Hello! I’m back for a third time with the same issue but a slightly different question. I’m going on holiday in very early August with my two kids. But she has revoked her permission, the reason she’s given is that she wants me to pay more towards the rent. She’s also told me, if I take the kids now that she’s removed permission then she’ll call the police and I’ll “get done for kidnapping”
So my question: how long would this likely take to get through a court if I went a specific court issue? I’m worried if it’ll take ages then I’ll have thrown £300 for them to say it’s fine AFTER the flights were due.
I assume I can’t get my £300 odd back for the court fee from her? I can’t claim court costs because she changed her mind right? I’m kind of hoping she’s just bluffing but she’s told me she can tell the kids for me. Or if I show the police her giving me permission then it’d be fine but I’d be stressed the whole time.

This made me want to look for some valuable stocks, I looked for Graphite stocks and I found
GrafTech International Ltd (EAF)
I did some research .
Graftech makes graphite electrodes which are used by EAFs to convert electricity into heat to then melt steel.
In August 2015, GrafTech was acquired by Brookfield Asset Management
When graphite electrode prices were at their peak in 2018, Brookfield took GrafTech public again. GrafTech paid out substantial interest that year, and Brookfield, as the majority shareholder, recouped a significant amount of money as a result. The company's stock price is currently at an all-time low 2024/05/31 1.65$
BAD:

1. They lost like 40% of their production when their mexican plant went down. Looks like an Indian producer is eating their lunch.
2. The suspension at the St. Mary facility affects 105 employees. Among them, 91 people were temporarily laid off and 14 were permanently laid off. The layoff dates are from February 13, 2024 to May 31, 2024.

CONCLUSION:

Biden's China tariffs will help Graftech , I predict that St. Mary, the Mexican facility will return to utilization, and Bookfiled will completely sell its shares. It should be a slow and good growth process. and I checked all the factory’s Google Maps, Glassdoor, and Facebook employees’ reviews of the company. Most of them are very positive comments , I think Graftech has the potential and ability to develop better . I'm hoping someone can give me some ideas or what I've missed, would be very grateful

Hey Reddit,
I wanted to share my story and some insights I’ve gained while building TextCraft AI, especially for those indie hackers and entrepreneurs out there struggling to get their projects off the ground.
Background
I’m 29 now, and I’ve been involved in building startups since I was 18. I’ve faced the same problems many indie hackers do—starting projects and never finishing them. As an introvert, I didn't have many connections in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, which made things even tougher. I live in Ontario, Canada, where the tech community isn’t particularly helpful, and I moved here from India when I was 18.

• Meeting My Co-Founder

I met my co-founder back in India. He was still in college and didn’t have much time, so I taught him programming so we could start something together. Initially, we thought about developing smart carts for shopping centers, but we abandoned that idea. With AI booming, I convinced him to build something in that space with me.

• Launching TextCraft AI

We launched our startup, TextCraft AI (https://textcraftai.com), on Product Hunt (https://www.producthunt.com/products/textcraft-ai). I thought the votes would come automatically, but they didn’t. We had to invite people manually to vote for our product. Despite getting organic votes from places like Indie Hackers, we couldn't secure the top spot due to marketing agency bots on Product Hunt.
On launch day, we had 15+ users register, which was an amazing feeling. Most users came from Reddit, Indie Hackers, etc. We got featured in several newsletters, and I started focusing on SEO. On the second day, our first user paid $15 for the premium version, but we didn't get another paying user for a month.

• Growing Pains and Successes

Our user base started growing, and people began posting about our product everywhere. I tried Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc., but most users wanted free stuff and weren't willing to pay due to fierce competition.
When we crossed 300 users, I started reaching out to investors. With no connections, I used Twitter (X) and various email lists. Most investors on Twitter say they are looking for deals but don’t respond or just reject plainly. Eventually, I met an amazing VC who gave me a due diligence sheet, but I realized I didn’t need VC money to scale the project.

• Co-Founder Leaving

Two months ago, my co-founder left the project because he lost interest. He didn’t invest money into the business and stopped showing up for meetings. I ended up helping him get a job. Now, we have 550 registered users, 30k visitors, 2300 backlinks, and users signing up daily due to our SEO efforts.

• Starting a New Venture

I’m still jobless and running this startup. To help cover my expenses, I started a new venture to help entrepreneurs build MVPs at low cost. I’ve put together a team for this, and it’s been helpful. If you're interested, check out http://mvpcat.com (I’m a cat lover, by the way).

