 | Hey girl Hey š, I just want to start off by saying I'm not too happy with how she first came to me ,but I put on my big girl panties and dealt with it lol . You will need mink oil and a towel and a iron for this bag . Well with all my neo noes I always iron out the straps and the drawstring, so there's no wrinkles (it's leather anyways so all good) then I use the mink oil and massage it into my bag the handle and the strap . Okay I went a little too crazy with the mink oil this go round but it's okay it'll wear off after use . I will show you what it looks like straight out the box from like slide 17 to 20 ( I know a lot of you want to see that ) I will also show you what it looks like up to my other empriente pieces . The leather feels exactly like my bumbag ,it's like really soft and pliable like not much structure. The cream one is very structured with no bag organizer even in it. I have two more empriente bags on the way so I can compare them all together. I love canvas but I also love empriente/ it's timeless, it's subtle,it's classy. The padding is among the softest I've experienced, making them ideal for both bag work and sparring. submitted by Finessssse to fightgear [link] [comments] I received the 1v1 ARK-1s in 14 ounces today, and they are some of the most comfortable gloves I have ever tried. Despite not being the flagship model, they feel premium and are well worth the $220 price tag. The padding is incredibly soft and protective, similar to my Winning 10-ounce fight gloves, but in a larger size. I think the padding in these gloves is underrated; itās surprising not to see more hype about them. The gloves offer excellent wrist support and fantastic protection. During a one-hour workout, they provided great feedback, which is impressive given the plush padding. I noticed that the left glove weighed 15.05 ounces and the right glove 16.05 ounces. However, I didn't feel the weight difference during the workout. The Velcro versions are known to be 2 ounces over the stated weight, which is why I opted for the 14-ounce version. The gloves came with a nice suede 1v1 drawstring bag, enhancing the unboxing experience. The leather, though made in Pakistan, feels high-quality. One minor complaint is that the piping around the thumb is tight and somewhat uncomfortable, but it started to break in after an hour. I hope it continues to mold to my hands with more use. As for the liner, it is nice and smooth with no complaints. While it's not the most comfortable liner I've feltāthose honors go to the Adidas AdiSpeed 500 and the Adidas Speed Tilt 350āthe ARK-1s are on par with the comfort level of other high-end gloves I have owned and tried. Compared to my 16-ounce Pro-Am retro boxing gloves, these ARK-1s are unique. The Pro-Am gloves are softer and more plush when you have an open hand, but they become a lot firmer and denser when you make a fist. In contrast, the ARK-1s remain soft and plush even when you make a fist, making them perfect for sparring. I'm honestly impressed and surprised by two things. First, the amount of soft, plush padding that still provides excellent protection and feedback. I have absolutely zero clue how they managed to do it, but they did. These gloves are fantastic for training and sparring. If you're looking for an all-around training and sparring glove, this is it. While I can't speak on their durability yet, their performance is top-notch. Second, I'm baffled that more people haven't recommended these gloves. They are, by far, the best gloves I've ever used, regardless of price. A lot of gloves I've tried left me unimpressed, but these ARK-1s are in a league of their own. I'd gladly pay up to $350 for them. At the end of the day, boxing gloves come down to personal preference. Some gloves get hyped in reviews, but when I try them, I'm left unconvinced. So, take my review with a grain of salt. But if you're looking for a soft, protective, all-around training glove, I highly recommend the 1v1 ARK-1s. Preamble: Hi! Iām new to the indie fragrance game, and this is my first ever review. A friend of mine sent me BPAL's website after I made an offhand comment about purchasing a perfume as a previously strictly soap and moisturiser type aiming to expand my horizons and potentially to hot girl summer my way into a signature scent. I have since become fascinated with the world of indie fragrance and the potential scent has to tell stories. These perfumes have had almost two months to rest. I hesitate to state that any of them have changed significantly, though I seem to like Pleasing Two Women more and more as time goes on.
Buying Experience: This order shipped the day after I placed it and made it to me (do not live in the U.S.) in less than two weeks. Packaging was secure and adorable (with several stickers and a little bag for the samples). Could not be happier.
My likes: purple/white florals, lilac in particular, not overly sweet gourmands, citrus, tamer atmospherics, boozy scents done well, clean/powdery scents, other things Iām sure Iāve yet to discover
My dislikes: moss, dirt notes, outlandish atmospherics, berries, strong caramel, cannabis

This hits like an enchanted greenhouse on a rainy day. Like sniffing herbal plants directly while surrounded by wooden benches, more plants, rain, stone, and the warmth of somebody you love. I adore this scent for sleep/for coming out of anxiety. It is comfort bottled. Blind, I would not be able to identify a single note. If I focus and squint (or whatever the nose equivalent of squinting is) I can just make out the lavender bud. To me this is not necessarily a plus or a negative, but the notes are definitely melted together more than layered in the scent experience. 5/5.

