So I live in the state of FL and plan to get my bike license, gear, and a bike on the road by end of June. I have my class and my gear, now I’m planning where to get my first bikes.
First off, I plan to get used. I currently have a 2016 Scion FRS as my daily, but that’s getting high on miles(112k), and I’d like to keep the miles low till I can get more work done on it. I also plan to used this bike to UberEats/DoorDash/GrubHub etc.
For my first bike, I’d like a 400cc but I only have 2 friends of mine that have been riders for years and they say just get the 600cc. Regardless of cc, my price range/budget is $5k. I think that’s pretty fair.
Now I need help knowing which is my best option for smaller monthly fees, smaller interest rates etc. (Im 27 and seriously hate how school didn’t teach me how this works)
I’m assuming if I got to a dealership to finance, they will probably give me a good bike deal, but I’ll probably eat it when it comes to fees, interest rates, and my credit is good but they’re gonna hit it when calling banks right? I feel like I’d end up paying more than the value, as usual.
As for getting a personal loan from my bank(Bank of America). I assume I come in, give them my bank info, tell them I want a used bike. And they’re probably approve me for the $5k I’m asking for. And with this, they are the only ones who run my credit, and they’ll give me just one interest fee for the loan. And with the loan, I can go to someone on Facebook market selling a bike and say “I have the 5k cash”…and this way. I get the bike, the person has their cash in hand, and I only make one monthly payment to my bank for the personal loan of 5k…right?
Again, I don’t know how banking work but this is how I assume it works.

Me S (f22) and my best friend K (f21) have been friends since 9th grade. we became fast friends and since then we have stuck together. So the problem started when we went to college despite the fact that we were in the same college huge coincidence and had classes in the same building we hardly meet During COVID she broke up with her then boyfriend and had started dating a new guy. I think she cheated but she swore she never did even though she posted about the new guy barely a week after she broke up with her boyfriend of two years. The problem started then. after covid we met up for the first time and when I went her boyfriend was there. I have never meet this guy and she didn't tell me he is coming but was like okay no problem. I can't emphasises how much I don't like this guy first of he was not vaccinated which is fine but the reason he is not vaccinated is not because it could be bad or health reason but because his religion said so. next he has a younger sister and asked him about her he was like she is not allowed to date because she is a girl she needs to come straight home after school she was in class 11 that time. She can't go to friends parties even in restaurants and is not allowed to leave without any male. It would have made sense if we lived in an unsafe place but we don't. When it came to paying the bill I though we will split in three ways because obviously three of us were eating but no we only split it half as she didn't want her boyfriend to pay so I had to pay for his food too. Fastforward three weeks I was at my internship and I got a call from my friend in Singapore to check my bf's snapchat story and I was like it must be funny that she is calling me from Singapore no it was not funny it was rather a video of him pleasuring her. he put that on snapchat my friends was trying to call her but she was not picking up and it had been up for twenty minutes so I called her and she finally picked up after informing she thankfully took it down but I thought she would surely dump him. I mean it takes a lot of steps to post on snapchat she said he was just sending it to himself. I left it there because what more can I say. that is when the real problem started anytime I wanted to hang out he was always their and it was getting really annoying I tried telling her that I just want us to hang out as I wanted to talk about stuff. Her other friends tried making plans but she cancelled everything saying she is busy or sick even when she was posting that she is out with her boyfriend. FFORr 2 years I this was going on I meet with her alone once that was on my birthday but she ditched me early to hang out with and told me to lie to her mom if she called. we were 21 then I said I am not going to lie where you are in school it was fine as we are young and stupid but as adults we need to realise about our own security. she was like fine and left with him.