• Lessons Learned

1. Most VCs on Twitter are there for publicity. They fund who they like, not necessarily the best ideas.
2. Entrepreneurship is hard. Even with 15 years of programming experience, starting startups and four patents, it's a tough journey.
3. Life is tough without the right connections. Being brilliant isn’t enough.
4. You’ll get more non-paying users than paying ones.It’s just how it is.
5. Most revenue numbers you see online are lies. Don’t believe everything you read.
6. Find a community that supports you and your product. This is crucial for growth.
7. Start with the cheapest tech possible. Don’t overthink it.
8. Stay humble. Owning a startup doesn’t mean you own the world.
9. Support others. Helping others can open unexpected doors.

Some tips

1. Persistence is Key • Even when things seem impossible and you face numerous rejections, persistence can eventually lead to success. Keep pushing forward and adapting as you go.
   
   1. Value Organic Growth • Focus on building a strong product and community rather than relying solely on paid marketing. Organic growth through SEO and word of mouth can be more sustainable and effective in the long run.
   2. Build a Support Network • Surround yourself with supportive individuals, whether they’re friends, family, or fellow entrepreneurs. Having a solid support network can provide encouragement and valuable advice when you need it most.
   3. Be Adaptable • Be ready to pivot your ideas based on feedback and market conditions. Flexibility can help you find the right path forward when your initial plans don’t work out.
   4. Focus on Value Over Funding • Don’t be overly reliant on securing funding from VCs. Concentrate on delivering real value to your users. If your product meets a genuine need, the growth and success will follow, often without needing external funding.

So, I left the field to become a counsellor. However, I still run a non-profit and my own businesses/etc, because why would I pay for that when I've done it for 10 years. Anyways... after trying to post a blog post and getting immediately banned with no warnings, it has me thinking... this is just part of the problem. Now, being banned from a subreddit isn't something I'm going to go cry about, but if GOOGLE is going to prefer reddit ranks, but reddit itself is run by random moderators of communities who decide who lives and dies... then what? Social sites are more polarized than ever... and many times facebook groups, reddit pages, and other "top social sources" just remove content/ban without warning. We're seeing a world where websites are being killed off for "social" content, but the social content is being wielded by the individuals who got there first and happened to aggregate. So, now what? Do we just... never grow anything? Never share ideas? Or, is the end goal that absolutely everything must be a post on that said social media site, garning more revenue in ads for both google and reddit/facebook/etc? So, own nothing yourself, have your content stolen by AIs, and only post on third party websites and never ever ever ever dare "SELF PROMOTE" (the gravest sin on reddit). Basically, the internet is becoming a homogenized shit show, and only the biggest win.

The SEO and website industries are abuzz this week due to a so-called “leak” of google information. Others have referred to it simply as API data and not a true “leak”. Either way, the community is abuzz on several key fronts, particularly that we finally have information on how the ever-elusive Google works internally. Even if this is just a brief insight into the workings of the search engine, it did confirm for many that Google’s March core update was not only penalizing good sites, but was also a colossal slap in the face to smaller, more niche-blogs. There’s also growing concern since Google has been using websites to train Bard/Gemini without consent, but that’s an ever growing battle. I have a couple thoughts on this as somebody who has been in the web design industry for 10 years, then left to become a therapist. I also run a non-profit, and I still manage around 20 websites. Some of them for these businesses, others just for fun.
The website I saw the most hits on, funny enough, were the ones making the most ad revenue. Part of me wonders if Google is simply cracking the whip on its engine to try and save money—why wouldn’t it? Anyways, that’s neither here nor there. I don’t care about that site very much as I never expected it to make revenue in the first place. Besides, we’re not talking thousands, just a few $100. I did find it interesting.
What I’ve noticed, however, from my shift from running “branded” content to “personal content” (much of being a therapist is promoting YOURSELF) is that the current web is actually not brand friendly. Reddit answers and Quora answers are ranking not just because they are top level domains (but it helps) but because people are more likely to view social content.
And then… I thought about it some more. I can’t remember the last time I’ve felt “drawn” to a brand on youtube or facebook like I used to. I simply don’t care that much. And yet, we constantly consume tik toks, youtubers, and ‘influencers’. Rather than being ‘brands’ there’s a large shift to self content. In response to this, I changed my YouTube and Tik Tok to no longer feature my organization name but my own. It’s a weird feeling as the web seems to be becoming less friendly to a corporate landscape and more for a socialized one. For example, the google information that came out confirms that who your author is matters, and that google can actually link it to social profiles and other content. Google My Business now offers the option to add social profiles.
I think it's ironic that Google is making the web more 'social' by removing the human touch and moving to a distilled AI-based model.
“Search Engine Optimization” now feels a bit more like “Personal Press Releases”. This is a new world for many, but I think there is some indication that at least right now, the web is moving away from websites and more to a person-driven approach. That is, so long as the ads from that content make revenue for google—and considering how much influencers are paid, we can assume that’s not going anywhere any time soon.
Google no longer seems to care what SEO you’re doing, they only care if users are engaging in content, satisfied, and kept in the ecosystem. Their AI scraping our content and stealing it isn’t helping matters either… where this goes is anybody’s guess, but for now, take my thoughts with a grain of salt—and then add lime and a margarita. All I’ll say is that I’m not jealous of those still in the industry.