Pleasing Two Women: Oakmoss-infused vanilla bourbon, smoked lilac petals, and orris butter.
Lilacs and vanilla sans greenery! This is very pretty. Itās candy-sweet wet, but dries down to a slightly more subtle and realistic lilac supported with vanilla. Fresh, gorgeous, and long lasting. Iāve been wearing this to work out. Itās an uplifting scent for me. You could say that it certainly pleases at least one woman in a decidedly different way than the name alludes to. I chose this over BPALās other lilac blends primarily because the idea of basing perfumes on erotic art was unfathomable to the person I was before my friend sent me the link to the BPAL site, and I thought it was hilarious. In the future Iād like to try more realistic/greenemore complex lilac scents from them. I also know that I dislike typically green moss scents in perfume so I was surprised not to pick up anything that I could identify as oakmoss. Something to consider if that note impacts your interest in this perfume. 3.5/5.

Antony: The embodiment of Classic masculinity. A warriorās scent: the green hills and grasses of the battlefields, the resinous incense from the prayers to his Gods, and a touch of the musky leather of his armor. Ambergris and frankincense with sage, and basil.
Antony smelled like a clean, put together, good man. Itās what I imagine Riley from Buffy the Vampire Slayer would smell like. I gave my sample to a friend immediately so I will refrain from a formal assessment or rating, but I would tell anyone wearing this that they smelled delicious.

Penny Dreadful: Also called Gallows Literature. A dime novel rife with melodrama, horror, madness and cruelty; a ten cent analogy of vice and virtue in conflict. Soft perfume evocative of noir heroines over rich red grave loam.
I would want to FS this were it not for the ārich red grave loamā note. I could not so much as guess at the notes comprising the āsoft perfume evocative of noir heroinesā part but itās beautiful, sexy and intriguing. Like something a woman in a holodeck take on a Sherlock Holmes story would smell like. I wish I could ask Data to identify the separate notes for me so that I could find a version of this more suited to my taste. 2.5/5.

Lilacs and vanilla sans greenery! This is very pretty. Itās candy-sweet wet, but dries down to a slightly more subtle and realistic lilac supported with vanilla. Fresh, gorgeous, and long lasting. Iāve been wearing this to work out. Itās an uplifting scent for me. You could say that it certainly pleases at least one woman in a decidedly different way than the name alludes to. I chose this over BPALās other lilac blends primarily because the idea of basing perfumes on erotic art was unfathomable to the person I was before my friend sent me the link to the BPAL site, and I thought it was hilarious. In the future Iād like to try more realistic/greenemore complex lilac scents from them. I also know that I dislike typically green moss scents in perfume so I was surprised not to pick up anything that I could identify as oakmoss. Something to consider if that note impacts your interest in this perfume. 3.5/5.

Antony: The embodiment of Classic masculinity. A warriorās scent: the green hills and grasses of the battlefields, the resinous incense from the prayers to his Gods, and a touch of the musky leather of his armor. Ambergris and frankincense with sage, and basil.
Antony smelled like a clean, put together, good man. Itās what I imagine Riley from Buffy the Vampire Slayer would smell like. I gave my sample to a friend immediately so I will refrain from a formal assessment or rating, but I would tell anyone wearing this that they smelled delicious.

I would want to FS this were it not for the ārich red grave loamā note. I could not so much as guess at the notes comprising the āsoft perfume evocative of noir heroinesā part but itās beautiful, sexy and intriguing. Like something a woman in a holodeck take on a Sherlock Holmes story would smell like. I wish I could ask Data to identify the separate notes for me so that I could find a version of this more suited to my taste. 2.5/5.

A little bit of a wait due to HP being on much needed vacation, but in the end, he delivered and happy to report both bags are stunning!

