My neighbor is known for hating animals, I’ve seen her beating dogs with a stick, kicking cats just because they were walking through her yard etc. Several cats were poisoned in our neighborhood lately including mine and I do believe that she’s responsible for that even though I don’t have any solid evidence. I want to destroy her garden, she is growing various kinds of vegetables and I do have an access from the street to her backyard. I was thinking about collecting slugs that are known for eating plants and letting them in over the fence, but I would need at least 50 of them to make some real damage. She is obsessed with gardening, I would love to hear your suggestions.

If you were unaware of this, our bylaws do allow trade-outs like that. Bombast could, for example, cede the floor to Mastadon as rep of the Council lands and John Hellfire could cede the floor to... Ith'Raal I guess. The Agent is also currently filling in for the Herald in the Mercenary Guild (read: fictional character trade-offs are of course, also acceptable).

#1. The Demi-plane:

Now that I've explained my presence, on to business. We have two main items to discuss.
We had a draw in the vote between the Ocean and Dreamscape demi-planes as locations to build our meeting hall/fortress. Jungle is out and we're having a runoff.
Aside from personal or aesthetic tastes, Bombast, our resident expert on demi-planes and the person who provided these options, personally recommends the Dreamscape, while Guardian Logos of the Astral Assembly, who has been particularly active in suggestions for construction, speculates that we could use the ambient lightning of the Ocean plane's forever-storms to power the facility.

#3. On the Issue of Gods:

How much power do we want literal deities to have over our organization? This will be the focus of discussion today. This matter was always on the itinerary and actually came up in our very first meeting, but it is becoming increasingly apparent that this needs to happen sooner rather than later.
(I ask that everyone please try to remain calm and polite and consider feelings of the person you're talking to.)
uw/ Alright. This one can kind of only be talked about in uw because so many things related to this are meta. It's divisive for out of character reasons whereas #2 is divisive for in character reasons and if we don't square this away quickly, it'll lead to more grief for everyone. So let's get this resolved now in an open and productive way so that from here on out, we can just tap the sign. I'll try to present both sides here as best I can.
AGAINST: The EON Compact was created primarily for collaborative worldbuilders, people who want a little more involved wizard politics than what the council offers, and people who want to have interactions with their (hopefully) in-character foes in a way that isn't Wizard War #145.
Im going to use a comment by Aldin here as an example. This is not to pick on him. I respect very much what he does in this community, his writing, and the support he was trying to show. I especially enjoy his tournaments and how they've brought people together. I really want to stress here its not a callout. In fact I chose this comment specifically because it is a great example that was resolved in character with no drama, so we can look at it with clear heads.
( EXAMPLE CASE )
In the collaborative construction of the Fortress, we all get to contribute little details that later become established lore for everyone to interact with. If a god comes in and simply provides a fortress that cannot be harmed by anything and solves all of our problems, the collective game we all showed up to play is now over and only one person got to contribute.
If a god simply wills a civilization, fully-formed and populated, into being, they will technically qualify as members, but many would consider that to be violating the spirit of what we're doing here. Finally, if a god is so strong that the entirety of the EON Compact could never subdue them, then functionally they get to propose in-character rules that only they can get away with not following.
FOR: There is also an argument to be made for allowing gods into EON. It is brief, but it is important. Turning people away is generally considered to be rude. It's not a very nice thing to do and creates a rift in the community.
We are, after all, each here to pretend to be silly wizards. Or serious wizards. Or both. But the point is, as passionate as I am about EON and as much as I want it to succeed, it is still worthwhile to take a step back, consider everyone's feelings, and acknowledge that this sub is supposed to be a fun and inclusive wizard zone.
So, do we allow gods to be participating members of EON? I'm proposing two options for the god dilemma.

1. No (But maybe someone can host a party with the gods and EON invited so EON and the gods can still RP together in the spirit of goodwill)
2. Yes (None of those concerns really bothered me)

We'll start here as groundwork and if someone feels it necessary to add nuance later, we can. But we need a clear yes/no to build off of to start. Anyway here's the god poll:

Not affiliated or paid review, just sharing my experience after a couple of average eBay purchases.
After buying a couple of older models (2 x 5th gen’s and a 3rd gen) I thought I’d splurge on a decent refurbished 7th gen.
After a bit of searching mostly on eBay, I found an Australia based company (I’m in New Zealand) who offer refurbished 5th, 6th and 7th gen using original apple parts in excellent condition. I bought a 7th gen 160gb (original hard drive) with a black faceplate from a 6th gen with the black click wheel.
They offer a few different colour options/mixes for the 6th and 7th gen, 12 months warranty (may not include postage back to them if you’re out of Aus) all parts have been replaced with original apple where possible and cleaned and tested, new battery, includes 2 x usb cables and a set of headphones (I think 3rd party) all packed securely in bubble wrap and boxed (not original iPod box). I used it for close to 6 hours and the battery was around 85-90% so not sure what it is, but very decent.
It took around 8 working days from order to receiving to NZ and I was amazed by the quality of the iPod when I opened it. It looked brand new, with tiny surface scratches on the front screen I only saw when I struggled to look for any, proving it’s not a cheap 3rd party faceplate. Perfect like-new back plate, click wheel operates great, and I love the quirks of using a real hard drive, but they do offer a couple of SSD options if you prefer.
I paid around $250 USD on a discount including delivery, but think it’s worth every penny to have a “new” iPod in immaculate condition to add to my collection going forward and also knowing it’s not a cheap ‘cutting-corners’ refurb that will crap out in 2 weeks with shitty replacement parts. After all, what is having adult money for, if not to buy what your child/teenage self couldn’t afford.
I will be keeping this baby in a good quality case and treasuring each use! Highly recommend if you are on the lookout for a great quality classic. Search Console Mate on eBay, or the link below.