• Nick Aldis returns to his office where AJ Styles is waiting. He thought about what Nick said last week, and if he has time he'd like him to address his future tonight. Aldis asks if there's something AJ wants to tell him? AJ says it's hard enough to do it once, can he just do it in the ring tonight? Nick agrees and shakes his hand.
  
• Bayley's being attended to by medical. Naomi says no way are they going to get away with this. She asks Bayley if she's good to fight tonight, and she says yeah. Naomi then goes off to find Nick Aldis.
  
• Blair Davenport is chatting with Nick Aldis when Naomi interrupts, asking for a tag team match with Bayley against Chelsea Green & Piper Niven. Blair says she's not happy to be interrupted. Naomi says usually she'd introduce herself, but Blair interrupts and introduces herself and says she'll know who she is. She leaves, and Nick makes the tag match. As Naomi leaves, LA Knight strolls in and says he has been looking around, asking Nick if he knows where Logan Paul might be. They sit down to chat.
  
• Kayla Braxton asks LA Knight what he was talking about with Nick Aldis. He says there's not much to say, the only answer he had for him is that Logan Paul isn't here this week. He calls out Logan saying he wants the United States Championship. He's interrupted by Carmelo Hayes, who says Knight does a lot of talking but never says anything. Why would Logan want to face him when he could face a top draft pick?
  
• During Andrade & Apollo's match, Angel joined him ringside to interfere on Andrade's behalf. Post-match, the rest of Legado del Fantasma comes out, cheering him on. Andrade walks past them.
  
• The Bloodline is backstage with Solo Sikoa telling Tama and Tonga to do everything in their power to "take him out." Paul Heyman walks up and tells Solo he's been doing a lot of thinking about how he can better serve him while he's in charge. With Roman as the Tribal Chief, there was a lot of violence, but that was solely to preserve the family. And before he took any action, there was a lot of counsel with the Wise Man. Paul continues, Solo just keeps recruiting violent men and acts of violence, but he's seen no strategy at all. The strategy has to be that when Roman returns, they have Cody Rhodes in check. Solo says, we have Cody Rhodes in check and he doesn't even know it. Paul asks, who is we? Kevin Owens' music hits, and Solo tells Paul to go fix this, now.
  
• Angel runs up to Andrade backstage asking him why he embarassed him in front of his bros? He no sooner gets the words out of his mouth when he's ambushed by Apollo Crews, who then has to be pulled off by security.
  
• Kevin Owens speaks to the crowd from the ring. He went all the way to Saudi Arabia to make sure he had Randy Orton's back with the Bloodline targeting him. And while he didn't win, we know why. Paul Heyman comes out to talk to him man-to-man and says there's a mutual interest they have that he hopes he can serve. Kevin tells him to get in the ring and say it already. Paul tells Kevin that Roman Reigns respected and acknowledged him as a true threat. But Solo has no respect for him and he's recruiting criminals. Paul and Roman rejected all new members, they did background checks! But these guys are just bloodthirsty, sadistic thugs. They're looking for any excuse to take him out, and that's bad for WWE. And if he keeps on calling out Solo's name, they're going to do something really bad about it. He pleads with Kevin to back off the Bloodline...
  