i am 15, trans, and autistic. i tried going to high school in person but i had to go back to online school in december after the first semester because my mental health got so bad i couldn’t function and only recently have i been starting to get back on my feet. my memory is awful and im tired all the time, ive tried just about everything and doctors don’t know why. i’ve been on lexapro for a year and it’s working pretty well but i still frequently have days where i can barely function. as dumb as this may sound all i do is play video games and masturbate and even with that i can’t even enjoy it because of how SSRI’s make it impossible for me to enjoy anything sexual. i also believe i have ocd as i show most all signs and my mother also has it. which leads to me having awful intrusive thoughts that make me think terrible things about myself and others. i can’t maintain a relationship of any kind because i have a very low social battery, holding conversations online and in person are very difficult for me, and i’m also autistic which i find i mask well but not well enough for most people not to be able to tell there’s something off about me. i’ve lost interest in most of my hobbies and i can’t seem to enjoy anything the way i used to. my siblings are my best friends but one moved and the other works a lot, i spend a lot of time with my parents which i do cherish especially because they’re getting older. but i still feel very lonely, even with my siblings they don’t show interest in my interests the way i do theirs, they’re both big music people but they really don’t seem to show interest when i show them any of my music. i do feel i could be diving too deep into my siblings lack of interest in me, but i also feel like if i was they would acknowledge me more when all three of us hangout. they’ll have full blown conversations and never ask for my input or anything. i’ve talked about this to the one im closer to more than once and they said they’d try to include me more but i don’t feel that they have made that effort. they tend to make empty promises to me a lot and they have for years but i don’t feel there’s a way to address it with them. i wish i had a way to express myself, i know my brother was very similar to me when he was my age and that he did a lot of writing and so did my other sibling, but i don’t feel that i can express myself that way and the same goes for other forms of art. as much as im doing okay right now i know im going to go back down and i want to be better prepared for it in anyway i can be. im happy for any input you may have and even if you don’t thank you for reading this. i’ve never felt able to truly express what i feel so even if i don’t know you it’s good to know someone knows what im feeling.

Hey all. I've (21M) been running for a bit more than 2 years with more serious training in the last 6 months. I have an upcoming 5k in November. My last pb is a poorly paced sub 21 5k from 3 months ago.

2 easy runs (10k @ 6:20)
1 Long run (12-15 @6:30-6:35)
2 workouts rotating between 3 very typical speedwork intervals for 5k(12×400 w 1 min rest @ 3:38 pace/ 6×800 w 1:30 min rest @ 3:41 pace/ 5×1k w 1:45-2 min rest @ 3:45)
Weekly distance: 50k/35miles w 2 rest days
I believe I'm in sub 20 shape rn,even though I haven't done a time trial. My overly ambitious goal for the November race is a sub 18. I'm planning to increase mileage to 40mpw/64k and training days to 6 over the summer, as well as include some much needed threshold/tempo work. I'm also planning to progressively overload the speedwork by decreasing rest and adding reps and slowly start decreasing the avg pace in each workout.
Do you have any suggestions or things I could change in this plan? Sub 18 is a scary goal for me and I'm not sure whether I need very high mileage (like 50mpw) to achieve it or if I should just keep doing what I'm doing. Today we talk about one of the most famous Sim in the Sims Series! I will give you all the facts while I tell all the story about Don and then I will collect the most interesting one and tell them again in the end as a small collection for the people who are already know the basic things of Don.
The Bio of the Household says:
"Who is Don Lothario? Is his engagement to Cassandra Goth genuine? And what about the rumor that her mother, Bella, was last seen scaling the deck of his condo?"
Don seems to be on first glance a mysterious Sim. He is engaged to Cassandra and it's already questioning the stability of this Relationship. Also the mother of Cassandra Bella is dissapeared on his condo. This brings up questions!
The Household only contains Don and his Bio says:
"So many ladies, so little time. When Don isn't thinking about dating, he's sleeping."
That shows that he is only interested into dating and women. He seems to be an attractive guy and do not have much other plans in his life.
If you load in the household for the first time, you'll be greated with a MESSY home, dirty appliances and trash on the floor. Don will roll Wants to Woo-Hoo with Dina Caliente and her Sister Nina Caliente, inviting Dina over and Woo-Hoo with 3 Different Sims. Fun Fact: If you use the telescope on the roof of his condo at day to spy on his neighbors. Dina will always be the Sim that he spys on and she will come over to slap you. This is might be interesting for story because you could lit the flame before it even starts to ignite.

