I was introduced to the Axcel Accutouch Carbon Pro Sight AV-41 during one of my archery excursions. Being a novice, I was initially skeptical about the single pin adjustable sight, but its Accu-Click system quickly changed my mind. The sight allowed me to set "clicks" at specified distances, making it incredibly accurate even for a beginner like me. Another noteworthy feature was the 45 degree facing sight tape, which made it much easier for me to view and set yardage indicators.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd axis adjustments on this carbon pro sight were a game-changer. No more shims needed, and adjustments can be made with ease. The micro adjust windage feature is also worth mentioning. It stays locked in place until the Windage Lock Button is disengaged, ensuring precise accuracy.
However, what truly sets this sight apart is the Axcel AV-41 scope. The. 010" or. 019" green fiber enhances visibility, making it easier to aim and shoot accurately every time. Overall, the Axcel Accutouch Carbon Pro Sight AV-41 has been a valuable addition to my archery kit, helping me improve my accuracy and enjoy my time in the field.

🔗High-Performance Green Dot Picture Sight with Picatinny Mount

In my quest for an effortless and accurate shot, I recently tried out the Axcel LANDSLYDE Plus Picatinny Sight AV-41. As a hunter, I needed something that would give me the right sight for the perfect shot. I must say, the LANDSLYDE Plus is one of the most user-friendly sights I've come across.
The sight has this whisper-quiet gear system that effortlessly slides up and down, allowing for precise yardage settings. One of the features I really appreciated was the adjustable dead stop, which lets you quickly access 20 yards or any other yardage setting. With this feature, I was able to make adjustments on the fly, without having to take unnecessary time.
Another standout feature is the sight's two individually adjustable pointers. This made aiming a lot easier and more precise. The LANDSLYDE Plus also comes with an AV-41 scope, which works well in hunting blinds. I particularly enjoyed the torque indicator on the front of the scope, as it helped me identify if my bow was canted to one side or the other.
The LANDSLYDE Plus Picatinny Sight AV-41 has this built-in feature that dims the fiber optic pins, making it less prone to starbursting in direct sunlight. This was a feature I didn't know I needed, but it sure came in handy in bright sunlight.
The product, despite being made of metal, felt durable and sturdy in my hands. Its Picatinny in-line sight mount was another thing that impressed me, making installation on my bow a breeze. I could easily adjust the sight in or out to one of three positions to match the peep sight to the scope housing or up or down to one of three positions on the bow riser for enhanced elevation adjustments.
With the LANDSLYDE Plus Picatinny Sight AV-41, every hunting session felt like a breeze. It provided the precision I needed and the ease of use that made me comfortable in using it. Overall, I was pleased with how effective this sight was in helping me make the perfect shot. It's a tool I'd definitely recommend to other hunters looking for a reliable and accurate green dot sight.

🔗Uberti 1873 Tang Sight Rear Sight for 1911 Style Firearm

https://preview.redd.it/j1wtgzwoux3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fe8bf9efc6d3b5eb6d1ef236fd069d003f37ae8
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Uberti 1873 Tang Sight Rear Sight in black color. This sight is a real statement piece that adds a touch of class and sophistication to any gun. The tang sight design is both classic and functional, allowing for quick and precise targeting.
What stood out to me was the build quality of the Uberti, which is sturdy and solid. The black finish not only complements the design but also helps to reduce glare, making it a reliable choice for hunting or shooting under various lighting conditions.
However, I did find that at a distance, the sight struggled to stay focused at times. This could be an issue with my own eyesight, but it was noticeable enough to warrant mention.
Overall, the Uberti 1873 Tang Sight Rear Sight in black is a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish rear sight. Just keep in mind the potential focus issues at long distances, and you'll be good to go.

🔗Snag-Free White Gold Bead Front Sight for Colt Python and Anaconda

https://preview.redd.it/w2w0loapux3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1357a4382f345d53ab39cf7fdaf70c7dee9202fe
When I first laid my eyes on the Snag Free Front Sight White Gold Bead Colt Python/Anaconda, I was immediately drawn to its gleaming white gold finish. This unique bead not only adds an elegant touch to the overall design but also ensures a snag-free shooting experience. The bead sits snugly within the outline of the sight, providing a clean and streamlined appearance.
During my time with this sight, I quickly came to appreciate its durability and the ease with which it blends in with the surroundings, promoting a more accurate focus and shot placement. However, I also noticed that its height, at. 310, may not be suitable for all users, especially those with specific preferences for sight height.
Despite this minor drawback, I found the Snag Free Front Sight White Gold Bead Colt Python/Anaconda to be a valuable addition to any Colt Python or Anaconda user's toolkit, providing both style and functionality without compromising on quality or performance.