• Kevin asks, why would I trust anything that comes out of your mouth? He's not falling for this act, he's obviously pulling the strings. Is he trying to instill fear? Kevin's fought the Bloodline for over 4 years and he's still standing. He'll do whatever he can to keep them out of his world. Paul says maybe he's not trying to help him, maybe he's trying to save him. Paul Heyman says everyone else can redeem themselves but not him? He goes on a screaming tirade flailing in anger and accidentally slams his mic into Kevin's chest. Paul freezes and Kevin stares at him, when the Bloodline's music hits and they head down to the ring. Kevin has backup in the Street Profits, and they brawl, leading to the scheduled tag team match.
  
• Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair are walking and chatting backstage. Indi Hartwell shows up and says oh, they're going to Raw to beat more people like they beat Candice Larae? She's at home injured. Bianca says she only gave back what Candice was dishing out.
  
• Kayla Braxton is talking with Michin, says the rumor is AJ Styles might be retiring tonight. Does she have the inside scoop? Michin says AJ's not really been talking to the OC and… she's interrupted by Nia Jax who wonders why anyone is talking about AJ Styles when they could be talking about her. Michin tells Nia she's sick of being interrupted and Nia pushes back, so Michin steps to her. Nia says, you're going to regret that.
  
• Announced for next week: Jade Cargill vs. Indi Hartwell; Johnny Gargano vs. Grayson Waller; Apollo Crews vs. Angel; and Solo Sikoa anoints Tonga Loa
  
• LA Knight approaches AJ Styles as he's walking backstage and says if the rumors are true? Respect. Cody Rhodes stops by and gives him a bro-hug with AJ whispering something to him. AJ then passes Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, they slap hands and acknowledge what's ahead.
  
• AJ Styles at last makes his way to the ring, with Luke & Karl in tow. He's been thinking about what Nick Aldis said, he'd have to go to the back of the line for another shot at Cody Rhodes for the championship. And as he thought about it, he says he just can do that at this point in time of his life and his career. He's been doing this for over 2 decades, busting his body, blood sweat & tears all over the world so he could become phenomenal. This past week, his son graduated high school and he got to be there. That's when clarity hit him, how many of these has he missed? So instead of being the Phenomenal AJ Styles, maybe he stay at home and be a phenomenal father. He tells Gallows & Anderson that he couldn't do this without them & he loves them, they're his brothers and if they're doing this one last time let's do it right. They throw up a mega too-sweet, then hug. AJ says before he goes, he whispered something in Cody's ear and asks if he doesn't mind coming out.
  
• As Cody Rhodes joins him, AJ tells Cody he wanted to tell him face to face that he had one of his greatest matches he's ever had with him in Lyon, France. If he had one last match, that would be it. But he tells Cody, this is still the house that AJ Styles built, and he called him out here to hand him the keys. Cody says, they've only ever exchanged one text message ever and that was Cody asking after the match if AJ was okay; he responded, I'm okay little bro. Cody acknowledges him as a big bro for the locker room and thanks him, raising his arm around the ring to the crowd... until AJ yanks Cody's arm and slams him to the ground. He takes off his jacket and starts the beatdown, tossing Cody out of the ring and slamming him into the steel stairs. Anderson & Gallows are holding back security while AJ gives Cody a Styles Clash jumping off of the stairs to the ground.

protesters led by Bagrat Galstanyan clashed with police while attempting to enter the Foreign Ministry building

