Abigail (2024)

Unfortunately, I was spoiled past the initial premise of kidnappers realizing they've abducted a ruthless mobster's daughter. It didn't matter, Abigail is a great production of the directing duo Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillet. They brought rich colours, readible darkness and a satisfying group of actors who executed each of their roles impressively. Seriously, I don't want to praise one actor specifically because my paragraph review would need a lot more lines; if you enjoyed this team's past works, you'll find Abigail to be an even further refinement.

Boy Kills World (2023)

The fourth credit after the movie ends is the action and fight designer, he really made compelling action scenes that sell this movie. It's bloody, it's ridiculous and kind of silly at times, but I dug it like 80s ads for RoboCop action figures, despite that movie being Rated R. Jessica Roethe's character intelligently wears a helmet, so when she's in enforcer mode we get some truly awesome fight cheorography pulled off by a stunt performer who can do it. A love letter to beat 'em ups.

Civil War (2024)

Americans think a Civil War is inevitable and based off of their propaganda machine of American Army sponsored action movies, they'll think it'll be awesome. Garland intends to grab them by the snout and rub their nose in what a dirty mess that would be. I hope that the ugliness in this movie is enough to thwart the typical failing of Anti-War Movies but I doubt that. Those salivating at the idea of the next American Civil War wouldn't be deterred by the horrors but readily take notes.

Destroy All Neighbours (2024)

Every now and then, you come across something that feels like it was made specifically for you. Growing up, I listened to a lot of prog and power metal for their complex melodies and stories. I also have a soft spot for splatter comedies, there's something I find oddly wholesome that the protagonists being able to crack jokes despite being covered in blood and guts. I loved Destroy All Neighbours and you probably wouldn't but that's OK. There's probably a film out there that speaks directly to you that I wouldn't get the appeal of and I'm glad you discovered it.

Dune: Part Two (2024)

I've been catching snippets of Dune's music and it made me want to revisit. A second time through, there are a few more flaws; rough spots, at best, like very clever tricks to make a particular scene flow together. And then I noticed even more interesting bits that I didn't notice the first time around. Overall, Dune: Part Two has risen in my estimation even further.

The Fall Guy (2024)

A love letter to stunts and how they make movies thrilling. It's nice to see a direct pull back wide so you can see how they get rough and tumble, letting stunts get their time in the sun instead of being relegated to a chopped up cut that no one knows what the hell is going on. It's also fun and light, just like a popcorn flick should be. If you're a fan of action, you need to see this.

Infested (2023)

A consistent horror movie with no contrived struggles or wins, everything is clearly telegraphed which enunciates the tension. The treatment of the protagonists due to their obvious poverty is a nice touch, as you could easily see someone richer being treated better. Infested then also manages to cram in a pretty good 'Elevated Horror' where the trauma of the film requires them to re-examine their previous problems. The spiders were also incredible, those with arachnaphobia who might be able to stomach spider-adjacent monsters will probably find the film overwhelming.

L.A. Confidential (1997)

Just shy of perfection; it's hard to move past what I now know of Kevin Spacey. Before, I thought he was a good actor and now I know it is movies that let him be himself. That taints the rest of the cast's performances, I couldn't see the character just the exploiter. Which is a shame, as look, writing and acting is otherwise phenomenonal.

Lisa Frakenstein (2024)

God, armed with Diablo Cody's words and under Zelda Williams direction, Kathryn Newton embodies the alt girl chic of the 80s of your dreams and nightmares. It goes full tilt into being a Gothic Horror Comedy which I realize is actually rare. The movie focuses on the drama, letting the comedy to organically come up, which means it is a delightful surprise instead of contrived. Cody even makes the typical different, such as having a nice, wholesome stepsister played incredibly by Liza Soberano. The test for enjoying this movie is simple; at any point were you obsessed with Beetlejuice? In which case, run to check this flick out.