2024.06.01 12:06 hayleyalcyone Do you prefer energy drinks with Taurine, Tyrosine or Choline?

Bit of a technical question, but anyone who's been drinking energy drinks for a good while has to have gotten curious about the back of the can and checked what makes them tick, aside from a respectful amount of caffeine.
If not, here are a few prominent drinks for each nootropic:
Taurine - Monster - Red Bull - Burn - NOS (NO5) - RYSE
Tyrosine - Gorilla Mind - NOOX
Beta-Alanine - C4 - Spike
Choline - RYSE - AMP
I've given more examples for Taurine because that's what works best for my ADHD scrambled brain. What about y'all?

2024.06.01 12:02 Gloomy-Beginning-218 Wizard tries to murder another party member in their sleep, fails, apologizes, then creates a new character and then attempts the same thing again.

Context: This was one of my first online games as a DM. I ran a campaign with the typical "necromancy magic is seen as bad" trope due to massive events in the campaign world (that led to the first Lich being created and using the war between 3 nations to fuel his undead army, until all 3 nations realized the threat and banded together to defeat the army of the dead and supposedly destroyed the Lich). With that knowledge in mind, one player asked to create a school of necromancy wizard (tiefling). I said sure, but let them know that if they were to use necromancy within a village, town or captial city that it would draw attention to them and most likely result in their character being arrested, or even attacked. The player said they were fine with that, but asked if they could be Lawful Evil. Now, this should have been the first red flag for this player, but I said that I would allow it but only if their actions didn't directly target or effect the other player characters. They agreed.
Now to give some more context, the other players character's consisted of:
I mentioned to the Wizard player that the paladins might not be pleased with their character if they witness them using necromancy, again, to which the wizard player said that would be fine. The second red flag was the wizard's backstory. One of the major NPC's in this campaign was a High Elf Prince, who was a powerful Archmage and a hero to the elves (inspired by Teclis from Warhammer), and the player wanted to include this NPC in their backstory, but frame the elf prince as a villian, having him mysteriously kill off the tiefling's adopted father. Now, I should have suggested perhaps another NPC of less significance to the world to take his place, but I thought, "what the hell??", I could throw an interesting twist on it and have the wizard's foster father actually be a bad guy. So, I let it be.
Onto the story: The party were in the Elven captial city when the wizard asks me as one of their "errands" that they want to visit the slums of the city. So they travel there and the wizard sees a bunch of dirty kids playing together. The wizard then walks over to a halfling girl, and begins to mesmerize her with prestidigitation effects. He asked about her quality of life (I thought he was going to give her some money or something like that), so she shares with him that she is an orphan and lives on the street. The wizard offers her food and says that if she comes with him, he will give her a better life and teach her how to use magic. Now at the time, I wasn't sure what his intentions were, so I was being very cautious in this moment, so I asked him to roll an insight check as she was looking at him with doubt in her mind. He succeeds and I share that she has doubts about his sincerity. I ask him to roll a persuasion check with a 20 DC and he makes it with a high roll. So, she agrees to go with him on the promise that he teaches her magic. When the wizard returned to the party, they were surprised and not very keen on having a young girl accompany them for their next adventure, but they allowed it after they made the wizard promise to keep her well out of harms way when danger arises.
The party arrive at the entrance to a long, and fairly dangerous dungeon crawl. In the first battle encounter, the wizard tells his "apprentice" to attack the nearest enemy instead of running away, like the party had agreed on. Now the "apprentice" isn't able to do much (as a lvl 1 wizard), and is subsequently attacked and falls unconcious and the party began to panic. The party were able to swiftly defeat the remaining enemies and heal the halfling girl. Now, when she came to, she was terrified and had a full on panic attack and wanted to leave after almost dying. The party agreed that she should not be with the party and should return to her home. This angered the wizard (and the player), who was not pleased when the party all voted to send her home. They were able to do so as another NPC was accompanying the party, and they escorted the girl back.