The pro-Russian former regime continues to demand PM Pashinyan's resignation. Yesterday protest co-organizer Bagrat Galstanyan said he was preparing a "surprise" for the government.
On Friday, Galstanyan and a group of supporters clashed with the police after he gave FM Mirzoyan and other ministry officials "30 minutes to come down and talk" and said he would enter the building if they didn't come. Galstanyan said he wanted the crowd to enter the building, too, but the police was against it.
Galstanyan said that the police "would be responsible for any clash". He said he didn't care if the police brought 2,000 more officers because he was determined to enter the building. The crowd eventually clashed with the police. The officers pushed them back. Galstanyan threatened the police chief: "You will answer with your head." Galstanyan wasn't happy that the foreign ministry leadership refused to meet him. The police warned him not to incite the crowd. He blamed the police for the incident.
Galstanyan was rousing the crowd before the clash. He accused the police of hooliganism and using insults, and urged his supporters to treat the police "like they treat you". He held the loudspeaker at the police and gestured for his followers to shout at them. The situation began to intensify. Some officers began slamming their batons against their shields but the commander signaled them to stop, and they did.
Galstanyan instructed his followers not to back down: "Do not take a step back... Our patience has limits." Galstanyan kept accusing the police of inciting things while the police stood there without taking action. The police spokesman also brought a loudspeaker and accused Galstanyan of being an agitator and inciting the crowd.
7 police officers and several protesters were hospitalized after the clash. 28 protesters were arrested and are facing charges.
During the evening speech, Galstanyan said he doesn't regret today's events and urged his followers to take action and get arrested if necessary:
GALSTANYAN: If you do not get arrested today by this government, tomorrow you will have to answer for that. //
Hanun Republic party chief Arman Babajanyan, a former churchman, said that Church leader Garegin B will be responsible for future clashes incited by his "imprudent son" Bagrat.
BABAJANYAN: I hope FM Mirzoyan and others won't meet this clown and won't interact with him. This movement has become an entertainment for media outlets in Turkey and Azerbaijan. //
REPORTER: The number of protesters is small. Is the protest fading?
ARF MP GARNIK (co-organizer): It's not the protest that's fading, it's those people [Nikol]. We have many supporters in the state apparatus who will join us. //
Bagrat Galstanyan was nominated by the former regime as their candidate to replace PM Pashinyan. In response to observations that Galstanyan cannot be a PM because he must wait at least 4 years after ending his dual citizenship, Galstanyan's supporters say there are ways to bypass the restriction. For example, Serj-era Justice Minister Gevorg Danielyan claims there are no constitutional obstructions, while Galstanyan's supporter lawyer Arsen Babayan [Serj-era parliament official] suggests ignoring the Constitution altogether.
ARSEN BABAYAN: When the issue is to save the country, the Constitution and the law must be pushed to the background. This is very important. We cannot lose the country because of the law and the Constitution. Let's not forget that it's the people who decide how the Constitution should be. I want Galstanyan to be appointed as the PM and then amend the Constitution, not the other way around. //
RULING MP: The daily nonsense continues. In other words, Arsen Babayan admits that there is a legal obstruction but he wants that obstruction to be ignored and changed later.
REPORTER: ARF MP Garnik Danielyan says they have supporters in state agencies who are ready to join them when the time is right.
RULING MP: It doesn't matter what Danielyan says; he is just selling hope to his supporters.
REPORTER: Your administration failed to "clean up" the state agencies and carry out "lustration".
RULING MP: We promised after the 2018 revolution not to carry out a vendetta and to allow experts to stay in their positions. This is why so many employees with ties to former administrations continued to work and receive higher positions. It's another thing that they didn't understand and appreciate the opportunity to serve the state and not the government. Today the opposition is doing the [self-]lustration much better than we could have ever done.
Today the protest organizers are trying to bait the authorities to take certain actions against protesters so the organizers can present it as a valid reason to end the protests because they understand they have reached a dead end. The only thing they have accomplished is annoying the residents and obstructing their roads. //
The opposition doesn't have enough votes to initiate an impeachment process against Pashinyan, let alone succeed by securing a majority of votes. They are short of 1 vote to initiate the process. They are hoping to convince their former partyman Ishkhan Zakharyan to join the process but Zakharyan left their ranks a while ago to continue his service as an independent MP and doesn't seem to be eager to join the impeachment. On Friday Zakharyan was seen with Pashinyan's Chief of Staff Arayik Harutyunyan during the session of the Executive Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games. Zakharyan recently told protest leader Bagrat Galstanyan that he "doesn't reject" the impeachment process but there are no reports of him joining it either.
In other news. Bagrat Galstanyan's supporter Don Pipo, a criminal subculture figure wanted by Armenian authorities since 2022 for allegedly organizing a murder, is organizing groups of Russian-Armenians to travel to Armenia to join Galstanyan's protests.
In other news. The police announced the arrest of a protester who had a dispute and allegedly stabbed a fellow protester in the cheek and neck in the backyard of St. Anna church where Galstanyan regularly holds evening gatherings to announce the plan for the following day.

the Church owns hundreds of apartments that are not being taxed: ruling party MP

MP VARDANYAN: There needs to be a study to understand the volume so we can decide how to tax just as we tax other things under Armenia's law. //
The MP pulled out a phone with an Excel sheet reportedly displaying the list of properties owned by the Church and scrolled it for several pages to show it to the reporters.
MP VARDANYAN: There needs to be a study to understand how these properties are being used. The ones used for commercial purposes and manufacturing must pay taxes like everyone else does. This study is my personal initiative with a group of colleagues; it's not an official process yet.
REPORTER: When was this idea born?
MP VARDANYAN: We were discussing it some time ago and the conversation was revived after the recent public discourse about the Church and taxes. In the past, we discussed the import of raw paraffin under "charity" which was later re-categorized and today it's imported from EAEU. Perhaps all these discussions weren't interesting in the past while we were having it. Every citizen must pay taxes and no one should be above the law.