I’ve been working on a redesign of the Winnu for Twilight imperium, as they are a very interesting race to me but have a lot of gameplay problems I hope to solve with a few changes. In such a wacky space opera strategy game as this, it saddens me to see such a missed opportunity with this race.
‘Hold mecatol Rex and take imperial’ is a lame strategy when you are one of the weakest starting out, the whole table knows you will be able to score a lot and so it’s easy for them to cut you down before a victory with Winnu hero is even possible. The key problem is the speed at which you score, and how aware everyone is of this fact, combined with your relative weakness. A determined faction with even a half decent start can eliminate the Winnu long before they can take control. These are the problems my rewrite is aiming to fix.
1- The things that stayed the same
I kept their Mech, flagship, promissory note, hero, and starting technology the same.
That's it!
2- Minor changes
Commodities increased for 3 to 4. I wanted to give this faction a stronger economic base to back up their new game plan.
Commander now gives only a plus 1 to combat. Since they are stronger plastic wise I thought weakening their bonuses in combat was an easy trade off.
Starting fleet has been bumped up with a dreadnaught and a mech. The lore talks about the massive Winnu fleets that are setting out to take the galaxy, and this was a feeling I wanted to represent more in their gameplay.
Lazax gatefolding technology now treats mecatol Rex as adjacent to all wormholes permanently rather than only when you don’t control it. Will make this tech more valuable for reinforcing the center rather than purely reaching it. Secondary effect is unchanged.
Hegemonic Trading Policy no longer only works during specifically production. Always spend the higher value for both influence and resources. The card still exhausts and will probably always be used on mecatol Rex anyway but added flexibility is nice in a pinch.
3-Complete Reworks
The main thing here is the core faction abilities. Reclamation and Blood ties are weak abilities for this faction and there will be many games in which they never even activate.
Their new abilities I hope give them a unique scoring system based around holding valuable planets and working in the shadows.
The Winnu can now hold any number of unscored secret objectives, and can score an additional secret objective. They cannot score secret objective without control of their home system.
The Winnu can no longer score public objectives or gain points from the Imperial strategy card primary. When they would gain points from these sources, instead they may score a secret objective.
(They can still get a point from the custodians token).
At the end of the status phase, they may score victory points equal to the number of legendary planets and mecatol rex you control.
This is a lot of points potential from their high value planets, but is highly telegraphed and potentially more vulnerable to winslaying than their hero with public objectives.
New Agent: As an action, do the secondary ability of a chosen strategy card (Blatantly stolen from Space Cats Peace Turtles). This lets them collect some secret objectives later on while giving them great flexibility early.
I hope these new rules give you a picture of the Winnu as I see them. Send out mechs to rebuild the galaxy, secure high value planets and build a great fleet to defend you or borders. Secure the most critical planets in the galaxy, racking up points as your hold on these critical planets increases. Use your greater wealth and upgraded starting fleet to build up a great armada to protect your newfound gains and push for planets late game. Manipulate the strategy cards to push ahead on scoring at critical junctures. All of this is my vision for a newly designed Winnu based less around 1 single gigantic point swing, which people at my table do not like.
Overall I think this makes the Winnu more dynamic and interesting, really opening up paths for one of my favorite factions. I'm not certain about the balance of all these abilities, but I'm hoping to test them out soon in a game. Let me know your thoughts on this remake!

This is really a callout for advice!! 2 years ago April 2022 My tomcat sadly passed. He was put to rest under an old tree in my backyard…in an old but thick, plastic cooler. I honestly don’t know what I was thinking, I was 17 and in mourning and just wanted him to have a respectful place to rest. I know I should’ve wrapped him in a towel and buried him like that. I knew within a few months of his passing I would like to recollect his bones and reassemble them to the best of my abilities in my own way of honoring him. The Question is: Is it time to dig him up? Or is it still to early? I really would not like to dig my baby up to him being half decomposed so if it’s necessary to wait a few more years then I’ll do that. Thank you for any advice going forward with this

Hi!
I'm a 31 year old guy from Sweden looking for a long term relationship. I would prefer if you are from Sweden/Scandinavia or at least the EU since traveling and relocation in the future will be much easier.
Looks wise I'm on the leaner side, 170cm/5'7" tall and have medium brown hair.

I also love animals (I have a cat) and am trying to learn to play electric guitar. I also go to the gym 4 days a week.
Music-wise I'm into metal, mainly metalcore and death metal. My current obsession is Vildhjarta and Humanity's Last Breath. I have broad music taste though, so why not shoot me some songs? I also collect vinyls of albums I like and display them on my wall.
I'm looking for someone who's kind, compassionate, has good communication skills and is preferably a nerd like me lol. I do not hold many "traditional values" and think that a man and woman should contribute the same amount to the household (if possible of course). Just wanted to get that out of the way. Looks wise I think that attraction is very important in a relationship, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so don't be shy! I do not have any height or weight requirements really, if we vibe we vibe.