Now comes the kicker. The wizard player dm's me and says that he is not happy with what happened. I tell him that I had already spoken to him about the other player characters possibly not agreeing with his decision, and that the wizard was "okay with that". The wizard player doesn't reply. So I thought that the matter has been resolved. NOPE!!! Out of nowhere, the wizard states that during the night whilst on his "watch", he casts mold earth multiple times during the night and burries the oath of ancients paladin alive (as he was the voice of reason that was consistantly raising the fact that the halfling girl would not be safe). Now by this point in the session, the majority of the players as well as myself were quite frustrated with this player, as he had tried to meta before and say things like, "it would work in real life" when he attempted to turn events in his favor over and over again.
I told the group that we're going to take a 10 minute break before anything else happened. I spoke with the oath of ancients paladin player and asked him what his opinion is on the matter was and if what he thought I should do/should I even allow the wizard to attempt it? The oath of ancients player says that he was happy for me to let the wizard try as if they failed and the paladin would quickly "solve" the issue.
So I messaged the wizard player and confirmed that they're certain that they want to still try it. They agreed confidently and stated that mold earth was "a somatic only cantrip" and that the paladin "won't even know that I'm casting it until their suffocating under the ground".
I messaged the group and asked them to come back to the discord chat and we jumped back in. I asked the paladin to roll a perception check, setting the DC at 10, as I reasoned that the paladin would still feel the earth being molded over and around them. The paladin rolls a natural 20. So the paladin awakens, and sees that the wizard is trying to smother them. The paladin player attempts to intimidate with the wizard and convince them not to "test his patience", but the wizard player was furious and was trying to make up more excuses on how the perception roll should have been at disadvantage.
I stated that my ruling stood, and asked them what they want to do, to which the wizard left and never returned.
I had a long conversation with the wizard player after the session and explained that I did warn them in advance that the other player characters might not agree with their actions. The player seemed strangely calm and collected and asked if they could create another character to replace the tiefling wizard (this should have been the 3rd red flag). I agreed but specified this time that necromancer and evil alignment was off the table this time. The player agreed and then createed a high elf blade-singer wizard (and min maxed it as much as they could). They gave this new character a compelling backstory and I was pleased with it. So the next session, I introduced their character to the party (the party had left the dungeon to find safety and heal the halfling girl before sending her home), and the first thing the player does was declared that they moved to attack the oath of ancients paladin, as soon as they saw him.
Dumbfounded, I ask him why? He respond with, "the paladin threatened (name of the tiefling character) and I take threats deadly seriously".
IMPORTANT NOTE: This was not in the backstory that they provided me with! And I mean, not even the slightest hint, nor was it eluded to!
I pause the game and ask the wizard player to join me in a seperate chat, and asked them how could their new character possibly know who the paladin was and how they would know the tiefling, as the two characters had never met. He said that they would have passed each other and he would have shared it with this stranger. To which I said, yeah no that's not what you sent me and you're not just gonna change your backstory on the fly just so you can attempt to kill the paladin. He got incredibly angry and started yelling about me not letting him play his character how he wants to play them.
The conclusion: So to wrap up this long post. The player apologised to the group, asked for one more chance as he like the group. I asked the others individually what their thoughts on it were, they agreed to give him one more chance, so I did. And then 3 sessions later, that same player attempted to attack the ranger because he made a funny comment about the tielfing wizard (all in character). After that final straw, the player was subsquently removed from the campaign.
On a happier note: This campaign has been running for almost 5 years now and is beginning to come to a close as the players are level 19 (soon to be 20) and have accomplished incredible feats in the world.

Morning x
Sorry for the late message. Was abit rushed this morning. Not sure why I got up so early, most likely because body clock is used to getting up at 4. But was in and out of sleep until about half 8. Then got breakfast ready, woke him up and got him ready to go barbers. Cried a little for a few minutes but he settled fairly quick. Then went to grab a coffee, got him a baby chino, took him for a walk around the shopping centre, parked up at home then took him for a walk around the block. He WILL nap today!
Grab yourself a coffee or a red bull and hopefully it’ll get you through the day. Sky looks grey but hopefully it holds out. Hope you have a non stressful day. I miss you too x

2024.06.01 11:46 TheWindIsFickle742 [Update] Insane cousin and her crazy family throw life savings away on a scam university offer