Don got 1 Point in Sloppy, 7 in Outgoing and 8 in Active. He is also fit. He seems to be an athletic guy but is also pretty messy with his sloppiness. Interestingly he works in the Medicine Career as an Intern (LvL4) and got 3 Points in Mechanic, 2 Points in Logic and 4 Points in Cleaning. It's weird he knows a bit about cleaning but do not clean. Maybe the devs wants to give us the hint to hire Kaylynn the Maid?
Don got high interests in Sports, Fashion, Animals and Weather. He dislikes Culture, School, Paranormal and Sci-Fi. His interests seem to be normal and hinting that he might be more the outdoor guy and less a couch potato.
His Family Tree is pretty simple and nothing special. His Grandparents from the father side (Carmelo and Mama Lothario) are both Romance Sims like him. Otherwise everything seems to be normal.
His memories shows his first Kiss was the Nina Caliente in his Teen age. After he aged up his parents died quiet immadietly. Then he had his first kiss with Dina and fell in love with Nina. Now it gets interesting. Bella rejected him for a make out and this was the same night where she disappeared! Now it gets more interesting. So, I’ve always wondered if I’ve been SA as a child because I never wanted people to touch me I would always be very paranoid about being SA since a young girl and I’d have this recurring dreams in my preschool years about these female teachers taking me into a closet and I just remember feeling sensations in my private areas. Anyways, fast forward high school. I met a cute guy at work, he was so sweet to me and noticed me first which was a huge deal to 16yr old me bc I was always very insecure. He turned out to be 19 I think going into his junior year of college (he turned 19 July, met him in June of 2019). Anyways I would be 17 in September so to me this was no big deal. We would eat lunch tg and he eventually told me he liked me. It didn’t go anywhere and we hung out one time but nothing happened. He ended up ghosting me. He was so sweet and kind and he didn’t do anything, but I wondered if it could’ve been bad?? Or am I paranoid.
The next instance…a guy that had been interested in me for a while. I felt he was trouble so I tried to avoid him but he ended up asking me to prom (I was 16 and he was 18/19?he has been held back). After the guy above broke my young heart, I agreed to hang out with this guy alone. I had a couple times before, with and without friends. I also remember one time when I was drunk at my friends grad party, I flirted with him a lot and I was like cuddling him I think? Anyways, on this day he had alcohol and I thought this was super cool, I was 17 and unable to get my own so. I’m guessing he was 20 at this point, not sure how he got the liquor. Maybe it was his brother? Anyways I got super drunk. He didn’t because he had to drive me home. Next thing I know, I’m lying on his bed and he starts touching me…like down there and also my boobs. I kind of just froze. I was thinking of so many different scenarios and also I was thinking I didn’t want to feel him doing that. He had tried to kiss me earlier but I didn’t respond to it I didn’t kiss him bc I didn’t want to do anything like that, I was a virgin still. I didn’t respond to his touching me. And then I blurted out, I don’t know when but I just did, I said “my mom will get mad if I’m not home soon). He took me home and I blocked him. Never talked to him again. But I feel it is my fault..I led him on I feel. Yet some part of me wonders if it wasn’t? Doesn’t help my ex blamed me for this. My ex would also often push my sexual boundaries and threatened to exploit me for breaking up with him.

I made it to the top of two high places and was strongly considering jumping. I sat at one place a while and then music was playing and some people were there. It’s weird how easy it seemed until I considered 1) what would happen if I survived and ended up unable to keep trying to end it or unable to really do much other than be kept alive by machines and other people… 2) I felt bad for the bystanders and didn’t want to ruin their day 3) the guilt/shame over not leaving a note for the family and friends who have done their best to support me even after my first unsuccessful attempt this year. I didn’t leave any note the first time and my affairs are far from being in order. So I came back home but I told absolutely nobody what had happened or where I’d been. I think I may never tell them because they don’t want to hear more of my complaining about how unbearable life is since I have privileges I just have crippling anxiety and health issues and no real sense of self or motivation left.
Anyways does anyone else have an experience of failing at a first attempt and currently considering another one but being too wrapped up in all the fears and confusions about it? I’m safe at home rn so dw if I don’t post for a while I’m not planning to hurt myself today.
