Dictionary), and lovely hand-drawn black-and-white illustrations. It has great coverage of words in every area and field and contains even the most obscure definitions.
One oddity of this dictionary is that nearly every word is shown in lowercase, even if it's always uppercase (though initialisms, trademark, and God are the exception to this rule); a label next to the word indicates how often it is capitalized. This makes for a consistent look, but it's overall inconvenient. The definitions also tend to be a bit wordy; for example, consider the definition of "leaf": "a lateral outgrowth from a stem that constitutes part of the foliage of a plant and functions primarily in food manufacture by photosynthesis, that arises in regular succession from the growing point, that consists typically of a flattened green blade which is joined to the stem by a petiole often with a pair of stipules at its base, which in cross section exhibits an outer covering of epidermal cells penetrated by stomata usually more numerous on the lower surface, which has one or more layers of palisade cells beneath the upper epidermis and between these and the lower epidermis a mass of spongy parenchyma cells, both palisade and spongy tissue being ramified by a network of veins, and that is distinguished from a leaflet, cladophyll, or phylloclade by the presence of a bud at the juncture of petiole and stem and from a phyllode by differentiation into blade and petiole" Comprehensive, but a bit wordy and difficult to comprehend.
This dictionary faced quite a bit of controversy over being "permissive" at the time of its release. This controversy was mostly culture war nonsense, and the dictionary is no less descriptive than its predecessor.
This dictionary also has useful usage guidance and synonymies (discrimination between synonyms). Physically, this book is massive but also quite lovely. Overall, most people do not need an unabridged dictionary, but if you need or want one, this is the one you should get.
Random House Webster's Unabridged Dictionary: I found this dictionary somewhat disappointing. First, the positives: the illustrations are nice and the formatting is acceptable. It's a bit more up-to-date compared to W3 (released in 1987 and updated until 2001); however, it's still fairly outdated. However, this still gives the Random House Webster's an edge when it comes to slang and newer terms. The essay on avoiding insensitive or offensive language is a nice addition. However, the definitions are somewhat weak in comparison to W3. For example, regret is defined by Random House as "a sense of loss, disappointment, dissatisfaction, etc." and by W3 as "sorrow aroused by circumstances beyond one's control or power to repair : grief or pain tinged with disappointment, dissatisfaction, longing, remorse, or comparable emotion." In addition, there aren't nearly as many entries as W3. Overall, a decent dictionary, but the W3 is overall the better package.
College Dictionaries:
Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary: This is the dictionary most people should get. It is abridged from W3 but is more up-to-date, the eleventh edition having last been revised in 2020. Good definitions, nice illustrations, useful usage guidance and discrimination of synonyms. It's not afraid to capitalize entry words like the W3 was. Overall, if you only want to get one physical dictionary, make it this one. It's pretty cheap on Amazon.
Webster's New World College Dictionary: This is the other dictionary most people should get. In comparison to Merriam-Webster's Collegiate, this dictionary also has good definitions and illustrations; the definitions are a bit easier to understand though not quite as precise or comprehensive. It's a bit less descriptive but not by much. Overall, my recommendation is to make this your second dictionary. Best used in conjunction with Merriam-Webster's Collegiate.
American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language: This is a great dictionary. Its strongest strength is its formatting, generous margins, and lovely full-color pictures. Unfortunately, it's no longer in print. Famously, this dictionary contains the usage panel; however, this is more of a drawback than an advantage. The usage advice is subpar compared to other college dictionaries. It also has an appendix containing Indo-European roots (probably its best feature in my eyes). Overall, you can't go wrong with this dictionary even if it's not as good as Merriam-Webster's Collegiate or the New World.
Random House Webster's College Dictionary: An abridgment of Random House Webster's Unabridged Dictionary. All of my criticisms for that dictionary apply here.
Online Dictionaries:
Wiktionary: This dictionary is very up-to-date but the definitions are of varying quality. A very useful feature is the very many foreign words treated here. Also, the section outlining translations of a word into various languages is good. Obscure words are treated here too. Overall, I recommend using this in conjunction with Merriam-Webster Online or Unabridged.
Google Dictionary: This is the dictionary you use if you don't care about dictionaries. The definitions are acceptable. One useful feature is a graph showing the usage of a word over time. However, this offers no usage advice or discrimination of synonyms. Overall, if you don't care at all about the dictionary you use, just use this dictionary.
Merriam-Webster Online: The definitions are the best out of any online dictionary. However, due to Merriam-Webster's standards for inclusion, some more recent words might not be here. This is basically a digital version of Merriam-Webster's Collegiate but more frequently updated.
Merriam-Webster Unabridged: This is basically a digital version of W3 (see my critique of W3 above). It also includes the Collegiate Dictionary, Collegiate Thesaurus, and Medical Dictionary. It solves the main issue of that dictionary which was capitalization of entry headwords and up-to-dateness. Unfortunately, there's a heavy subscription cost though you can get a free one-year subscription at https://www.merriam-webstercollegiate.com/ (though this requires a copy of the Collegiate). This is my overall preferred online dictionary, and I often use it in conjunction with Wiktionary.
Dictionary.com: This is basically a digital version of Random House Webster's Unabridged. My criticisms of that dictionary apply to this one.
American Heritage Dictionary Online: This is basically a digital version of the AHD (see above). My criticisms of that apply here.

I have an anatomy oral exam coming up in two weeks for my first year of medical school. It's a big one, and while I've been studying consistently throughout the year, I'm starting to feel overwhelmed as the exam approaches.
I usually wouldn't ask for help and just try it on my own, but these next two weeks are crucial and there's still a lot for me to learn. Because I just finished high school and my parents want me to do schooling at TESDA because we will go to Canada soon. I would also like to know about the requirements to apply for this school? So recently, Ghost of Tsushima and God of War Ragnarok have launched/been announced on PC with a required PSN account. There was also the whole helldivers 2 fiasco
As a PC gamer, at first I was unclear if this meant a PSN account or a PSN subscription. From what I've been able to find online, it's the former, but if it's the latter, please disregard the rest of this post!
So you need a PSN account. I just don't see what the big deal is. You also need a steam account, but that's fine? I know it's not the same but still, it takes two minutes to create an account and then you're done. I'm aware of the aspect that some countries don't have PSN and so this makes the games unavailable in these countries. That sucks. But for most countries, why is the PSN account such a big deal that people review bombed helldivers 2 so much that Sony backed out? Personally I really don't mind making a new account if it means playing a dope game on my PC
Anyway, I'm not defending Sony or saying my opinion is the best, I'm just trying to understand why this is such a big deal for seemingly a lot of people

Hey, I am a beginner playing chess for over 4 months. I currently play chess online in chess.com and I've been very addicted to playing chess there.
What is chess.com platinum membership?
Its a membership for chess.com provides you with lessons, game reviews, infinite puzzles and so on. There's 2 plans for platinum membership which is yearly and monthly, I prefer the yearly membership since the vast amount of knowledge would be very hard to learn in a month.
Why I want this membership?
I am playing chess for 4 months now even though I am trying my best to learn chess its been very hard since without a subscription chess.com only gives you a single 5 minute video per week and one game review, puzzle per day. This slows my learning experience a lot. A membership which would give me unlimited lessons and reviews with puzzles would help me tremendously improve my game.
Why I cant get it myself?
I am a broke Indian student with no extra money I can use. I don't get any digital form of money and frankly the membership itself is very expensive here, even if I try to save money, it would take me 6 months to save the money.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Shapermint wireless bras. The reviews I've been reading are all over the place. The idea of wireless bra sounds so wonderful that I can't believe it's true. Even if its not the BEST support, but still pretty good. I typically wear Wacoal 46 H or 46 K, depending on the style.
If you've had bad experience with Shapermint, if there's any similar bras you've tried that have been successful, please let me know! I'm in the US and am open to spending probably up to 80 dollars on a bra (more if it's amazing!)