Follow up from my original post https://www.reddit.com/AITAH/comments/1czojey/aita_for_humiliating_my_cousin_in_front_of_the/ . This is actually so insane I don't even know what to make of it. I feel like I'm living in a bad sitcom right now.
To summarize in my previous post I called out my entitled cousin for trying to give me career advise resulting in her having a meltdown and my parents fighting it out. Things have been kind off frosty since then but my mom seems to have gotten the message which is a relief. She and my dad are talking again which is a relief because the tension was killing me. All I wanted was one peaceful month at home before I started my new job but I might not get it with what transpired.
Last night, my mom gets a phone call from my aunt. She is hysterical, crying how they've lost everything. She spends close to thirty minutes hearing her out but eventually its too much for her and she just ends the call. She went into the living room and just sat there practically catatonic. After about ten minutes she began to tell us what was wrong and I can't wrap my head around it.
Jane decided that the best way for her to get back at me was to get a PhD for herself. No doubt she thinks she'll breeze by it and be handed to her on a silver platter. Her parents being the enablers they are, were instantly on board. The details are a little vague here but from what we could put together, somebody approached them promising they could get Jane into a PhD program at Harvard. No doubt there were red lags all over but they dived right into it and the man asked for a hefty sum which was most of their life savings. I can imagine Jane being all smug that she'd be the 'best PhD' in the family. Her competing with me is a mixture of annoying and sad because she has no concept of self-awareness.
I don't know who is worse here - Jane or her parents but very foolishly they accepted it before the obvious scammer blocked them everywhere and ran off with their money. It just baffles me how easily they fell for it, didn't they think even for a moment that it could be too good to be true? And these sort of scams are incredibly common in my home country so they have no excuse for not knowing better since it is common sense but I guess expecting even that much from that narcissist is too much.
I have no doubt they'll be begging the family for money now and I have a feeling my mom will bring up the issue. I'm anticipating more drama which I'll inevitably be dragged into. I'm just so exhausted with all this right now. I think I'm just going to ask my parents to visit me where I work from now on. The nostalgia visiting home is great but it really doesn't seem worth the effort dealing with everyone. If any family member I like is wanting to visit I will gladly fund their travel and stay, but I can't deal with all the nosiness and judgement anymore. It's getting on my last nerve. Anyways I'm going to go sleep this off because my head is throbbing thinking of their idiocy.

2024.06.01 11:29 shywrenn Thoughts on Uriah and the series finale?

Thoughts on Uriah and the series finale?
…okay, i don’t even know where to start.
uriah isn’t for the faint of heart. it dealt with incredibly heavy topics like trauma and abuse, but the author handled them SO well, it just made those small moments of reprieve so much more special.
you start with specific impressions of each character only to gradually dispose of those impressions the longer you read, and it’s not even necessarily because your first assumptions were wrong - it’s because you learned to empathize with them. you’ll love a character one day and hate them the next, and that’s what’s so amazing because everyone is multifaceted.
i feel like words can’t describe how amazing the storytelling is. on one occasion, we might read a section while already knowing the aftermath (e.g. uriah’s death), and on another, we’ll have no idea what will happen whatsoever. almost every sequence or flashback is told out of order, which is VERY difficult to write without muddling the chronology / main plotline, but i feel like uriah was able to achieve this in a way that made the narrative even more powerful. there’s just enough shock factor for it to be unsettling (e.g. tomas being a cop) - it’s never overdone.
the ending wasn’t a happy one, which is understandable considering the undertone of the story as a whole. but it was hopeful, and it was fitting. i’m so so glad that thumbless (not sure what to call him since his name isn’t lovell anymore) and camilla had closure, even if they haven’t been able to officially see each other again :( but that’s just the beauty of open endings, i think.
(spoilers for ep 135 finale) what hurts the most is definitely vincent’s death (even bo’s), and as much as i wish he didn’t off himself, the story made it clear that he was too far gone and had already “drowned” in the red sea. even bo said to him in ep 46, "you could have had a normal life if you were brought up by a normal family." he was such a huge victim of circumstance, it’s devastating. but he did what he set out to do. “unlike your father, that police jacket suits you” had me absolutely BAWLING you don’t even know 😭
bo is an interesting case because, as opposed to vincent, he was born with psychopathic tendencies afaik. thumbless was like an enigma. it was the first time bo found himself actually caring about another human being, which is why he’s been stuck at a crossroads this whole time. but at the end, he did the right thing - he let go. bo was an awful person, no doubt, but his fantasy of painting a personal drawing that wasn’t gory or creepy for once honestly hit hard.
i really loved thumbless’s monologue at the end, ESPECIALLY the line “i miss you, but not out of loneliness. i miss you… for you.” he’s been able to become his own person and, in turn, see others (like camilla) as their own people as well. even if he hasn’t fully healed yet, he’s growing. i don’t mind not knowing his legal name since i find it more impactful that way, though i do wonder if the “i didn’t know who i was or what to call myself. it was sunny tho :) :)” written on one of his notes at the end suggests that his name is sunny?? i might be looking into it too much…
imo, uriah is a masterpiece that deserves so much more attention and praise. i’ve been reading it for over 2 years now, so i’ll miss it a lot, but the way the finale wrapped up the story was everything i could have hoped for and more - i can’t recommend it enough. also, the two bullfinches in ep 1 physically hurt me 😭 the foreshadowing is crazy

