2024.06.01 13:02 arranft Workhorse May 2024 Summary

Workhorse May 2024 Summary
Here's a recap of what happened in May 2024.
Share price
Started the month at $0.16, peaked $0.25 ended $0.19 so we're showing an increase of 28% this month.
https://preview.redd.it/7emh1cphpx3d1.png?width=1525&format=png&auto=webp&s=92f17755290c774a3d37f01b06ec55b3a42e1a4f
I had to remove FFIE from this months chart as it's percentage increase was so high it made all the other lines flat. FFIE experienced an extreme pump and dump where someone could have made 7000% profit if they timed it perfectly.
Short interest
A little dip from last month:

HVIP Data
We had some decent HVIP data come in for April. It was 1 week later than usual. We've had our first voucher redeemed meaning CARB has paid the voucher amount to the dealer. 21 new vouchers came in. 1 W4 CC and 20 W56s all going to the same place. Details on who it might be are here.
Q1 Earnings Call
We had the Q1 earnings call, my favourite bit being the mention of that they'd just had a 4 hour long presentation with a large fleet because to me that means that fleet must be serious about making a big order.
Here's some other points that drjnaqvi felt important.
Weird pre-market pump and dump
For some reason 9 days ago, 4 million shares were traded pre-market some of which traded for 100% more in price than other shares that were traded in the same pre-market session. Within a period of 2 hours, the SP had gone up 100% only for it to go all the way back down in another few hours. It's almost as if some big news dropped, but didn't. Details here.
Catalyst checklist
WORKHORSE [WKHS] CATALYST CHECKLIST as of May 24th, 2024
Fuck Naked... Shorts
Thanks to drjnaqvi, divine forces are summoned through an African tribal dance ritual in order to bless Workhorse with prosperity.
DOGE_DILLIONAIRE returns
3 years ago, DOGE_DILLIONAIRE made WKHS videos, he returned this month with a new video: Workhorse Short Interest: Ridin’ the Bull Facin’ the Bear
RoaringKitty
RoaringKitty made a short return, causing meme stock chaos, however this mania didn't spread to WKHS. Even if there was a lot of horses in his videos.
"Delivery by June 7th."
RainbowRickshaw posted 2 weeks ago that they'd be taking delivery by June 7th. So hopefully any day now we will be seeing a photo showing off the truck.
Pritchard W4 CC Up-fitting
Usually it's only Kingsburg that we see doing upfitting, but Pritchard have come along with this:

And on Commerical EVs Pritchard has also added, but no pictures yet of:
  • Dry Freight w/ Dhollandia Liftgate
  • Dry Freight no Gate
  • Toughlite Box
  • Proscape
  • Ryan Body (quantity 2)
Nice to see another dealer making an effort like Kingsburg.

2024.06.01 12:53 darvas-trader Portfolio Update - End of May 2024

I have been finalizing my entry criteria in the past weeks. I have now more clear rules in order to justify an entry. Some of the existing entries did not match these updated rules so I decided to remove them for small profits or losses and keep some others that where still showing relative good strength. The result of those adjustments being a small loss, I decided to count them as 1 loss for the current trading window.
As for the technical, I simple screen for stocks making fresh new 52 week highs, Like Darvas did, and enter after the break of the first consolidation box after that high, clear and simple.
On paper trading I also saw that several times, stocks need more space to breath and that my initial 10% risk was sometimes a bit short, so I changed my risk tolerance to 15% but lowered my exposure on any stock to 1/20 of my capital, except some exceptions, which means that I only risk no more of 15%/20 which is 0,75% of my capital on any stock. That brings the total positions to 20 at the beginning my goal being to have 52 in the future.
Given the new increased risk above I had also to increase my profit target to 100% instead of 50% to keep a good Risk/Reward of 1/6 meaning that I only need 13% of winning trades to be break even and that anything above 30% brings already good profits, my goal being to reach 50%.
I have also decided to put an age limit of 52 weeks on all my trades meaning that after 52 weeks I will close the trade whatever the profit is, that's also why I have a goal of having 52 stocks in my portfolio, that would allow me to collect and compound profits every week.
That's all I have put in place and started doing, It seems to me like the perfect system, I just need now to prove to myself that I can do it and most important, manage it in any market circumstance.

