Yo! First I want to say thank you for taking the time to read my post. I’m still searching for a few more people to talk to regularly, so I thought I’d try another shot to find some decent people.

So a little bit about me. Im 25 M and I live in the US. I’m pretty chill and easy going for the most part. I love joking around a lot, so don’t take me seriously most times haha 😅. I like to think that I’m a good listener, or at least i try my best to be. I’m introverted and a homebody, my ideal way of relaxing is wrapped up in a blanket watching a good Netflix series 😌, or just kicking back with some friends playing some games.
I spend a lot of my free time gaming lately. I mostly play Apex whenever I game but I also own some other games too. I have both a PlayStation and a Switch and I’m open to suggestions if you ever had another game you wanted to try playing. Feel free to ask me what games I own btw.
I enjoy listening to music. I listen to a little bit of everything. I like watching tv shows and movies on Netflix, and I’m a huge anime fan! I have more nerdy hobbies overall 😅 and I really enjoy science related topics, i like learning in general tbh. I enjoy playing card and board games, domino’s, ect, and I’m semi decent in chess too. I was learning to speak French at one point but consistency is kinda my arch enemy in well….everything 💀. I like reading every now and then, and I love a good story. I love memes and funny/interesting videos, so definitely feel free to share memes whenever you find them, and I definitely will do the same.
Long term wise, I prefer to keep talking on discord after talking on Reddit for a bit. I also would like it if in the long term you’re comfortable with voice chats. I’m cool with just chatting, but long term it would be better if we could call every now and then. Also, it would be good if we could do virtual hangouts from time to time. Maybe play some games, vibe out to some music, watch some shows/movies/anime together. I’m open to suggestions as well, so if you ever had something you wanted to plan then I’m open to trying new stuff.

I started piano lessons in elementary school and stopped after about 3 years because I didn’t like the structure or being told what to play, so my knowledge of musical theory is rather weak. Honestly feel like being able to play what I wanted was what kept me playing all these years, and I just teach myself whatever techniques are necessary for the pieces I want to play (like playing the same note quickly with different fingers for Hungarian Rhapsody 2 or Gottschalk’s El Cocoyé)
A side effect of this abysmal musical theory training is that I legit don’t know a single chord by its name except maybe major, minor 7th and a diminished, I just know them by shape. So like some chords are “the squished chords”, some are a “claw” chord because I need to make that shape with my hand. Kinda like the episode of Friends where Phoebe is teaching Joey to play guitar.
Some composers also use certain constructions of chords more than others so it’s easier to recognize when sight reading if I know Alkan composed it for example.
Bit of a rant but curious if anyone else does this? If so feel free to share your fun ways of remembering chords lol

We work for the same company, but in different departments that work closely together. He’s always so considerate and non-judgmental, but to be honest I can’t get a solid read on him at all. He’s so reserved and professional, I can’t tell if he just tolerates me or genuinely enjoys my company. It’s driving me crazy, and I can’t stop thinking about how cool he is and how much I want to get to know him better. I can’t connect my CSL elite to the fanatec control panel that I’ve downloaded on a laptop eveything is plugged in and the wheel base is plugged in through USB yet it won’t recognize the base what’s worse is the wheel base won’t respond I can’t turn it off with the power button and I can’t switch modes (stuck on Xbox mode) any solution?

I just finished AZ-104 test. Passed just below a 900 score. 51 Questions (5 case study questions).
I took AZ-900 the week before with a 951 score. I studied for approximately 1 week for each test. 6-8 hours a day. Did all Microsoft learning modules for each, dove into multiple different YouTube videos. No one specific. And some of the free offered examtopic website questions. In general I have about 11 years of IT knowledge however, minimal Microsoft knowledge and minimal cloud knowledge beforehand.
It’s definitely doable, but the dedication is really tough. Especially with working regular work days (being active duty army). I was averaging around 4 hours of sleep the past two weeks.
My situation only constitutes a rushed timeline because I’m getting medically retired and a lot of the positions I’m looking at are requiring these certs. Any way, I wish you all luck and want to say that it’s definitely possible to get them done, stay dedicated 💯