🔗Comfortable 1911 Inside-the-Waistband Holster for Optimal Concealed Carry

https://preview.redd.it/4tbqcih6fx3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e92e3398a447bae2f3fb015a84974a33a1ecf133
Over the past few months, I've had the opportunity to try out C&G's Inside the Waistband Covert holster for my 1911. The first thing that struck me was how well-designed and comfortable it was. As someone who carries most of the day, the last thing I want is my holster to be uncomfortable or distracting.
One of the standout features was the solid locking retention. It gave me peace of mind, knowing my firearm was secure when I was on the move. The holster was also designed to fit most RMRed Dots on the market, which was a nice touch.
However, there were a couple of cons I noticed. First, the open bottom allowed for threaded barrels and compensators, but it could be a bit challenging to get a perfect fit for my specific firearm. Secondly, the 1.5-inch belt clip could be a bit snug for my thicker belt.
Overall, my experience with C&G's Covert holster has been mostly positive. The holster offers a comfortable and secure fit, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. While there were a few minor drawbacks, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

🔗Precision Competitive Holster for 1911 4.25'' - Kydex, Aluminum, Adjustable

https://preview.redd.it/uaviuox6fx3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c878830e3a9082f69923c9671e16b1278804c13d
As a shooting enthusiast, I recently came across the 1911 4.25'' No Rail Pro Ball Joint Competition Holster, and I must say, it has greatly enhanced my experience. Its adjustable ride height, which allows me to fine-tune my grip, is a game-changer.
The aluminum ball joint provides a smooth, sturdy connection that ensures a reliable hold, while the Kydex shell offers a perfect fit. Plus, the optic compatibility adds a touch of convenience. However, I also noticed that the holster can be quite heavy, which might affect my mobility during competitions.
Overall, this holster has proven to be a valuable investment for any serious shooter.

🔗Speed Master 2.0 Leather Chest Holster for 1911 Pistols

https://preview.redd.it/nqmfbx77fx3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68ad3f2a292e235226e808078c046ffa2c489c2d
I had the pleasure of trying out the Galco SM2212R Speed Master 2.0 1911 5in Tan, and I must say, it's a fantastic choice for gun enthusiasts. This versatile holster offers a sleek design and comes in both paddle and belt slot configurations, ensuring you can choose the carry method that suits your needs best.
One of the standout features of this holster is the high-quality premium steerhide construction. The build feels sturdy and reliable, giving me confidence in its performance. The adjustable tension unit is a convenient feature that allowed me to customize the holster's grip, ensuring my firearm stayed securely in place.
However, there were a couple of downsides I encountered during my experience. The slight butt-forward or neutral cant can vary depending on the firearm, which might not be ideal for everyone. Additionally, the holster might not fit as snugly as desired on larger pistol barrels.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the Galco SM2212R Speed Master 2.0 is an impressive and versatile holster that provides excellent concealment and security. If you're in the market for a high-quality and customizable 1911 holster, this might just be the right fit for you.