REPORTER: Various representatives of the ruling party have lately mentioned the need to tax the Church. Is there a process to tax it?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: No. I'm not aware of any process.
REPORTER: A ruling party MP said today that they are studying the issue. Do you know anything about it?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: I'm not aware of the details. We will provide taxation statistics if they request it. No requests have been made so far.
REPORTER: Is the Church paying taxes today?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: They have some employees engaged in commercial activities so they pay income tax from their paychecks. The law grants tax exemptions to the Church for the sale of certain ceremonial products, property tax, and various other exemptions.
REPORTER: Why were they granted those exemptions?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: For various reasons. If there are activities relating to religion it can have exemptions but it's necessary to understand what's religious and non-religious.
REPORTER: Why was the taxation brought up now?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: We've been discussing changes to the tax law with the Church for several years. We discussed the law on charity. We suggested that they make payments for imports of paraffin and tserezin. We offered to cover the full cost of import duties on those items but for some reason the Church refused. [Pashinyan said earlier that they offered the Church to improve its financial transparency by having them pay taxes and receive all of the paid taxes back.]
REPORTER: Why did the Church turn down the suggestion?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: I don't know the reason.
REPORTER: The MP said they are studying thousands of properties owned by the Church and that they might prepare a resolution.
CUSTOMS CHIEF: As I said, we are ready to cooperate by providing statistics if necessary.
REPORTER: What is your personal opinion on taxing the Church?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: Things with religious purposes should not be taxed but when you sell something and collect a profit, that's something we can discuss.
REPORTER: Can you bring an example?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: No problem when the Church receives a donation, but if the Church sells an item for profit, including candles, it should be taxed.
REPORTER: Have you already studied the volume of such sales?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: No.
REPORTER: Protest leader Galstanyan said businessman Hayk Shahnazaryan's business was investigated because of supporting him. Is this policy applied in the case of other businesses as well?
CUSTOMS CHIEF: You just presented misinformation as a fact. The individual you mentioned has been at the center of customs checks since 2023 and the same violation happened again so that was the reason for the latest action as well. There is always an attempt to manipulate the enforcement actions by distorting the timing of events. Today one of the MPs said that a supermarket belongs to a ranking police official and asked "why do you not investigate them?". I published the list of investigations against that supermarket, showing ֏10 million in fines imposed on them. These manipulations are common. Everything is a conspiracy, starting from the weather.

IRS chief about the 2023 budget:

• State budget revenues rose by ֏296B ($764M) or 15.4%.
• In 2023 we studied 2022's VAT/profit/income tax gap and it was 3.06% of GDP, down by 0.5% YoY.
• Tax-to-GDP ratio was 23.9%, and if we include the mortgage loan return program, that's +0.84% YoY.

• A survey shows the satisfaction rate for each agency: tax agency 87%, customs agency 78%.
• Several new digital platforms for residents and non-residents.
• We have successfully passed an audit for informational security and received an international ISO certification.
• We continue to improve the 49 analytical methods and the 66 risk criterions. These allow us to identify red flags.
• 31,000 inspections were carried out with the use of red flag systems, for a sum of ֏52B ($134M). That's +43% YoY.

court acquits ex-President Serj Sargsyan on $1 million agricultural fuel embezzlement charges

Serj Sargsyan and co-defendants, including the owner of Flash fuel company, were accused of conspiring to embezzle fuel meant for farmers. The case was brought almost 5 years ago. Some of the key witnesses died of natural causes and COVID during the process, which lasted for so long that all the defendants qualified for release under the statute of limitations even if they were found guilty. The court returned a not-guilty verdict on Friday. Prosecutors will appeal it, which means the case will be heard by the recently-formed Anti-Corruption Court of Appeal.

