The concept pf the deck remains on minimalistic but I want to try something different. This are only the first idea, I won't be doing all the design tests digitally because I don't have the means to do so. Therefore, all the sketches you will see will be on paper, and only later, when I have found the right design, will I get something to work on it digitally. So I'm looking for plugin recommendations because everything I can currently find provides too much functionality. I'm trying to build an 'view availability' page that just lets site visitors see a calendar that is colour-coded for "free days" and "not free days." Ideally, the calendar plug in would look at an outlook calendar, and if there are any events in Outlook for a given day, the website calendar would grey out that day.
So, kind of like how a booking page calendar works, only I very specifically do not want anyone to be able to make a booking an add to the calendar. I just want them to see whether a day is free or not, and for it to automatically live update as I use my outlook calendars. It's also important that the calendar blocks out entire days and doesn't show the literal calendar events that are in Outlook.

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well today and enjoying the weekend. I just wanted to drop in and give my two cents about the recent issue that happened in the sub.
When I became the mod of this sub I was just doing things on my own. I didn't have any vision for the sub itself and I was mainly responsible for looking at it and approving disapproving posts. I did what I thought was right but there were there were things I could have done better no denying that. I also had several disagreements with many members here during that time. But ever since I became the top mod here I have time and time again reiterated that the vision of I have for this place is much much bigger wider and full of respect honesty , and trust. I wanted this place to become a safe heaven for those who want to come here and express their feelings.
Surely it did take time and with time I got to know I cannot do this all alone. I interacted with a few fellow members here who are now mods of this community respectively and I am 100% sure they are doing their job well. My trust is too much on them and I know for sure whatever they do has some logic behind it.
With that being said I have three things to address here. One is the fact that if anyone of you members has any disagreement on anything that another mod has done or a mod is not doing right. Tell me about it. I will look into it myself. Although I'm sure there are very less people here who would disagree with mods. I also reiterate here that please respect the mods. The time they are taking out from their precious lives is vital and they don't wanna sound or feel bad for being here because at the end of the day it's a happy place for them as much as for you people
The second thing I want to say is that whatever happened last week and whatever decision the mods took was correct. I stand by it and I don't think there was anything wrong in that. Chapter closed. Simple as that. If any member of sub feels harassed, disrespected, hurt or insulted they have all the right to report to the mods and mods in return have all the right to address that issue however they want. Whether it means warning someone. Or whether it means directly banning someone. I will not stand or tolerate bullshit here and surely I don't want members disrespecting out here on the sub. You never know how strongly the words can pinch someone in the heart. So at the end of the day empathise with people here. Not every human thinks like you. Everyone is different and with that taken into account you have to be respectful with whatever you say here. We don't tolerate bullshit here. Never have and of course never will.
The third thing is that I know I am not that much active here anymore as I have a busy life but what I want to tell is I feel that there is some gap between the members of the sub and me. I don't know why you people feel that contacting the top mod for some issue you're having on the sub is scary. It isn't. I feel this gap that is why I'm addressing it. This sub and it's people mean alot to me. If any of the mods is inactive and not replying you can always talk to me. I ll address your matter. 90% of times people only dm me to talk about some post that wasn't approved. Guys and girls I have time and time again said don't waste your time on this. Whatever is approved on the sub is in accordance to the rules of sub that you all must read before posting anything here. However if there is still some post that you feel should be posted and is not approved by a mod DM me on that. I will then look into it myself if it is eligible enough to be posted or not. The context of this is that even if I'm late in getting back to you on some matter that needs my attention. I still will. I will look into it properly and address it. Yet again I ll emphasise that mods are doing their work perfectly I don't think there is anything wrong that they have did. If I feel there is I ll talk to them and address.
Lastly if anyone has any concerns feel free to write on this post

I've played wow as a kid during mostly wotlk, then again a bit during legion, but I never got into raiding, only random dungeons and solo questing/exploring, and battlegrounds. I started playing hearthstone not too long ago, and it created an itch for wow, but i have a small child and thought that I wouldn't have time for raiding. But now, with the new expansion coming up with some solo endgame content, it seems like it's a decent time to scratch the itch.
So i'm wondering which faction and class to pick, to just casually play (reach max level, do some exploring, level professions, maybe clear some older content solo) and get familiar with until the next expansion. The only pvp I plan on doing is probably battlegrounds, and maybe world pvp. I assume alliance should have shorter queue times for battlegrounds, is my assumption correct? Regarding class choices, I'm assuming hunter is the easiest to get started, but I'm also attracted to mage (for teleports, free food, cc) and rogue (used to enjoy stealth a lot). I'm not familiar with the newer classes. Also thought about maybe druid, due to how many different play styles it has? Any other class suggestions, or arguments why pick one over the other? Also looking for any other tips, ideas, etc.