🔗Premium Western 1911 Inside-the-Waistband Holster

https://preview.redd.it/ujoeedn7fx3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2c4c2c8fe7a3488f5f3f9ac0cb56052dee61c007
I recently had the chance to try the Galco Royal Guard 1911 Inside-the-Waistband Holster Black - a sleek and versatile option for gun owners. This holster boasts an innovative design that keeps your weapon secure while still ensuring that you have easy access to it when you need it most. I particularly appreciated the rough side of the leather facing out, providing great stability and protection for your gun.
Wearing the Galco Royal Guard was a comfortable experience, allowing for real-world concealment even of larger defensive guns. The smooth leather pocket was reinforced for sturdiness, and it granted unrestricted movement and easy reholstering. In my opinion, the combat grip accessibility rounded out this holster's utility to make it an invaluable choice for those seeking speed and agility.
A few aspects of the Galco Royal Guard could use some improvement, but overall, I was impressed with the product. Its premium natural color horsehide constructed to fit 1-3/4" belts was a definite plus. And for those with 1-1/4" belts, there's an optional belt channel to consider. While there is still room for improvement, the Royal Guard holds promise as a reliable choice for any gun enthusiast.

🔗Durable Tactical 1911 Compensator for Enhanced Performance

https://preview.redd.it/ova9o718fx3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=73c0d85a134a46a04727634aa74ab5d1cd1e0d77
I recently added the BCMGUNFIGHTER Compensator Mod 7 - 5.56 to my trusty 1911 setup, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for my tactical operations. This ain't no lightweight accessory, it's a solid piece of machinery that reduces muzzle rise and flash to a minimum, making my targets all the more accurate.
It's also helped keep things nice and quiet during reconnaissance missions, and the lateral force it counteracts has been a lifesaver when I gotta take quick shots on the go. Sure, it might be a bit of a heavy-hitter compared to some other comps out there, but the benefits I've experienced have made it a more than worthy addition to my arsenal. So, if you're looking for a versatile compensator for your tactical ops, this bad boy deserves a serious look.

🔗Hybrid Titanium Compensator for 1911 Pistol

https://preview.redd.it/nypng2h8fx3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ee71771c7076c2edaad8cb56a1696adce59247b
The EGW Hybrid Titanium Compensator 575 x 40 is a sleek and sturdy addition to any 1911 firearm. I've been using it in my daily training sessions, and it's performed exceptionally well. The titanium construction not only adds durability but also keeps the weight down, making it a perfect choice for those who value portability.
One highlight of this compensator is its ability to reduce recoil significantly, which is especially useful for those newer to the sport or for those looking for a smoother shooting experience. This feature, combined with its robust design, has proven to improve the overall performance of my handgun.
However, there were a couple of drawbacks to this product. Firstly, the international shipping restrictions can be a hassle for those living outside the US. And secondly, the lack of an extensive review history makes it challenging to gauge the overall user satisfaction with this product.
Overall, the EGW Hybrid Titanium Compensator 575 x 40 is a high-quality accessory for 1911 firearms with a unique titanium construction that reduces recoil. While there are a few drawbacks to consider, the pros outweigh the cons, making it a worthy addition to many shooters' kits.

🔗Premium 1911 Inside Waistband Holster

https://preview.redd.it/n5p8nrx8fx3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=78a25c114d49ccc2bb9de309f79ea900dbe30bb0
I recently had the chance to try out the Vedder Holsters 1911 w/out rail 4.25" (Colt Commander frameNOT SIG) RapidTuck, an inside the waistband (IWB) hybrid holster that's handcrafted with premium leather and molded Kydex. The moment I started using it, I was struck by the attention to detail and the perfect fit for my 1911 w/without rail 4.25" Colt Commander frame.
One of the key features that stood out to me was the comfort of the holster. The leather is soft and well-finished, making it comfortable even for extended periods of wear. Whether you carry in the 3 o'clock position, appendix carry, or cross draw, the RapidTuck offers various carry options that are both comfortable and secure.
Another great aspect of the holster is the custom Kydex shell, which is molded to fit your firearm perfectly. This ensures proper clearance with all front sights and loaded chamber indicators, providing peace of mind even in the harshest conditions. The included Rock Solid Spring Steel Clip is a nice touch, offering two belt accommodations and a tuckable design for deep concealment.
While I enjoyed using this holster, there were a couple of minor drawbacks that I noticed. Firstly, the adjustable ride height feature is a bit more challenging to use than some other holsters on the market. Secondly, the limited color options might not appeal to everyone looking for a personalized touch. Despite these small drawbacks, the overall quality and performance of the 1911 w/out rail 4.25" (Colt Commander frameNOT SIG) RapidTuck make it a solid choice for anyone in the market for an IWB hybrid holster.