1. THIS LEATHER IS BUTTERY!!! I canāt express how supple and luscious this lambskin is in words! It is incredibly soft, zero hint of dryness, thick yet malleable. It actually looks and feels very very close to the auth Loewe Flamenco I fondled at the store, buttery AF!
2. The pouch shape is correct, with correct stitching on the base of the bag and the top section that bunches up randomly in buttery folds (hence the name of the bag because the ruffles mimic a Flamenco dancerās dress!) that look both elegant and casual at the same time. The opening of the pouch is cinched at the top with two leather knotted drawstring straps which can be used as the handles for this bag (as a low key clutch), but as a security feature, thereās also a magnetic closure that seals the opening of the bag, perfect for keeping your goodies in the bag!
3. This bag has not 1 but 2 straps! A beautiful ādonutā ring strap with interwoven leather in alternate lacing and the second strap is an adjustable leather cinch strap that slides long and short depending on whether you want to use it as a shoulder bag or cross body!
4. The only other hardware of the bag is in the snap clasps which are nicely weighted and match the yellow gold tone of the donut chain. All function as needed.
ACCURACY:
1. Here are the dimensions of the auth Mini Flamenco: ā Weight: 0.18 kg , Height : 17 cm ,Width : 23 cm , Depth : 5.5 cm. Admitedly I donāt have a scale so canāt weigh this bag myself but obviously for itās size itās very light. Hereās what I got for my measurements: Height : 17 cm, Width : 24 cm, Depth : 5 cm. Iād say this is a good match for the dimensions.
2. The first strap, the leather knotted version is removable and adjustable with a minimum length of 82 cm and max of 142 cm. The donut chain strap is 36 cm for mine.
3. The Donut strap gold tone is yellow, perhaps a touch more yellow than auth, but the luster and gloss is correct, it also is very dependent on lighting so I am not docking points off this because itās verry hard to judge if you donāt have the auth next to it.
4. The shape, engravings and weight of the hardware are a good likeness for the auth. The snap hooks on the strap are the correct shape, have good functionality and are correctly branded with the Loewe logo.
5. Everything about the leather is just delicious. I canāt complain because I remember the auth being very similar in feel to the softness and density of this nappa lambskin. The burgundy shade is pretty much an exact match to the auth. The knotted drawstrings do not feel flimsy, the thickness and density are appreciated and even for a small bag, I donāt need to baby it.
6. The make/craftmanship of the bag is top notch. The suede lining is well lined, stitched well and no loose or faulty craftmanship anywhere. The pouch opening leather is well folded and stitched over.
7. I will deduct points for the thread being a shade too light compared to the auth. I am not too fussed about it but I did want to call that out for those who are concerned with the minute details. Taking one point off here.
8. Interior suede is thick, has good dense feeling and has a very nice texture. The interior datecode and logo match the auth well.

Well this bag is teensy weensy, so other than my phone, a pack of issues, a cardholder, a compact and lipstick I am not really adding anything to itā¦.I mean, what do you REALLY need at a wedding except for these few items?! A pack of gum or tictacs? Easy peasy, done deal. At any rate, whatever essentials youād need for dressing up, this baby can handle it and thatās all you need in here anyways!

I honestly didnāt expect to love this bag so much, but now I see any ladies love it and say itās a good part of their collection. I was on the hunt for a small but practical bag, and with all the different ways this bag can be carried itās quickly becoming a standout for any time I need a small elegant but functional bag for parties or nights out.
Itās my first burgundy colored bag (I was initially going to get the black) but I am glad I went for this pop of color. The burgundy is very deep, classy and understated in color but still pleasant to the eyes. I am not considering getting a puzzle in the dark burgundy as well just because this color is growing on me.

I know there have been many members who feel jilted that his communication has been few and far in between but I took the patient route and just waited for my bag to arrive (my order took over a month from start to finish, by the way). LNIB never cut or carried. Light in your hand but feels great even in high hands. No clip. Only thing I can find on it is that the rounded side of the pivot and body standoffs have a little bit of fading on the blue anodization, most likely from being put in the pouch. Wouldn't have noticed it if I didn't see someone else's complaint about it happening when looking up the backspacer material to post this. Comes with box, drawstring pouch, sharkskin leather pocket pouch, and certificate that comes with all gold class Benchmades. SV $450 OBO TV $475