Its no wonder why jujutsu society let him roam free even after branding him a criminal, the man was just too strong. Any of his special grade curses would have many grade 1 to special grade 1 leveled sorcerers gasping for air like MeiMei and the smallpox deity or even Kurorushi who would end 80 percent of the verse (Unless you have insane HAX like Yuta). Speaking of Yuta, unless you have his insane HAX, killing Getos body would be suicide due to the spirits lashing out the minute he dies. This even saved Geto from Toji killing him since he simply did not want to take that risk. I've been on slimming world on and off for about 9 years. I'm not overweight or anything, I just use it from time to time when I hit around the 15 stone mark, from food I eat at Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc. Then I drop to around 13 stone, which try to maintain. I'm 6ft 1 so the gain in weight isn’t really that noticeable, but I do it mostly to stay healthy. The point is that Slimming World seems to be the easiest diet plan I've ever been on.
Recently, I found how frustrating it is to cook meals from scratch when you just don’t feel like cooking. Breakfast is fine, but lunches and dinners have become a bit if an inconvenience. I can’t cook at the times I plan to because my house is very busy with people coming and going all day. I tried a thing where I cooked my lunch and dinner at night and stored them in the fridge to eat the next day, but it got very tiring. When I go shopping I can’t find anything syn free and healthy that I can just microwave or oven cook at home. For instance, I would like one of those John West Tuna Lunches, but they’re not syn free, or even a lasagne I can just microwave in the tray. There just aren’t enough syns to do this. It seems that to have any syn free meal it has to be cooked from scratch. The only way is to do a calorie deficit, but that's an even bigger inconvenience with counting everything including vegetable. Is there any way to work around this with Slimming World?

Hi all I hope this fits this sub. I'm about to purchase a small farm of about 14 ha and I have a few questions. My goal is to eventually have a small scale cattle operation (8-10 cow calf pairs) but I have never worked with cattle before so I'm having a few questions. My family mostly dealt with large scale crops and some sheep, so I'm not completely oblivious and there are people who can help me sort some stuff out. I have always been drawn to cows so I've been meaning to give it a go.
First I wanted to have a real opinion of how viable this is, starting something like that with almost zero experience. My plan is before I get my first cows I'll talk to my neighbors. (where I'm from most people have small scale operations of up to 10 pairs and people are very friendly to their neighbors) So I thought maybe I'll help some of them out for a year or so whenever they needed help in order to pick up the basics (probably for free) Insemination is commonly done by vets here, I've been told by farmers, so I don't have to learn that. (At least not early on)
Second, assuming I'll be doing rotational grazing and that grass grows here year round and very fast (I live in a very fertile area, and it rains here year round) would I need to treat the pasture in any way or just leave it be?
I was also wondering whether or not Heavy machinery is needed? I've been reading and I've seen that some operation do use heavy machinery, but those places look like they're raising more cows than they're land can naturally support.
Last what is a good book to read about raising cattle? I just started reading "Raising Beef Cattle for Dummies" which provides me with allot of info that I, a dummy, needs

I'm getting a lot better at skating, but I think it's time for an upgrade. I'm looking for a good all-around board that can handle both cruising and tricks. I ride around the city a lot, so I need something that rolls well. But I also want to be able to ollie up easily and well. I'm not sure what I have now, but it's a Baker board with Independent trucks, 80HD Spitfire wheels, and Bones bearings. What do you think would be a good upgrade? I have no budget, so feel free to suggest whatever you think is best. Also, if you have experience with ceramic bearings, please give me your honest opinion. Thanks!