I recently gave the Galco SM2212RB Speed Master 2.0 a try for my 1911 pistol. It impressed me with its ability to quickly switch between a paddle and belt holster, which is perfect for my lifestyle. The open-top design allows me to draw my pistol faster, while the covered trigger ensures added safety.
The steerhide material feels premium and holds a good grip on the pistol. However, I noticed that the holster might be a bit snug for larger belts, but overall, the Speed Master 2.0 is a versatile and dependable choice for concealed carry.

In conclusion, the C&G's Universal single mag holder is a top-notch product that delivers on its promises. I recently had the chance to try out the BCM Gunfighter Comp Mod1 762 5/8x24 in a few shooting sessions, and let me tell you, it was quite an experience. One of the most impressive features of this compensator is its stainless steel construction. Don't get me wrong, I'm no gunsmith, but I could tell that the quality was top-notch. It just felt solid and well-built in my hands.
During my time with the Gunfighter, I noticed that it really reduced the muzzle rise and the noise associated with typical comps. It was like shooting a silenced revolver, which made it a joy to use, especially during team CQB drills. The inclusion of a crush washer was another plus, as it made the installation process a breeze.
However, there were a couple of things that I wasn't completely thrilled about. First, it was a bit heavier than some other compensators I've used, which made it a bit unwieldy in certain situations. But overall, the benefits outweighed the drawbacks, and I found myself reaching for it on my next few range trips.
So, in conclusion, if you're looking for a well-built, noisy, and muzzle rise-reducing compensator, the BCM Gunfighter Comp Mod1 762 5/8x24 is definitely worth checking out.

🔗Premium Independence Leather 1911 Holster with Reinforced Belt Loop

The Independence holster is a beautifully crafted leather masterpiece, with a proprietary design and attention to detail that sets it apart in the crowded gun holster market. The 8 oz premium leather feels soft and durable against your firearm, providing a sense of comfort and assurance as you carry your 1911 5" Government.
What I love most about this OWB holster is the reinforced belt loop design, which allows for effortless on and off placement. No more fumbling with clips or loops; this holster's custom tailoring ensures perfect fit, maximized retention, and minimal printing for a comfortable carry experience.
One area where it could use improvement is the compatibility with different firearm sights, particularly those with sharp edges that can catch on the leather when drawing. But overall, the Independence holster is a top-notch leather choice for your favorite 1911.

🔗Galco TacSlide Belt Holster for 1911 Compensator: Fast, Concealable, Economical

https://preview.redd.it/3ypf7bzafx3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c4aa566bbfd549fdcde750bdc021123b8d5068f
As a gun enthusiast, I recently had the chance to try out the Galco Tac Slide Belt Holster for my Colt Kimber Para 1911 5" Black RH TS212B. First and foremost, the design of this holster is quite impressive, with its combination of steerhide and Kydex materials, which provides both durability and comfort in one package. The adjustable belt slots make it easy to wear and also allow for excellent concealment, even with larger frames.
One of the standout features of this holster is the open top and neutral cant, which make the draw incredibly smooth and efficient, even when wearing heavier pants or jackets. This is a crucial aspect for those who need to access their weapon quickly and discreetly.
However, the Tac Slide does have its drawbacks. For one, the holster itself is quite bulky, which can be a disadvantage for those who prefer a more minimalistic design. Additionally, while the steerhide back plate is comfortable, it can be a bit fussy when trying to reholster the firearm, particularly if the holster is not set up properly.
Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, I found the Galco Tac Slide Belt Holster to be a reliable and functional option for concealing and carrying my Colt Kimber Para 1911. It's a versatile option that works well with both semi-autos and double-action revolvers, making it a solid choice for gun owners looking for a convenient and secure way to carry their weapon.

🔗CNC 7-Port 5-Chamber Comp Cone for 1911 Handguns

https://preview.redd.it/bbr4gacbfx3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=63128e3e6bfb7adf533604754e478307a8309447
I've had the chance to use the EGW 11830 CNC 7-Port 5-Chamber Comp Cone in my 1911 pistol, and I must say it's made quite a difference in its performance. It's built with heat-treated, stress-proof Carbon Steel, which adds to its durability and reliability. One of the most noticeable things about this cone is its unique 10-degree angle, designed to control muzzle flip and keep the gun steady even during intense shooting sessions.
However, one downside I noticed was that installing it required a bit of extra effort, as it required a reverse plug due to its lack of a bushing to hold the recoil spring. Nonetheless, once in place, it lined up perfectly with the barrel bore and provided a smooth, precise shooting experience.