In this chapter, we will delve into the various features that make shared hosting an attractive option for webmasters, entrepreneurs, and organizations alike.
1. Storage Space
One of the most critical aspects of shared hosting is the storage space allocated to each account. This refers to the amount of data that can be stored on the server, including files, images, videos, and other digital content. Typical storage space ranges from 1GB to 10GB, depending on the hosting provider and the type of plan chosen.
Benefits:
· Allows for efficient storage and management of digital assets
· Enables the creation of complex websites with multiple pages, images, and multimedia content
· Facilitates the storage of large files, such as videos and audio files
2. Bandwidth
Bandwidth refers to the amount of data that can be transferred between the server and the user's device. This is measured in gigabytes (GB) and is typically calculated based on the number of visitors, page views, and file downloads. A higher bandwidth allocation ensures that websites can handle increased traffic and data transfer without experiencing downtime or slow loading times.
Benefits:
· Ensures fast and seamless website loading times
· Supports high-traffic websites and e-commerce platforms
· Enables the hosting of multimedia content, such as videos and audio files
3. Email Accounts

Benefits:
· Enables the creation of professional email addresses
· Allows for efficient communication and collaboration
· Supports multiple email accounts for different departments or teams
4. Databases
Databases are a crucial aspect of shared hosting, as they enable the storage and management of large amounts of data. This feature is particularly useful for websites that require complex data management, such as e-commerce platforms and online applications.

Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting has become a popular choice for businesses and individuals alike due to its flexibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. In this chapter, we will delve into the various features that make VPS hosting an attractive option for those seeking a reliable and secure online presence.
1. Scalability
One of the primary advantages of VPS hosting is its scalability. With a VPS, you can easily scale up or down as your needs change, without having to worry about migrating to a new server or incurring additional costs. This feature is particularly useful for businesses that experience fluctuations in traffic or data storage needs.

As a VPS user, you have full root access to your server, allowing you to customize and configure your server to meet your specific needs. This feature provides unparalleled flexibility and control, making it an attractive option for developers, programmers, and system administrators.
3. Dedicated Resources
Unlike shared hosting, where resources are shared among multiple users, VPS hosting provides dedicated resources to each user. This means that your server has its own CPU, RAM, and storage, ensuring that your website or application runs smoothly and efficiently.
4. Security
Security is a top priority in VPS hosting. With a VPS, you have full control over your server's security settings, allowing you to implement robust security measures to protect your data and applications. VPS hosting provides flexibility in terms of operating systems, software applications, and server configurations. This means that you can choose the operating system and software that best suit your needs, rather than being limited to a specific set of options.
7. High-Speed Connectivity
VPS hosting providers typically offer high-speed connectivity options, including fiber-optic connections, ensuring fast and reliable data transfer rates.
8. 24/7 Support
Many VPS hosting providers offer 24/7 technical support, ensuring that you receive assistance whenever you need it. This includes phone, email, and live chat support options.
9. Control Panel
Most VPS hosting providers offer a control panel, such as cPanel or Plesk, which provides an intuitive interface for managing your server, including features like file management, email management, and database management.
10. Backup and Recovery
VPS hosting providers typically offer backup and recovery options, ensuring that your data is safe and can be easily restored in the event of a disaster.
11. Monitoring and Maintenance
Many VPS hosting providers offer monitoring and maintenance services, ensuring that your server is running smoothly and efficiently. This includes monitoring for security threats, performing regular software updates, and conducting routine maintenance tasks.
12. Uptime Guarantee
Many VPS hosting providers offer uptime guarantees, ensuring that your server is available and accessible at all times. This is typically measured in percentage terms, such as 99.9% uptime guarantee.
In conclusion, VPS hosting offers a wide range of features that make it an attractive option for businesses and individuals alike. From scalability and customization to security and support, VPS hosting provides a flexible and reliable solution for those seeking a robust online presence. By understanding the various features and benefits of VPS hosting, you can make an informed decision about whether this type of hosting is right for your needs.Features: Description of Dedicated Hosting Features