So I gotta do a rant about something that's now over already for some time but still makes me seethe when I think about it. I am from germany and I am quite unsure about some work related english terminolgy, so if it confuses you ask away.
Until recently I worked in a sheltered workshop and 2.5 years ago there was the next works council vote to be held, at the start there were only 3 candidates so an autistic co-worker (I will call him Matthew) and me thought it would be a more interesting election with more candidates and we both put us up for election after getting some support from our departments, in the end there were actually 8 candidates and even though I could only hold half a speech before having a meltdown, I still got elected together with John and a very friendly co-worker from another department with some form of learning disability (Let's call him Phill)
Now we got a bit of a problem, as we were elected to represent around 150 people, with no one having prior experience in it and the former council being mostly absent/going into retirement, suddenly we were supposed to attend all kind of organizing events, which mostly were very interesting and fun but also stuff like employment interviews for the staff of the sheltered workshop who supervises departments where I already sometimes got sideeyed by the workshop staff when I asked for claryfications on questions.
But what really made me angry was the kind of ableism you'd suddenly encountenotice everyday. We were expected to act like NTs and when we didn't we would be blamed for all kind of stuff.
One time we got a complaint from a department about the staff there and we decided to just go there to ask if we could set up a meeting with them, the next day we were told my the workshop manager that we couldn't just "waltz in" any department as it would send a specific message when the works council just comes along and talks with the staff there and that in the future we should talk to him first.
Another time my two colleagues went down to the manager to set up a meeting because we wanted to talk about a change to the operating regulations he NEEDED our approval for what he ignored "because the former council already agreed" even though that was two years ago at that point postboned because of covid-19.
Well, I never entirely got told what exactly happened there but apparently he told them they could come in right away to speak about it and got very loud at some point, from that day onward Matthew didn't want any conflict anymore at all with the management and I am pretty sure it triggered some traumatic experience from his childhood ABA therapy... from all I can tell and it's making me really sad even today, as he's one of the most kindest and well thought out people I know, even though he's in his fifties he never got that "boomer attitude" going a lots of older people get.
I tried to push it further and managment even acknowled that our complaint about the new regulations were factually correct but they wouldn't care because it's basically already done and it didn't help that my two colleagues didn't want to push it any further as Phill generally, while being a very nice and friendly person just disliked conflict from the start.
Then there were all the times where we were told something would be done with it never being done until we asked at least three more times, like how do these kind of structures NTs put up even keep working at this point?!
A lot of other changes management just assumed any missing protest from our side meant we agreed with it even though they would need our formal confirmation but everytime I wanted to go file an official complaint Phill didn't care and Matthew didn't want to cause a ruckus.
Also bullshit rules obviously made by NTs for NTs, like: You are allowed to eat there even if you are sick but only if you visited a doctor who confirmed you are sick, otherwise you weren't allowed to eat in the canteen because apparently "people could feel it would be unfair" even though no one of our co-workers ever told us so and they wouldn't know if someone was sick or "official sick" anyway as they aren't allowed to ask if a doctor confirmed it or not. When we asked how they intent to control it they said they realisticly couldn't and hence trust the people being honest, we of course mirrored this response to our co-workers and asked of them in a very non sarcastic tone of voice to be please very honest. (Anyone knowing Babylon 5 just imagine Londo)
We started to resort to "more subtle but non subtle" ways of criticizing bad practices, like we held the yearly company meeting (led by us, attened by everyone interested including workshop staff) and there were people who had serious complaints (about being infantilized by certain staff members all the time) who we gave the time to voice it and of course the workshop staff wanted to quiet them down, so we added a "private" part where no workshop staff was allowed, we excluded management from the last part of the monthly meetings, as they did exclude us from theirs (which was already normal practice since years) and stuff like that.
Well overall it was a very interesting and fun experience but it was also so FUCKING FRUSTRATING, indeed it frustrated me so much that I left the workshop (and the works council early) for that very reason after being there almost 11 years, fuck that shit, fuck NTs with power complexes and their "politics" of doing things the very exact way unwritten rules never told you.
I know this got a lot less structured and more chaotic than I wanted and I left out some details but it makes me too angry to straighten it right now, feel free to ask away.
5/10 would only recommend if you are ready to leave afterwards and got a very high frustration tolerance.

Hi all, my regular customers booked dates in July with me in January, we got our own puppy in May and they were super excited for us!
Our dog gets along with everyone well & has been fine with all the dogs we’ve been boarding so far.
The regulars dog barks & growls at others all day long but has never shown any sign of aggression and has even been boarded with other dogs before & was just grumpy but never hurt them. She usually tends to just go to her own corner and doesn’t want to interact with them.
So now we’ve already had a meet & greet during the day for 2 hours and their dog kept growling/ avoiding ours as expected. They now suggested us to take their dog for 2 nights to test how the girls would get along before July.
Should I be charging for that ? I mean we got a dog so it’s on us now that there has to be a test nights. We didn’t have one when they originally booked the dates. I’m thinking to just do it for free as it’s “on us” to have gotten a dog if that makes sense.

Fwiw I don’t feel like cutting her out just yet, and I’d rather see if she’s willing to communicate a bit more.
But (and I know this doesn’t really matter) why behave like this? Like why act super interested then abruptly pull back? Why act interested again?