RULING MP ARSHAKYAN: Often while traveling in border regions or even Yerevan, the car's antenna picks up radio signals from neighboring countries. This is difficult to prevent since we don't have a giant concrete-metal wall on our borders. Since we didn't have professional devices with international standards to measure the signal strength, we couldn't contact the international union to ask them to require our neighbors to reduce the power of their towers located near Armenia. This is why the Rohde & Schwarz measuring radio-monitoring devices were acquired and I'm glad they are in Armenia now. Have you measured the signals and contacted the international body?
HIGH-TECH MINISTER Hayrapetyan: The issue requires multiple steps and owning the $1.3 million equipment alone won't solve the issue. The government decided to first understand where these signals are coming from and the clarity in Armenian frequencies. We are hiring more staff in Goris station. I've really been in the mood lately to have a low key but cosy hotel builder type game on my phone. The way mobile games are now it's hard to even try and search for something when you have to dig through miles of just crappy thrown together glorified advertisement viewers.
I think there used to be apps on Facebook back in the gold era where you could design and personalise rooms for guests etc. Does anyone have ideas for something along those lines? And not just another idle clicker game?

All the relevant details are listed below, but my main questions are:
1) what moves should I make before losing "tenants rights" tomorrow?
2) if the landlord agrees to immediately end a lease due to a bug infesteststion - but forces us to wait to have our deposit/ prorated rent returned - what happens if we don't immediately return the key until they pay us back after the 1st of the month?
3) Do I need to send a demand letter to them to formally ask for the rent and deposit back? (Already made a verbal agreement).
4) Will recordings I took of the conversation be useable at all?

Slumlord situation summary.
Landlord never disclosed an active roach infestation in the room before renting it to us.
Multiple generations of roaches seen in the rental unit within 10 minutes of inspecting room
During the first roach report, landlord seemed shocked and blamed the surrounding businesses for the roaches…. Offered to treat the room with bug powder.
During second roach report, landlord offered to treat the room with bug powder (again).
During second roach report, the landlord was told that the room was uninhabitable due to the severe roach infestation.
Landlord said that her daughter had a major roach infestation in the rental unit only two months ago…Said that she killed some roaches outside the home only a couple days earlier. Landlord agreed to our request of being released from our lease immediately + returning any money that we put towards the room ($400 deposit and $550 days in prorated rent)
Landlord said that they will return our money that following Saturday (May 25th)…they would return it that same night if they could, but they spent the money and need to wait for the husband to get paid to return it.
Landlord got agitated during the conversation while cooking and started raising her voice and eventually making speaking gestures with a large cooking knife in our direction…after the payment date was set, this suddenly ended the conversation with the landlord.
In a seperate conversation with the other landlord (husband), he would only agree to give us back $850 initially since two days passed since we signed the lease.
The landlord (husband) ultimately agrees to repay our $900 that Saturday at 8 or 9pm as his wife suggested and we all understood that that was the pay date.
By the time Saturday rolls around, the landlord (wife) blocks Us on Facebook - the main form of communication to the landlord previously.
The only way we figure out to contact landlord now is by finding and using her cell phone info from the first zelle transaction.
The landlord doesn't message us first to further arrange the payment that day (May 25th).
After we message the landlord, she tells us that she can't pay us back because “they haven't rented out the room yet”...even though the first reason for the delayed payment was due to her husband's paycheck instead.
Tells us that they have potential renters lined up for the room the following day (Sunday) and they can pay us back then hopefully.
The landlords never message us on Sunday regarding the status of the new tenants and our repayment.
The landlords message us days later to report accepting a new tenant to our room…they accepted a $250 deposit (instead of $400) and that the new tenants will move in on the 6th of June.
They offer $250 and offer to pay the remaining $650 on the 6th of june (instead of May 25th as originally discussed)
Note:
We never slept a single night in the home.
We never moved a single item into the home.
We never accepted to wait to receive our money back, but we had no other choice but to wait for the landlords to receive their paycheck.
Our room was entered and our bathroom was being used by the landlords family days after we already signed our lease.
Landlord said that it's not their problem that we might be homeless while waiting for her to return our rent money…showed no empathy whatsoever.

I've just received a couple notifications from keybase that my reddit proof is broken. I haven't changed or deleted anything, and my proof is still right where I left it. I double-checked the `ctime` and `expire_in` fields of the signed object, and it should be good until July 13, 2032. Is keybase just having reddit API issues? Or do I need to do something to reconfirm?