Okay, so I've been working on a load order the past few weeks, have restarted a new save several times & keep running into this issue. At this point I'm unsure if my mod list or Bethesda is to blame, I remember years back when Fallout 4 released the dlc Automatron had issues with crashing, possibly the new update bugged missions again or possibly Bethesda never actually fixed them to begin with.
So anyway enough scapegoating, the issue I'm having is every time I'm on certain missions & walk through a door with a siren going off my game will CTD. These are the following missions I've experienced crashes on thus far: 1. "Restoring Order" mission while approaching the Mechanist inside the RobCo Center at a certain point a siren will go off & game will CTD. 2. "Echoes of the Past" mission while trying to clear the Atlantic Offices building of Enclave Soldiers, like before certain point in building sirens will go off & game with CTD. 3. "The Secret of Cabot House" mission while helping Jack reach the basement, same thing as others once i get to a certain point sirens will go off & game will CTD. These are the missions I've came across so far that are causing the stupid siren to crash my game consistently, I'm sure there will be more & feel that it is related to Automatron dlc issues.
A few notes, I own all the DLC's & have them installed, I'm not currently using UFO4P mod. Here are a few things I've tried to fix issue: Uninstalled Automatron dlc (game wouldn't even start without crashing), moved Automatron dlc to external harddrive, Set my display settings to 30FPS, disabled AWKCR & S. C.A.P mod. None of these suggested fixes have worked, I'm running game on a Xbox Series X, the game runs mostly fine other then crashing when that dumb ass siren goes off.
My question is am I the only one experiencing these issues, I've tried searching & haven't seen any post with similar issues. Are there any mods in my load order that stand out that could be causing this issue, possibly I have mods out of place in my load order that are conflicting with each other? Is Automatron dlc just broken at the moment? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I've been working on this load order for weeks & finally got it where I want it, I just want to actually beat the game for the first time but these missions being blocked is causing massive headache's.

I recently picked up a new computer. I set it all up, cloning the original Windows installation to the second drive and installing Ubuntu. All 3 OSes work fine, and the BIOS has no problem choosing between the different Windowses and GRUB. However, GRUB is having trouble with the two Windows installations.
Apparently, the two Windows boot loaders have identical UUIDs. This apparently means that while GRUB identifies that there are two different Windows bootloaders, it does not appear to create functionally different options for me to select while booting. Both Windows options boot in to the dummy Windows.
I tried assigning the dummy Windows bootloader a new UUID with GParted, but the option is unavailable.
I haven't encountered a problem like this before, so I am at a bit of a loss. Any ideas?
EDIT: I installed mtools and dosfstools and can now change the UUID with GParted. Hopefully, this doesn't break anything too badly, but I don't really care about my dummy Windows.

