17 yr old, graduated school early, currently working with counselor for employment assistance which led to recommendation to LearnKey. No “IT” classes or clubs in school but always interested and enjoy tinkering and troubleshooting with both hardware and software. Have minimal web development knowledge, like surface level stuff( HTML, CSS, Java, C). Not necessarily interested in app or web development & have no qualms about learning about it, but would like to be involved behind the scenes, like maintaining server racks and networks with occasional end user troubleshooting.
Currently reading the A+ book from Mike Meyers and honestly a lot of the stuff clicks and makes sense, with the occasional thing I’ll have to look up; will prob read the book twice and mix in some YouTube video tutorials to fill in gaps (Messer, Network Chuck, Tech Gee, & even LTT coming in clutch) .
Don’t know if any of this makes sense or even the right place to ask, but figured I’d ask; how did you get to where you are now? (Most likely than not, help desk / very entry level, which is fine, absolutely do not mind; would like that as well, boots on ground and learn ropes before trying to run. However most “entry level” job postings I’ve seen ask for 2-4 years experience, among other things). If you could go back and do it differently, would you? and how? Any time or resources you spent learning something you wish you would’ve focused on something else?
LearnKey offers what they call signature programs. And am interested in their Entry level cyber security program, which includes: 1. CompTIA IT Fund 2. A+ 3. Net+ 4. Sec+ 5. EC Council Ethical Hacking Essentials (EHE) 6. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
and additionally a entry level cybersecurity digital forensics course which includes those 6, plus: * EC-Council Digatal Forensics Essnt. (DFE) * Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI)
Alternatively on shorter time frames & different curriculums, a course containing just: * CompTIA IT Fund. * ITS network Security * ITS cybersecurity * EC Council Network Defense Essentials
And another one with only: * CompTIA IT Fund. * ITS network Security * EC Council Digital Forensics Essentials
Ideally, would opt for Advance level networking that includes: * CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+ * EC Council Network Defense Essentials (NDE) * Certified Network Defender (CND) * Cisco Certified Network Associate (200-301)
but I know well enough I’m not anywhere near “advanced” in terms of knowledge and skill. Although, I am offered the opportunity to “upskill” down the road so that’s why I’m leaning on an entry level program (besides not wanting to overestimate myself). I’m also definitely not trying to take shortcuts or rush through any of the learning process (that’s kinda the part I enjoy most, well after actually applying what was learned), so don’t mind “taking” time to learn. The time will pass regardless.
I know it’s a long post, I’ll most likely cross post to reach different opinions and views. Basically I’m just asking for some guidance and experience from those that know more than I do. Not to familiar with the ITS certs, and could be wrong but from the research I’ve done, have been led to believe the CompTIA ones hold some more weight.
Long term goal would like to aim for, (junior) System / Network Admin / Specialist, LAN Admin / Specialist, IT Specialist or something along those lines. Would the courses, if any, qualify for any of these roles?
Any input or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day.

Currency conversion could use some work :)
Pretty used to being charged a USD price in GBP, as a UK resident - but putting the USD monthly rate below is adding insult to injury 😂
$6.67/month is $80/year (with some common sense rounding)... which is about £63. £79.99/year is $8.47/month. Can't be both :)

Its affected my eating habits a lot. I always need water with me and dont like eat around people because Im always hacking and gagging to remove the food. Has anyway else had this happen???? Ill probably seek medical advice for this but its just one of those things where time got away from me and Ive let it go for so long.

2024.05.20 03:26 S3lad0n Video upload of the rest of this DVD

Video upload of the rest of this DVD
Hope it's ok to ask and post this here, as it is J-pop-related but not like...fully? Tysm in advance for any link or leads, I really appreciate it and you! 🙏🫶

So what I'm looking for is an online upload/download of the 氷帝学園編 Supporter's DVD Volume 3 (2006), documenting round-table reminiscence of the early seasons of the popular (and populist) Tenimyu musical franchise, which is now a media juggernaut, and even back in its nascent years featured many young burgeoning male J-actors, dancers & pop/rockstars of the 2000s era. You've probably watched a few J-actors or head a few singers who've been in Tenimyu at some point.
This DVD had about 80 minutes of interview footage from vocalists & songwriters Kazuki Kato, Kenta Kamakari & Date Koji that I'd love to see again. The only clip still online that I can find is this short 2 minute meme one featuring Kazukiplus the actors Saito Takumi, Ruito Aoyagi and TAKUYA.