2024.06.01 13:10 Okm80m9 Selfish Australian Opinion: the Super Rugby format is dead, after the 2025 Broadcast deal ends, Australia should just make a national league like England or France
Before you say ridiculous, here's some Australia specific Rugby problems:
In Short, A 10-12 team domestic competition modelled on English & french domestic comps. 2 Pacific Island Teams, Brumbies, 3 NSW teams, 3 QLD teams, Western Force and Melbourne Rebels. There would be growing pains, the initial quality would not be the same as Super Rugby and it would take time to build fan bases, BUT:
You address all 3 of these points. The new teams would be able to capitalise on localised fanbase rather than a fairly nebulous state team, teams could play at mid sized local stadiums and create an atmosphere like the Tahs experienced at Leichhardt oval in 2021(I have never seen such a raucous turnout for Rugby Union as those games in Balmain). You would have twice as many professional contracts available to incentivise young talent to give pro Rugby a crack. The new clubs would have much more self determination and freedom to operate as a business. tick, tick, tick.
Problems:
Initial broadcast revenue would not be equivalent to the Super Rugby revenue. Contracts will not be as lucrative as the current ones available. Inevitably plenty of star talent will be lost to overseas franchises in the startup phase. Andrew Forrest(owner of the Western Force) was ready to create 'Global Rapid Rugby' and bankroll a breakaway comp back in 2018-19, only concluded by the Force being allowed back in to SR during covid in 2020.
I don't think NZ would be keen on this model in their domestic comp bc with a population of 5 Million it's a real push to support more professional teams than they already do. Their depth of talent is obviously insane but can that many fans support a professional league? Maybe with the obsessive rugby culture they have it could.
The BONUS
Ever heard of the European Champions Cup? Welcome to the Pacific Champions Cup. This is where the broadcast cash gets interesting: the top 2 teams from the Australian, New Zealand and Japanese Domestic Rugby competitions duke it out exactly the way that the European rugby sides do. This idea really gets my tail up and adds an international club element that the other codes in Australia really lack.
As imposing as creating a new comp from scratch is, Super Rugby is dying a slow, public death. I'm interested to hear everyone else's solutions to the demise of Super Rugby pacific.

- Massive competition between sports codes - Rugby in Australia is absolutely eclipsed by the NRL and AFL, My gut feeling says that Aussies prefer to watch a sport they don't get annihilated in week on week, and they actually like to see their teams win but there is another reason: there is actually a tribal culture around NRL and AFL teams. People LOVE the rivalry and camaraderie of footy club culture in Australia and Super Rugby teams playing in empty cavernous stadiums just don't have that. Conversely, half of the Shute shield teams now have more enaged fans than the Tahs, Force or Rebels. I've never seen someone with a NSW Waratahs tattoo, I have at least 3 mates in Sydney with a Rabbitohs tattoo on their ass. It's a different level of passion.
- No Development Pathways - whether you blame it on rugby league or the Randwick Rugby Club nepo babies, there are only 150 Professional Rugby contracts available in Australia. Most of those contracts are taken up by established professionals, and since 3rd tier Rugby Like Shute Shield pays in popcorn and free skydiving tickets young talented rugby players graduating out of school get no benefit out of the Rugby development system. Compare that to the 500+ NRL contracts, plus the development NRL contracts that have a minimum wage of 80K a year, no wonder the talent leaks away from rugby.
- Representative based system, rather than clubs - Australian Super Rugby teams aren't really clubs, They're rep footy sides run by the governing body(excepting whatever is happening at Western Force). From a sports administration point of view this really muddies the waters of how the organisation can operate, appoint board members, CEO's etc(Australian laws around sports clubs also allow for clubs to run their own venue like a pub for members, generating consistent revenue streams, which the SR teams do not qualify for).
In Short, A 10-12 team domestic competition modelled on English & french domestic comps. 2 Pacific Island Teams, Brumbies, 3 NSW teams, 3 QLD teams, Western Force and Melbourne Rebels. There would be growing pains, the initial quality would not be the same as Super Rugby and it would take time to build fan bases, BUT:
You address all 3 of these points. The new teams would be able to capitalise on localised fanbase rather than a fairly nebulous state team, teams could play at mid sized local stadiums and create an atmosphere like the Tahs experienced at Leichhardt oval in 2021(I have never seen such a raucous turnout for Rugby Union as those games in Balmain). You would have twice as many professional contracts available to incentivise young talent to give pro Rugby a crack. The new clubs would have much more self determination and freedom to operate as a business. tick, tick, tick.
Problems:
Initial broadcast revenue would not be equivalent to the Super Rugby revenue. Contracts will not be as lucrative as the current ones available. Inevitably plenty of star talent will be lost to overseas franchises in the startup phase. Andrew Forrest(owner of the Western Force) was ready to create 'Global Rapid Rugby' and bankroll a breakaway comp back in 2018-19, only concluded by the Force being allowed back in to SR during covid in 2020.
I don't think NZ would be keen on this model in their domestic comp bc with a population of 5 Million it's a real push to support more professional teams than they already do. Their depth of talent is obviously insane but can that many fans support a professional league? Maybe with the obsessive rugby culture they have it could.