Best salicylic acid toners/serums without any AHAs/PHAs and ideally less than 2% (or if it’s 2% then it’s a more skin-safe ph or time-released formula) I use the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA to prevent ingrowns and it works perfectly, but unfortunately the astringent natures of high percentage of salicylic acid and green tea dries the area out a bit regardless of how much I try to rehydrate/moisturize the area, and yet without salicylic acid I will always get ingrowns.
I heard the Medik8 Press & Clear is time-released, but I kinda want to try something less than 2% first … I tried the Paula’s Choice 1% Calm but I think the Soja in it broke me out …

I’ve posted my story before but I’m at a standstill if not moving backwards. Quick recap- sigmoidectomy on January 4th. 8inches removed. Recovery was going well until end of March. Constipation and pain started until severe pain put me in hospital for 7 days on iv antibiotics. Another 7 days on oral antibiotics at home. Ct scan showed diverticulitis in the descending colon. I’ve been on antibiotics 3 out of the past 4 weeks and another week on oral torodol for anti-inflammatory.
All said and done I’m scheduled for colonoscopy June 4th pending no symptoms arise. Well after one week symptom free after all this it’s coming back. Trying to avoid the antibiotics since I was told I need to be off the antibiotics for at least three weeks otherwise colonoscpy needs to be postponed. I haven’t been to work since mid March. I love my job and need to go back. But my schedule is so unreliable depending on how I feel when I get up they basically said get yourself taken care of and will hold my job. Anxiety is starting to kick in as I feel like I have a ticking time bomb in my stomach. Part of me just wants to go back into the hospital and stay there until til this gets fixed. The other part of me is ready to give up and just start eating until my insides just explode.
So frustrating as I’m an active 46yr old male who is basically on house arrest living on eggs and yogurt.
Sorry for the lengthy post but I’m reaching here to see if anyone else had surgery and less than three months got hit again hard with an attack. And has anyone had symptoms like this for this long. My past history was a week of antibiotics and modified diet by week three I was back to normal.

Hey everyone! Here’s a little backstory: I (25M) am getting my master’s degree in cybersecurity and am set to graduate in August. This quarter, I’ve been pushing hard to secure an internship for the summer and a job in my field. Fortunately, I landed an internship, but I’ve been networking like crazy since the beginning of the year. My girlfriend (25F) is also getting her master’s in psychology. She already has a job lined up after graduation and has been focusing on her last few weeks of her program.
My girlfriend is quite clingy and wants us to hang out at least four days a week. The problem is, I work, go to school, study for certifications, and work on personal projects, so I don’t have much free time.
We’ve been arguing for a while because I’ve been busy networking, attending interviews, and participating in university-hosted conferences to secure a job in cybersecurity. She feels that this is taking too much of our time together and thinks I’m going overboard. I explained that I need to leverage available resources now, which led to an argument that has lasted for about two weeks.
Usually, I can spend all day with her on Fridays. However, this past Friday, I had the opportunity to visit Google headquarters to talk to some software engineers and others within the company. My girlfriend wasn’t happy and told me that if I go on Friday, I have to take off work on Saturday to spend the day with her. I told her that I couldn’t do that.
After some time, I told her that it feels like she’s not being supportive of my career goals. She responded that it’s not about her not caring but that I’m not putting the same effort into our relationship as I am into my career.
What can I do to tell her that I need to be focusing on my career right now instead of her getting upset at me?
TL;DR: I’m busy with career activities as I near graduation with a master’s in cybersecurity. My girlfriend feels neglected, and we’ve been arguing because I spend some of our days together seeking job/internship opportunities.

I got out of serving for some years and I’m back in it. There’s so many little things that I forgot about.

1. People being mad that there’s a wait when there’s empty tables. (They don’t understand sections)
   
2. The people who think I cook the food too?? I have no control over how long the kitchen takes, folks.
   
3. “Why are they getting their drinks first??” Because they ordered water and you ordered complicated mixed drinks. (And I have to wait on the bartender to make the drinks)