The sun beat harshly upon Olivia Chapman but she didn't notice. She was digging and probing a small animal den with a stick. To glimpse the amusement shining in her eyes as she waited for whatever small furry resident within, to come bursting forth once she had prodded deep enough, was to realize that she was aware of nothing else around her.
Her sister Veronica splashes in a nearby stream that runs the length of Brunswick park before becoming a large pool enshrined by poplar trees and a small sandy bank.
It was on this makeshift shore that the girls had laid out a long pink blanket, held down by stones collected from the several trips they had made to the same spot that summer.
Veronica is only 5 years old but the stream is hardly deeper than her calf and she kicks and spins in the water as the frills of her dress become saturated. Olivia is almost 11 but when she hears a soft snap beneath the ground her brow furrows and her face darkens with anger. Eliminating all signs of early adolescence. Her concentration on the den breaks for a moment, casting aside the broken stick and she peers over the sand bank at her sister playing. She smiles to herself thinking of all the adventures the two had shared over the summer. Their father had recently taken a promotion working with the city planners of Brunswick and the girl's mother had explained very clearly the day school got out that the two of them would be looking after each other this summer and they had happily obliged.
On this particular day their mother had asked that they keep themselves busy for a few hours at the park while she worked around the house and so with their trusty blanket and a few pieces of candy to incentivize them they were happily on their way.
Olivia calls out to her sister and begins climbing to her feet when she feels it. A small vibration like the subtle rhythm of a tiny drum, passes through her hand. She barely registers the feeling but as she presses harder to get up the steady beat is unmistakable. Olivia immediately grabs another appropriately sized stick and begins trying to goad whatever animal is trying to evade her. She is a kind and caring child but a lack of supervision and an intense curiosity had created several of these frantic animal excavations over the summer.
The den had gone from the size of a golf ball to a small crater in just a few moments as Olivia plunged the stick inside and pulled the dirt away over and over. The prospect and excitement of a chipmunk or a mole suddenly emerging from the earth caused her to grin wildly, but after several moments nothing had emerged. She nervously placed her hand in the hole she created hoping that the animal inside knew how she only wanted to make friends but instead of a startled creature, Olivia felt something unexpected. Like shoelaces or maybe ribbons?
She reaches in deeper and gathers the long soft material in her hand and pulls.
Brushing off sand and dirt Olivia raises a drawstring pouch into the air. The pulse ripples through her hand stronger than before and causes her to immediately drop the bag. She quickly stands and takes a step back from her discovery. The decrepit bag lands near her feet and in an instant her fear turns to that same curiosity. She picks up the bag once more and begins examining it. Her hand thrums, thump, thump, thump. She swallows a few times summoning her courage and tries to figure out what she is holding. The bag is a thick leather and the drawstrings at the top are drawn tightly and knotted several times. Olivia immediately grabs another appropriately sized stick and begins trying to goad whatever animal is trying to evade her. She is a kind and caring child but a lack of supervision and an intense curiosity had created several of these frantic animal excavations over the summer.
The den had gone from the size of a golf ball to a small crater in just a few moments as Olivia plunged the stick inside and pulled the dirt away over and over. The prospect and excitement of a chipmunk or a mole suddenly emerging from the earth caused her to grin wildly, but after several moments nothing had emerged. She nervously placed her hand in the hole she created hoping that the animal inside knew how she only wanted to make friends but instead of a startled creature, Olivia felt something unexpected. Like shoelaces or maybe ribbons?

I put this post together in the hopes that it can spawn a sidebar at some point in the not too distant future. The legit check posts on this subreddit are overwhelming, to say the least. Since I have slowly amassed a little collection over the past 15 years, I figured I could post nearly everything I own as a reference point for what legit items actually look like with crisp, high resolution photos of the brand tags and care labels.
The dead giveaway for take items is almost always in the brand tag or the care labels. You can see in this old pair of pants, and this newer sweatshirt, that the brand name on the care labels is always in the same font, even when they dropped the Martin part of the brand name. Common fakes use condensed fonts or fonts other than the ones in these legit ones referenced.
The material of the care tags varies from a plastic/rubber coated paper type of material that degrades over time, a satin material that the printing fades over time with washing, to the newest look which is some kind of waxy paper that seems almost sharp on the edges. Here's all three of them in newest to oldest order one image.
The brand tag is either all white with no printing or has circled numbers, like mine. Since mine are all men's you'll only see the 10 or 14 circled in my references. This label came off a brand new pair of pants, and you can see how raised the printing is, almost like a crisp dollar bill. Here's one that's been through the wash about a 100 times, and you can see that the printing is still very dark, and you can see the pebble textured canvas tag is still exactly the same as the brand new one. A lot of recent fake item posts are pretty obvious when you see just how consistent the brand has been over the past 20 years in maintaining the brand label. Common fakes use much lighter printing, wrong font, wrong size font, and wrong material for the tag.
Sometimes they add the "Made In Italy" as a stitched on mini-label under the brand label like this sweater. Sometimes the "Made In Italy" (or other country) is added to the care tag, like this sweater. This font is generally the worst faked part and is blurry or uses the wrong font/size.
The placement of the tag is not always on the back, sometimes it is stitched into the side lining of the pants, like this one. Inside suits and pants that are lined, it is typically on the liner, not on the fabric itself, so the label doesn't always show through. The threads that hold the tag in place is always very similar. Typically it's a very specific size thread that loops 2-3x through each corner like this one and this one.
There are some other flourishes that show up with a fair bit of regularity, like the clasp on most pants. The high quality leather on elbow patches. Even leather aglets on drawstrings.
