Hi everyone! Just joined the community today - would’ve been here for years if I knew it existed.
Anyway, here’s my intro. I studied Geographic Information Science/Spatial Analysis in undergrad. I left my first job out of school (AWS solutions architect) looking to relocate to NYC and find something that didn’t require me to sit and write code 9 hours a day. I took the first job I could find at a managed service DSP, having zero knowledge of programmatic, RTB, or digital advertising/marketing whatsoever. This company taught me everything very quickly - they have a REALLY good teaching program that I haven’t seen at any other company. After 3 months I was managing pacing and performance for 30+ campaigns across 9 or 10 different advertisers. However, my job began at the launch of campaigns and ended when they delivered in full. We had Ad Ops, Reporting, Billing, Client Services, and partnerships team members to manage the rest. I also worked on the product (their DSP) at this company, helping to build the logic for many different types of bid price optimizers.
My next position was the sole member programmatic I’m a Manager at one of the big 4 agencies, working on a huge account. Previously I was the sole member of the programmatic/direct team at a startup agency. I was in a bit over my head and had to figure out trafficking, media planning, billing, partnerships, reporting, and the world of direct buys for myself - lots of YouTube and article reading. They were also HUGE brands - I was working close to 70 hours a week. It was very stressful, but it was an incredible learning experience.
Finally I transitioned to a Manager role at one of the big 4 agencies, working on a HUGE account. It’s not very stressful, I love my team and my client, and I love the brand. I’m getting to the point where I should be up for a promotion to associate director soon. However, I’m not sure this is the kind of agency I want to be at long term. I’ve heard that smalleboutique agencies provide better compensation than the big 4, and I feel like I have the experience needed to transition out.
I am considering trying my hand at other areas of the business: Data Analytics, project management, product design, etc. Maybe I could move to the sell side or join an in-house advertiser marketing team. I’ve also considered shifting to paid search or social. I’m only 25, but I want to make sure I’m on the right career trajectory.
My favorite part of my job is data analysis and visualization. Mining through data, finding performance trends, and using my findings to either build dashboards, optimize campaigns, or both. I also enjoy helping/managing the associates on my team. I don’t particularly enjoy trafficking or billing.
My main question is: what are my options? Are all of the opportunities above even possible for someone with my experience? Are there other opportunities I’m overlooking? If I stay at my current role and take the AD route, what do the next 10-20 years of my life look like?
Loaded questions, I know. I’m just a bit stressed and I’m really glad to have found a community of people in my line of work. It’s huge, but seems so niche. I’ve yet to meet a person IRL outside of work that has even heard of programmatic.

Long story short, I'm a CPA in public accounting and currently make a bit shy of $150k year. I'm currently in the hiring pipeline to join a Federal agency as a special agent. I'd be potentially looking at a $55-70k salary cut in my first year, but would be close to my current salary in 3-5 years with automatic promotions.
The main reason I started looking for another job is I'm getting quite bored at my current job. As I move up the ladder I am forced to specialize further with less variety to my daily work. I feel like it doesn't give me much purpose outside of making money. Trust me when I say I'm not complaining. This job has brought me a lot of financial freedom. I'm mostly debt free outside of a ~$20k car loan (could pay it off easily, but it's 1.9% interest rate) and I've been able to sock away a ton of cash in both my taxable investment accounts and retirement accounts. The other reason is I've largely hit the ceiling at my current company. I'm not on a partner track and from this point on out I'm mostly going to be getting 4-5% COL raises.
My work is quite good to me. Our office has a very lax dress code, if you need time off to do something it's never a problem, outside of busy season you can bugger off and do what you please, and we can mostly WFH whenever we want. That said I'm finding myself just getting more agitated every year I keep working it - I don't know if I can do this for anything beyond 3-4 additional years. Right now my job is mostly a means for me to make more money and to buy me more freedom in my personal life.
The special agent work will allow me to learn new skills, get away from a desk for part of the day, interview witnesses/suspects, learn the legal system. There are also unique exit opportunities and great government benefits to compensate for the lower pay. I like action and I feel this will give it to me while also allowing me to use my brain. I always was curious about being a detective, but was always hesitant to pursue it since local police require you to do patrols, etc. before becoming a detective. I sort of wanted to get to the detective work sooner than later.
Returning to the money aspect, I currently have quite a bit of savings and have a pretty low cost of living. I can make this work and not feel the shock of the pay cut too greatly. That said this will set me back financially and part of the onboarding requires you to go Georgia for 6 months for Federal law enforcement training (FLETC). I do not have kids and my GF is supportive of whatever decision I make so I don't believe it will be too terrible.
If you put a gun to my head and demanded I tell you my dream job or passion, I couldn't say if I would be able to give you an honest answer. I'm an ESTP and I like action, moving, and variety. This seemed like a good career to give me that + build on my current skill set.

Aime Guerlain, Pierre-François's grandson, introduced groundbreaking fragrances such as Jicky in 1889 , often regarded as the first modern perfume, and Shalimar in 1925 , inspired by the gardens of Shalimar in Lahore , India. ⭕️Today, as it has for nearly two centuries (196 years), Guerlain remains a beacon of timeless sophistication. The brand is also known as one of the manufacturers of luxury cosmetics. Habit Rouge🌹This is an incredibly successful line of fragrances inspired by the 'red jacket' or 'hunting coat' and refers to professional equestrians dark red jacket . Habit Rouge was first introduced into the market in 3 different concentrations: EDC, EDT & EDP in 1965. Since then its been represented in various iterations & stood the test of time.🌹This incredible line of fragrances has 20Flankers under its name, if this doesn’t tell how successful this is, I don’t know what is. I’ll tried to summarise all the flankers in chronological order, to the best of my ability.
This review only includes the EDP version of newer reformulated version. If I’m not mistaken 3 reformulations has been done. 1st in 1996, 2003 & sometime after by Thierry Wasser. I didn’t have the opportunity to experience vintage batches, but I had a 2015 version. So I’m familiar with the DNA. Habit RougeConcentration: EDPReleased in : 1965 (My current bottle : 2022 version)Packaging & Presentation🎁This comes in a cherry red, paperboard box, with the name of the brand taking the centre, Sandwiched by the name of the fragrance above & concentration below.🎁The fragrance comes in a flat square bottle with a heavy red cap. [Previous “briefcase style” bottles by Robert Granai are rebottled in this new flat square bottles] Perfumer☀️ Jean Paul GuerlainA generational perfumer, known for his finesse in creating modern & original fragrances. Some of his creations include 1)Samsara 2)Spiritueuse Double vanille 3)Heritage 4)Habit Rouge 5)Many from Aqua Allegoria line, etc,. Fragrance ProfileThis is a Fougère with twists. This is an aromatic—woody—amber fragrance.Notes Here
How it smells?💄It opens with bright 🍋 lemon note, it is the same as in Guerlain’s vetiver too. This lemon note starts sharp but not very abrasive. The rest of the citruses are hard to perceive.💄The immediate second note that’s noticeable is the carnation. The carnation is extremely masculine, it expresses powdery & spicy qualities. The carnation gives this fragrance a spicy & floral edge. Then comes the rose & sandalwood 🪵. 💄The Rose & carnation along with some woodsy notes gives this fragrance a Lipsticky nature or Makeup box like nuance. Many ppl may not agree with this, but this is certainly lipsticky. The rose here is hardly there, even rose haters won’t mind this one. 💄The whole fragrance is based on Oakmoss & patchouli. Other notes such as amber, Benzoin & leather are playing second fiddle. The overall fragrance has a barbershoppy 💈quality to it. Citrusy opening — floral & powdery mid & Oakmoss base. Undecorated breakdownThis opens up with fizzy lemon & some spices. The spiciness maybe from the carnation. This dries down to a 💄lipsticky or makeup box sorta smell. To my nose, this smells like Waxy Hibiscus 🌺 in the dry-down. It is not given in the notes breakdown. I’m saying this for a better understanding of the subject. That’s all.PerformanceLongevity🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑Projection🌕🌕🌗🌑🌑Compliment🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑The longevity of the fragrance maybe got affected after number of serious reformulations, but when comparing it to my 2015 version, I think the performance is about the same. Lasts about 4–5hrs with medium bubble of projection. The people who appreciate classic perfumery will love this. When & Where, For whom?🌤️ This can be an all-Seasoner, but I wouldn’t wear it in high heat. Not because it get cloying or anything, but you might not able to appreciate the beauty of this in high heat summer.🌤️ This is polarising to an extent, but has an inoffensive bubble, this can be a daily to the office. This is definitely a dress-up fragrance. For the mature audience. 🌤️ This is definitely masculine, old school French perfumery. If you are into some old-school fragrances, you wouldn’t be disappointed. But you gotta love the lipsticky rose & carnation to love this. Similarities with other fragrancesI haven’t come across anything that smell like this. But if I have to compare, this can be compared to Cartier Declaration dun Soir, but added citruses ,leathery & lipsticky goodness. But the core of Roses & mild spices, is to an extent similar to Habit Rouge. But the rose is toned at the background at all given time in HR but its not the same with Declaration Dun Soir. The similarites are really far fetched, its rather a resemblance than similarity.Verdict🎖️This is an Old-school Barbershoppy fragrance with a twist. The overall fragrance can be polarising cuz of the lipsticky smell.🎖️The performance is just about average. I wouldn’t know the performance on vintage batches like (pre 1996) but I owned 2015 bottle, its about the same. 🎖️If you are really into retro/ antiquated fragrances, then you will really love it. If you are a fan of modern day freshies & blues, this won’t please you. TL;DR :This is a masculine, old-school, barbershoppy, lipsticky floral fragrance, with 4-5hrs of longevity with medium bubble of projection. |

Hii , in task manager show only INTEL UHD, not show NVIDIA 1060 I have acer laptop which has 2 graphic driver Intel or nvidia Intel work proper But in nvidia graphic driver - I update by manually from site and Download geforce and open gefroce experience it shows same update Then i update from geforce but after update geforce show again same update, i am not able to open gefroce setting, home page also