First time posting, long time reader. Wasn’t sure how to go about this but here goes..
My wife (33F) is finishing up her 3rd year in DO school. We’ve been together 12 years, married going on 6. We don’t have kids. I (39M) have been along for the journey since undergrad. What a rollercoaster.. Getting into med school was huge. It was a school out of state. We’re from the west coast, school is in southwest; close enough to family to visit, far enough to miss them. I work full time and fortunately was able to transfer. We have a home in CA and again, fortunately, I make a decent amount where we were able to buy a home close enough to her school and an hour away from my work. Currently, we rent out the west coast property. Having properties has always been a goal of mine, so buying a second home wasn’t something I would be upset about, especially in a growing city.
Since I work, I carry most, if not all, of the financial side of things. I say most because I don’t want to discredit when she buys things at the market and I don’t hand her money to pay for it. For me, my money is our money. Her loan is my loan. We do it together. I’m on board.
The demands of med school are intense, as we all know. I’m on board with all the sacrifices we make as spouses. I cook, I clean, I pack her lunches, wake her up if/when she’s running late, prepare her coffee and send her off with “I got you, babe.” That’s who I am. I do all those things not for an IOU payment. I do it because I love my wife and I know I want to support my partner. I feel like she has possibly gotten so used to it that she forgets to support the one who supports her most. Her family situation is another post for another subreddit that gets very.. difficult. Therapy has been an avenue we’ve taken as a couple and as individuals. It’s helped.
Here is where I feel like I’m finding the edge..
Moving away from home has its challenges. I would surf every week - Can’t surf in the desert. I’m close with my family - Can only see them every so often now. In our marriage, affection has gone from healthy to occasionally. Sex life, same. Understanding the mental demand, stresses and planning for residency applications, wanting to plan for a baby, her family stress, all of those are factors. I’ve been patient and understanding. I do my best.
I enjoy camping. It keeps me sane. During that “limbo” I plan trips for myself or with other family members, which means I drive to another state and have a decent trip for 4-5 days. THIS is my hobby. THIS makes me happy. This happens twice to three times a year. I love my truck. I invest in my truck. I purchased and worked on everything that has been done to my truck. I’m proud of it. THIS makes me happy.
Again, I carry the financial side of things. I also save money for future plans (babies, another move, another house, emergencies etc). Am I wrong for spending money on my truck? Because I’m continually getting guilt tripped for it by my wife. Sounds silly, but when I voice that frustration with my wife, the answer I get is “When are you done?” And my response is “It’s something I continue to enjoy and can afford. What if it’s never done?”
Is it fair to be guilt tripped this way? I mean, I do my part. And then some. I feel like sacrificing and carry the load I do and voicing when it’s tough falls on deaf ears. And all I ask is to be supported while I support her. I’m not drinking and hitting strip clubs, I’m camping. Im working on my truck. It’s my hobby and it makes me happy. A “I’m happy you enjoy your truck and it’s given you a lot of joy.” would send me to the moon. For me, that’s an “I got you, babe.”
Idk, I feel like a tool. Only do what supports her journey but don’t find things that make me happy throughout it, because her journey is the one that is most important…? I don’t know how else to live a life for myself without being guilt tripped, while supporting her 90% of the time.
Am I crazy?! Is there a different perspective I could adopt? I feel like I’m losing my mind and losing who I am. I’m not a tool, I’m a person.
TL;DR Med school is demanding, I love camping and working on truck, wife doesn’t agree with how I spend my free time and money.

Loki Literally has demonstrated the power to control heat and fire more than Thor has been shown as a Storm God. Heat Based Illusions are said to be Loki “Milking his Goats”, when he was running from the other Aesir he invented the Fishing Net then LIT IT ON FIRE to dispose of it
In terms of archeology, blacksmiths would have a stone that helps with controlling heat, and what do you know we found one that has Loki’s face on it