I’ve worked at this center for almost a year now though I do have more childcare experience and am about as heavily educated as one can get without college (not bragging but just trying to give a general sense of what I know) and I started as a “float” so basically someone who gives breaks and steps in wherever needed. This was mainly between our infant and Mid-Toddler(12-18m) room because I have a couple children whom attend in the other rooms and I can’t work with them per DHHS rules. I fell in love with the Mid-Toddler room and would choose to work there if possible. It’s my favorite age. I was quickly placed in the room more often and about a month ago was put into a Co-lead Teacher position, where I was the Lead Teachers assistant 3 days and I was Lead the other 2 days a week. This teacher was known to be difficult to work with and to be pretty strict with the kids but we all just figured she had her own style of teaching and the kids liked her a lot. I worked on getting along with her as much as possible and made it a mission to make it so she didn’t have much to complain about with me. We had a pretty okay two weeks working out kinks and how best to work together and then she got comfortable with me. When she got comfortable, she started showing a different side to her on how she was actually treating the kids and I was in shock witnessing the things I did over the next couple weeks. I went to our director about it (holding/shoving kids down on mats, force feeding aggressively, 20+ minute time outs, yelling and “nice” aggression if that makes sense, etc.) and she was in absolute shock and immediately called HR and got an investigation started that ended with her fired immediately (cameras were reviewed) and she came and (out of sight of kids and staff and supervised) got her stuff which included literally half the room. I was told I would be the lead teacher for a week while everything got sorted out but over the week they mentioned to set the room up however I wanted and to change whatever rules and daily plans. They asked what I thought was needed for the class so they could get it and other stuff that generally told me that they were putting me into being the Lead teacher for the room. It was confirmed today during a meeting and I don’t know where to start. I need to build relationships with parents that are confused on what happened (it’s being kept confidential) and learn how to do lesson plans. Other staff keep asking me what happened and I can’t say anything but it looks weird that she just suddenly/quietly quit and I became the Lead Teacher overnight. I don't have the skills to use the vast amount of information I have. But the information I have would help those with those skills to open the door to this active group of scammers pretty quickly and hopefully be able to shut them down.
But how can I get someone with the skills like Pierogi to use all of this information on an active group of scammers to shut them down????
I know the reality. My money is gone. I will never see the "product" sold. This is not about me, this about an open door with a HUGE head start on their operation, their scheme, bank info, contact info, etc.... to give to someone who can protect others and shut them down with the info and open contact I have with them right now.
OVERVIEW I am in contact with a group of scammers on a social media platform chat / messenger. I have been able to waste a LOT of their time....I mean MONTHS and 3-5 hours at a time (I have been able to binge whole TV series while doing this...LOL).
I have been able to get a LOT of information out of him (or them) slowly over this time. And I am still in contact with them, and I know how anyone can become a new "customer" of theirs, etc....
For example, like I have agreed to their story to pay them more money, talk them down to only a few dollars (Like from $200 to $5), get them to send me their info to send the money to. I would then even create an excuse of it not working and ask them to send an alternate source / method to send money to. I would use throw away accounts not linked to my real financial accounts (I have totally separate bank accounts not tied to my real ones for all questionable purchases, so if they ever did get hacked they would get my $5 min to keep the account open and that is it) and I would transfer the $5 we agreed to and wait for them to break their promise on deliver with another excuse to them more money first and get more different banking or contact info on them.
So I am still in active contact with him. Here is some of the information I have:

• At least 5 fact accounts on that social media platform tied together by one means or another
• MULTIPLE different websites they are ACTIVELY sell their products through (all are private domain info, but I at least know who they bought each of domains through and when)
• WhatsUp #
• SEVERAL various banking accounts across multiple financial platforms, many of them require their specific banks the money are deposited into. Including the contact info for those accounts. The addresses may be different but they are all in the same country and the same town.
• I have record of many, many other victims of theirs, i.e. I would ask for examples of what the payment page should look like (cuz I am that dumb...LOL) and they would send a screenshot of past transaction screenshots (at least one of them had their victim wire over $20,000).
• I have his voice on a video (no faces).
• I also have additional frontend and backend info I will not post here that both shows the scams they are pulling, a whole slew of victims on multiple levels, etc....

But I have NO IDEA what to do to actually get these ACTIVE SCAMMERS caught and shut down. They are still preying on other innocent victims right now. I have active contact, info, and other confidential info....
If I report them to the social media platform they will get shut down and I won't be able keep contact if that is needed to help catch them.
I am reporting them to all the necessary gov scam agencies but most seem like the DOL, where they just take your info and yell "Next"... and move on.
This YouTube channel is my favorite channel to watch. And this seems like a perfect scenario where I can give a HUGE head start of information, what their scamming scheme is, and how they have at least 2 categories of victims they use where they steal from one victim and sell what they stole to the other victim while scheming up 100 different ways to weasel out more money as they hold the product they originally sold hostage. I have it all documented, bank transfers, screenshots, etc...
They are stealing anywhere from few hundred to up to tens of thousands of their victims (proof of that too).
I know the reality. My money is gone. I will never see the "product" they sold me. This is not about me. This is about using the WEALTH of information I have (along with open line of contact) to bring this ring of scammers down and protect all of their future victims who they are targeting right now.