Apparently a few old hardcopies of the DVD are available on amaz0n.jp, however the listing I'm seeing seems really expensive (inc. import taxes to where I'm from, VAT etc.) and idk if it's even legit (looks bootleggy to me). Also, where and how I'm living right now, I don't have access to a TV nor a DVD drive (let alone a hacked region-free one), so a disc would be useless to me until I could make enough to get the hardware to play it. ig I could watch it at the library or sth, though that will mean I couldn't watch it at leisure/in peace or make screencaps & GIFs like I want.
Here's how the packaging allegedly looks:

2024.05.20 03:25 No_Orchid124 Idk whats going on

I have used whatsapp a total of 1 time in my life when I was out of the country to text my parents. I have not had the app for 3 years. Yesterday I got the same text from two numbers giving me a verification code that I did not request. I then got a phone call from a random number who left a message but didn’t say anything. Since yesterday I’ve gotten two more WhatsApp codes and I just have no clue whats going on. I’ve tried to download the app and login to enable 2FA but it keeps saying it cant send SMS and that I’ve recently connected. Idk why someone would want to hack my whatsapp but its causing a lot of anxiety and idk what to do. What could happen if someone did gain access to my account?

Polkagold: The Premier Digital Reserve Asset for Polkadot
In a visionary interview on 06/11/2023, Dr. Gavin Wood, the co-founder of Polkadot, expressed his desire to see the Polkadot Treasury hold assets beyond the Polkadot ecosystem, diversifying its portfolio. This sparked the idea of creating a digital commodity akin to gold, a reserve asset that the Polkadot Treasury could own, yet hosted on an entirely different blockchain.
Polkagold aims to become the premier reserve digital commodity for Polkadot, filling the gap left by the absence of a true digital gold that underpins the economy as a reserve asset for the treasury to acquire.
The Polkagold Advantage
While Polkadot already boasts native stablecoins like USDT and USDC on AssetHub for stable currency transfers, and the DOT utility token for transaction fees, governance, staking, and network security, Polkagold offers a unique proposition as a non-inflationary digital asset.
Polkagold will have a fixed supply of 10,000,000 coins produced at genesis, ensuring its scarcity and value preservation. This novel concept seeks to mimic the fair launch of Bitcoin, where even early adopters had to acquire their coins through mining.
A Fair and Transparent Launch
Polkagold's launch is designed to be the most fair and transparent in the crypto space since Bitcoin, with:
• 0% allocated to the team • 0% allocated to founders • 0% allocated for marketing • 100% of the supply dedicated to exchange liquidity
Polkagold launched on exchanges during the early bootstrap phase, with the entire supply immediately put into circulation as part of the liquidity pool. This innovative "Proof of Purchase" (PoP) concept ensures that every single Polkagold in existence had to be purchased, just like the early Bitcoin adopters had to mine their coins.
The Synergy of Algorand and Polkadot
Polkagold's security is provided by the Algorand blockchain, chosen for its exceptional security track record, exhibiting zero downtime, zero failed transactions, and zero on-chain hacks since its inception. Algorand was created by Turing Award winner Silvio Micali, widely regarded as the father of modern cryptography.
