For me: - I've found threads to be useful only if they are recent, once its a few days old I generally forget about it forever because i'll never find it anyways. - Sometimes i want to start a new thread to empty the context, regardless of how trivial the chat history is. - Storing memories for specific details could alleviate the context window problem where history matters making the one thread option more viable (perhaps with a clear context button) - One single thread feels more engaging but having muddied context (or the perception of it) makes that new thread button more appealing than continuing an old chat with a new intention - I love the idea of threads organizing different conversations, but it feels a little overwhelming and disjointed the more threads I make.

I don't know if it's my perception, but lastly I feel that when my ship gets damaged, the hull looks way less damaged then before, I got screenshot and memories of ships looking blasted after a fight, with a lot of details and scars, but know I only see major damage, like losing a wing or some kinda impact marks, nothing like what I was used to, it's a bug or am I tripping? I woke up with some energy today! Well no, well yes but no. I didn’t get out of bed til a bit after 9 but I was technically replying to work messages on my phone sooo… it doesn’t help, I’m still bad. I also admittedly wanted to move from away EA type work because I found it embarrassing to say when someone asked what I did, idk why because it’s a perfectly respectable job but there’s kind of a stereotype that goes with EA’s/PA’s I guess, probably more so when you’re a young woman but also idk, it just sounds so admin-y. But then what, my bright idea was to move to HR?! Where there’s an even bigger stereotype - like an ACTUAL one and people just seem to have some kind of prejudice against the entire department and idk. And you have to deal with emotional stuff like people losing their jobs, harassment/bullying claims, parents having stillborns and other bereavements in general. So you have all that, mixed with having to apply legislation and internal policies against every conversation and decision etc etc etc. And that’s just the advisory stuff, then there’s project work, transactional crap that I’ve been lumped with lately because the junior team members don’t seem to be doing anything and my manager has instead asked me to handle it as opposed to getting the juniors to get their shit together. I don’t really like saying the S word, it seems yuck coming off my tongue/brain. Anyway. So being an EA… idk. You organise someone’s professional life aka their inbox and calendar, you prep them for meetings etc, you plan dinners/lunches and workshops etc, you get invoices signed off, you book travel… that’s basically it. It can obviously vary but at the heart of it that’s what they do. Some more senior ones will do a bit more/be more involved but barely. And here they are earning like $30k more than me. I don’t intend to imply I could easily do their job, I realise they’re highly skilled and good at what they do - it’s not an entry level role, but I’ve DONE IT. And not only that but I helped run the office, I was also EA to the general counsel, I booked international events and planned them and I was trusted in being the Chairman’s go to when he was in London and he was a literal billionaire which doesn’t mean he’s any better or anything, but I mean I would think they have a certain expectation? Tbh they probably just took pity on me and wanted to make me feel helpful or something. Idk. Anyway. I think all of this is simply because I’m fed up with work and being used as a gap filler purely because I have a better understanding of certain systems/processes like I have a better understanding for a reason - because I blimmin well DO THEM. So if others would get off their high horse and pitch in they would too. Anyway I think I’d get bored of the lack of variety within EA type work and if I’m going to spend 40+ hours in a job I want to at least somewhat enjoy it/find it interesting. I used to want a job I felt passionate about, but I kind of just don’t think I’m someone who will have that and I’m kind of making my peace with that now. I am absolutely a work to live person, not the other way around. I just want to be somewhat interested in my work, be paid fairly/well enough and work with people I like/don’t dislike. Hello I have pain on my left hand and wrist. This comes from a lot of left handed use. Such as drawing, typing, mousing, and mobile device use. Today i noticed some stiffness on my left thumb, it’s really feels weird to move it in a circular motion and has me worried. I am looking for a keyboard that is:

Could anyone with experience of being NIV dependent give me some advice about international air travel please? New diagnosis and getting conflicting advice about travel with my dad.
Background: My dad was recently diagnosed with bulbarespiratory ALS, having been admitted to ICU due to breathing difficulties. It has been a very rapid and unexpected journey for him and us as a family. After a month in hospital he is now back home with a PEG (which he currently only uses for water) and is using NIV (all night and some of the day). He does not really have any symptoms in limbs and remains independent and mobile in daily life, although does fatigue quickly and is using the NIV more during the day.
Question: My dad's greatest passion in life is birdwatching, and prior to diagnosis he would travel to Portugal 3 or 4 times a year to do this, staying with friends who live there. We are UK based, so this is about a 2.5hr flight. He really wants to be able to do this again, but I am finding it really difficult to understand if this is still possible/a good idea with his respiratory condition. We are in a pretty remote part of the UK and the local respiratory team we are dealing with don't seem to have much experience with ALS. I was pretty disheartened by the head of the resp team I spoke with last week who was basically very unsympathetic and told me "I can't see why you would want to travel honestly, the airlines won't allow it and travel insurance will be astronomically expensive, so I would manage your expectations accordingly". This was very disappointing to hear, but didn't actually seem to give a reason why medically it wouldn't be advised, and having done some reading on the MNDA website etc. it seems to say travel with NIV is doable, so we are left a bit confused. We are aware that progression could be very quick and so want to figure this out as soon as possible, particularly while his mobility remains good.
Could anyone share some experience/perspective on this? NIV +air travel? Travel insurance? Airline not allowing use of Bipap machine?
Of course, if it isn't safe/advisable that is one thing, but if it is possible, it would make a huge difference to my dad and if there is any way for us to do it safely I would move heaven and earth to make it happen. And if not, then I want to be prepared to speak with him about it gently as it will be a huge disappointment for him if he can never go back. TIA

I know this is a hyper specific and vaguely shifty ask but Im trans and using a parents kohls card, so I need to know how specific the transaction descriptions get. As in, does a purchase of a mens sweater apear as "MENSWEAR!! YOUR KID IS TRANS!". Joke. I know this will likely not be answered. Just trying my luck. I cant ask for card details, I've tried searching it up, and I do have to go to Kohls.
