As you all may know already, there has been quite a bit of "drama" in the sonny angel community lately, and its all due to these 4 girls, sonnyangelmama (Ana), kilo.flow, gabysfunkyvibes, and laurenindreamland. I know there are already a few Reddit threads about this but this is just an overall one to compile the majority of the story + I saw some people who were confused in the other threads about what happened. (The photos provided are related to the most recent updates, which I will address later on in the message, I know this is a long thread but just bear with me! This is just to cover the whole situation + some of my opinion on it and its late and I have free time LOL)
It all started when these 3 artists (the first 3 names mentioned) got emails from Dreams telling them to take down their Sonny Angel/Smiski related products due to copyright infringement. Ana and Kilo got emails whereas Gaby got a message on Etsy. At first, Gaby didn't believe it since it was a message on Etsy and seemed unprofessional, and her listings ended up getting taken down. These 3 artists then proceeded to post about it on their Instagrams, completely stunned that Dreams would threaten them for copyright infringement... (and lets be honest, I'm not sure why as their art is either traced or just an exact copy of sonny angels, and Kilo especially is using a direct mold of a sonny angel to create her product, which is all meant for sale and profit and not personal use, without the permission of the company) but, when they posted about it they said Dreams was a big business praying on the small businesses and that they were wrong to call for a cease and desist, which resulted in MANY people going straight to their Instagram page and harassing them in the comments and completely slandering them. Which I get this is how some of them make an income from this, but you can't really be surprised when you're using their models/designs and calling it sonny angels/smiskis. Like you wouldn't be able to create your own Hello Kitty sticker design with the base drawing of Hello Kitty and then call it "Hello Kitty ____ sticker" because of copyright... Anyways, on the side, Ana was DMing Dreams to get answers and they ended up responding to her later on, saying that they did not send those emails and that someone had been trying to report their accounts since February but didn't take any action.
After finding that out, Ana posted on her story that she had important information and to join her live, to which she said Dreams said it wasn't them, but instead trolls. Ana completely name dropped two girls, Nathalie and Lupe. Ana is quite known for being a bully, and in her live people were getting all riled up, saying to sue Nathalie, and everyone was saying to unfollow her and comment on her posts (but she had already limited comments) and people kept @'ing them in the live calling them out, and when people were asking how she knows it was them, Ana didn't really give any concrete evidence, other than saying that her and Nathalie had beef in the past so this is Nathalie's way of being a hater and trying to take her down. Which if you saw the live, Ana's behavior was quite worrisome knowing that she's a grown woman, and a mother. Encouraging bullying and harassment is just insane to me, and she just kept name dropping them with no basis. IIRC, Kilo's brother, Ridge, was also saying in the live that him and Kilo have the time and money, and would be pursuing legal action. Also while this was happening, Ridge dm'ed Lupe accusing her of sending the emails, and when Lupe asked for proof, he did not provide any and said that his lawyers said he can't disclose it, and that he shouldn't even be talking to her but he wanted to "giver her a chance." After the live ended, the 3 artists posted numerous photos, showing that Dreams did not do it but it was internet trolls. Some people asked for a name drop in the comments, and Ana said that they didn't have the evidence to find out the culprits (Which I heard she deleted her comment, I can't find the screenshot of what she said but it's in one of the other threads I believe) and Gaby said that they don't care to find the culprits because they have better things to do, but they said that after Ana literally name dropped these girl's names so confidently in the live? I also heard that Ana said they knew it was her because she got the IP address, but that is literally not how that works... One of the other names I mentioned in the beginning was Lauren, and here is how she plays a part in this. She was also fueling the fire with these 3 main girls, by also name dropping in the live and proceeding to post TONS of memes, dissing the girls, and even mentioning their names in one of them, but censoring it with asterisks, which is giving bully/mean girl behavior... and I'm sorry but these are all grown women who are 26 or around that age. Sort it out in the DMs, there does not need to be all this drama online. When I first started collecting, I was raving to my friends and family about how sweet the community is, and I was so excited because I made so many new friends and I was able to help with my social anxiety by going to meetups and meeting new people, but now I don't think I can even say the community is so sweet anymore... There's always drama every week, whether that be on the Discord server or other social media apps.
Now going onto the current situation, Kilo got a cease and desist letter in the mail from Dreams, asking her to take down her stuff due to copyright, and also provided proof of her products (which are quite literally molds of sonny angels) and her brand name was also "Partly Sonny Angel" You can not be surprised that you are getting this letter when Sonny Angel is in your brand name and its a direct copy of their molds. Kilo is also accusing Dreams of stealing her designs because they're dropping a clear fan, and in my opinion, clear figurines are not new + they have had prototypes of glow in the dark figurines which are somewhat translucent/clear, so I don't think clear things (such as the candy store series shorts) aren't a new concept. I'm not sure why the people in Kilo's comments are defending her, and they're even dragging someone who commented that legally, this is copyright and they were genuinely just curious about the situation, and people instantly started attacking that person and saying they're a hateop. Kilo also has been trying to make a point that Sonny Angels are based off of Kewpie babies, which is true, they are INSPIRED from them, but they are not an EXACT copy of them, Kilo's products are LITERALLY MADE FROM SONNY ANGEL MOLDS there is no mistake in that, her mold is from sonny angel and her brand was partly sonny angels. In a legal view, Dreams has all the evidence against her and I don't see how Kilo thinks she would win this case, as I see her in the comments of her post saying she's going to fight back and she won't give up. Now regarding to the images, the first image is the letter she received. The second one are some of her creations, including her brand name and its clear to see its an exact copy of the angels. Images 4-5 are her telling people that Sonny Angel stole the kewpie design, which is just not true at all....
Now regarding image 6, this is a screenshot of a DM with Ana (this is not my Dm with her, it was sent to me) The person was saying that Ana needs to apologize to the two accused girls publicly, as she has not said anything about the situation at all (as well as Kilo and Gaby, they have only talked about the C&D and items getting taken down on Etsy) but none of them have ever addressed how they wrongly accused these girls and haven't apologized. Ana says that she would love to talk to them if they contacted her or unblocked her, but why is that their responsibility? Why should they have to reach out to her for an apology that is rightly owed to them? If she really was sincere about her apology, then she would've found a way to reach out to them or just public apologized, 100% there would be people who forwarded it to them, which could then result in them unblocking and talking it out. She's just looking for excuses to not apologize, and I think a lot of people know Ana has always been a bully, and she hated on that girl with an army and also told people to shut up about Palestine. The only thing Ana has addressed is reposting Kilo's post, nothing else. Only Lauren has addressed the situation and public apologized to the girl, although it didn't seem like the most sincere apology, and she has continued to defend this 3 artists while they say nothing on the situation, kind of crazy to me that they would allow Lauren to get dragged while she tries to defend them. And if you're reading this Lauren, Ana, Kilo, or Gaby, then I hope you learn from this and apologize to those girls sincerely, and also realize that in the legal world you are also in the wrong here. (Also, if you did make It this far, thank you for reading! I know it's super long, I got carried away, but if I did miss out on anything then please add it in the comments!)

All her things are private, so are mine. So I can't see anyway. It just kind of bugs me seeing her in my block list and its an easy temptation to click. If I unblocked her I wouldn't look her up (nothing to see anyway).
She doesn't care about me clearly and I've moved on. It was mutual but bad ending. I started it, questioned her commitment and she left but I was done with it anyway
So 5 months later I feel more myself now. I want to remove the temptation to see her in block list and I don't even think she will know I've unblocked anyway she doesn't care.
Or maybe I just leave it. She was a narcissist (not using that word lightly) punished me and did some crappy shit to me and I didn't like the idea of her looking at my private account, even if it was just my username and picture.
Yeah on second thoughts I'm just going to keep her blocked. I can't be arsed thinking about her.

The Parliamentary Defense Committee held a meeting on Friday to discuss a new system. Context in April 12 news. Several issues were uncovered during the 2020 war: many notices were sent out to people who did not reside in Armenia, while in other instances they were unable to reach out to people located in Armenia. The government has decided to create an automated system for the defense ministry to "know the location" of potential recipients. Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan held a 4-hour-long meeting in Kazakhstan

The U.S. State Department welcomed the meeting in Kazakhstan, describing the AM-AZ peace process developments of recent weeks as "exciting".

Day 2 of former regime-led protests & road closures

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan urged his followers to group up and "paralyze" the whole country to force Pashinyan's removal. Together with ARF MPs and its "youth wing" activists, he visited several universities and urged students to join. Some did, others did not. After a claim that the Yerevan State University was "empty", Armenpress sent a crew of reporters and found the claim to be false. Videos were uploaded showing professors urging the activists to stop disrupting the classes. Polytechnik spokeswoman said the students did not join the protests and that the protesters did not attempt to enter the campus.

A group of protesters shut down the Meghri-Yerevan road in Vayots Dzor. A participant was arrested after allegedly punching a police officer in the head after being told to open the road.
12 participants were arrested in various locations. Two of them, with lengthy rap sheets, allegedly possessed knives. The others were arrested for not following police orders.
There were reportedly fewer people in Republic Square today. As of 7:20 pm, the same organization that counted 31,700 yesterday spotted only 11,300 today. That's for "trend". The peak number is expected to be higher.

There will be no rally tomorrow. The organizers intend to redraw their plans. They want to involve "expert groups" [is that Ishkhan Saghatelyan's list of 70 or so experts he couldn't use in 2022?] and also come up with concrete plans on border delimitation. The next meeting is at 6 o'clock Sunday.
In other news. The California-based Western Diocese Armenian Church will pray for the Armenian government to stay strong and for Armenia to be resilient. Context: President Khachaturyan visited the church during his US trip. They prayed together. "Consider this your home." In turn, the President reassured that the Armenian government has no problem with the Armenian Apostolic Church as an institution. Sony created the region blocked list before walking back their PSN link mandate. This behavior in indicative of the fact that Sony has NO INTENT in actually walking back that decision. While Arrowhead is fighting tooth and nail with Sony about getting them unblocked, Sony has taken actions to hurt the devs MORE by blocking more regions. Using a VPN goes against PSN TOS and will auto-ban the account you're trying to create.
We as a community, not as Helldivers but as gamers, need to hold Sony responsible for the decision to restrict players after they've spend money on their products.

Yesterday I blocked someone who had sent me a friend request and then I posted a public story. I checked my viewers today and they were on there!!!! I clicked their name and it gave me the option to UNBLOCK and they appeared on my block list so how TF were they able to see my story?!!!

Wifi adapter not recognised ubuntu 20.04 intel wifi 6 ax203

Hello everyone, I recently received a gift from my parents. It's the Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G6 IRL. I would like to do some ROS projects on it, but the wifi adapter does not work (Intel WiFi 6 AX203). I tried upgrading to version 22.04, and the wifi adapter worked on it. However, I encountered issues running ROS, so I had to revert back to Ubuntu 20.04.

Here are a few things that I have tried

I haven’t blocked or unblocked any users in 3-4 months, but the list of blocked users has shuffled (changed order). Before it was in order of the time you’ve blocked someone, but now it is random.
Why did this happen?

My ex boyfriend has a Facebook account. I had him blocked when we broke up and then I moved away two years later. I unblocked him recently and found out that my photos are still on his public profile, including of us, kissing on his profile pic and cover photo. It shows his account hasn’t been active since 2023. At least no public posts. I can’t reach him at his old number- generic voicemail. I left a message, but I don’t even know if it’s still his phone. (Which is the same number he has publicly listed on his page too)
What can I do? I don’t want my pictures all open like that. I assumed he would’ve deleted them when we broke up three years ago! I tried to report it but it doesn’t fall under any categories!

I recently fell for a duplicate listing because I thought it was different sizes the seller listed. Upon purchase seller blocked me. Contacted grailed they just told me to wait on paypal. I sent the seller via PayPal e check. Also, grailed took no action to take down the listings to prevent other buyers from falling into the same trap as I did. 6 Days since I was sextorted. I don’t know if they’ve given up or are continuing to pursue me but I’ve deactivated all Meta related apps and blocked them anywhere else. What I need to understand is how they work in hopes to protect myself in the future and how to avoid them from finding me. Below is my situation:

1. Matched Hinge, decent back and forth, I asked for socials - didn’t give insta but went to snap
   
2. Snapchat; talked back and forth a little here and there - 4 days later my idiot self made the dumb mistake of sending pics after “she” sent many before
   
3. I was then asked to meet up for a date and “call me let’s setup a date”. At this point I was not suspicious as it seemed genuine to follow-up. They asked for WhatsApp. I don’t have WhatsApp and don’t like it linked to my #. However, I made a google voice # just to be safe and registered with that (all on my phone fyi). I sent a message, tried calling, got disconnected and WhatsApp banned my account instantly.
   
4. This was suspicious and I told “her” that it didn’t go through and that I got banned, so then I got a SMS on my google voice #. And then instantly they sent me all the videos/photos that I had sent recorded on their end and began the sextortion. At this point I was freaking out, I immediately blocked them on Snap and Hinge. Uninstalled WhatsApp. And then I continued getting messages on my Google Voice SMS. I didn’t block them here, I didn’t respond at ALL on any platforms. I just kept it in case I needed proof and SMS is generally not interactive in any way.
   
5. After this, they made an instagram acct with one of my photos and posted some (thank god not all) photos and tagged some ppl from my friends list on instagram. I reported and blocked this acct. They made a second one, I reported and blocked. They made one on Facebook and started commenting on my recent posts as well as messaging ppl on my friends list trying to either befriend or share photos. I blocked the acct but I forgot to report it in the panic (idk if it’s up or not but I unblocked to see if I can get to their profile to report but I couldn’t so maybe gone?)
   
6. I also received a FB messenger notification saying the usual “you want me to stop? Just tell me” etc. I had my Instagram PRIVATE before this. I was dumb enough to have FB public. Since then I updated everything to private, and then deactivated. I’ve occasionally reactivated to check for any notifications/messages. Last time I checked was 3 days ago. No new msgs since the first 2 accounts on instagram and 1 on facebook.
   

Question 1: Massive embarrassment aside, would I be safe to think that they’ll stop pursuing me? I’ve also updated my instagram username. But they did send me screenshots of my friends list. So will they try to find them and still attempt sextortion?
Question 2: HOW the hell did they find my instagram and facebook? Aside from my first name (which is VERY common), the usernames on Snap and Meta apps aren’t even the same?? I never gave my real number, and I didn’t give my address? This is what’s confusing the hell out of me because there is NO way in hell they just “searched” me up because friends I WANT to add me have trouble finding me.
Question 3: Will changing my Instagram username and making FB private be sufficient to not have a repeat incident? Or is it better to remove accounts and restart from scratch?
My heart literally drops when I get unknown callers and crap now, ugh I hate this and I know it’s partially my fault for even sending them but just want to move past it and make the most out of this failure in maintaining privacy moving forward. My main goal is to make sure they can’t come back and restart.

I (F18) think my best friend (M17) is still in love with me. There will be three main people in this story, including me. My best friend, whom I will call Jason (M17) (not the real name for privacy), and my other best friend, who we will call Ana (F18) (also not real name). I will try to provide many details without giving too much away. This all started last year when Jason was with another girl. I had no idea he was dating her until after they broke up. This was also because Ana told me that Jason would sigh and shake his head whenever I would leave the room. He would look at Ana and say, "I just can't believe OP's taste in men." which, of course, Ana agreed to some degree, and he would list off everything I do want in a guy now, almost as if he was suggesting he would be a perfect match. I have no problems with him liking me since I only see him as a friend, and he knows I see nothing more as long as it doesn’t affect our friendship. I was okay with it, but now I have this terrible taste when it comes to him because it scared me how when he was lecturing me, he kept kicking Ana out of her room because she was making me laugh, but Ana knew that in serious situations that when I need to cope I need to laugh. He kept talking about how I was laughing and that it was serious but I don't see it as very serious to follow this guy as I did not intend to get back to him. But whoever reads this thank you for listening.

So many of the complaints that we have about weapon balance, block/unblock, match making, friends lists, PSN, enemy characteristics, shitty environments, etc., would have likely been addressed by now if the devs and CEO actually played this game regularly.
Remember halo 3? You’d see the flaming skulls in game and you’d know, that’s a dev, they’re an active member of our community and they’re playing the same game that we are playing. They knew a gun was too powerful or too weak because they had to make tough choices on the battlefield every single day, because they played every single day. We could even look up to see how many games they had played and what their KD was, just like any other player.
This game would get so much better if the top brass mandated that their team play a few hours a week at each difficulty level and slowly test most of the weapons/strategems as they do so. They’d feel the frustrations we feel and they’d know how to fix it.

I know there's not really a platform for this anymore but I love this game and brewing has always been my favorite thing to do in it. I'm going to save you the internet chef life story so let's get on with it. Excuse me if any of these ideas are not so original. I don't actually play this game that much anymore and I don't check meta lists.

The typical problem with lillia/spriteling decks is that they lack keywords. The stats are great, but if you can't get around your opponents blockers they're quite worthless. I was really sleeping on sprite dance when the expansion first dropped, but it's one of your best ways to get damage through. Going wide and pivoting your spirits to an unblocked unit can catch your opponents off guard real fast.
Swain/Illaoi

This deck seems real odd at first, but there is a lot of value to going tall and interaction right now, and the tentacle package is great with that. You can level illaoi and swain super fast (watchful idols are an extremely effective way to level swain), and the sound/visual effects are peak 👌. You also get to abuse flock in standard.
Taric/Morgana Rally

This deck actually surprised me. I was mostly just messing around and it just kept popping off. Maybe I got lucky. It can disrupt your opponents game plan by just pushing a lot of damage while you build up for sion on 7 with the late game harrowing pop off.
I hope at least a few of you guys can appreciate 1 or 2 of these as much as I have. I actually think this rotation is great. Hopefully, we can have some community tournies in the future. If we can't hope on balance changes to settle things for us, then maybe we can just van certain cards from tournies (like a certain 2 cost story from shurima cough cough.) Hello, fellow spikes, I'm back to talk about everyone's favorite Standard archetype, Five Color Legends. As always, summoning u/scvirnay, and all the others who have contributed to the development and growth of this amazing deck over the last several months. I'll edit in links to others' posts when I'm done typing this out, as I'm 4 or 5 beers deep and can't be bothered to back out and search them up right now.
Well, it's been a long road full of rewards and setbacks since our boy posted this gem way back when. Since my last post, I won an RCQ with Legends (paper list here: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/6153582#paper) and have made top 25-50 easily on Arena ladder whenever I have played it consistently. I run various versions of the deck, based on my feelings about the meta and how I want to play, and I want to do a deep dive into the card choices here. I've seen more 5c Legends in the last week since the PT than in the last 6 months combined. Lots of folks are experimenting with the archetype, and I hope my experience will benefit those working it out.
First, let's examine what I consider to be the core, almost non-negotiable cards in 5c Legends. (Current list here: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/6372629#paper)
[[Jodah, the Unifier]] is simply the best lord in Standard, if not the game. Nothing gets you the amazing game-winning effect that Jodah does. I once played a paper match against some poor guy who just looked across the table and sighed, "Everything is so big," before scooping. What more can we say? 4 of.
[[Gwenna, Eyes of Gaea]] is the mana dork of choice. She's more like a mana Stacy, really, when she untaps and lets us cast a 3 mana legend on 4 after having put Jodah on board, triggering a cascade into another 1 or 2 mana legend to really seal the deal. Sadly, like many of our cards, she dies ignominiously to [[Cut Down]], but we play to win, unlike those so-called 'interactive' lily-livers. 4 of.
[[Thalia, Guardian of Thraben]]. You know her, you love her. Maybe not as much as that one guy (you know who I mean,) but she is the sticky glue that the scaredy pants midrange players get stuck in while we slam Jodah and Djeru. She shuts down the control players, the RDW, the prowess monkeys, all of it. We don't need instant and sorceries, because our creature quality is simply leagues above anything anyone else can play. 3 of, can consider another in the board.
[[Hajar, Loyal Bodyguard]]. I'm not gay, but if I was, Hajar would be the man for me. Not only does he play Captain Save-A-Hoe, he actually buffs our creatures for that little extra damage we need for a kill, or to surprise stomp that blocker Opp was so confident in. 3 of.
[[Skrelv, Defector Mite]]. Everyone's favorite Phyrexian, Bug Lady GF notwithstanding. We don't care about the toxic, but we love making lethal unblockable, or shutting down Opp's [[Go For the Throat]] just as they think they've found an answer to our onslaught. 3 of. 2 if you're brave and know what you're doing.
[[Djeru and Hazoret]]. These two and their shenanigans cannot be underestimated. So often slamming the board hasty and vigilant, digging for another legendary to cement the win, or with cards in hand allowing us to untap Gwenna and flood the board, this card is second only to Jodah as the main attraction of this deck. I run 3 main and 1 in the board for Domain and Control matchups. Nothing says fuck your Sunfall like hasty D&H for lethal. 10/10.
[[Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire]] and [[Boseiju, Who Endures]]. Non-creature spells in the main are for plebes with nervous dispositions. We only bring those out of the board when particular threats are identified, and then only sparingly for a targeted response to the degeneracy Opp displays. 2-3 copies of each of these marvelous channel lands provide us with all the interaction we generally need. Every playstyle is different and every player's tolerance for dead cards likewise. Run a balance of these and basics based on your own disposition. Pretty soon we won't be able to run them at all, so maybe we should get used to life without them, idk.
From here, everything is subjective in my opinion. Here are some cards I run, and some I don't, and my reasoning behind those decisions:
[Inti, Seneschal of the Sun]]. I love this card, and it's in almost all of my builds, but I may just be partial to it. The filtering is great, the counters are great, but it's also not the best turn 2 play. Its ability to overcome the hordes of boros convoke et al when it comes time to finish the game cannot be overlooked. I usually run 3, but it's not core to the identity of legends imo, and you may consider other options.
[[Dennick, Pious Apprentice]] is a card I have gone back and forth on many times, but its ability to gain life, partially shut down graveyard shenanigans, and recur as a flier that makes clues has persuaded me to include it as a one of at least in nearly every build. I've run as many as 3 in the 75, depending on what I'm seeing in the meta.
[[Samut, Vizier of Nakhtamun]], long overlooked, but seeing play in many gruul builds, is one of my favorite cards to run. While it dies to cut down, a vigilant hasty first striker that draws cards for 3 cannot be overlooked. (Speaking of cut down, I wish WOTC would print Fatal Push into standard so I could dodge it with all these 3 drops. I thought that was gonna work in pioneer but it didn't. Sad.) This card is dynamite against boros convoke as both an offensive and defensive threat. It shines against golgari, especially if we can pump it with an Inti. It synergies beautifully with Anim Pakal and Adeline. I love it, I just wish it wasn't another 3 drop that dies to cut down. Still, I think it's worth a look for your build.
[[Anim Pakal]]. This card is simultaneously so good and so fragile, and it's a huge priority target for removal. At 3 mana, a hugely overcrowded slot in Legends already, I just can't decide to love it or hate it. When I pump it with Halana and Alena, or when it somehow dodges Cut Down for the two whole stinking turns it usually takes to outgrow that hateful card, I love it. When I spend three mana for a 1/2 that can't block shit and it dies the turn it comes out I get big sad. But then the next game I get it swinging with Samut and draw 3 cards into UW control and I'm in love again. TL:DR: it needs to be in your arsenal, but it's a meta call, and a feel choice.
[[Adeline, Resplendent Cathar]] is Anim Pakal but different. Draws cards with Samut, gets out of control, but it doesn't usually die to cut down, it can block, and it's vigilant. It always pulls the removal if they have it, too, so if you untap with it, you're good til next turn. I've been as high as 3-of, and also left it out.
[[Jirina, Dauntless General]], like Hajar, can rescue our damsels and gentlemen in distress, but more importantly, she exiles graveyards. Not only that, but she makes Humans hexproof. In UW control and Domain matchups, I frequently swap her in for Hajar to dodge [Leyline Binding]], [[March of Swirling Mist]], etc. Auto-include post-board for Temur and Jund Analyst, as well as Roots, Looting Crime, Golgari-I-Put-Down-Atraxa-On-Three, etc. Imo she is a 3-of in the 75 in the current meta.
[[Halana and Alena, Partners]]. Maaaaaaan. When this card is good its so good. But if you hate 3 drops dying to Cut Down, do I have a fun challenge for you. I want this card to work, and sometimes it Works. I currently run it as a 1-of, mostly to dissuade Bats, but also for the rare occasion I can pump Anim Pakal. Also hilarious to make a 16/16 hasty Jodah. Early versions of 5c Legends ran 3, and I can see that working for some people, but I've had this card dead in hand or dead to Cut Down off a Raffine Connive before it could intercept the Bat it was meant for too many times to love it like I want to.
[[Kellan, the Kid]] is the new Kid on the block, and I have been running it as a 2-of. The life gain is super relevant against aggro decks like Boros and RDW. Occasionally I actually have a card in hand when my Jodah or Djeru triggers resolve. The flying is huge against Dimir and Esper. It doesn't die to Cut Down. Worth considering even as a 3-of. Definitely an auto-include as a 1-of imo.
[[Katilda, Dawnheart Prime]] is a card I have messed around with quite a bit. In 24-land variants, I think she can be dynamite. She usually just dies to removal, but so does anything you might play on 2 (except my boy Hajar who DOESN'T DIE TO CUT DOWN).] The real issue, and I'll just include them here, is the same as the one with [[Inga and Esika]] and [[Relic of Legends]], which is that they make you greedy. You CAN cast every creature in your hand, and tap all your mana and all your creatures on the board and then die to Sunfall or Opp removing your 1 or 2 blockers. At the end of the day, I think these cards are too greedy in the 5c Legends shell. Relic works in 4c because it's durdly and plays Gurk, and recycles channel lands and whatever. That's not our game. Our game is RESPONSIBLY slamming big mana, big power creatures for early wins, often. And to those of you who have run into me on the ladder and whipped me with your greedy mana dork decks, congrats. Please let me know if my assessment is wrong and you actually keep the dream alive long enough against Domain and Azorius to rank up.
[[Harbin, Vanguard Aviator]] is an interesting card in terms of value and position in the meta. I've played with him quite a bit, and I find him very effective against the many decks that play fliers as their primary creature type. Legends runs lots of Soldiers, but I've never gotten the combat trigger to go. I think this card is worth having in the arsenal, but I'm not running it at the moment.
[[Honest Rutstein]] is a real superstar. Currently I'm only running as a 1-of, but I've run as many as 3. Recursion combined with discount is great. Dies to Cut Down like every other damn card in the deck. Seriously, can we ban this stupid card already? Sorry. Anyway, I love it, play with it, build your whole deck around it if you want. Dynamite card.
[[Goddric, Cloaked Reveler]] is a card I have run as a 3-of, and also as a board option. Gwenna->Jodah->Goddric is insane. At least an 8/8 in the air, hasty, and often bigger. If you have [[Feldon, Ronom Excavator]] in the deck, you have the potential for the biggest turn 4 in Standard, at 34-36 damage swinging. This is the card for the true Aggro aficionado. Feldon just means you're a madlad. Go on with your bad self, madlad.
[[Sigard, Champion of Light]] is a card I have not played with, but just crafted. Looks amazing. Not a human, but the colors are easy. Great effects. Not 5 power so doesn't trigger Gwenna. We will see.
[[Sigarda, Font of Blessings]] is too cute imo. Automatic target for removal. Not a human. Doesn't trigger Gwenna. I just don't like 4 drops very much because the Gwenna->Jodah math om turn 4 doesn't work out. Still, it makes all your other stuff hexproof if you resolve it. I'd just rather be resolving a 3-drop off the Gwenna->Jodah hit. I think 4-drops are lackluster in this archetype.
MANA BASE
[[Secluded Courtyard]], [[Cavern of Souls]], and [[Plaza of Heroes]] are the core of this deck. Ironically, the mana base is what makes the deck possible, and also its greatest handicap. I run 2 Boseiju, 2 Eiganjo, 1 each Plains and Forest, and the rest pain lands. Lots of people like fast lands or even run a triome or two. My view is that I always want untapped mana. Gwenna into Jodah is useless if I have a 3-drop and play a tap land. Thanks, guess I'll just die now. I'd rather die tapping [[Battlefield Foege]] for a white to cast Djeru and Hazoret.
SIDEBOARD
I'm a big fan of lifelink in the board. Dennick, Kellan, whatever. [[Animist's Might]] is good. [[Pick Your Poison]] is a 2 or 3-of. [[Surge of Salvation]] is a good option. [[Smuggler's Surprise]] is Heroic intervention with upscaling options. Jirina is a must-have in the board with all the dumb graveyard stuff happening.
[[Tomik, Wielder of Law]] is great against go-wide, Esper, Dimir, etc, and doesn't die to Cut Down, which is dynamite. [[Ertai Resurrected]] is a 3-of in my board for Domain and Control variants to combat board wipes and Atraxa, Herd Migration, etc.
I don't like [[Temporary Lockdown]] or Brotherhood's End]] because of the dual pips. I don't really like non-creature spells in general, honestly, but I accept that sometimes we need them, and that Thalia is probably dead to Cut Down anyway. I take solace in the fact that it cost them 2 mana to do it.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Skrelv->Hajar or Thalia->Gwenna->Jodah->any 3-drop is one of the best sequences in magic. Following that up post-Sunfall with a hasty Djeru and Hazoret for lethal is why Richard Garfield invented this game. Everyone is sad that WOTC has nearly ruined competitive magic in favor of Commander nonsense. Playing Legends is our way of taking this game back with the cards they tried to destroy it with. So, I have been playing MTG for a couple years now and I have taught a handful of people how to play. The biggest hurdle when it comes to teaching/playing with new players is finding a deck that is simple to teach and simple to use. On the flip side, using your own complicated deck can be frustrating to play against. I had this thought when I was fairly inebriated and decided to build a collection of decks to teach/play with new players that have minimal complexity, allow for upgrades, and can generally hold their own at a regular table.

My ex hates posting pictures whether it's an insta story or a post. At one point in our relationship I discussed with him that I'd like to be posted once in a while because most of his friends/followers don't know that he had a gf. So to compromise, he made a different ig account full of our pictures (which he referred as "his pov").
Fast forward to our break-up, he told me he would block me in all social media accounts because he doesn't want me to contact him - which btw he didn't block me at all. I called him after 4 days because I couldn't get over how he blindsided me and couldn't give me a proper explanation for the BU; he answered the call yet proceeded to say "I forgot to block you here". So he blocked me in ig and deleted(?) our couples account.
A week later, I went to check my socmed, and all his accounts (other than ig) are still "friends" and "following" with my account. With strong will, I blocked all his accounts myself. As I thought I'm finally free from connection, I lost my access to my designs in Canva because he logged me off (we shared an account). He didn't warn me at all, he even told me I could take my time using it when he broke up with me because he understood how important the files were to me. So I had to contact him to retrieve the designs. I had to be in contact with him for 4 days begging for my designs. Good thing it didn't get messy, and I was able to have all the files - thus I can finally say I am free.
It has been a month now since the break-up, I went to ig to search an account til I saw his account and the couple's account in the list. I am truly confused with what's happening. Can someone decipher what's going on in his head? He is the dumper, and all his actions were very passive, and now he unblocked me and revived the account. Help me understand this.

Okay so 4 years ago I met (we'll call her June) June on a video game we both played. It was a small game so a small community where everyone knew each other. At first i didn't like her all to much but somehow we ended up in a trio with another girl (we'll call her May) May and all 3 of us became super close. So myself May and June all sort of left this community/game together and started playing a different online game. The 3 of us had a group chat on discord where we sent each other semi nudes. Over the bra, girl stuff. I noticed that June's photos were.. too hot. Like insta hot. Very thick curvy and tanned skin. I automatically assumed she was cat fishing us but never brought it up.
Fast forward May comes forward with this story that when she went to meet up with her online boyfriend he raped her. Now I don't wanna get into this because her story and her ex's stories are very different and May didn't think she was raped until this weird boy who was obsessed with her convinced her that she was raped. May had told me before she thought she was raped that she wasn't sexually attracted to him and wasn't in the mood to have sex when he was but had sex with him anyways. And when she told me the story at no point did she say that he forced himself on her or anything like that. So it's kind of a gray area and it's not really the main focus to the story right now. The reason why this part of the story is important is because through all of this June never said anything about her being raped previously before. So fast forward from this May kind of leaves a friend group for some shady shit that she did to me. And June had my back through all of it. So now it was just me and her and we got very very close.
Some things to know though that during the 4 years that I've been friends with June she's always online. If she isn't on the computer playing the game that we play she is sleeping. She works a small part-time job at her father's shop and she only works 4 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Any other time she is always on the computer. Now I would believe her on certain things if I didn't already know how catfishers are and how they lie about multiple things. So when she's always on the computer playing the game yet she tells me that she's going out and drinking and getting high and fucking countless people. It just doesn't add up cuz where is the social life if you're always on the computer? So anyways June starts dating this guy (we'll call him Joe) Joe. Joe and June have a very toxic relationship on and off always fighting him being super manipulated towards her and her also lying to him and basically sending him catfish nudes and refusing to ever FaceTime claiming that her camera is broken. When Joe said to use her brother's phone just to call her super quick she says that she's not going to do all that because that's his phone. or she'll make plans with him to meet up for a holiday and then never goes through with it claiming family stuff came up. This went on for like over a year.
Then one day while I'm at work Joe calls me and asked if I have a moment to talk. I talked to him and he tells me how he found nudes that June sent him on Reddit. No I've seen the photos that she sent him cuz she had sent them to me. And these photos did not match the body type or The skin type from the previous photo that she had sent to the trio chat. June is my best friend so I didn't want to expose her even though I already kind of knew that she catfishes. So I asked them if he thought that she was posting her photos on Reddit or if he thought something else. And he point blankly said that obviously she's catfishing. So we talked about it for a while and I kind of told him that I knew that she was catfishing from a while back. Ultimately she does end up sending photos of herself her actual self to him But this took extreme begging And it was the course of over 2 months. (I've known what she looks like for a while now And actually had photos of her but again she's my best friend and if she didn't want photos of herself out there I wasn't going to send them to him. And I did know that these were actually photos of her and not some ridiculously hot fucking Instagram photo that she found somewhere) But in the end she does break up with him and starts dating this new guy.
Then she started making her profile pictures these super skinny hot blonde girls but cropping out the face. So anyways she's dating this new guy and I kind of stay out of their relationship just because the relationship with Joe was just up and down and all over the place and I was just kind of tired of it. And she tells me stuff about the relationship and how she sends him photos. And seeing that her profile photos aren't of her I know that she's back to catfishing. And again she's making plans to meet up with this new guy as he only lives 7 hours away from her but she keeps coming up with an excuse as to why they can't meet up. So anyways one day out of the blue she messages me for book recommendations. Now I am into a very selective type of genre. And basically it's dark romance. And she kind of asked what it was about so I kind of gave it a list of some of the things that go on in this dark romance genre. I.e kidnapping torture rape Mafia... if you have TikTok you've seen booktok And you kind of know where I'm going with this. So anyway after I tell her kind of what to expect she gets very defensive and asked me why I would recommend that to her. I was confused and I asked her what she meant. And she told me that it's fucked up of me to recommend books about rape when she's been raped before. Automatically I started to question her because this is the first time in 4 and 1/2 years that I've heard about this. And I didn't believe any of it. She claims that she's brought this up multiple times. But I wouldn't take that topic lightly and forget about it especially when it was a huge thing with May. So anyway she brought it up and I basically shut it down and we didn't talk about it for about 6 months.
Then for our game I was in charge of hosting a meeting. And she was the one that wanted this meeting so I went out of my way to go to each individual person in our community to get their statements point of views and stuff that they wanted to bring up And I typed it up on one big Microsoft word document. This took the course of two days. And then when it was time for the meeting she was sleeping so we rescheduled it for the next day. Disaggravated me because she knew when the meeting was as it was planned 2 weeks prior And I reminded everyone the day before. Then when it was time to have the rescheduled meeting, she was online and I had messaged her and she responded to me that she can't be asked about the meeting anymore and that she really just didn't care about it. And that really pissed me off so I called her out on it telling her that it was basically fucked up that I did all this for her just not to give a shit. Then out of nowhere she says that she's going to go see her grandmother because her grandmother is crying and that she's going to choose her family over a video game anyday. I called her out on lying and trying to make me feel bad with a made up excuse. And I basically blew up on her and told her that I was sick of the lying about her drug addiction and her fucking all of these people and her getting drunk every single night while she's gaming and especially her lying about being raped. I also brought up some other key points about her basically only reaching out to me when she needs money and she never really just messages me to check in on me. But for me the main focus was her lying. She basically says that she doesn't have time for my shit and she tells me never to throw that back in her face. She then removes me from a mutual discord that were both in that she hangs out in a lot in the VC. And then surprisingly not even 10 minutes later she's online playing the game. And I wholeheartedly believe that she purposely removed me so I wouldn't see that she's in a VC while messaging me. So I basically just decided to end the friendship right then and there and tell her that it's exhausting keeping up with the lying and I'm just kind of over it and I blocked her.
Fast forward about 2 weeks later I did unblock her because we are in a mutual discord because of the game that we play together and the community that we're both apart of. And it was annoying seeing a bunch of blocked messages and only knowing half the conversation that was going on in the discord. When I unblocked her I made no attempt to reach out to her. And I had invited a friend from our previous community that we had left to come and join this community and play this game with us and I made an announcement in the discord that she was basically coming. Some more backstory about June is that she's very jealous if I get close to other people. And I honestly think that when I was bringing in somebody from our old community she felt threatened. June then reached out to me and told me that she basically misses me and that she's sorry for how she treated me and she wants to be friends again. I tell her that it's not how she treated me it's about the lying. And she still stuck with her rape story and this time added that she was raped multiple times instead of just the one singular time that she had previously mentioned before. And she messaginh me this all while having the catfish profile photo. And I basically tell her that I just don't believe her after everything she's lied about. And honestly if I'm being completely honest if I was raped before and I told my best friend that I was raped and she flat out told me she didn't believe me. I would never in my life apologize to her. And I feel like in my mind that kind of just cements to me that she's lying along with all the other stuff that she lied about obviously.