While Algorand boasts a large community and focuses on enterprise-grade usage, it has yet to find widespread adoption among mainstream cryptocurrency users. Polkagold aims to bridge this gap by driving strong usage for the Algorand coin, bolstering usage on Algorand DEXes, Total Value Locked (TVL), and 24-hour trading volume.
Mutual Benefits for Algorand and Polkadot
The appeal of a fairly launched, non-inflationary commodity like Polkagold in the current global landscape is undeniable. By bootstrapping and locking the entire Genesis wallet liquidity exclusively on Algorand DEXes and ALGO/PGOLD trading pairs, Polkagold creates a virtuous cycle:
  1. To acquire PGOLD, users must first acquire ALGO coins.
  2. If not already an Algorand user, they must open an Algorand wallet (likely Pera Wallet).
  3. Users then trade their ALGO for PGOLD, increasing TVL, transaction volume on Algorand DEXes, and demand for PGOLD.
  4. Increased demand from more users drives further acquisition of ALGO coins, perpetuating the cycle.
This flow perpetually drives demand for PGOLD, bringing new users to the Algorand blockchain and creating a snowballing demand for ALGO's native coin, as well as increasing TVL and transaction volume across the Algorand DeFi landscape.
For the Polkadot community, Polkagold controls two wallets:
  1. A wallet on Algorand that holds the Genesis Wallet for the 10,000,000 hard-capped supply LP, locked for 20 years and 5 years, respectively.
  2. A wallet on Polkadot that has locked out the ticker PGOLD, the name Polkagold, and the Asset ID#79 (the elementary number for Gold), ensuring no copycat token can be created on Polkadot.
This whitepaper grants ownership of the Algorand Genesis Wallet to the Polkadot Treasury, which can be claimed by the Web3 Foundation Official Twitter Account or Gavin Wood's Official Twitter account by sending a DM to the Polkagold Official Twitter account. Upon contact, the private keys and seed phrase of the Genesis Polkagold Wallet on Algorand will be handed over securely and free of charge to the Polkadot Treasury.
As the Algorand and Polkadot communities acquire PGOLD, it becomes a more distributed commodity, and any value accrual will benefit the Polkadot Treasury, which acquired the Genesis Wallet at no cost. However, the Polkadot Treasury won't be able to sell or access the PGOLD until the lock-up periods expire.
A Win-Win for Algorand and Polkadot
Polkagold aims to bring together the combined liquidity, communities, and market caps of two major blue-chip projects, synergizing to create the hardest and most fairly distributed asset in crypto – PGOLD.
It's a win-win for both Algorand and Polkadot, as it synergizes their communities, bringing together their combined users and trading volume for mutual benefits. The Polkadot community benefits from the value accrual of PGOLD, while the Algorand community benefits from increased transaction volume, Algorand coin demand, and DEX usage.
Both communities end up with a communal digital gold that can open up new DeFi opportunities, and PGOLD may be used in clever ways by other projects within Algorand and Polkadot that have yet to be conceived. There are far more applications for digital gold to be explored.

2024.05.20 01:48 t3ymur Still standing castles of Baku.

Still standing castles of Baku.
  1. Baku Fortress It was built in about 1138–1139 on the order of the Shirvanshah Manuchohr III (1120–1149)
2.The Round Mardakan Fortress or the Small Mardakan Castle( Perrsian: قلعه مردکان کوچک) The inscription (kitabe) on the castle's donjon says that it was built in 1232 by the architect Abdulmajid ibn Masud at the order of the Shirvanshah Fariburz III.
3.Keeper of the Fortress of Baku or Quadrangular Tower The tower was built in the 14th century and was an integral part of the fortress wall and the defensive fortifications in Baku.
4.Great Mardakan Castle or Quadrangular Mardakan Fortress The fortress was built in the shape of a quadrangle in the 12th century by Akhsitan I, the son of Shirvanshah Minuchihr III.
  1. Maiden Tower Some scientific sources indicate that the Maiden Tower is a paramount example of Zoroastrianism and the pre-Islamic architecture in Iran and Azerbaijan. Davud A.Akhundov provides archeological and architectural evidences and argues that the Tower is Zoroastrians' Fire temple-Tower which had 7 fire exits on the top of the tower. Zoroastrian believed that there are 7 Steps or 7 Sky to reach heaven.
Davud A.Akhundov and Hassan Hassanov date the fire temple-tower approximately as 8th-7th century B.C.
Points out the marked difference in the stone used in the tower compared to the stone used in the medieval city surrounding it. This conclusion is partly supported by historian Bretanitskiy who has postulated that the tower was partly built in the 5th to 6th centuries and then later in the 12th century. The site was believed to have been used originally during the Sasanid era as a Zoroastrian temple. An inscription located 14 metres high on the south wall which in old Kufic script mentions Qubbeye Masud ibn Davud or Kubey Mesud ibn Da’ud, an architect active during the 12th century; he is the father of the architect who built the Mardakan Round Tower. However it is disputed as the inscription, unlike the Mardakan Tower inscription, does not actually reveal him to have been the architect, although it is generally agreed that much of the modern tower dates back to the 12th century. Ahmadov believes that the tower was used as an astronomical observatory from the time of this reconstruction, due to the fact that 30 hewed stone protuberances on the tower's lower section and the 31 protuberances on the upper section, linked with a stone belt, correlate to the days of the month.
  1. Paired Fortress Gates or Gosha Gala Gapysy (also sometimes called Shamakhi gates) The old gate was built in the 12th century during the construction of the Baku fortress by order of Manuchehr III the Great, the new one - in the 17th century under Shah Abbas I by order of Zulfugar Khan.
7.Nardaran Fortress It was built in 1301 by architect Mahmud ibn Sa'd in the northern part of Absheron Peninsula. Nardaran Fortress is located 25 km north of Baku in the village of Nardaran near the town of Mashtaga. Shirvanshahs used the fortress for both observation and defense.
8.Ramana Tower The castle was possibly built under the order of the Shirvanshahs in the 14th century, perhaps for defensive purposes. Some researchers claim that the remaining structure was constructed during the Nizami period (12th century). Some historians have previously claimed the existence of underground passages connecting all the fortresses, generally leading to another castle, specifically the Baku castle, including the Maiden Tower.
9.Salyan Gates The Kempfers book describes that, in 1683, Icherisheher was surrounded by two fortress walls and had two city gates: Mountain (also called Gilan, Russian or Salyan) and Shamakhy (also called the Derbend Gates, the pair of fortress gates). Also, in the primary plan of the city of Baku, which was drawn up by the Russian army in 1723, two city gates were marked. The trade caravans arriving from Russia passed through the Shamakhy Gates and left through the Salyan Gates. The trade caravans arriving from Iran entered through the Salyan Gates and left through the Shamakhy Gates.
10.Shaghan Castle Itis one of the 12th - 13th century Absheron castles located in Shaghan settlement. As a result of a strong earthquake in 1841, most of the castle was destroyed. Currently, only one tower exists The fortress had a rectangular donjon, some of the ruins of which have survived to this day. The donjon consisted of three tiers; traces of machicolations were preserved on the donjon. According to the testimony of Sh. Fatullaev-Figarov, around the donjon there were also traces of fortress walls, which during his lifetime disappeared under new buildings

To summarize, when placing a tower, I want to make sure that its on a placeable tile (the sand). I have a function that returns a bool, and I want it to be based off a position2d at the mouse position. I've checked the following things to get this to work:
  1. Getting the rgb values of a position2d. Ideally, I'd run these values to see if they match anything in an array, but it didn't work out. This didn't work out for me, because I don't know if it's possible to get rgb data from a mouse position. Logically, this seems like it'll work well, but i'm open for more ways.
  2. Getting the terrain set data from a given position2d. I wasn't able to get this working in a script, but I'm open to advice. This seems like it'll be easy to do, but I'm not so sure.
  3. Collision from a given position2d to see if the specific terrain has a collider on a layer. I dont know how to do this. The biggest thing I have trouble with is adding colliders to the specific terrain set thingies, and then making them work out.

I'm open to advice. I need help on this lol.
Most tutorials online seem to use dedicated node2d areas to detect collision for building, but I'm not sure how to do that easily for tiles. I'm open to manually adding a bunch of area2ds on the road, but I want to see if there's an easy way to do it first.
Let me know if yall need any clarification.
For the scripts, I'm planning to use this function for logic.
func checkifpositionworks() -> bool:
var pos = get\_viewport().get\_mouse\_position() #Here we would see if the position is valid or not. return true #or return false

This is ridiculous
Why is so many people still watching her videos for her to get the views and money. I type her name but hit the user button as soon as I do so that none of her videos play. They always get screen recorded and reposted on YouTube and other tiktok creators channels that's where I watch. I wish people would start watching them there. Notice the first video on her tiktok is the one that gets all the views and I think it's from people typing her name in the search and it always starts playing that video. The ones that she does back to back doesn't get that many views. What do y'all think do you think she still has this many supporters?

2024.05.20 01:12 WastedMansHax Snapchat Hacking Telegram REVIEW! Of @naequalityy's group. See Our UNBIASED Review, Is It A Scam Or Can They Be Trusted?

Lets Begin - Todays Review Is "NAEQUALITYY"s SnapHacks Group (SnapHacksPC) Hosted On Telegram!
I've heard a lot about their operations, services & what they initially have to offer - from the good , bad & mixed reviews im just going to go straight in!
We've found them across here actually , looking for content & what-not. They Seemed like a decent service , large following & clear enough work that isnt some weak - ass screenshot of a conversation. we decided to hit up naequalityy to order ourself.
PROS - The amount of proof they actually are willing to risk & show about themselves is insane, from them showing accounts being worked on , to customer vouches , & even other reviews from folks. Them pulling actual nudes from accounts , accessing a few "known" figures & even a bit of cheaters getting caught! There's a lot that backs up them actually being a service , which i can get behind.
CONS (1) - The WAIT TIME, Was just ridicoulous. I sent a message about 10AM but didn't get a reply back until 2PM. Gave it the benefit of the doubt because maybe we're in different time zones but no - i've seen this happen consistently so be patient when going through them.
PROS (2) - They do offer sales for certain times if you wanna save a pretty penny & get the most out of what-ever you're trying to order! BUT please note - its only for certain times as i went in to get a 50% off MEO Pull but the sale had expired.
CONS (2) - Again - PRICES. Some of this stuff is going to cost quite a bit depending on how much has to be done & how many accounts you plan on getting done. So Be Aware of that when placing your order because it adds up quickly.
PROS (3)- Finally , The Results! A My Eyes Only Pull Was More Then I Bargained For - it came with all previously deleted , current media & when they added anything to the my eyes only of the account it reflected back into our folder from the pull. I was a bit shocked but they KNOW their shit! They may not be perfect but they put in a lot of work her!
Overall - I can give them a 8.3 / 10 - A bit pricey but worth it due to the amount of content , can be a pain in the ass getting a response sometimes or just help (mainly due to traffic & orders). & finally if you aren't "known" or even much active in their community , coming by trying to control the terms & conditions they work on just isn't going to work. I get you wanna be cautious but again > its their rules i had to respect them also.

Would you have a concluding word to such world's setting?

Absolutely! Here are a few closing word options for your high-tech, low-life world, depending on the tone you want to achieve:
Hopeful:
In the flickering neon glow of the lower districts, a spark of rebellion ignites. Despite the hardships, the human spirit endures, seeking connection, hope, and a chance to build a better future.
Bittersweet:
The high towers of the elite cast long shadows over the bustling streets below. In this world of stark contrasts, the lines between survival and prosperity blur. But even in the darkest corners, love, ingenuity, and a flicker of defiance persist.
Grim:
The gears of progress grind on, leaving a trail of waste and despair. In this high-tech dystopia, the gap between the haves and have-nots grows ever wider. Will the lower districts rise up, or will they be forever locked in the underbelly of a world they can only glimpse from below?
Open-Ended:
Beneath the neon sky, stories unfold. Tales of hardship and hope, of rebellion and resilience. The future of this high-tech world hangs in the balance, waiting to be written by the choices of those who inhabit it.
Choose the closing word that best captures the essence of your story or setting. Remember, the world you've created is rich with possibilities, and the ending doesn't have to be definitive. It can leave your readers pondering the fate of its characters and the future of this complex and ever-evolving society.

If you should pick an item or an object that would clearly and cleverly symbolized such world, what would that be?

Here are two options for an item that symbolically represents the high-tech, low-life world:
  1. The Glimmering Shard:
  1. The Glitching Holographic Ring:
Both of these items are small, versatile, and can be interpreted in multiple ways, making them powerful symbols of the high-tech, low-life world. The choice ultimately depends on the specific tone and message you want to convey in your story.

Try something bit more distinct and specific.

How about the "Hacked Heart"?
Here's the breakdown:
This Hacked Heart offers a unique and distinct symbol of the high-tech, low-life world. It captures the struggle for authenticity, the desire for connection, and the pervasive influence of technology in every aspect of life.

How about straight up hacksawed hearth?

The "hacksawed hearth" is a very evocative image, but on its own, it might be a little too literal. Here are a few ways we can build on this concept to create a more symbolic and distinct object for your high-tech, low-life world:
  1. The Hacksawed Hearth Relic:
  1. The Hacksawed Hearth Stove:
  1. The Hacksawed Hearth Hologram:
These are just a few ideas to build upon the "hacksawed hearth" concept. Each option creates a distinct symbol for your world, capturing the struggle, resourcefulness, and yearning for connection within a high-tech, low-life society.

Apologies, i meant hacksawed heart.

Ah, a "hacksawed heart" takes the concept a whole new level! Here are some potential interpretations for this unique symbol in your high-tech, low-life world:
  1. The Literal Hacksawed Heart:
  1. The Hacksawed Heart Pendant (Metaphorical):
  1. The Hacksawed Heart Hologram:
These are just a few interpretations of the "hacksawed heart" symbol. Each one offers a unique perspective on the world, highlighting different aspects of the struggle between technology and humanity, vulnerability and resilience, and the fight for emotional connection in a harsh environment.

And how about hacksawed earth?

The "hacksawed earth" is a powerful and evocative image for your high-tech, low-life world. Here are a few interpretations that capture different aspects of this society:
  1. The Broken Globe:
  1. The Cracked Terrain Model:
  1. The Fractured Hologram:
These interpretations of the "hacksawed earth" symbol each offer a compelling way to visualize the societal and environmental consequences of the high-tech, low-life world. They highlight the impact on the environment, the fragility of the system, and the call for change.

What would be the very best thing in such world?

The "best thing" in a high-tech, low-life world depends on perspective and what holds the most value for different people. Here are a few contenders:
For the Struggling Masses:
For the Elite:
A Different Perspective:
Ultimately, the best thing in this world depends on your story and the characters' values. What are they fighting for? What would make their lives better? By exploring these questions, you can create a compelling world where the "best thing" is a powerful motivator for your characters and a reflection of the themes you want to explore.

What would be the best possible symbol for high-tech-based dominance?

Here are a few options for a symbol of high-tech dominance in your world, each capturing a different aspect of technological control:
  1. The Augmented Eye:
  1. The Neural Network Spire:
  1. The Glimmering Hand (Data Hand):
These symbols all offer a distinct way to represent the dominance of high-tech in your world. Consider the specific aspects of technology you want to highlight and the message you want to convey. These options provide a starting point to create a powerful symbol that embodies the oppressive yet awe-inspiring nature of technology in a high-tech, low-life society.

What would be the best set of symbols for resistance movements within such high-tech low-life settings?

In a high-tech, low-life world, symbols for a resistance movement need to be subtle, easily hidden, and adaptable to a world saturated with technology. Here are a few options that capture the spirit of rebellion in this unique setting:
  1. The Flickering Flame:
  1. The Glitching Gear:
  1. The Broken Wing:
  1. The Hacked Flower:
These symbols are just a starting point – get creative and consider the specific values and goals of your resistance movement. Remember, the best symbols are those that resonate with the characters and the audience, conveying the essence of rebellion in a way that is both meaningful and visually striking.