2024.06.01 12:06 BrodyBlue65 About the “Eiffelites” Facebook page

So as some of you may or may not know, I was the creator of the Eiffelites fan page on Facebook that started back in 2013. There hasn’t been an update for a while and I feel you all have the right to know why..
So, my original Facebook account, that I used to create the page, was hacked into a few years ago. My passwords were changed and Facebook support did nothing about it. By the time I was able to get through to someone it was too late.. the hackers deleted my account.
Therefore, I have no access to the Facebook page at all and cannot update it on my current account as Facebook doesn’t recognise me as the owner.
So the Facebook page is dead, basically…
However, all is not lost, as I am planning on bringing it back sometime soon. This time on another platform. I’m thinking maybe Discord as I’m extremely active there.
Anyways, I hope that answers your questions about the status of the Eiffelites Facebook page. I still have access to the YouTube channel though but am planning to start fresh.
If you’re interested, let me know.

2024.06.01 12:01 AskMeAboutSuperShoes "Zero REM Sleep" - Sleep Data is an Error multiplier

Woke up to a zero REM reading (two hypens, no numbers), despite recalling tons of dreaming. A search shows me this was a reported problem more than a year ago. Never had the problem before, and now it happens right after the update.
The only scientific way to accurately track brainwave phases during sleep is with an EEG in a real sleep study, but the problem is that "no/low REM" tends to tank Sleep Score, and the algorithm for Training Readiness is doubly dependent on these highly error prone sleep metrics of "sleep score" AND "sleep score history," which compromises athletic metrics like Training Readiness.
Athletic metrics is what Garmin has always done well, I think they've overreached [sic] by tying in unreadable, fake lifestyle metrics with athletic metrics, and they should rely on more reliable ambulatory metrics like resting HR and HRV Status, and then Recovery Time and Acute Load.
Morning Resting HR has served the athletic community well (Polar, Omegawave, etc) for decades, and ambulatory resting HR algorithms have the potential to be even more accurate than traditional Morning Resting HR measurements. I'd say invest more time in perfecting the resting HR calcs, and stop trying to imitate Fitbit.

2024.06.01 11:53 miroljub-petrovic Configure Intel AC 8260 wifi card as second interface on Proxmox

I want to set static 192.168.1.100 for ethernet card (which works) and 192.168.1.101 for wifi card which doesn't work. Wifi card hardware is functional, I am certain in that.
This is the wifi card:
root@pve:~# lspci grep -i network 02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 8260 (rev 3a)
The current configuration:
Screenshot: https://i.postimg.cc/43kzCwjh/image.png
Configuration in: /etc/network/interfaces
``` root@pve:~# cat /etc/network/interfaces
auto lo iface lo inet loopback
iface eno1 inet manual
auto vmbr0 iface vmbr0 inet static address 192.168.1.100/24 gateway 192.168.1.1 bridge-ports eno1 bridge-stp off bridge-fd 0
auto wlp2s0 iface wlp2s0 inet manual wpa-conf /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
auto vmbr1 iface vmbr1 inet static address 192.168.1.101/24 gateway 192.168.1.1 bridge-ports wlp2s0 bridge-stp off bridge-fd 0
root@pve:~# ```
Wifi config in /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
```
root@pve:~# cat /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf ctrl_interface=DIR=/varun/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev update_config=1 country=US
network={ ssid="my-ssid" psk="my-pass" } root@pve:~# ```
Wifi status:
root@pve:~# wpa_cli -i wlp2s0 status bssid=08:36:c9:69:cf:52 freq=5220 ssid=NTGR_CF52_5G id=0 mode=station wifi_generation=5 pairwise_cipher=CCMP group_cipher=CCMP key_mgmt=WPA2-PSK wpa_state=COMPLETED p2p_device_address=14:ab:c5:82:3a:ad address=14:ab:c5:82:3a:ac uuid=91f1b983-b4e8-511d-a211-57340c8ec29f ieee80211ac=1 root@pve:~#
Scan and list wifi networks:
``` root@pve:~# wpa_cli -i wlp2s0 scan OK
root@pve:~# wpa_cli -i wlp2s0 scan_results bssid / frequency / signal level / flags / ssid 08:37:c9:67:cf:52 5220 -56 [WPA2-PSK-CCMP][ESS] NTGR_CF123_5G ```
Virtual bridge with wifi card shows it is down:
